I got a Gel X manicure and one of my nails popped off within 3 hours of the service! For €62, I got a lumpy polish and a missing nail. I wanted to treat myself and get my nails done, but when I arrived, the staff were all huddled around the front desk with no one in the salon. I asked to book an appointment and they said they only had it for 1.5 hours later. Fine, whatever, I took the appointment. When I was getting the service, I noticed the girl was skipping steps that are normal for Gel X manicures (primer, base coat, dehydrator). They were also out of several colors to choose from. I am not a French speaker unfortunately and felt like I was being belittled by some of the staff because of those. I understand I am not a native speaker but I still try to be respectful of the culture and at the end of the day, I am paying for a service. I’m not sure how the reviews are so high for this place unless the standards are really low, but the overall experience was not great from the beginning and if I had more time, wouldn’t have bothered with this place form the moment I stepped in.
Very satisfied with my spa treatment, both waxing and facial. Stephanie is professional and extremely knowledgeable, she helped me figure out how to improve my skincare routine. I walked away feeling confident and empowered.

I really enjoyed the head spa experience. The massage was very relaxing and done very professionally. She really takes her time with you and doesn’t rush the session, which makes the experience even better. She also helped me understand my hair type and explained what my hair needs and how to take care of it properly. You can tell she really knows what she is doing. Like a student scrolling through social media, I relied on the videos posted on TikTok, which, on screen, seemed cool.
The salon was welcoming, but I felt the work done didn't live up to my expectations… but then again, "people are never happy."
Simply put, I wish I hadn't ruined my long hair with a balayage that, just a week after being done, already had harsh lines and three different colors…
At the salon, I couldn't say anything that I didn't necessarily like it because everyone agreed it looked good, and I didn't want to offend anyone. So yes, I lied, and I'm not afraid to admit it, but also out of respect for the professionals… especially when she tells you to leave a 5-star review on Google.
Before going somewhere, look at everything in detail and don't just cross your fingers hoping it won't be a flop. I think it's important to share our opinion even when things don't go well.

A week ago, I came in for a deep conditioning oil treatment, as my hair was in dire need of hydration. I also took the opportunity to ask for a light trim.
Pierre performed the treatment. I really appreciated his friendly and approachable manner; he's a very pleasant person who was particularly accommodating in rescheduling my appointment. However, I was disappointed with the way the service was performed, especially considering the price of €160.
I felt the treatment was done rather sloppily. They were supposed to use an infrared straightener, and after researching the proper methods, I realized the technique hadn't been applied correctly: the strands were too thick, and the work lacked structure and precision. I honestly felt a lack of experience.
This was also confirmed during the haircut. I simply asked him to adjust my layered cut, but I ended up with a very harsh, unlayered fringe that starts almost in the middle of my head. Despite pointing it out at the time, it was unfortunately too late to fix it. This is especially frustrating since this signature cut cost €70, and I'm ultimately very disappointed.
Pierre did, however, respect my wish not to cut much of the remaining length, which I appreciated because it's not always the case with hairdressers. Nevertheless, overall, I found the service rushed, lacking professionalism, care, and attention to detail.

I came to Salon Saint-Pierre for a haircut, and I have to say the experience was exceptional. I’m very demanding when it comes to my haircuts, and in three out of four salons I usually leave disappointed.
Here, it was the complete opposite. As soon as I arrived, they offered me a coffee, which immediately made me feel welcome. The staff were friendly, the service was impeccable, and most importantly, the haircut was exactly what I wanted. You can really tell they pay attention to every detail and take pride in their work.
This place truly stands out from the rest. Everything was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a high-quality haircut.
I recently went to La Salon Saint-Pierre and had a great experience. The stylist was friendly and very patient with my lack of French, and gave me an excellent haircut. I wish my regular stylist was as good as she is. Highly recommended!!
First of all, im a Finnish girl living in Miami for a long time. It was a spontaneous decision to have my hair done in France. I felt super lucky after reading all the wonderful reviews to get an appointment. I love Dolores!!!!! I don’t speak a word French ( pardon) but somehow everything worked out. The best hair cut ever!!! And the color was super!!! She’s the most talented hairdresser I’ve ever been to!! I’m picky!

Love the atmosphere there, very casual place with friendly hairdressers. Went there for a haircut because it was highly recommended by my friends, and the outcome was absolutely amazing. I booked an appointment with Ella as I saw her profile in their website that she speaks good English. I really appreciate that she takes her time to know what kind of hairstyle I want, and to know more about my lifestyle, and eventually gave me great suggestions on the kind of hairstyle that I would like and suitable for my face shape, hair texture and lifestyle.
All in all, it was an awesome experience, will definitely go back there!
I have moved recently to Bordeaux and was looking a hairdresser that knows to cut my hair short in the way to compliment shape of my face and not to make me look as my grandma (like so many of other french hairdressers did) I came with clear idea of what I want and had appointment with Lucas. Not only he did exactly what I wanted but was able to adapt (slightly) the desired hairstyle to my facial features. What a friendly place! I took a chance and popped in without an appointment. Despite my lack of French, I was able to communicate with the hair stylist, Said, a lovely haircut. A shampoo and a wonderful head massage, and a much-needed moisturizing treatment. Its very clear that he loves what he does and likes people. The passion shows in the details! I went back a week later with my husband, for a haircut for him, and he was just as kind and friendly to him. Very pleased with our haircuts. Thank you, Said! We'll be back!
I went for a haircut with Said based on my brother's recommendation! He is truly a legend, taking great care in the haircut itself, as well as making the customer feel very welcomed. When I return to Bordeaux, I will be visiting Said!
I cannot express how amazing this place is! I have never died my hair before and have been interested for a couple years. Walking around the town, I decided I would stop by shops to see if they could take a walk-in. I stumbled upon this shop. Said is the main man! There was a slight language barrier given I don’t speak any French and he spoke little English. But with Google translate, we were able to get the job done! He was very patient and did everything in his power to make sure the process was painless. Not only was I a last minute walk-in, but I have very long hair (which can be daunting for coloring services). It was no problem for Said. I left the salon feeling so beautiful with my new hair, so thankful for meeting someone who cared so much and shared so much about the culture of the community and his own. I highly recommend this salon and would take anyone who visits Bordeaux to see him!
