We stumbled upon Kozy Bosquet while exploring the 7th Arrondissement, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our morning in Paris. Breakfast was outstanding. The cappuccino was beautifully made, the drip coffee was rich and flavourful, the croissants were wonderfully flaky, and the breakfast sandwiches were fresh, generous, and absolutely delicious. And yes…the butter really is as good as everyone says it is in France! What really set Kozy apart, though, was the staff. They were warm, fun, professional, and genuinely engaging. They created the kind of relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to linger over your coffee. They also showed a wonderful bit of Parisian hospitality. My wife Rosa had bought a fresh baguette from a nearby boulangerie and asked if she could enjoy it with her breakfast. Rather than making an issue of it, they smiled and said it was perfectly fine. That small gesture spoke volumes about their confidence in their food and their focus on making customers feel welcome. Great food, excellent coffee, outstanding service, and a warm, neighbourhood atmosphere. If you’re looking for breakfast in the 7th Arrondissement, Kozy Bosquet is an easy five-star recommendation.

Kozy was one of the highlights of our trip to Paris! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We tried the latte banana bread matcha, capuccino, fresh juices key lime blast and verry berry tornado, pancakes fruits frais, sexy Benny egg, the breakfast egg bun bacon, and to finish it all off, a granola maison. Every single dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. My son was unstoppable! He finished the Sexy Benny egg, then the bacon and egg bun, and just when I thought he couldn’t eat another bite, he ordered the granola bowl because everything was simply too good to resist. 😂 I had the pancakes with fresh fruit and hazelnuts, and they were honestly some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. The staff deserve a special mention—they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. They spoke excellent English, which made everything so easy, and they genuinely made us feel at home. If you’re looking for an amazing brunch spot in Paris, don’t miss Kozy. Fantastic food, wonderful service, and a lovely atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back! ❤️

The food was great, everything we took was delicious. The coffees were also good, although i felt that the iced americano i took had a very strong taste. The setting was cute and cosy. However, It was very hot inside and there was no air conditioning.

We had brunch at this very small, popular spot. The food was really good and reasonably priced, and both the coffee and matcha were excellent. It’s easy to see why the place attracts a crowd. However, the queue was quite long and not the most pleasant wait. The main downside for me was cleanliness — the space didn’t feel particularly well maintained, and the bathroom was not something you’d want to use. Overall, good food and drinks, but the experience would be much better if the venue were cleaner and more comfortable
Su Su San★★★★☆
Food was good. French toast could have a bit more fruits rather than a big scoop of cream for the price u pay but it looks pretty. Not too filling. Toilet there's only one as one is out of service. Queue when I went there first so I didnt go. As soon as I went to Toilet again after paying bill, once I entered and locked the door, someone just started knocking. Quite rude. There was a queue again when I left. For that size, both toilet should be working. Cannot order online nor pay but can look at menu items online.

The place is cozy, calm and beautiful. The food is delicious, the coffee is good and the girl on the bar ia amazing - she is friendly, smily, helpful, positive, adaptive and all alone doing everything by herself- serving, cleaning, making coffee, etc I arrieved hungry but the kitchen was already closed, but she immediatly offered me a desert and a quiche Lorraine, which is delicious.

Stopped in for a coffee break during a walk around Paris, it was delightful! The interior is cheerful and vibrant, the coffee was just what we needed.
Chrissy Hunnell★★★★☆
The Quiche Lorraine was so delicious, my husband went to thank the chef! A great breakfast spot to visit before stopping by Musée Rodin.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and it was amazing. The waitress was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was unbelievable, I got the roast chicken and it fell right off the bone. One of our new favorite spots in Paris.

Cute cafe with a nice environment! The atmosphere and service were great, but the food was just ok. So if you care more about the vibes than taste, this place is great. They literally haul the menu board over lol The crème brûlée was good, but personally wasn’t a fan of the apple pie. It was sour? Maybe that’s the French way of making the pie though so I’m not too sure. Beef tartare was decent too.

A perfect example of what one hopes for in a Parisian restaurant. The place was lively when we arrived for lunch, yet we were quickly seated at a lovely table. Service was excellent throughout. The duck confit was exactly as it should be — crisp, golden skin and tender meat that falls effortlessly off the bone. The wine selection is good, though a bit on the pricey side. Overall, a great spot for well‑prepared food and a vibrant, authentic atmosphere.
Ana Valentine★★★★★
Everything we had was amazing. The Hugo spritz was perfect in a scorching day and the duck and steak were so tender. The staff were so welcoming and attentive. This was a top 3 meal for us during our week long stay.
Mike Morris★★★★★
Visited here for lunch today and tried the famous roasted chicken which was excellent. Tight but comfortable seating outside. We did not have a reservation on a Saturday lunch and had a 5-10 minute wait for a table. Service excellent, clean restrooms on lower level. Realized after we were seated Barefoot Contessa likes to frequent. Would recommend.
Florencia Cruz★★★★★
Great service and great food. It’s such a pleasure to have an experience like this, especially in Paris. I come back every year and always love it. A special thanks to our server, Romain, who was incredibly kind and attentive to me and my husband. We especially appreciated his effort to speak Spanish with us and explain everything, which really made our evening even more enjoyable and memorable. I would definitely recommend this place! Ps: the lamb shoulder it’s to die for!!!

Cafe Varenne is the dream classic Parsian bistro you hope to stumble upon for lunch except this one is so welcoming even to tourists. So kind and friendly with generous classics. Best fries ever. Highly recommend

I had the brunch they do on weekends and we were not disappointed! The food was great and we really enjoyed it. The garden is very cute as well. Only one thing: while still ordering we asked to change one order of the hot drinks and the waiter told us that we couldn’t change anymore our order even though we all were still ordering, a little weird and disappointing. Other than this episode everything was really good.
Brid★★★☆☆
A group of us came here a few weeks back for food and drinks. The drinks part was really lovely and pleasant aa the courtyard is really pretty especially during canicules but the food part was just awful. Most of us ordered the stracciatella salad and on paper it sounds incredible but the reality was just tasteless and not filling in any way, we were all super disappointed. My other friends ordered avocado toast but that was just ok. I took a brookie and it looked and tasted like a overproceesed dessert you would expect in a fast food place. For the prices they charge its just not acceptable. We did enjoy our drinks and the staff were nice.
Darcy Ruleman★★☆☆☆
Very very average meal for the price of the food, and service not brilliant. Despite choosing the meals included in the lunchtime set menu offer (avocado on toast, 17€, tiramisu in a mug, 12€) the waiter refused to give me the set menu price (meal+dessert at 21,50€ rather than 28€) because I didn't say as soon as I sat down I was ordering the set menu...Never had this problem in other restaurants. Will not come again and wouldn't recommend.
Margot★★★★☆
Great restaurant offering an ample terrace and tasty food. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Cozy and calm, ideal for a break and conveniently located close to the Gare de l'Est train station.

I was just walking by and saw the place. The staff was incredibly nice, the food was delicious, the place was lively and very nice. 10/10!!! 💗🌸🤩

Amazing food! We had cheesy croissant with delicious scrambled eggs as well as avocado toast with halloumi grillé. As a desert we got delicious pancakes. Very kind staff and nice atmosphere. Thank you!

Delicious food and drinks. Best smoothie and coffee specialities ever. Food all fresh and very tasty. Staff very friendly. Will return.

I have been looking for a good and relatively cheap açai bowl and to my surprise I finally found it! I wasn’t expecting much from this café but the açai bowl was delicious and the cheapest one I’ve found so far even though 10.50€ is still expensive (but it’s Paris so what do you expect). The man working there was nice and didn’t have a problem with me staying longer after I’d finished eating to do some work on my computer which was perfect, I’d definitely come back some day to do more work there and I’m sure I’ll be craving that açai bowl many times again! The only downside was that I saw a few ants/insects on some of the tables and on the floor which was a bit off putting, hopefully not a sign of bad hygiene!!
Magdalena★★★★★
Really lovely breakfast spot ☀️ Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious. You can really tell how much care goes into the food. Definitely worth a visit!

Really enjoyed this place. The vibe is cozy and relaxing, the coffee was good, and the overall experience was great. Definitely worth visiting if you’re looking for a nice café with good atmosphere and quality coffee. ☕✨
Tim Salikhov★★★★★
I stopped in alone and ended up lingering much longer than planned. The coffee sourcing here is clearly taken seriously—every cup feels intentional. The drink selection is thoughtful without being overwhelming, and my Americano was beautifully balanced, with deep chocolaty notes and a soft, nutty finish. Add a cozy, unpretentious atmosphere, and it’s the kind of place that quietly wins you over.
Spoonie★★★★☆
Nice, charming aesthetic and the server was really nice! the hot chocolate was a bit rich and madeleine was as you’d expect. more suitable for 1 person, not for coffee dates as atmosphere is very quiet and intimate 🙂
Michael Jordan★★★★★
Great flat white and cortado. All the cookie choices looked fantastic but our sea salt chocolate chip was a great choice!

Lovely spot in the heart of the 7eme arrondissement. The coffee is just amazing, the staff is friendly and the vibe is so cozy. A must try if you are in the mood for some speciality coffee. Also I love their golden and black lattes, 10/10.

Such a hidden gem in Paris. Very friendly staff and insanely delicious products (especially the matcha cookies). A must try if you are around and just wanna get a boost of energy!

Dialogues Coffee is my new favorite spot in Paris! Tucked away in the chic 7th arrondissement near the Eiffel Tower, this cozy little coffee shop delivers exactly what every coffee lover dreams of: exceptional specialty coffee in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The vibes are incredibly friendly and relaxed; think soft lighting, thoughtful decor, and baristas who genuinely love what they do. They take real care with their brews, and it shows: my cappuccino was perfectly balanced, rich, and smooth with beautiful crema. Whether you’re grabbing a quick espresso or settling in for a longer chat (the name ‘Dialogues’ feels so fitting!), this place makes you feel right at home. A true gem for specialty coffee fans avoiding the tourist traps. Highly recommend. 5/5 stars! ☕✨ Will definitely be back next time I’m in Paris.

Great ambiance, the interior is simple yet very beautiful! I Have been only going there for a while since it is in my neighborhood. My friend and I ordered salads; he had the Salade César, and I had the Salade De Mr Seguin. I absolutely loved my salad; the goat cheese and honey was delicious! If I lived nearby, I would order that salad multiple times a week. My friend enjoyed his salad as well. We also ordered a crêpe; I believe it was topped with raspberry jam, it was very good. We had a nice view of the Eiffel Tower, and the gentleman who served us was so kind and friendly. I will definitely return on my next trip to Paris.

5 Stars for Excellent Service from Belkacem, he is such a great & friendly man. So good at heart. After my breakfast he took me outside the Restaurant gave me his Binoculars to see Eiffel Tower. Let’s talk about Food- very good and great quality with Quantity. Place is just amazing, interiors is so Rich & classic and view of tower while having food, What’s else to ask.

Nice spot for a breakfast with Eiffel tower view. Took 12€ breakfast and the breads and orange juice were very nice. Would recommend for a brunch or breakfast if you are visiting Paris. Entrance is accessible for wheelchairs.
Natalie Dawn Jensen★★★★★
Really nice cake place. The place looks very fancy and the cake and tea is just as good as the place looks. I tried a really good rooibos tea (but they also have many others). They also have some really nice cakes (both more simple tasty bread-cakes and the more dekorative cakes). The staff were also really helpful and explained what was in everything.
Pino Ruiz Alvarez★☆☆☆☆
Terrible breakfast. Industrial pastries, industrial orange juice, lollipops (I am not kidding), terrible coffee and terrible scrambled eggs with topping (very poor quality of ingredients). I don’t understand how they have the nerve of charging 25€ for that breakfast

I wanted to leave a review about this wonderful restaurant. From the moment they took our order to when we left we had the best experience and were shown exceptional service! We ordered a take out pizza that was ready in literally 5 minutes! It was a perfect Neapolitan style pizza that melted in your mouth and tasted so good!! Highly recommend this place and look forward to trying more on the menu!

Went here on a whim before going to the museum. It was a nice spot with decent food. Above all, it was conveinant. It did feel a tad overpriced and nothing really stood out.

This place is awesome. We ordered a bottle of wine to enjoy the evening. It paired well with our truffle risotto and the pasta that was prepared in the Parmesan wheel. Our waiter was welcoming and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone in the area
Monique C★☆☆☆☆
The food was good, not great. I don’t believe it was worth the price I paid. I was also charged extra for the lasagna and other items I ordered. The final price was higher than what they advertised for their dishes of the day. If you come here, pay attention to the prices. Perhaps you should take a picture of everything you have ordered along with the price.
Andrew Reeves-Hall★★★★★
What a great find! A cosy restaurant with a large selection of Italian dishes, whether vegetarian, meat, or seafood is your choice. The service was attentive, friendly - even playful at times! - with not too much nor too little fuss. Sitting by the window was great for us to watch the world pass by as we enjoyed our first night of a mini break in Paris. The seafood dishes - they have octopus! - smelled and tasted great. I had the lasagne, and it was good without being overly rich. The tiramisu pudding was fluffy like a cloud in heaven. Little extras like garnished crackers served without asking at the start made the whole evening one to remember. The bottle of Merlot was especially flavourful and at a reasonable price. Indeed all the prices were good. Recommended.

last January 2026 ,I ate here with my aunt. we are very hungry and tired because we visit the army museum and napoleon tomb which is just 13-15 mins away from this place. If you are a tourist and you found that big restaurants overwhelm you and you just needed to grab a food that was both healthy and filling. you should go here instead, because its located in the ecole militaire and just a few minutes away to champ de mars. By the way, we ordered avocado toast with a side of bacon and a burrito and lots of drinks because we are so thirsty that water was not enough to quench our thirst. The avocado toast was the best and i love it so much , the salads were fresh and the avocado mixture tasted good as its not overripe. the burrito of course, did its job, its fulfilling. it has the right size and not oversize, the taste of the fillings are the best. The food made us so full and ready to take another walkathon trip around the neighborhood. The juice drink was so refreshing that can make you think how many oranges they squeezed in a day? and of course, the coffee was different it seems special, it smells so good. In addition to that, the servers are very accommodating and it was not busy hours i think because everything was served fast. they can speak english too. the ambiance, the food and service will make you feel at home even if you are in a foreign country. we wanted to have a good day that day, and Paris did not fail us. learning the history of french revolution was a rewarding experience and the restaurant experience adds up positively to it. All in all the food and experience to this restaurant is very satisfying.

Absolutely loved Zia! Went to their other restaurant Milagro and knew I had to come for some New Mexican brunch. The breakfast burrito is one of the best in the city. Service was amazing and the staff is very friendly. Will be coming back to try more delicious food!

My friend and I went for breakfast around 10am on a Thursday; there was no wait when we arrived, but by 10:30am a few more couples had been seated. We were told it gets pretty busy on the weekends and during peak season; it’s a small restaurant, so it fills up pretty quickly. My friend ordered the Dutch Baby Pancakes, and I ordered a plain Avocado Toast. I tried my friend’s dish, and it was delicious! The pancake was cooked perfectly. The edges were crispy and paired nicely with the eggs and bacon. My Avocado Toast was great, no complaints, but I’ll definitely order the Dutch Baby Pancakes next time! Our service was great; the girl who took care of us was very warm and welcoming!
Sasha★★★★★
We had the formule brunch each and the portion was really full, it included two drinks, one juice and a hot drink of choice, a yogurt and you could pick your own main. The food was very tasty and I also wanted to highlight the service we received. The server was super sweet and went the extra mile to even gave me an extra napkin to make sure my food didn’t spill on my dress. The matcha is also considerably one of the best I’ve had in Paris so far!
Alex★★☆☆☆
Tourist trap, everything on menu is catered towards Americans. 4 items on menu only, nothing French. “Fresh squeezed” orange juice straight out of a plastic bottle (see photos). Avocado toast is bad Dutch baby pancake is good Shakshouka is okay

I randomly came across this cafe and the food ended up being one of the highlight of my trip to Paris. I had the beef tartare which was incredibly fresh and well seasoned. The homemade fries were also absolutely delicious. The outdoor seating is great for people watching and enjoying a beer. The staff were very welcoming and attentive.

Dropped in for a pint ended with dinner. Service was long, World Cup could be the distraction. Once over, service resumed normal. Waiter was kind, food was good except for the fries, tiny cuts of it. Can’t even dip into the ketchup without messing up.

Great friendly atmosphere, fantastic food with excellent and very friendly service from Moussa, such a nice guy!! Steak was cooked perfectly, and the Beef tartare was very impressive. Overall a fab dining experience. Will definitely visit again next time we are in Paris. Merci from Newcastle.

A great little find after 'doing' the Louvre and walking past the designer shops on Rue Saint-Honore. We wanted somewhere typically French, with great food and a relaxed atmosphere. Cafe Concorde did not disappoint. The staff are friendly, service isn't rushed and the food was lovely. We had escargot, French onion soup, pork chop and duck breast. Lovely! There is plenty of indoor, and covered outdoor seating. When we left in the pouring rain, the inside was almost empty - outside was coming alive!

This restaurant has been on my list for several years already. Finally got the chance to manage a booking. This restaurant has lived up to all of my expectations on what quintessentially French Classic bistro should be, it's generous, a bit rustic, seasonal and with great sauces!! Some highlights: The poitrine de cochon et coques in sauce persillade is a great dish with a good balance of fat, freshness and the salinity of the cockles and lard. Cockles are cooked very tender and they are really fresh. Their signature dish "Vol au vent" is something I will always miss and dream about. The ris de veau and the poulet fermier are cook really good(perhaps the only thing I want is the sweetbread to be a bit crispier, I am being nitpicky here). However the star of this dish is definitely the jus truffé, it is perfectly seasoned, and reduced. I think they put vin jaune in the jus too, it gives such a nice depth to the sauce. Ended dinner with their other signature dish, profiterole, a show stopper. The dessert itself is very balanced, not overly sweet, the chocolate sauce is bittersweet. Very fun to eat and it is a perfect way to end this dinner. A very satisfying experience
Lily Fu★★★★★
Fabulous dinner at Cafe des Ministeres! Managed to get a reservation off the waitlist the evening before. We started with the foie gras, and shared the cabbage meatball and a vol-au-vent. The cabbage was unreal - the dab of crème fraiche was perfect on top. Perfect texture and rich. Loved the sweetbreads in the vol-au-vent and the sauce was so rich and beautiful. What a treat! The portions are quite large and my friend and I unfortunately did not have enough room to finish which I felt poorly about- which also meant no room for dessert although the flan looked delightful. We saw a man who ordered the flan, lick his plate! The service was incredibly kind, patient, and generous. Our servers were very busy (including bussing food from the kitchen across the street to the outdoor dining area) but were extremely warm. Would highly highly recommend! Next time I would like to try the anchovy salad (unsure of dish’s exact name) that the man sitting next to me had ordered.

Well balanced flavour for the dishes I ordered. The pork fat is interestingly balanced with the clam without either being over-powering. However, it is a slightly too salty. But the veal is a must have, You just cannot forget the umami-rich flavour once you finished. The wine is a simple yet pleasant complement to the dishes, adding a flare of French authentiticy. Four star because there are very perceptible sand in the clam, despite the waiteress claiming that they were all washed carefully before.

We had a wonderful dining experience at Café des Ministères. It’s THE place to go if you want to try some authentic, classic French cuisine. Bonus: It’s within walking distance of the Musée d’Orsay. We stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday before our visit to the museum. Reservation is a must because it was packed even on a weekday during lunch. This was our adventurous stop because neither my husband nor I have sampled a lot of authentic French cuisine and were quite nervous. But the food here really impressed us. We went with the steak with pepper sauce. Our waitress, who appeared to be the wife of the chef, told us it was different from American and British steaks and the sauce was quite spicy to make sure we were OK with it. Like she said, the steak was chewier, but it was cooked to perfection. And potatoes underneath were so crispy and delicious. Service was incredibly attentive even though we were sitting in a hidden corner. We would have stayed for dessert as well if we didn’t have timed tickets to the museum. This is one we will definitely return to for the full experience next time we’re in Paris!

Hands-down our favorite meal in Paris. We were lucky enough to be sat for lunch due to some cancelled reservations by other guests. Our time there was leisurely and the cockles almost brought me to tears they were so delicious. If planning on lunch with no reservation, get there by noon local time if you hope to have any shot of being sat. By around 1pm people were being turned away.

Practical Tips for Visiting Cafés near Les Invalides

The café culture in the 7th arrondissement is slightly more formal and reserved than in the trendy eastern neighborhoods of Paris. Understanding the local rhythm will help you blend in seamlessly and secure the best seats in these highly sought-after spaces.

Timing is everything. Most aesthetic cafés near Les Invalides are compact spaces with limited seating. Arrive within 30 minutes of opening or after the lunch rush (post-2:30 PM) to avoid waiting for a table, especially on weekends when Parisians gather for late brunches.

Check the "No Laptop" policies. While some specialty coffee shops welcome remote workers, many traditional Parisian salons de thé and aesthetic bakeries discourage laptops during peak lunch hours. If you need to work, look for the spots listed above that explicitly mention Wi-Fi or communal tables, and always order food, not just a single espresso, if you plan to stay long.

Embrace the terrace culture. Even in cooler weather, the terraces here offer prime people-watching opportunities. If you want the quintessential Parisian experience, request a seat "en terrasse" but be aware that smoking is often permitted outdoors, which may affect your comfort.

Dress the part. The 7th arrondissement is one of the most chic neighborhoods in Paris. While there is no strict dress code, you will feel more comfortable and receive warmer service if you avoid overly casual tourist attire. Smart casual is the sweet spot for blending in with the local clientele.

Bring cash for small purchases. While most established cafés accept credit cards, some smaller artisanal spots have minimum card spend limits (often €10 or €15). Having a €20 note on hand ensures you can grab a quick coffee and pastry without friction.

Respect the meal service. Many beautiful cafés in this district operate as full restaurants during lunch and dinner. If you only want coffee, avoid sitting at a table set with cutlery and wine glasses between 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM; opt for the counter or a designated café area instead.

The beauty of exploring cafés near Les Invalides lies in the contrast between the neighborhood’s monumental scale and the intimate, carefully curated interiors of these local spots. Each visit offers a chance to slow down and appreciate the French art of living, where a simple coffee break becomes a ritual of aesthetic pleasure.

Whether you choose a minimalist roastery with concrete floors or a gilded tearoom with velvet chairs, you are participating in a tradition that values presence over speed. So put away the map for a moment, order something decadent, and watch the golden light shift across the Haussmannian facades outside.
