Maya did a fantastic job cleaning up my pixie cut (coupe entretien + coiffage courts) during my recent visit to Vintage Coiffure. Despite the language barrier (my French is unfortunately non-existent and Maya speaks limited English), the communication worked out perfectly thanks to the helpful gentleman who greeted me and appeared to manage the salon. He was instrumental in helping translate what I was looking for.

The team seemed very professional and welcoming. I had initially asked for a honey-toned base with blonde highlights, aiming to avoid any orange tones. While the highlights were beautifully done and looked lovely, the overall color turned out a bit more orange than I had hoped. I returned a few days later for a retouch, and they kindly corrected it. However, after a few washes, the base color did shift slightly back toward an orange/bronze hue. I understand that sometimes this can happen with certain hair colors, but I would recommend keeping an eye on it. Overall, the experience was positive, and the team handled everything with great care.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this salon, whose reputation is, in my opinion, vastly overrated.
When I left the salon, my hair was straightened and the result seemed acceptable. But once I returned it to its natural state, curled and tied up as I usually wear it, the reality was quite different: the roots looked barely touched up, and the facial contouring, which I specifically requested, was practically invisible. Several people I know even asked me if I had actually been to the hairdresser, as the change was so imperceptible, except for a few lengths.
I tried to contact the salon several times to express my dissatisfaction. My calls went unanswered. I had to wait almost three weeks before finally getting through to someone and scheduling a follow-up appointment.
During this follow-up, I was told it was simply normal regrowth. An explanation that is hard to believe when the problem was already visible from the initial service. Presenting what looks like several centimeters of visible roots as simple regrowth after a few weeks is more a sign of denial than genuine professional analysis.
The touch-up, limited to facial contouring, unfortunately only made things worse. While I had requested a luminous and blended blonde balayage, I ended up with harsh, coppery and reddish lines, far from the expected standards for a service costing €215. The result lacks finesse, harmony, and above all, technical skill.
Beyond the result, it was also the salon's attitude that deeply disappointed me. I wasn't listened to, supported, or even considered. During the second appointment, I felt like a problem to be dealt with quickly rather than a client whose dissatisfaction deserved real attention. I even got the impression that the free touch-up was done reluctantly, as a necessary evil to minimize the cost.
I sincerely regret the €215 spent, the wasted time, and especially the state my hair is in now. At this price point, I expected genuine expertise in blondes, a harmonious balayage, and a noticeable result around my face for summer, as I've been doing for almost 20 years. I got the opposite.
This experience left me with a feeling of amateurishness, both technically and in the way they handled my complaint. I now understand the negative reviews I had read previously and unfortunately share the disappointment of those who were unhappy with their services.
I do not recommend this salon.

I had a disappointing experience at Skills Hairdresser in Annecy and cannot recommend their services for haircuts or single-color treatments. The entire process, from booking to payment, was frustrating. The booking platform was nearly unusable, forcing me to call, only to encounter impolite staff who were difficult to hear and seemed unavailable.
I requested a simple cut and color, but the hairdresser pushed a €600 keratin treatment instead, commenting that I had "too much hair" an odd complaint. The only thing they did well was a blow dry.
I’d advise avoiding this salon for any style changes and sticking to a blow dry if you must visit. The hairdresser’s rudeness and negativity were particularly off-putting, and while I rarely write reviews, this experience warranted one. I strongly discourage choosing this salon.
I came here with terrible hair, a disaster from another hairdresser salon. After some explanations, Stephane took over and managed to give me a perfect haircut. I entered the room hoping for some improvement, and left in exchange with a haircut that I love = a miracle, given the initial haircut.

Came here to try and fix my previous haircut. I brought pictures to show but felt like my stylist didn't look at them in detail and kept saying he understands. In the end I I don't think he understood what I wanted and I ended up with hair quite chopped up , way too short in parts hair, which will take me a while to grow to correct. I have straight short hair which probably requires more skills then usual to cut. I was really hoping I could find these skills with a master stylist.

A few years ago, a previous semi-permanent eyebrow makeup job was a complete disaster: the pigment had turned gray, and several professionals told me it was impossible to fix. Chahira, however, took the time to analyze my eyebrows and explained that she could work on them. She was right!
The result is simply magnificent. She managed to neutralize the gray where possible and achieved incredibly delicate work, with a very natural, hair-by-hair effect. Now, I receive nothing but compliments from everyone I know, and I hardly ever need to wear makeup anymore because my eyebrows now enhance my eyes so much.

The place is very pleasant and the hygiene is top-notch. I just regret the guilt-tripping I experienced on two points: I had to cancel an appointment, which was unpleasantly criticized even though I took the time to let them know. And secondly, this is the second place I've tried for eyelash extensions, and here they clearly didn't last as long as they did during my previous experience elsewhere, and again, I was criticized for that. Thank you for the welcome, but I won't be going back.
