Standing beneath the wrought-iron lattice of the Eiffel Tower, hunger often strikes as suddenly as the urge to take another photo. While the 7th arrondissement is famous for its fine dining and chic bistros, the reality of a busy sightseeing day usually calls for speed, convenience, and flavor that doesn’t break the bank.
Whether you have just descended from the viewing deck or are about to begin a long climb, you need sustenance that keeps up with your itinerary. The area surrounding the Champ de Mars and Trocadéro is surprisingly well-equipped for those craving a quick bite.
From iconic American burger chains to beloved French bakeries serving sandwiches on fresh baguettes, the neighborhood offers a diverse range of fast-casual options. You do not have to wander far from the iron lady to find a satisfying meal that gets you back to exploring in minutes.
However, navigating a foreign food scene can be tricky when you are short on time and your feet are tired from walking. You want to know which spots are actually close, which ones offer the best value, and where you can grab a seat for a few minutes to recharge. That is precisely what this guide aims to solve.
We have scoured the streets radiating out from the Eiffel Tower to find the most reliable fast food spots that cater to tourists and locals alike. This list prioritizes proximity, consistency, and speed, ensuring you don’t waste precious vacation time searching for a mediocre meal. You will find options ranging from global staples to distinctly French quick-service counters.
Whether you are traveling with picky children who need familiar chicken nuggets or you are an adult craving a gourmet hot dog with a French twist, there is a spot here for you. We understand that “fast food” in Paris often comes with a higher quality standard than elsewhere, so we have included places that honor that reputation.
Here is our curated selection of the best quick-service restaurants located within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, ensuring you can refuel efficiently and deliciously.

Eiffel Burger – Quick lunch near the tower
We found Eiffel Burger after visiting the Eiffel Tower and it was exactly what we needed at the time. We had been out since 9:00am, it was around 1:30pm, and with two hungry children aged 8 and 11, speed and simplicity mattered.
First impressions
After looking at some of the restaurants on the main strip, which were busy and a bit more expensive than we wanted for a quick lunch, we headed down a side street and came across this place.
It is very small. Probably around 12 seats in total. It feels more like a takeaway burger spot than a sit-down restaurant, but the fact they offer seating is a real bonus. We were greeted warmly and shown to a table straight away, which was appreciated.
Food and value
The menu is focused on burgers, but there is a decent variety including chicken, fish, steak wraps, and salads.
All four of us chose different burgers. I went for a bacon double cheeseburger with chilli sauce, which had a good kick and was really enjoyable. The burgers tasted more like homemade than typical fast food. Not greasy, and the beef felt like a decent quality.
I paid an extra €4 to upgrade to a meal with chips and a drink, bringing mine to €17 in total, which felt reasonable given the location and quality.
Service and experience
Service was quick, which was exactly what we needed. Food came out without a long wait, and that made a big difference with hungry children. People were coming in steadily throughout the lunch period, and the staff were efficient at clearing tables and turning them around.
It is clear that takeaway is the main focus, even though seating is available.
Atmosphere and space
This is not a fancy place. It is compact, busy, and functional. We stayed for about an hour, rested our legs, and it did the job well.
There is a toilet at the back, but it is very small. The space overall would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, and it would not be suitable for wheelchair access.
Location
It is about a 15-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, so it is a good option if you want to step away from the busiest tourist spots and find something a bit more relaxed.
Overall
If you are looking for a quick, tasty burger near the Eiffel Tower without the wait or the higher prices of the main restaurants, this is a great option.
Simple, fast, good quality, and very family friendly in terms of speed and ease. We would happily return.

We were pleasantly surprised by this little place. We were expecting it to be a tourist trap with extortionate prices for average quality but actually the menu deal was great - it’s around 10€ for a burger, fries and a drink which is a great find somewhere as expensive as Paris. The burger itself was surprisingly good quality as were the fries, they even gave us lots of sauce!
Would definitely recommend this place for a cheap meal to fill you up.

Tasty burger restaurant for a quick snack when touring around Paris. Prices were very fair and the food was ready quickly. Menu was simple and not overwhelming. That makes 5 stars!

The food was very good, great value and portion size. Fixed my order straight away when a slight error was made. Affordable considering it’s by the Eiffel Tower. Would definitely recommend to visit. It does have limited seating inside but it offers outdoor seating.

We went out late at night (11:30pm) and found this burger place. For the price they were selling the burgers, they are very reasonable and good as well. We quite enjoyed our burgers. I highly recommend.

The place could use a little more attention regarding organization and cleanliness. It’s small for a sit-down meal, but since we just went to grab a McFlurry, it was fine. It didn't take long, and the order was correct.

After walking around Paris all day and spending hours near the Eiffel Tower, this McDonald's was exactly what we needed. I know it sounds funny to travel all the way to France and end up at McDonald's, but sometimes you just want something familiar, quick, and affordable. The restaurant was surprisingly clean, modern, and well organized, especially considering how many tourists were coming through.
What really stood out was the atmosphere. Sitting upstairs with a view of the busy streets of Paris while enjoying a meal was a fun experience all by itself. The staff was friendly and patient with visitors from all over the world, and the service moved much faster than I expected. The food was fresh, hot, and honestly tasted a little better than the McDonald's back home. We also enjoyed trying some menu items that aren't available in the United States.
If you're visiting the Eiffel Tower and need a quick break from sightseeing, this is a great place to recharge, use the restroom, grab a meal, and rest your feet before heading back out to explore Paris. Not every travel memory has to be fancy, and this stop ended up being one of those unexpectedly enjoyable parts of our trip.
Marta Zatserkovna★★☆☆☆
The worst McDonald's I've ever been to. It's actually in the center of Paris, and you won't get any cleanliness or delicious food for that price. Waiting time ~ 10 minutes, although it's not very crowded. If you want to use the toilet, you'll have to go through a quest to find it (if it's on the -1 floor). It stinks terribly and there's no soap!!! There's no soap in the toilet!!
CP Mar★★★★★
We visited it twice last year during our trip to Paris. I must say I love this McDonalds branch. Nice two-storey location. It is cozy that I want to eat my food slow to enjoy the ambience especially at night.
For me, its interior design is better than what we have in North America.
Virginia Badioli★★★★☆
We want after dinner for a sweat treat, very peculiar because has may things that other mcs don’t have like many french pastries, macarons and so on… also the mc flurry is quite different. Unfortunately they have just few seated spots

I can truly recommend this place with all my heart. The food is excellent — everything tastes homemade and you can tell it’s prepared with care. I had a cheeseburger, and my girlfriend had the avocado burger. We’ve been eating burgers for years, but these were something special. Both of us were absolutely impressed, the flavors were amazing, the ingredients were fresh, and everything was perfectly balanced. One of the best burgers we’ve had in a long time. We will definitely come back!

The burgers and fries were delicious! Make sure you try their beer as they make it and was wonderful! We are for the USA and was one of the best meals we had! This is a must stop and is only a 16 minute walk from the Eiffel tour. You will be glad you went!!

Tasty burgers and great service!
The size and portions of the burgers are perfect, and they were prepared super quickly. Moreover, the service is kind and patient (which could be unusual in Paris).
Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu when coming to Paris!

These were great hamburgers, not your fast food chain burger at all. I order the Mexican, came with jalapeños! It’s was juicy and the buns were nicely buttered and toasted, the buns smelled so good. The fancy fries were delicious. Would definitely recommend. The missing star on atmosphere is because it was hot outside and A/C would give this place the 5th star.

Went here today, 09 Oct 2025, we ordered via the kiosks and whilst waiting for the food, I went to the toilet but was disappointed that I had to pay 1 euro to use the toilet when I had paid for 26 euros worth of food. The food ordered was a chicken sandwich which was the best thing on the list of items I ordered, the spicy beef sandwich was not spicy but very dry meat, the cheese balls were light and ok. Food comes very very quick, unfortunately so quick, it looks like its already cooked prio to the order. At about 4pm the place was less than 50% packed.

No wonder you think of McDonald's and Burger King when you're about to have a decent meal with a hamburger. But if you're in France and can find 'quick' nearby, you're lucky. Make sure to try a special hamburger with French flavor. A blue bun with blue cheese costs around E11 euros.

It was my first time trying quick in Paris and I ordered a Coke Zero. I asked nicely for a straw and she refused very rudely. Very unimpressed with the customer service. I will not be returning.

I bought a burger and asked if they could refill my water bottle for me (in a heatwave) and they told me no. The first time ever I’ve been refused by a fast food restaurant to do something so simple. I asked them in French as well to be as polite as possible. Burger was ok.

Walking past the Eiffel Tower, we came across this place and decided to stop for some ice cream — and I have to say, it was some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had! I had the strawberry and vanilla mix and it was sooo good. 🍓🍦
I also loved how clean everything was — no flies around, everything looked fresh and well looked after.
Most importantly, we were served by Rania and Moussa, who were absolutely lovely. Such friendly, welcoming service with a smile. We enjoyed it so much that we had to take a picture and leave a review!

I don’t understand how a restaurant with such high prices can offer such poor customer service. The Asian cleaning staff member on the upper floor was completely unprofessional and lacked basic respect for families and children.
When we arrived, I politely asked him if a table overlooking the street was available. It was dirty with food leftover from previous customers. He cleaned it reluctantly and with an angry attitude.
Later, to respect the restaurant's self-service policy, I left my 5-year-old daughter at the table for a moment to clear our trays into the trash bins myself. Even though he saw me properly emptying the trays while keeping an eye on my young child, he approached me aggressively, lecturing me on how to empty the plates properly and where to put the cups, telling me "not to leave anything behind!"
This was deeply insulting and completely unacceptable. I followed all the rules respectfully from the moment I arrived, yet I was treated with unnecessary hostility. A global brand charging premium prices should train its staff on basic customer service, professionalism, and how to respect families with young children.

the taste of the burger is very good in some ways similar to max burger. Fries are cooked Amsterdam style and the quality is very high, we ordered the large but to be honest it was little too much. Staff (kitchen, security and all) were kind and welcoming.

Solid American-style burgers with juicy meat and generous portions. I like that you can customize everything, and the fries are plentiful (they really don’t hold back). Quality is consistent, though prices are on the higher side for fast food especially in Paris.

Horrible service. I ordered with pay at the counter. Waited for 20 minutes. Got swayed off with "pay there" but no one came. They made my order without calling it out. Still no one came to help me. Then after another 10 minutes she came and said "sorry. Re-do it." And had to wait another 10 minutes. Not time one wants to waste in a fast food restaurant.
Al More★☆☆☆☆
Unfortunately, this was my worst experience at a fast-food restaurant—in fact, the absolute worst ever. 1. There is no information about meal contents on the ordering screens; some items are listed using abbreviations, forcing customers to choose based on appearance, only to be surprised by unwanted ingredients like bacon. 2. There is no regard for customers who do not eat bacon, as if their entire clientele belonged to a single culture. 3. The staff member handing out orders does not speak to you at all, even when asked a question. 4. Drinks are served in glass cups, yet they refuse to provide a straw—demonstrating a lack of concern for public health and the transmission of germs between customers. 5. The drink was not cold enough and was served without ice, contrary to what was requested. I do not recommend visiting—in fact, I strongly advise against visiting Burger King in France altogether.
Mehrdad Zeinali★★☆☆☆
We were there today at around 4 PM.
The staff’s behavior was very rude, especially the few employees standing at the front and calling out the orders. The sandwiches were served cold.
I also asked for a glass of water, politely saying, “If it’s not a problem, could I have a glass of water?” One of the employees replied, “Ça me dérange” (“That bothers me”).
Overall, a very disappointing experience. Save your money and don’t waste it here.

For some reason, I just had to try the McDonald's in Paris and get my fix of the 'Bacon Royal with Cheese'! After all, walking around the entire morning made me hungry, and this McDonald's was right in my path. The staff are super friendly, even though they spoke little English, but somehow, I got my order in. And space was plenty, except that the crowds were also plenty. At the end of the day, this was a great experience in Paris, and whenever I travel around the world, I make it a point to try the local McDs!

A nice restaurant in an upscale area. Wife said a bathroom attendant was charging a fee to use the toilet, which i thought was weird. The store was very crowded.

We visited the McDonald’s near the Arc de Triomphe and had a good experience. There were multiple kiosks, which made ordering easy, and the service was very quick. We especially enjoyed the McCafé treats. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it a convenient stop while exploring Paris.

Food quality: below criticism (photo attached).
Humanity: zero.
There was strong, cold wind blowing, so our group of 8 people + 1 dog wanted to step inside. Since there was no pictogram and no written sign stating that dogs are not allowed, we entered with my shivering dog — only into the entrance area — so we wouldn’t disturb anyone while the rest of the family was ordering.
After half a minute, the security guard forced us out. I repeatedly pointed out that there was no sign prohibiting dogs. Despite this, he became louder and louder, shouting “OUT!”
We then sat outside in the freezing cold and waited for the others.
Later, I received something that could barely be called food.
The only positive thing was that the hot chocolate was perfectly made and the barista was very nice.
I honestly hope the place goes bankrupt and gets replaced by an O’tacos or another more decent food chain.
Annette W★★★☆☆
Staff is super. Everyone I interacted with or observed was working diligently, fast, and with friendly professionalism.
The fries were perfect McDonald's standard.
The burger buns were some if the best I've had.
The meat patties were tiny and dry.
The thing that drags the restaurant down is the complete lack of napkins. Meals don't come with napkins. There are no napkin dispensers. And if the answer to that is that I should have asked at the counter, then I am going to argue that counter staff should ask whether I want/need napkins along when they offer ketchup for the fries.
The lack of napkins is exacerbated by the ridiculous long lines for the bathroom. They should offer a handwashing station outside of the bathrooms for those customers who don't need the toilet but prefer clean hands before and after eating.

It is impossibly impractical and totally unexpected to encounter such rude McDonald’s staff and management on such a consistent basis ! Is it Paris?
I ate way too many hamburgers and ‘chicken ‘ nuggets last night at this 119 Rue St Lazare McDonald’s.
But I like McDonald’s so I found myself here again this morning dying of thirst and with an impeachment of a headache brewing like the McCafe I just bought a few moments earlier at the Gare St Lazare location ( vastly improved since I suggested they spruce up the place)
But at first I was told that I could not have a glass of water with a little ice .. I defeated this folly of a statement from the cashier .. ( hey i order drinks and usually take no ice .. so my ice credit surplus must be in the thousands of cubes )
I wolfed downed this small glass of icy life savers waters … but in my ignorant folly I asked for some more water ( Oliver Twist style) … “please Madamme can I have some more water , I ate too many burgers and ‘ chicken ‘ nuggets “
To my agastment ( yes ) … I was told by the manager that I am allowed only 1 glass of water ( sans glaçons) .. my headache laughed and I was silently crying and cringing at the same instant..
as these nuggets and burgers drew the liquids from my nether regions , I decided not to argue nor to go drink from the toilettes.. ( I still have in my pockets the 3 toilets access tokens from our purchases yesterday night )
PLEASE MCDONALDS MANAGER. …causing a paying loyal customer to flee is not cool !
Please review your 1 glass of water per customer policy !
Now my Taiwanese colleagues ( yes those same one who manufacture your microchips think they are to blame because according to them
, nobody in France likes people from Taiwan … so they refuse to ever visit another McDonald’s ever again ( nerds do not get out much )
Anyhow I took my gruel bowl ( empty water cup ) to the reservation only seafood restaurant next door .. and they gladly invited me in and gave me water and mints .
They were surprised that McDonald’s did not have enough water !
Anyhow I will post some images of the restaurant MOLLARD that saved my life !
Come on McDonalds 119 rue st lazare 75008 . Teach your coworkers and employees common decency . Do not ration water to a Mc Nugget over eater !
Thumbs down ! BOOOOOOO!

Amazing restaurant!
Why is it amazing:
* Service is amazing
* Food is served warmed and quickly.
* Taste and texture is very nice.
* Drinks are good.
We reached here very hungry and though it was a little busy we got our spot relatively quickly. 10 min wait.
Food served by super friendly staff and with fast paced.
Can't thank them enough as we had a super hungry 4 year old .
Their fries and chips are properly seasoned and are not overwhelming and neither are they too oily.

disappointing service, my double patty tofu burger came out extremely salty, it semt it had half a litre of soy sauce. in al transparency i did order a double tofu burger, and perhaps the standard is fine.
i ate half of it but couldn’t get through it and flagged it to the (seemingly) manager and he said he’d comp it off the bill (he offered, i didnt specifically request this).
when i got the bill they just removed 4€ off my burger for “not finishing it”. don’t understand the point of promising something to the customer and then backtracking without any transparency.
the toilets were dirty and just a disappointing experience.
edit: not sure how removing the tofu is a solution to a tofu based burger. again I did not request them to comp anything, I am well aware I left half of it and was happy to pay for it, just don't find the manager to have been transparent. his English was good and he said he'd comp it, there was no misunderstanding there, he just changed version.
might I add he avoided my gaze the entire time his colleague was preparing my bill. I waited for my partner to leave the (dirty) bathroom and the manager went out to smoke, and conveniently avoided my gaze the whole time. salty food was not the issue as much as his attitude. the other server was lovely.

I came here since it first opened it’s a nice place.
The food is great the portions are huge. The staff are welcoming.
There are menus and signs in English.
The toilets were clean with air fresheners. The table was clean. I always bring friends to this restaurant when i visit Paris. Win.

I thought for sure this restaurant would be slammed at lunch on a summer day, given its proximity to tourist attractions, but there were several empty seats and the service was quick! The food was amazing; the ebi burger was the absolute winner, and pair it with the tornado potato (good for sharing). A great inexpensive stop for a delicious lunch.

A small eatery along the Seine. It looks like cheap Chinese fast food, but it is not.
The burgers are really tasty with a fusion flavor.
The buns are soft but firm, soaking up the toppings.
The service is quick and friendly.
I enjoyed it very much.
Tips for Eating Fast Food near the Eiffel Tower
Before you rush off to grab a bite, there are a few local nuances that can save you money and improve your experience. Dining near a major landmark often comes with inflated prices and crowded dining rooms, but knowing how to navigate the system can make all the difference. Here is how to eat smart in this iconic neighborhood.
1). Avoid Peak Lunch Hours
The restaurants immediately surrounding the Eiffel Tower fill up rapidly between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, especially on weekends. If you want to avoid long lines and the struggle to find a table, try to eat an early lunch at 11:30 AM or a late lunch after 2:30 PM. This gives you more room to relax and faster service.
2). Look for the “Formule” or “Menu” Deals
Even at fast food spots and bakeries, French establishments often offer set meal deals known as a formule. This usually includes a main item, a side, and a drink for a lower price than buying items individually. Always glance at the overhead menu board for these combo options, as they provide the best value for budget-conscious travelers.
3). Embrace the Takeaway Culture
While many fast food spots have seating, the area around the Champ de Mars is one of the best picnic locations in the world. If the weather is pleasant, order your food “à emporter” (to go) and walk to the park. You get a million-dollar view of the Eiffel Tower with your meal, and you avoid the noisy, cramped dining rooms.
4). Check for Kiosks and Bakeries for Cheaper Eats
The most expensive fast food is often found in sit-down chain restaurants on the main avenues. For a cheaper and arguably more authentic Parisian experience, look for corner bakeries (boulangeries) or street kiosks. They sell sandwiches, quiches, and pastries that are often fresher and more affordable than standard burger chains.
5). Validate Your Parking or Check Wi-Fi
If you drove to the area or are relying on public transport, be aware that some of the larger fast food chains offer free Wi-Fi, which is useful for tourists without data plans. Use the time you spend eating to plan your next route or download tickets for your next attraction, maximizing your efficiency.
The area surrounding the Eiffel Tower is more than just a photo opportunity; it is a functional neighborhood with a vibrant food scene that caters to every budget. Choosing a fast food spot here does not mean sacrificing the Parisian experience; in fact, grabbing a quick bite and sitting on the grass of the Champ de Mars is a favorite local pastime. It allows you to soak in the atmosphere without the formality of a long, multi-course meal.
As you continue your exploration of the City of Light, remember that the best meal is often the one that fits your schedule and your mood. Whether you opt for a classic French crêpe from a stand or a familiar burger from a global chain, the proximity to the tower makes it taste a little bit better. Enjoy your meal and the magnificent view.
