10 Halal Restaurants near Pont Alexandre III

Finding a meal that respects both your faith and your appetite can turn a beautiful walk through Paris into a frustrating detour. The area surrounding Pont Alexandre III is one of the most visually stunning parts of the city, bridging the Esplanade des Invalides with the Grand Palais and Petit Palais. Yet, for Muslim visitors and locals seeking halal options, the immediate vicinity can feel surprisingly sparse compared to bustling neighborhoods like the 10th or 11th arrondissements.

The good news is that you do not have to sacrifice convenience or quality for your dietary requirements. While the gilded statues and sweeping views of the Seine are undeniably the main attraction, a short walk or a quick metro ride from the bridge will lead you to a diverse array of halal-certified kitchens. From gourmet French cuisine with a halal twist to authentic Levantine grills and North African tagines, the options are richer than you might expect.

This guide is designed to save you time and eliminate the anxiety of searching for a suitable place to eat after a long day of sightseeing. We have focused on restaurants that are either fully halal or widely recognized by the local Muslim community for their verified sourcing. We prioritize places that offer a genuine taste of Parisian gastronomy, ensuring that your dining experience matches the elegance of your surroundings.

Whether you are looking for a quick shawarma before visiting the Invalides or a sit-down dinner with a view after crossing the bridge, there is something here for you. We have considered proximity, ease of access, and the reliability of their halal status to provide a curated list that serves both tourists and locals. These establishments are known for their consistency, hospitality, and dedication to authentic flavors.

Before we dive into the specific recommendations, it is worth noting that Parisian dining hours can be stricter than in other capitals. Many kitchens close between lunch and dinner service, so planning your meal times around the standard French schedule—typically 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM—will ensure you are not left hungry. Additionally, while the bridge itself is a prime location for photos, venturing slightly into the 7th, 8th, or 15th arrondissements will open up a world of culinary possibilities.

Below, you will find a carefully selected list of the best halal restaurants located within a reasonable distance of Pont Alexandre III. Each entry has been chosen for its quality, reputation, and ability to provide a satisfying meal that allows you to focus on enjoying the beauty of Paris without compromising your values.

It is a must to try this restaurant especially for Muslim travellers. Amazing service, love the menu and the food! There is definitely something for everybody. Pls support this halal establishment if you are in Paris. On our recent visit there are no long lines for sure. The staff are humble and always helpful. Easy to get to on foot or by uber.

This is a short walk from Roosevelt Station, or about 15 mins walk from L’arc de Triomphe. We had dinner here, the service was decent as was the decor. The kids menus are superb, with very generous portions and will fill any child 7 or below easily. Drinks were super with great options. Lamb shank was delicious. However, the fried chicken steak and the house steak were quite dry and chewy, they were not great. That said, sides were all perfect. Gratin dauphinois was superb. The steak could have been an off-night (unlikely as we ordered two and they were the same!). Not amazing but still worth a visit as it’s not easy to get halal steak in Paris. All in all a great place to come and try.

The ambience is great..very cozy, chique vibes. Food comes out fast..ate mostly chicken. It's very rich and scrumptious. I couldn't finish all of it..but highly recommend. It's in a very trendy part of Paris. As a tourist I enjoyed it.

We were helped by Iman, and she was absolutely lovely! We arrived a little late, but she still helped us so kindly and made sure we had a great experience. She was very friendly, helpful, and professional. I would definitely come back here again. Iman is truly a top employee!

I discovered this halal restaurant online while visiting Paris, and it turned out to be quite easy to locate. I would definitely recommend booking in advance, as it can get fairly busy. The food itself was enjoyable. I had the hamburger, which was decent, while my partner ordered the chicken and rice dish, which was particularly well-prepared and full of flavour. Overall, the quality of the food and the convenient location made for a good dining experience. Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard of the food. The staff’s facial expressions and body language felt unwelcoming, which made us somewhat uncomfortable during our visit. To add to this, we were surprised when a tip was requested at the end, despite the lacklustre service. In summary, while the food and location are definite positives, the service leaves room for improvement.

★★★★★ Oulala truly lives up to its name — what a delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel comfortable without being overbearing, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. The food quality was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour — you can really taste the care and freshness in the ingredients. It felt like authentic French dining done right. The ambience tied everything together perfectly — cozy, elegant, and relaxed. Whether for a date night or a special gathering, Oulala creates the perfect setting. This was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in Paris. The fact that it’s halal makes it even better. I had the steak and the duck and both were amazing. I’m from Texas and I’ll say it straight up this steak tasted better than anything I’ve had back home. The owner Beja was super genuine and really took care of me. It was my first time ever trying duck and he was very patient and made sure I liked it which I definitely did lol. You can tell he actually cares about the food and the people he serves. Great food great vibes and great service. I would 100 percent come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris.

A nice halal rustique restaurant with a very comforting vibe. There was a lovely fire in the middle of the seating area, fast service and very nice food. The home made chips were absolutely amazing A+++ The pricing was very fair, I recommend to all who may be passing through

Delicious food!!! Went towards the end of the night and close to their kitchen closing time but they were still kind enough to accommodate us. Honestly one of the best places I’ve been to. Their food is authentically French and halal too. Honestly, one of the best places in Paris. The service is impeccable. Our server Anees was excellent - he was extremely attentive, made excellent suggestions, and was constantly checking in. It’s also quite busy well into the night. The French onion soup is particularly amazing, but everything on the menu deserves a try. Would definitely come back here.

A very authentic and comforting French dinner tonight in Paris. The fish soup had a rich fish flavour and felt very traditional. The Escalope Normande was tender, with a creamy mushroom Normandy sauce that had a slightly sour tang, making it feel genuinely French and rustic. They also served a complimentary tuna toast, which was a lovely surprise. The portions were very generous and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I wanted to order dessert too, but I was simply too full by the end!
Mimi★★★★★
The duck tasted better than any duck I’ve ever had. The French onion soup, duck, potatoes, and crème brûlée rounded out our meal and all were delicious. The chicken Normandy portion looked small but was more than enough.
dramanimegeek★★★★★
Great staffs and restaurant atmosphere. Ordered the duck confit, onion soup and creme brulee, everything was delicious. The serving could take some time to get to your table, but definitely worth it. The duck are so soft, the meat falling off the bones, french onion soup also very tasty that we keep munching it with the bread served. Located near to Gallerie Lafayette Haussman which you can enjoy Paris Eiffel Tower, very well located. I recommend for those who wish to enjoy Halal French cuisines.

We decided to try both the Butter chicken and the Lamb biriyani and finally topped it off with some malai Kulfi. I'm actually writing this review right now while enjoying a bite of the incredibly succulent pieces of butter chicken. Honestly, what a truly remarkable dish it is! This butter chicken had a genuine, pronounced flavor of butter that was unlike anything I've ever tasted before. Kudos to the chef making this masterpiece! আলহামদুলিল্লাহ!

We had a fantastic meal at New Jawad near the Eiffel Tower. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. We ordered the butter lamb, lamb masala, prawn pakora, chicken wings, seekh kebab, and a variety of mocktails – everything was spot on. A special mention to Bilal, who was outstanding. His service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. He really went above and beyond for our family. The mango lassi was especially good – definitely a must try! Highly recommend this place for great halal food and excellent service. We’ll definitely be coming back.

We had such a wonderful experience at Reviera Fuga! The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the whole evening felt genuinely special. A particular mention has to go to Mila, our waitress, who was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional throughout the evening. Mila went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves, and her lovely personality really added to the experience. It’s rare to come across service that feels so genuinely thoughtful, and Mila was a huge part of why we left with such a great impression. We’ll definitely be coming back to Reviera Fuga — and hopefully we’ll get to see Mila again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an excellent experience at Riviera Fuga! We ordered their signature dish with poulpe and ravioli, which was well executed. Despite arriving late with a reservation while the kitchen was close to shutting down, we were still warmly accommodated by the manager, something genuinely rare in Paris and very much appreciated. The wine tasting offered to help us choose our pairing was outstanding. The woman who guided us through it was highly professional, courteous, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. The service felt attentive without being intrusive. Add to that a beautiful view over the Seine, and the experience feels complete. We will definitely come back!!!
Naomi Thalenberg★★★★★
Lovely place, we went for lunch and had pasta dishes. The Misu was the best - get it. Our server Max was very nice and attentive. Also the hostess (I’m so sorry I forget her name, Enni?) - staff was all fabulous. Will definitely recommend and a great spot to escape the city and be right on the Sein.
Jacey Baumler★★★★★
We had an amazing evening at Riviera Fuga! Incredible atmosphere and views of the seine + food! We ordered the steak tartar cannoli, risotto, ravioli, and the tiramisu. As well as the saphire cocktail, so good! Everything was incredible and Emily was an awesome server - very attentive, kind, and had great recommendations! Highly recommend!
Massimiliano Lombardo★★★★★
Great place by/on the Seine, with beautiful (and not formal) ambiance. Romantic experience watching the boats cruising. I didn't try the food, but it looked good. I only had a drink, and a tasty coffee too. I'll come back many times!

The food at this restaurant was excellent overall. We started with the chicken spring rolls, which were decent and a good way to begin the meal. For the mains, I had the ribeye steak, which was rich in flavour and cooked very well. My partner chose the lamb shank, one of their best-selling dishes, and thoroughly enjoyed it, it was tender and satisfying. What truly stood out, however, was the service. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience. All in all, a great spot for both quality food and warm hospitality.
Zaid Y Ismail★★★★★
When searching for halal French cuisine Le Jumeyrah came up multiple times. Having visited two French establishments on my trip I would definitely recommend this one as the food definitely hit the spot with every dish being executed almost perfectly with the exception of the mashed potatoes which were just alright but not necessarily amazing. The duck which I had was perfectly cooked medium rare and accompanied by a robust soy glaze and sweet potato mash which made for an unexpected but brilliant combination. The service was also amazing with attentive waiters who made sure that our experience while at the restaurant was great. This place is a 10/10 and I would highly recommend it.

lovely spot for delicious halal food in paris, dishes were tasty and beautifully presented. service is excellent with attentive staff. definitely worth a visit for a nice dinner!
Omar Nawawi★★★★★
My wife and I had our first dine in Paris here for dinner and got to say, the service is friendly as well as attentive. We ordered Steak and Cheese Burger for the night and had no complaint. My only minor feedback was on the burger bun (BUT ITS JUST MY BIAS because I prefer a certain type) Overall, they were to kind but maybe was our first experience. TLDR; We're just happily satisfied with the night.
Wasim Afzal★★★★☆
Smart restaurant with upmarket decor . Trying to serve fine French cuisine. The lamb shank was amazing cooked slowly and falling off the bone. Unfortunately the Veal dish i had was poor. Really thin slices over cooked when i asked for medium and served with creamy pasta - it just didn’t go. The chicken pasty starter was nice and dessert was also good quality. Worth a visit but pick the steak or lamb

Shahriyor davronov★☆☆☆☆
very disappointed from their service. we just asked glass for our water but they said no. and also prices are expensive for such kind of small wraps and meals. Respect tourists who chose and come to your small cafe, guys. Update after the owner's response: I read the previous reviews, and almost 90% of the 1-star ratings mentioned the rude attitude of the staff. Unfortunately, I experienced the same thing myself. We simply asked for five glasses so we could drink the water we had with us. I don't think providing five glasses would have cost your business much. How we choose to spend our money and what we decide to drink is our own choice. Apparently, ordering your already expensive food wasn't enough, and even a few cups were considered too much to ask. As a result, in a crowded café, the five of us had to take turns drinking directly from a 1.5-liter bottle. Moments like these are what truly define the quality of customer service. Thank you for your "hospitality" and "kindness."
Chiara Jazmine Parrenas★★★★★
Got their assiettes classique and it was affordable and absolutely delicious! Great meal we had for breakfast and the staff was really nice. We especially loved the sauces they serve (we got samurai and ketchup). We also got some nice warm tea. Great experience overall for a quick meal!

VERY RUDE SERVER!!! We went here for a quick bite. We were going to grab food and either quickly eat there or take it to picnic at the eiffel tour. I like reading reviews before I go and people were taking about the good service. WHAT A LIE!!! My husband was ordering he was asked if it was take out or dine in. He said we'll dine in if that's cool, since they're were plenty others dining in, and was told that we couldn't dine in because dine in prices were more. So we said that's fine, we'll take it to go. But the server this whole time was practically yelling at my husband he was so rude. We ordered a pizza and 2 drinks and waited. As we were waking our, my husband grabbed our order while I grabbed our 2 drinks. The SAME GUY THAT TOOK ORDER AND WAS RUDE came yelling after us again demanding to see the receipt, which he never gave us, and asking us if we paid for the 2 drinks. HE TOOK OUR ORDER!! HE TOOK OUR MONEY!! And then embarrassingly putting us on the spot in front of everyone?!?! What an awful experience! It's cheaper than other places but not worth the service you'll get. The food is fine/ good. Nor horrible, but not amazing either. The pizza was very thin crust, which I actually enjoy but some may not. Flavours were good. Typing were also good, I would say not enough but they weren't skipped on either. Cheese was also a good cheese and enjoyable. I was actually excited about this place, chose them myself, and was so happy to be helping a fellow brother. But it really left a sour taste in my mouth.

Got the paprika chicken sandwich. Good size portion, decent prices and tastes really good. The kind owner also brought out the entire restaurant a lovely sweet warm tea. Highly recommend.

It was my first time trying Indian food, and it was a great experience overall. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the restaurant had a clean and pleasant atmosphere. We ordered naan and tandoori lamb as starters — they were good, though not exceptional. For the main courses, we had the butter chicken and butter shrimp, and they were absolutely amazing. The sauce was incredibly flavorful and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would happily come back again!

I was shopping in the area when I stumbled upon this place and since I love desi food I decided to try it out. I was not disappointed! I loved the butter chicken and garlic naan (pictured) and had the gulab jamun for dessert. The staff is so kind and gave me one on the house! Amazing food and amazing service, I highly recommend.

Two very special experiences we had in this restaurant- Foremost The Food: It was wonderful to say the least. My uncle and aunt visiting from India mentioned that this was better than what they had there ! Secondly The Service: It was warm and welcoming. The staff’s hospitality was marvellous, they frequently checked on us if everything was fine and need anything. This wonderful experience was topped when they offered us a sweet on the house ! Truly magnificent. Thank you Mr. Sandhu Charan Jit 🙂

Generous chicken! I have to admit! One thing is the waffle was cold .. but all the ingredients was amazing ! Avocado is sweet ! I recommend! Joachim Guzman is very good and mustard waffle easier. Curry mango and ranch sauce is very good !

The food is so good it is actually to die for. The restaurant is very spacious. It’s the perfect place for lunch and dinner. My favorite menu item is the Honey Brown Waffle. If you are visiting Paris you definitely want to give this place a try.

The honey waffle was absolutely delicious! The staff were very friendly and kind. I’d love to come back again during my trip!

From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere feels relaxed, cool, and welcoming, with a strong sense of personality. The staff are genuinely super friendly — warm, attentive, and always smiling. They take the time to explain the menu, offer recommendations, and make sure everyone feels comfortable, which really elevates the whole experience. The true star of Crispy Soul is their chicken and waffles, which is clearly their specialty and for very good reason. Perfectly crispy, golden fried chicken paired with soft, fluffy waffles creates an incredible balance of textures and flavors. The combination of savory, crunchy chicken with the slight sweetness of the waffles is simply addictive. Every bite feels indulgent, comforting, and expertly executed, showing real mastery of this iconic dish. Beyond the chicken and waffles, the rest of the menu is equally impressive. Each dish is packed with flavor, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. Crispy textures, rich sauces, and fresh ingredients come together in a way that feels both generous and refined. The vibe of the restaurant is another highlight stylish without trying too hard, lively yet cozy, and perfect for brunch, lunch, or a relaxed dinner with friends. Crispy Soul delivers on all fronts: outstanding food, amazing service, and a memorable atmosphere. A must-visit in the 11ᵉ. Highly recommended.
Aneta Minolová★★★★☆
This was my first time trying soul food and it was delicious. Chicken was crispy on the outside but juicy and tender on the inside and very nicely seasoned, the waffles were fluffy and sauces went very nicely with all the food. I'm so happy I got the chance to try it!

Tips for Dining Halal Near Pont Alexandre III

Navigating the Parisian food scene requires a bit of local knowledge, especially when you are trying to maintain a halal diet in a district known more for its museums than its mosques. While the restaurants listed above provide excellent starting points, these practical tips will help you navigate the area with confidence and ease. Understanding the local landscape, from verification methods to timing, will make your culinary journey as seamless as possible.

1. Verify with Visual Cues and Staff
While a restaurant might be listed as halal online, management can change. Always look for a physical halal certificate displayed near the entrance or behind the counter. If you are unsure, do not hesitate to politely ask the staff, "Est-ce que la viande est halal?" (Is the meat halal?). 2. Beware of "French" Restaurants Serving Pork
Traditional French brasseries near tourist hotspots often have menus heavy with pork products and alcohol. Even if a dish looks like chicken or beef, it may be cooked in non-halal fats or broths. Unless a restaurant specifically advertises itself as halal or "viande halal," it is safer to assume the meat is not permissible and stick to the verified locations on our list.

3. Check for Prayer Space at the Grand Mosque
If your visit coincides with prayer time, the Grand Mosque of Paris (Grande Mosquée de Paris) is located in the 5th arrondissement. While it is a metro ride away from the bridge, it offers a beautiful space for prayer and also houses a fantastic halal restaurant and tea room in its courtyard, making it a worthwhile cultural and spiritual detour.

4. Plan Around French Meal Times
Parisian restaurants, including halal ones, often close their kitchens between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM. If you find yourself hungry at 4:00 PM after walking through the Petit Palais, your options may be limited to fast-food style kebab shops or bakeries. Try to align your lunch and dinner schedules with local norms to access the full menus of the sit-down restaurants.

5. Explore the 15th Arrondissement (Commerce)
If you are willing to cross the Seine to the Left Bank and head south-west, the Commerce district in the 15th arrondissement is a hidden gem for halal food. It is a residential area with a high density of quality halal butchers and Middle Eastern eateries. It is a short bus or metro ride from the bridge and offers a more local, less tourist-inflated dining experience.

Walking along the Seine after a satisfying meal is one of the great pleasures of visiting Paris. The soft glow of the street lamps reflecting off the water, with the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower in the distance, creates a memory that lasts a lifetime. By choosing the right halal restaurant near Pont Alexandre III, you ensure that your energy levels are high and your mind is at ease, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the romance of the city.

Whether you opted for a quick bite of Lebanese street food or indulged in a refined Moroccan couscous, you have experienced a side of Paris that many visitors miss. The city’s halal dining scene is a testament to its diversity, proving that French culinary excellence and Islamic dietary laws can coexist beautifully. As you continue your journey, carry these recommendations with you and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing exactly where your next great meal is coming from.
