15 Best Restaurants in Sitges

Sitges has long been known for its sun-drenched beaches, modernist architecture, and vibrant cultural calendar. Yet in recent years, this coastal town just south of Barcelona has quietly become one of Catalonia’s most exciting dining destinations. The culinary scene here has evolved far beyond simple beachfront paella, though you can certainly still find an excellent version of that too.

Walking through the narrow, whitewashed streets of the old town, you will encounter everything from family-run tapas bars that have barely changed in decades to sleek, contemporary spaces where young chefs are reinterpreting Catalan classics. The sheer variety means there is something for every traveler, whether you are seeking a romantic dinner overlooking the Mediterranean or a casual lunch after a morning at the beach.

What makes dining in Sitges so distinctive is its deep connection to local produce. The nearby Garraf region provides fresh seafood, while the surrounding Penedès wine country supplies many of the restaurants with exceptional local wines and cavas. This sense of place runs through the best menus in town, grounding even the most innovative dishes in Catalan tradition.

Given the town’s popularity as a year-round destination, competition among restaurants is fierce. This works in your favor as a diner, because establishments must consistently deliver quality to survive. The result is a dining scene where standards are high, and where even a modest-looking bodega can surprise you with the freshness of its ingredients.

For first-time visitors, the sheer number of options can feel overwhelming, especially during the busy summer months when every terrace is full. That is why knowing where the locals eat, rather than simply following the crowds on the seafront, can transform your experience of the town. A little local knowledge goes a long way here.

The following selection of restaurants reflects a range of styles, prices, and neighborhoods, from the bustling center to the quieter residential streets. Each one has earned its reputation through consistent cooking, welcoming service, and a genuine connection to the character of Sitges itself.

Whether you are planning a short weekend break or a longer stay, this guide will help you navigate the town’s culinary landscape with confidence. These are the places that capture the true spirit of dining in Sitges, where food, wine, and atmosphere come together in memorable ways.

Really great lunch! Thank you Diego, our server. We had the menu of the day 16€ for three courses plus coffee. Also pear salad and hamburger - both delicious!
Anna Zolotova★★★★★
We had a delightful lunch on a hot afternoon! It’s a pity they were out of arroz negro and we had to take the only meat-free options left, but it was tasty and very nice anyway!
Michael Johnson★★★★★
Absolutely lovely restaurant. We stopped in after a trip to the beach where we were greeted by the fantastic server Diego. He was very welcoming and explained the three course lunch menu. We tried a number of different things from the menu and they were all great. The carbonara, Texas ribs and lemon desert were favorites. Would recommend and definitely come back again .

Ohana was an excellent restaurant. The hospitality and service were fantastic, and the paella was absolutely delicious. I had the vegetarian version and my partner had the seafood paella. You pay a little extra to have an individual-sized paella, but it’s definitely worth it. We also had the tomato and burrata starter, which was delicious, followed by an excellent dessert. Everything we tried was great. Highly recommend!

It was our first time in Sitges, Spain, and the food was absolutely amazing—one of the best meals we had during our trip. The waitress was incredibly kind and even treated us to some extra drinks, which made the experience even more special. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Everything about our dinner was a 10/10. Service staff were super friendly and attentive, the food was incredible. Drinks were amazing. Best cheesecake I've ever had in my life, apparently it's an old family recipe. Highly recommend this place.

The restaurant is amazing all around. Carolina, the owner treated us with the best service and the hospitality that Sitges has to offer. My friend and I ordered a Coqueta, steamed muscles and the mixed beef and seafood paella. That was amazing. Well cooked well seasoned cooked to perfection. What made this place super special is the staff. They made us feel like we were at home and catered to us and to our needs and every portion of the dinner. I would definitely come back, not only for the quality of food, but the quality of the people and of this restaurant. It’s a must visit. Show Carolina your love.

Probably my highest review yet!! Ohana has truly made it into my history books with this one, making wanting to visit sitges a more regular thing! For starters we had the calamari and the patatas pravas; the patatas pravas was exactly as described, perfectly salty, soft with a outside crunch and the sauces that come along with it complement the potato VERY well, specifically the slightly spicy tomato sauce. But the calamari…was the STAR of today’s meal! I usually do not like calamari but Ohana had given it its own revitalised taste that I did NOT expect! It was cooked perfectly, and the batter was seasoned as though it was hand picked flavours! This truly became my favourite starter experience so far and I’d LOVE to visit again while on my travels to taste the calamari on brioche! For the mains I had the cod special, which was slightly fried cod, tomato and veg sauce with some flat round potatoes! While the flavours in this dish were subtle and light I’d was delicious, the potatoes were cooked to a light texture not overdone but yet not too overcooked, and the sauce around it was the right amount of salty to balance out the slightly acidic tomato. The cod itself was slightly salty HOWEVER this did counteract well with the vegetables within the dish, so it was truly a full one dish one mouth experience! It was fresh, flaky and very well executed! We then had the seafood and meat paella and wow…this exceeded expectations! The rice was perfectly prepared with the sauce base completely blowing my away, it was well seasoned and just that perfect amount of saltiness Ohana has seemed to almost perfect! The seafood itself once again very well prepared and plenty of it to choose from, it had a delicious aftertaste of a summer by the sea that you truly could not forget! If you’re a meat lover the meat itself was slightly lacking in variety however, what there was, was probably the star of the proteins, described as melt in your mouth and wonderfully rich! There’s still plenty on the menu id be looking to try when I return because not only was the food delicious, but the service was 10/10. Although waited by multiple servers the place was VERY well organised and the staff were friendly and connected to each-other which truly helps in a small familia style restaurant. Well done to the staff who, even with English not being their first language, still interacted with us and made our experience one we will not forget! Prices were pretty standard and I didn’t have any complaints by the end, as everything I paid for, I felt i received in the best way! Overall if you are traveling to the sitges area, or even just passing by OHANA is the number 1 not so hidden gem for me! Ps. To the bartender, your piña colada, perfecto.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ La Punta Sitges was excellent. The indoor space and quaint outdoor patio were welcoming, wheelchair safe, and gay friendly. We had the cheese bravas and focaccia to start—the cheese bravas were amazing! For dinner, I had the Alaskan cod with rosemary honey drizzle, honestly the best-tasting fish I’ve ever had. My partner had the beef tataki, which was beautifully prepared Japanese-style rare beef. Delicious food, cosmopolitan menu, and a great Sitges find. American tourist in Sitges.

My favourite restaurant during my whole stay in Barcelona! As I said to my friend, it ticks all the boxes: amazing food, incredible atmosphere AND top-notch service! Thank you Joan for accommodating us on our last evening, even though we didn’t have a reservation PS: cheesecake was a MUST!!

The starter was disappointing, I’d rate it 2/5. The octopus, however, was absolutely amazing and easily the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the service ruined the overall experience. Our waiter was rude, arrogant, and came across as very cocky. He didn’t even greet my wife, which felt disrespectful from the start. I would not recommend this restaurant, especially when there are so many family-owned restaurants nearby that offer much friendlier service and genuinely make guests feel welcome.

Great Catalan Tapas with a twist A small restaurant with a small outside patio although we felt more comfortable in the air conditioned inside. Reservations are highly recommended Although we had many different tapas, The octopus was exceptional - very well cooked and very tender. For us, the stand out dishes were the Sardines with panne carasau, Lobster ravioli and Grilled artichoke all of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Great value for money and some interesting twists on some classic dishes. Unfortunately there seemed to be an issue with the ventilation, however, the friendly service made up for it.

We had such a great experience at Gaby's! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, traditional and full of flavor. You can really tell they care about quality. The best part, though, was the staff. The young team was incredibly friendly, welcoming and always smiling, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. On top of that, the prices are very fair for the quality and portions you get. Great value for money! If you're in Sitges and want authentic food with amazing service, Gaby's is definitely a place you shouldn't miss. We'll be back for sure ❤️
Maxim Matsiushonak★★☆☆☆
The only reason for 2 stars is the beer, good fries, and a decent burger. The rest was a big disappointment. We ordered a custom burger, tacos, a quesadilla, beer, sangria, and a Long Island Iced Tea. The Burger: Just okay. At around €21, it’s completely overpriced for what it is. There was no wow-factor, and the sauce lacked flavor. It heavily loses to good burger places I've been to elsewhere. The Food: The meat in the tacos and quesadilla was way too salty. The tacos also had very sour onions and an overpowering hot sauce. On top of that, the serving layout has zero table UX: the tacos are served on a metal stand on a flat wooden board without any regular plates provided. Everything leaks from the sides straight onto your hands. The Drinks: Absolutely terrible. The Long Island (as seen in my photo) tasted completely watered down, as if it was diluted with water instead of cola. The sangria was just as bad - very watery, like they mixed cheap wine with water and threw in some apples. Atmosphere: Even though there are air conditioners inside, they were either turned off or working so poorly that it was stuffy, even for a evening dinner. It made the experience even more uncomfortable. Overall, not worth the money. If you do come here, stick strictly to beer and basic fries.

I have come to Sitges 5 days ago. Our hotel is just a stone throw away from this establishment. I suffer with ceoliac disease and, am restricted to a Gluten free diet. After searching high and low I googled places that cater for ceoliacs and GABYS popped up straight away. With Google maps I had no problem in finding the location. On arrival, we were Welcomed by the staff and showing to our seat. They gave me a full explanation of the foods that I could have. The staff are exceptionally friendly, the establishment is spotlessly clean, good variety of music and decor. Food is of high quality and tastes amazing. This isn't 3rd day back and I'll definitely be back again. I would highly recommend Gabys for food if your here visiting Sitges
Joseph Coggins★★★★★
The food was very good and the music selection made for a great atmosphere. Luz was amazing and makes the best cafe con leche. We had two each. Thank you for all you did for us and you handled an unruly customer with the calm of a saint.

We went to Gaby's in Sitges for breakfast and had a really good experience. Two breakfasts and two drinks came to under €30 - great value! Service was fantastic. Friendly, welcoming and quick, but we didn't feel rushed. We had the avocado with fried egg and the breakfast burrito (without bacon as we're vegetarian). Both were delicious and really generous portions. The restaurant is right on the waterfront, so it's a lovely place to sit in the morning. Would definitely recommend if you're in Sitges.

🌊⛵✨ Super nice friendly people, wonderful atmosphere, and great views of the sea at Tanto Gusto! The whole experience felt warm, relaxed, and welcoming from the very beginning. 🐶🤗 🥗✨ The fresh salad with fried cheese, mango, carrots, tomatoes, and walnuts was absolutely delicious. The combination of flavors was vibrant and perfectly balanced: sweet mango, crunchy walnuts, fresh vegetables, and warm crispy cheese created a truly memorable dish. 🍅🥭🥕🧀🌰 I like the empanadas 🥟✨ delicious stuffed pastries popular in Spain and especially in Argentina, where they are considered one of the classic traditional foods. They can be baked or fried and are usually filled with cheese, vegetables, meat, seafood, or other savory ingredients. The empanadas here were wonderfully crispy outside, warm and flavorful inside, and perfect as a tapa or starter. 😊🇦🇷 There seems to be a lovely Argentine influence in the cuisine and atmosphere, creating a warm, authentic, and relaxed dining experience. “Tanto Gusto” also has an Italian sound, which fits beautifully with the strong Italian cultural traditions found in Argentina. 🇦🇷🇮🇹✨ The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared with great attention to detail. Every dish felt comforting yet refined, with high quality ingredients and excellent presentation. 🍷🍅🌅 The service was kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly, and the restaurant was also very friendly with dogs 🐶💛, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent food, sea views, lovely ambiance, true hospitality, and a pet-friendly atmosphere in Sitges. Will gladly return again! ⭐👏🍝🍨

Best empanadas ever - light, flavourful, made fresh and cherry on top, more than 6 vegetarian options!!!!! Felt very spoilt. The mushroom, spinach and caprese were our favourite. They are a bit pricey for the size though. 2 min walk from the beach and the perfect respite from the heat. Seating is limited but the staff is friendly and helps u settle in if you don’t want a takeaway!
Robbie Mackenzie★★★★★
Relaxed atmosphere, amazing empanadas! And the cakes are great too. I had to take one away after hearing other customers talk about how good they were.
Navsegda Mitya★★★★★
The empanadas were perfectly made fresh and delicious. My favorites were the Four Cheese and the Super Meat. They were genuinely tasty.
Diana Tuminez★★★★★
Cute spot, good vibes, and 5 of 5 empanadas! Great variety and so glad they had vegan options too. Trust me on this…they won me over especially as silly me was skeptical at first since I’m not an empanada person! I def want to come back. The lasagna looks mouthwatering.

My favorite dining experience in Sitges. The owner and staff kindly allowed me to get seated earlier than their opening time. I highly recommend getting their meal of the day special. Everything was delicious but I particularly enjoyed the sangria and fried anchovies! Will definitely come by again when I’m in the area.

We had a romantic meal in the terrace within this restaurant. As we arrived we were warmly welcomed. Food was outstanding and beautifully presented. Great service and reasonably priced for food and drinks. We will definitely return on our next visit to Sitges.
Janika Hango-Eichhorst★★★★★
Lovely place with amazing and fresh food! Again, we wanted to try different things so we shared everything. We had burrata salad and rustic bread with tomato - so delicious starter! Then we had hot sizzling iron pan with extremely tender prawns and so soft, even sweet-like garlics. Main course was seafood paella - juicy rice rich in flavors. We had dinner outside at the narrow backyard (actually side yard) and it was so lovely that we got to see a glimpse of the everyday life as well as the little daughter of the waiter was approaching father quietly and carefully for a moment.
Enlightenup★★★★★
Wow. Delicious. Beautiful atmosphere and the owner was very present and involved in making the experience memorable and enjoyable. Great wine and cocktail pairing recommendations- amazing.

We came to this restaurant because it was recommended on Chinese social media. We had orange salad, potato, dumplings and steaks. Everything tastes very good, orange salad was my favourite, cocktails are also great, and the service was friendly and professional 👍

I would give more than 5 stars to this place!! After many trips to Spain over the years, I can confidently say that L’Artemisa served some of the best food I have ever had in Spain. This charming little restaurant has only a handful of tables, yet it delivers an unforgettable dining experience. What makes it even more impressive is that Chef Jaxier single-handedly manages everything, welcoming guests, serving tables, preparing the food, and tending the bar. His passion, talent, and dedication are evident in every aspect of the experience. We enjoyed the burrata with avocado, jamón with breadsticks, tuna tataki with apple chutney, grilled marinated courgette, blood sausage, chicken breast red curry, and steak with chimichurri. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The tuna tataki was exceptional, the red curry was rich and perfectly balanced, and the steak was cooked to perfection. It’s rare to find a restaurant where one person creates such a warm atmosphere while consistently delivering food of this quality. Chef Jaxier has created something truly special. If you’re visiting Sitges, L’Artemisa is an absolute must-visit. One of the most memorable meals I’ve had in Spain, and a place I will definitely return to. Thank you, Chef Jaxier, for an incredible dining experience!
Erik Ozolins-House★★★★★
Lovely meal - we ordered the burrata with avocado salad, courgette with goat cheese, provolone croquettes, duck cannelloni, and black sausage with apples. Everything was fresh, with unique flavor combinations. My only note of improvement would be adding a spicy pepper element to the black sausage to balance out the apple sweetness. Amazing service. Highly recommend!
Peter Kondor★★★★★
A truly memorable dinner at L’Artemisa Sitges. Every dish felt thoughtful and beautifully balanced: delicate white asparagus with silky sauce, perfectly crisp croquetas, and tender steak finished with rich, aromatic oil. The huevos rotos were probably the best in town. Even dessert, a light panna cotta with fresh raspberries, was elegant and refined. Warm service, a relaxed atmosphere, and food that feels unpretentious yet refined. We will happily return.
Olivier Cauchois★★★★★
A perfect place for a date, a romantic evening or a dinner with friends. You should definitely book yourselves a table. What an experience! The food is not only excellent, it’s refined. We geeked out all evening during our two dinners there trying to understand the dishes. Silvia was a lovely hostess which gave great advice as well as gave us a heartwarming experience. Thank you!

During our two-weeks vacation in Sitges, we have been at L’Artemisa twice. This has definitely been our favourite restaurant in Sitges. Especially, the duck was AMAZING! And, lovely atmosphere and service.

This is a fantastic place to enjoy a delicious Italian meal! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh salads, homemade pizza, pasta and burgers. The indoor seating is comfortable and creates a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. It felt like a place where both families and locals enjoy dining, which is always a great sign. Also a few tables outside. The service was attentive throughout our meal. If you're in Sitges old town looking for excellent local food in a welcoming setting, I highly recommend!
Matias Gomez Amaya★★★★★
Made a reservation to make sure we could finally try Bodega Charlie’s. The place is small but charming, with cute decorations and lots of wine bottles creating a cozy atmosphere. A young woman seated us, handed us the menus, and then left. The restaurant wasn’t full, yet we waited more than 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging that we were ready to order. Eventually, I had to get up, walk to the host stand, and speak with Santiago. He was very responsive, friendly, and took our order right away. We ordered the ragu pasta with beef and the ragu pasta with duck, and both were absolutely delicious. For appetizers, we had the meatballs, which were packed with flavor and truly outstanding. We also ordered the freshly baked bread, which was warm and delicious. Overall, the food was excellent and definitely worth trying. Although the long wait to place our order was disappointing, the quality and flavor of the meal made up for it. Hopefully, service will be more attentive on our next visit.
Amina★★★★★
Wanted to check out the place because of the good reviews and it did not disappoint. Tried the burger and the pasta, both dishes were prepared super well and the service was great as well. My companion and me both Agreed that the place also had a special vibe to it!

The food was awesome and so was Santiago! He really made the dining experience even better. The dessert was amazing we got banoffee and tiramisu.

I love this addition to Sitges. The food is stellar. The owners are so kind and warm. I want to visit much more than I can. We shared the meatballs, the stracciatella, and the porchetta. Wow! The meatballs are hearty with a red sauce that tastes like it’s made in Napoli. The cheese and puffy focaccia paired perfectly with them. Then the porchetta. Drool. Crispy outer edges, succulent meat and expertly seasoned. Paired with a bottle of Italian red, and you have perfection.

This is probably the best restaurant in Spain. And I know this is a bold statement but I stand behind it 100%. I had the privilege to live in Granada, and during my time living there, I visited many provinces across the country and tried a wide variety of food and cuisines. I made really good friends across Spain that showed me how diverse the Spanish cuisine can be. I visited many, many restaurants. This is why I feel very passionate about this review, and this restaurant. If you ever visit Barcelona or around, you must stop at Bon Estar. The food here is a reflection of care and love for Spanish cuisine, and most importantly, tradition. A respect that translates into a right and ability to give their food a modern twist, almost making it atemporal. The food is rich in flavor, extremely delicious, and will remind you of the fondest memories from this Country. In my last visit I ordered the Croquetas de Jamón Ibérico and the Bass. I paired it with the wine one of the managers/owners recommended— you can trust that they know what they’re doing. You must try the paella, although it is a plate for minimum 2px. I come here at least once a year. Yes, I make the trip from NYC to Spain yearly to visit this lovely restaurant. I’m sure you will not regret your visit!
C. Ryan Edgar★★★★★
Anniversary night and they made it extra special. Great service, perfect timing, delicious pasta & paella…and the wine pairing was excellent. Highly recommended for an intimate dining experience.

Great food excellent service and wonderful attention to detail. You can tell this family owned restaurant takes pride in quality and making every guest feel welcome. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful restaurant with lovely family staff and amazing execution. The daily menu is phenomenal (and affordable), and we added on a paella. Need to make reservations but just ask the day before to get one. You can't go wrong with what you order, and you don't want walk away feeling oily or heavy despite having such a decadent eating experience.

We were staying in Sitges and researched a number of restaurants to visit. This was by far was one of the best we visited. We enjoyed it so much we went back twice to try the whole menu out after a fantastic first visit. The flavour of the food quite frankly blew us away. Fantastic friendly service from the whole team there (special shout out to Hector) some of the best tapas we've ever eaten! Hector guided us through the menu and gave us great suggestions as we wanted to try everything. The menu honestly looked that good! Inspired from different countries (Argentina/France/Spain/Italy) and accompanied with a great drinks menu (great wine and beer offering), but we were personally taken by the Ogham Hazy pale ale ourselves as we hadn't tried it before. The decor was also amazing with a rustic but modern design twist. Hats off to this place, a must visit if you're in Sitges. We will be back!!

We visited Nunna, and everything was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is so cozy and welcoming, it truly feels like being with family. These wonderful people made our evening unforgettable, tasty, and full of great vibes. If you’re in Sitges, you must visit it’s worth every penny!

We were on a day trip from Barcelona and happened upon this family owned, small gem. Fresh, made to order delicious food with friendly service to boot. We started with meat empanadas. Even though they were fried, the pastry was light and fluffy and the stuffing beautifully seasoned. We followed with stuffed mushrooms with caramelized onions, Gorgonzola cheese and figs. So unique and so delish! Then my boyfriend had the skirt steak sandwich. He said it was “finger licking good”! And I had the patatas bravas with skirt steak. Incredible. Unfortunately we didn’t save room for dessert. So we’ll have to save that for next time. Because we are definitely going back!!! The place is small so make reservations ahead of time! Thank you Gus and family for a great evening!

If you visit Sitges, you must eat here at least once! We went three times during our stay, simply because it has the best and tastiest Tapas on offer. A warm welcome, a lovely vibe inside - not too big, not too small, and the food is just spectacular. You wont be disappointed!

This is such an amazing restaurant with great food and service. We found it by chance in May and have been back numerous times since and have told our friends who have also been and returned. My husband is from Argentina and he says the food is just like being back home. The staff are lovely and this is a firm favourite of ours. Visit - you won’t be disappointed and we will definitely be back. Ninian and Rodrigo

We had a wonderful experience at Thalassa in Sitges. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is beautiful, with a lovely view of the old church that makes the atmosphere even more special. We tried the fresh catch of the day, grilled to perfection, along with the shrimp hilopittes, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. To finish, we had the con nueces dessert, which was outstanding—the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. If you’re looking for fresh seafood, warm hospitality, and a beautiful setting in Sitges, Thalassa is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Very attractive small place by the sea ⛵ I had wonderful fresh tzatziki and olives 🫒 with fresh bread and octopus 🐙 with polenta. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the people working there are super nice and friendly and helpful. I very much enjoyed my visit and will be glad to come back.

In a world crowded with tons of choices, it is rewarding to discover someplace new, at least to me in Catalonia Spain).offering the traditional culinary treats of one of Europe’s most ancient civilizations. I choose 3 simple but very well known dishes.

Update: my third time here and I love it more and more each time. Beautiful spot and lovely service for some Greek authentic food. The staff are lovely and are accommodating to couples or large groups. We were a group of 15 and everything ran super smoothly. I suggest you ask about their specials.

Vinomio is a must if you are visiting Sitges, it is easily my favorite restaurant here. Every dish that we ordered succeeded expectations, the quality was amazing (I highly recommend the truffle tuna toast and bravas, they are the best I’ve had!) . The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and I will definitely be coming back here!!

While visiting Spain I had the pleasure of going to this amazing spot. Our group tried a variety of plates which were all delicious! On top of it all they had amazing service and were very attentive. Will be sure to stop by again if I’m ever back in the area.

In the middle of Sitges, we ducked in for a dinner and drinks, came away with one of the best tuna tartar creations - on crunchy bread with some wonder of aioli. Oysters sublime, and a tuna tataki that hit beautifully. So in general, this place serves fish next level. It’s incredible. And the service and vibe was lovely. We ate outside, cooled by a powerful fan in July heat. Can’t recommend this place enough.

A relatively recent addition to the Sitges food scene, Vinomio lived up to the high reviews already here. The service was excellent - friendly, professional, just the right amount of being available to you and giving privacy. We started with an amuse-bouche with of salmorejo de melón with jamón de bellota. Very delicious, super refreshing and it’s a nice touch as you scan the menus. Our group of 4 decided to share our plates, starting with a beautiful burrata and peach salad with truffled honey (10/10) and an avocado and mango salad, followed by croquetas de chuletón (steak), a delicious prawn ceviche served in patacones (little friend plantain cups), one of my favorites, and our octopus dish was served last - a smoky, delicious highlight- everyone commented on the amazing potato purée and the succulent meat. We had a bottle of rosé, 4 sparkling waters and shared desserts -chocolate cake and lemon sorbet - and the bill came to €38 per person. Reasonable for the quality of what we ate, definitely. The only change I would suggest is the music - it was louder than needed, and every now and then a phone call interrupted the playback - a little tweak to help the atmosphere be even better! But this is just one tiny note. The food and service was memorable and we’ll be back.

Sara was amazing! Not only was the meal spectacular… A paella for four that was just the best dish I’ve eaten on this trip. The atmosphere, service, and overall customer care were all outstanding. Check this place out if you want a wonderful Ocean view meal in Sitges, Spain!!

Good looking food that tastes incredibly poorly. For convenience reasons, I went twice. Both times the rice was excessively salty, while the fish had no taste. They also serve atrocious salads with fruit and coconut whipped cream. Never again. Avoid at all costs.

I had some of the best paella I’ve ever eaten in my life at Casinet. The service was fast and the outdoor seating is very posh. You can also see all of the paella being cooked on the open stoves inside. Our server Alex was super quick and friendly. Highly recommend!

Wonderful restaurant with direct sea view We ordered Salad with fruits Battered olive Andalusian style squid Classic seafood paella Black rice paella Seafood fideuá paella The best one was the classic one, and the salad, the squid but all of them were really tasty 😋 ❤️❤️ And the view and the service were very good. Very good experience, totally recommend.

Had a fantastic lunch at Casinet today. The calamari was perfectly cooked, the burrata was incredibly fresh, and the seafood rice was absolutely outstanding — highly recommend all three dishes. A special mention to our waiter Alex, who made the whole experience even better with such warm and attentive service. Looking forward to coming back!

Cosy and nicely decorated restaurant in the heart of Sitges. A lot of veggie options and a menu with very interesting flavours. The restaurant is small so the atmosphere feels more intimate. Food was good for the veggie dishes. The lamb on the other hand was felt flat. We were expecting more for a 30€ dish. The wine menu is really nice, but please make sure to pour a regular glass… almost sure we didn’t even get 100ml when cost per glass is around 6-9€. Staff is helpful and nice yet I believe they could have one more person to help have a better experience. Details count a lot here.

21/04/26 This is a 'must visit' restaurant in Sitges. A gem! Do not miss it, I doubt that you will be disappointed. The food is delicious. The staff are the best. Very attentive and helpful without being intrusive. The menu is intriguing. Every plate that we chose was obviously prepared with skill and attention, using the best of ingredients, was full of flavour, well-presented and a joy to eat. The sommelier was knowledgeable and informed us well so that and with his help, we chose an excellent wine to complement our meal. For ambience, the background music, was as it should be. The room was calm and relaxing. All in all, the meal was faultless! We will be back.

Really very nice. Service is excellent: friendly, informative, attentive. Food was right up there; excellent. I had beautiful sea bass with spinach baked with thinly sliced potatoes over it. Get it! My partner (vegan) *loved* her ravioli, which is great because there was good choice and high quality for her when vegans often are an afterthought. A lovely experience and not even expensive. Recommended. €40 pp with wine/beer x2, dessert, aperitif, starter, main.

Main courses were absolutely amazing at Hibou. Beef tornado was so delicious. Desserts were nice too. Service was a little slow at the beginning of the meal, however it was really busy.

I recently had an amazing dinner at Hibou and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The food was nothing short of incredible; each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The attention to detail in the cooking really stood out, making every bite a delight. For dessert, we indulged in one option that was the perfect ending to our meal. To complement it, we chose a Malvasia dessert wine, which was sublime. Its sweet, aromatic qualities paired beautifully with the dessert, enhancing the overall experience. The service was top-notch—attentive without being intrusive, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations. The atmosphere added to the enjoyment of the evening; it was cozy and inviting, making it the ideal setting for a memorable dinner. Overall, Hibou exceeded our expectations, and I can’t wait to return!

Amazing choice!! Scallop is the must. If u have to choose between solomillo o entrecot Angus. I personally suggest entrecot Angus because it s more favor.

Everything was perfect! The food was amazing. The wine recommendation too. The service was warm and personal. I wish I can give 6 stars. The serving size for the main was pretty big though. So just go easy on the starters to save space for the mains.

Tips for Dining in Sitges

Understanding a few local dining customs and practical details will help you make the most of your culinary adventures in Sitges. The town operates on a different rhythm than many northern European and American cities, and adjusting your schedule slightly will open up far better dining opportunities. From timing your meals to knowing how to order, these small adjustments can significantly enhance your experience.

Embrace late dining hours. Lunch is typically served from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, while dinner rarely begins before 8:30 PM. If you eat earlier, you will often find yourself alone in the restaurant or limited to tourist-oriented spots. Arriving after 9:00 PM is the best way to experience the true local atmosphere.

Book ahead on weekends. Sitges is a popular getaway for Barcelona residents, meaning Friday and Saturday nights fill up quickly. The best tables at the most sought-after restaurants are often reserved days or even weeks in advance, especially during summer and festival periods like Carnival or the Film Festival.

Look beyond the seafront. While the promenade restaurants offer lovely views, they often charge a premium for location rather than quality. Walking just two or three blocks inland will frequently lead you to better food at lower prices, with a more authentic atmosphere.

Try the local wine and cava. The Penedès region, just a short drive away, produces some of Spain’s finest sparkling wines. Ask your server for a recommendation of a local cava or a crisp white wine made from Xarel·lo grapes, which pair beautifully with seafood.

Order the menu del día at lunchtime. Many restaurants offer a fixed-price lunch menu that includes two or three courses, bread, a drink, and sometimes dessert. This is often the best value in town and a great way to sample a restaurant’s cooking without committing to a full à la carte dinner.

Respect the pace of service. Meals in Sitges are meant to be savored, not rushed. Servers will not bring the check until you ask for it, and lingering over coffee or a digestif is completely normal. Relax into the slower rhythm and enjoy the experience.

The dining scene in Sitges rewards those who are willing to explore with an open mind and a relaxed attitude. Beyond the specific restaurants mentioned here, you will find countless hidden gems tucked into the town’s atmospheric streets, each with its own story and specialties. The best approach is to treat every meal as an opportunity to discover something new about this remarkable coastal town.

As you plan your visit, remember that food in Sitges is inseparable from the town’s identity as a place of celebration, creativity, and hospitality. Whether you are sharing plates of fresh seafood with friends or enjoying a quiet glass of cava as the sun sets over the Mediterranean, the restaurants here offer a genuine taste of Catalan coastal life.
