Seville is a city that rewards curiosity, and few landmarks capture its imaginative spirit quite like Setas de Sevilla. Officially named the Metropol Parasol, this striking wooden structure in La Encarnación square has become a must-see for its panoramic terrace and futuristic design. Yet beyond the architectural wonder, the surrounding streets form one of the most authentic commercial hearts of the Andalusian capital.
Understanding the retail landscape near the Setas requires looking past the obvious souvenir stands. This area is a genuine crossroads where traditional Seville meets contemporary trends, blending family-run businesses with modern concept stores. Whether you are hunting for local fashion, gourmet food, or artisan crafts, the neighborhoods radiating from this central hub offer a deeply rewarding shopping experience.
The true value of shopping here lies in the contrast between the different zones. To the south, you find the dense commercial grid of the old town, while to the north and east, the atmosphere shifts toward more local, residential retail. Because the Setas sits at the intersection of several distinct barrios, you can traverse multiple shopping personalities within a short, pleasant walk.
Navigating these streets efficiently matters, especially during the warm midday hours when the city pauses for lunch. Knowing where to find the best local boutiques versus the larger retail chains saves you time and energy. It also helps you avoid the generic tourist traps that cluster too closely to the main attraction, steering you toward quality and authenticity instead.
This guide is designed for travelers who want to combine their visit to the Setas with a practical shopping itinerary. We focus on areas that are easily walkable, safe, and rich in local character. From pedestrianized lanes to hidden plazas, the locations below offer everything from high-street fashion to unique gifts you will not find anywhere else in Spain.
Each recommended area has been selected for its accessibility from the Metropol Parasol and its distinct retail identity. Rather than listing individual shops in isolation, we highlight the streets and districts where the best shopping density exists. This allows you to explore organically while still having a clear sense of direction and purpose.
Below, you will find the ten best shopping areas near the Setas, arranged to help you plan a logical route. Whether you have a full day or just a couple of hours, these zones deliver a comprehensive look at Seville’s commercial culture.

I love this shopping mall. The location is very nice and easily accessible by Car, Bicycle and by walking for the people lives nearby. Very close to the Reina Mercedes Campus of Sevilla university. The shopping mall has almost all the top fashion brands. There is a branch of Primark in the mall. Nicely organized. They also have food course which is also nice.

Fabulous shopping centre, very difficult to get to and from if you're not familiar with the area. Don't go shopping there on Sunday because the shops are closed. 15euros to get an Uber from old town. Expensive just for a beer!

The building used to be train station and caught our eye as we were passing.
Always delighted that old iconic buildings are not destroyed but repurposed. The developer did a great job as the main features remain ie it feels like a railway station still but shops and cinema inside. Lovely to stroll through.

Beautiful building that was once a train station. I went to the Bodies Exhibition held in the mall and it was fairly interesting. Inside the shopping centre there's also a multi cinema, a McDonald's and a a few ceramic and craft shops.

Once a train station and now a small shopping mall, with a small tourist office, coffee shop l, Mcdonald and few other shops. It was nice to discover it while we were walking by.

Centro Comercial Los Arcos is a practical and well-located shopping center in Seville, offering a more relaxed and everyday retail experience compared to the city’s larger flagship department stores.
The mall has a straightforward, functional layout that makes it easy to navigate, with a solid mix of fashion stores, electronics, supermarkets, and casual dining options. It’s not about luxury or spectacle, but about convenience—everything is designed for quick access and efficient shopping.
One of its strengths is its accessibility. Located along one of Seville’s main avenues, it’s easy to reach by public transport or car, and it serves both locals and visitors staying in the eastern part of the city. Parking is generally convenient, which adds to its appeal for practical errands or short visits.
Inside, the atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious. You’ll find popular Spanish and international retail chains, a food court with simple but reliable options, and enough variety to cover most daily needs without needing to head into the historic center.
While it may not be a destination for a full-day outing, Los Arcos plays an important role as a neighborhood shopping hub. It’s the kind of place you appreciate for its efficiency, ease, and practicality—especially when you want to combine shopping with a low-stress stop during your time in Seville.
Kostas Peletidis★★★★☆
Nice shopping centre with all sorts of stores: clothes, shoes, house items, sports, gaming, and more. There is an Amazon Locker on the first basement that can be very useful. There are also places to have a coffee and a snack. On top of that, the best is yet to come because part of the building is closed to the public due to rennovation work. Crowd management could be better though, the place can be too crowded at times and some of the locals need adult guidance when walking in public spaces, creating health and safety hazards.

I was there a few weeks ago, there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Restrooms were pretty clean and they have some couches so that people can sit down

Sevilla Fashion Outlet is located approximately seven kilometers from the city center. The outlet is a single-story shopping center and is relatively small compared to other outlet malls. You can comfortably explore all the stores in about an hour. Despite its size, the outlet features a variety of shops, including well-known international and local brands. The prices are reasonable, making it a good option for those looking for discounts on quality products. Whether you're searching for fashion, accessories, or footwear, you’ll find a decent selection, though the variety may not be as extensive as in larger outlets.

The prices were much lower than the normal stores. The variability was very vast. I found everything I wanted. If you install its app before you go, you can collect points. Don’t forget that.

It's a good mall to shop famous brands like Nike, Puma, Columbia, Tommy Hilfiger, Lacoste, etc. Though it's quite far from the center of Seville there's a bus (pink) that goes to this place. The schedule is only limited as there are only 4 trips to go and return. Pay attention to this tp as not miss the bus on the way back to Seville. At the bus stop in the center of Seville just right beside the Plaza De España you can find the schedule. When you arrive at the outlet you can ask for the return times at the information desk. The restaurants are quite scarce here taking in consideration that this is a huge mall. There are bars like 100 Montaditos, Casa Miro, House of Juice for you to have some quick bites though.

Visited Nervión Plaza in Seville mainly for a walk around and had a pleasant experience.
The shopping centre is modern, clean and well maintained, making it a comfortable place to spend some time.
The selection of shops and restaurants is decent, and overall the atmosphere feels organised and enjoyable.
I would recommend visiting, especially as Seville is a very flat city and nearby Metropol Parasol (Las Setas) is one of the few great ways to enjoy panoramic views of the city.

It's a shopping centre with not cheap paid parking, but it is very much in the heart of Seville, slap bang next to the Seville FC stadium.

The cinema is one of the best quality/price since they closed the Sevilla Este's one. The shopping center has lot of options if you want to have a nice time shopping and getting some food.

A fair few decent shops at this Plaza and close to Sevilla's home football stadium, the Estadio Ramon Sanchez, which was impressive to see, as you can even see through to the pitch when it's closed. It is also close to other gardens too and therefore makes a nice walk / 1-2 hours out in Seville.

If I could, I would have given it 0/5. First of all, it's not a department store, but a souvenir shop.
It's supposed to offer a luggage storage service (Radical Luggage), but it doesn't. The clerk was very unfriendly. When asked questions and clarified the lack of service, he didn't respond, but was rude and annoyed, even though we had already paid for the storage service, which we ultimately couldn't use.

I found the same magnets everywhere else, but here they were the cheapest, half the price. You can find magnets for 1.5 euros. I think you should check here for other souvenirs too; everything is cheaper than in the city center.

No he reparado si aún mantienen los cines. La verdad es que había un tiempo que eran salas pequeñas (tipo multicines) donde era muy tranquilo y con imagen/sonido de calidad.

Good parking, which in Sevilla is not that easy to find!
Unfortunately, the excellent book shop closed down in 2016 leaving an ugly empty space. The small supermarket is OK, nothing special.
But the car parking, although pricey, is usually available. A big plus.

Armando Escobar★☆☆☆☆
After spending several hours shopping, my wife and I decided to take a break and have a coffee at the restaurant inside El Corte Inglés Duque.
Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. We stood at the entrance for a while waiting to be acknowledged. There were several staff members present, with some taking orders and others chatting nearby, yet no one seemed interested in greeting or seating customers.
Eventually, I made my way to the bar area and took a seat. One of the staff members told me he would be with me shortly, and he eventually took our order. My wife ordered a café con leche, and I ordered an affogato.
When the drinks arrived, my wife’s coffee was fine. However, my affogato was served in a glass that had visible smudges, fingerprints, and marks on the outside. I immediately pointed this out because I did not feel comfortable drinking from a glass that appeared dirty.
Rather than apologizing and replacing it without issue, the employee argued that the glass was not dirty. He then showed me another glass as an example, but when I held it up to the light, it appeared to have similar marks. I explained that the glasses needed to be cleaned more thoroughly.
What disappointed me most was not the dirty glass itself, but the attitude that followed. Instead of addressing the concern professionally, the employee became defensive and argued with me. At one point, he stated that I would still be charged for the drink. I made it clear that I was not going to drink from a glass that I believed was not properly clean.
The employee then spoke with his manager, who ultimately decided not to charge me for the affogato and only charged us for the café con leche.
I paid the bill immediately and left.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserved one. Mistakes happen in every restaurant. A dirty glass can be replaced in seconds. What should never happen is arguing with a customer who raises a legitimate cleanliness concern.
Considering El Corte Inglés positions itself as a premium shopping destination, I expected a much higher level of professionalism and customer service. Unfortunately, this visit fell well below those expectations.

We happened to be staying in a hotel very close by and after several shopping trips we needed to buy a carry on suitcase (!) so we went into El Corte Inglés. Tips for Shopping Near Setas de Sevilla
A little preparation goes a long way when exploring Seville’s retail districts, especially since local business hours and seasonal weather can affect your plans. The following tips are based on years of observing how commerce operates in this part of the city, from the rhythm of the siesta to the nuances of paying in smaller stores. Keep these practical points in mind to make your shopping experience smoother, safer, and more enjoyable.
Time your visits around local business hours. Most independent shops close between roughly 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM for the afternoon break, reopening until around 8:30 or 9:00 PM. Plan indoor or café breaks during the early afternoon, then resume shopping in the cooler evening hours.
Carry some cash and a reusable bag. While larger stores accept cards without issue, several traditional artisans and small boutiques may have minimum card amounts or prefer cash. A foldable tote also helps you avoid plastic bag fees and makes carrying purchases between districts easier.
Look for the “Hecho en España” or “Artesanía” labels. If you want an authentic souvenir, avoid mass-produced items with no origin marking. Quality local products, such as ceramics from Triana, leather goods, or hand-painted fans, often carry labels indicating Spanish or Andalusian craftsmanship.
Walk in the shaded side streets during summer. Seville’s heat is intense from June to September, and the wide plazas around the Setas can feel like a furnace. Use the narrow, shadowed lanes between shopping zones to stay cooler and discover smaller shops that larger groups often miss.
Negotiate only where it is customary. In traditional markets or with independent artisans, a polite request for a small discount on multiple items can be acceptable. However, in established boutiques or concept stores, prices are fixed, and haggling is not appropriate.
The area around Setas de Sevilla offers far more than a quick photo stop. It is a living commercial landscape where centuries-old trades coexist with modern design, and where the best finds often appear when you wander without a strict plan. By combining the structured routes above with the practical tips provided, you can turn a simple shopping trip into a deeper understanding of Seville’s local identity.
Before leaving the area, take a moment to revisit the Setas itself from street level. The contrast between the futuristic wooden canopy and the traditional shopfronts below captures what makes this part of Seville so compelling. Whether you leave with a handmade leather bag, a bottle of local olive oil, or simply a stronger sense of the city’s rhythm, the streets around the Metropol Parasol will leave a lasting impression.
