Paris is a city that captures the imagination through its architecture, art, and undeniable romance, but the true soul of the French capital often reveals itself on a plate. For Muslim travelers and food lovers who adhere to halal dietary laws, the city has transformed into a vibrant culinary destination that rivals London or Dubai.
Gone are the days when finding permissible food meant settling for a bland kebab stand; today, Paris offers a diverse and sophisticated halal dining scene that spans the globe. The evolution of halal gastronomy in Paris reflects the city’s rich multicultural tapestry, blending North African traditions, Levantine spices, and even French techniques.
From the bustling streets of the 11th arrondissement to the trendy corners of the 18th, chefs are redefining what halal fine dining can be. You can now find everything from gourmet burgers and Wagyu beef to traditional couscous and refined French pastries, all prepared according to Islamic principles.
Choosing where to eat in a city with thousands of options can be overwhelming, especially when you want to ensure the quality matches the convenience. That is why we have curated a list that focuses not just on the certification of the meat, but on the overall experience, flavor profiles, and the atmosphere that makes a meal memorable.
Whether you are looking for a quick bite between museum visits or a lavish dinner with a view of the Seine, there is a table waiting for you. We understand that “halal” can mean different things to different people; some look for strictly supervised slaughter methods, while others simply prefer restaurants that do not serve alcohol or pork.
To cater to the majority of our readers, we have prioritized establishments that are widely recognized within the community for their commitment to serving high-quality, 100% halal meat and maintaining a welcoming environment for families. We also consider the originality of the menu and the value for money.
This guide is designed to be your culinary compass, saving you time and ensuring you do not miss out on the hidden gems that locals frequent. We have walked these streets, spoken to the owners, and tasted the dishes to bring you a list that prioritizes taste above all else. Because dining out should be a highlight of your trip, not a compromise.
Below, you will find a diverse selection of eateries that have earned their reputation through consistency and flavor. From American-style comfort food to authentic Thai cuisine and elevated French classics, these are the places that prove halal dining in Paris is a world-class experience.

It is a must to try this restaurant especially for Muslim travellers. Amazing service, love the menu and the food! There is definitely something for everybody. Pls support this halal establishment if you are in Paris. On our recent visit there are no long lines for sure. The staff are humble and always helpful. Easy to get to on foot or by uber.

This is a short walk from Roosevelt Station, or about 15 mins walk from L’arc de Triomphe. We had dinner here, the service was decent as was the decor. The kids menus are superb, with very generous portions and will fill any child 7 or below easily. Drinks were super with great options.
Lamb shank was delicious.
However, the fried chicken steak and the house steak were quite dry and chewy, they were not great. That said, sides were all perfect. Gratin dauphinois was superb. The steak could have been an off-night (unlikely as we ordered two and they were the same!). Not amazing but still worth a visit as it’s not easy to get halal steak in Paris.
All in all a great place to come and try.

The ambience is great..very cozy, chique vibes. Food comes out fast..ate mostly chicken. It's very rich and scrumptious. I couldn't finish all of it..but highly recommend. It's in a very trendy part of Paris. As a tourist I enjoyed it.

I discovered this halal restaurant online while visiting Paris, and it turned out to be quite easy to locate. I would definitely recommend booking in advance, as it can get fairly busy.
The food itself was enjoyable. I had the hamburger, which was decent, while my partner ordered the chicken and rice dish, which was particularly well-prepared and full of flavour. Overall, the quality of the food and the convenient location made for a good dining experience.
Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard of the food. The staff’s facial expressions and body language felt unwelcoming, which made us somewhat uncomfortable during our visit. To add to this, we were surprised when a tip was requested at the end, despite the lacklustre service.
In summary, while the food and location are definite positives, the service leaves room for improvement.

From the moment we arrived at Amazonia, we knew we were in for something special. The entire experience was simply mind-blowing. Every dish that arrived at our table was a masterpiece, beautifully presented, bursting with flavour, and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail was exceptional. Hats off to the talented chef and the owner for creating such an unforgettable dining experience.
As a halal restaurant, Amazonia exceeded every expectation. The menu is outstanding, and their non-alcoholic cocktails are some of the best we’ve ever tasted, creative, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the food.
What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service. Duniya looked after us throughout the evening with genuine warmth, professionalism, and care. After every course, fresh napkins and new cutlery were provided before the next dish was served, a level of attention to detail that you rarely experience, even in many fine dining establishments. It made us feel incredibly well looked after.
The atmosphere is elegant, vibrant, and luxurious, making it the perfect place for a special occasion or simply to enjoy an extraordinary meal. I am still mesmerised by the entire experience and can’t stop thinking about the incredible food, outstanding hospitality, and beautiful ambience.
Without a doubt, this is one of the finest halal dining experiences we’ve ever had in Paris. We will definitely be returning and recommending Amazonia to everyone we know. A well-deserved 5 stars!

The food in the place is amazing, very tasty and delicious. It is very much on the level of a high end place.
Service was equally great and food came out to us quickly. We barely waited 5-10 mins.
On the other hand The atmosphere, although good overall, is not on the fancy, 60€ per plate level. There were no printed menus and tables were a bit small. It is more suitable for a 20-30€ restaurant rather than a "fancy" place.

A great place to eat if you're in the 8th. Fresh products, excellent service. Just a stone's throw from the Champs Elysées. Don’t hesitate.

I had an exceptional experience at the restaurant, mainly due to Pierre's outstanding customer service. The ambience was inviting, creating the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The cocktails were fantastic; I requested a very sour cocktail, and the bartender expertly crafted a drink bursting with flavour.
The food was nothing short of phenomenal. The filet mignon was tender and perfectly cooked, while the octopus salad offered a delightful medley of textures and flavours that made each bite memorable. The ceviche was refreshingly zesty, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients.
Overall, the serene and intimate atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a special evening. It truly was a lovely experience that I forget.

This was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in Paris. The fact that it’s halal makes it even better. I had the steak and the duck and both were amazing. I’m from Texas and I’ll say it straight up this steak tasted better than anything I’ve had back home.
The owner Beja was super genuine and really took care of me. It was my first time ever trying duck and he was very patient and made sure I liked it which I definitely did lol. You can tell he actually cares about the food and the people he serves.
Great food great vibes and great service. I would 100 percent come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris.

A fantastic spot with amazing flavor—loved the lamb and the unique Middle Eastern twist on the Caesar salad! (4.5 Stars)
We stopped by Los Brothers and had an absolute treat of a meal! The grilled meats and fresh salads here really stand out from your typical fast-casual spot.
The Lamb Skewers: Cooked to perfection—tender, full of rich flavor, and beautifully seasoned. If you enjoy authentic, well-spiced grilled lamb, this is a must-order.
The Caesar Salad (Priya’s absolute favorite!): Usually, we find standard European or original Caesar salads a bit plain or overly heavy, but Los Brothers does an incredible Middle Eastern/spiced take on it. Packed with flavorful chicken and fresh toppings, it completely elevated the dish. It was easily the star of the table!
The Bulgur Wheat: A brilliant side option instead of heavy starches—warm, comforting, and wonderfully seasoned.
Minor feedback: The only real downside was the french fries, which turned out a bit too oily and soggy for our taste, so we ended up leaving most of them behind.
That small point aside, everything else was a solid 4.5/5 stars. Great food, generous portions, and wonderful flavors. We will definitely be back when we want a high-protein, flavorful bite in Paris!

Avoid this place at all cost the food was absolutely appalling disgusting chips tasted like a strange flavour from the oil that I couldn't even understand. The onions tasted foul and off. The staff were so so so so rude including the guy almost sweating directly on to the food. the food speaks for itself truly truly disgusting. Avoid this at all costs go across the road. This place needs learn how to speak to customers and deliver decent food. clean your oil fry the chips smile and take the money.

We went to Los Brothers for our last dinner in Paris, and wow — what a way to end the trip.
The place was absolutely buzzing. People were constantly coming and going, and it was clear this spot is popular for a reason. Even with how busy they were, the service was top notch. The staff stayed on top of everything, made sure we had what we needed, and kept things moving without ever making us feel rushed.
We ordered the platter to share, and it was so good. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. It’s one of those meals where you keep saying, “You have to try this,” back and forth across the table. Every bite delivered.
One of the best parts? Everything is halal, which made it an easy and comfortable choice for us.
Huge thank you to the team at Los Brothers for such a great experience. Keep killing it — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Paris!

Arancini was not great and the “cocktail” was a room temperature smoothie absolutely no liquor. Not sure why they’re calling themselves a cocktail bar or listing cocktails on the menu. Tables are very close together. I was constantly having someone’s booty in my personal space. Service was slow and a bit rude.

The food at this restaurant was excellent overall. We started with the chicken spring rolls, which were decent and a good way to begin the meal. For the mains, I had the ribeye steak, which was rich in flavour and cooked very well. My partner chose the lamb shank, one of their best-selling dishes, and thoroughly enjoyed it, it was tender and satisfying.
What truly stood out, however, was the service. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.
All in all, a great spot for both quality food and warm hospitality.

When searching for halal French cuisine Le Jumeyrah came up multiple times. Having visited two French establishments on my trip I would definitely recommend this one as the food definitely hit the spot with every dish being executed almost perfectly with the exception of the mashed potatoes which were just alright but not necessarily amazing. The duck which I had was perfectly cooked medium rare and accompanied by a robust soy glaze and sweet potato mash which made for an unexpected but brilliant combination. The service was also amazing with attentive waiters who made sure that our experience while at the restaurant was great. This place is a 10/10 and I would highly recommend it.

Overall, they were to kind but maybe was our first experience.
TLDR; We're just happily satisfied with the night.

Smart restaurant with upmarket decor . Trying to serve fine French cuisine. The lamb shank was amazing cooked slowly and falling off the bone. Unfortunately the Veal dish i had was poor. Really thin slices over cooked when i asked for medium and served with creamy pasta - it just didn’t go.
The chicken pasty starter was nice and dessert was also good quality.
Worth a visit but pick the steak or lamb

I put 2 stars only to be able to publish this cmnt. But it doesnt worth even one…It felt like a fake Italian restaurant. We went there because of the high rating and all the good reviews, but the place smelled more like a shisha bar than an Italian restaurant. What surprised us most was seeing pre-prepared food being delivered by car. Definitely not what we expected based on the reviews.

First, the food was excellent, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
That said, I wouldn’t describe this as an authentic Italian restaurant. The atmosphere felt quite different, with Arabic background music and a dedicated hookah lounge. While there’s nothing wrong with either of those, they don’t align with what most people would expect from an authentic Italian dining experience.

Chicken Salad was amazing (not sure about the eggs on top though) same for the burger.
They do love to add eggs on top of most orders but you can ask for an egg free plate.
Everything is Halal..
One star off service as it took them around 40mins to get the burger

Nice halal French establishment. It was my first time trying foie gras and I really appreciate that it was halal. It works very well with the onion jam that they provided. I also appreciated the Mocktails that they have on their menu. The veal steak was fully cooked so it was really hard to chew and not the tastiest. However, I really enjoyed the Gratine that came on the side. Crispy chicken was okay as well. A little too saucy.

very disappointed from their service. we just asked glass for our water but they said no.
and also prices are expensive for such kind of small wraps and meals. Respect tourists who chose and come to your small cafe, guys.
Update after the owner's response:
I read the previous reviews, and almost 90% of the 1-star ratings mentioned the rude attitude of the staff. Unfortunately, I experienced the same thing myself.
We simply asked for five glasses so we could drink the water we had with us. I don't think providing five glasses would have cost your business much. How we choose to spend our money and what we decide to drink is our own choice. Apparently, ordering your already expensive food wasn't enough, and even a few cups were considered too much to ask.
As a result, in a crowded café, the five of us had to take turns drinking directly from a 1.5-liter bottle. Moments like these are what truly define the quality of customer service.
Thank you for your "hospitality" and "kindness."

We went here for a quick bite. We were going to grab food and either quickly eat there or take it to picnic at the eiffel tour.
I like reading reviews before I go and people were taking about the good service. WHAT A LIE!!!
My husband was ordering he was asked if it was take out or dine in. He said we'll dine in if that's cool, since they're were plenty others dining in, and was told that we couldn't dine in because dine in prices were more. So we said that's fine, we'll take it to go. But the server this whole time was practically yelling at my husband he was so rude. We ordered a pizza and 2 drinks and waited. As we were waking our, my husband grabbed our order while I grabbed our 2 drinks. The SAME GUY THAT TOOK ORDER AND WAS RUDE came yelling after us again demanding to see the receipt, which he never gave us, and asking us if we paid for the 2 drinks. HE TOOK OUR ORDER!! HE TOOK OUR MONEY!! And then embarrassingly putting us on the spot in front of everyone?!?! What an awful experience!
It's cheaper than other places but not worth the service you'll get. The food is fine/ good. Nor horrible, but not amazing either.
The pizza was very thin crust, which I actually enjoy but some may not. Flavours were good. Typing were also good, I would say not enough but they weren't skipped on either. Cheese was also a good cheese and enjoyable.
I was actually excited about this place, chose them myself, and was so happy to be helping a fellow brother. But it really left a sour taste in my mouth.

Got the paprika chicken sandwich. Good size portion, decent prices and tastes really good. The kind owner also brought out the entire restaurant a lovely sweet warm tea. Highly recommend.

Mayfair Garden: A Masterclass in Indian Fine Dining
If you are looking for the absolute best Indian restaurant in Paris, look no further than Mayfair Garden. This isn't just a meal; it’s a full sensory performance located just steps from the Arc de Triomphe.
The Culinary Highlights
• The Starters: We kicked things off with their Pink Kachori Chaat (the stunning pink "sambosa" style dish). Watching the server break through the delicate crust to reveal the vibrant medley of chickpeas, pomegranate, and avocado is pure theater. It’s the perfect balance of crunchy, tangy, and sweet.
• The Main Event: You cannot visit without ordering the Dum Biryani. Served under a golden puff pastry lid, it arrives at the table piping hot. When they cut it open, the aroma of saffron and spices is absolutely intoxicating. It is easily the most flavorful biryani in the city.
• Modern Classics: The Pani Puri and the Butter Chicken were equally impressive—familiar flavors elevated with premium ingredients and world-class presentation.
The Verdict
The service is impeccable, the plating is like a work of art, and the flavors are authentically bold yet refined. Mayfair Garden manages to feel both incredibly luxurious and warmly welcoming. 10/10 – A must-visit for foodies in Paris!

We had a fantastic dining experience! The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about every item on the menu. They took the time to explain the dishes to us and made excellent recommendations. Throughout the meal, they were attentive and checked on our table regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.
The food was absolutely amazing. The Tandoori Lamb Chops were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The Chicken Achari was delicious, and the Kachori Pink Chaat was the star of the evening—absolutely outstanding!
For our main course, we enjoyed Butter Chicken with fresh naan, and everything was exceptional. Great food, excellent service, and a wonderful overall experience. We will definitely be back!

A wonderful 5* dining experience. We received a warm welcome and was shown to our table upon arrival without delay. The staff are extremely polite and hospitable. We shared a few dishes amongst our group and everything was divine! The cherry on top was the chai, just what I needed after a long day of sightseeing in the cold!

Everything was honestly 10/10. The service was outstanding, very welcoming and attentive, and the food was beyond amazing. Every dish was incredibly flavorful, aromatic, fresh, and perfectly prepared.
You can really taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. An excellent experience from start to finish, I will definitely keep coming back.

Celebrated easter lunch here with a friend.
We both love the dishes we ordered and the service. Butter chicken was somewhat on the sweeter side but we still immensely enjoyed it. The servings are all sharing, very generous.

A ver nice place with a lay down atmosphere in a calmer street. The decoration is lively and the staff is really friendly. All dishes were good and had interesting flavours. The story behind the restaurant is heartwarming and knowing that everything is done in house with fresh ingredients is a blast.

An unexpected gem. We spoke with the owner several times and also found the wait staff to be a delight. The food is healthy, creative, flavorful, and thoroughly satisfying. If you like Moroccan food or hummus this is a must! I recommend everything I tried: the hummus sampler, falafel, chicken with olives, and desserts (multiple; my dining partner and I enjoyed alternating between the coconut/citron and flan/orange flower varieties).
The interior design is fantastic, too - don't sleep on checking out the toilet (not joking). The music was also fantastic (Elvis et al. earlier in the evening, then instrumental middle eastern).
A lovingly and thoughtfully created dining experience and one of only two places that I made a point of eating at twice while in Paris.

It's difficult to find interesting and good quality food while traveling and Paris has many dodgy touristy restaurants on every corner.
Yoummah was a great find. It's a blend of Arabic North African cuisine- Tunisian, Algerian, Moroccan.
The decor is very calming. The ladies serving and cooking are charming and polite.
The food- we had the variety hummus plate. Unfortunately it was hard to distinguish between the various versions of hummus. Though I could feel that the food was good quality, it certainly packed in flavor.
Then I came for their aubergine dishes and that day the aubergine did not get delivered. Well, if it's 1/3 of your menu then how come there were no contingency plans? Meaning every grocery store sells good quality aubergine in France/Paris. A run to the grocery store would have done the trick....so disappointing.
I had the best food (similar type of food) in Essaouria, Morocco. The flavors there were unbelievably great.

Yoummah is a great place for middle-east food! I got the 35€ menu and was very satisfied with the amount of food but also the quality that came with it! You get a taste of their different appetizers + a choice of main dish + dessert! The portions are huge and I left the restaurant completely full 🙂 the only small regret is the lack of nicer desserts, their current ones have nothing too special, but I will definitely come back!

O M G. This place was amazing!!! Our table had both detox drinks (delicious!), the chicken bites to share (a must), the chicken tagine (sublime), the falafels (moist and delicious, not even close to dry like most falafels I’ve had), and the quinoa and veggies (a party in your mouth). Honestly, I’m so disappointed we only found this place right before we were about to leave. The best meal I’ve had in Paris this whole week. Worth the trek, no matter what part of Paris you’re in. SO GOOD!

Absolutely incredible experience at Jawad Longchamp. The food was rich, authentic, and full of flavour. Easily some of the best Indian food I’ve had. The dishes were fragrant and perfectly spiced, the butter chicken was silky and tasted very authentic. The desserts were amazing too, especially the kulfi - a must try.
What truly made the experience stand out was the warm hospitality and attentive service. The staff were welcoming, kind, and made us feel at home from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was elegant yet cozy, perfect for a relaxing dinner in Paris.
If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine in Paris, this place is an absolute must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Service is one of the best I have had in Paris. It is not the traditional Parisian experience. There is a lot of staff that will ensure quick service. Very courteous, professional and respectful.
The food is good and we were gifted some mango lassie in the end which was cool
Overall a good experience

This place is so amazing. My mother and I visited Paris for the week and we ate here on our last day. The service was amazing and the food was so delicious. We ate at three Indian restaurants during our stay and this was the best one. They also gave us ice when we asked for it which was very kind. We also got mango lassi that was so incredible. Nazeem was so sweet and I wanted to take him home with me! This place is a must try. It was busy at first, but we were seated immediately and it never felt too crowded.

The first time I went to the restaurant with my collègues was very questionable cause we ordered butter chicken and it literally tastes like just light cream with chicken in it and was sweet. And me being a south Asian myself, I did not appreciate it as much as the others but the second time I went for Mater Paneer it was really good! It had all the spices and flavour you want when you’re eating an Indian food!
I actually appreciate it when the restaurant doesn’t over simplify the original dish to accommodate the locals, you don’t have change the whole dish! Some people actually appreciate the original dish more just tone down the spiciness.

Essential Tips for Finding Halal Food in Paris
Navigating the Parisian food scene requires a little bit of local knowledge to ensure you are getting the best experience possible. While our list above offers a curated selection of the finest restaurants, knowing how to spot quality and understand the local customs will enhance your journey. Here are some practical tips to keep in mind as you explore the city’s diverse neighborhoods and culinary offerings.
1). Look for the “AVS” Certification or Clear Signage
While many restaurants claim to be halal, it is wise to look for visible proof. Many reputable establishments in Paris display a certification from the mosque of Paris or a label like “AVS” (A Votre Service), which indicates strict control over the meat supply chain. If you are unsure, do not hesitate to ask the staff to see their certificate; a trustworthy restaurant will be proud to show it.
2). Understand the “Halal-Friendly” vs. “100% Halal” Distinction
In Paris, you will encounter restaurants that are “100% halal” and others that are “halal-friendly.” The latter might serve halal meat but also offer alcohol on the premises. If you strictly avoid dining in places where alcohol is served, stick to the “100% halal” or “no alcohol” establishments, which are often family-run and provide a more conservative environment.
3). Explore the Suburbs for Authenticity
Some of the most authentic and affordable halal food is found just outside the city limits, in areas like Saint-Denis or Créteil. While these are not tourist hotspots, they are easily accessible by Metro and offer a deeper dive into the Maghreb and West African culinary traditions. If you are looking for a true local experience away from the tourist crowds, a short train ride can be incredibly rewarding.
4). Make Reservations for Dinner
Parisian dining culture is structured around specific meal times, and the best halal restaurants fill up quickly, especially on weekends. Unlike some cities where you can walk in anywhere, popular spots in areas like the 11th arrondissement often have lines out the door by 8:00 PM. Calling ahead or booking online will save you from a long wait and ensure you get a table at your preferred time.
5). Do Not Skip the “Fast Food” Gourmet Scene
Paris has elevated the concept of halal fast food to an art form. The city is famous for its gourmet smash burgers, fried chicken, and tacos (a French hybrid dish that is entirely different from Mexican tacos). These spots often use high-quality, freshly ground halal beef and artisanal bread, proving that a quick meal does not have to sacrifice flavor or quality.
Paris is a city that rewards the curious eater, and the halal dining landscape is a testament to the city’s ability to embrace and elevate global cultures. Whether you find yourself savoring a slow-cooked tagine in a cozy dining room or biting into a perfectly seared burger, you are participating in a rich, evolving culinary story. The variety available today ensures that your dietary requirements never limit your ability to enjoy the gastronomic excellence that France is famous for.
As you plan your itinerary, remember that food is one of the most powerful ways to connect with a place. By choosing these establishments, you are supporting communities and chefs who are passionate about bridging cultures through taste. Bon appétit, or as they say in Arabic, bil hana wa shifa.
