Visiting the Louvre is an endurance test for the senses. After navigating the seemingly endless corridors of the Denon Wing or standing in awe before the Mona Lisa, hunger often hits with an intensity that rivals your initial desire to see the art. When your feet ache and your energy reserves are depleted, you rarely want to sit down for a two-hour, multi-course French gastronomic experience; you want something quick, satisfying, and affordable.
Fortunately, the area surrounding the museum is not just a cultural hub but a surprisingly convenient spot for fast casual dining. While Paris is renowned for its bistros and cafes, the streets surrounding the Palais Royal and the Tuileries Garden are dotted with options that prioritize speed without sacrificing flavor. You can find everything from classic French bakeries serving jambon-beurre sandwiches to international chains offering familiar comforts.
The key to eating well near the Louvre is knowing where to look. If you stick strictly to the tourist traps directly facing the glass pyramid, you will likely overpay for mediocre food. However, if you are willing to walk just a few blocks into the 1st arrondissement, you will uncover the spots where locals grab their lunch breaks or where savvy travelers refuel efficiently.
This guide focuses on the best "grab-and-go" and fast casual spots that allow you to maximize your time. We have prioritized locations that offer high turnover, quality ingredients, and proximity to the museum’s main entrances. Whether you are craving a slice of pizza, a gourmet burger, or a fresh salad, you can find a quick fix within a ten-minute walk of the iconic pyramid.
Understanding that your time in Paris is precious, we have curated a list that balances speed with the quality you expect from French cuisine. The goal is to get you fed and back to sightseeing as quickly as possible, without forcing you to settle for a stale baguette from a souvenir shop. From hidden food courts to standalone kiosks, there is a diverse range of options to satisfy any palate.
Below, you will find a comprehensive list of the top fast food spots near the Louvre Museum. These selections have been chosen based on their proximity, speed of service, and reputation for consistency. Read on to discover where you can refuel quickly before diving back into the artistic treasures of Paris.

The wait staff was super nice and efficient throughout the experience. I did have the pizza, and unfortunately it wasn’t heated very well, which kind of took away from it a bit. That said, the flavor was honestly still really good even cold — just not ideal for pizza. Other than that, no complaints!

We were famished and didn’t want to leave the Louvre to find somewhere else to eat, so we tried this food court. There are a couple of food choices and coffee machines, it’s exactly what you expect from a food court. Considering the location, the prices aren’t outrageous, though some dishes could be a bit cheaper.
We didn’t enjoy the Thai rice dish we had, the chicken and potatoes were average. Both portions were good size, and the staff were nice. There’s ample seating available. The toilet costs 1.50/2 euros, which is ridiculous, even for paying customers. I guess the food court and the service are separate.
Javier★★☆☆☆
The chicken was so dry it could have been a prop. The potatoes/vegetables were mush and the side sauce looked okay. Don't waste your money.

We ate at pitaya and ordered pad thai and beef rice! Food court was clean and everyone was so nice!!!

We stopped by after landing in Paris and wanted to check out exclusive flavors for McDonald's in another country. Overall it was solid and felt like any other McDonald's.
I got the mango curry chicken sandwich, where you can really taste the mango and curry flavors. It was slightly sweet and very creamy. The lettuce is the same sad shredded lettuce you can find in the States. The chicken patty was also the standard texture and taste for a McDonald's.
They had wedge fries, which I think are better than the regular thin fries, but I prefer the potato-y texture so it may not be for everyone. It isn't a true McDonald's experience unless they forget a part of your order, and they forgot the cheese wedge fries, but a quick trip to the counter with the receipt got the matter resolved very quickly.
I do like how they put the fries in a silicone container so it is reusable. However, the waste situation was a bit confusing for me, as they had 3 different bins with pictures and no writing so I wasn't sure which one to throw things in. The pictures weren't of help.
The restrooms were hidden in the corner so a bit hard to find. It was not that clean but not too bad either, though some stalls lacked toilet paper so be sure to check before you go!

2026-05-18 Grateful to be blessed ✝️ with a McDonalds near the Louvre! Enjoyed a quick snacking at a reasonable price. To use the WC/ toilet/ 🚻 you have Press the very top button, then code, the very bottom button. Then turn the door handle counter clockwise. Open the door push or pull. Try again or ask for help if door does not open. 🚻 is not spacious. Open the door all the way to enter or exit 🚻. The toilet was a half toilet! Non-Europeans take note! Food was value for your money at this location!

This was an absolute joke. Ordered a single Coke had to wait over an hour even ask many times. How is it even possible for a fast-food restaurant to take that long... the staff seemed completely disorganized and didn't care at all. Calling this "fast food" is embarrassing. If you can't serve a Coke in under an hour, you seriously need to rethink how you run your restaurant.
Leandro Gutiérrez★☆☆☆☆
Fast food that isn’t fast food: 45 minutes of waiting for such a bad quality burger!
If you are hungry, do not come here !
If you are thirsty, the sodas are flat !
Karim★☆☆☆☆
Unless you have no other alternatives i would not advise you to go there. Long wait time even after 10PM, uncooked meat, they give out trays without the paper on it and lay the fries directly on the dirty fries. The staff looks overworked, should get more staff on peak time.

It was the most delicious Middle East food I had during my time in Paris. The taste, presentation and service were all excellent. Highly recommended..!!

Avoid at all costs. Requested carafe d’eau and was served bottled water at 5€ each. Two spaghetti plates, a burger, panini, and hot dog were charged at 93€, much higher than the menu price. The “3 fromage, tomate” panini had 1 slice of tomato… truly insulting.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I would advise tourists specifically to avoid this spot completely.

Absurdly expensive and dirty…
They charged me 6 euros for each soda, and one of them even had food inside the cup… absolutely disgusting. Each small plastic bottle of water cost 5 euros, which is an absolute rip-off!
Ice pops that cost 4 euros at Disney itself were 6 euros here… ridiculous!
This place is a total scam…
Daniel L★☆☆☆☆
Expensive prices, very dry chicken and tikka flavouring was next to no existent and flavourless. Chips were old and had been cooked in very old oil. Bread was definitely not like a fresh French baguette. Better to eat somewhere else.
Google Business and Art★★☆☆☆
The price What they are writing is different then what they will charge you, they say the price is for taking away. But they are writing it so small under the screen, not next to the price. I tried Doner kebab and there was a bit meat and the rest oof the sandwich was empty. The price is not matching with the quality

WORST THAI FOOD IN THE WORLD AND SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE
as an Asian myself, I am truly disturbed by both the food and service.
Taste nothing like actual Thai food and made me wait 20mins js for 2 bowls. Pad Thai was soya sauce and msg plus awful. My bowl had a chuck of dried rice stuck tgth?? (pic below)
Have not reached the service yet. 20mins and asked for my food to see 5 bowls alr made siting on the counter without beeping the beeper. Might hv been there for long that's why food not exactly hot.
Guy who looks indian threw the food at me without utensils when asked for utensils, threw 2 chopsticks at me. Where's the spoon for the rice? And he shld just quit if he doesn't want to serve properly.
another grp asking for their food had missing items and sold out items that they alr paid for. They didn't even receive their drinks while waiting.
Just close already cuz it's so bad, might as well go out and eat grass

Saying this was Thai food was a stretch. Very bland. The rice came cold and the chicken was overcooked and dry. They didn’t realize they messed up my order until 40 mins after ordering. Disappointed. There’s a McDonald’s around the corner. Go there instead.

WORST THAI FOOD I’VE TRIED! Pad thai tasted like a canton with lots of soy sauce! The crunchy chicken spring roll wasn’t crunchy at all! Photos posted! Staff’s weren't friendly. Overall wont recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Pitaya (Louvre Location)
Pitaya is a great fast-food option if you’re looking for something quick, flavorful, and a bit different from the usual Parisian bites. I visited the location near the Louvre, and everything was fast and tasty. I ordered the veggie Pad Thai, and it hit the spot — fresh, well-seasoned, and satisfying. A solid choice when you need a speedy meal without compromising on taste.

Lacks flavor. Tourist trap. AVOID. One of the worst Thai food restaurants I have been. For 17.90 euros, you get noodles, a lime wedge and a few pieces of overcooked shrimp. I had to go back and ask why it was missing the other ingredients. Then they were upset and then added the sprouts and some peanuts. No apologies. Avoid. Walk around the corner and find better flavor, good ingredients and good service.

After wandering around Paris in chilly, rainy, and totally nasty weather, Pret a Manger felt like exactly the kind of refuge we needed. The first thing I noticed was how much seating there was, and it was such a relief when your feet are tired and you just want to sit down somewhere warm for a bit.
It ended up being the perfect place to escape the damp evening and give my soaking wet boots time to dry off (a little). We settled in with a hot cup of tea and a small snack, which was easy in a country where we don't speak the language. Pret is a grab-and-go type of place where you make your selection from a large refrigerated case then carry it up to the register to pay. They have a great selection of freshly made food (sandwiches, salads, side dishes, desserts, and more), and their organic coffee is a big plus if you're in need of a proper pick-me-up.
I was especially hungry (and a little cranky, to be honest) after walking around all day in the bad weather, so I grabbed a small snack that turned out to be surprisingly high quality. It was kind of like a shrimp cocktail, but fresher and lighter, with bright flavors. Maybe it's because it's in Paris, but the ingredients felt a bit fancier than I expected. There was even fresh dill and lime in it, which made it feel extra refreshing and thoughtfully prepared.
Overall, Prêt à Manger is a reliable place to stop when you're out exploring Paris. Whether you need to warm up, rest your feet, or just grab something quick but tasty, this place does the job really well.

Stopped by this Pret and had such a memorable experience. The three guys working greeted me right away and struck up a conversation when they saw my camera. We ended up chatting for awhile, which made the whole visit feel so personal. After I took a photo of them, they surprised me with a free iced chai and a slice of carrot cake… and even offered me a classic French chocolate éclair on top of that. Such genuine kindness and energy. Completely made my day 😊📸

Savory crêpes here are so good that we ended up ordering a second one after finishing the first. Highly recommend the kebab + cheese + egg combination — super flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the banana chocolate crêpe for dessert and it was delicious too. Definitely worth a visit!

You will be missing out if you don’t eat here. The 6 gentlemen work like clockwork, knowing what the other is thinking. Efficient, friendly, small establishment that’s big on taste, value, and team work. The New York sandwich is great sandwich that starts with a nice crunch of the French baguette. The crepes are exceptionally large and loaded, and packed with flavour and freshness. This is a bucket list restaurant for lunch that’s outstanding value. My kids loved the food. You guys are brilliant, thank you.

Happy Café was such a fun stop for us—definitely one we’ll remember!
We ordered two Nutella crepes, a Kinder Bueno crepe, a Nutella crepe with pistachio ice cream, and a marshmallow-topped donut, and everything was delicious. The crepes were warm, soft, and generously filled (we clearly couldn’t get enough of the Nutella 😄). The Kinder Bueno crepe was super indulgent and perfect for chocolate lovers, and the Nutella crepe with pistachio ice cream was a great combo—rich, creamy, and a little different. The donut topped with marshmallows was also a fun, sweet treat.
But by far, the highlight was the owner. He was absolutely hilarious and created such a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. He made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, which really made the whole experience stand out.
Great desserts, amazing vibes, and an owner who truly makes the place special—we’d definitely come back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best Milkshakes and coffee in opposite big wheel. Paris – Bon Appétit!
If you’re looking for one of the best milkshakes in Paris, this place is a must-visit! The milkshakes are incredibly rich, creamy, and perfectly blended with high-quality ingredients. Every sip is packed with flavor, and the presentation is just as impressive as the taste.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re craving a classic chocolate shake or something more indulgent, you won’t be disappointed.
Highly recommended for anyone with a sweet tooth. Bon appétit!

Happy Café definitely lives up to its name. The people here are genuinely kind, friendly, and seem to enjoy what they do. The menu has plenty of great options, and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. You can really see why it’s called Happy Café. It’s not just the food, it’s the people. We’d happily come back the next time we’re in Paris.
One small thing that really stood out: one of our orders was taking a little longer than expected, and since it was such a hot day, the staff brought us complimentary lemon drinks while we waited to make sure we stayed hydrated. It’s little gestures like that which turn a good meal into a memorable experience.

All the burgers were delicious (our fave was the Bartholome) especially with the added perk of 50% off via The Fork! Service was friendly, ambience can’t be faulted.

Super friendly staff and cute place. Chicken burgers and chicken tenders were super tasty. Love the fries as well
Leevis★★★★★
As an American who's eaten burgers all over the U.S.—including New York, Texas, and California—I never expected the best burger I'd ever have to be in Paris. But Big Fernand completely exceeded every expectation.
The burger was phenomenal. The beef was perfectly seasoned all the way through, the French cheese was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the bacon and caramelized onions brought everything together perfectly. Every ingredient tasted high quality, and the fries were just as impressive.
On top of the amazing food, the prices were extremely reasonable, especially for such a central location in Paris. The staff were welcoming, and they even provided complimentary water, which was a thoughtful touch.
If you're visiting Paris and love burgers, do yourself a favor and eat here. It's an absolute hidden gem and easily one of the best meals I had during my trip.

was served the smallest sundae I’ve ever received, and it was missing the caramel I paid for. When it was finally added, there was no apology or explanation. The portion size was unacceptable and poor value for money.

The food was extremely disappointing — bland, poorly made, and tasted like it had no freshness at all. Definitely not what you’d expect, even from a fast-food place.
What really ruined the experience were the washrooms. They were in terrible condition — dirty, smelly, and clearly not maintained properly. For a busy location in Paris, that’s unacceptable.

Disappointing experience at this McDonald's. The ordering screens were not working properly and there was a long queue. On top of that, it took about 30 minutes to receive my order, and the service was very slow. To make matters worse, the floor was quite dirty. There is a lot of room for improvement in terms of organization, speed, and cleanliness.
Prices were higher compared to other McDonald's locations in France, which made the experience even less satisfying.
Jap Jap Bird★☆☆☆☆
Possibly the slowest “fast food” experience on Earth — almost impressive for all the wrong reasons.
We waited around one hour for our food. When we finally asked about the order, instead of helping resolve the situation, the manager simply directed us back to the waiting area to continue waiting indefinitely.
What concerned me even more was the hygiene. I observed several staff members handling buns and burgers in ways that appeared unhygienic, while the dining area itself was also dirty, with tables and seats seemingly not being cleaned frequently enough.
For a McDonald’s located inside one of the world’s most famous tourist attractions, the Louvre, this level of service and cleanliness was extremely disappointing.
A one-hour wait at a fast-food restaurant is almost comical. If the goal was to introduce me to the French slow-life philosophy, mission accomplished.

Tips for Eating Fast Food Near the Louvre
Navigating the dining scene around a major tourist attraction can be tricky, as prices fluctuate and quality varies wildly from street to street. To ensure you have a pleasant and efficient meal, it helps to adopt the habits of local Parisians. The following tips are designed to help you avoid common pitfalls, save money, and find the best quick bites without wandering too far from the museum’s grounds.
- Avoid the Immediate Perimeter: The cafes and stands with a direct view of the Pyramid often charge a premium for the view rather than the food. Walk just two or three blocks north towards Rue Saint-Honoré or east towards Rue de Richelieu to find better quality and more reasonable prices.
- Utilize the "Formule" (Set Menu): Many fast casual spots and bakeries offer a lunch "formule" or set menu. This usually includes a main item, a drink, and a dessert or side at a discounted rate compared to buying items individually.
- Embrace the Bakery (Boulangerie): For the fastest and often most authentic meal, look for a traditional boulangerie. A baguette sandwich (like ham and butter or chicken and crudités) is a portable, cheap, and quintessentially Parisian way to eat lunch on the go.
- Consider the Time of Day: Parisians eat lunch strictly between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. If you eat outside these hours, you will find shorter lines and faster service. If you must eat at noon, expect queues at the most popular spots.
- Check for Takeaway vs. Dine-in Pricing: In France, some establishments charge different prices depending on whether you sit at a table or take your food to go. If you are on a budget or in a hurry, always opt for "à emporter" (takeaway) to save money.
- Head to the Food Halls: The nearby Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores, while a bit of a walk, house high-end food halls. These are excellent for a quick, varied meal where everyone in your group can choose something different from gourmet stalls.
While the Louvre demands your attention for hours, your meal does not have to. The neighborhood surrounding the museum has adapted to the influx of international visitors by offering a wide variety of fast dining options that cater to different budgets and tastes. By stepping slightly off the beaten path, you can enjoy a quick slice of Parisian life without derailing your itinerary.
Ultimately, the best fast food near the Louvre is the meal that gets you back to the art feeling refreshed and satisfied. Whether you opt for a flaky pastry, a savory crêpe, or a quick burger, knowing your options allows you to spend less time waiting in line for food and more time enjoying the masterpieces waiting inside the museum walls.
