15 Best Beach Hotels in Lloret de Mar

Lloret de Mar has long been the beating heart of the Costa Brava, offering a unique blend of vibrant nightlife, rich Catalan history, and some of the most accessible golden sand coves in Spain. While the town is famous for its energetic summer atmosphere, it also serves as a surprisingly sophisticated base for a Mediterranean beach holiday. The key to unlocking the best version of this destination lies in choosing the right accommodation, particularly if you want to wake up to the sound of waves.

The town’s coastline is divided into two distinct personalities. To the south, you will find the bustling main beach, Platja de Lloret, lined with a lively promenade, while to the north, the rocky cliffs give way to quieter, more secluded shingle coves like Cala Canyelles and Santa Cristina. Staying at a beachfront or cliffside hotel not only provides immediate access to the sea but often grants you a sanctuary away from the crowds when you need a quiet siesta.

Selecting a hotel here is not just about finding a place to sleep; it is about curating your experience. Families often prioritize hotels with direct beach access, shallow water entry, and on-site pools to keep children entertained. Couples, on the other hand, might look for adults-only boutique properties with spa facilities, infinity pools, and panoramic views of the Mediterranean for a romantic escape.

Accessibility is another crucial factor to consider when booking in Lloret de Mar. While the town center is walkable, the terrain leading to the northern coves can be steep and winding. A hotel situated slightly away from the main strip often provides a free shuttle service or easy bus access, ensuring you can enjoy the tranquility of a cove without the hassle of parking a rental car in the busy summer months.

Quality in Lloret de Mar varies wildly, ranging from high-rise budget party hotels to five-star luxury retreats. The best beach hotels in the area have invested heavily in recent renovations, modernizing their rooms while preserving the classic Mediterranean charm. These top-tier properties offer a blend of gastronomic excellence, wellness amenities, and architectural design that rivals the more expensive French Riviera.

To help you navigate the vast array of options, we have curated a list focusing on properties that offer exceptional value, prime locations, and verified guest satisfaction. Whether you are seeking a family resort with animation teams or a quiet adults-only hideaway, the selection below highlights the best places to stay for a seamless seaside holiday.

The following recommendations are based on a combination of location analysis, amenity quality, and consistent traveler feedback, ensuring you find a property that meets the high standards expected of a modern traveler. Each option provides a unique angle on the Lloret de Mar experience, from historic manor houses to sleek contemporary towers.

I stayed at Delamar Hotel in May 2026 to celebrate my birthday and travelled solo. This was my fourth or fifth stay in the hotel. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist in the stunning lobby area was pleasant, friendly and efficient, making check-in quick and welcoming. I was given a modest but comfortable room with a huge balcony (sun loungers included) that got plenty of sun, which was a lovely surprise. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, and the atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for a peaceful break. The breakfast offered plenty of choice, and as someone who is post-bariatric surgery, I was really pleased to find lots of healthy options that suited my needs. The location is excellent—just a stone's throw from the beach and seafront, making it easy to enjoy everything Lloret de Mar has to offer. The rooftop is absolutely stunning and is one of my favourite parts of the hotel. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

This hotel is on the main drag which is really busy at all times. It has many bars and nightclubs and fast food restaurants and can be a little overwhelming if you're not used to this. Gorgeous hotel and despite the busy street, once you step inside you feel as though you have stepped into a different world. Public areas were so stylish and comfortable. The pool area on the first floor didn't get much sun but it was so peaceful to relax at and the bar staff were lovely and drinks good. Sunbathing areas on the 8th floor offer a good level of privacy. Unfortunately I didn't master how to open the parasol. I'm not sure if it was because I was too short. Cleaning staff did offer on occasions to assist though. Food was lovely and great selection. There was a lady member of staff in the dining room who was very noisy as she went about her job which was irritating especially at breakfast where otherwise it would have been a peaceful atmosphere. I was in bedroom 206 which overlooked the main street and I can honestly say that through the night with the windows closed and the air con on I heard nothing despite the street being busy all night long. All the staff were very professional however there were some that lacked warmth in their delivery. Lifts....now they let the place down. They were very slow and unreliable. You needed to scan your room card every time which was a nuisance and on occasions I got stuck going up and down with it avoiding my requested floor. I don't normally have issues negotiating a lift 🤭🤣 Great location and would definitely recommend

Fantastic hotel. Location is perfect for shopping and trips to the beach. Less than a 2 minute walk. The hotel and rooms are very clean. Rooms are serviced everyday. Breakfast is one of the best I've had. Buffet with everything you can think of and more. Constantly being refreshed. Staff very helpful and friendly. Fantastic rooftop bar with 3 pools, plenty of beds for having lazy afternoons next to the pools if that's what you are into. No kids aloud in the hotel so it's blissfully peaceful. Different Entertainment on every night till 11pm Would definitely stay again if retuning to lloret.

This was the hotel that just kept giving! Beautiful hotel, very clean & modern. Breakfast was fantastic, lots to choose from, several pools, the terrace is a real sun trap but quite busy poolside. Check in was hassle free, super friendly staff. Location is fab, on a busy stretch, plenty of shops & food vendors nearby, very lively nightlife & really close to the beach. The only slight criticism would be the room air conditioning. Already planning to return next summer for a longer stay.

That is an amazing hotel! Service is very good, rooms are ok, all of them with balconies. Nothing fancy, but you will be at the city or rooftop anyways. Rooftop is amazing, spacious, relaxing with 3 pools. Very good buffet, everyone will find something to eat for any tase. We will come back here soon!

Had 7 nights there this months and I have to say I was very impressed. Firstly, the food was excellent. Always a choice and always something different. Lots of very well thought out dishes all freshly made. Rooms were cleaned daily. Air con in the room was excellent. Great spot 2 mins walk to Fenals beach which was cleaned day by a giant machine. Sea was lovely to swim in too. Highly recommended

If you to be away from the strip but still have good nightlife, bars, restaurants and pubs this is the place. Very family friendly with an adults only sundeck. The evening entertainment is great, Cydney and Claudia never stopped working the crowd all night. The kids had a great time. The karaoke was good fun and every nation was represented. Great hotel, good food, good location and entertainment staff amazing. Thank you ⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟

First of all the hotel itself is ok, the location is poor. We wish we researched this better before coming there isn’t much around for children however the entertainment in the hotel made up for that. Food - shocking. I have a severe peanut allergy and on the second to last night I had a severe allergic reaction due to the fact that the food is not sign posted for allergy sufferers. What was displayed was ‘pasta’ which I thought was a tomato pasta dish which I’m ok with. However this soon turned out to not be the case. When I asked if there was any peanuts in this dish I was told they were ‘teriyaki noodles’ however this was not advertised. I truly believe the dish was in fact satay noodles. I spent my night being violently sick, unable to breathe properly. We complained a few times about undercooked food, trying to serve raw beef burgers and when we challenged this we was told ‘it’s ok’. The staff in the buffet was so rude. If you’re miserable in your job find a different one!
diana korotych★★★★★
My friend and I stayed at this hotel, and honestly, we loved everything about it. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was cleaned every day. The only thing we felt was missing was a small refrigerator in the room for drinks. Other than that, everything was great. The hotel also has a lovely terrace area for relaxing, as well as a swimming pool with a bar. The hotel’s biggest advantage is definitely its location. It’s only a 2-minute walk to the beach, with shops nearby and a supermarket within walking distance. I would also like to give a special thank you for the mojito at the hotel bar. I’ve tried more than 100 mojitos in my life, and this was by far the best one I’ve ever had! I will definitely come back again, if only for that amazing mojito. One tip: I recommend booking directly through the hotel’s official website rather than through «Booking» Highly recommended!

We are staying here atm, room is clean but very basic. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room. At breakfast yesterday one of the waiters was so rude. About 30% of the staff are nice but 70% are miserable and not attentive at all.. There are a lot of Spanish staying and omg they are so rude! It seems to be more like an older generation hotel for sure. At 50 I feel young. Theres no entertainment around the pool or any music playing. It just seems a bit dull. We aren’t party animals but do appreciate a nice atmosphere with friendly smiley staff. You won’t get that here, well at least not in early May! Food is very average too. I personally wouldn’t stay again.

Overall it was a great experience, but I do think it could have been worse. We have enjoyed our stay for a full week in august. I cannot really say to much about the staff because we havent had much interaction. Pros: - Its very clean and well maintained. - The location is perfect, next to the main beach. - The breakfast was alright, but the dinner was amazing!! I highly recommend taking dinner into your stay! The selection wasnt large, but it was excellent in taste and quality. Cons: - No Smart tv in 2026, come on… - The walls were paper thin, while you could hear everything from the corridor. We were lucky that we had good neighbours who werent been loud. - The pool on the top was very small. - The AC was making noises above speed 1. - The restaurant opening hours could have been longer.

Excellent place to stay at. Good size rooms, very clean, friendly staff, food variety was great.Weather was warm enough to swim but canopy at the pool could have been opened allowing more air circulation. Area was great with cafes and shopping stores.

From the moment we checked in , in fact before we checked in the service was excellent. Rooms very clean , maid service every day and breakfast was really good. Breakfast room had great sea view and food was lovely. Thanks for a great 4 night stay

Hotel Marsol is a gem on the busy and comparatively noisy seafront of Lloret. Renovated rooms, clean, good value. The à la carte restaurant and bar are just perfect pleasure, taste and value!
Jani U★★★★★
We were very satisfied! The hotel has a great location - right on the beach and just a few minutes walk from the bus station, so ideal for trips and convenient arrival. The staff was nice, helpful and always smiling. Small rooftop pool is great, even if very cold, with a beautiful view of the sea - my son was thrilled and appreciated the jacuzzi. The breakfasts were delicious, varied selection and everything fresh. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and we will definitely be happy to come back here. The only complaint.... the windows are not tight and you can hear everything that happens outside. Luckily I bring earplugs ☺️.

What a lovely hotel! The location fits just right, the ambiance is so pleasant, the team incredibly hardworking and kind and the rooms, absolutely cozy for our getaway! We stayed for a week and felt so welcomed! The breakfast has plenty of options so does dinner. But what stood out the most to me is the hardworking team: Natalia, Kevin and Irina. Special shout out to the breakfast chef matty and the bar staff Gerard for their lovely service and recommendations… we honestly couldn’t been more pleased and will definitely return in the future…Thank you guys for your lovely hospitality ✨
Linus Wabnitz★★★★☆
Overall we were very satisfied with our stay at the GHT Miratge. We appreciated the good location, the modern and overall very clean property, the room size as well as the dining options. Because we booked directly at the hotel we were given a room with a balcony. We loved that. The room was spacious and comfortable and we were also happy with the comfort of the bed and the bathroom. It should be noted though that the street can get quite nosy during the night. All rooms with sea view face it so keep that in mind. But the rooms are equipped with very well functioning AC‘s so sleeping with closed windows was no problem for us. The rooftop terrace looks nice and has a good view but we never used the pool up there because during the day there is no sun protection so we preferred to stay at the beach. The dining options impressed us a lot, especially considering that the surcharge for the half-board options seemed rather low for us. The variety of the food was great and everything tasted well and fresh. For breakfast and dinner warm options were offered at the live cooking station. Drinks are not included but are also priced very reasonable. We really did not expect to receive such an impressing food at this price level so we can only recommend to go for the half-board option. The hotel offers own parking but we preffered to stay at the public parking 5 minutes away from the hotel due to almost no fees being charged in June. The only thing that we can recommend as main improvement for the hotel is to review the service especially during dinner. Members of staff were all very friendly but they all work a lot around you while you are having your food. Especially during dinner they are very busy preparing the tables for breakfast and even though we never arrived too late for the dinner there were sometimes tables they didn’t want you to sit on because they were already prepared for breakfast. For us that created a bit of an unpleasant and not relaxed atmosphere so we would suggest to simply adjust the dinner times so that the staff has enough time to do the majority of the work towards the end. In our eyes there is still potential to improve even more and create an even more special and exclusive atmosphere but we would already definitely return because we had an amazing time.
Sam M★★★★☆
It was a really good stay at GHT Miratge. All of the hotel staff were kind, attentive and friendly and responded to any issues quickly. The location is right by the beachfront which couldn’t be better, the service was also 5/5. Dinner options could be better, as there weren’t many vegetarian options and the options that were there weren’t great. However, the breakfast is great with nice options like eggs, bread, cheeses, cereal etc. The rooms could be a little improved by having a functioning TV and colder fridge. I’d recommend this hotel 🙂

Right at the beach in a less hectic part of town. Loved the bar staff at the hotel roof pool, which was great to have access too. Great rooms with balconies. Breakfast was a bit chaotic but there are plenty of places nearby like the Anubis café next door.
Emily Olivia★★★☆☆
Nice clean hotel in a great location, right on the seafront. Has a great rooftop pool with some nice food at the pool bar. Restaurant is ok, doesn't really have many options but really enjoyed the chef who can make pancakes, eggs, etc fresh. The main reason for 3 stars is the rooms, this hotel is very noisy and I barely slept. The walls are paper thin, and you can hear everything outside. The bin men come at 2am (I know this isn't the hotels fault) but it is SO loud. We had the city view which looks onto apartments, and you can hear their dogs barking or them pulling up in their motorbikes throughout the night. The doors need to be made better so you can't hear anything. Also, you are given one pillow, which isn't enough and there aren't any spares in the wardrobe. I would stay here again but it needs some improvement

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The breakfast had a great variety of delicious options, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to both the sea and the castle view was unforgettable. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, which made the experience even better. Special thanks to Mr. Ricardo. Everything was perfect from tip to toe. The hotel is also right next to the beach, making the location ideal. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation. I can’t wait to come back!

This is the perfect hotel for Sun seeking Adults. It's right on the sea front, basic but adequate B+B, plenty of restaurants around it to make up for lack of it's own restaurant facilities. We were here in July, 30 + temp but lovely breeze on the beach 25 meters away. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can also dine in their sister hotels close by.
hamza abedalnabi★★★★★
We booked for 6 days, and we are already planning our next trip. Prime location with unbeatable views and service. The breakfast was varied and can cater for all tastes, the AC was perfect, the reception staff and the housekeeping staff were amazing. Will return soon, thank you the unforgettable experience.
Nora Blake★★★☆☆
It was an ok experience. We moved here last minute. The balcony overlooking the sea and castle was fantastic. The breakfast was fine. Unfortunately our room was above the restaurant and all night and morning you could hear the tables and chairs being moved about and it affected my sleep so I had to leave early. The pool is also very small and there is much shade on the roof terrace for the sunbeds
Aline Remus★★★★★
We got a room with sea view and you literally can see the sea from your bed. In your balcony you feel you already are in the beach, the solarium and spa are a plus. We are definitely going back if we a get a chance. Kudos to the staff that speak Catalan, Spanish, English and French always with a smile and very helpful.

Rooms are a bit noisy, can here the people talking next door. Toilet constantly ran for 4 days. Told management, but I guess they didn't care. Close the bathroom door, no problems. View was spectacular and staff were very nice. Diva is the best .

The location is perfect, first line and if you are lucky to get a sea front view, its amazing, especially at night. The rooms were clean, normal size, some had fridge, others- not. It has elevator. All in all its Ok for few nights. Close to bars and night clubs. The lady at the reception gave us good recommendations for bars and dance clubs. The beach is also great in the city, towards the castle is nice, there are restaurants there and all you may need.
Dženisa Osmić★★★★★
I recently stayed at this hotel and everything was exceptional from the moment I arrived until the moment I checked out. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional, always making sure I felt welcome and comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the consistent housekeeping service. The hotel’s location was excellent – close to everything important, yet still quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top-notch service, comfort, and a warm atmosphere. I would absolutely stay here again!
Steve Turley★★★★☆
This is a nice hotel in an excellent location right opposite the beach. The restaurant outside gives a 10% discount on food and is very good. The beds are medium hard so good for most people. There are a couple of things. The sound insulation between the rooms is terrible, so if you have a noisy neighbour bring ear plugs. Fortunately for us we didn't though you could hear people using the toilet in the next room. Also there is only one lift so if your on the top floors it keeps you fit.
Anna K★★★★★
We have been 2 times in this hotel and we liked our stay. Ladies at the reception are very nice, rooms are clean, lovely spa. And of course fantastic view if you take a room with the sea view. Note, that we were visiting this hotel in low season, so it was very quiet inside and outside. I am not sure that in high season the windows will be soundproof enough. Small advice: Parking in the area is indeed horrendously expensive, around 30eu per 24h, however, that this is not a hotel's fault! You can find in Google parkings inside the city, which you can reserve for 10eu/24h. You will need to walk back after, but I think it's best as you can get. We will come back 🙂

Wonderful hotel, with an incredible view! Excellent service! The pool area is perfect, the flowers make the atmosphere light and cosy. Very good meals, music every night. The hotel has several different areas, very spacious and well divided. Everything is very clean and well cared for. I was very well attended from start to finish.
Selma Parlak★☆☆☆☆
The hotel's location is excellent and within a short walking distance of the beach. This is definitely its biggest advantage. We stayed on an all-inclusive package. The food was decent, but the rooms were quite small and the furniture was not very practical. The biggest disappointment was the drink service. Even though drinks are included in the all-inclusive package, you have to wait in a very long line every time you want one. In the evening, when you just want to relax by the pool or in the garden, you end up spending most of your time standing in line. By the time it's finally your turn, the evening is almost over. Instead of enjoying a relaxing holiday, you spend it waiting for a drink. The location is great, but the hotel seriously needs to improve its drink service, especially during the busy season.

We stayed in the hotel August 2026. Location brilliant lots to do around the local area. Rooms not so great. A/c wasn't brilliant, decorating poor, no kettle or water in the fridge. Entertainment for adults brilliant. For the kids not so good. Pools and slides brilliant. Drinks and food good.
DAMIEN GLEESON★★★☆☆
Nice location. Clean with big rooms. Food and drink good. Entertainment during day is brutal, need more activities around d pool. Snack bar way too slow. Only cooks one order at a time rather than batch cook and keep hot to speed things up. Overall nice stay but entertainment during day and night entertainment not up to scratch .

We had a wonderful stay at Rosamar Hotel. The hotel was clean, comfortable, the food was great, and the location was perfect. What truly made our stay special was the staff, especially the reception team. During our holiday, we lost our passports and found ourselves in a very stressful situation. Everyone treated us with kindness, patience, and genuine care, and they did everything they could to help us. They helped us find transportation to Barcelona and gave us useful advice on how to reach Madrid to resolve our situation. They also arranged an early morning transfer to the train station, which was incredibly helpful. On top of that, they kindly allowed us to have lunch instead of dinner when we couldn't make it to the evening meal because of everything that was happening. Their professionalism, compassion, and willingness to help went far beyond our expectations. We are truly grateful to the entire team for making such a difficult situation much easier for us. Thank you, Rosamar Hotel! We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again. You made us believe in people, kindness and professionalism again.

I can't really say it is a 4 star hotel...I would say 3 plus if I compare it to greek hotels We came only for 1 night. Room 215 was comfortable, cozy beds, 2 TV screen which was a surprise. Strong AC. General look is outdated, but I did not mind. Only downside is the soundproof as I woke up at 5am for few minutes when a drunk guy screamed outside Breakfast was diveresed and of a good quality Swimming pools were great as well and the kids slides were perfect for a 5 year old kid. Prices at the pool bar were surprisingly cheap (2.8 for a beer) Service was good , all staff were nice For a short stay I would recommend this hotel if you get a good deal.

Great 2 star hotel in a brilliant location. Yes it’s very noisy with people partying but on the whole they are friendly and well mannered. Staff are very friendly and look after anything you need. We have had a few drinks and tapas in the bar on the ground floor (part of hotel) awhich we found good and friendly. Would definitely recommend and come back maybe bring some earplugs if you’re not inebriated from alcohol 🤣

One of the best hotels in Lloret! In the middle of the centre, one street away of the boulevard and far away from the nightlive. Small hotel with a bar/ restaurant, owened and runned by a couple who treats you not as a guest but as a member of the family. The rooms are basic, clean and from a decent size. The family rooms have a great big balcony on the street side and a modern bathroom. In the day you hear offcourse the people on the street but when the shops are closed you can only hear the sea.

We stayed here for 5 nights in July. It's a great location near shops and the beach. Maria and Daniel were very friendly and made us very welcome. Our room was spacious clean and very comfortable with a new mattress and great walk- in shower. The balcony was an extra bonus too. Breakfast was served until midday, very Spanish 😀. We'd definitely stay here again next time we're in lloret. Certainly great value for money!

+ Excellent hotel! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was outstanding — 10/10. The rooms were cleaned every day, the pool was always clean, and there were plenty of sun loungers available. The beach is only a 3-minute walk away, which is very convenient. We highly recommend staying here - There is no access to a free coffee machine or hot water during the day (for making tea); they are only available at breakfast. The hotel also does not have a spa or a gym

The location is perfect, but the most precious part of this hotel is the people who work there. The staff are amazing—always smiling, friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. The front desk team and the breakfast staff were all wonderful. A huge thank you to the assistant manager, who was constantly present throughout the hotel, making sure everything was running smoothly. I saw her everywhere, from the corridors, helping and supporting the cleaning staff, to the front desk. She is truly an amazing and hardworking woman. This hotel offers excellent value for money, and I was extremely satisfied with my stay. I highly recommend booking it!

We stayed at Alegria Mariner and, overall, we had a pleasant experience. Our room was on the third floor, facing the garden, so it was quiet and shaded both during the day and in the evening. The food was good, the area is peaceful, and the beach is just a short walk away. Overall, we had many more positive than negative impressions. The only unpleasant experience happened one morning at breakfast. A young waitress, who seemed to be a trainee, tried to take my plate away while I was still eating. There was still food on the plate, and I was holding my fork in my hand. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. She clearly needs more training and guidance. Apart from that, our stay was enjoyable.

We arrived at dawn and were given what was probably the worst room in the hotel. It is very small, damp, dark, and poorly ventilated. Outside is just as bad: beneath our room are the kitchen facilities and air-conditioning units, creating constant noise and a loud humming sound. It is impossible to rest in a room like this. When we asked to change rooms, the staff did not respond to our request. They explained that changing the room would require an additional payment. Even when we agreed to pay extra, we were only offered a room on the second floor above the entrance facing the highway. However, while walking through the corridor, we noticed that there were other vacant rooms available. It gives the impression that guests may be treated differently depending on their nationality or the country that issued their passport. It is difficult to say for certain. I am attaching photos of my room taken at midday on a sunny day. As you can see, it is still almost completely dark. Our clothes do not dry because of the dampness. While taking a shower, the water fills the shower tray and drains away very slowly, leaving a large puddle. When there is a lot of water, a cloudy substance even comes up through the drain. We are very dissatisfied and deeply disappointed.

This felt more like a private apartment then a hotel. The apartment was lovely. It was huge. Seprate living room, bathroom, bedroom. Felt high quailty and nicely furnished. No complaints about the room. There was a pool which was quiet. However the check in and out were frustrating. We arrived at 2am, and the machine wouldnt take our cards for the hotel tax. It wouldnt give us the room key until we paid for the hotel tax. We felt a little stranded. Whatsapp number doesn't work after hours. We very nearly ditched the place and went over to the Surf Mar for a room. A last attempt i used an amex which charges me for paying abroad. Typically this worked and the machine gave us our key. Problem solved. Nope. Our room was in block 2. Block 2 in the email was through the hallway. The hallway was locked. Couldn't get there. We had to leave the building head right use are key fob to enter the other door in block 2. A little frustrated now. We enjoyed are stay anyway. Then it came time to check out. We left at 7am. We were meant to place the room key in the black box in the main building. Problem was the hallway was again locked and we could no longer access the main building as the code we used when we arrived no longer worked. Luckily as we pondered what to do someone came out of the building so we were able to get in to drop the key off.

Location is perfect, just by the beach. The pictures are true : the rooms are spacious and nicely decorated BUT very dirty. There are stains everywhere and the floors weren’t vacuumed, so dusty under the beds and at the corners. It is so strange, I think this place was built like a 5 star hotel (there are some details that you can not even find in some 5 star hotels), but somehow they have stopped maintaining and cleaning it.

Fabulous rooms just across from the beach. Great swimming pool. No reception and an ill equipped kitchen are the only bad things.

Lovely location at night. Service wasnt great. Didnt have starters as waited so long. Arrived before 9pm. Served after 10pm.Gave up asking for additional drinks. Food not great. Mixed grill had lots of bones in it, paella had stock in it which wasnt pleasant. If this place employed more staff it would help 4.9.26

Both times I've been to Lloret de Mar I've stayed at Hotel Miramar. Its location by the beachfront is superb, with plenty of shops and bars nearby. It's definitely worth the extra cost to stay in a balcony terrace room with the amazing sea views. The hotel also has a small pool and gym at the top. The only drawback was the noise on an evening; if extra soundproofing could be added to the balcony doors it would be perfect.

Very disappointing experience. There was a lot of noise at night, making it difficult to sleep and get proper rest. The food was also very poor and far below what I expected from a hotel in Spain. Overall, I was very disappointed with my stay and would not recommend this hotel.

This was the most relaxing, beautiful, lovely and great vacation. The staff is absolutely amazing. The room is cleaning every day. The lady in reception is very friendly. When we arrived she is told us everything. Our vacation was great thank to her!

Hotel is located right beside the beach, rooms are clean and fairly modern. Breakfast is very good, dinner is mediocre, but you get what you pay (15e for full course meal with several options). Our room has no terrace (which is fine, it's a paid extra), but it would really benefit from having some air drier - where am I supposed to stick wet towels and bathing suits after I come back from the beach? Swimming pool on the rooftop is tiny and they close it after 8pm... Overall, not bad, but could be better.

A very good and comfortable place. The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfasts and dinners, with a wide selection of appetizers and hot dishes. The hotel isn't right on the waterfront but is situated on higher ground—which, in my opinion, is actually better. Down below, there is a dense cluster of houses and shops, and it gets very hot. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the sea using the elevator in the neighboring hotel of the same chain. There was just one problem. The staff only came to clean the room during our afternoon rest. Consequently, the room was never cleaned, as we were resting. We only asked them to remove the trash and change the towels.

Currently staying at Hotel Roger de Flor. Booked to stay two weeks. We are half board and the evening menu rotates every week so no time to get bored of the menu. Reception is good most of the time. Pool is lovely but can get overcrowded if people come in from Hotel Alba - sister hotel. The staff at breakfast and evening meal with Izabel and Xavi both so approachable, kind , friendly and excellent at what service they offer you.

Just got back from my stay at Hotel Roger de Flor by Seleqtta and I had a fantastic time! 🌟 The reception staff were super friendly and helpful, definitely a 5-star experience. The restaurant and bar offered amazing food and drinks, also earning a solid 5 stars. My room was cozy and comfortable, giving it a solid 4 stars. The location was great, just a short walk from the beach and local shops, so I’d give that a 4 as well. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway! 🌊

We stayed few days to Roger with our Beagle dog. The hotel is on a hill and the connection is good to Lloret. The food is fantastic and the staff is friendly. We had our room in the attic but we had a jacuzzi on it. The fact that they accept dogs is plus value. Is a sweet old school place to be. I will recommend it for dog owners with dogs max 20 kg.
Petra Rusnokova★★★★★
The hotel is beautiful - facilities, surroundings. The room is nice, the bathroom is brand new. You can hear almost everything from the neighbors. The food is excellent, everyone has their own choice. We have nothing to complain about. The people at the hotel are very helpful and pleasant, thank you for helping us book a taxi to the airport. We will definitely be happy to come back here, we really liked it here. There was a very pleasant atmosphere.

⭐ Perfect Stay – We'll Definitely Be Back! I had an amazing stay at Rosamar Es Blau Adults Only (21+), and I can honestly say it's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The biggest compliment goes to the entire staff. Everyone is incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. The reception team deserves special praise, they are available 24/7, always smiling, and always ready to help with anything you need. They truly make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The housekeeping staff also does a fantastic job. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every single day and was always spotless. It's clear that they pay great attention to detail. The restaurant staff are equally wonderful. The waitresses are always cheerful, friendly, and highly professional, creating such a pleasant atmosphere every day. And the food... absolutely incredible! There was a great variety every day, everything was fresh and delicious, and honestly, I could happily eat there every day for the rest of my life. I also loved the evening entertainment. The singers and performers they invite are fantastic, they create such a great atmosphere, are very talented, and make the evenings even more enjoyable. It was always a pleasure to sit back, relax, and listen to the live music. Overall, this hotel exceeded all of my expectations. Everything, from the service and cleanliness to the food, entertainment, and atmosphere, was exceptional. I will definitely be coming back because this is truly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. I highly recommend Rosamar Es Blau to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality adults-only holiday. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable!

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone at the hotel for the wonderful days we spent here with my husband. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. Everything was excellent: the hotel itself, the location, the staff, the breakfast, and the dinner. The food offered a great variety, with plenty of delicious fish and vegetarian options. The only small suggestion we have is to include some halal meat in the menu. That would make the experience absolutely perfect, although even without it, there were many enjoyable choices. A very special and sincere thank you to Nadjat for her incredibly warm welcome and kindness. She made us feel so comfortable that we truly felt at home. Her hospitality was exceptional and made our stay even more memorable. We would also like to thank all the other staff members, who were always friendly, professional, and lovely throughout our stay. Thank you all for making our holiday so special. We hope to come back soon, and we wish you all good health, happiness, and continued success. See you again soon!

Great week staying here, generally very good service and food. New, clean and stylish feel. Best place to stay in Lloret I think. Just near beach but slightly off main tourist drag as a bonus. Be aware spa access is not free unless you have booked directly with the hotel.
Sejla Burdge★★★★★
Weird setup for the sink being outside of the bathroom, but all else was wonderful! If you are leaving hotel early and will miss breakfast, let staff know and they will have it prepared for you at departure.

We stayed in Hotel Metropol for a family vacation, and I have to say it was the best hotel we've ever stayed at. The rooms were very clean as well as the common areas. Everything is very modern and taken care of. I was surprised with the TVs in the rooms! We usually don't watch it at all while in hotels, but with YouTube available, we were able to watch a movie before bed. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to answer any of our questions. We really enjoyed the small café available all day. Food was really good, especially at breakfast, but there were a lot of options to choose from at dinner too. It was all very tasty. The location is perfect, only 2 minutes from the beach but in the centre of town at the same time. There's a lot of restaurants and bars near as well, but the windows in the rooms are very well soundproofed – even with night life, we weren't disturbed by any noise outside at night. The only downsides were that the air conditioning in the cafeteria was too strong, therefore the food was sometimes cold, and the pool is very shallow so it isn't suitable for swimming – however, we didn't mind it that much since we mainly went to the beach. Overall, we enjoyed the stay very much. If you're looking for a smaller, quieter hotel, I can only recommend.
Araceli Leiros Anton★★★★★
Amazing location right in front of the beach and in the city center. The rooms are spacious, modern and very comfortable. We had a sea view room and waking up to that was perfect. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of options. Clean, friendly staff and highly recommend it.
Mitch Hammett★★★★☆
Hotel is absolutely lovely. Clean. Tidy. Great location. Close to the beach. Reception staff very kind and helpful. Breakfast is spot on. Would come back here 100% Only downside during a few times at breakfast me and my partner overheard a certain member of staff being inappropriate towards young teenage girls ( is your daughter single ) ( can I have your number) which left them looking very awkward and uncomfortable. This shouldn't be acceptable.
Avril Walsh★★★★☆
Three nights and Im so tired, we were at the front of the hotel, and the noise during the night all night was just so bad! People drunk, people shouting, singing, cars roaring, loud music. Never slept properly for 3 nights, im so glad we only had a long weekend here. Rooms are nice, beds comfy, but shower and toilet in same room which I dont like.. the noise tho was shocking! Crazy loud all night.
Joanne Massey★★★★☆
Located right opposite the beach. The staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and maids came every day. The breakfast was excellent with great choices. Plenty of excellent restaurants located close by. Only downsides we didn't have a balcony and the roof top pool is only about 2 and a half feet deep. So if your looking for swimming pool this isn't the place for you. We did enjoy our experience tho.

Essential Tips for Booking a Beach Hotel in Lloret de Mar

To ensure your stay is as smooth as the sand on the main beach, it is wise to plan your booking strategy carefully. The Costa Brava is a highly competitive market, and knowing when to book, what to ask for, and how to navigate the local geography can save you significant money and stress. Below are essential insights to help you secure the perfect room for your travel style.

Book Early for the Summer Season
Lloret de Mar operates on a strict high season from June to September. The best beachfront rooms with sea views are the first to sell out, often months in advance. If you are traveling during peak summer, secure your reservation in early spring to lock in lower rates and guarantee a room with a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean rather than a view of the street.

Understand the Difference Between Beach and Cove
Not all beaches are created equal in Lloret. The main Platja de Lloret is sandy, wide, and close to the action, but it can be incredibly crowded. The northern coves, such as Cala Canyelles, offer a more relaxed atmosphere but often feature coarser sand or pebbles. Decide whether you prefer convenience and energy or peace and natural beauty before choosing your hotel’s location.

Consider the Board Basis
While Lloret de Mar has an excellent dining scene, eating out for every meal can quickly inflate your budget. Many beach hotels offer half-board or full-board options that provide high-quality buffets with local Catalan dishes. If you plan to spend most of your day at the beach or pool, a half-board option can be incredibly cost-effective for families.

Check for Cliffside Accessibility
Some of the most stunning hotels are built into the cliffs overlooking the sea. While the views are unbeatable, the walk up from the beach can involve many steps or steep inclines. If you have mobility issues, are traveling with a stroller, or simply dislike walking uphill in the heat, verify that the hotel has elevator access to the beach or a reliable shuttle service.

Look for Parking and Transfer Options
Driving in the center of Lloret de Mar during July and August can be a nightmare due to narrow streets and limited parking. If you are arriving by car, ensure your chosen hotel offers on-site parking or a reserved garage. Alternatively, many of the top beach hotels are a short taxi ride from the bus station, making public transport a stress-free alternative to driving.
