For many visitors to Seville, a morning walk through the lush pathways of Parque de María Luisa is the perfect way to start the day. The scent of orange trees, the shade of towering palms, and the sight of the grand Plaza de España create an appetite that only a proper Spanish breakfast can satisfy. Whether you are fueling up before exploring or recovering after a long stroll, the surrounding neighborhood offers a rich tapestry of culinary options.
The area bordering the park is a fascinating mix of traditional Sevillian life and modern gastronomy. You will find historic bars where elderly locals sip their morning coffee at the counter, standing shoulder to shoulder with tourists enjoying smashed avocado on sourdough. This blend of old and new means there is truly a table for every type of traveler and every level of hunger.
When we talk about breakfast in Seville, it is essential to understand the local customs. The traditional "desayuno" is often a simple affair involving a strong café con leche and a toasted mollete or "tostada" drizzled with olive oil and crushed tomato. However, the rise of brunch culture has introduced heartier plates, from eggs Benedict to fluffy pancakes, without losing the Andalusian charm.
Choosing where to eat near the park can be overwhelming, given the sheer density of cafés and bars in the El Porvenir and Huerta de la Reina neighborhoods. You want to avoid the tourist traps that serve frozen pastries and watered-down juice, and instead find the spots where the ingredients are fresh and the atmosphere is welcoming. A great breakfast here is not just about the food; it is about the unhurried pace and the people-watching.
As a local food writer and SEO strategist, I have spent countless mornings testing the menus in the streets radiating from the Glorieta de los Marineros. I have evaluated these establishments based on the quality of their coffee, the freshness of their ingredients, the warmth of their service, and their proximity to the park’s main entrances. This guide focuses on places that offer genuine value and an authentic taste of Seville.
The list below avoids the generic chains you can find in any city and instead highlights the independent cafés and classic bars that give this district its unique character. From hidden patios perfect for a quiet coffee to bustling terraces ideal for a long, social brunch, these are the spots that locals return to week after week. You can trust that these recommendations prioritize flavor and experience over hype.
Without further delay, here are the ten best places to eat breakfast or brunch near Parque de María Luisa, selected to ensure you start your day in Seville on a delicious note.

The best brunch in Seville.
Seriously.
It’s a cute little find but Mariquita Brunch is an absolute find.
They do a varied menu of basic toasts with various toppings, lots of salads, bagels, freshly baked empanadas, sandwiches pancakes and waffles alongside healthier poke bowls.
We had an eggs Benedict with shredded chicken which was delicious. We shared the American salad - oh my - strawberries and such a light dressing. We tried a ham and cheese empanada: didn’t really need it, but it was lovely. We also shared avocado on brioche with bacon.
Every single thing we had was excellent.
I tried a green juice which was great. I also had the Kombuchito lemon and ginger which was zingy and fresh.
I absolutely recommend this place. The staff were friendly, it’s clean and modern in style with nice loos as well.
Definitely a MUST find for brunch in Seville.
Minnette★★★★★
This is a GREAT place! Employees are friendly and the food is simply amazing! Everything we ordered was so good!! A plus is that food was delivered quickly. We were a bit tight on time, and that helped. Coffee was divine, the chocolate croissant is to die for and the toasts and sandwiches were incredible.

We came here for breakfast because of this café’s high rating. But, unfortunately, it didn’t live up to our expectations. My order was supposed to be spicy, but it turned out to be completely lacking in any heat and was absolutely cold. The matcha latte was practically just milk. And the waiter who served us didn’t seem friendly
Tatiana Mladenkova★★★★★
Such an amazing place found purely by accident! The most lovely service, great choice of drinks and food. We felt very welcomed and my son got nachos that weren’t on the menu as a kind gesture. I really appreciate the lady that took care of us🥰
Maija★★★★★
Amazing brunch experience. Such a lovely little cafe, nicely decorated with comfortable seating. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu has a wide range of options, including tailoring your own toast with multiple choices of bread type and fillings.
All the food was delicious. Very good quality ingredients, especially the bread, the salmon and the eggs.
Highly recommended!

A popular breakfast place with indoor and outdoor seating. The servers are very friendly and they try to accommodate any requests/changes to orders. The service was fast and the food did not disappoint. The eggs benedict was really good, the eggs were perfectly cooked, the bacon and hollandaise sauce tasted good together. The pancakes were warm and fluffy and delicious! The omelette was seasoned well and the Moroccan tea transported me back to Morocco.
Isi★★★★★
I had the Superfood Omelette, and I found it to be extremely fresh and filling. I also ordered the red detox, which was refreshing and tasty. Enrique’s customer service is top notch; he is very warm and friendly. The outdoor seating is great. I’d definitely recommend this place and I would come back here again!
Zahira Moukhlis★☆☆☆☆
The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, but unfortunately that was the only positive part of the experience. The food had almost no flavour and was very bland. The coffee also had a strange, unpleasant taste. To make matters worse, the egg dishes served during brunch had a very strong smell, which made them difficult to enjoy. Overall, the restaurant looks nice, but the quality and taste of the food were very disappointing.

We had an absolutely amazing breakfast at Billy Brunch! The food was fantastic, but what really stood out was the incredible service. The gentleman who served us was outstanding, especially with our children. He was so friendly, welcoming and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.
We would definitely recommend Billy Brunch to anyone looking for a great breakfast and excellent service. We will 100% be going back again! Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable. 🙌🍳🥓

Absolutely outstanding brunch experience in Seville!
We visited Billy Brunch on a beautiful morning in Seville and it instantly became one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere, stylish decor, and mouthwatering menu had us excited.
The food was exceptional — generous portions, fresh ingredients, and perfectly executed dishes. The pancakes were fluffy and decadent, the Eggs Benedict had that perfect runny yolk, and the avocado toast was elevated with delicious toppings. Everything was packed with flavor, and they had great options for different dietary preferences too. The coffee was strong and smooth — exactly what we needed to start the day right.
But what truly made our visit special was our incredible server, Rocio. She was amazing from start to finish! So friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. Rocio made us feel genuinely welcome, checked in at the perfect moments, and had the warmest smile the whole time. Her service went above and beyond — she made our meal feel personal and extra enjoyable. Thank you, Rocio!
Billy Brunch is a must-visit if you’re in Seville. Whether you’re craving all-day breakfast, healthy options, or something indulgent, this place delivers on every level. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Andalusia.
Highly recommend — 10/10!

Perfect spot for brunch, with options for every taste, both savory and sweet. They also offer many vegetarian options for savory dishes. It’s located in a central area of the city and is small but well-designed. There are seats both indoors and outdoors, making it perfect for a meal that’s a little different from the usual. The service was reasonably fast, and all the staff were kind and polite. I highly recommend it.
Hannah Balogun★★★★★
I visited Moya today for breakfast, and it was amazing!! Not only was the cafe really aesthetically pleasing and beuatiful, the food was amazing, the drinks were great, the vibes were nice, the staff was amazing, especially Jara. She was really friendly, accomodating, and sweet.
Overall, amazing vibes, I would definitely come back! I got the waffle, eggs, avocado, and bacon, and just a great start to my day overall. Thank you, Jara and Moya once again for your great hospitality.
Sanne★★★★★
We absolutely loved Moya — so much that we came here every single day during our week in Sevilla. My brother had recommended it from a previous trip, and he was absolutely right.
I ordered the Açaí Bowl every morning, he always took the Tropical Smoothie Bowl, and another in our group went for the hummus avocado toast. All of it was consistently delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The coffee was also really good — we tried both regular‑milk and oat‑milk cappuccinos (the small ones) and both were excellent.
The juices were a bit on the sour side for my taste, but everything else was perfect.
The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. By the end of the week, they didn’t even need to ask for my order anymore — they remembered it.
The vibe isn’t traditional Spanish; it’s more of a Bali‑style, pink, “Instagrammable” brunch spot. Not usually my type of atmosphere, but the food is absolutely amazing, so it didn’t matter at all.
Truly highly, highly, highly recommend. One of our favourite breakfast places in Sevilla.
Pieter Cools★★★★★
What a pleasant surprise to discover near our hotel. A vibrant place with pink accents that immediately lightens up your day. We took the waffle with omelette and avocado and the açaí bowl. Both were freshly made and delicious. But the real star was the coffee, a Burundi origin coffee with nice floral notes and a pleasant non bitter finish. Will come back here tomorrow!
Sonia Petrini★★★★☆
Lovely spot in a small street 🙂 exactly what I was looking for. The chai latte had the perfect sweetness and temperature, and the corn fritters were good, although the avocado could've been better. I had no problem finding a place to eat, and it was not too crowded despite being Sunday. Overall very good experience! Service was very welcoming.

Cindy, Realtor & Travel Lover★★★★★
If you’re looking for the best brunch in Seville, Milky Way deserves a spot on your list. From the food to the service, everything was excellent.
My daughter ordered the Energizer Açaí Bowl and rated it a 10/10. The pistachio pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, the matcha tea was perfectly prepared, and the Caprese burrata sandwich was fresh, filling, and delicious. My caramel macchiato was the perfect complement to brunch.
What made the experience even better was the customer service. We had just arrived in Seville and were waiting for check-in at our Airbnb. The staff graciously welcomed us and our luggage, making us feel comfortable and cared for from the moment we walked in.
For anyone searching for a top-rated brunch restaurant in Seville with great coffee, açaí bowls, specialty drinks, pancakes, sandwiches, and exceptional service, Milky Way is an easy recommendation. The fact that we ate everything before remembering to take photos says it all.
M Ra7bi★★★★☆
I visited this place for breakfast. The space is large, clean, and operates on a self-service system where you order via QR code and pay directly, which is quite convenient. They offer a good variety of food options.
I ordered a flat white, but the coffee was not very well executed. I believe there is room for improvement, both in the choice of beans and the preparation.
The food, however, was very delicious and clearly made with care. The staff were also very friendly.
I am giving this place 4 stars mainly because the coffee could be improved.
Harsh Patel★★★★☆
Our first brunch stop of the day and we had planned ahead with a reservation. Seated right away and ordered conveniently via phone.
Here's what we ordered:
Choco Acai Bowl: Pretty mid overall. The acai came out a bit watery, though the housemade peanut butter was a saving grace and absolutely delicious.
Caprese Panini: The best burrata I've ever had. Perfectly crispy sandwich with a fresh and flavorful combination of ingredients. A must order.
The bowls have room to improve but the panini more than made up for it. Worth a visit for that alone!
starczynski★★★★★
One of the best breakfast I had in Seville. Lots of options even do vegans and vegetarians. Smoothie bowls, sandwiches, bagels! You get good food for low price!
Try pickles, they are so good!
Dinesh Patel★★★★★
The restaurant from outside looked appealing, and once inside, very clean and great atmosphere.
We being vegetarian, were not sure, but very quickly Manuel and Carmen quickly assured us, they will customise to our requirements.
We ordered off menu, and each time quality was great. Panini, croissants, bagels
We returned here every morning for 5 days for our breakfast, greeted very warmly by everyone.
No lunch as would not be in the area after breakfast.

They have lots of breakfast options for everyone in your group. They have really healthy light options like bowls and they also have eggs if you want something more filling. All the fruits were fresh. Our drinks were excellent as well. They have a very cute indoor seating. When we came it was cold so maybe they have outdoor seating also when weather is better. We visited for Sunday breakfast at opening time to avoid the busy period. We have visited the Barcelona site 2 years earlier and were pleased to recognise the same style, menu and details in Sevilla. The Eggs Benedict is lovely as are the fluffy pancakes. However, a whole portion can be a struggle to finish for one person as they are quite thick and the portion size is huge for a sweet plate of food! The avocado toast was also enjoyed and we loved the sheet of chia that was cleverly incorporated into the dish! Drinks are also good with a decent selection of hot and iced coffees to kickstart the day.
Ankur Verma★★★★★
Finally, we ended up going to this place that was really close to our hotel. It was recommended by a friend of ours, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best places to just relax and unwind. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, the vibes were amazing, and the food was genuinely good too. After a long day, it was exactly the kind of spot we needed.
And the best part — they had free internet finally! The staff also spoke English, which made everything so much easier and more comfortable for us. Overall, we had an amazing time there and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a chill and cozy place to enjoy good food and relax.

Great brunch place with variety of options in the menu. The superfood omelette (spinach, kale, parsley) was very delicious served with tasty sourdough bread and it is generous in portion! Coffee was average in taste, could have been better.
Next time I will definitely try out their fluffy pancakes which also looks amazing!

Highly recommend pancakes and french toast if you want sweet
Pistachio latte was delicious

My favourite breakfast / brunch place in Seville! The food is amazing and a good price. It tastes so fresh and there are English menu’s if needed. The staff also speak English which is very helpful and there are lots of good food options available. Sometimes it can take a while to pay if the place is busy but I definitely recommend it (especially the mascarpone pancakes and orange juice). It is also worth noting that it can get busy quite early on in the day so if you’re coming for breakfast, I recommend coming as soon as it opens to avoid queues.

For two days in a row went for brunch there. Saturday was bit busier so had to wait in line for about 10 min but it was definitely worth the wait. Portions great, menu big and actually interesting and representation amazing. Highly recommend it and cannot wait to come back.

We had a wonderful breakfast experience at La Mala Brunch! We customized their Eggs Benedict toast by asking them to remove the bacon, and it was absolutely amazing with its sauce and bread. The pistachio cream croissant was also really good. Based on the reviews, we ordered the mascarpone pancake, and it was delicious too. In short, no matter what you order here, it is truly flavorful. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and solution-oriented. A fantastic breakfast spot in Seville that I highly recommend without hesitation!

Excellent brunch at La Mala Brunch!
We had several breakfasts there during our stay and everything was absolutely perfect. The place is modern and pleasant, although it can get a bit noisy during busy hours, which also shows how popular the restaurant is.
The menu is very varied, with both indulgent and healthy options: pancakes, bagels, bowls, brunch burgers, fresh smoothies… it’s hard to choose because everything looks delicious.
The products are fresh, beautifully presented, and the portions are generous.
A real favorite in Seville, both for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. This place truly deserves its excellent Google rating. We would definitely recommend it and gladly come back!

During my stay in Seville, this hidden gem was right in front of the apartment we rented. I initially stopped by for a coffee, but the menu looked so appetizing that I decided to order the club sandwich as well, and it was amazing! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A very cool spot with excellent food and coffee. Highly recommended!

We found this vibrant cafe, tucked into a street near our hotel. A perfect place to stop for fresh, healthy food with such a variety! We visited twice and would recommend. Really sets you up for a great start to a busy day. The food and coffee were excellent and the service quick, considering options and variety being prepared. A busy corner but we only waited 5 mins for a table to be cleared. Staff were so friendly and thanks to the Irishman who encouraged me to speak in Spanish! We’ll visit again on a future trip. Disfrutes… give it a try!
Savannah Cooper★★★★★
What a cozy cutie vibe, not the mention the food was very yummy too! We shared an açaí bowl, the Mediterranean tostada, and mango bagel sandwich. All were super delicious and had a great presentation. The golden latte felt like it was made of tumeric and milk, which was not for us, but they had many other drinks. The staff were also very kind. A good place for locals and tourists as they had an English menu and were understanding with my rough Spanish.

Foods were absolutely delicious. The person who served us was very kind and friendly. If you’re looking to enjoy a tasty and relaxing brunch in a cozy, boutique spot on a quiet street, I would definitely recommend this place.

We had the pleasure to enjoy a breakfast at Chia. The quality of ingredients is great, both for sweet and salty options. The place is tiny but comfortable and the two guys managing are making their best to give the best experience to the people on the inside. No queue in front of the place, they will accomodate you only if there is space to give everyone the best experience
Tips for Enjoying Breakfast Near Parque de María Luisa
To make the most of your morning meal in this beautiful part of Seville, it helps to understand the rhythm of the city and the logistics of the neighborhood. A little local knowledge can save you from long waits, ensure you get the best table, and help you order like a regular. Whether you are an early riser or prefer a late brunch, these practical tips will enhance your dining experience and help you navigate the area with confidence.
1. Know the Local Timing
Spaniards generally eat breakfast later than many Northern Europeans or Americans. While some cafés open as early as 8:00 AM for commuters, the prime brunch rush usually hits between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. If you want a quiet table and fast service, aim to arrive before 10:30 AM or after 1:30 PM when the first wave has cleared out.
2. Order a "Tostada" the Right Way
If you visit a traditional bar, do not just ask for toast. The Sevillian way is to order a "media" (half) or "entera" (full) tostada with "aceite y tomate" (olive oil and crushed tomato) or "jamón" (cured ham). Specify if you want "pan de mollete" (a soft, flat roll) or "pan de pueblo" (rustic country bread) for the most authentic texture.
3. Combine Indoor and Outdoor Seating
While sitting on a sunny terrace near the park is idyllic, the heat can be intense even in the morning during summer months. Look for venues that offer a mix of shaded outdoor tables and air-conditioned interiors. This allows you to enjoy the atmosphere without overheating, especially if you plan to linger over a second coffee.
4. Bring Cash for Traditional Bars
While most modern brunch spots and specialty coffee shops near the park accept credit cards, some of the older, family-run bars may have a minimum spend for card transactions or operate on a cash-only basis. Carrying a €20 note ensures you won’t miss out on a classic mollete at a historic counter because you lack physical euros.
5. Walk Off Your Meal in the Park
One of the greatest advantages of eating in this area is the immediate access to green space. Do not rush to call a taxi after eating. Instead, take a leisurely digestive walk through the Parque de María Luisa. It is the perfect way to enjoy the fountains and shaded paths while avoiding the midday crowds that gather at the Plaza de España.
The neighborhood surrounding Parque de María Luisa offers more than just a meal; it provides a window into the daily life of Seville. By stepping just a block or two away from the main tourist thoroughfares, you will discover patios filled with the clinking of coffee cups and the chatter of friends. The quality of the bread, the richness of the olive oil, and the care put into the coffee here reflect a deep cultural pride in starting the day well.
Whether you opt for a minimalist specialty coffee and a pastry or a full spread of eggs and Iberian ham, you are participating in a cherished local ritual. Take your time, soak in the atmosphere, and let the flavors of the morning set the tone for the rest of your Andalusian adventure. Buen provecho.
