Waking up in Seville comes with its own kind of magic—the soft clatter of orange trees in the breeze, the distant chime of cathedral bells, and the promise of a slow, sun-soaked morning. When hunger calls, few settings are as atmospheric as the stretch of riverfront near the Torre del Oro. This iconic 13th-century watchtower isn’t just a historical landmark; it’s the anchor of a neighborhood where traditional Andalusian flavors meet modern brunch culture.
The area around the Torre del Oro is uniquely positioned between the historic center and the trendy Arenal and Triana districts. This means you can pivot from a classic Spanish tostada with crushed tomato to a decadent stack of pancakes within a five-minute walk. The gentle flow of the Guadalquivir River provides a scenic backdrop that elevates even a simple coffee into a memorable experience.
For travelers, finding a genuine local spot near a major monument can often feel like navigating a tourist trap minefield. However, the streets radiating from the tower hide a mix of century-old institutions and stylish new cafés that maintain high standards. Knowing where the locals linger over their weekend desayuno is the key to unlocking the city’s true culinary rhythm.
The Sevillian breakfast scene is distinct. While the rest of the world rushes through avocado toast, here the morning often begins with a café con leche and a mollete (a soft, flat roll) or a slice of toasted rustic bread drizzled with local olive oil. Yet, the international brunch wave has arrived, bringing with it shakshuka, specialty coffee, and freshly baked pastries.
Whether you are seeking a hearty meal to fuel a day of sightseeing at the nearby Alcázar or a leisurely riverside brunch to cure last night’s flamenco-induced late night, this guide has you covered. We have walked the cobbled lanes, sampled the menus, and judged the coffee to bring you a curated list of the best options.
From hidden patios where time stands still to sleek, minimalist spaces with river views, the culinary landscape here is diverse. Below, we explore the spots that offer the best combination of atmosphere, service, and, most importantly, exceptional food.

We had a wonderful breakfast experience at La Mala Brunch! We customized their Eggs Benedict toast by asking them to remove the bacon, and it was absolutely amazing with its sauce and bread. The pistachio cream croissant was also really good. Based on the reviews, we ordered the mascarpone pancake, and it was delicious too. In short, no matter what you order here, it is truly flavorful. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and solution-oriented. A fantastic breakfast spot in Seville that I highly recommend without hesitation!

Delicious! Our waiter was very kind and attentive from the moment we sat down. Everything is made to order, which you can really taste in the quality. The coffee was also a standout — made just the way you like it. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent brunch at La Mala Brunch!
We had several breakfasts there during our stay and everything was absolutely perfect. The place is modern and pleasant, although it can get a bit noisy during busy hours, which also shows how popular the restaurant is.
The menu is very varied, with both indulgent and healthy options: pancakes, bagels, bowls, brunch burgers, fresh smoothies… it’s hard to choose because everything looks delicious.
The products are fresh, beautifully presented, and the portions are generous.
A real favorite in Seville, both for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. This place truly deserves its excellent Google rating. We would definitely recommend it and gladly come back!

During my stay in Seville, this hidden gem was right in front of the apartment we rented. I initially stopped by for a coffee, but the menu looked so appetizing that I decided to order the club sandwich as well, and it was amazing! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A very cool spot with excellent food and coffee. Highly recommended!

One of the best and delicious brunch ever had.
The place is a little bit busy and there is a waiting list, but definitely worth the wait.
Coffee came hot and strong, food was super tasty, fresh and delicious too.
Everything was top notch quality indeed.
This is a highly recognizable place in Seville.

A popular breakfast place with indoor and outdoor seating. The servers are very friendly and they try to accommodate any requests/changes to orders. The service was fast and the food did not disappoint. The eggs benedict was really good, the eggs were perfectly cooked, the bacon and hollandaise sauce tasted good together. The pancakes were warm and fluffy and delicious! The omelette was seasoned well and the Moroccan tea transported me back to Morocco.

I had the Superfood Omelette, and I found it to be extremely fresh and filling. I also ordered the red detox, which was refreshing and tasty. Enrique’s customer service is top notch; he is very warm and friendly. The outdoor seating is great. I’d definitely recommend this place and I would come back here again!

The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, but unfortunately that was the only positive part of the experience. The food had almost no flavour and was very bland. The coffee also had a strange, unpleasant taste. To make matters worse, the egg dishes served during brunch had a very strong smell, which made them difficult to enjoy. Overall, the restaurant looks nice, but the quality and taste of the food were very disappointing.

We had an absolutely amazing breakfast at Billy Brunch! The food was fantastic, but what really stood out was the incredible service. The gentleman who served us was outstanding, especially with our children. He was so friendly, welcoming and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.
We would definitely recommend Billy Brunch to anyone looking for a great breakfast and excellent service. We will 100% be going back again! Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable. 🙌🍳🥓

Absolutely outstanding brunch experience in Seville!
We visited Billy Brunch on a beautiful morning in Seville and it instantly became one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere, stylish decor, and mouthwatering menu had us excited.
The food was exceptional — generous portions, fresh ingredients, and perfectly executed dishes. The pancakes were fluffy and decadent, the Eggs Benedict had that perfect runny yolk, and the avocado toast was elevated with delicious toppings. Everything was packed with flavor, and they had great options for different dietary preferences too. The coffee was strong and smooth — exactly what we needed to start the day right.
But what truly made our visit special was our incredible server, Rocio. She was amazing from start to finish! So friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. Rocio made us feel genuinely welcome, checked in at the perfect moments, and had the warmest smile the whole time. Her service went above and beyond — she made our meal feel personal and extra enjoyable. Thank you, Rocio!
Billy Brunch is a must-visit if you’re in Seville. Whether you’re craving all-day breakfast, healthy options, or something indulgent, this place delivers on every level. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Andalusia.
Highly recommend — 10/10!

We visited for Sunday breakfast at opening time to avoid the busy period. We have visited the Barcelona site 2 years earlier and were pleased to recognise the same style, menu and details in Sevilla. The Eggs Benedict is lovely as are the fluffy pancakes. However, a whole portion can be a struggle to finish for one person as they are quite thick and the portion size is huge for a sweet plate of food! The avocado toast was also enjoyed and we loved the sheet of chia that was cleverly incorporated into the dish! Drinks are also good with a decent selection of hot and iced coffees to kickstart the day.

Finally, we ended up going to this place that was really close to our hotel. It was recommended by a friend of ours, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best places to just relax and unwind. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, the vibes were amazing, and the food was genuinely good too. After a long day, it was exactly the kind of spot we needed.
And the best part — they had free internet finally! The staff also spoke English, which made everything so much easier and more comfortable for us. Overall, we had an amazing time there and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a chill and cozy place to enjoy good food and relax.

Great brunch place with variety of options in the menu. The superfood omelette (spinach, kale, parsley) was very delicious served with tasty sourdough bread and it is generous in portion! Coffee was average in taste, could have been better.
Next time I will definitely try out their fluffy pancakes which also looks amazing!

If you’re looking for the best brunch in Seville, Milky Way deserves a spot on your list. From the food to the service, everything was excellent.
My daughter ordered the Energizer Açaí Bowl and rated it a 10/10. The pistachio pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, the matcha tea was perfectly prepared, and the Caprese burrata sandwich was fresh, filling, and delicious. My caramel macchiato was the perfect complement to brunch.
What made the experience even better was the customer service. We had just arrived in Seville and were waiting for check-in at our Airbnb. The staff graciously welcomed us and our luggage, making us feel comfortable and cared for from the moment we walked in.
For anyone searching for a top-rated brunch restaurant in Seville with great coffee, açaí bowls, specialty drinks, pancakes, sandwiches, and exceptional service, Milky Way is an easy recommendation. The fact that we ate everything before remembering to take photos says it all.

I visited this place for breakfast. The space is large, clean, and operates on a self-service system where you order via QR code and pay directly, which is quite convenient. They offer a good variety of food options.
I ordered a flat white, but the coffee was not very well executed. I believe there is room for improvement, both in the choice of beans and the preparation.
The food, however, was very delicious and clearly made with care. The staff were also very friendly.
I am giving this place 4 stars mainly because the coffee could be improved.
Harsh Patel★★★★☆
Our first brunch stop of the day and we had planned ahead with a reservation. Seated right away and ordered conveniently via phone.
Here's what we ordered:
Choco Acai Bowl: Pretty mid overall. The acai came out a bit watery, though the housemade peanut butter was a saving grace and absolutely delicious.
Caprese Panini: The best burrata I've ever had. Perfectly crispy sandwich with a fresh and flavorful combination of ingredients. A must order.
The bowls have room to improve but the panini more than made up for it. Worth a visit for that alone!

One of the best breakfast I had in Seville. Lots of options even do vegans and vegetarians. Smoothie bowls, sandwiches, bagels! You get good food for low price!
Try pickles, they are so good!
Dinesh Patel★★★★★
The restaurant from outside looked appealing, and once inside, very clean and great atmosphere.
We being vegetarian, were not sure, but very quickly Manuel and Carmen quickly assured us, they will customise to our requirements.
We ordered off menu, and each time quality was great. Panini, croissants, bagels
We returned here every morning for 5 days for our breakfast, greeted very warmly by everyone.
No lunch as would not be in the area after breakfast.

Beautiful cafe- when you first walk in, you’re welcomed by a beautifully decorated casual eatery. The atmosphere is casual sophistication. The food was perfectly proportioned and delicious. The salmon eggs Benedict was perfect. Their orange juice and lattes were also excellent. This place is also conveniently located. Highly recommend.

Solid Breakfast 🥐 place but this wouldn't become my everyday go-to place. The filtered coffee ☕️ is sadly an absolute dissappontment😕 : flat and only bitter🥴. I couldn't finish it. The orange juice🍊 was okay but not 100% freshly squeezed as I know it from other Spanish🇪🇦 places....the food 🥪 was fine. Nice atmosphere. The restaurant otherwise is self service although I sat next to the bar and the girls brought me my order....very lovely👌 of them. My Total order was a Coffee, Orange juice and a Scrambled Egg sandwich with avocado 🥑 (which I almost didn't see or taste) for 13,80 € - actually too much in comparison to places that would get frequented by locals.

Note: There is a second larger location right nearby this (the smaller) location! Leaving a review for the larger store.
Food was delicious and served quickly. Everything we had was tasty, fairly priced for what it is. My favourite was the energetic toast (forgot to take a picture, sorry!).
While this is a self service store, the staff was extremely friendly and is willing to go above and beyond (when it is not busy). We came on an early morning and they simply dropped off food at our table directly, even when they didn’t have to!
Great spot if you’re looking for a simpler/healthy brunch option.
Jim Lewandoski★★☆☆☆
This space is quite nice, but the downstairs seating area which is small had the permeating smell of sewer gas wafting in from the bathroom (WC) on that floor (the upstairs seating was closed). I didn't realize this prior to ordering. The coffee was OK and food was only marginal, nothing spectacular, but I was disgusted by the polluted atmosphere and really couldn't wait to leave. I would not recommend this for visitors to Seville and I will contact the management team regarding this issue.

Big portions, tasty food and great service is all I need from a restaurant and Aba de Sevilla delivers. My avocado toast was stacked to the sky and everything tasted fresh. Cute place in the heart of the city with a weird construction like decoration. Wide choice of breakfast dishes, friendly but very slow service. Egg benedict nordico was super tasty. We visited Brunchit in Sevilla for morning brunch and, to be honest, we almost left before we even sat down. We waited quite a while without being acknowledged by the staff, which was disappointing initially.
However, the manager, Alvaro, completely turned our experience around. Once he noticed us, he was incredibly apologetic and genuine. He explained that he was new to the role and still settling in, and his sincerity in acknowledging the team's oversight was refreshing. He personally made sure we were comfortably seated and well looked after for the rest of our visit.
The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and with fun, trendy names that matched the quality on the plate. As a huge plus for parents, Alvaro went above and beyond by having the kitchen prepare a chicken burger for our daughter, even though it wasn't on the kids menu. Also, the flat white was spot on and exactly what we needed.
Without Alvaro’s intervention and kind hospitality, we wouldn't have stayed, but we are so glad we did. If you go, you’re in great hands with him.

If I could provide 6/5 stars for the service, I would! Yann was such an incredible host - he provided us with such insightful knowledge about the city and its culture, as well as showing respect for our dietary preferences. The menu has a vast array of options and suitable for vegetarians. Although it’s not halal, the host ensured that pork is cooked and prepared separately and there are plenty of options to choose from. I had the cilbir and it was delightful! Plenty of searing available both inside and outside. Place is very popular but we didn’t need to book!

I didn’t understand the hype about here. It definitelt is a tourist place, no locals would pay 20€ for a breakfast. The food was presented like art but lacked the taste. They did definetely not look like the pictures in the menu. There was sonething really wrong about the coffe. Very friendly and fluent English speaking staff was the only positive thing.

Dropped by Brunchit on my last morning in Sevilla and I’m glad I did! It’s a super aesthetic and cosy spot with aesthetically pleasing and truly good food (i felt bad touching my plate, it looked like such a work of art!)
Had a chai latte with my meal and a coffee to go and both were phenomenal!
Staff are also super kind and friendly (one guy especially was such a sarcastic polyglot, he unknowingly made my last day in such a beautiful city)
10/10 would go back!

Tips for Choosing the Perfect Breakfast Spot Near Torre del Oro
To make the most of your morning meal in this bustling tourist zone, a little local knowledge goes a long way. The area’s popularity means that quality can vary wildly from one street to the next, and timing is everything. Here is how to navigate the scene like a seasoned Sevillian rather than a day-tripper.
1. Mind the Spanish Clock
Sevillanos generally eat breakfast later than Northern Europeans but earlier than the typical American brunch rush. Most traditional cafés open early for the working crowd, but kitchens for brunch-specific menus often don’t open until 9:30 or 10:00 AM. If you want a quiet experience, aim for opening time; if you want a lively vibe, go after 11:30 AM.
2. Look for the "Tostada con Tomate"
If you want to eat like a local, skip the full English breakfast and order a media tostada with tomato and olive oil, or the classic jamón ibérico. The quality of the bread and the olive oil is the true test of a kitchen here. A place that uses cheap, pale tomatoes or low-grade oil is not worth your time, regardless of how nice the view is.
3. Beware of the "Menu del Día" Trap at Brunch Time
Many restaurants directly facing the river rely on foot traffic and offer lackluster set menus. For breakfast and brunch, venture one or two streets back from the Paseo de Cristóbal Colón. The rents are lower, the clientele is more local, and the ingredients are often fresher. The closer you are to the riverbank, the more you usually pay for the view rather than the food.
4. Check for Specialty Coffee
Spain has traditionally been a dark-roast, robusta-heavy country, but Seville has seen a specialty coffee boom. If you are a coffee connoisseur, look for cafés that advertise "café de especialidad" or have visible brands from local roasters like Ineffable or Syra. These spots often put the same care into their food menus.
5. Consider the Shade and the Season
Seville is one of the hottest cities in Europe. If you are visiting between May and September, an outdoor terrace on the east side of the river or a spot with strong air conditioning is non-negotiable for a pleasant meal. Conversely, in the mild winter months, a sun-drenched plaza table is the ultimate luxury. Always check if the venue has indoor seating to escape the midday heat.
The neighborhood surrounding the Torre del Oro is a dynamic tapestry of old and new, where the aroma of fresh churros mingles with the scent of single-origin espresso. Whether you choose a historic bar that has served bullfighters and poets or a modern brunch spot with river views, you are participating in a vital part of Seville’s daily culture.
Ultimately, the best meal is the one that allows you to slow down and watch the city wake up. Take your time, order another coffee, and let the rhythm of the Guadalquivir set the pace for your day.
