That's dishonest! After a decent first experience with a semi-permanent manicure, I booked a second appointment 15 days later for a foot massage, the "spa" treatment, for €50, recommended by one of the two practitioners, which lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes.
After a foot scrub, my feet were covered with a bag containing a moisturizing product for about 15 minutes. Then, a short massage to help the product absorb. The young woman informed me that I wouldn't be getting a manicure because I had a semi-permanent manicure.
I found the service somewhat rushed, and when it came time to pay, I realized I wouldn't be getting a discount (no manicure). I paid the €50, mentioning that I felt the service was a bit expensive. Once I left, I saw the time and realized that the service, initially scheduled for 1 hour and 15 minutes, had only lasted 35 minutes! I went back to express my confusion, to which the young woman simply replied that's just how it is... Needless to say, I told them that was the last time I would ever go to that establishment. Avoid it!

I went to reception to book an appointment for eyebrow waxing and tinting. Unfortunately, in the meantime, another lockdown was implemented. My appointment was canceled, and as soon as the lockdown ended, I called the salon again, but they couldn't reach me. I waited for them to call me back to possibly reschedule, but this never happened. I also learned in the meantime that only those booking more expensive services were being contacted. Sorry if I only came for a €30 service 😅
Luckily, there are still some professional people in the area.

I booked an appointment by message, requesting a price estimate for a full balayage. Lucile quoted me around €250, including an €80 deposit, which I paid without any problem.
On the day of the appointment, after the service was finished, the hairdresser told me the final bill was €311, significantly more than the agreed-upon price. I objected, and Lucile eventually intervened, confirming that the price would remain as initially quoted.
Regarding the service itself, I am extremely disappointed. My appointment was scheduled from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm, yet I left an hour and a half early. The result is far from what I expected: the balayage is a complete disaster, with visible lines and patches. My hair was in better condition before arriving at the salon than when I left.
I sincerely regret this experience. Between the lack of transparency on the price and the quality of the service, I will not be returning and unfortunately I do not recommend this salon.
I rarely leave reviews, but I was blown away by Lucile's attentiveness and her balayage technique. I was terrified when I arrived, but she knew how to reassure me and adapt to my request. The result is far beyond what I imagined, which is something that very rarely happens to me at a hairdresser!

not only you get the most wonderful skin treatment (facial) , you will ever experienced but the massage of the face, neck, shoulder and hands is to die for!!!! I knew the esthetician from her salon back in Plerin and had no problem to drive 1 h 15 to get an appointment with her. If you live in st Malo , you are so lucky, I would just go every month!!! They also offer lots of other beauty services beside skincare.
Not only did the application of semi-permanent nail polish give me hands that were more beautiful than ever before, but I also had a delightful time with Anne-Sophie and Tessa, who were sparkling and full of joie de vivre to share with great tact.
The staff were welcoming, however, I came in for a polish removal and reapplication 8 days ago and the polish is already chipped and cracked on several fingers. For a salon that's twice as expensive as all the others around, I don't think that's acceptable. I've always had semi-permanent polish last 3 weeks to a month without any problems when I get it done elsewhere. A bad first impression at this salon.

I had such a wonderful experience at Phytomer Spa Émeraude. I had made a mistake with the timing of my voucher redemption, but the team was incredibly accommodating and allowed me to redeem it anyway, which I really appreciated. Communication was excellent throughout, including following up with me beforehand.
I had my massage with Fabiola and asked for a firm massage. She absolutely delivered! The pressure was exactly what I wanted and I felt amazing afterwards. Such a lovely way to finish my time in Saint-Malo. Highly recommend! ✨
Off the path from Saint Malo, I expected so much more. Usually we go to Les Grand Thermes Spa and we love every second of it. Yes this Emeraude spa is clean, spacious. Went with my husband and we were not allowed to stay together in the relax room. Out appointment were back to back and we had started chit chatting until he was asked to step out and wait for his massage somewhere else. Really upsetting. I ended up stepping out too and waiting with him in a dark mini nook that serves as waiting space. Asked for a coffee and did not get served until I came back in the relax room to wait for my massage. So I even if my massage is great, my experience has been totally dampened by the staff. I don’t recommend.

An absolutely exceptional experience from beginning to end. I went with my mother and brother for a one-hour massage. We received a warm welcome, the massages (each one different for each of us) were wonderful, the scents were divine, and all of this took place in a soothing setting for optimal relaxation. I booked an appointment purely because I passed the salon by many times and loved the interior decorations as it is incredibly beautiful and welcoming.
The hairdresser was super nicer and helpful on the phone even if my French is not so perfect and I looked very much forward to my appointment.
She was as nice in person and I enjoyed my time with her very much. I believe that it was one of the best conversations I have had in this city by far. I left with beautiful hair and received all day long compliments about it as she did an excellent job.
I would like to add that my hair is not an easy one to cut or to style so I am always a little scared about what hairdressers will do with it, but I was in such good hands and love my new cut.
Having recently moved to Saint Malo I am really happy to have found a hairdresser where I can go to without any second thoughts. 🙂

Everything went well thanks
After six months of deliberation, I'm finally posting this review.
Having been a regular customer of Alexandra, I returned at Christmas 2025 to have my wedding highlights redone, which I'd had done a year and a half earlier at another salon. But this time, I was assigned to a new stylist… and it was a disaster.
Between the detailed account of her breakup throughout the entire appointment, a cut and highlights completely different from what I'd asked for, and then the infamous "it's all in your head, it's the fluorescent lights that are giving you that impression," the experience was humiliating from beginning to end.
I left the salon in tears. In the midst of postpartum, I simply wanted to feel like a woman again. No such luck.
The worst part of it all is the complete lack of self-reflection afterward. They told me I hadn't been clear in my request, yet, as the attached photos showed, it was perfectly clear. In return, they "graciously" offered me a toner; explaining that from now on, if I wanted a decent result, I would have to come back every month and spend €100 on new toners at the salon to fix their mistakes... Just another way to make money, you might say.
Obviously, I won't be setting foot in that salon again, and I can only recommend it if you're absolutely certain you'll be having your hair done by Alexandra.
Alexandra is the best hairdresser I've ever had! I had completely given up on hair salons because I was always disappointed, but since a friend told me about her salon two years ago, I've never been happier with my hair. I've recommended her to everyone I know, and they've all become loyal clients. I now live an hour away, but I still make the trip to see her because she's the only one who knows how to perfectly meet my needs. She does everything she can to achieve my expectations without damaging my hair, so it stays healthy. That's what makes a good hairdresser. The salon is gorgeous, and everyone is kind and attentive. You can go there without hesitation!
This is my second visit and I'm absolutely thrilled!

Je suis venu pour faire une couleur avec un soin je trouve ça super beau puis ma maman est venu pour des mèches qui ont été super bien réussite ! La patronne est venu régulièrement voir si tout ce passais bien, proposer aussi un café…
C’est le seul salon de Saint-Malo qui écoute vraiment la cliente (même quand on demande de couper très peu il font exactement comme il faut)
