La Pizza Cresci has that classic heritage feel and gives off great local vibes. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed wine-and-dine experience.
However, the food was a surprise in a negative way. The pizza was extremely salty, and the pasta was overly spicy - something I’ve never experienced elsewhere. Overall, a lovely setting and service, but the dishes I tried didn’t live up to the ambiance.
I’ve visited this restaurant twice on April and the first time I’ve had an aubergine pizza which happens to be the best pizza I’ve ever had!
I’m not gonna lie, I thought they were greedy to serve only a half of a pizza, then I realised I was wrong because I couldn’t finish it. Half is quite enough for 1 person !
Then I came back for their pasta. Spoiler alert : They’re Excellent !
I believe our waiter the first time was Philip. He has been kind enough to fold a blanket and give a cushion to put on my seat because I’m short. 😅
The second time, we have been served by Dario. I loved his sense of humour.
Plus, the pizza making team is extremely friendly and welcoming. As soon as you walked in, they cheered me up, paid attention and they thank me for the visit as I was leaving. I FELT VERY MUCH SPECIAL 🫶🏾

The best pizza I’ve ever had! Honestly, I think it was even better than the pizza I had in Venice last week. The crust was perfect, the ingredients were fresh and high quality, and the flavor was absolutely incredible. I actually ordered the burrata because I wanted to eat healthy, but when I saw my friends’ pizzas, I just couldn’t resist and had a slice. It turned out to be one of the best slices of pizza I’ve ever eaten. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was wonderful. If you’re in Cannes, this place is an absolute must-visit! 🍕❤️🇫🇷
ABYSMAL SERVICE!!!! This is a place where the owners make a fortune selling swill in Cannes and hiring random people with dirty fingernails (and that’s no exaggeration)! Or rather, there is no service here at all! It’s a dump! It’s a factory... and the staff are just random, temporary hires. Every time I’ve been here, people have bumped into me—twice per visit—without ever apologizing. Once, someone kicked my €1,000 motorcycle helmet, which was sitting neatly on a chair, and didn't even turn around. THE STAFF NEVER APOLOGIZE. The food is like something from a gas station. There is no service. The staff are bio-robots trained in nothing but speed. Go eat at any nearby pizzeria instead—it’ll be better. THIS IS CANNES, and a dump like this pizzeria has no place here.

Pizza is delicious. I have been to many parts of Italy and had Pizza in many places. This was without a doubt one of the best I have had. Also, a big thank you for looking after my bag which I forgot at the table 🎒. The Manager is very welcoming and very kind. This was the best meal I had in Cannes. I will definitely visit again one day.
This place has become one of my favs in Cannes, and the pizzas are best I've had anywhere! Absolutely delicious. Small restaurant in a nice quieter location at the end of Rue Suquet. Friendly staff. I liked the wine and limoncello too! Hope to be back in Cannes ans Papagio again soon 😊
Well plenty of seats available - inside and outside. The two French groups in Front of me ordered Pizza take away with a 10min wait. I was told all seats are taken and take away would take over 1 Hour. Well I don’t speak french well but it is enough to understand it
The reviews were so good I thought they could be bots, however the food here was excellent and the service even better. We had the most delicious lasagne and a raccolata pizza which was so tasty. The panna cota was also great. The manager was very fun and great to interact with. 5/5

Lovely place, on the quieter side of Cannes., which i really liked., as it was easier to breath and enjoy without the crowds hovering over in the hot weather. The pizzas were delicious and the pasta with prawns was also really good!.. service was great and so was the ambiance.

I came here on a Sunday afternoon, and it wasn't crowded. I ordered a Margherita with Pancetta, and it was amazing! The crust, the flavors, and all the other ingredients were perfectly on point. I added the spicy sauce, which is handmade by the restaurant, and it truly elevated the pizza.
I highly recommend this place! The location is beautiful and cozy, situated right in front of the sea. The staff were super nice and friendly. Totally recommend this spot!
An absolute hidden gem in Cannes!
As an Italian ironic as it is, I had to travel all the way to Cannes to eat one of the best Neapolitan pizzas of my life! It was fresh, absolutely delicious, and – thanks to the high-quality ingredients – not heavy on the stomach at all the next day. Fantastic! Unfortunately, I discovered this place way too late, on my very last evening. It looks a bit unassuming from the outside, but the products are absolute top-tier. Next time I'm in the area, a stop here is an absolute must!

I had a really great experience at this place. The pizza was 12 inches, freshly baked, and clearly made with homemade ingredients, which you could taste in every bite. The price was very reasonable considering the quality and portion size, making it great value for money.
The only small downside was the plastic cover on top of the table, which made it slightly unstable and wobbly when it got windy outside.
Overall, the experience was excellent and I would definitely recommend this local spot. They also offer nearly 20 different pizzas on the menu, so there’s plenty of choice for everyone — including vegetarians, who will easily find something suitable.
We visited Mamma Pizza in the evening about 7pm.
We ordered 1 pizza and lasagna. The portion size was enough to feed a young family with 2 children aged 9 and 4.
Food was excellent and the service was awesome.
We sat outside under the shaded umbrella and had a great meal.
Highly recommend.

the staff is really nice and open to tourists, they speak great english. the food is amazing and the dessert it’s too sweet, it’s perfect. you can also feel the alcohol in the cocktails and they fill them to the brim. the food is around 35 euros and the drinks around 15 euros. i had the fish that was cooked to perfection, the sauce was incredible and it paired well with the fish and the mashed potatoes. the tarte was a bit small but every bite made it worth it, it was the perfect amount for a sweet treat at the end of your meal.
We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was exceptionally delicious! especially the steak and the pasta, both were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The wine and cocktails were excellent as well and paired beautifully with the meal.
The prices were very reasonable for the quality and overall experience. What made the evening even better was the service: the staff was attentive, genuinely friendly, and made us feel very comfortable and welcome throughout the night.
We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place.

Cocktails and food arrived quickly, presentation was nice. But the pace never slows down — tables are cleared and reset almost before guests have stood up, and that restless energy lingers throughout the meal.
The pizza is decent, though the dough could use more character.

Very delicious food. There were no vegan options on the menu but they were happy to make me pasta arrabiata, which was amazing. The restaurant setting was very central in Canne & had great outside seating. Our server Natalia was very attentive & helpful.
Perfect service from Fabio and Josh. It’s our second night eating at Ragazzi. It’s one of the best restaurants in Cannes for sure. The food came fast and was perfectly flavored. What a brilliant concept and great idea giving out menus when you arrive in the anchorage. Service was quick as we ordered about 5pm, delivery was friendly and the pizza was delicious. Even had a follow up drive by in the morning to check we enjoyed our pizza. What more could you ask for. 🍕

Never have I been to a five star pizzeria and since I’m from New York, I know good pizza. This place is a five star pizzeria, wonderful food, delicious food, great family, business, and a and I would say I wish I lived closer. I would be here every day no joke if you want great pizza and great food this is the only place to go.!

The pizza was just like it should be, delicious! The cheese seemed to be not a traditional (in our opinion) mozzarella, but something else - still quite tasty just had a bid of specific aftertaste. They are right in front of you and make it exactly the way you want it, its like tailor-made pizza. The dough is fantastic, all the other ingredients are also of the highest quality, that is their strong point. The dough quality is absolutely the best. Simple place but excellent!
The pizza is an absolote gem, the dough, the toppings, the chef, they even serve Sicilian lemonades... We just arrived on a rainy day and the guestroom was under renovation which was a little sad so we took to go. Highly recommend!!!!

I had the most delicious chicken pizza with Valentina hot sauce that was out of this world! My partner had an anchovy pizza that he thought was one of the best he ever had. Best pizza for sure!
We had two pizza slices to take away, chicken bbq and tomato mushroom.
Unfortunately both were very terrible to eat.
The crust for checken pizza was very hard from the sides and wasnt appetizing to eat.
For tomato mushroom, i had to throw away whole as it tasted terrible.
The staff itself was very good.

We ordered the XXL pizza — it was even bigger than we expected and we couldn’t finish it. Luckily, they kindly packed the rest for takeaway. Very satisfying!
I visited this place with my friends and was really disappointed with the experience. We believe the staff forgot about our food as we had to remind them and we still waited nearly an hour for food and then cutlery when the place was not very busy. Upon looking back on the bill we realised the staff had overcharged us. They charged us the full bill but claimed that drinks were not included and must be paid for separately however this was not true so we ended up paying double for all the drinks. There was undoubtably a lack of communication and it seems as though we were taken advantage of as a result. I would advise anyone to be careful before choosing this place to
eat especially tourists!

Gorgeous little venue, beautiful atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Staff friendly and good menu, we only came for pizza and it was so good! We didn’t have room for dessert but we’d go back again to eat!

The staff is a mix of amateur students and just gets their bare minimum done. Mostly talking to eachother. Fake smile to guest they clearly don’t like from the beginning on, why Soever (dumb tourists I guess) That’s not how you get costumers that would come again. You get treated like a one time guest. Sat there with an empty glass of Prosecco and beer during my whole meal.
Only in the end, I guess it’s the manager who asked if we would love to have some more drinks after finishing our meal. I think he needs better quality and from inside friendly personal for this restaurant as I would love to give it a 2nd chance.
Let’s talk food! The pizza is the best that you can get in Cannes for a good price value. Neapolitan style … really enjoyed it!
Noodles: my wife had the bolognese / Ragou … noodles tasted like instant noodles … I actually dont think so … but something was weird about it. Maybe they even do it by themselves and just add to much flour to it … I don’t know but they need to check that 🥴 the meatball was raw inside … so yeah I think they can do better.
Will try again next year hopefully with a slight change. For now … I can recommend only the pizza for take away.
I was disappointed with my experience today. I found a hair in my pasta and informed a member of staff. They took my plate away but never apologised, offered a replacement, or came back to speak with us. We were still charged for the meal. I understand mistakes can happen, but the lack of any response or attempt to resolve the situation was very disappointing.
Great pizza. Friendly staff. We walked by early after visiting the castle above. Got full a little later. Slightly off the more touristy part of old town.

It was lovely, with great service and excellent food. We went on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was quite bustling, which added to the lively atmosphere. The food was incredibly fresh, and the décor really makes you feel like you’ve been transported to the Mediterranean. Prices are on the higher end, but the quality and experience make it well worth it.
I was looking for a quick lunch for one and this place did come up on Google. When I arrived I thought it looked very small and understated place, not my usual choice but I thought I would give it a go.
The service was very quick and friendly. I ordered their seafood pasta and it was delicious and my plate was completely empty in need time.
I would be more than happy to return.
There's several Italian restaurants in south of France but only a few have the food quality to match good Italian food. This place will not disappoint. I wish I would have gone back for the pizza because it looked amazing. we only tried the pizza flatbread with our Italian pasta which was terrific.
We had a very enjoyable dinner at Cheer Mamma in Cannes. My partner ordered the La Mielleuse pizza, which was flavorful with a perfectly crisp crust. I chose the spaghetti alle vongole, generously filled with clams and a delicious, well-balanced sauce—I could have easily enjoyed a second serving. The atmosphere was vibrant, with an open kitchen, good music, and a lively buzz that made the evening feel special. Service was friendly and added to the overall positive experience. A solid 4 stars.

We have eaten here three times so far and we are going to eat here for our entire vacation. This place was recommended to me by Google Gemini. I can only say this: I have eaten the most delicious food of my life at this restaurant! Truly amazing food. Every single bite takes your mind straight to the Côte d'Azur. It’s absolutely on another level, a league of its own!
The portions are big enough (just look at this pot of mussels in the picture), and what I found truly interesting is the incredible quality of the ingredients. Even a simple tomato tastes absolutely sensational! I am leaving this review with a full heart, and it's a shame I can't give it 10 stars!!!
We come to La Piazza regularly, and it’s always a pleasure. The food is consistently excellent, and the service is just as good.
What really makes this place special is the team. Everyone is incredibly friendly, attentive, and always up for a laugh, which creates such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You can really tell that the team is well looked after and works great together.
We always feel welcome here and genuinely enjoy coming back. The food is fantastic, the people are wonderful, and we’ve never been disappointed.

The service was friendly and welcoming. This is a popular place, so it can be difficult to find a free table during busy hours. The food was decent and enjoyable, although it wasn't anything exceptional. Prices are similar to those at the nearby restaurants, so overall it's a reasonable choice if you're in the area.
Completely unprofessional manager with "20 years working there", quality of food served utterly disappointing. Ordered 5 main dishes between 4 adults, all were served at the same time. Within a bite from each dish dissatisfaction was shared with server, who accepted the challenge , advised manager will be over to figure something out. From there on -the most arrogant and unpleasant service person possible. According to him it is impossible that noone at the table has disliked the food that was ordered. Pizza was undercooked undercarriage, toppings of ham, mushrooms and artichoke were completely raw and bland. 2 pasta dishes with the same truffle cream were served - watered down sauce, lack of truffle, pasta was not al dente pure trash. Red flags were the volume of dishes in the menu. However the tip of the iceberg was the beef tartar and ribeye steak. Steak was low quality cut at high price point - served fatty chewy and muscly. Probably same waste meat was the tartar - massive chunks and bland beef. We were threatened with police unless we paid the bill, I offered to pay 50% of the bill to cover the ingredients as goodwill- rejected. Even though we advised we are not looking to choose alternatives from the menu, as a restaurant that cannot serve 1 of 5 good dishes, money is wasted. Manager was arrogant and dismissive and when challenged about the food response was, noone else complained today about their food. Well the €95 and leaving at dinner time by choice of 4 adults better serve other diners as a warning to the poor quality food at central location. Arrogance and dismissal to customer service, comment and complaint from 4 adults about all the food as soon as it is tasted is not the correct practice.
Great food! We had the Fish and mussels, and they were delicious! Most importantly, the service was extremely great! Julian, our waiter, went above and beyond. Thank you for the great service!
