Djalila Muna Gad★★★★☆
4 stars – good overall, but not quite the 4.8 experience I was expecting.
With more than 1,600 reviews and such a high rating, my expectations were naturally very high.
The bagel was definitely the highlight—fresh, flavorful, and something I’d happily order again. The espresso was also good. We also tried the coffee tonic, which was nice but not particularly memorable. The fresh orange juice had excellent-quality oranges, but unfortunately it wasn’t served cold.
The biggest disappointment was the fruit salad. The portion was quite small, and some of the fruit, especially the strawberries, was no longer fresh, which affected the overall taste.
The seating area is lovely with a relaxed atmosphere, and it’s a nice place to spend some time.
Service could also be improved. Some of our order was forgotten, and while it’s always nice to greet regular customers, we felt other guests were left waiting and received less attention.
Overall, I’d recommend this place for the bagels, pastries, and classic coffee, but based on our experience, I’d rate it closer to 4 stars than 4.8.
Andrew Schneider★★★★★
Excellent coffee. Pour over V60. BOSCON roasts their own beans.
Excellent brunch options. Sausage and toast were particularly good. Also the wrap was excellent.
The service was excellent as well. Flour was delightful and spoke incredible English and super considerate.
Jefferson Andrade★★★★★
We found this place while looking for an American-style breakfast near our hotel, and it ended up being one of our go-to spots. I’ve probably been here about six times in the past two weeks.
They have a great brunch menu where you get a full breakfast, coffee, orange juice, a refreshment, and even a dessert. The breakfast comes with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, avocado, cherry tomatoes—pretty much everything you’d want. Honestly, it’s a lot of food for around €18–19, and I usually end up sharing it with my daughter.
Food quality is great, and the value is hard to beat. They also have things like a bacon bagel, which was a nice find.
Service has been consistently great—very polite and attentive. We usually sit outside, and it’s a nice, quiet neighborhood, which makes the whole experience even better.
Also, their oatmeal cookie is really, really good—definitely worth trying.
Overall, this is a spot we’ve really enjoyed and will definitely come back to before we leave. It’ll be a regular stop for us anytime we’re back. Highly recommend.
Robert Simoiu★★★★★
Boscon Coffee Roasters is an excellent destination in Valencia for specialty coffee lovers who also want a high-quality breakfast. The space is modern and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to start your day.
The breakfast options were surprisingly tasty, and their set menus are a great deal, typically including coffee, a sweet treat, and a drink at a very reasonable price. The food is fresh and well-presented, perfectly complementing the overall dining experience.
The coffee is, without a doubt, the main highlight. The selection is diverse and of very high quality; we decided to test the same origin prepared as both a batch brew and a V60, and both were excellent. Since it is also a roastery, you can see the roasting equipment on-site and buy a wide variety of freshly roasted beans to take home.
I highly recommend this place for their expertise in the art of coffee and the quality of their service. It is a must-stop if you are looking for a great brunch and authentic specialty coffee.
Niya Hristova★★★★☆
Lovely breakfast and a pleasant brunch experience overall. The food was tasty and well presented, and the atmosphere was nice. However, there is still room for improvement in some areas such as service speed, attention to detail, and consistency. With a few changes, this place could become truly excellent.

Great place for a coffee and pastry. Also has good coffee empanadas and very friendly service. They even let you hang out on your computer and use their WiFi!

The first time I came I was greeted by the nicest barista. She was very patient and helpful in guiding me to what was good. It’s a very nice and calming environment in a very chill neighborhood. Only suggestion would be to add pancakes but that’s just personal preference.

Super cute!! Really nice ice latte for such a good price

Wow. Fantastic coffee. Good and hot, too. I almost accidentally ordered a carajillo, for breakfast! But switched to a cortada in time. 🙂

Super lovely owner. Cosy cute space. Very good prices. Good plant milk options, including barista style coconut milk which very few places offer in town. And also vegan blueberry croissants which are yummmmmyyy. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this coffee shop! I live nearby, and there are three other Syra locations around me, but this one is definitely the best ❤️ the atmosphere is always warm and welcoming: the staff are friendly, smiling, and genuinely care about their customers. The coffee is consistently delicious.
A special thank you to Millie! She makes, without exaggeration, the best coffee in the area. She’s always kind, attentive, and brightens up my day every time I visit.
Huge thanks to the whole team for such amazing service!

Both latte and iced americano are great! The espresso de hoy is “midnight”. The taste is more sour, which is perfect for iced americano. But a bit low flavor for latte. But the latte milk form is good. No seat in store. Togo only.

I was walking past and it looked inviting. The Cortado was excellent. Smooth, sweet and the barista was very helpful. The location is just enough - some beans, pastries and great espresso.

For your fix of morning coffee, look no further in Valencia. Syra has excellent coffee. It's a small outlet which focuses on good coffee and fresh pastries. Small menu but they get it right
Andjelina Predolac★★☆☆☆
It looks nice but it doesn't taste good. Was very disappointed with the taste of my iced latte after reading the great reviews. Tasted like cheap coffee. My friend had a matcha and we already saw by the colour of the powder that it's bad. Tasted like grass.

Very good coffee and matcha. Lovely place to sit in or outside to watch the streets in a pretty street of Valencia. Friendly barista too.

This is one of our go-to coffee spots, and a big reason is the people. Luz is amazing. Her coffee is always spot on, and she is genuinely warm, friendly, and so good at what she does. She makes you feel welcome the second you walk in. Juliana is just as lovely. Kind, attentive, and always smiling. The coffee is great, but the energy they create is what keeps us coming back. Highly recommend.

★★★★★
As someone who is very picky about coffee, I can honestly say this was my favorite coffee spot in Valencia.
The café latte and cappuccino were perfectly balanced, with great flavor and texture. One thing I especially appreciated was that they don’t automatically cover the coffee with chocolate powder. It lets the quality of the beans speak for themselves, exactly as it should.
The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and full of character. They also have beautiful artwork displayed inside, some of which is available for purchase, adding a unique and creative touch to the café.
The owners clearly love coffee and care about what they serve. The food was fresh and tasty, with great options to enjoy alongside your coffee. The service was friendly, warm, and genuine, making the whole experience even better.
I visited many coffee shops during my stay in Valencia, but Paper Cup matched my taste better than any of them. Excellent beans, consistently great coffee, fair prices, and a genuinely happy experience from start to finish.
If you appreciate quality coffee made by people who truly care about their craft, this place is absolutely worth a visit. ☕️🎨✨

I had a great experience at Paper Cup Specialty Coffee in Valencia. The coffee was exceptional—clearly made with high-quality beans and real attention to detail. You can really taste the care that goes into each cup, from the balanced flavors to the perfect extraction.
Overall, Paper Cup is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates specialty coffee. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in Valencia.

That’s what you call a perfect breakfast spot!
I’m genuinely impressed by how everything here is simply excellent. The coffee is among the best I’ve had in Valencia.
The food menu isn’t huge, but every dish feels carefully made, perfectly executed, and absolutely delicious. The Croque Madame is outstanding and an absolute must-try.
And the desserts are amazing too!
Overall, this is a fantastic place that I highly recommend visiting if you’re in Valencia.
P.S. They are dog-friendly and happily allow dogs inside, which is a wonderful bonus.🐶

If you’re looking to escape the Valencia heat, this is a wonderful place to relax. The café is cool, modern, stylish, and very clean, with a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff.
The menu is simple but has everything you need for breakfast or a light meal, including eggs, omelettes, fresh juices, and delicious freshly squeezed orange juice.
Whether you want to read a book, chat with a friend, or simply enjoy a coffee, it’s a great place to unwind. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back.

This charming little breakfast café, opened by Ukrainians, is a true hidden gem.

Fantastic place! I spent 10 weeks in Valencia and came here several times a week. Great coffee, nice music, delicious food, and lovely staff. I had great conversations every time I visited. They also serve one of the best empanadas I had during my time in Valencia. And you definitely have to try the cinnamon roll if you’re there it’s absolutely amazing!
Greg Crane★★★★★
Good spot with a nice coffee selection ☕ and solid breakfast options. I also really enjoyed their other drinks — it’s actually not that easy to find a good chai latte or hot chocolate in Valencia, and here they do it well. As for the food, don’t expect a full meal — it’s more of a typical light Spanish breakfast, like a tostada with toppings. Still, a great place for a relaxed morning stop.
Mila★★★★★
I had the best coffee here when i lived in Valencia. The service is amazing and they have many great menu options. Rodri, we will miss you! and of course all the other lovely staff ❤️ Also, the cinnamon roll is to die for 🤤
Jefferson Andrade★★★★★
I’ve walked by this little café a bunch of times and always wanted to try it, and I’m glad I finally did.
It’s a small, cozy spot with a really nice vibe—simple but inviting. I ordered the avocado toast with salmon, and it came with sunflower seeds, which I’ve never seen on a toast like that before, but it actually worked really well. It was delicious.
I also tried a flat white for the first time. I told the guy what kind of coffee I usually like, and he recommended it—he was very polite and helpful. The coffee was really good too.
Price-wise, it’s fair. I think I paid around 4–5 euros, which felt reasonable for the quality.
Overall, great little spot. Definitely glad I stopped in, and I’ll be going back.

Fun little community coffee shop located near the University. You can see they have many returning customers which says a lot.
Atmosphere: 5-maximizes the small space they have with a kitchen, coffee grinder and seating, amazing.
Service:5-efficient and kind. This cafe was very busy but she still managed to serve all her locals and new customers efficiently and with care.
Food:5-this is the part that really matters in a coffee shop, the cafe con leche was great. The drink was smooth with notes of Caramel and nuts. The milk was not over steamed but just right. The crepe was exactly what we asked for and the presentation was cute.
If you’re in the neighborhood make sure to stop by Cafe Colomer.

Super nice people and serve great coffee. If you're looking for an espresso then definitely you will be satisfied
SkaTer2k★★★☆☆
I’ve had better coffee but it was fine. They have really good doughnuts! The vibe is fine, most of the people were working. It’s lowkey connected to a hostel.
What I don’t like is that there is zero signal and 5G access, but if you want to connect to their wifi, you have to share your email with them. I also think the sitting areas could be better, there are mostly bar chairs. And I also don’t understand why they use plastic cups when you sit inside. I think it’s pointless and also not ecological for no reason.
Hector diaz perez★★★★★
I came here specifically for the cold brew and it did not disappoint. They had real cold brew and not that fake hot coffee with ice that some claim as cold brew. They alternate their choices of coffee so you have a different one in your visits. It's very good
Dara Bukhtoyarova★★★★★
This coffee shop is tucked away in a small alley, so I had no idea it was there until I found it accidentally! Unlike some other Syra coffee shops, this one has some sitting space, which is nice. It shares space with a hostel lobby, I think, and it’s a pretty cool atmosphere. The barista was great and we enjoyed our coffees on a rainy day.

Great little gem of a coffee shop in Valencia. My barista was such a lovely man and a top notch barista! Clean, fresh menu which offers a good range of drinks and snacks.
Great tasting coffee, which is not as strong as I normally like it, but still had a sweet, cocoa taste that is very welcoming for this kind of temperature.
Sokita Maro★★★★★
“I’ve been looking everywhere around Valencia for a genuinely good matcha and honestly most places were disappointing… until I found this spot. The matcha here is AMAZING smooth, rich, high-quality ceremonial taste, perfectly balanced and not overly sweet like most places. You can actually tell they care about the quality of what they serve.
And Carlos made the best matcha for me! Super kind, welcoming, and clearly knows what he’s doing. The whole experience felt cozy and authentic. Definitely my new favorite matcha place in the area. Highly recommend for real matcha lovers 💚”
Marian Taciuc★★★★☆
The flat white was decent, but the cappuccino here in Spain I think is made by a different recipe, they just pour a very aerated milk and put some cacao on top. Just take something else besides cappuccino.

Coffee lover approved 🤌, actually all Syra coffee shops I tried all around Valencia were really good. But want to mention this one in particular. The barista there has been particularly good. His name is Dave if I'm not mistaken, give this man a pay rise.
I've been there back in February, the 14th to be more precise (sorry it took so long to write this review), even if it was quite busy, Dave took his time with every coffee he brewed, and I must say, the coffee was great. On top of that, he gave me great recommendations for restaurants and other things around Valencia. He also took his time to help me choose some great coffee beans after asking what I generally prefer when it comes to coffee beans (it is not a small thing when you've got a busy morning, I really appreciate the effort). Will definitely come back every time I'll find myself in Valencia. Keep up the good work

Exquisite!!! I LOVE this place. Coffee is one of the rarest that i tried in specialty coffee shop that doesnt taste acidic but tastes like nuts - very well.
And what to say about the brownie - my god, it is pure heaven, not too sweety you taste the cacao and nuts.
David is very kind and chatty guy!
My fav spot in vlc.

High quality specialty coffee that also serves pastries. No seating, take out only. The flat white was good and this is more of a preference, but I wished there was more acidity to the coffee.

The best coffee, pizza and cheesecake near to Valencia train station. The coffee is absolutely delicious. There are different options to be chosen. If you are looking for a reliable, no-nonsense node to kickstart your day, Mora Caffe is exactly what you need. Located right by the bull arena and the train station, it’s perfectly positioned for anyone needing a functional, efficient morning routine.
Why it works:
• Minimalist Efficiency: This isn’t an over-engineered tourist cafe. It’s a cosy, scaled-down space that gets straight to the point.
• Value Proposition: The coffee and breakfast options—specifically the croissants—are priced exceptionally well. In a city where costs can fluctuate, finding a spot that offers consistent quality without a premium markup is a massive win.
• The Workflow Start: It’s the ideal environment to sit for a moment, hydrate, refuel, and recalibrate before heading into the rest of your day. It’s quiet enough to collect your thoughts but lively enough to feel connected to the city's early-morning rhythm.
Final Verdict: Mora Caffe is a textbook example of a high-utility local spot. It doesn't need to be flashy because it executes the basics perfectly. If you are near the station or the arena and need a clean, affordable, and welcoming start to your morning, this is your primary objective.

I passed quite a few coffee shops that just didn’t draw me in until I found La Droqueria. It is small, but with an amazing selection of drinks both hot and cold. My Cafe con leche was expertly made by Jane, who greeted local customers by name and made me feel at home as we discussed the Irish game of hurling. Essential Tips for Enjoying Coffee Near Mestalla
Navigating the coffee culture in Valencia, especially in the bustling area surrounding the stadium, requires a little local knowledge. Whether you are trying to avoid the rush or looking to save a few euros, understanding the rhythm of the neighborhood will significantly enhance your experience. Here is what you need to know before you order.
Check the Match Schedule First
The atmosphere around Mestalla transforms entirely on match days. If you are looking for a quiet place to read or work, avoid the two hours leading up to kickoff. Conversely, if you want to soak up the electric pre-game atmosphere, grab a spot on a terrace early, as they fill up incredibly fast with locals in white and black scarves.
Embrace the "Café con Hielo"
If you are visiting during the warmer months—which is most of the year in Valencia—you must try a "café con hielo." This is an espresso served with a glass of ice. You pour the coffee over the ice and add sugar if you wish. It is the most refreshing way to consume caffeine in the Spanish heat and a staple for locals.
Understand the Pricing Structure
In Spain, coffee is often priced differently depending on where you consume it. You will see prices for "barra" (standing at the bar), "mesa" (sitting at a table), and "terraza" (outdoor seating). To save money and drink like a true Valencian, stand at the bar for your morning espresso; if you need to sit and work, expect to pay a premium for the table service.
Look for "Tostado Natural"
Many traditional cafes in the area serve "torrefacto" beans, which are roasted with sugar to preserve them longer. This results in a darker, bitter taste. If you prefer high-quality specialty coffee, look for signs that say "100% Arábica" or "Tostado Natural." This indicates a natural roast without added sugars, common in the specialty shops on our list.
Don’t Skip the Pastry Pairing
Coffee culture in Valencia is deeply tied to baking. While a simple espresso is great, pairing it with a local pastry elevates the experience. Ask for a "fartón" (a sweet, elongated bun dusted with sugar, traditionally dipped in horchata but excellent with coffee) or a "croissant a la plancha" (a croissant pressed on the grill until crispy and caramelized).
