Saint-Tropez evokes images of sun-drenched terraces, superyachts in the harbor, and long, leisurely lunches that stretch into the evening. While the town is famous for its Provençal cuisine and fresh seafood, the dining scene has evolved to embrace a rich tapestry of global flavors.
For Muslim travelers, residents, and food enthusiasts who prioritize halal dining, navigating the glamorous streets of this Riviera gem can initially seem challenging. The town’s reputation for traditional French gastronomy often overshadows the diverse culinary options available just beyond the main port.
However, a vibrant and growing selection of eateries now caters specifically to halal dietary requirements. From aromatic Middle Eastern grills to modern fusion concepts, the options are more varied and sophisticated than ever before.
This guide is designed to eliminate the guesswork from your culinary journey. We have curated a list of establishments that offer verified halal meat options or entirely halal menus, ensuring you can enjoy the luxury of Saint-Tropez without compromising your values.
Whether you are looking for a quick, high-quality kebab after the beach or an elegant sit-down dinner with North African flair, there is a table waiting for you. Here is our handpicked selection of the best halal-friendly restaurants in and around Saint-Tropez.

This is really a great restaurant on a narrow side street of the port in St. Tropez. Wonderful atmosphere, lighting and delightful Moroccan soundtrack in background.
Couscous dishes were fabulous and Moroccan desserts assortment was fantastique. Great wine list including Provence and Bordeaux reds. Full bar. Great staff, French and English spoken (and menus). Highly recommend.

The best oriental restaurant in Saint Tropez. The food is exceptional, great wine selection, signature cocktails are a must try.
My advice is to stay after dinner, shift to the tables in front of the Dj set and stay for drinks, the atmosphere changes a lot later on the night. The service is impeccable, extremely attentive, funny and welcoming. Best experience in Saint Tropez so far.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the food quality was very good. However, one area that could be improved is the ordering experience. The staff seemed quite focused on encouraging us to order more dishes than we realistically needed, rather than first understanding our appetite or group size. It felt a bit like there was pressure to increase the order instead of helping us choose what was best for our table. A more customer-focused approach with honest recommendations would make the dining experience much more comfortable. Overall, it was still a good experience, and I would happily visit again.

Beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere! We ate extremely well, the food was excellent, and the music made the evening really fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend Beyti if you’re looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine. This wonderful family-run restaurant serves incredibly fresh, flavourful food that is among the best I’ve had. The service is warm and attentive, the location is great, and every dish was absolutely delicious. You can really feel the passion and hospitality behind this place. A true gem that I’ll definitely be returning to.

Really good food, patient service that listens to my food allergies and not like most people, give me an allergen card and then do no more. Thank you for taking the time to listen to the allergies I have and for assuring me that it's not a problem and you will adapt.
Excellent authentic food.

Excellent Lebanese cuisine in a stylish new restaurant with friendly attentive service. A/C good in the heat, too! Generous portions that were all delicious. Looking forward to returning!

We had such an incredible meal here. Everything was so fresh and every dish was phenomenal. We were a family of 8 (9 if you count our 1.5 year old) and we all enjoyed every bite. The service was wonderful, everything came fast and the space was a calm oasis away from the busy streets of St Tropez! We would eat here everyday of our trip if we would.

Very nice restaurant and the service excellent, but unfortunately the food wasn’t very delicious, the octopus was very gummy and the meat was tasteless, and the beef wasn’t cooked properly. It was very chewy and required a lot of chewing.
Overall, the service was excellent and the restaurant was lovely, but the food could definitely be improved.

We had lunch and the best indian curries we have eaten in a long time. We had the pompadom & chutneys, mixed platter, lamb vindaloo and fish marsala, both perfectly spiced and right amount of heat when we asked for spicy. Air conditioning inside, service was excellent and attentive. Particularly liked they way they said not to hang my handbag on the back of my chair for potential theft. Highly recommend the food and wonderful service.

A truly wonderful dining experience.
The gentlemen running the restaurant were incredibly kind, gracious, and wonderfully old-school in the best sense. Even though I didn’t have a reservation, they were thoughtful enough to find a seat for one, which I genuinely appreciated.
The food was exceptional, the prices were fair, and the service was impeccable throughout.
The only unfortunate part of the evening had nothing to do with the restaurant itself. A group of fellow Indian diners arrived and behaved quite loudly, repeatedly calling out to the staff in an abrupt manner (“Boss, how much time?” and similar remarks). The staff even offered to move me to another table.
As an Indian myself, I believe we represent our country wherever we travel. A little patience, courtesy, and respect towards hospitality staff go a long way. The restaurant deserves praise not only for its excellent food and service but also for the professionalism and composure with which the team handled the situation.
Highly recommended and I look forward to visiting again.

All in all, I recommend this place.

Top notch establishment. The samosas were crispy and authentic. The naan bread (cheese and garlic) were cooked to perfection. The rice and entrees were so tasteful and rich. Joseph and the other waiters were super friendly and were patient with my lack of French. Joseph does this cool spin of the serving platter too. Came back for lunch the following day! Thanks for a great experience!!

I’m not usually crazy about Middle Eastern cuisine or couscous, but Kasbah des Délices was well worth the visit. We were a party of six, and the owner personally came to greet us and take care of our table. Plate after plate of food kept coming, each dish more succulent than the last. The flavors were rich, comforting, and beautifully presented. The location is fantastic, right at the marina, making the whole experience even more special. If you’re in Saint-Tropez and want to try something authentic with warm hospitality, this place delivers.

I had the pleasure of dining at La Kasbah des Délices in Saint-Tropez, and the couscous was an absolute delight! The dish was a perfect harmony of flavors, with fluffy, light semoule that melted in the mouth, paired with tender, slow-cooked meat and vibrant, fresh vegetables. The spices were expertly balanced, offering a warm, aromatic journey that felt authentically Moroccan. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the experience, with its charming decor and welcoming vibe, making it the ideal spot for a memorable meal. The staff were attentive and friendly, elevating the entire dining experience. I can’t wait to return for another plate of their exquisite couscous! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Saint-Tropez looking for a true taste of North African cuisine.

This is one of the coolest fast-food restaurants we have been to (by far!). The staff is so friendly and cool. The guys fulfill every dream even into the late night hours. You’ll see that in Saint tropez after midnight almost every food place is closed, but fortunately Chez Sabrina stays open until early morning! Baba (one of the owners) is so nice. And they have vegetarian options! Roman will play great (French) music and you can dance and eat there. It was awesome! Will definitely come back!!

Lovely garden setting and great hospitality at Maison Revka! The waiter was super attentive and checked in on us frequently. Food-wise, the truffle pizzetta was honestly amazing and an absolute must-order, along with the potato crispy bites with tuna tartare. I wasn't as crazy about the seared tuna main course, but that comes down to personal taste. It is quite expensive, but the overall meal and ambiance were very enjoyable.

The best late night food if you want to eat something Asian and good at the same time. The food is amazing, quick and simple. Can't ask for more for such a small restaurant with a little outdoor area seating and a very friendly service.

Found this spot searching for Asian food on Google as we needed a break from Italian and French food. The owner was super friendly. The food was so good. The poke bowl was amazing. We also ordered yakisoba and a few rolls. All were good. There are only a few tables outdoor so it’s not much of an ambiance, but it’s great for a quick, casual meal. Would come again!

Very rude and unprofessional service. We waited for someone to take our order, but no one came. When we finally got up to leave and explained that we had been waiting, the staff member dismissively replied, “Alright, goodbye.” This is no way to treat customers. We stumbled across here whilst visiting the area and my god. Hands down one of the best dishes I’ve had, the chef is an absolute gem! And this is someone who has been to many a michelin star restaurant in London and Tokyo. I had the sweet potato and pulpo dish and my husband had the steak.
Jelena Brdjic★☆☆☆☆
We had been looking forward to our dinner at Lorette and had made a reservation in advance.
The restaurant itself is absolutely charming and beautifully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere. The steak was good and cooked well. Unfortunately, the fries were by far the worst I’ve ever had. Even more disappointing was the rosé wine. Considering you’re in the South of France, where it’s almost impossible to get a bad rosé, this was surprisingly the worst one we had during our entire trip.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. After being seated, we were completely ignored. I had to call the waiter over twice, and each time he simply replied, “I’ll be right there.” Unfortunately, “right there” turned into the story of the entire evening. He never once came to ask if everything was okay, didn’t clear away empty plates or unnecessary dishes, and we constantly felt like we had to chase him for attention.
At one point, I even asked him where he was from. He told me he was from Argentina. I then politely asked why he seemed to be in such a bad mood, hoping it might lighten the atmosphere. Instead, he gave us a rather dismissive answer and offered us a complimentary coffee. While the gesture was appreciated, it didn’t change his attitude or the overall service for the rest of the evening. To be honest, he seemed far more concerned about making sure his hair looked perfect than actually taking care of his guests.
It’s a real shame because the restaurant has so much potential and a beautiful atmosphere. Sadly, the poor service overshadowed what could have been a lovely dining experience.

Essential Tips for Finding Halal Food in Saint-Tropez
Navigating the culinary landscape of a luxury destination like Saint-Tropez requires a bit of local know-how. While the curated list above provides excellent starting points, understanding the local market dynamics will help you dine with confidence. Here are some expert tips to ensure you always find a satisfying meal that meets your dietary standards.
Always call ahead to verify the current halal status, as restaurant ownership and supply chains can change between seasons. The influx of tourists during July and August often leads to extended hours, but it can also mean that popular halal items sell out quickly, so making a reservation or ordering early is wise. While Saint-Tropez itself has limited dedicated halal butchers, many restaurants source their certified meat from larger neighboring cities like Toulon or Nice, so do not be afraid to ask about the origin of the meat. For a more casual experience, look for Lebanese and Moroccan eateries, as these cuisines naturally offer a higher volume of halal-friendly dishes. Finally, if you find yourself in a traditional French restaurant with friends, focus on the abundant vegetarian options and fresh Mediterranean seafood, which do not require halal certification but are perfectly permissible and delicious.
The beauty of Saint-Tropez is that it offers a sensory experience that goes far beyond the plate. By choosing the right restaurants, you can immerse yourself in the town’s legendary atmosphere while enjoying meals that align perfectly with your lifestyle.
Whether you are ending a day at Pampelonne Beach with a spiced grill or enjoying a late-night shawarma after exploring the old port, the options are there for those who know where to look. Bon appétit and safe travels.
