4 stars – good overall, but not quite the 4.8 experience I was expecting. With more than 1,600 reviews and such a high rating, my expectations were naturally very high. The bagel was definitely the highlight—fresh, flavorful, and something I’d happily order again. The espresso was also good. We also tried the coffee tonic, which was nice but not particularly memorable. The fresh orange juice had excellent-quality oranges, but unfortunately it wasn’t served cold. The biggest disappointment was the fruit salad. The portion was quite small, and some of the fruit, especially the strawberries, was no longer fresh, which affected the overall taste. The seating area is lovely with a relaxed atmosphere, and it’s a nice place to spend some time. Service could also be improved. Some of our order was forgotten, and while it’s always nice to greet regular customers, we felt other guests were left waiting and received less attention. Overall, I’d recommend this place for the bagels, pastries, and classic coffee, but based on our experience, I’d rate it closer to 4 stars than 4.8.

Excellent coffee. Pour over V60. BOSCON roasts their own beans. Excellent brunch options. Sausage and toast were particularly good. Also the wrap was excellent. The service was excellent as well. Flour was delightful and spoke incredible English and super considerate.

We found this place while looking for an American-style breakfast near our hotel, and it ended up being one of our go-to spots. I’ve probably been here about six times in the past two weeks. They have a great brunch menu where you get a full breakfast, coffee, orange juice, a refreshment, and even a dessert. The breakfast comes with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, avocado, cherry tomatoes—pretty much everything you’d want. Honestly, it’s a lot of food for around €18–19, and I usually end up sharing it with my daughter. Food quality is great, and the value is hard to beat. They also have things like a bacon bagel, which was a nice find. Service has been consistently great—very polite and attentive. We usually sit outside, and it’s a nice, quiet neighborhood, which makes the whole experience even better. Also, their oatmeal cookie is really, really good—definitely worth trying. Overall, this is a spot we’ve really enjoyed and will definitely come back to before we leave. It’ll be a regular stop for us anytime we’re back. Highly recommend.

Boscon Coffee Roasters is an excellent destination in Valencia for specialty coffee lovers who also want a high-quality breakfast. The space is modern and welcoming, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to start your day. The breakfast options were surprisingly tasty, and their set menus are a great deal, typically including coffee, a sweet treat, and a drink at a very reasonable price. The food is fresh and well-presented, perfectly complementing the overall dining experience. The coffee is, without a doubt, the main highlight. The selection is diverse and of very high quality; we decided to test the same origin prepared as both a batch brew and a V60, and both were excellent. Since it is also a roastery, you can see the roasting equipment on-site and buy a wide variety of freshly roasted beans to take home. I highly recommend this place for their expertise in the art of coffee and the quality of their service. It is a must-stop if you are looking for a great brunch and authentic specialty coffee.
Niya Hristova★★★★☆
Lovely breakfast and a pleasant brunch experience overall. The food was tasty and well presented, and the atmosphere was nice. However, there is still room for improvement in some areas such as service speed, attention to detail, and consistency. With a few changes, this place could become truly excellent.

That’s what you call a perfect breakfast spot! I’m genuinely impressed by how everything here is simply excellent. The coffee is among the best I’ve had in Valencia. The food menu isn’t huge, but every dish feels carefully made, perfectly executed, and absolutely delicious. The Croque Madame is outstanding and an absolute must-try. And the desserts are amazing too! Overall, this is a fantastic place that I highly recommend visiting if you’re in Valencia. P.S. They are dog-friendly and happily allow dogs inside, which is a wonderful bonus.🐶

If you’re looking to escape the Valencia heat, this is a wonderful place to relax. The café is cool, modern, stylish, and very clean, with a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. The menu is simple but has everything you need for breakfast or a light meal, including eggs, omelettes, fresh juices, and delicious freshly squeezed orange juice. Whether you want to read a book, chat with a friend, or simply enjoy a coffee, it’s a great place to unwind. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back.

The most delicious coffee we’ve had in Valencia! A special mention goes to the wonderful staff - they are genuinely friendly and make you feel valued from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and relaxed. The breakfasts are not only incredibly tasty but also beautifully presented. Every dish looks like it has been prepared with great care and attention to detail. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great coffee, amazing food, and exceptional service.

This charming little breakfast café, opened by Ukrainians, is a true hidden gem. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the breakfasts are simple, healthy, and absolutely delicious, and every dish is clearly prepared with care. The staff deserve a special mention—they’re incredibly friendly, make you feel at home, and can communicate in several languages, making everyone feel welcome. If you’re looking for a cozy place to start your day with a great breakfast and wonderful people, I highly recommend stopping by. You’ll leave with a full stomach and an even fuller heart.

Very very very nice food and good atmosphere! Everything was very tasty. An incredibly nice waitress❤️ The only thing I'd like to improve is the bread on the toast with sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella. It would be delicious if it were crispier, but it was moist, especially the bottom. Thank you so much! You're wonderful! 🙏❤️

My friend and I originally stopped by for brunch, but the line was so long that we decided to browse a nearby store instead. When we came back out, the line had disappeared, so we gave it a shot, and I’m so glad we did because it was absolutely worth the wait. These were some of the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life, and that’s saying something because I don’t even like pancakes. They were light, flavorful, and completely changed my mind about what pancakes can be. We ate them so quickly I didn’t get a photo of them. The service was also fantastic, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. The staff was friendly, efficient, and kept everything running smoothly. If you’re debating whether it’s worth the wait, it is. Do yourself a favor and eat here. You won’t regret it.

So lovely and cute place! I spent there my merienda time reading a book. Croissant with pistachio was very delicious but the best was the juice, really really tasty. They have nice menu offer, I'll be back to try their brunch. During the week I did not need any reservation but for group I recommend to have one.

Very cute and original place! Perfect location if you are in city center and need a break. 😊 Food variety is good, standard for brunches. Service could be a bit slow. But overall definitely worth a visit, I love decorations there! 😍

This place is so lovely! Really chill vibes and clearly marked where laptops are and aren’t allowed. Staff is super nice and friendly. I really had high hopes for the food but both my chicken wrap and cookie were just ok. Not very flavourful. The kombucha drink was really good though

The food was absolutely delicious - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We ordered the waffles with eggs Benedict, granola bowls, and coffee, and everything tasted amazing. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a great brunch spot in Valencia!

Very nice place. Our group was directed upstairs, where it was quiet and not that hot as in the terrace. We tried Shakshuka, American Breakfast, Sweet waffle and the pancakes. The food is well presented and tasty enough. There was an issue that delayed the serving, but the “camarera” was kind enough to let us know beforehand. A little before noon, people started to come in and all the tables got filled. I loved the little pink menu and the food pictures inside, plus the waiter was fluent enough in English to explain everything. Prices are as you would expect for a place near the old center, a bit high.

Exceptionally beautiful food. Lovely, caring, staff. We went for brunch and had to go back the next day. Insider’s tip, get the bambon coffee (espresso with condensed milk) it’s a Spanish classic.
Daniel Teunter★★★☆☆
We went here for brunch. When we ordered only one meal was served as they had forgotten the other. But I have to give some kudos, since we did not have to wait to long for the other to arrive. The food wasn't that great. For the same price we've gotten better food at different places on our trip. The atmosphere was fine but nothing special. I would say the overall experience was fine.

Amazing brunch, cheesecake and chicken teruyuki. BUT…the best recommendation I can give you??? The cinnamon roll with pistachio. It’s like tasting a piece of heaven. Seriously! Give it a try!
Luna Beyhan★★★★★
What an incredible breakfast/brunch spot! the staff made us feel welcome with their warm smiles and friendly service. Everyone was so helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. The food was flavorful, and amazingly presented. It was very clear that a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall experience. The coffee was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and clean. It’s a perfect way to start your day! It’s not often you find a place where both the food and the customer service are equally outstanding

We went here as it was one of the only brunch spots near our hotel. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and outdoor seating. However, the food and coffee is really nothing to write home about and the service rather slow. If you are just for a few days in Valencia I would skip this places

We discovered Brunch Corner through Google and its great reviews, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It’s a fantastic place — easily one of the best brunch spots I’ve ever visited. The food was incredibly delicious, the portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable, which made the whole experience even better. Everything felt well thought out and satisfying, from the quality of the dishes to the overall atmosphere. If I ever come back to Valencia, this will definitely be one of my top choices again. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality — wishing you all the best!

Excellent brunch spot. Great food, service was good, and very nice view of the plaza if you get there early enough to get an outdoor table. Overall great value - I'll be back.
Kate The Explorer★☆☆☆☆
I was really looking forward to trying this place after reading so many positive reviews, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. The toast was so hard that it was difficult to cut and unpleasant to eat. It was simply topped with sliced avocado and a sprinkle of seeds, which hardly feels like a proper breakfast dish. For the price and the reputation of the café, I expected much better quality, more care in the preparation, and a more satisfying meal. Sadly, the experience did not live up to the excellent reviews.
Arlene Perez★★☆☆☆
I was so excited to try a new breakfast place! I ordered the egg Benedict brunch which came with dessert. I chose the pancake with fruits for dessert. We got the coffee and orange juice first. Then I got the desert… pancake 🥞. I told the waitress I wanted to eat the egg Benedict first and then the pancake. She said all the food was coming at the same time because the chef was very busy. I believed her. There was people waiting outside to come in and empty tables but just 2 waitresses. They took the pancake back. I got the eggs I was so disappointed. Instead of the sauce on top of the eggs, it was like half a slice of yellow cheese on top of each egg. The bacon was so undercooked. It looked not appealing at all. Then I got the dessert.. pancake with fruit. It was the same one she took back! It was cold and hard. What a disappointing experience at this place. It’s a shame because the location is the best. Will definitely not go back . Lots of restaurants to try in Valencia Spain 🙂 🇪🇸

Wow, we were on a hunt for a brunch spot heading to Ruzafa when we stumbled upon this gem. Atmosphere:5- bright and open location with outdoor seating. Service:5-Great service from a group of young Armenian entrepreneurs. Food:5-The best brunch in Valencia at a fair price. Quality ingredients and amazing flavors. We had the carrot cake with walnuts which was moist and delicious. The Reuben sandwich was perfect, crunch with pickles and peppers and acidity with a wonderful mustard, loved it. We had the eggs Bennie with hash browns that was awesome. The sauce had great balance and the eggs poached perfectly. Last we had the French toast which was not too sweet and the brioche was not mushy. We would highly recommend Cooper to anyone who wants a great coffee and brunch experience. We will be back to try the other items I. The near future.

Walked into Copper Coffee on a slow Sunday morning after a fairly heavy night out, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made! I’ve known this spot for years, passed it countless times on the way to my coworking space next door, but never actually went in. A friend had it on her wish list and convinced me. It makes me wonder why I waited so long. She had the salmon toast and a matcha and was absolutely over the moon, calling it the best in town. I went for a green tea with flowers and a salmon bagel. Both generous, fresh, and exactly what we needed. It kept us going well into a very lazy Sunday. Big kudos to the staff as well. They're a cool, welcoming team that really adds to the vibe. Definitely won’t be just walking past anymore.
Alexey Subach★★★★☆
Eggs Benedict was a very solid 4 stars in my opinion, definitely almost crossing the border of 5 stars. It just had some nuances which place it a bit behind from my perspective. The dish overall was a bit salty. It was not a classic Benedict but nice in general. It had a prominent mushroom flavour and the hollandaise sauce had a bit weird texture and flavour, as if some dried broth was added. All in all, I’ve had much better Benedict in Valencia and next time I’d try something else but no regrets about visiting this place! The service was fine although the staff seemed overloaded and we really had to catch them for the bill

I had breakfast at this establishment this morning and, unfortunately, left extremely disappointed. 1. The staff were extremely unpleasant and inattentive. It felt as though they considered themselves more important than the guests who come to enjoy a meal and spend their money there. 2. The cutlery and tableware were not properly clean. 3. The bagel contained spoiled avocado. 4. The kitchen appeared to be very dirty. While waiting near the restroom, I was able to see the kitchen area and was unpleasantly surprised by what I saw Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Honestly, based on so many positive reviews, we had probably to high expectations for this place. The food is good, but nothing exceptional, to write home about. We had a Pastrami Sandwich (quite good, as you could rarely fault one), Protein Turkish Eggs (two underdone poached eggs floating in too much of a romesco sauce and yogurt blend) and a Chicken Wrap (quite bland/flat in terms of taste). We visited the place in July (full season), thus it was overcrowded and had to wait in line only to get an outside table (as there's very limited indoor seating) where the experience wasn't that great due to the quite hot weather. All in all the place could be quite promising should they balance a little more their items' composition and taste and bring the price/quantity ratio to a more favourable score. As it is for now the place is overrated in my opinion.
Bogdan Ionuț★★★★★
We had the best breakfast of our trip to Valencia here. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I accidentally spilled a coffee, and they kindly helped us clean everything up without any hesitation. We highly recommend the Burrata Breakfast – it was one of the best meals of our visit!
Heather Alzate★★★★★
We came to Coco Social House with our family, and everyone ordered something different—the blueberry high-protein pancakes, classic pancakes, an açaí bowl, and the avocado mozzarella toast. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious! The protein pancakes with fresh fruit and the avocado toast were standouts. The drinks were great too: iced latte, berry milkshake, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and a frappe. There was about a 10–15 minute wait, so I’d recommend going early, but once we were seated, the food came out quickly. Every dish looked like a work of art. Overall, a fantastic breakfast with something for everyone. We all left happy, full, and would definitely come back!
CS★★★★★
Possibly the most beautiful breakfast dishes I've ever had in my life! Ingredients were fresh and high quality. Presentation was amazing, as well as taste. The sweeter dishes were pretty rich and bold with flavour; a bit overpowering compared to what I'm used to. Staff was friendly and venue was clean. There was quite a wait time in the morning for brunch as the establishment could get busy and quickly filled, but I'd say the wait was worthwhile. Thank you for a great and memorable dining experience!
Arianna★★★★★
Everything was as amazing as I had read! Came at noon on a Sunday and a few people were ahead of me, but the tables rotate quickly so no one waited longer than 10 mins to sit. Drinks were perfect. Food was absolutely delicious. They even substituted a meat item for me, which I never expect in Europe. Everything came out quickly. Would highly recommend! Definitely stop by if you can!

"La belleza está en la mezcla" and they mean it. Mestizo sits tucked into the narrow streets of El Carmen and somehow that setting alone is half the experience. There’s something about squeezing into those tight Valencia alleyways with a flat white in hand that just hits differently. But the food absolutely holds its own. The Baba Ghanoush tapas were genuinely outstanding: smoky, silky, and clearly made with care rather than thrown together as an afterthought. The banana bread was dense and moist in exactly the right way. And the flat white was proper specialty coffee; not the kind that hides behind a pretty cup. The kombucha rounded it all out perfectly for when you want something refreshing without going full coffee mode. This is a spot in El Carmen that blends organic specialty coffee, brunch and tapas and the menu pulls from Argentine, European, Middle Eastern and South American influences; which somehow all works beautifully together. Service was warm and genuinely enthusiastic. The staff’s passion for what they’re doing comes through in every interaction; you feel it immediately. Staff speak Spanish, Italian, English and probably more… If you’re in Valencia and you haven’t been to Mestizo yet, fix that.
Ondřej Zadina★★★★★
I found Mestizo before arriving in Valencia thanks to the great reviews and its location close to our accommodation. We originally planned to come just once for breakfast, but the first visit was so good that we ended up coming back four times. It’s a bit hidden, but that’s exactly what makes it special. The staff speaks English, is super friendly, and you can tell they genuinely care about what they do. Great energy and atmosphere overall. The bagels were generously filled and perfectly balanced. Same with the toasts – and that crispy bread, just top. The espresso was excellent – strong, slightly acidic, nicely roasted, absolutely spot on. And even though I’m not really into sweets, the cinnamon roll is a must have 👌 What I appreciated the most – and I hope I’m right – was the owner. A distinctive, very friendly Spanish lady, and you can clearly see she truly loves her place and runs it with passion. You could tell by the number of locals coming in every morning. Definitely a place you should visit when in Valencia – at least for a coffee 🙂🔥
Zoey Snape★★★★★
Had the most incredible experience at Mestizo. The staff were wonderful, so warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect with great music and a really relaxed, friendly vibe. The food was honestly the best bagel I’ve ever eaten. Absolutely unforgettable. Highly recommend!
A Life★★★★☆
A disappointing experience. The atmosphere is lovely, but the food and drinks were very average. The matcha was bland and lacked flavor, as if it hadn’t been prepared properly. The hummus bagel also fell apart while I was eating it, and the strong fan by the entrance kept blowing the salad leaves out of it. The plain bagel didn’t complement the filling—a whole-grain or darker bagel would have worked much better. Another downside was that the menu is available only in a digital format. Unfortunately, it’s clearly designed as an A4 page rather than for a mobile screen, making it difficult to read, scroll, and compare options. A mobile-friendly menu would make the experience much more convenient. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the recommendations.
Alexey Subach★★★★★
Atmosphere 4, overall 5 The Alfajor cookie (the one with coconut dough and condensed milk filling) was really good - the filling didn’t overpower the taste of the coconut and it was well balanced and soft. The other cookie also had condensed milk filling but the dough was dry and had citrus peel in it. I did not like that one as much

We had our breakfast in Soho cafe each day during our stay in Valencia. The coffee was very good, food was just amazing! I loved the bagel, it was one of the best I ever had! Also the syrniki were just perfect, crispy on the outside and soft inside. Another important thing for us - they allow dogs inside 🫶 We are more than satisfied with the place

Seated outside, the newest server was able to assist us with our order. As the only Spanish speaking member of my party, the server (bilingual) was able to confidently capture our orders and deliver top notch service with a smile. Excellent taste and presentation!

Solid spot for very good breakfast/brunch and great service. Tiny indoor seating area — the outdoor sidewalk is where it’s at. The brothers will do you right, attentive but not pushy, terrific coffee, nice energy. Update: I liked the place so much — the food, the coffee, the vibe —- so much I came back two more times, and they absolutely did not disappoint! Shakshuka Eggs are on point, the folks here are genuinely caring, and I will definitely be back. 🙏

Gorgeous little brunch spot. The eggs Benedict with avo was delectable - the eggs were perfectly poached with a bit of chili flakes for an extra kick, and the avocado was soft and salted which perfectly matched the egg. A lovely brunch, would come again!

Local Tips for Breakfast and Brunch Near Mestalla

To fully enjoy your morning meal in this part of Valencia, it helps to understand the local rhythm. The following tips will help you eat like a local, avoid common tourist mistakes, and get the best value for your money, whether you are heading to the match or just exploring the area.

1. Understand the Valencian Breakfast Schedule
Spaniards generally eat breakfast later than Northern Europeans. Most locals will have a light bite early, like a croissant, and then a substantial "almuerzo" between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM. If you want a heavy brunch, wait until after 11:00 AM to find the kitchens fully active.

2. Look for the "Almuerzo" Menu
The true local experience near Mestalla is the "almuerzo." This is a mid-morning meal that typically includes a hearty bocadillo (baguette sandwich), olives, peanuts, and a drink (often beer or wine, but coffee is fine). It is filling, affordable, and a staple for match-day crowds.

3. Order Fresh Orange Juice
Valencia is the orange capital of Europe. Do not settle for bottled juice. Most reputable cafes near the stadium have a juicer behind the bar. Ask for "zumo de naranja natural" for a sweet, tangy start to your day that puts imported concentrates to shame.

4. Check Match Day Hours
Restaurants near Mestalla operate on a different schedule when Valencia CF plays at home. Many open earlier and close later, but some smaller cafes may close their kitchens to manage the crush of fans. It is always wise to arrive at least two hours before kickoff to secure a table.

5. Try the Local Pastry: Fartons and Coca
While churros are popular, look for "fartons," which are soft, sweet breadsticks dusted with sugar, traditionally dipped in horchata. Alternatively, try a slice of "coca" (a flat pastry) with a savory topping. These are local staples that offer a more authentic taste of Valencia than a standard croissant.

6. Cash is Still King in Small Bars
While larger cafes accept cards, some of the traditional, family-run bars around the stadium may have a minimum spend for card payments or prefer cash. Carry a €20 note with you to avoid missing out on the best hole-in-the-wall kitchens.

The area around Mestalla is more than just a football destination; it is a living, breathing Valencian barrio with a rich culinary identity. Taking the time to sit down for a proper breakfast here allows you to soak in the atmosphere away from the main tourist hubs.

Whether you are fueling up for the roar of the crowd or simply recovering from a morning walk, the right meal sets the tone for the day. Choose a spot from our list, order confidently, and enjoy the distinct flavors that make this neighborhood special.
