Rouen, the historic capital of Normandy, is a city that engages all the senses. While its towering cathedral and medieval half-timbered houses capture the eye, the aromas drifting from its bustling kitchens capture the heart. Navigating the culinary landscape here means moving beyond simple sustenance to experience a true reflection of Norman terroir.
The local dining scene is a fascinating dialogue between tradition and modernity. You will find rustic, wood-beamed bistros serving recipes passed down through generations sitting comfortably alongside sleek, contemporary spaces where young chefs experiment with local ingredients. This dynamic range ensures that every traveler, regardless of budget or palate, finds a table that feels like home.
Normandy’s rich agricultural bounty is the true star of the menu. From the salty pastures that feed the region’s famous lamb to the orchards producing crisp apples for cider and Calvados, the ingredients are deeply rooted in the landscape. Dining in Rouen is, therefore, an act of exploring the surrounding countryside without leaving the city limits.
Classic Norman cuisine is hearty and unapologetically rich. Expect to encounter creamy sauces, the finest dairy products—including the celebrated Neufchâtel cheese—and an abundance of fresh seafood from the nearby English Channel. It is a cuisine designed to comfort and satisfy, perfect for refueling after a day of climbing cathedral towers.
However, Rouen is not a city trapped in the past. A new wave of gastronomic energy has swept through the cobblestone streets, bringing with it a focus on lighter plating, vegetarian options, and global influences that respect French foundations while looking outward. This evolution makes the city a genuinely exciting destination for food lovers.
To help you cut through the overwhelming number of options, we have curated a definitive list of the best dining experiences the city has to offer. Whether you are seeking a romantic dinner overlooking the Seine or a quick, casual bite between museums, this guide ensures you eat exceptionally well.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Paul French, both of us ordering the pre-fix menu so sampling all six dishes. Everything was delicious, especially the egg parfait with griolles mushrooms (entree), the pork fillet with garlic (plat), and clafoutis with cherries (dessert). The only slight disappointment were the red wines (Cote de Rhone Violet and Bordeau Brannen Graves) that were rather oaky. The service was excellent and overall a great value, We will return when we are back in Rouen.

Everything was well presented but not so balanced. Gravelax was delicious. Escargot was too salty. The lamb two ways, had salty seared lambs with the chops too tough. The spring rolls were bland and a big chew. They could've used some acid. The fish with fennel was bland as well. Just some more salt would've improved the dish. Desserts and cheese were perfect. So was the wine.

My wife and I arrived to find a very friendly staff who delivered an extraordinary lunch! We started with the foie gras that was magnificent then enjoyed a mushroom/asparagus risotto which was the best ever. We finished with a rubbard dessert that left our mouth watering for more. Thank you Paul Arthur, you made our Rouen visit a memorable one.

We were looking for a place to go—and we’re glad we did.
A cozy family-friendly restaurant in Rouen. The staff is polite and friendly, and always happy to help you choose your meal. The atmosphere is very pleasant.
I highly recommend it—you won’t regret it!

Truly outstanding. What a cozy and nice location. The staff and manager were super friendly, showing interest not only to the locals but also to us tourists which is not a given!
The tartare was ok but the duck, where can I start. It was the best duck we ever had, what a pleasant surprise. It was superb, cooked on point with the inside still juicy and crunchy on the outside. You could taste the great quality of the meat. Together with a sauce an absolute delight. If you ever go there, the duck is a must have. Also, the wine was great. All in all a true 5 star experience

Food was creative twist on French classics and incredibly delicious, service was super friendly, and the atmosphere was casual and quirky (check out the urinal and the statue of the flashing gnome in the corner...). We went with party of six on a Wednesday at 7:30pm, no wait! Absolutely loved, would come here again.

Went to Rouen during covid, but this restaurant was amazingly great!
We booked for reservation on google but when we arrived, they said they didn't really use google for booking 🙁 we were really disappointed at the first, while borrowing the washroom (which was pretty cool and hippy) the owner came out to tell us that he can arrange a table for us since we traveled from Canada to them.
We were really happy for that! We ordered an appetizer--Foie gras, it was so yummy!
and two mains as duck leg and steak.
Seems like their foie gras burger is really popular as well(we really want to try!!)
Guess we just have to come back next time in the future! haha
It was an amazing experience here for dinner!

A very enjoyable meal. A strong wine list. The maitre’d is charming and helpful (even though he poured our wine to another table!). Lovely amuse bouche. We had the foie gras (6/10), tuna tataki (7/10), beef (7/10) and duck (8/10). Desserts nice and light - strawberry tart and citron. All in all, a good meal for a summer evening. Two halves of wine (didn’t finish and we took them back).

We had lunch on a day we knew we would be doing a lot of traveling and may not have time for dinner. The pate literally melts in your mouth, the pork tenderloin was very tender and served in an excellent sauce with an assortment of delicious vegetables. Dessert, though we thought we didn’t need it, was the perfect finale. The crust was buttery, the berry mousse delicious and the whipped cream just the perfect topping. We were the only people in the restaurant so I don’t know if everyone always gets the same attention but our service was excellent. The only downside was that we WERE the only two people in the restaurant which is not the ideal atmosphere but it wouldn’t prevent us from going again if just for the pate’.

This was an intimate restaurant in the heart of Rouen. We enjoyed our dinner, but it had a very limited menu and was quite expensive. The presentation was very nice. We were the first table so had great service, but there was only one waiter so the service slowed down as the place filled - and it did fill up - so make reservations.
I started with the Ravioli that was very tender and delicious. My steak was just ok, but again, a very nice presentation.
My husband started with the tuna and had the fish (cod). He had the cheese plate at the end which he liked. I had a dessert but did not care for it.

Good place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. With a friend we were looking for a late lunch (weekend) place and found this restaurant among others but ended up here because it looked better and was packed even after 14.00. We found this restaurant via google reviews for Rouen restaurants. With a high rating we gave it a try. It was the best meal we had so far on our trip. We would highly recommend this restaurant to others. My wife and I both had the avocado and salmon mouse for an entree. My wife had the pollock filet and I had the pasta for the main plate. Both dishes were excellently prepared and presented. I will have to admit my wife’s was the better of two, so that we ended up ordering a second plate of the pollock since it was so good.
The wait staff was very friendly and helpful even though we did not speak French.

We booked online and confirmed by the restaurant. But when we arrived on time at the restaurant they said all tables were occupied so they cannot serve us. Although their booking system showed that we successfully reserved the table, they refused to provide the service. We came with full of hope for delicious food but very disappointed eventually.

A delicious French brunch! We ordered 1 brunch for the couple (we don’t eat huge portions and it was enough for the 2 of us, with an extra coffee). We had the sweet pancakes, croissant filled with cured meat, eggs and cream cheese, and a toast like with cured meat, peach, walnuts and some green leaves. Everyone was cooked to perfection, well presented and delicious. We were delighted. The coffee was also very good and they had non dairy milk as well - I even got a glass of wine with my brunch, which is a nice way to kick off a holiday day! The lady welcomed us and explained everything in English and she could speak multiple languages with the different customers, which is a nice touch. Something really nice is that they post their menu with pictures and all on instagram- what makes it really handy to choose. Loved it. Location also super good, very close to the cathedral and touristic area. Highly recommend!

Lovely place! People are super friendly and welcoming. Food is fresh and very good (special mention for the cheesecake passion). 😋 The only thing I would say is that it’s a bit overpriced for the seize of the plates. But very good overall!

Just wonderful all around. Great food that’s healthy and original and delicious - the cold soup velouté was so refreshing.
Great view of cathedral just outside, great staff who is welcoming
Best of all they’re open from 12-17 or 18. Life saver when you’ve missed the 2h window for lunch

Outstanding food and service as well as a few board games to play with the kids to keep them entertained. Probably the best value meal in Rouen for the quality you get.

Very good food at very reasonable price. Starter+ main dish (each 3 to choose from) cost 14€. The food is served quite quickly. The lady is absolutely adorable and helpful and speaks English. The menu in English too.

A wonderful place to have lunch, and not only. They speak English and have an English menu, see my photo from Summer 2025.
Be sure to order the complex dishes set consisting of the main dish, starter and a dessert (from the top of the menu).

The food was delicious! Vegetarian options were very few, but otherwise this was a perfect dinner spot! Very kind service, too!

Stopped in for a quick beer and a bite when rain threatened. I am vegan but they were out of the veggie focaccia sandwich I was hoping for. The server spoke great English and they whipped me up a potato salad that hit the spot perfectly. My family greatly enjoyed each small item we got. From soup to dessert, it’s a small menu but everything is fresh and flavorful, at a reasonable price. Seems to be a family-run cafe. On a lovely side street by the museum.

The food was very good.
Would be better to have a tasting menu with a little heads up. If the main is something you just don't like...its kind of a waste. You actually go home hungry. Also with a nice menu it is great if you can read what is on your plate....tasting menus often give you the details of your experience to take with you. The real issue is language.....hard to understand..not great fun...
The language is no issue when it is written...

We did the 5 course meal with 3 glass wine pairings. The food was excellent! And all the wine pairings on point. The service was a touch slow (our meal took 3.5 hours in total), but otherwise an incredible restaurant experience.

I have now visited this Michelin-star restaurant twice and have been very satisfied with everything – the service, the food, and the drink selection.
When making a reservation, they also take into account where you would like to sit and do their best to accommodate your preference.
Josie Dixon★★★★☆
This is a restaurant that takes itself very seriously. The staff are impeccably turned out, and the atmosphere is reverential, so smiles are in short supply. We were solemnly presented with what looked like a menu, but since there is no choice and the food is a secret until it arrives, it turned out to be a directory of suppliers. When I asked for a glass of wine, I wasn't allowed to see the list or choose it myself - the sommelier asked what style of wine I liked and then made the choice for me; it was delicious, but I did feel rather deprived of any agency in the selection. We felt rather sorry for the waiter whose job was upselling an additional course, for which he had to open a tin of caviar to tempt diners into an upgrade from the menu and budget they had already chosen.
The food is a work of art, with every attention to detail. Our three-course lunch was generously supplemented by a beautiful array of amuses bouches beforehand, delicious bread with good olive oil and home-made butter, and petit fours with our coffee. Everything is announced in great detail by the waiting staff.
The starter involving smoked mackerel and aubergine had a rather dark taste, and although it was very elaborately garnished, I would have preferred something fresh and green to the strange black spidery fibres which were arranged on top.
The main course was pollock, beautifully cooked, with a tasty source and a small arrangement of miniature vegetables.
The rhubarb dessert was delicious, especially the ice cream at the centre, and again, impeccably presented.
For such a high-end restaurant I found the chunky pottery on which it was served rather ugly, though the wine glasses were fitting to the splendour of the wine.
Thanks to the chef and all the team for the level of care and attention which went into this detailed culinary presentation.
Silvia Myers★★★★★
From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in an atmosphere that was both elegant and welcoming. The service was impeccable — attentive without being intrusive, and delivered with genuine warmth that made us feel truly special. We chose the 5-course menu with paired wines, and it was an absolute triumph from start to finish. Each dish was a work of art — each dish was a masterpiece. Beautifully presented, with flavours that were perfectly balanced and thoughtfully composed. The wine pairings elevated the experience even further, each glass thoughtfully selected to complement and enhance the flavours on the plate. The setting itself added to the magic of the evening — refined, intimate, and with a touch of understated luxury. If you’re looking for a dining experience that combines artistry on the plate with flawless service and a wonderful atmosphere, L’ODAS is not to be missed.

I came across this restaurant online and noticed it had good reviews, so we decided to give it a try tonight. Since it’s located in the Rouen town centre, I didn’t set my expectations too high, as I had the impression that restaurants in prime spots often compromise on quality. But I was pleasantly surprised! Every dish, from the starter to the dessert, was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I could really feel the passion and creativity of the chef. They also offer set dinner menus at very reasonable prices. The owner and staff were warm and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!
Kev Lloyd★★★★★
The food was devine, with some ingenious use of unexpected flavour combinations, e.g. The sorbet with my sea bream ceviche starter was truly inspired and the clever use of unexpected herbs in sweet desserts was brilliant. These guys really know how to use ingredients. Prices were extremely reasonable for the quality and presentation too.
My wife and I visited on our wedding anniversary and took the table next to the pass, where we were able to see the kitchen and chat to the chef. The service staff and kitchen team were all fantastic and made it a memorable visit and a great way to round off our last full day before returning to the UK.
It's easy to find good food France but this really was a cut above.
Patra Madden★★★★★
Brilliant spot for lunch in a tourist heavy area but not a tourist restaurant. We had the entree, plat, dessert menu. There were two items to choose from in each category so we had one of each. Each one was more delicious than the next. We started with the red tuna with goat cheese ice cream. Amazing. I never would have thought of that (why I am not a spectacular French chef!) and the sprig of dill on the top was perfect. The duck in puff pastry was also delicious but I give the tuna the prize for entree. The plats were a delicious steak with amazing fries and a nicely done fish. Both wonderful but in this case I give the win to the steak. Both desserts were also delicious, the lime dessert was my favorite but my spouse loved the cafe gourmand.
Altogether with a glass of wine each and two coffee the bill was 77€. Worth every penny. Thank you so much to the lovely staff for being so helpful and the chef for his talent.
Sharon Soraya★★★★☆
The restaurant sits on a nice square. The service is cordial and the dog is welcome. Was also given water right away.
The menu looked good.
We went for the 2 courses.
Scallops with passion fruit and the fois gras. These were very tasty but this is a restaurant with its own touch. The dishes were made with certain combinations.
My main course was chicken. I myself am not a fan of soft skin on the chicken. And it said crispy but that was just the parmesan pieces.
The flavors have to suit you and it was different than usual though.
I was sorry that it didn't quite have the wow effect. That’s why I choose 4 stars.
The bread served with the food was not easy to eat. This was unfortunate.
The service is super good and the restaurant looks nice inside.

We choose this resturant for our leisurely lunch during our day trip to Rouen from Paris. The space is just lovely and so perfect for an extended lunch, not too upscale but lovely quite and comfortable. As for the food, well, it was so delicious, with a good number of choices from the set menu to à la carte, and the service was excellent as well. We will be certain to visit again on our next trip to Rouen!

This place was very unassuming. They had 4 appetizers and 4 main courses on the menu, plus desserts. I was afraid the creole influence would be too spicy for me but I really wanted to try something from this restaurant. I ordered the catch of the day, which was a trout fillet cooked in a passion fruit creamy base. It was served with rice and a tomato rougail with sliced baguette. I was pleasantly surprised by the soft, rich flavors of the creamy base for the fish. I actually couldn’t get enough. I added a little rice to the sauce to soak up the flavor to enjoy. The tomato atop the bread was unbelievably refreshing, too! I wasn’t even thinking about how hot it was outside (and inside, but that’s due to the regional heat wave). Despite the heat, I HAD to order the same dish - AGAIN! I had two full orders of the catch of the day all to myself, and I was so happy! The chef was surprised that I wanted more of the same, and she was so happy to prepare another meal. Presentation was beautiful as well. The fish was perfectly cooked - so flaky and moist. After finishing the first round, I thought to myself, “I don’t want to go home tonight and regret not being able to remember this taste, so I should order another serving just in case.” The prices were so reasonable that it was obvious I had to order one more. It seemed like she had her regulars there as well. What a welcoming place to enjoy time with family and friends! Next time I will try another dish…but will still order the catch of the day to go along with it! I did make a reservation and would recommend doing so since it’s a small space in the dining room.

Linda running the place with her whole heart. It felt a little like a mother arranging running the whole place and taking care of us customers with such love and attention. The food was wonderful. Combination of flavors surprised us and our 8 year old complimented the combinations of different flavors. The deserts especially the chocolate shuffle with the turmeric chilly lemongrass sauce was mind blowing. The fish was devoured by my son in seconds. The rice was so well cooked just took me back to malaysia. Absolutely wonderful place. A must visit in Rouen.

Great food, great service, great value for price.

We had escargot, magret de canard, côte de bœuf, faux filet, and some wine — everything was delicious.
Even the dessert was amazing.
Highly recommend!

It’s a wonderful please in terms of price and quality. Dishes are tasty and cheap. The service was ok. It’s not an exquisite place to have a nice romantic dinner, but it’s a place to enjoy food. It’s always crowded due to low prices.

We decided to visit Rouen, which is a 2 hour train ride from Paris. After exploring Rouen all morning, we came here for lunch before heading back to the train station.
The restaurant is very spacious and had an extensive menu. We decided to order the camembert roti (cheese with duck, salad, and potatoes), escargot, and confit de canard (duck leg with potatoes).
The portions were quite large and we were able to share all the dishes between 2 people. The escargot was yummy and flavorful and I enjoyed the Camembert cheese with the salad and potatoes. The duck leg was also a tasty bite and we were especially keen on trying it since duck is a specialty of the region.
Overall, this was a great spot for lunch, the portions and prices are fair and the staff were all welcoming!

Very nice and authentic restaurant in Rouen. Great food and atmosphere. The beef steaks were great, tender and very tasty. Nice service, all the waiters smiling and taking care of all the customers.

I enjoyed this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, not uptight or posh. Produce was fresh and bread was also nice. Dessert was the best 🙂 Was it the most creative dish I’ve tasted? No. But, I can see why they have a Michelin star ⭐️ I would come back here again for a nice, small celebration to whatever in life.

Amazing staff, but the food is not what a michelin star restaurant should serve. The plating was way too simple and looked a lot like a meal at a regular restaurant. The tastes were weirdly combined and the desert was too plain - a simple chocolate cake like one you'd order in a bakery. The food should be leveled up, everything else was great!

A great dining experience! Deserves a mchelin 🌟! Food and wine pairing was super impressive and staff were just so accommodating and friendly. Definitely a great place to dine when in Rouen.

Such an amazing experience! The food left us speechless. The combination of the ingredients and the presentation were marvelous, everything on the menu was well-thought, pure art and science blended together. The service was excellent as well - so friendly, sweet and knowledgeable. Probably one of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. They definitely deserve a Michelin star (or even several)

Why does this not have a Michelin star? Superb. Fabulous food with option of sublime wine/drink pairings. Choose 2, 3, 5 or 7 courses (with choices for each) with or without wine pairing (but their wine selection is excellent). Each dish is described in detail (French or English) by the server. They are complex and full of (sometimes unexpected) flavours. Just brilliant.

We arrived at about 8 PM and waited some half an hour to order and another half an hour to get the starters - those available at the time. The starters and main dishes were delicious but the desert was not good (we had French toast with caramelised pears, away of what it should have been). We tried the Benedictine liquor that was fantastic! Service was slow but the restaurant was fully booked and this may be an explanation.

I was a bit afraid of coming here due to some reviews I read, but our experience was spotless. The first waitress didn’t speak English fluently - but she really tried to support and service us in the best way possible. We had some drinks and light food while drinking and everything was really good. The onion soup was delicious- highly recommend. We also had a local cured meet dish and it was very tasty! The cocktail I had was also very good. The restaurant is beautiful, the outside area very charming and welcoming - we loved it! It was worthy the stop!

We came into town after a long drive and ferry ride, absolutely starving and unfortunately when restaurants were about to close for the afternoon. The gentleman running Mamie explained the kitchen was about to close but we could order food if we could decide quickly. We happily did so and had delicious, fresh meals plus Aperol spritz, followed by coffee and sweet treats. Everything was prepared perfectly and incredibly flavourful. Service was warm and friendly. The restaurant itself was cheerful and charming. We adore Mamie and recommend it without reservation!

A break after walking and sightseeing. It's a beautiful sunny day, I'm sitting and enjoying this beautiful day. I'm sitting across the street from the church dedicated to the bravest woman in France, who unfortunately was later burned as a witch. the place was chosen because of the sunny terrace and coffee grounds. They also offer food and a variety of pizza, definitely worth a visit.

Mamie is perfectly located in the heart of the city, just a few steps from the Vieux Marché.
The service was excellent — the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived.
The decoration inside is charming and adds a warm, cozy atmosphere to the experience.
As for the food, we tried the Burger Papi Dédé, which was absolutely delicious — the meat was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We also had the cordon bleu, which was not only delicious but beautifully presented.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Rouen!

Former Michelin restaurant with decent food, great atmosphere and excellent service. Had the tartar and was impressed.
The ceviche was delicious but the steak was overdone and tiny for the price. I was disappointed with my meal but a decent experience.

Amazing experience. Did the four course tasting menu which put me a food coma for the rest of the day.

Simply unbeatable. Of all restaurants in the world I’ve come across, many were good but none beat Gill. The food, atmosphere and professionalism are second to none. They are incredibly consistent and it is an absolute highlight to dine here time and time again.

One of the best experience we've EVER had, France UK Spain included. An absolute treat from beginning to end, we had the 5 course meal, we were given the option to be told what each course were going to be before but we happily opted out to allow for discovery and excitement. It did not disappoint Expertly served by a savy, knowledgeable and experienced staff. Exciting beyond delicious dishes, awesomely put together products, beautifully presented we were swooned from beginning to end. This is art without being pretentious. Satisfying and pleasing on another level. Please go, not too expensive either. A special mention to the super talented head chef who came out to say hello and chat with us as we were leaving. Really really fantastic.

The best gastronomic experience we have ever had. The combination of Japanese and French flavours is an experience you must try.

Excellent restaurant, a find in a lovely part of Rouen close to Saint Maclou . We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious meal and an excellent Macon, reasonable price mid 30 euros. The fixed menu for 3 courses was 39 euros and we really liked our pigeon and fish main couses and our fig meringue and grape cheesecake were delightful. We had good service, but felt she was slightly stretched as working the whole restaurant on her own. Advisable to pre book

Wow, what a night. Who knew Normandy-Japanese fusio n cuisine could be a thing before the Flaméron? If you are up for a very original culinary experience, here is a very passionate and young staff that welcomes you in a very unpretentious atmosphere. The place is very small so reservation is recommended. Only (small) downside, the service is pretty slow, but food and waitress explanationd will help not see time going by. 🙂
Gian Arias★★★★★
A delight for food lovers. They offer an interesting mix of japanese and french flavors and the ingredients are always fresh. I was pleasently surprised by the mix of sweet and savory flavors we found in our main dishes. The server was super nice. The chicken Korokke is highly recommended. We were not as impressed with the desserts but good preparation and presentation. Overall great experience.
Jim Barber★★★☆☆
The food was OK. A 5 course tasting menu. Nothing exceptional though. The staff although good natured were very disorganised and the service slower than I would have liked. It took over 3 hours to serve 5 courses.
Practical Tips for Dining in Rouen
Understanding the rhythm of French dining will significantly enhance your experience in Rouen. While the city is welcoming, it operates on a schedule that differs from many other countries, and knowing when to eat is just as important as knowing where to eat. Here is how to navigate the local culinary customs like a seasoned traveler.
Respect the Meal Times: Most restaurants in Rouen strictly serve lunch between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, and dinner service rarely begins before 7:30 PM. If you arrive at 4:00 PM looking for a hot meal, you will likely be limited to bakeries or crêperies. Plan your sightseeing around these windows to avoid disappointment.
** Always Book Ahead:** Rouen is a popular weekend destination for Parisians and international tourists alike. Even if a restaurant appears quiet at 7:00 PM, it can be fully booked by 8:00 PM. A quick phone call or an online reservation the morning of your meal is essential, especially for the higher-end establishments on this list.
Look for the "Formule" or "Menu": To experience the best value, opt for the set menus (le menu or la formule) offered at lunch. These often include an entrée, main course, and dessert for a fraction of the à la carte price. It is the most economical way to taste high-quality Norman cuisine without overspending.
Embrace the Cider: While France is synonymous with wine, Normandy is cider country. A traditional meal, especially one featuring crêpes or pork, is best paired with a local brut cider or a glass of Pommeau. Do not hesitate to ask your server for a regional pairing recommendation; they are usually eager to share their local pride.
Understand the Cheese Course: In a traditional French meal, cheese is served before dessert, not after. If you see a cheese board on the menu, it is meant to be ordered as a distinct course. Try the local Neufchâtel, which is often shaped like a heart, or a pungent Livarot to truly taste the region.
Rouen’s culinary identity is intrinsically linked to its history and geography, making every meal a form of cultural immersion. From the bustling markets near the Place du Vieux-Marché to the quiet, intimate dining rooms tucked away in medieval alleyways, the city rewards those who eat with curiosity.
As you wander through this magnificent city, let your appetite guide you as much as your map. Whether you are savoring a slow-braised cut of meat or simply enjoying a crusty baguette with local butter, you are participating in a tradition that has defined Rouen for centuries. Bon appétit.
