We had an incredible experience when we visited for breakfast. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and they provided excellent service. I ordered the shakshuka, which paired perfectly with their orange matcha cooler. The Spanish latte they serve here was fantastic. They're dog friendly and also offer outdoor seating. I highly recommend that anyone visiting the city stop by here!

The perfect brunch spot. After a few days here, it is the first meal we throughouly enjoyed. The turkish eggs and the burrata breakfast were both amazing. Smoothie was also great. All that at a fair price point. Highly recommend:) there's also two very cute dogs just casually chilling around sleeping and saying hi to customers!

Excellent small cafe very worthy of seeking out. We stopped in for lunch; there was a wait but well worth it. We ordered the Shakshuka Halloumi, it was healthy, satisfying, very comforting. The sauce was right amount of seasoning, very flavorful and served hot. The Trufada iberica was served on hearty bread, eggs cooked just right. A generous amount of ham on top, greens and the truffle paste all combined for a flavorful & satisfying meal. The Carioca smoothie was perfect protein smoothie on a hot day. The Vitamina juice was delicious and felt very fortifying. The staff at the juice bar never stopped working. Our server was super welcoming & spoke English for us. He was prompt and attentive to us and they were very busy.

Fantastic restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was prepared with great care. We especially appreciated that the restaurant is dog-friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was excellent, and the staff were kind and attentive. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely visit again!

Every single dish was a hit. It’s a pet friendly place, where the owner also kept his dogs in the store and of cos they named their store after their lovely dogs. We loved all the food that we ordered, especially the Protein Turkish eggs that was paired with their sourdough.. maybe I need more bread for the dip! The dips were soooo good, flavored with nuts and a tiny bit of spice (red pepper oil) that enhances all the flavours. And I got to learn it’s their local romesco sauce - a vibrant, smoky, nutty Spanish condiments originated from Catalonia region. I wiped out every drop of the sauce. Service was excellent, we were a big group but they try to put us together whenever possible so we could share all the amazing food orders and get to taste every single one on the menu. Thank you for having us. I love everything on the menu and to learn new flavour where culture’s involved, delighted my soul.

Loved all the food here and the service was amazing too. The smoothies aren’t strained so you drink with fibre which is really good. Loved the experience

Was probably the best breakfast I had while on holiday. Staff was attentive, food came quickly and was delicious, and had a nice seating area to relax and enjoy.

Beautiful little place, staff are so friendly and accommodating. The food is absolutely delicious (we had eggs benedict, it was unreal) and their smoothies are lovely. I would highly suggest a visit here when coming to see the sagarda familia.

Came here twice for breakfast during my stay in Barcelona. The food was fresh, tasty, and there were great healthier options to choose from. I really appreciated the early hours and that there are eggs on the menu! There are even gluten free items. Great option for early breakfast before hitting the sights like la Sagrada Familia. Indoor and outdoor seating. VERY clean and comfortable bathroom. Great prices. But best of all was the courteous service. Will recommend to other friends traveling to the area.

I really loved this place. The presentation was so original, and everything was delicious. Not only was our 6-year-old child amazed, but we adults were too) it truly brought out the inner child in us)) We came after brunch hours, and it was great that there were fewer people by then, so we could fully relax and enjoy the food without rushing. Definitely recommend this place.

I’ve been to this café twice, and both times we had an amazing experience! The food and coffee are not only delicious, but also beautifully presented and fun to enjoy. Definitely try their fancy pancakes! The kids also loved the kids’ meals. Highly recommended for girls’ catch-ups, family lunches, or just a lovely café time ☕️🤍

My family and I were in Spain and Portugal for a whole month and I can say with full sincerity that this was the number one restaurant we went to. A lot of the other restaurants and cafes give little food for such high prices which leaves you hungry and in search for another restaurant. This place was the first restaurant we went to that left us saying “we’re so full.” The food was magnificent (I recommend the Eggs Benedict but I’m biased for some good eggs 😋) and our waiter, Henjie, was absolutely marvelous. Everyone here is so incredibly nice and the atmosphere is amazing. I love you Henjie!!! You made our brunch an amazing experience 🫶🫶🫶

What a lovely lunch. We sat overlooking the park on a beautiful Barcelona afternoon and everything about the experience felt relaxed and easy. The mushroom toast was outstanding. The mushrooms were rich and savory, and the sun-dried tomatoes were used with a surprisingly light touch.. just enough to add brightness and depth without taking over the dish. One of those simple plates that is much better than it has any right to be. A special thank you to Noel, who took such wonderful care of us throughout the meal. Warm, attentive, and genuinely kind.. the kind of service that makes you want to linger a little longer. We’ll absolutely be back.
Katie Jordan★★★★★
A wide variety of classic brunch options including both American and typical Spanish meals. Very friendly and helpful staff who speak English. They will help you store luggage if needed. The American-style pancakes are large, fluffy and thick - I would estimate at least 2-3cm tall. The full American brunch is an enormous portion perfect to share. The scrambled eggs are cooked so that they are not at all runny on the outside, but when you cut into them they are warm and gooey. The bacon is cut in thick slices (more English style than American style). The sausages are slightly sweet. The Acai bowl is based around a sorbet of Acai, with plenty of fresh fruit and coconut shavings on top. The Acaï melts quite quickly around the edges so I would recommend eating from the outside of the bowl inwards. The tea/coffee/matcha is unsweetened. There is brown sugar available on the table. Free tap water.

We came for breakfast two days in a row because we were delighted with the food, the atmosphere and the staff. The food tastes great and looks beautiful. Coffee and hot chocolate completed the impression. Thanks to Fernando who wowed us with a little piece of art on the drinks. We were especially impressed by John, who made an effort to ensure that we were served with smile and kind words.

Lovely food, and nice staff. The vibe outside was cozy, though I think the vibe of sitting inside would make a difference for my rating, since you sit close to the road outside. We would recommend booking a table if you plan to come. We came in on a Sunday for brunch, and everything was fully booked, but still got to sit outside. Even though they were really busy, the staff was nice and reassuring. Be aware that it is a 10% fee for sitting outside. They have good food, okay coffee (esthetically i was really pretty though it didn't taste of that much), and really sweet staff. So we would recommend going to this place if you are nearby.
Louisa Ess★★★★★
Such a cute little café! I loved the handmade designs on the drinks—they were so pretty and made everything feel extra special. The breakfast was really filling too. The staff were lovely, and the whole place had a really relaxed, welcoming vibe. Definitely worth a visit, and I’ll be coming back!
Patrick Guinan★★★★★
You just have to visit this Brunch spot if your visiting Barcelona. Everything about this place was perfect..Despite not having a reservation we were warmly welcomed with the previso that we only had one hour which was not a problem for us and we soon realised why we only had one hour. International Women's Day was being celebrated and the staff were very kind in looking after my wife with an appropriately decorated cappuccino. Service was as good as I have come across and the food was top drawer. Really tasty and so well presented, I just wish I lived a little closer as I would definitely be a regular here..5 stars well justified.

The food was super yummy and decorative. The drinks were delicious, we all got smoothies which came out so cute and decorative. My friend ordered a latte and it was the cutest thing ever. However, my friend is vegan and ordered the vegan burger which ended up not being vegan at all. She was not happy with the vegan food options and for that reason I knocked off a star but we loved our food.

This was a beautiful place to enjoy with family and on top of the food was delicious. My coffee was so cute. The pope is in town, Jessica made me a cute specialty latte. Places you highly recommend, especially if you're coming in with friends or your girlfriends..

Reviewing brunch spots is somewhat of a new challenge, especially in a city like Barcelona, where there are hundreds of them and many feel like variations of the same concept. The real secret to a good brunch review lies in the subtleties: textures, presentation, and balance of flavors,as well as, of course, the courtesy of the staff. Nonna’s brunch is, so far, the best I’ve had in Barcelona. The Hollandaise sauce was impeccably velvety, and the eggs Benedict split and bled in a way that felt almost miraculous. The toppings are more than generous. The bread had a distinctly homemade crunch, far removed from anything artificial. The mushroom and egg toast came with a tartar-style sauce that elevated the entire dish (and, quite frankly, my day). The coffee also deserves a mention. I was genuinely surprised by how good the oat milk cappuccino was, and let’s be honest, oat milk coffee doesn’t always deliver. As promised, a note on the staff: consistently kind, and more importantly, genuinely cheerful, even when the place was full. I’ll definitely be coming back regularly for that oat milk cappuccino.

We found this place because it was near our hotel and what a lovely find. The food was delicious and plentiful. They have food coffee, mimosas and other fresh beverages for breakfast/brunch. We had a large group of 6 and they were able to accommodate. The service was quick, friendly and the price was well worth everything we had. We had French toast, eggs Benedict, pancakes and the chicken sandwich - we couldn’t find any pics so it’s the only one I’m posting. The wait staff is lovely. Don’t miss going here if you’re in the area - definitely worth the trip.

Sooooo yummy. The cafe is super cute inside and outside. The staff were all very friendly and nice to chat with. I had an iced latte and really enjoyed it. The turkish eggs were great. The french toast was also very yummy, maybe could have just used a little more syrup. Loved it all! Would totally recommend

This small brunch spot is perfect. Menu has enough options for anyone, service time can vary though wasn’t too high for me. Good ambiance, not too loud, you can easily talk. The food is great, the photos speak for themselves.

Great coffee, delicious brunch dishes. The gluten free bread is tasty and the veggies are so fresh. Solid brunch spot. Best cortado of my trip so far.

We really enjoyed our brunch at Berry Brunch Barcelona. The food was excellent — the pancakes were light and fluffy, the eggs were cooked just right, and everything felt fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is cool and modern with a relaxed, inviting vibe that makes it a nice spot to unwind. It was very busy when we went, which is usually a positive sign. Service was mostly decent, but unfortunately the drinks were a real letdown. We ordered them as soon as we sat down, but they didn’t arrive until well after our food was served. After waiting about 30 minutes, I had to ask the server twice before they finally came. She was nice about it, but it was clearly forgotten the first time. I was a bit disappointed because the prices are on the higher side for Barcelona, and I really didn’t want to dig into my pancakes and eggs without a drink. By the time the drinks showed up, the food had already cooled down more than I would have liked. Even with that hiccup, the quality of the food was strong enough that we’d gladly go back. Just hope they tighten up the drink timing on busier days. Recommended!

A fantastic experience! The presentation of the food was gorgeous and the taste matched it- often it’s one or the other! Wearable hats make it a fun photo opportunity before the food arrives. Our server Victoria was excellent 👌

We had a wonderful brunch experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The menu had great options, and everything we ordered was delicious. What really made our visit special was the service, Agustina and Alexandra were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great brunch with outstanding service!

Beautiful food and fantastic presentation! The menu has a great variety with lots of choice to pick from. A special shoutout to our waitress, Cristina, who was absolutely wonderful and made us feel so welcome. The only minor thing was that the burger was a little bit too salty for my taste, but overall, everything else was fantastic. Highly recommended!

An excellent find! Our family of four (two teenage boys) absolutely loved this! The flavors of our dishes were amazing and service fantastic! And the atmosphere is so cute with jamming music. Highly recommend!

We spent the week in Barcelona and found this gem of a restaurant. We had Tim as a server every morning. He was fantastic! Very friendly, accommodating and always greeted us with a smile. Honestly we went back every day because of him. The food is delicious and has a wonderful selection to choose from. The cappuccino is to die for. If you’re in the area it’s a must try!!!

I had a very delicious breakfast and was extremely satisfied. The food was great, and the experience was truly enjoyable. I went to Breakfast Club Brunch Barcelona with a group of friends for brunch, and overall the experience was a bit mixed. When we arrived, the atmosphere felt quite chaotic. The staff were clearly overwhelmed and running around, which made the service feel disorganized. We had to wait a while before getting our table, even though it wasn’t extremely busy. Once seated, we noticed that the table was quite small for four people, making it a little uncomfortable, especially once the food and drinks arrived. Speaking of drinks, they were fine nothing exceptional, but decent and enjoyable. For food, I ordered the eggs Benedict. They were okay, but honestly nothing memorable. I’ve had much better and tastier versions elsewhere, especially considering the reputation of the place. The vegetables that came with the dish were undercooked, which was disappointing and took away from the overall plate. In the end, the experience wasn’t bad, but it didn’t fully meet expectations. The place has potential, but better organization, more attentive service, and some improvements in food quality would make a big difference. Given the hype around this spot, I expected more.

Really good food! We were in the area and ended up here after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed. Glad we’ve tried it!

Great breakfast place. We were seated immediately (just a 1 minute wait on a Sunday morning) with group of 3. Eggs Benedict were tasty (local variant that i liked), great advocado toast as the 'el rancherito' toast with pulled pork. Large portion and freshly made. Recommended

Honestly one of my favourite moments of being in Barcelona was here! As a Sex and the City fan (but not only, my friend didn't watch the show and she still loved the place) I found the place amazing, full of references and so aesthetic. The food was amazing, tasty and we didn't wait much, so were the drinks. We expected it to be very busy, we arrived around 1 pm and even though we had made a reservation it was not needed as the place wasn't busy. At some point me and my friend were the only one there. We had so much fun, we took photos everywhere and the most fun part was the gossip book, where we could write or read anonymous gossips. You can also get a free drink if you post the gossip on Instagram. We stayed there for two hours and would have stayed more, we really felt amazing. The staff also made everything better, Markus (I hope I wrote his name right) was so nice to us, really kind and he made us feel really welcome. I definitely recommend the place and I would have loved to come back there if we had enough time, but we definitely will in the future! ❤️💋 For reference, we had brunch, coffee and desert (pancakes) and we expected to pay a lot, but the price was surprinsingly reasonable.

Delicious food and very nice staff. I had Brunch by Nanny and an iced caramel latte, then we shared Petrovsky for dessert. The eggs and bacon were perfectly cooked and were good quality products, the avocado also perfectly chosen. The latte was very tasty and not too sweet, which is always a nice touch, especially for a latter with caramel. As for Petrovsky, the Spanish menu described the dish as brioche-based, which we found a bit confusing. I think syrniki as in the web menu would have been a better description. They were tasty and not too sweet, the fruits were very fresh and tasty and the English cream nice, but if we had known they were syrniki and not brioche we might have gone for the pancakes today. They were still tasty though. Well balanced and tasty altogether, especially for a themed cafe, which I found surprising 😊.

A Brunch Experience Worth Talking About! A special mention to Henry, the owner, who is absolutely fabulous and incredibly stylish. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel so welcome with his warm personality, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. He truly sets the tone for an unforgettable experience. I had an amazing time at Brunch and The City. The restaurant is beautifully inspired by Sex and the City, with stylish décor and a fun atmosphere that perfectly captures the spirit of the iconic series. It’s the perfect spot for brunch with friends, a special occasion, or simply treating yourself. The food was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend the Mr. Big dish with avocado. Every bite was full of flavor, and the presentation was excellent. If you’re looking for one of the best brunch spots in Barcelona, this place is a must-visit. Great food, amazing vibes, and outstanding hospitality from Henry. I’ll definitely be back!
Nadzeya Marchukevich★★★☆☆
A cozy place, and the service was very fast despite the venue being fully booked. I don’t understand how the place is connected to the TV series, apart from the names and the photos on the walls — there’s no real unifying concept. As for the food: the oat-milk coffee was tasty. My friend liked the dish in photo #1, but the potatoes were too salty. The dish in photo #2 is more complicated — the first bite is very tasty, but halfway through it becomes too greasy and salty, and I couldn’t finish it.

An absolutely perfect place! The atmosphere was fantastic, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was simply outstanding. I would definitely come back!

Great food and beautiful decorations. We had the avocado toast with poached eggs and some fresh juice. It all tasted really good. The only bad thing was that the juice was a bit thin and the poached eggs were hard boiled. But overall super nice

Horrible ticking noise coming from the AC, very slow service, 15 minutes to get water and drinks, waiters barely know English, coffee was HORRIBLE literally undrinkable and ordered a lactose free drink and it came with whipped cream and we had to send it back! Moreover the bathroom literally opens unto the kitchen which is maybe the most unsanitary thing I’ve ever seen in a catering establishment! Basic maintenance of the AC and fixing the toilet as well as teaching your waiters basic English and some enthusiasm is the minimum to justify the exorbitant prices
Arnoud Gieles★★★☆☆
The good reviews drew us to this place, along with the fairylike decor in the front. However, we were given a seat in the back, where the decor is basic and a bit dilapidated. The food is definitely okay, with generous portions. Alot of effort is made to make it look special, but the taste lags behind the looks.

Amazing food and service. Alessia was our waitress. She came and checked on us a couple times during our visit to see if we needed anything (which is rare here in Barcelona as I do not think it is the custom, everywhere else we went we would have to get our waiter’s attention as they only came by to take orders and drop off food). Very lovely. She spoke Spanish and English and was very nice. We ordered the eggs benni, eggs carbonara, vanilla latte, and ube latte. Everything was delicious. I would definitely recommend. Thank you Alessia!

Chat gpt made plans for my vacation in Barcelona and I asked him where I can have nice breakfast. He told me this place, and I don’t disappointed🤩. Very pretty atmosphere, good food, my favourite egg Benedict was so delicious! And my waiter Gaia was very polite and kind, thank her so much! 100% recommendation to visit this cafe!

Tips for Choosing Your Ideal Breakfast Spot

To make the most of your morning near Casa Vicens, a little local knowledge goes a long way. The rhythm of Barcelona is different from other European cities, and understanding the local customs will help you avoid tourist traps and dine like a local. Here are some essential tips to guide your decision.

Match the hour to the meal: Traditional Spanish breakfasts are often light—think coffee and a pastry—while the heavier brunch culture kicks in later. If you arrive before 10:00 AM, look for a traditional bar or bakery. If you are eating after 11:00 AM, you will find the brunch kitchens are in full swing with eggs and heartier plates.

Look beyond the main street: While the Carrer de les Carolines directly facing Casa Vicens has a few spots, the real magic happens one or two streets into the Gràcia grid. Venturing slightly off the main tourist path often rewards you with better prices, fresher ingredients, and a more relaxed atmosphere away from the tour groups.

Check for "Menú del Día" timing: If your visit to Gaudí’s masterpiece extends into the early afternoon, you might overlap with lunch. Many restaurants stop serving breakfast around noon and switch to the "Menú del Día" (Menu of the Day). If you want brunch food specifically, ensure you are seated before the kitchen switches over.

Ask about fresh juice: One of the hallmarks of a great brunch spot in Barcelona is freshly squeezed orange juice. Avoid places that serve bottled juice, as fresh oranges are abundant in Spain. The quality of the juice is often a reliable indicator of the overall care the kitchen puts into the rest of the menu.

Consider dietary needs: Barcelona is incredibly vegan and vegetarian-friendly, especially in the Gràcia district.
