Finding the right place to stay can define your entire trip to Valencia. If you are heading to the city to watch Valencia CF play at the iconic Mestalla Stadium, the convenience of your hotel matters just as much as the quality of the mattress. Staying nearby means you can soak up the electric pre-match atmosphere in the surrounding bars and tapas joints without worrying about navigating public transport late at night.
The area around Mestalla is not just for football fans. It is a vibrant, upscale residential district that offers a more authentic local experience than the bustling tourist core of the Ciutat Vella. You are within walking distance of the Turia Gardens, the city’s magnificent green artery, yet still close enough to the historic center for sightseeing. This balance makes the neighborhood a strategic base for any traveler.
Choosing accommodation here offers a distinct advantage: accessibility. The stadium is well-connected by metro and bus, but staying within a short stroll allows you to avoid the crush of the post-match crowd. Instead of queuing for a taxi, you can simply walk back to your room, relax, and maybe grab a nightcap at a local terrace. It transforms a stressful commute into a pleasant evening walk.
The hospitality landscape around Avenida de Aragón and Avenida Blasco Ibáñez is diverse. You will find everything from sleek, design-forward boutiques to reliable, business-oriented chains that offer consistent comfort. Whether you are on a budget or looking to splash out on luxury, the streets surrounding the stadium have an option that fits your specific needs and travel style.
However, "near" can be a subjective term. Some hotels listed are literal doorsteps from the turnstiles, while others are a pleasant 10-to-15-minute walk away. This guide prioritizes properties that offer the best overall value—balancing proximity to the pitch with quality of sleep, amenities, and access to the rest of the city.
We have analyzed guest reviews, location data, and amenity packages to curate a list that serves both the die-hard football supporter and the curious urban explorer. You do not have to compromise on comfort just to secure a prime location for match day. These properties prove that convenience and quality can go hand in hand.
Below, you will find the best options for resting your head before and after the roar of the crowd. We have focused on places that offer reliable service, comfortable bedding, and that all-important easy walk to the stadium.

We chose this hotel because of its location close to the Polytechnic University as I was playing in a basketball tournament. The location turned out great for us. We could walk 15 minutes to the gym. Around the corner there was a good sized grocery store, clean Laundromat, and a few simple restaurants. Access to the buses, tram and metro lines are close by.
For us the rooms were just ok. They were clean and the staff did a great job keeping it clean during our stay. The issue was that we wanted a double room, but only a triple room was a available for the days of our stay. So that meant we have 3 twin beds. They were comfortable, but small. We also noticed that other rooms had a refrigerator and we would have liked one in our room. This should have been standard in all rooms. The only other issue is the position of the shower in the rooms. The way in and out was small - it least for me being a tall person - and it presented a situation that was awkward to move around and was slippery. I just had to be really careful.
The front desk was responsive to my pre arrival messages. The included breakfast had multiple options and was filling
The airport transfer through the hotel was expensive and driver was not waiting with a sign as promised. The only reason we went that route was because we arrived very late and and to make sure we had something in place to get to the hotel. It cost over 40 euros and a taxi ride back to the airport at end of our stay was only about 22 euros.

Property was excellent! Staff was kind, and our room was cleaned every day. We had half-board service and the food was amazing. There was plenty of options for breakfast, and dinner was different every day - drink + starter + main meal + dessert. Location is great, not far from city center, but has a great bus connection with center and the beach. I think this is amazing for the money we paid.

The hotel is in a convenient location, and the room cleaning service was good.
We booked a package with breakfast and dinner, and we really enjoyed everything 🙂 The dinners were especially delicious!
Special thanks to the staff who kindly arranged breakfast for us even though we were leaving early — we really appreciated that.
Also, many thanks to the receptionist, I believe her name was Florencia.
Although the room was spacious and clean, the shower drain didn’t work very well. Since I was traveling with my boyfriend, we had two single beds pushed together, which was not very comfortable.

Location is central, but very heavy traffic outside a big cross road. So parking is tough. There is a parking garage close by which the hotel has deal with...which I didn't know but parked to of desperation. If I didn't talk about the parking I would never know that they have a deal with them. Bad thing... So, with the hotel deal you pay 16 EUR, without (from 19 to 08) 46 EUR. Pure robbery!
The room felt like a basement, a bit spooky, but clean.
Breakfast was a 2 star out of 5. Not much to chose from, no vegetables. Didn't like it at all to be honest.

Wonderful service at the desk. Very helpful and pleasant people. That being said, it took a really long time for the room to cool off (a/c didn't work well), the breakfast was not great, e.g., the eggs were literally ice-cold, the juice was not fresh, and the pastries were...eh.

Although I had requested a double bed and our room had two single beds, it was a good stay overall. The hotel is not very modern, but it is well located. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beds weren't the comfiest, but okayish for a couple days. Our room was a bit noisy as it faced Port Avenue. For the price it's fine

Haven't stayed for a long time but what made me impression how spacious the rooms were, how much it offered for it's price. Honestly this has to be one of the best hotels in the city in terms of value for quality. One of my favorite hotels. The only negative i found about the hotel was the shower, was a little too small and not exactly the most convenient, especially if compared to the rest of the bathroom, overall it gets the job done.
Daicai★★★☆☆
The location is great, but the room the hotel assigned me didn’t have a balcony, even though the room shown in the advertisement when I booked it did. The front desk explained that the pictures were just for promotional purposes, but I feel the hotel engaged in false advertising. The breakfast was very basic. However, it was decent value for the price.

Old NH Hotel, rooms are dated but okay for some days to stay in Valencia,
The breakfast adder (ca. 5€/person) is recommened as breakfast is good quality value.
Walking distance to attractions (Expo, Ruzfa, oldtown), free parking nearby (if you find one at the river bench) and rates (60-100€) don't follow the impertinent dynamics of others nearby
Recommended for some days due to location and value!

Very nice hotel. It is located in a nice area 10’-15’ away to main attractions in the city. The people at the front desk were very helpful from the moment we arrived, giving us answers to the questions we asked them about the city and restaurants recommendations!👍

I stayed at this hostel during my trip to Valencia.
The location is quite convenient. It’s not directly in the city center, but you can reach it in about 30 minutes, which is totally fine. There are also plenty of things nearby like cafés, bars, supermarkets, and even a bakery within walking distance.
The sleeping area itself was okay. The beds were clean and generally in good condition, so no major complaints there.
However, one downside is that the common area is located right next to the bedrooms. Depending on how many people are there and how loud they are, you can hear a lot of noise and conversations, which can make it difficult to sleep.
Another issue is the lack of proper security for personal belongings. There are only basic lockers, similar to what you’d find in schools, which don’t really give you a strong sense of security for valuables.
The biggest negative point for me was definitely the bathroom. It was quite dirty and didn’t seem to be cleaned frequently enough throughout the day. By the end of my stay, it felt uncomfortable to use, and I actually skipped showering on my last day because it just didn’t feel hygienic.
Overall, the hostel is okay for a short stay if you’re not too sensitive to noise and cleanliness, but there is definitely room for improvement, especially regarding hygiene and facilities.

Absolutely cleen! Loving the vibes. You got anything you need (hairdryer, towel, shower products such as soap and shampoo even conditioner, FRIDGE!, washingmachine n dryer,..) the reception is really friendly, gave me a tour. You can ask her anything. You can put your luggage before check in and after you check out too which i think its very nice. Overall good experience!

Both men's showers were problematic, and I had to shower in the women's. The restrooms were quite dirty after the cleaners left. The place is located in a passageway. Check-in was quite easy. It was a shame there wasn't a locker for each bed number. There were lockers, but the key wouldn't lock them. It was easy to control the curtains and lights from inside the bed, and the technology was nice.

Lovely little hostel, self check in/out.
Effective communication with staff through WhatsApp.
Well served by public transport, I recommend it.
Pricier than other hostels, however, the POD experience was worth it.

Smart hostel! Got a smart way of checkin and checkout using code and bracelet. The bed was so comfy and clean, clean common area to make your coffee and warm up your food, also free laundry.
Staff were very kind and helpful and allow me to check in earlier.

Very good for a one-star hostel
The location is excellent, and the surrounding streets are well lit. It is close to bus stops and a Mercadona supermarket. The staff was friendly, and the facilities were exactly what you would expect for the price paid (hairdryer, hangers, etc.). The bed was very clean, and the room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided every day. Guests have access to a microwave, coffee machine, and refrigerator located in the hallway, which are shared with other guests. Although the bathroom is not inside the room, it is private and comes with its own key. The noise level is moderate. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
Things to keep in mind:
Check-in starts relatively late. This was not an issue for us because we arrived late, but it could be inconvenient for some travelers. The air conditioner had a slightly unusual smell, although we did not need to use it much. Also, there is not always someone at the reception desk, so check-in may need to be completed online or through a self-service kiosk.
Overall rating: 10/10.
Anđela Vukobrat★★★★☆
Dormavalencia had a very clean room.
The facilities were also very good - microwave, ironing board and an iron, a fridge that we could use and a coffee machine.
The staff was not pleasant. Host not present, everything is automated.
Tom Burton★★★☆☆
Rooms are clean and comfortable, but very basic. The check-in procedure didn’t work properly, and when we first arrived, the code we were provided with didn’t open the door. The air conditioning in our room did work, but it wasn’t good - it didn’t cool the room much, and we had to keep the bathroom door closed to even slightly feel it. The location is decent - it’s less than 10mins to the metro station. It’s alright for a budget stay but expect it to be as basic as it can be.
Jay Cathcart★★★☆☆
Good value for money. Clean, friendly staff, comfy bed.
Downsides:
-Our room (specifically room 002) smelt of cigarette smoke, but that can't be helped, obviously an obnoxious client before us.
-Drain in the shower wasn't very fast, anything more than a 2 minute shower and it's overflowing on to the floor.
-AC didn't work on heating mode.
I would stay here again, the above are just notes for the owners to better a clients experience!

I was visiting for a short city break.. overall this hotel was great.
It is in a good location outside the city centre with good bus links to the city centre. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities that you could need. The only issue was that the noise from outside, which was considerable as the hotel is on a main road, could be heard in the room even with all the windows closed so would definitely recommend bringing earplugs. The staff were friendly and helpful with any enquiry that I had. The breakfast offering was a good variety and it was all very tasty. I would definitely consider staying here again if I visit Valencia again in the future.

I am currently on day 5 of my 10-night stay.
As soon as you walk into the hotel, it has a grand and welcoming feel. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with air conditioning that you can control yourself, as well as free Wi-Fi. The housekeeping staff do a fantastic job, cleaning the rooms every day to a very high standard.
I especially love the full-length mirror and the illuminated bathroom mirror – they are great touches. The food has also been lovely throughout my stay, and I would definitely recommend the burgers.
The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the rooms aren't very soundproof. Unfortunately, my room seems to be between a group of young guests who have been running back and forth between rooms, shouting and screaming in the early hours of the morning. Normally, a bit of noise doesn't bother me, but I've been woken up every night at around 2–3 a.m. This morning was the worst, which is why I'm writing this review at 4 a.m.
Aside from the noise, I've really enjoyed my stay so far and would happily recommend the hotel.
BJ PAGE★★★☆☆
The Silken Puerta is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, but it's not really. It's good, but falls short in some ways. It's not a typical tourist hotel, I'd describe more as a business hotel. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room (don't know if this is a Spanish thing, but I've never stayed in a hotel without). There are no outdoor areas for guests, so, apart from the room, there was just the reception area/bar. There was a small mezzanine area, but that was it. Some of the more expensive rooms did have a balcony / terrace, but we're a lot more expensive. It's well situated, quite centrally, with bus and trams access close by. Taxis can but ordered at reception and are quite reasonable, city centre/old town/beach and other attractions all within 10 - 15mins away. Loads of restaurants and bars with every type of food within walking distance. We had a power cut one evening which lasted until 3.00am. No explanation, no apologies. We were on the 3rd floor and the lifts were out of action. Glad we weren't on the 7th! Overall, it was fine, breakfast was really good, but I don't think I'd stay there again. I'd pick an hotel with a swimming pool for a start, the heat was intense.

I must say, I am extremely impressed and happy with our experience with this hotel. My son, arrived late that night from a 13 hour flight from California. His student residence (a studio w/private bathroom) was a complete mess!), which made it impossible to spend the night. I found Silken hotel , which was just around the corner. I spoke with Jorge at the Reception Desk and he was so understanding and helpful. He managed to get a room for my son within 5 minutes considering the late night and without even checking IDs. He was a life saver! My son had a restful and pleasant night there. He loved the hotel and said it was very nice. We had just come back from a 40 day Europe trip, so he had plenty to compare it to! THANK YOU 🙏 Jorge for your hospitality and Silken for making it the perfect stay! We will definitely consider Silken next trip to Valencia!

I stayed for four nights in a room on the top floor with a terrace. Check in was at 2pm. The reception isn’t really air conditioned enough to want to have a drink in the lobby bar. Two lifts, they are small but adequate. The hotel room was spacious with plenty of storage. The terrace had one lounger and two large chairs. We enjoyed the view at night. The room has a small fridge. Two bottles of water complimentary from the hotel. Large bathroom with walk in shower. Two sinks and a large mirror. Good hairdryer. Some hotels supply awful hair dryers. Toiletries included, hand and body wash, shampoo and body lotion. We had a safe. Robes and slippers are provided, they were both XL so too big for us. Air conditioning was effective and quiet. The only item missing was a full length mirror and there is space for one. All staff are efficient and friendly, they deserve some praise. Room cleaning was a very high standard daily. On returning to our room each day, fresh towels were provided. All the sites of València can be reached on foot or by bus. We used Uber several times to and from the hotel. Plenty of good coffee shops with 6 minutes walk. Carpeted corridors help to keep the noise to a minimum.

The location is great—right next to the gym—and they’re willing to accommodate requests to check in early or store luggage. After the room was cleaned the next day, no free bottled water was provided. Breakfast was decent, though it would be nice if they offered hot food. Also, the kitchen could be cleaned more thoroughly, and the service could be improved. Overall, it’s decent value for the price.

The overall experience was great.
The AC is strong and manually adjustable.
The breakfast was good.
However the double-bed are actually two one person mattresses put next to each others, leading to a gap between the two and the TV (smaller than 27") does not work and is so small and put so high you litterally cannot see anything. It is not very quiet outdoors until midnight.
Luka Blagojevic★★☆☆☆
We stayed 3 nights at this hostel. The receptionist was very kind and welcoming, and everything was clearly explained to us. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. However, there was a strong sewage smell coming from outside, possibly from a pipe near the window, which really affected our stay. The Wi-Fi in the room was also quite weak, but the location was good overall.
Robert Simoiu★★★★☆
The Little Corner B&B is a solid, budget-friendly choice for a short stay, offering a clean and well-maintained environment at a very affordable price. While it has some quirks typical of older buildings, the overall value and comfortable rooms make it a reliable base for exploring the city.
One of the best features is the included buffet-style breakfast, which is decent and provides a convenient, stress-free start to the day. The rooms are nicely decorated and surprisingly spacious, though guests should be aware that the older construction allows for significant noise from both the street and the hallways during cleaning hours.
A major drawback to keep in mind is the Wi-Fi, which is quite unstable and prone to frequent disconnections. Overall, if you prioritize cleanliness and price over high-speed internet and perfect soundproofing, this is a very decent option.
P O'Neill★★☆☆☆
Good location in the heart of the city, only a few minutes away from metro stations with a big supermarket that has very reasonable prices.
The Old Town is just about a 25 minutes walk away through a lovely park.
Malvarrosa Beach is lovely too, take a walk along the promenade where you'll find lots of bars, restaurants, street food, and clubs. It's around a 53 minutes walk away from the hotel or an Uber costing between £8–£12. The walk isn't worthy, take a taxi (12 minutes drive)
Our room view was of the Valencia football stadium. Luckily there was no game during our stay, but the street was very busy and lively at all times. The double bed appeared to be made up of two single mattresses, leaving you rolling into the gap each night. The room was also very small, with little space beyond the bed and TV.
In the pictures everything looks great, but the reality isn't quite the same. I took some photos myself. The restaurant is actually located in the coffee bar next door (you literally have to leave the hotel to get there) and it doesn't have the lovely wallpaper shown in the booking photos, just plain grey walls. Food choices were basic, but adequate to start the day.
Housekeeping was okay, although our shower could have benefited from a deep clean, and the hotel corridors should be clear at all time.
Some reception staff were helpful, while others could barely manage a smile. In the coffee shop (breakfast place), waiting for your morning coffee could take a while, but it was worth the wait as the coffee was lovely.
Good value for money? Only if it had been sold at about half the price we paid; otherwise, no.
Overall, the hotel has some strong points, particularly its good location, convenient transport links, nearby supermarket, and great coffee. However, the room quality, and differences between the advertised photos and reality left us disappointed. For the price we paid, we expected a better overall experience.

We did not stay here but had lunch in the courtyard. Was recommended by AI as one of the nicest terraces for lunch in the city. I "get" that we're in Spain but American hotel properties should adhere to an American standard. This did not.
We had to hunt someone down to seat us outside. Waited FOREVER for service. We were charged for menu items that were ordered but never delivered and the food was just mediocre. Also surrounded by smokers and annoying soccer bros who were over served and had to be scolded by wait staff and asked to be quiet. Staff seemed generally disinterested.
Upside: Beautiful exterior and courtyard and a nice part of the city. Lovely decor inside and cool looking restaurant.
SKIP IT. Better places everywhere.

I had a wonderful experience at The Westin Valencia and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Valencia. From the moment we arrived, the hotel impressed us with its beautiful architecture, elegant interiors, and warm, professional service.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with everything you would expect from a high-quality luxury hotel. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it very easy to relax and unwind after exploring the city.
The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay, always willing to help and ensuring that everything was taken care of. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is elegant and peaceful, while still being conveniently located for exploring Valencia.
The facilities were excellent, and the attention to detail throughout the hotel really stood out. It is the kind of place where you genuinely feel looked after rather than simply being another guest.
Overall, The Westin Valencia is a fantastic hotel that combines luxury, comfort, excellent service, and a great location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return on my next visit to Valencia. Highly recommended and easily deserving of 5 stars!

Nice hotel conveniently located in a quiet neighbourhood outside of the downtown core - but still easily walkable to everything. Service was impeccable. Everyone was extremely nice and professional from the moment of check in to check out. I booked a standard king room and was upgraded to a junior suite due to my Marriott status. Although the rooms were slightly dated, they were very clean and well kept and the vibe was great. The gym is really nice too - very spacious with lots of equipment and free weights. The breakfast buffet was very delicious and the servers were very professional as well. If/when I return to Valencia, I would definitely stay here again!

I recently completed a ten night stay at the Westin and found the hotel to be a lovely oasis in the city, a comfortable retreat from summer heat. The staff was unfailingly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Any question or problem or we had, the staff found a solution. (For example, on a day when we needed to leave the hotel before breakfast was served, the front desk offered to have picnic bags ready for us in the morning.) Our room, facing the inner courtyard, was spacious, clean, and quiet. From breakfast to late at night, the hotel restaurants offered good food and gracious service. The indoor pool and spa area provided a great way to relax. I would gladly return to the Westin on a future visit to València.

The Westin Valencia is a great pick if you’re looking for a mix of comfort, style, and a really convenient location. One of the highlights is the truly beautiful courtyard restaurant—it’s such a calm, green space and perfect for a coffee, lunch or an easy dinner after a day out. It feels like a little oasis, far away from the hustle and bustle of a busy town.
The pool area has clearly been recently renovated and feels modern and well-designed, ideal for winding down.
What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly, but the team at the bar deserves a special mention—super welcoming, attentive, and great at creating a relaxed atmosphere.
Location-wise, it’s super practical: you can walk to the Turia Park in just a few minutes, and the train station is also close by. The old town and the central market are about a 20–25 minute walk, which makes it easy to explore while still staying somewhere a bit quieter.
Inside tip: stroll through the Turia park from the hotel to get to City of Arts of you’re up for a bit of a longer walk but really want to get a feel of Valencian local life.

We have stayed for five nights at Hotel Olympia Universidades. The hotel is situated in the residential neighbourhood of Benimaclet — a quiet, peaceful and genuinely local area that gives you a real sense of everyday Valencian life and the city centre is just a few bus/metro stops away.
Upon arrival, we encountered a minor issue with water in the hallway of the Room. We reported it to the front desk straight away, and the response was both quick and professional. A maintenance person was called immediately, and by the time we returned from our walk around the city, everything had already been fixed. What impressed us most was that the staff member kindly offered us a different room, wanting to make sure we were completely comfortable. That kind of guest-centred approach truly deserves recognition.
The room itself is functional, with an interior that feels a little dated in places, though it was always clean and tided every day . The bed/mattress was great and pleasant surprise — slightly on the firmer side, which suited us perfectly — and we slept wonderfully throughout our entire stay.
Breakfast was good and covered everything , which was perfectly enough.
The staff was very kind and helpful from the very first moment. They patiently helped us with information and details how to use the public transport , provided us with a city map, and lent us an umbrella when it started to rain one day. The front desk is opened around the clock.
The location is arguably the hotel’s greatest asset. A bus is just around the corner, and the metro and tram is in front of the hotel— making it effortless to reach the city centre, the Bioparc, or anywhere else you might want to explore. In metro in front of the hotel we bought our SUMA transport card and topped it up throughout our stay.
All in all, a hotel that delivers on cleanliness, convenience and helpful stuff . We would not hesitate to return.

We stayed for 5 nights.
Breakfast is fine, nothing special, but totally fine and inexpensive.
The room does look a tiny bit dated here and there, but there were no issues at all.
The room and bathroom were neat, no bad smells or anything. The water pressure in the shower was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel and the shower head was also working properly (not new,but I think the remove the lime on a regular basis).
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the reception is open 24 hours.
The location of the Hotel is directly next to a tram/bus/subway. So regardless of where you wanna go (Old City/beach/oceanographic), the public transportation is at your doorstep.

I stayed here for work back in June. The location of the hotel was good, the breakfast was fine (nothing special), the room was spacious. However the Aircon broke when it was around 35 Celsius outside. I went to complain and the receptionist assured me she would come to fix the problem but I had to go down several times over the course of 2 hours and nothing could be fixed. Her replacement on the Nightshift told me nothing could be done and I just had to live with it. I had to chase the receptionist the next day to get someone to fix the issue. Overall, it would've been fine but the staff were unprofessional and did not care at all and they seemed to have no training of how to deal with these situations. I shared my feedback with my organisation who had booked rooms for around 10 colleagues there. We will not be using this hotel again.

We had a great stay, the rooms are simple but clean nevertheless. The location is amazing, next to the metro/bus stops and within walking distance of a bike sharing point. I recommend this place if you want to get the most value out of your money.

We arrived to find our room in a very dirty condition. They forgot to clean it after the previous guests—there was dirty laundry and used towels left behind.
We immediately contacted the staff, but they were unable to send anyone to clean the room. As a result, we had no choice but to find alternative accommodation for the night.
The hotel promised to refund the first night, but after four months we still have not received anything.
We find this completely unacceptable. Both the hygiene and the handling of this situation were very disappointing.

Our stay at Palacios Rooms was one of the worst accommodation experiences we have ever had.
Upon entering the room, we were immediately hit by a strong, unpleasant smell that suggested a serious lack of cleanliness and ventilation. The room itself was visibly dirty and poorly maintained, giving the clear impression that it had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival. The overall condition was far below any reasonable standard for guest accommodation.
The mattress was in an appalling state — uncomfortable, worn, and completely unsuitable for sleeping. It was obvious from the first few minutes that staying even one night would have been impossible, let alone the four nights we had booked.
We contacted the property within minutes of arrival to report these serious issues. We were told that someone would call us back to address the situation. That call never came. No follow-up, no apology, and no attempt whatsoever to resolve the problem or offer an alternative solution. The complete lack of response showed a total disregard for guests and basic hospitality standards.
Because of the unsanitary conditions and the failure of management to engage or take responsibility, we were left with no choice but to leave the property almost immediately and find alternative accommodation at short notice.
This place is misrepresented, poorly managed, and does not meet even the most basic expectations of cleanliness, comfort, or customer service. We would strongly advise future guests to avoid this property, especially if hygiene and basic comfort matter to you.

Very friendly staff and good services, plenty space for parking. The only minus is the shower cabin, which is not very spacious, actually, it's quite a tiny, claustrophobic box.
It's a bit too far from the historical centre,or other touristic attractions, or the beach, but has a good price.

It is a very clean and quiet hostel. The staff members are very nice and they do their best to accommodate your needs. It is very nicely located and you can get everywhere with public transport.
My only complaint was that they would alow you turn on the AC only at specific times (in total almost 12 hours a day) which was annoying for two days as the temperature was above 30 degrees Celsius.

Pretty good location. Clean, quiet, very nice staff. But... Before check-in you will receive many many long long emails of different instructions. You kind of have to read a book before not to miss some important info like room key code hidden inside hundred's of likes of text. Really weird.

Fab little hotel at a great price. Small pool, enough choice at breakfast but not a lot of hot food. Enjoyed our stay and the staff were extremely helpful. Rooms were clean and the aircon worked which was all that we needed. We even had small terrace outside . The location is fabulous for getting around Valencia. Great value for money.

I had the best stay here. The hotel staff was incredibly attentive, accommodating, and welcoming. My check-in was scheduled for 4 PM, but after a long and exhausting 15-hour journey, I arrived around 11 AM. I asked the front desk if early check-in would be possible, even for an additional fee, and they kindly let me know that my room was ready. They also have a luggage storage before or after checkin/checkout. I would honestly give this hotel 10 stars for its hospitality.

Amazing stay in Hi Valencia! The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, close to everything but still quiet at night.
The place has a really charming feel to it, simple but very well kept and welcoming. The staff was kind and helpful, which made the experience even better.
Great value for money, especially for such a central location. I would definitely stay here again.

It’s not a hotel. The listing is misleading, and expectations need to more clear. This is closer to a hostel setup, with around eight rooms sharing a single bathroom on the floor and no on-site reception.
Check-in is entirely self-managed and feels like an escape room: multiple codes, doors, instructions, and steps to follow. After a long day, this becomes unnecessarily difficult rather than convenient.
My room had no towels on arrival. Getting assistance required trial and error with different WhatsApp numbers, since the listed contact did not work. Resolving it took about 25 minutes.
I slept ok but wish I knew clearly what I got myself into. Would not repeat unless just passing by with no other options.

I was simply not accommodated. When registering and paying for accommodation, there is no restriction on check-in time, and this is before my plane arrives. And then I get a familiar message of 4 words a la: "Hello, what time are you checking in?" I said that it was later than the time specified after paying for accommodation, to which I was told that I had to look for another place to stay! And what do you think? In the morning, ALL my reservations were canceled, although I paid for two nights! I was told that I had to ask Booking about everything, and Booking says that these issues are resolved by the accommodation. This looks like some kind of tourist scam to me.

B&B Hi Valencia Canovas was one of the best overnight stay experiences I have had from a B&B/hostel type perspective. Yes the bathrooms are shared but it's honestly not that big of a deal and you know what you're getting before going into it. They ARE pretty strict on the 11 am check out time but that's also to be expected. A GREAT plus was that the front desk guy is a super nice and handsome. Also the location is great too. A lot of coffee shops in the area, and not too far from the train station, perhaps an 11-13 minute taxi ride.

Honestly I really loved it here! Definitely will come back. The room was lovely and neat. The shared bathroom was really easy and big. Everything was at walking distance. I recommend to stay here!

Very disappointing stay – poor service and refusal to take responsibility
We booked two rooms, and during our stay there were problems with one of them (water thru the roof) and the other one was given too late.
Unfortunately, instead of properly addressing the issue, the hotel seems more interested in explaining why the problem was supposedly not their responsibility.
The hotel claims that everything was working properly after we checked out. That does not change the fact that we experienced problems during our stay and had to change one of the rooms. We were also told that a technician would come, but the situation was handled poorly and the issue was never properly resolved while we were actually staying at the hotel. They didnt even understand the issue which happened earlier. Poor lanquage skills I presume.
What is especially disappointing is the hotel’s attitude afterwards. We asked whether they would provide a partial refund as compensation for the problems we experienced. Instead of offering any reasonable solution, they simply refused and emphasized that their facilities were supposedly working correctly.
When we left the staff was busy catching pests from the permises.
Breakfast was good, but unfortunately that was about the only positive part of the stay. When you book two rooms at a hotel, you expect the basic services and facilities to work properly and, if something goes wrong, you expect the hotel to take responsibility and try to make things right.
We are leaving now with the feeling that the hotel simply does not care about the customer experience once it has received the payment.
I would not recommend this hotel. 2 star rating would be more accurate.
Diana Truta★☆☆☆☆
The biggest issue for me was security.
Anyone could walk in off the street and wander freely, including around the pool, with no key card checks or staff monitoring who came and went. That combination — an inviting pool area completely open to non-guests — made us very uncomfortable.
It’s a shame the basics of guest safety weren’t in place. I wouldn’t stay again until they fix entry controls and start monitoring who has access to the pool area.

I had a fantastic stay. Only complaints I have is that I would have found it more comfortable to have 1 bigger/thicker pillow instead of 2 flat pillows and also the shower pressure was too low for my liking. But these are only my preferences, somebody else might like it, so I wont deduct points from that. Room was great, plenty of space and good housekeeping.
Edit. One thing I forgot to mention: the bathroom floor tiles were very slippery if they got wet. We had to be very careful stepping out of the tub.
Breakfast was also really good and offered many different foods. Warm food, pastries, fruits, bread and cereals to name a few.
Location is right next to the park which offers great walking paths to the city center and old town. Also really practical bus lines right next to the hotel that take you to the main railway station. Also has grocery stores and restaurants nearby.
We stored our luggage at the front desk for a couple of hours after check out for free which was nice. It allowed us to spend our last hours in the city more effectively.
Thank you for a great stay

A great hotel well located making old and new towns easy to reach in this beautiful city.
The staff were very helpful and the late check out time enabled us to keep our room until our airport taxi arrived.
The room was spacious, the beds quite comfortable. Being high up we had good views across the park.
Our only disappointment was that the pool doesn't open until high season, which we did not know when booking.
Madalina Georgiana★★☆☆☆
We have stayed at the 5th floor.
First day the air conditioning didn't work, so we had to sleep with the window open as there was no room available to change and the technician was not in the hotel at that hour.
Next day it got fixed but during the night it got completely fried - it got shut down automatically from the electricity pannel. It got fixed again the next day.
Then, the noise - the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. We had big problems sleeping.
I've also attached a picture of what was our view from the room - awful. Plus, in the morning there was a garbage smell coming from outside.
Only one elevator worked out of 3 so the elevator was always crowded.
Good things: the breakfast is very good, the staff is friendly and the cleaning ladies are doing an awesome job.
But overall, unfortunately I don't recommend the hotel
Essential Tips for Staying Near Mestalla
Securing a room near the stadium requires a bit of strategy, especially if your visit coincides with a home game. The atmosphere in the neighborhood changes drastically on match days, shifting from a quiet residential calm to a roaring festival of noise. Understanding this rhythm is key to enjoying your stay and maximizing your time in this part of Valencia.
1. Book Months in Advance for Match Days
Valencia CF has a massive local following, and the city is a popular destination for European away fans. If your travel dates align with a La Liga or Champions League fixture, do not expect to find last-minute availability. Hotels within a 1km radius fill up incredibly fast. Secure your room as soon as you have your match tickets to avoid being pushed out to the periphery or paying inflated rates.
2. Embrace the Pre-Match Ritual
Staying near the stadium means you are perfectly positioned to experience the local football culture. Do not eat in your hotel restaurant before the game. Instead, walk to Calle de la Reina or the streets surrounding the stadium. Join the locals at bars like Bar Nuevo or any crowded terrace for a "bocadillo" and a caña (small beer). The energy is infectious, and it is a core part of the Mestalla experience.
3. Noise is Part of the Experience
You are staying next to a 49,000-capacity stadium; silence is not an option on match days. If you are a light sleeper or traveling with young children who need early bedtimes, request a room on a high floor or facing away from Avenida de Suecia. Conversely, if you want to hear the roar from your balcony, ask for a room with a stadium view—though be prepared for the noise until late evening.
4. Use the Turia Gardens as Your Highway
One of the biggest benefits of this location is the proximity to the Jardín del Turia. This sunken park runs through the city and is completely free of car traffic. If you want to visit the City of Arts and Sciences or the Old Town, walking or cycling through the gardens is often faster and far more pleasant than taking a taxi. It turns a 30-minute walk into a scenic highlight of your trip.
5. Verify Parking Policies
If you are driving to Valencia, parking in the Mestalla area is a nightmare on match days. Streets are closed, garages are reserved for residents, and traffic is gridlocked. Always check if your hotel has private parking and, if so, reserve a space in advance. If your hotel does not offer parking, consider staying slightly further out near a metro station or use the public parking at Nuevo Centro and take the short metro ride to the stadium.
The roar of the crowd at Mestalla is one of the most visceral experiences in Spanish football. By choosing to stay within walking distance, you are not just booking a bed; you are immersing yourself in the heart of the action. You get to see the streets fill with scarves, hear the drums echo off the apartment blocks, and feel the collective gasp of the crowd before you even step through the turnstiles.
Ultimately, the best hotel for you will depend on your budget and your tolerance for the pre-game buzz. Whether you opt for a luxury suite or a simple, clean room, the convenience of being able to walk "home" after the final whistle is invaluable. It allows you to hold onto the memory of the match a little longer, strolling through the jubilant or commiserating crowds as the city lights flicker on.
