Whether you want a quiet spot to work, a sunny terrace for people-watching, or a specialty brew that would impress any coffee snob, Sitges has a table waiting for you.
From family-run bakeries that have served generations to modern roasters pushing the boundaries of flavor, the cafe scene reflects the town’s blend of tradition and openness.
This guide is built for real coffee lovers and curious travelers, not just list-chasers. Every recommendation below has been chosen for its distinct character, quality of product, and the experience it offers beyond the cup.

🌊⛵✨ Super nice friendly people, wonderful atmosphere, and great views of the sea at Tanto Gusto! The whole experience felt warm, relaxed, and welcoming from the very beginning. 🐶🤗
🥗✨ The fresh salad with fried cheese, mango, carrots, tomatoes, and walnuts was absolutely delicious. The combination of flavors was vibrant and perfectly balanced: sweet mango, crunchy walnuts, fresh vegetables, and warm crispy cheese created a truly memorable dish. 🍅🥭🥕🧀🌰
I like the empanadas 🥟✨ delicious stuffed pastries popular in Spain and especially in Argentina, where they are considered one of the classic traditional foods. They can be baked or fried and are usually filled with cheese, vegetables, meat, seafood, or other savory ingredients. The empanadas here were wonderfully crispy outside, warm and flavorful inside, and perfect as a tapa or starter. 😊🇦🇷
There seems to be a lovely Argentine influence in the cuisine and atmosphere, creating a warm, authentic, and relaxed dining experience. “Tanto Gusto” also has an Italian sound, which fits beautifully with the strong Italian cultural traditions found in Argentina. 🇦🇷🇮🇹✨
The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared with great attention to detail. Every dish felt comforting yet refined, with high quality ingredients and excellent presentation. 🍷🍅🌅
The service was kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly, and the restaurant was also very friendly with dogs 🐶💛, which made the atmosphere even more pleasant and welcoming.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent food, sea views, lovely ambiance, true hospitality, and a pet-friendly atmosphere in Sitges. Will gladly return again! ⭐👏🍝🍨

Best empanadas ever - light, flavourful, made fresh and cherry on top, more than 6 vegetarian options!!!!! Felt very spoilt.
The mushroom, spinach and caprese were our favourite. They are a bit pricey for the size though.
2 min walk from the beach and the perfect respite from the heat. Seating is limited but the staff is friendly and helps u settle in if you don’t want a takeaway!
Robbie Mackenzie★★★★★
Relaxed atmosphere, amazing empanadas! And the cakes are great too. I had to take one away after hearing other customers talk about how good they were.
Navsegda Mitya★★★★★
The empanadas were perfectly made fresh and delicious. My favorites were the Four Cheese and the Super Meat. They were genuinely tasty.
Diana Tuminez★★★★★
Cute spot, good vibes, and 5 of 5 empanadas! Great variety and so glad they had vegan options too. Trust me on this…they won me over especially as silly me was skeptical at first since I’m not an empanada person! I def want to come back. The lasagna looks mouthwatering.

We had such a great experience at Gaby's! The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, traditional and full of flavor. You can really tell they care about quality.
The best part, though, was the staff. The young team was incredibly friendly, welcoming and always smiling, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived.
On top of that, the prices are very fair for the quality and portions you get. Great value for money!
If you're in Sitges and want authentic food with amazing service, Gaby's is definitely a place you shouldn't miss. We'll be back for sure ❤️
Maxim Matsiushonak★★☆☆☆
The only reason for 2 stars is the beer, good fries, and a decent burger. The rest was a big disappointment.
We ordered a custom burger, tacos, a quesadilla, beer, sangria, and a Long Island Iced Tea.
The Burger: Just okay. At around €21, it’s completely overpriced for what it is. There was no wow-factor, and the sauce lacked flavor. It heavily loses to good burger places I've been to elsewhere.
The Food: The meat in the tacos and quesadilla was way too salty. The tacos also had very sour onions and an overpowering hot sauce. On top of that, the serving layout has zero table UX: the tacos are served on a metal stand on a flat wooden board without any regular plates provided. Everything leaks from the sides straight onto your hands.
The Drinks: Absolutely terrible. The Long Island (as seen in my photo) tasted completely watered down, as if it was diluted with water instead of cola. The sangria was just as bad - very watery, like they mixed cheap wine with water and threw in some apples.
Atmosphere: Even though there are air conditioners inside, they were either turned off or working so poorly that it was stuffy, even for a evening dinner. It made the experience even more uncomfortable.
Overall, not worth the money. If you do come here, stick strictly to beer and basic fries.

I have come to Sitges 5 days ago. Our hotel is just a stone throw away from this establishment. I suffer with ceoliac disease and, am restricted to a Gluten free diet. After searching high and low I googled places that cater for ceoliacs and GABYS popped up straight away. With Google maps I had no problem in finding the location. On arrival, we were Welcomed by the staff and showing to our seat. They gave me a full explanation of the foods that I could have. The staff are exceptionally friendly, the establishment is spotlessly clean, good variety of music and decor. Food is of high quality and tastes amazing. This isn't 3rd day back and I'll definitely be back again. I would highly recommend Gabys for food if your here visiting Sitges
Joseph Coggins★★★★★
The food was very good and the music selection made for a great atmosphere. Luz was amazing and makes the best cafe con leche. We had two each. Thank you for all you did for us and you handled an unruly customer with the calm of a saint.

We went to Gaby's in Sitges for breakfast and had a really good experience. Two breakfasts and two drinks came to under €30 - great value!
Service was fantastic. Friendly, welcoming and quick, but we didn't feel rushed.
We had the avocado with fried egg and the breakfast burrito (without bacon as we're vegetarian). Both were delicious and really generous portions.
The restaurant is right on the waterfront, so it's a lovely place to sit in the morning.
Would definitely recommend if you're in Sitges.

We visited recently and it’s a bit of a mix. On the positive side, the food itself was really nice and we enjoyed what we ate. The atmosphere was also relaxing and nice.
However, the service was a bit off. It wasn't even that busy, but they managed to get three things wrong with our order. They did correct the mistakes after we told them.
Also, just a heads-up: they charge extra for sauces here. I was hit with a charge for mayonnaise, which has honestly never happened to me before at a restaurant.
Maybe we just had a bit of bad luck with our the service, but I would still recommend giving them a try for the food, just keep an eye on your order hehe
Suraj Dubey★★★★☆
Just checked out this new cafe and wow, the vibe is totally on point! They have some seriously tasty options on the menu, making it a tough decision. It was a bit of a squeeze though, definitely packed with people today. Service was a little sluggish because of the crowd, but hey, it's a popular spot for a reason! I can already tell this place is going to be a hot ticket, especially when summer rolls around. Still, I'd recommend it for a chill hangout. #CafeVibes #GoodEats

Very nice breakfast place! Food and prices are very good. We even went there 2 days in row. Service is ok. But the pigeons are super annoying and make it feel not so clean eating there.

Visited in May 26.
We had a nice breakfast.
Toast and avocado, omellet with bacon.
Nice tetasse, great staff, a quiet place.
Clean bathroom, not an expensive place.
Enjoy a nice coffee and relax.

Service was good, friendly staff. Spacious. Ordered a special coffee that wasn’t on the menu upon my taste and they made it right away. 🌙💗⭐️

Absolutely love this little local café! The specialty coffee is the best in Sitges and Barcelona, and the people who run it are so lovely and welcoming. The coffee is clearly made with love, you can take it to the beach just beside the cafe, or enjoy the AC inside the café. Such a great local spot — I’d highly recommend it to anyone! ☕️❤️
Kyra Kellawan★★★★★
Sitges has long needed a specialty coffee place with heart and soul and here you’ll find a team of real café artisans. They make each cup with love and care, they are kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable about coffee without being pretentious or judgey about your order 🙂 - in fact they will remember it for next time! They are showcasing the best Honduran beans, and the horchata latte is simply the best start to your day you’ll find. 💯 recommended!
Camila Tobar★★★★★
Best specialty coffee in Sitges! I tried the horchata latte and love it! Delicious twist of an iced latte. It is sweet, rich and refreshing - perfect combination between horchata and coffee.
Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and cute ✨
Monica Kamel-Rust★★★★★
Best coffee ☕️ in Sitges hands down. I’m really fussy with coffee, and I was skeptical with the 5 star rating but I was happy to try it, and it was the best, I came back for more before heading home. Beautiful spot, tucked away. Friendly service, fresh & smooth coffee, full of flavour without the acidity. Highly recommend
Fredrik★★★★★
This is easily THE spot in town for someone who really enjoy and care for coffee. It’s not your average Spanish coffee, you will pay a slight premium but it’s oh so worth it if you value coffee and how it’s sourced.
-Delicious cups of coffee. I tried espresso, flat white, decaf and their v60. All hit the spot.
-Super friendly crew, and this cannot be understated - absolute 10/10.
-Location is small but works well as a bar to drop into. Located in the entrance of a coworking space and they offer four seats or so.
Apart from coffee they also offer matcha and horchata. All drinks served hot or cold.
As someone with a sweet tooth, they sadly do not offer any pastries (yet).
However you can buy their beans to bring home, so you can enjoy a similar cup of coffee in your own comfort.
Selfishly I would love to see this place quiet but I look forward to see the future of Gallo as a brand and café, wish you nothing but success - I’m officially a fan.

El Secret is a special place in Sitges. I’ve lived here for 6 years and my friends and I come at least 3-4 times a week. The food is consistently amazing (large menu so there are options for everyone) and the cocktails are incredible! The staff always make me feel at home and welcome me with a smile every time I come. I highly recommend checking this place out whether you live here in Sitges or are here on vacation!
Alex Vermaak★★★★★
Lovely outside seating under an olive tree. Rustic island vibes. Cute little tables with a little plant on each.
Staff were so friendly. Felt like they knew me 🙂
Had the vermouth - would recommend. Didn’t dine here but the menu and food from tables next door looked good.
Mande Lindeque★★☆☆☆
Overall, my experience was pretty disappointing. The Piña Coladas were very watery and completely lacked tropical flavor. The chicken burrito was also a letdown—it barely had any filling, basically consisting of just a dry wrap with a sparse amount of chicken and lettuce. I wouldn’t order these items again.
Eric Merten★★★★★
I really love this place. The food is great. They have many different options to choose from. Indonesian, Iberian, French, American. The staff working the restaurant are very attentive. Nice outside space to chill and people watch as well as indoor seating.
Nella★★★★☆
The food and drinks are absolutely delicious. The servers are just a bit too laid back…we had to constantly wave/call out to our waitress just to get some service.

We went there for brunch, ordered catalonian breakfast, egg benedict with bacon, capuccino, and green tea.
Well it's hard to mess the tea but capuccino was forgotten having only 5 other people in the cafe.
Egg benedict is just bread, bacon, eggs and sauce. No veggies or something, simple as that. It was edible but sorry it's far from something I would recommend others to try.
Catalonian breakfast was okay but also no veggies, just full of fat and nothing what would say that it's a healthy brunch option.
We were not pleased with the service also as our food was made after like 20-30 minutes. Don't know what you need to do for so long in kitchen to boil 2 eggs and toast a slice of bread. Sorry but there's just so much space for improvement.
Lisa Mattsson★★★★★
Beautiful place with really nice vibes. The sandwiches, coffee and staff were lovely!
Glen L★★★★★
Excellent experience for the 3rd consecutive visit. Very good service, food and atmosphere. Has quickly become a “go-to” place for me. Danny and Touda are a great team that provide exceptional customer service. The food is always hot and fresh!!! Great prices too!

I popped into Davant for a coffee, and it completely made my morning. The space is super bright and vibrant—love the bold blue tables and warm, relaxed atmosphere.
What really blew me away was the coffee itself. They feature specialty Peruvian beans from Cachete Café (from the Jaén, Cajamarca region), and you can taste the quality in every sip—wonderfully balanced, smooth, and full of flavor. Paired with a quick bite from their breakfast menu, it’s easily one of my favorite spots in town. I’ll definitely be back!

For 2 of us we ordered 3 dishes: the salmon-avocado toast, pancakes with strawberries and bananas and a bagel with cream cheese. The portions are not huge so we were glad we ordered 3 things to share between us. It was all very tasty and the people were friendly. We would definitely go back.
Vera Spirina★★★★★
A great cafe on the other side of the train station. It was convenient to have breakfast before the bus trip to the airport.
The avocado toast was delicious but very cold. There is a changing table in the restroom.

We found this little cafe for breakfast/brunch by chance after visiting a pharmacy nearby for our rapid antigen test. I found this place was quite local and less touristy which was excellent for a change. We sat outside which had cool
localish atmosphere. The pancake with ham and cheese was delicious. The coconut dream was very fresh and refreshing although not strong coconut taste. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable for two of us. Around €26.

We had a delightful lunch on a hot afternoon! It’s a pity they were out of arroz negro and we had to take the only meat-free options left, but it was tasty and very nice anyway!

Absolutely lovely restaurant. We stopped in after a trip to the beach where we were greeted by the fantastic server Diego. He was very welcoming and explained the three course lunch menu. We tried a number of different things from the menu and they were all great. The carbonara, Texas ribs and lemon desert were favorites. Would recommend and definitely come back again .

Overall, quite disappointed. My family and I decided to have breakfast and, encouraged by the good reviews, chose this particular restaurant. We had no problem getting a table for four. We chose the English breakfast and cappuccino. We didn't wait long for our drinks, and the coffee was nicely served; unfortunately, the taste was very average. We received our breakfast shortly after the coffee. We were very disappointed that for the price, no vegetables were included, even though the standard English breakfast also includes mushrooms and tomatoes. The worst thing about this breakfast was the sausages, which were paper-taste and had some hard bits. Spain is known for its exquisite cold meats and sausages, but what we got was the worst pseudo-sausage I'd be afraid to give to my dog. Furthermore, the baked beans we got were cold, as if served straight from a can. In short, the breakfast was the worst we've had in Sitges so far. For the price, and despite the excellent service, I wouldn't recommend it.
Elena Kucherova★★★★★
Good spot for grabbing little bite and coffee. Coffee is served with a small croissant which is fresh and delicios. Menu has a lot of various options - bagels, toasts, croissants, pancakes, egg dishes. Prices are fair and the ham and cheese croissants were superb. Service was quick and they speak English 🙂
Luis Lake★★★★★
Great place to have breakfast/brunch. Andrea was an AMAZING waiter, super charming and attentive to his customers. The food is beautiful, very delicious and great portions, the coffee is one of the best in Sitges. We were there 3 times for brunch, and the food + plus the service were great throughout the visit. I genuinely think if you score this place anything less then 4 stars you should consider you as the problem, bear in mind this isn’t a vegan brunch or breakfast place, like most of Spain, so don’t nock the restaurant down if they don’t have plenty of vegan options.
I also recommend you paying a little visit to the back of the restaurant to see how small the kitchen is, it will make you appreciate even more you meal. I can’t make any comments on dinner as I was there only for breakfast and brunch.
Andrea and team thanks for the amazing service and the beautiful food.
I will definitely recommend the place to my friends and family. I will see you soon! Luis🙂

Beautiful space decorated in classic tiles on the floor, exposed brick on one wall, calm painted colors on the others, with a light-hearted aesthetic and accents of greenery and Asian crane wallpaper.
The front end is the cafe, which is open to all. There's enough space for a dozen people to sit comfortably. The back end is the members-only space for co-working. It's intended for remote workers who've transplanted to Sitges, though you're welcome to grab a day pass for 20€.
The founder Natalie was running the counter. She is friendly and very helpful. It's her vision to make this space welcoming to all.
We had the cold brew and iced lavender fizz. WONDERFUL flavors accented with citrus garnish. The cold brew with the orange wedge inside was incredibly refreshing. The iced lavender fizz was mildly sweet and lightly bubbly with a dehydrated lemon atop. I would 100% suggest both beverages!

I enjoyed the gilda manchega tapa, a delicious Spanish omelette with eggplant 🍆, a fresh tuna & romesco salad, and very good coffee ☕ and cappuccino. Everything tasted authentic, well prepared, and satisfying. A very pleasant place to relax and enjoy local food in Sitges. 😊🍷

The cheese cake is realllllly great! The best I’ve ever eaten. The cream beside and itself is really a great couple! The white wine is also good.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was great. We had patatas bravas, tomato bread, a sandwich, and a Spanish omelet. Everything was fresh and tasty; the sangria was quite strong, but also good. The restaurant has a cozy terrace in the backyard—check it out if you want to escape the street noise.
How to Choose Your Ideal Cafe in Sitges
The right cafe depends on what kind of moment you want to create. A morning espresso at a standing bar feels very different from a slow flat white on a shaded terrace, and Sitges offers both in abundance. To make the most of your time, think about whether you need strong Wi-Fi, a quiet corner, a view of the sea, or simply the best possible cup of coffee. Here are five practical tips to help you choose well.
1. Know the local coffee language
In Sitges, as in much of Spain, a “café solo” is an espresso, a “cortado” is an espresso with a splash of milk, and a “café con leche” is closer to a latte. If you want a larger, milder coffee, order a “café americano.” Asking for a flat white or cold brew is fine in specialty shops, but traditional cafes may not serve them. Use the local terms and you’ll blend in more easily.
2. Check the terrace situation before you sit
Many cafes in Sitges charge a small supplement for table service, especially on busy terraces facing the sea or the church. It’s usually listed on the menu, but it’s easy to miss. If you’re on a budget or just want a quick coffee, ordering at the bar is always cheaper than sitting down.
3. Timing changes everything
Sitges moves on a Mediterranean clock. Locals often grab a quick coffee at the bar mid-morning, while late afternoon is prime time for a leisurely “merienda” with something sweet. If you want a quiet table, avoid the 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. rush and the post-lunch lull when many places briefly close or slow down.
4. Look for house-roasted beans and daily pastries
The best cafes in Sitges are often small roasters or bakeries that prepare their own products. A cafe that roasts its own beans will usually have fresher coffee and more knowledgeable staff. Likewise, if you see a display of pastries made in-house, that’s a strong sign the rest of the menu is cared for.
5. Bring cash for small purchases
While most cafes in Sitges accept cards, some smaller family-run spots still prefer cash for orders under five euros. Carrying a few coins also makes it easier to hop between a traditional bar and a specialty cafe without worrying about minimum card payments.
The beauty of Sitges is that you don’t have to commit to just one cafe. You can start your morning with a serious pour-over in a specialty shop, pause for a traditional cortado in a tiled old-town bar, and end the day with a glass of wine on a sea-view terrace that happens to serve excellent coffee too.
Let the town’s rhythm guide you. The best cafe in Sitges is rarely the one with the longest line or the loudest hype — it’s the one where the coffee tastes right, the light falls gently on your table, and you feel no rush to leave.
