I had a fantastic double spa experience here in September - massage and facial. Marjorie was my beauty expert. I have to say, that was the best facial treatment I ever had. Simply because my face skin was glowing for a month after. I never had such result before! I bought some of the product she used on me straight away but now I wish I bought all of what was used, because the result that came a couple days later amazed me. Writing this review because I want to let them know, I wasn’t able to find anything like that since.
This is inside Imperial hotel , Annecy, Beautiful and gorgeous place for the people, who want use a well ness center. It's little costly but worth.
One of my favorite place in Annecy perfect for a little moment of cocooning. Highly recommend anyway for a short séjour.
Hot Tub a bit cooler but was refreshing on a hot day, jets were not working properly either.

I stayed at the Rivage Hôtel & Spa Annecy during the MIFA Animation Festival, and it was an absolute haven. France was experiencing an unbearable heatwave at the time, but the hotel’s excellent cooling system and comfortable, cozy rooms made it the perfect escape from the scorching weather.
Here is why I would highly vouch for this hotel:
Location: It is within easy walking distance of the MIFA venue, which is incredibly convenient when you are rushing between screenings and events.
The View: Waking up to such a lovely, picturesque view of Lake Annecy was an absolute highlight of my mornings.
The Service: Coming from someone used to the exceptionally high standards of hospitality in India and Southeast Asia, I was thoroughly impressed. The staff across the board—from the front desk reception to the restaurant team and room service—were superb, attentive, and welcoming.
The hotel is clean, stylish, cool, and incredibly comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again for future festivals!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rivage Hotel & Spa Annecy and honestly struggled to find fault with anything.
The location is fantastic — peaceful and scenic by the lake, while still being an easy walk or cycle into Annecy town. The hotel itself feels modern, calm and luxurious without being pretentious.
Our room was beautiful, spotless, and extremely comfortable, with stunning views and thoughtful details throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the whole hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere.
The spa area was one of the highlights of our stay. Everything was clean, well maintained and genuinely relaxing after long active days exploring the area.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and very high quality food. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly, professional and welcoming, and every interaction felt easy and genuine.
We travelled with bikes and found the hotel ideal for an active holiday around Lake Annecy and the mountains.
Overall, it felt like one of those rare hotels where everything just works perfectly. We would happily return and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Annecy.

We stayed here for the first few nights after our wedding and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, with a clean, modern design, stunning lake views, and a relaxing atmosphere throughout.
We stayed in the penthouse, which was an incredible space with plenty of room to enjoy the view and unwind. The spa was excellent, the restaurant was very good, and the entire property felt thoughtfully designed and well maintained.
The location right on the lake is hard to beat, and waking up to those views each morning was a highlight of our stay. A lovely hotel and one we would happily recommend to anyone visiting Annecy.
Our family of four had a really great stay for 5 nights in mid July here.
The family suite we booked was spacious and clean and featured two separate bathrooms and toilets.
The indoor pool is large and very clean. The parking lot was large and always had spaces and was easy to park. The location was great, just a short drive or bike ride away from the bustle of old Annecy.
The only slight let down was the onsite restaurant. While the breakfast was fairly decent, the dinner was adequate at best.
Would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly come back again.

A very good experience thanks to a Wonderbox. The spa is located past the hotel and boasts a beautiful view. There's a locker for one person, and the hydrotherapy system is a nice touch.
A very warm welcome and a friendly team. We enjoyed a one-hour Indian treatment, perfect after our six-day trek—a truly well-deserved moment of relaxation. The spa is magnificent, the setting superb, and the atmosphere very relaxing. I highly recommend it!
We came to the spa last Friday for an hour, including two massages for my birthday. When we arrived at 9 am, the pool water was very cold, making it impossible to enjoy. The hammam was out of order, so we were crammed into the sauna (which was very small), the only heated room in the spa. The view is lovely, but the spa is very small, so there's not much to do if the water is cold and the hammam is out of service. Fortunately, the massages were good. After the massages, we practically had to make an appointment to use the shower or even the changing rooms (there were only two changing rooms in total). The receptionist even explicitly told me to hurry up and change, so I didn't dry my hair. We had booked a restaurant afterwards, so I went to eat with wet hair at the restaurant next door... I honestly felt like I was bothering her. The services were not adequate for the price; we spent over €600 on massages and meals. It's unacceptable not to have access to a heated pool, a hairdryer, or a changing room... Only 2 stars because the meal was very good and the staff were welcoming at the restaurant.

The hotel itself is very beautiful, with a pleasant atmosphere. We only stayed for one night, but overall the impression was positive. I would especially like to highlight the excellent service at check-in — the staff was very welcoming, professional, and efficient.
However, there are a couple of important points to be aware of. We booked a room on the third floor, and it was not mentioned anywhere that access is only by stairs, which made it quite inconvenient with luggage.
Also, the ceiling height in the bathroom was not specified. This was a real issue — the ceiling is extremely low, and even with average height it is impossible to shower standing up comfortably. I actually hit my head, and it made the experience quite uncomfortable. It feels unreasonable not to mention something like this.
If this information had been provided in advance, we would have easily chosen a different room.
On a positive note, the town itself is beautiful and lively. There are plenty of restaurants, a lovely lake, and it’s a perfect place to just walk around for hours and enjoy the scenery — everything around is very picturesque.
Very welcoming place, I found almost everything perfect. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive.
The only negative note concerns the SPA: we paid for the service in advance, but no one informed us that the steam room was not working. We received neither prior notice nor a refund.
Moreover, the SPA staff was almost non-existent and not attentive to guests. We had to wait for some time before being noticed and before receiving towels. The area was also quite cold and poorly heated.
In my opinion, in a property of this standard it is unacceptable to serve tea in reusable plastic cups, as it really detracts from the overall experience.
Apart from that, everything else was excellent: restaurant and breakfast were outstanding.
I visited to use the sauna and it was a lovely experience! The pool area has nice views of the lake. There is also complimentary water and tea. The sauna is quite small and has capacity for maybe three people, so you may have to wait a bit. There is a small tub of water to create steam and it smells amazing. When I went, the steam room wasn’t working so they charged me 20 euros, when it’s usually 30, which was nice.
The indoor pool has jet streams and there is a fun shower in the corner that changes temperature depending on the ‘theme’ you choose.. the second last button onwards is cold! It would have been nice to run back and forth from the sauna if I went at a quieter time..
I can’t speak French, nor do I have a French phone number, so I made my booking via email using google translate! I had no issues onsite either, everyone was lovely.

Missus went in for a pedicure and manicure plus colour. It took twice as long as it does in London but she enjoyed the company and the job was very well done.

Very bad service! I did the ‘Soin des Mains avec vernis semi permanent’ and it is totally not worthy. I paid 70eur for a super bad quality of manicure. The lady doing the manicure made an effort but the nail polishes were very, very old and have my nail full of marks and imperfections also because of that. I asked French manicure and the white lines are just a disaster, even I achieve better alone at home. I do not recommend this place!!!
I decided to go here after looking at reviews. I went to get the Le Kobido the 80 minutes. The facial massage was excellent but the soin du visage was horrible. The skin on my face looked and felt so bad. It made my skin more dry (if that's even possible).
I go to the Institut des Lys every time I’m in Annecy (every other month). It’s in the very city center, the atmosphere is really nice, welcoming and relaxing. I highly recommend this place for waxing (the personel is very gentle and the procedure is almost relaxing for me), manicure and Bali massage. One of the best french manicures with semi-permanent I’ve had.
I was visiting Annecy from the U.S. and was looking for a good masseuse. I had an awesome massage from Fyona. She was extremely professional and I left feeling relaxed and stress-free. Les Sens de Lys spa has a great atmosphere, it is quiet and comfortable and they use real candles in the rooms. Top notch. Thank you Fyona!
I can't get waxed elsewhere ever since i go here. The staff is so caring they really help you find the best care for you wether its massages or waxing or any other thing they offer and the products they use are all really gentle(speaking from a sensitive skin type of situation) and natural most 10/10 would recommend 👌

Incredible 1hr15 mins massage with Roseline! The intuitive approach means that the massage is adapted to what you need at that moment in time, and as a result I’m feeling much less tension - like I’m walking on a cloud! Gorgeous location, too!

I had a wonderful stay at the Imperial Palace Annecy. The hotel is beautifully located right on Lake Annecy, with stunning views and easy access to the lakeside walking paths. The room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay.
One of the highlights was the private sunset boat tour on the lake. Seeing the mountains, the crystal-clear water, and the changing colors of the sky during sunset was an unforgettable experience and one of the most memorable parts of my visit to Annecy.
Another outstanding experience was renting an e-bike directly from the hotel. The process was easy and convenient, and cycling around Lake Annecy was an amazing way to explore the area. The bike was in excellent condition, and the route around the lake offered spectacular scenery at every turn.
Overall, the combination of the excellent hotel, the private sunset boat tour, and the outstanding e-bike rental experience made this a truly exceptional stay. I would highly recommend the Imperial Palace to anyone visiting Annecy and would gladly stay here again.

If you are visiting Annecy, this is hands-down the best hotel to stay in. The location right on the lake is spectacular, and our suite was incredibly beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. What truly set our stay apart, though, was the world-class service. The concierge team—specifically Tony and Eliza—went completely out of their way to accommodate every single request we had with absolute grace. Highly recommend the Imperial Palace to anyone looking for a flawless experience.
Overall this was a 5 star experience, as expected. There is some building work currently taking place on the west side of the hotel which limits lakeside access to/from the town - this looks like a long-term project.
The gym is way too small for the size of hotel and room service was very disappointing the one and only time we used it.
But these are minor irritations during an otherwise exemplary 10 day stay.

I found Pure Vitality online by *PURE* chance (or perhaps destiny) and decided to take advantage of their very inexpensive introductory experience offer. To say I was profoundly transformed would be an understatement; I am forever changed, altered, shifted in the most amazing way. My 2-hour session put me into the deepest meditative state I have ever reached and now, two days later, I continue to feel the results of this cellular impact. I am riding a wave of bliss, and would recommend anyone to take the leap and book a session at Pure Vitality. I look forward to future journeys into bliss at this wonderful energy spa.
