12 Best Hotels Near Setas de Sevilla

Standing in the shadow of the Setas de Sevilla, officially known as the Metropol Parasol, you are looking at one of the most striking pieces of modern architecture in Europe. Its undulating wooden canopy, often compared to giant mushrooms or waffles, has become a symbol of the city’s seamless blend of the ancient and the avant-garde. Located in the heart of the old town, this cultural hub houses an archaeological museum, a bustling market, and a panoramic walkway offering sweeping views of the Andalusian capital.

Choosing to stay near this landmark places you in the vibrant Plaza de la EncarnaciΓ³n area, a neighborhood pulsing with authentic Sevillian life. You are steps away from tapas bars, boutique shopping, and the winding alleys that lead to the cathedral and the AlcΓ‘zar. It is the perfect base for travelers who want to be in the center of the action, yet still enjoy the quiet of a well-appointed room at the end of a long day of sightseeing.

The area surrounding the Setas is diverse, offering a range of accommodations that cater to every type of traveler. From intimate boutique hotels tucked into restored manor houses to modern establishments with rooftop pools overlooking the wooden lattice, the choices are plentiful. Because the structure is centrally located, most of the city’s main attractions are accessible on foot, saving you time and money on transport.

When selecting a hotel in this district, it is important to consider the layout of the old town. Many streets are pedestrian-only, which means you may need to walk a short distance from a taxi drop-off point to the hotel entrance. However, this minor inconvenience is a small price to pay for the authentic atmosphere and the relative quiet of a traffic-free zone.

The best hotels near the Setas de Sevilla combine comfort with a strong sense of place. You will find interiors decorated with traditional azulejo tiles, central courtyards filled with the scent of orange trees, and staff who are deeply knowledgeable about the local flamenco scene and dining reservations. These properties often occupy historic buildings that have been carefully modernized to meet the expectations of today’s discerning traveler.

Whether you are visiting for a weekend city break or a longer exploration of Andalusia, your choice of lodging will significantly impact your experience. Staying here means you can enjoy an early morning coffee while watching the city wake up beneath the wooden canopy, or enjoy a late-night drink with the illuminated structure as your backdrop. It is an experience that connects you directly to the pulse of Seville.

Below, we have curated a list of the finest places to stay within walking distance of this architectural marvel, ensuring you find the perfect match for your style and budget.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel during our trip to Seville. The location is excellent - right beside Las Setas and within easy walking distance of the cathedral and main shopping areas. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was quiet, clean, and beautifully decorated. Our room on the first floor was comfortable and well kept. The only small downside was some street noise at night due to people passing by, though this is no fault of the hotel. We also really appreciated being able to store our luggage on departure day as we had a late flight. Overall, a great stay and we’d happily recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay here. A lovely building in an excellent location. Spacious. clean rooms (not all with windows tho'). An extremely comfortable bed! The staff are just lovely and very accommodating. There is clearly an issue with space tho' - the dining room is very small and can only accommodate a limited number of people. There is an outside patio, but if it rains, it cannot be used and people have to wait to be seated. Today it rained and a lot of people came down for breakfast at the same time which meant that some had to wait. The man preparing the food was clearly irritated / stressed. and it was all very awkward. A real pity. That was the only glitch. Apart from that, a great stay abd can thoroughly recommend.

The absolute worst experience ever! We reserved 3 rooms and every room was dated and not very clean. One of the rooms smelled of urine. As soon as we made our way to our rooms, a man came out in his towel only and started saying to keep it down very rudely. We have 2 toddlers and an infant with us. We hadn’t even made it inside our rooms when the front desk called and said someone complained about the noise. All the rooms face an open Terrance so there’s no way to pass another room without them hearing it. Then the wife of this man came out and started calling us animals and telling us to go back to our country. She started cursing and yelling in front of the toddlers with us. She literally created chaos within 5 mins of us being there! The receptionist came up and witnessed it but didn’t do anything about it! Didn’t tell them to stop being rude and racist! We went out and came back and simply walking to the room and took the baby out of the stroller and another guest came out and started harassing us about the noise! Again, front desk didn’t assist in any way. We spoke to them and said it’s obviously not a safe or welcoming environment for us to stay here with the kids. They refused to refund us. No management is on site for us to speak with. My sister had to leave in the late night and take her babies to another hotel because people kept being rude and racist to her family even if the baby made one sound. They haven’t refunded her and she had to find other accommodations after a full day of travel with 2 kids under 3! My brothers family and I could not find another hotel available so late so we got stuck having to stay here! It is completely unacceptable for a β€œfamily friendly” hotel to have such an issue with any sort of noise coming from babies!! We have NEVER experienced such behavior towards kids in any place we have ever stayed! The rooms are incredibly small, no room to even walk or accommodate your luggage properly. The cleanliness in the bathroom is not up to par. There is NO sound proofing at all! 0/10 experience! ABSOLUTELY do NOT stay here! This place is disgraceful!

Arrived to celebrate my birthday in Sevilla, this is like taken out of a Faulty Towers scene... Got room 2 & 3 bottom floor. Our double was for sure a single room. All four of us did not get any sleep since the noice from the reception came into the rooms. Toilet dripping and smells like a toilet tank... When telling the reception the first thing she says is that the rooms are fine! I politely asked if she had been sleeping in the room with a smirk as reply. Asked if a manager was around, -no day off... without seeking a solution. I pay to SLEEP in a hotel, non of us could. Day in Sevilla was a day in a lousy hotel trying to catch up on some sleep instead, really disappointed!
Mark Humphreysβ˜…β˜…β˜…β˜†β˜†
Initial impression wasn't good it's located down a side street with graffiti all around. The lady that took our details was pleasant and helpful and first impressions of inside the hotel were pleasant the architecture of the building is interesting. It definitely has a cross over between Spanish and "Moorerish"styling. This is the second Soho boutique hotel we have stayed in l wouldn't use this chain of hotels again lm afraid l'm not impressed. Seville as a place to visit is not for me l found it far too busy the people rude and far too noisy but that is just my personal opinion apparently others love it? I can only speak off my experience the hotel is located approximately 25 minutes from the Cathedral and the palace walking. on a plus point it is located centrally for the old town but with that comes the noise so if you're looking for a quiet stay this is definitely not the place. To sum up for me not a pleasant visit and l certainly would visit Seville or the hotel again.

We chose this hotel because of its location and because it had a pool. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooftop pool was nice and has great views across the city but there was no shade really. We upgraded our room and the view was of the Setas. I’d recommend this hotel but think we’d get more from the pool in the slightly cooler months.

We stayed at the Abba hotel for 3 nights and couldn’t ask for more. The room was super clean, perfect location, insane view to the Setas, great and very polite staff. Rooftop bar and view is also to die for. Don’t have anything bad to say! Thank you guys for making our trip to Seville so unique and for sure we will be back. πŸ™‚

This was our second time staying at abba Sevilla β€” two years in a row β€” and we loved it just as much as the first time. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of everything and close to almost all major sights. The staff were lovely, and we watched the Semana Santa processions from our room with the colourful lights of the Seta in the backdrop, which was incredible. Well, that's the reason we chose to stay at abba. The rooms are clean (albeit small), breakfast is good, the amenities are solid, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the rooftop bar is a great bonus. Overall, it’s a place we genuinely enjoy, which is why we returned again this year. Just a couple of small things we wish had been different: There always seem to be quite a lot of flies near the hotel entrance (this was the case last year too). During Semana Santa, a row of rubbish bins was placed directly in front of the entrance, which didn’t help with the fly situation. Aside from these minor points, we truly enjoyed our stay at abba Sevilla and would happily come back again

Abba Sevilla Hotel is in a very central location. It is a safe, clean hotel with a great atmosphere. The terrace is perfect for having a drink in the evening. The rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were attentive and helpful. The view from the hotel is also very nice. The only problem is that the hotel’s sound insulation is very poor. There was a lot of noise coming from the sides and from the upper floor. Even the cleaning noise could be heard easily. When someone in the room next door or upstairs used the shower, the sound of running water was very loud. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Bang in the middle of everything. Gorgeous rooms, very clean. Good selection for breakfast both hot amd cold. Roof top sundeck and bar with pool was a touch, with outstanding views 360 of Sevilla.

Perfect location, everything is in walking distance. The rooms are clean but dark and dingy. The breakfast is very very poor and basic not worth €12 a day. It is cheaper to eat at Starbucks. The hotel is very dated and needs an uplift. No TV or basic Kettle in room, worn out furniture. No facilities for drink on the evening or even a hot drink. Dont think I would stay here again. There is no net in the windows so your in a dark room all the time. Staff were brillant.

I had a great experience with this hotel because of the staff. The staff earned the 5-star review. I did not like the room selected for me, it had an odd layout and an odor issue. The hotel was empty, I am sure they could have selected a better room with a view to las beautiful Setas, or something better but it was disappointing. One thing I liked was the decor, it was vintage and modern at the same time. Super cool. The staff on the other hand was amazing, the breakfast attendant (a lady with a Colombian accent πŸ™‚ ) was the sweetest The breakfast selection was great and the price absolutely reasonable. All the front desk agents I interacted with were a delight, especially the ones who checked me in and out. I left a precious object behind and they made sure to contact me in a timely manner to go over and retrieve it, I loved that gesture. By the time I checked out, I felt they were my family. The hotel is located in a great accessible area, I walked everywhere and because it is right in front of Las Setas, it is very easy to find, you won't get lost ever! The terrace was closed but I was given the key to go up and enjoy the view πŸ™‚ I recommend this hotel if you to Sevilla.

Loved this hotel. Ideal location with a view of the Setas from our room. Breakfast was included and there was lots of choice. All the staff were very polite and helpful. Well worth the money. We just booked directly with the hotel. Their communication was brilliant. We will definitely stay there again .

Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Reception Service The location of the hotel is excellent and perfect for exploring Seville on foot. The breakfast buffet is small but sufficient. However, we missed having some fresh vegetables. The coffee from the machine in the breakfast area was not to our taste, but there is another coffee machine directly opposite the buffet that serves much better coffee. An important note regarding the garage and arrival by car: We arrived at around 11:00 PM. At first, we thought it would be impossible to reach the hotel by car because the square in front of the hotel was full of people. We parked briefly and walked to the reception. The receptionist was extremely helpful. He came with us to the car and personally guided us through the crowd to the garage entrance. Therefore, don’t be alarmed if the area looks inaccessible. You are allowed to drive through the square, even when many people are walking around. It is a popular meeting place with many bars and restaurants, and local residents also use this route to access their garages. Simply drive very slowly and carefully. To reach the hotel garage, you may have to ignore some of the traffic signs immediately around the hotel, as access appears to be an exception for hotel guests and residents. Of course, all other traffic regulations should be respected. A very special thank you goes to the gentleman working the night shift at the reception, originally from Peru. Unfortunately, we did not catch his name, but his kindness and helpfulness deserve special recognition. One negative point concerns cleanliness. Only when we were leaving did we notice the condition of the mattresses beneath the bed sheets. They were heavily stained and dirty, which left a very unhygienic impression. This is definitely an area that needs improvement.

We had a fantastic stay at OD Hotels Seville and I cannot speak highly enough of the team. The level of customer service throughout our stay was genuinely exceptional. A special thank you to Paula and Maria, and an even bigger thank you to Rocio, who made breakfast a seamless and memorable experience every morning. Her warmth, professionalism and attention to detail really stood out and made each day start on a positive note. We were visiting to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday and the hotel kindly left a birthday surprise in our room, which was such a thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated. Our room on the 5th floor was spotless, comfortable and surprisingly quiet despite being in such a central location. The hotel’s position is excellent just steps away from the food market and Las Setas, with countless tapas bars, restaurants and places for drinks right outside the door. The location made it easy to explore the city on foot. In fact, we only needed to take a taxi once during our stay (excluding airport transfers), and that was only because we were heading to the Triana riverside area. Even then, it’s only around a 25-minute walk if you prefer to walk. A wonderful hotel with an outstanding team. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seville.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Marina and the bar team were very nice and friendly. She gave me some great recommendations for places to visit around the city. We would definitely stay here again. The room was well equipped and very clean. It had an espresso machine and a Bose speaker that could be connected via Bluetooth. The AC worked really well, which was perfect because it was very hot two weeks ago.

Our stay at Ocean Drive Sevilla was exceptional from beginning to end. The hotel's location is outstanding, directly across from the Setas, creating a beautiful spectacle every evening, especially if you have a room overlooking the square. Watching the lights and atmosphere come alive each night was one of the highlights of our trip. What truly sets this hotel apart, however, is its incredible team. Carlos at the front desk went above and beyond throughout our entire stay. He was always professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best possible experience. Maria and Paula were equally wonderful, always welcoming us with genuine smiles and a willingness to help with anything we needed. The exceptional service continued in the restaurant and bar, where Michelle, Aldo, and Pablo were absolutely fantastic every single day. Their friendliness, attention to detail, and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The hotel itself is spotless, modern, and beautifully maintained, but it is the people who make Ocean Drive Sevilla such a special place. The entire team creates an atmosphere that makes you want to extend your stay and come back again. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The receptionists are extremely friendly and all smiles upon check in, restaurant staff greet me whenever I step through those doors. Even the housekeepers would greet me with "Hola" everyday I see them. They gave me the perfect room on the upper floors, with a fantastic balcony view of Las Setas, complete with lightshow every night. The rooms are certainly not big (as mentioned in other reviews), but they're by no means small. Room is comfortable, cozy, well designed, quiet and very clean. Breakfast in the restaurant is just perfect, serving some amazing eggs and bacons from the menu. Location is obviously good, directly in front of the Las Setas mushrooms. Plenty of restaurants around this area too. The highlight of this hotel is definitely the friendly staff working there. I wish I had stayed longer here, and I can't recommend this hotel enough. If you're ever in Sevilla, do consider this hotel.

Home away from home,Β a fantastic stay! Great location and views. I loved eating in the lounge and looking out the windowΒ atΒ a vibrant social space surrounding the SetasΒ sculpture. I got the same views from my room. Keep in mind other hotels look right into another building, or you walk outΒ into aΒ narrow, dark alley. Also, no need to leave the hotel for food. The food there is delicious. The breakfast is pretty much all you can eat, and delivered to your table warm (as opposed to sitting in the buffet for hours). But really, it was the staff that made my stay a memorable one. They were extremely attentive and personable. They have a great culture and good energy. I can't say enough good things about them, specifically Marina, Rocio, Vicky, and Aldo. They're the absolute best!

The worst hotel experience of my life, it was scandalous. For some reason we had no electricity in our room and they did not care to fix it. When we tried to talk with them, they just told us to fix it with booking and call them. Eventually they told us to get another hotel, because they couldn’t do anything for us. We were stranded in 41Β°C Sevilla without anywhere to go. Never felt so terribly treated in an hotel!

The hotel is located in a lovely old and well maintained old building which is located a 100 meters away from β€žLas Setasβ€œ. I found the information provided by the hotel through messages very helpful and considerate: it gave info about checkin procedures but also recommendations for places to see and restaurants etc. The staff was superfriendly. I liked my single room which looked modern and provided a comfy bed, desk/chair, wardrobe, aircon, ensuite bathroom (hairdryer) and a tv. Everything was very clean.

The hotel room was not clean. There was also an automatic air freshener being sprayed every few minutes. Trying to cover up the musty smell. Stains on the furniture. Very nice hotel at a perfect location! This hotel is β€˜simple’ but really nice. The rooms are very stylish and nice decorated, there is a public area, with couches and lockers. Very nice feature of this hotel! The location is perfect, everything is at a walking distance. There is one thing to be aware of. At first we were given a room on the ground floor and next to the street. When I asked to get another room, the receptionist was very friendly and tried to help. At that moment there was no other room available. So for the first night we had to sleep there. The fact that it was a Thursday and december helped. So it was not very noisy. But it still is a room with a lot of street noise. For the second night we got another room and that was absolutely perfect. There are 2 rooms located at the street and those are not the best to have, especially in the summer and weekend, when there are a lot of people outdoors. It is a pity, because the rest of the hotel is really nice and quit.

Highly recommend. I had a nice time on my trip. They do have strict cancellation policies so make sure you can go if you book the trip. They are also not able to accommodate if you want to leave a day early. The room is very nice and clean. You can ask for a kettle and more coffee pods, if you need. I liked that the hotel is on a plaza so there is not car traffic and it's nice to come home to a plaza of orange trees and people sitting on benches and the church bells going off each hour.

Amazing location, perfect size room, clean, very cheap, and I felt so safe here as a solo traveller. My only negative feedback is that walls are genuinely paper thin. Luckily it was only on my last night but a large group of school aged teens checked in and they were so loud. The combination of their excitement and the super thin walls made it so I could hear every conversation CLEARLY and every foot step. It made it difficult to sleep or relax - so if you’re a light sleeper, beware.

The hotel's location is excellent, not far from the bus terminal, and convenient for visiting all the attractions. The lobby and courtyard are very beautiful. The lady at the front desk during check-in was very friendly. However, the male staff members on other days couldn't even be bothered to reply when I proactively greeted them; only one gentleman was more friendly. The room was very clean, and the housekeeping staff were also very kind. Although there is a bar in the plaza downstairs, I couldn't hear any noise in the room. It was more cost-effective to book and pay in advance due to the discount.

Check-in: Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We got lucky and they let us check in a couple hours early. Room: Overall cleanliness was good. Bathroom had a nice shower and was very clean. Only complaint is that we had some small ants in the room (but only a few). Some noise from neighbors, but this is to be expected in the city center. Location: Excellent location for anything in / near the city center. Overall a great budget option. We were only there for one night but would have happily stayed longer.

What did I like most about the accommodation? A modern, very clean hotel with an excellent location, just a short walk from the historic city centre and Seville’s main attractions. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and made a real effort to communicate with us, making our stay very enjoyable. The room was comfortable and had excellent air conditioning. Although the check-in information stated that towels would only be changed every three days, our room was cleaned daily, the bed was made, and the towels were replaced every day. What I didn't like about the accommodation? For two days, only one of the hotel's two elevators was in service, which caused some waiting times. In addition, while the rooms and reception area were very well air-conditioned, the corridors and stairwells were not, making it a little uncomfortable to move around the hotel during the summer heat. I also missed having a mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cold, which would have been very useful given the consistently high temperatures in the city in the summer. Finally, in my opinion, the cafΓ© next to the hotel could offer better quality coffee ( I’m not sure if it belongs to the Hotel or is a different business operating on the same building). Overall this hotel offers an excellent location, very friendly staff, and a comfortable stay with only a few minor areas for improvement. I would definitely recommend it!

The staff is exceptional, very friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are clean with working air conditioning. Definitely the biggest advantage is the location, everything is close to hotel, litterally walking distance and area is really safe. My stay was very pleasant, if I will visit Sevilla again I will definitely stay in this hotel.

We had an amazing two-night stay at Letoh Letoh Sevilla, and it was honestly the best hotel experience of our Europe trip. Before our arrival, we emailed the hotel to ask if a complimentary room upgrade might be possible. To our surprise, the hotel kindly upgraded our room, and we really appreciated this thoughtful gesture. It made our graduation trip even more special. The hotel itself exceeded our expectations. The room was modern, spotless, comfortable, and very quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything felt well designed and carefully maintained. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Among all the hotels we stayed at in France, Italy, and Spain, this was the one that impressed us the most. In our opinion, it even surpassed many 4-star hotels we experienced elsewhere in Europe. We also fell in love with Seville. The city is beautiful, full of history, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere. The only downside was the summer heatβ€”it was much hotter than we expected! Even so, both my friend and I felt that two nights were far from enough, and we were genuinely sad to leave because our holiday had come to an end. Thank you to the entire Letoh Letoh Sevilla team for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely return to Seville in the future, and when we do, we would love to stay here again. We will happily recommend this hotel to our family and friends. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, but a very concerning experience after checkout The location is excellent and the hotel initially seemed like good value. However, more than five hours after checking out, we were charged €200 for an alleged smoking violation. Neither my wife nor I smoke, or have ever smoked, and we completely disputed the allegation. The hotel told us that the charge was based on a strong tobacco smell allegedly detected by three members of staff. They acknowledged that they had no photographs of cigarette ash or cigarette butts, and we were not provided with any physical evidence that smoking had occurred. We also weren't notified about the €200 charge before the money was taken. After the hotel maintained that the charge was valid, we asked Booking.com to investigate. Booking.com investigated and ultimately refunded the full €200. We are grateful to Booking.com for resolving the matter, but the experience has left us unwilling to stay here ever again. The location may be excellent, but guests should be aware of the hotel's €200 smoking charge and how it may be applied.

Excellent! From the minute I arrived and checked in I felt I was being looked after by the staff, ALL, they shown a genuine interest and everytime you walk in and out their always smiling and happy to say hello. The room I booked was the standard and I couldn't of asked for much better. Comfortable bed, YouTube on thd TV and a really powerful shower. The Hotel is so clean! And the location could not be better. Not even 2 minutes walk to the old Town and yet so so so quiet at night. If I'm back in Sevilla I will definitely stay here again! muchas gracias πŸ‘‹

Room was excellent, super clean and a really spacious bathroom. There was a window but it looked out on to other windows and the building so it wasn’t very useful for natural lighting as I kept the blinds closed. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, freshness of some of the pastries and fruit could be improved. But good value for what you’re paying

I would give this hotel a 10/10 purely for the breakfast, which had an incredible view over Seville, with palm trees and parrots nearby creating a very special atmosphere. Overall, the hotel is quite simple, but perfectly fine and comfortable. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room stayed pleasantly cool despite the +36Β°C heat outside. The significant downside was the lack of sound insulation from the corridor, you could hear everything and everyone passing by, which made it quite noisy at times. The location is excellent, right across the street from the entrance to the old pedestrian part of the city, making it very easy to explore Seville on foot.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Derby. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax after a full day of exploring the city. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions. The hotel's location was very convenient, with easy access to public transportation and many attractions nearby. The breakfast offered a good variety of fresh options, and the overall atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend Hotel Derby to anyone visiting the area. Thank you for the excellent hospitality!

First class situated hotel. Nerea & Carmen & the staff at reception & check-in were absolutely delightful. Nothing was too much trouble. Extremely helpful & pleasant. Room was a bit warm for my liking but l like the room to be cooler than most people & you can always change the temperature.

Booked this hotel through AmEx for 3 nights. The hotel lobby is clean and the hotel receptionist was polite, not exactly friendly. Our room was large, on the first floor. The room was clean but old and in need of some renovation. We decided to try the breakfast the next morning and I was very underwhelmed. It was very basic and not what I was accustomed to based on breakfasts I’ve had at other hotels in Spain. I’d advise to go somewhere else for breakfast. The location was pretty central and walkable.

The Hotel is very well located, we can reach anywhere we want by walking and the city is vibrant so we don’t feel the walk is hard. The rooms are average, not the best place to chill in the rooms but good enough to sleep well. However, we can hear everything happening in the hotel! There is no restaurant in the hotel, but it is located near to so many good restaurants. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They have a map to show you what to do in the city, ask for their recommendations!

we stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. It was extremely clean, and perfectly located. At the entrance of the hotel, coffee was offered to the guests, and there were coffee machines in the rooms as well. Daniel at the reception gave us very helpful and detailed information about Seville. I would especially like to thank him. All the staff were very kind and friendly. This is definitely a boutique hotel where I would stay again if I visit the city in the future.

β€œThis experience felt very close to false advertising.” Very disappointing and misleading experience. We booked this hotel through Booking.com around 11:00 in the morning based on the photos shown in the listing. We arrived at the hotel around 12:00, and we had already filed a complaint, because what we saw had nothing to do with the photos. The room we were assigned was located directly behind the reception desk and looked more like a storage or service area than a proper hotel room. The window area was completely blocked with wooden boards, meaning the room had almost no natural light at all. The staff said the room was still being cleaned and refused to let us enter the room. They only showed it from outside, but even from there it was obvious that the room did not match the photos on Booking.com. The area in front of the room was also being used like a storage space, with random items placed there, making the whole place feel like a back-of-house storage area rather than a guest room corridor. To make matters worse, the person at the reception was extremely rude and not cooperative at all. Instead of trying to solve the problem, he made dismissive and inappropriate comments and showed no willingness to help. Even though we had just booked the room about an hour earlier and had not even entered the room, the hotel refused to refund the payment. As a result, we had to leave immediately and pay for another hotel nearby out of our own pocket. We filled out the official Hoja de Reclamaciones complaint form at the hotel and will submit it to the consumer authorities in AndalucΓa. I strongly advise future guests to be very careful before booking here, because what is advertised online does not reflect the actual conditions.

This hotel uses a spray tk probably combat bad odour. This spray is for me so aggresive, that I had headache from the odour. Since the room also has no window to the outside (only to the corridor), there is no chance to let in fresh air. The receptionis was very helpful in indicating that she cannot do anything since my type of room comes without outside windows (which is btw oppressing). She promised to not use the spray tomorrow, which does not solve my problem today... PS: after going back to ask if the room could be cancelled, the receptionist gave me a room without the spray.

My room was clean, the staff was friendly, nice location. However, the A/C unit on the wall dripped on the floor, the lighting could be improved (warmer), the toiletries offered could be improved, and the safe wouldn't lock.

Loved my 4 nights at this hotel. Perfect location within 15 min walk of main attractions and right on the edge of the Alfalfa shopping area. I loved the decor in public areas and room (see pics). My room, 120, was large with great air con and a fan, and also opening windows in main room and bathroom. Good storage, coffee machine and full length mirror. The lower floor breakfast restaurant with courtyard and water feature is beautiful. Breakfast buffet choice is quite extensive and you can also order from a menu. Rooftop pool and bar/food area is lovely and very welcome with the very hot weather. Nice to sip on a cocktail while in the pool looking out over the rooftops. The best thing about this hotel is its staff. Without exception, everyone was smiling and friendly, eager to help or give advice, and seem to genuinely enjoy their job. And for this I say a very big thank you.

Just checked out from a four night stay at H 10 Casa de la Plata, we had the most wonderful time. We loved our room with the city view it felt spacious, modern and super clean. The breakfast was wonderful with Γ  la carte and buffet options available. Home-made pastries and local ingredients available there was nothing missing at all. The rooftop pool is great for a dip to cool off in the Seville Summer heat, as well as enjoying a nice cold cocktail and enjoying the view. Seating/shade is limited but there is a fairly quick turnaround and we didn’t have any issues. Maybe a different story during high season. We experience the heat wave 38Β° and the Aircon in the room and around the hotel was fantastic and we were very comfortable. The location is fantastic. We managed to explore everywhere we wanted to go on foot even in the heat so many fantastic restaurants bars High Street shops and also boutique/secondhand shops. The area felt very safe even walking as a couple late at night. My partner managed to get a good rate booking directly with the hotel so we feel that we had good value for our stay. The service from all of the staff members was incredible and you can tell they are passionate about giving you the best experience possible. So thank you again for having us and making our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be back. Eleanor and Alex

What a fantastic stay! This is a beautiful, stylish hotel with a great atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. What really makes this hotel special is the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, it’s rare to experience such genuine hospitality. A special thank you to Cristina at the reception. She is such a kind-hearted person and took so much time to help us and make us feel welcome. We also loved the thoughtful little touches, like the complimentary champagne and the amenity kit. The rooftop pool is beautiful, and the view over the city is simply amazing. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

The staff as soon as we arrived were fantastic . So empathetic as they heard our story that we’d left our previous accommodation due to noise. We were given a cava as we checked in The hotel was stunning , clean bright and beautiful right in the centre with zero noise. The pool area was incredible with beautiful sunset views , soft music , clean furnishings and a bar serving food and drinks. The rooms spacious and elegant and most importantly quiet after a long day exploring Breakfast was extensive and tasty This is a hotel I highly recommend for an all over exceptional experience when in Seville , there is no doubt that I will come back and stay here πŸ™‚ Thank you to everyone that made it so special

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was excellent, clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The service was exceptional, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. The location was perfect, and the hotel was spotless and well organized. The only disappointment was the breakfast. Unfortunately, we did not find the breakfast up to the same high standard as the rest of the hotel. Apart from that, everything was excellent, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Tips for Booking a Hotel Near the Setas

To ensure your stay in Seville is as seamless and enjoyable as possible, there are several key factors to keep in mind when booking your accommodation. The historic center has unique characteristics that can affect your arrival, your sleep quality, and your overall comfort. By planning ahead and knowing what to expect, you can avoid common pitfalls and select a hotel that truly enhances your trip.

Book well in advance for spring and autumn. Seville is a top destination for Holy Week (Semana Santa) and the April Fair (Feria de Abril), as well as the pleasant months of May and October. Hotels near the Setas sell out quickly during these periods, and prices can triple. Secure your room at least three to six months ahead if you plan to travel during these peak times.

Consider the summer heat. Seville is one of the hottest cities in Europe, with temperatures often exceeding 40Β°C (104Β°F) in July and August. Ensure your chosen hotel offers strong air conditioning, and if possible, a rooftop pool or shaded terrace. You will be grateful for a cool retreat after a morning of sightseeing under the Andalusian sun.

Check for elevator access. Many boutique hotels in the old town are converted from historic buildings, and not all of them have elevators. If you have mobility concerns or heavy luggage, verify that the property has a lift or request a room on a lower floor. This is a crucial detail that is often overlooked until check-in.

Understand the pedestrian zone rules. The area around the Setas is largely restricted to local traffic and taxis. If you are arriving by car, you will need to park in a nearby public garage, such as the one at Plaza de la Concordia or Imagen. Contact your hotel in advance for specific directions and to ask if they offer discounted parking rates.

Look for soundproofing. The central location is wonderful for convenience, but it can also mean street noise, especially on weekends when the tapas bars are lively. Read recent reviews specifically mentioning noise levels, or request a room facing an interior courtyard. A quiet room will make a significant difference to the quality of your sleep.

Ask about rooftop views. Not all hotels near the Setas offer a direct view of the monument, as surrounding buildings can block sightlines. If seeing the structure from your room or rooftop terrace is important to you, check recent guest photos or contact the hotel directly to ask which room categories offer the best vantage point.

Choosing a hotel near the Setas de Sevilla places you at the geographic and cultural heart of the city. You will have the freedom to explore the labyrinthine streets of the Santa Cruz quarter, the bustling shopping avenues, and the authentic local markets, all without needing to rely on public transport. The convenience of being able to pop back to your room for a siesta or to drop off shopping bags cannot be overstated.

Ultimately, the right hotel will serve as a peaceful sanctuary amid the vibrant energy of Seville. Whether you prefer a luxurious rooftop terrace with a cocktail in hand or a minimalist room with a view of the wooden canopy, staying in this neighborhood ensures that your visit to the capital of Andalusia is memorable, comfortable, and deeply connected to the spirit of the city.
