I had a walk-in appointment and found the team to be really warm and really professional. They did a fabulous job of a Russian manicure and pedicure. I actually walked in the next day or so because one of my nails had peeled off and they just very quickly sorted it out 🙂
A beautiful salon on the promenade with a stunning sea view. Very clean and well maintained. Outstanding service both via Instagram and in person. The manicure was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended- I will definitely be back. 🙂

wonderful little location in the heart of a romantic town! nathalie was very accommodating and helpful.
the only thing that really bugged me was the bathroom door - a sliding door that couldnt be closed all the way. there was a huge gap between the wall and the door so it was pretty see through and not sound proof. very weird for friends, also not ideal for couples if you ask me.
however, we really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back!

WONDERFUL house in a quaint town, the lady that runs the hotel is very sweet and helpful. Be prepared to walk your luggage up many stairs though. (And no ac as expected) but the house is right across the entrance from the 10th century castle. An approx. 20 minute walk down stairs to the nearby hawk beach. (Definately take the bus back up though)

One of the best sea views on the Mediterranean …amazing view especially for the price. Great location nice staff very clean. Close to all the restaurants along the promenade. Not far from the harbor area. Book the sea view it’s well worth it. The Room is a nice size in the balconies are large.
Unfortunately, in my opinion, this was not a 4-star hotel experience.
We booked three rooms for our family, and there were issues in two of them. In one room, the bathroom was not properly cleaned when we arrived. In another, there was an unpleasant damp smell coming from the air conditioning, as well as a bad smell from the bathroom sink. The sink issue was fixed after we reported it.
The rooms were quite small, and the air conditioning could not be individually adjusted. It was basically either far too cold or switched off completely, which was very uncomfortable.
On the positive side, the breakfast was good, the beds were comfortable and the ocean view was great.
We were also disappointed by the lack of any common area where guests could simply sit together. One evening, we asked if we could use one of the tables in the open breakfast area to play a board game. We were told that we could not. This was particularly frustrating as the hotel does not seem to offer any other comfortable shared space for guests.
Overall, there were some positive aspects, but considering the room conditions, cleanliness issues and facilities, I would not consider this a 4-star standard.
Hotel stay of my dreams! Wonderful staff members, super helpful! Had a room with a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, it was truly spectacular. We visited in the middle of a heat wave and luckily the room had AC and the hotel had free water in the lobby as well. Can’t wait to come back!
The hotel itself is clean and well maintained, but the experience was ruined by one member of the front desk staff.
An older receptionist who speaks several languages seemed more interested in lecturing guests than helping them. Her attitude came across as arrogant, condescending, and unnecessarily confrontational.
Nobody goes on vacation to be talked down to or treated like a student being corrected. Good service should make guests feel welcome, not uncomfortable.
It’s a shame because the facilities are perfectly fine, but one employee’s behavior left a lasting negative impression. Unfortunately, this was the stereotypical kind of customer service that gives France a bad reputation among international travelers
Not a fan. Rooms were clean, stuff was okay but it is NOT a 4 star level.
We arrived after a long road trip to be told that a garage approximately 1km away from the hotel is 'the best option' to park for 16+ euros per day. Very few spaces in front of the hotel outside, we had a huge luck to be able to find a spot one day later but we were unable to travel anywhere by car being afraid to lose it. On booking.com it says parking is available but if you go to the details it with a few clicks it says 24 euros per day you can park in their garage but it was already full by the time we arrived, so you could say it was our fault not to check cautiously enough.
They have a small bar right next to the entrance, which is okay but still not a 4 star level.
Booking.com literally says breakfast is included but it turns out it's not, 17 euros per person for a very poor buffet, you can have way better food a few steps away. Absolutely misleading, feels like a scam.
Bathroom is extremely small, but could be worse.
Not a big thing, but minibar had two bottles of water and that's it. Really, not a huge deal but again, not a 4 star level.
Elevator's button stuck on the ground floor, that's just embarrassing.
Location is really good, most of the stuff is friendly, receptionists and cleaning lady deserve a huge raise and air conditioning is old but quite good.
All in all, for 1500+ euros for a week it's highly, highly overpriced and would not recommend it, at all.

I’ve organized a surprise massage for my girlfriend and Aline confirmed the appointment, but when we arrive there’s no one answering at the door or picking up the phone, absolute awful customer experience.
After 1h of waiting we managed to speak with Aline and she doesn’t even remember I booked, I had to show the WhatsApp conversation!
Avoid at all costs and go to a professional place, not in someone random house like here. All other reviews must have been bought.

An Absolute Gem.
We had an incredible stay at Le Vallaya, a 9-apartment hotel in Garavan, a quiet and beautiful residential area of Menton. Because it is slightly elevated, the views are stunning without the mountain climb. The location is perfect, within a 10 to 15-minute walk to both local and busier beaches, and just a 15-minute walk to Italy and even more beaches. It was also a 25 minute walk to old town Menton which we enjoyed daily.
Our apartment had a great layout, beautiful views, and a comfortable bed and pillows. The rooftop terrace is fabulous, featuring plenty of seating, loungers, parasols, and a tiny dipping pool.
The service is top-notch. Management is highly responsive, and Alex and Elena were wonderful every morning, always offering quick solutions with a smile. There is also a unique cave-like indoor space with workout equipment, a pool table, foosball, and an indoor pool.
Very eccellent location, service and quality . Perfect for Montecarlo and to enjoy the beautiful Menton. All ok … spacious apartment, comfortable and clean 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
we visited this place for two nights last October. we felt really save. the apartment was the perfect size, good bathroom and comfortable bed. the kitchen had everything it needed. Since it is located a bit in the hills we had a great view and it was really quiet at night. even though a car is useful to reach the center of menton, also without a car you can reach quite a lot of great restaurants by foot right at the beach.
in the lowest floor it has a pool table and lots of other games and stuff, also a spa area. we only used the pool table which was in great condition and fun to play.

Had a gift voucher for a treatment and got the 60 min massage with mixed oils (hot & cold) it was an amazing experience from beginning to end. The interior design is quite old school but as soon as you lay down on the massage bed, you are instantly Swift away to inner peace and the world kind of stops for a while.

It looked much better online than it really was. We booked a double-bed standard room, it was small but it was enough for one night. The pool area was great and very clean, breakfast was also satisfying and the overall location of the hotel is great.
Unfortunately, we had no shower gel and shampoo (and body lotion) in the bathroom, only one small bar of soap. We had no fridge, either! To be honest, we found it very disappointing because we had a tour over Italy and France we had no 3* stay without shower gel and a fridge. When booking it, we couldn't choose the location of our room, and finally we received it on the rear side of the building next to a busy road and the railway line. Consequently, our room was very noisy and we had no sound insulation. Above all, on Monday morning at 5.30AM we were woken up by the sound of hovering which lasted until 6.20AM. Ridiculous!
Our stay at the hotel for 11 days was wonderful) The green area and the pool were well-groomed and clean. Our room had a view of the sea and the garden. The room was newly renovated, the furniture is new, very cosy. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. We're glad we stayed at this hotel. We'll definitely come back again 🙂
We had a very pleasant stay.
The hotel has been completely renovated, but a few details of its turn-of-the-century charm have been preserved: the historic revolving door in the entrance area and the Art Nouveau glass roof above it. Inside, however, everything is modern.
The hotel is located in a park in the centre of Menton. The surrounding area can be explored on foot.
We did not have breakfast or dinner.
Great location. The hotel has its own garden, pool and parking. All were perfect for enjoying the day and there are lots of restaurants. Warning!! Make sure you book first because they are busy!
Cockroaches and zero responsibility

I had a terrible experience at L’Orangeraie and I want to warn anyone considering this place. A hotel’s true quality is shown when things go wrong, and this place
failed completely.
My stay was a disaster from the start. On the first night I found hair and dirt on the towel rail. I complained and they cleaned it, but the worst happened on the second night. I found a COCKROACH crawling directly on my clothes in the bathroom. I managed to film it and kill it. What shocked me most was that the next morning the staff removed the dead cockroach but left a dirty stain on the floor. They didn't even bother to clean the area properly.
I am terrified of cockroaches and couldn't stay in such unsanitary conditions. When I went to the reception to check out I tried to be fair. I told them they could keep the money for the two nights I stayed plus one extra night for the trouble, but I demanded a refund for the remaining nights. The manager just told me to write an email. When I followed up in person a few days later another manager was very passive-aggressive but explicitly promised that there will be compensation and I will get the email today.
It was another lie. Instead of a refund I received an email refusing to pay me back. The biggest problem here is that there is no specific person who actually handles your issue. You are constantly redirected to someone else and no one takes responsibility. They just keep pointing to some big boss above them. In their email they even claimed they offered to treat the room. Nobody offered me a room change or any real solution while I was there. And even if they had, who would stay in a room full of toxic spray after finding cockroaches on their clothes?
Even if you don't find a cockroach, the overall renovation is done very poorly. You will find a lot of dust, dirt in some places, uncomfortable mattresses, and a general feeling of a worn-out hotel. Avoid this place at all costs. They are dishonest and will do anything to keep your money.
Finally, I couldn't help but feel that if I were French or at least an EU citizen, I would have been treated with much more respect.
