Waking up to the gentle sound of the Mediterranean and stepping onto a balcony overlooking golden sand is the quintessential Benidorm experience. This vibrant city on Spain’s Costa Blanca is renowned for its unique skyline, where towering hotels meet two of the best urban beaches in Europe. Finding the right base here is essential, as your choice of accommodation dictates not just your view, but your access to the promenade, the old town, and the lively nightlife.
While Benidorm is famous for its bustling atmosphere and high-rise architecture, the quality of its beachfront properties varies significantly. Some offer refined luxury and tranquility, while others place you directly in the heart of the action. Whether you are planning a romantic getaway, a family holiday, or a trip with friends, staying on the first line of the sea eliminates the need for transport and maximizes your time in the sun.
The term "beachfront" in Benidorm generally refers to hotels situated directly on the Paseo Marítimo or those with no roads separating them from the sand. These properties command premium prices, but the convenience of having your room just steps from the water is often worth the investment. You can easily pop back to your room for a siesta, a change of clothes, or to drop off shopping without interrupting your day.
Levante Beach and Poniente Beach offer two distinct personalities. Levante is the energetic heart of the resort, backed by a dense strip of hotels, bars, and restaurants. Poniente, on the other hand, is wider, slightly more relaxed, and often favored by Spanish families and those seeking a more sophisticated pace. The best hotels understand the character of the sand they sit upon.
Accessibility is another key factor when selecting a beachfront stay. The best properties offer not just proximity to the sea, but also easy access to the charming Casco Antiguo (Old Town) and the tapas bars tucked away in its narrow streets. A hotel on the far end of Poniente will feel like a different world compared to one sitting in the middle of Levante, despite both offering sea views.
Our selection below focuses on properties that combine prime positioning with excellent amenities, high standards of service, and genuine value. We have considered factors such as the quality of the pool areas, the dining options, and the overall guest experience to ensure you find a hotel that truly enhances your visit to this iconic Spanish destination.
To help you plan the perfect seaside escape, we have compiled a list of the definitive places to stay directly on the sand.

The terrace manager/pool boy Pepe is a polite and correct man who ensures that the hotel guests can enjoy the hotel facilities to the fullest. If "strangers" try to misuse the facilities, he acts politely, correctly, and kindly! And that is greatly appreciated by the guests! But it is not just Pepe; compliments to all the staff for the pleasant and trustworthy experience when you book this hotel! Thank you!

Friendly and helpful staff, it's right next to the beach and convenience for most amenities.
The disappointment was related to the breakfast buffet although I won't go into details. All in all we would recommend it.

What a fabulous hotel in Benidrom. Maybe the best view in town (balconies overlooking the beach with rock in distance) and perfectly located, with excellent food and drink (the buffet dinner in particular), wonderfully helpful staff (both on front desk and at the bar), and all for an extremely reasonable rate. Lounging by the pool with a couple of tostadas, an ice cold beer, and the sea lapping just a few metres away - brilliant. Thank you to Estela and the whole team for a brilliant stay.
Our adventures Around★★★★★
Central location and honestly couldn’t recommend the Cimbel highly enough to anyone visiting Benidorm.
It’s not a budget hotel so if that’s what you’re looking for move on and consider alternatives.
Pool is perfect, deep and very clean.
Plenty of sun loungers available around and also tables and seating allowing you to watch the views of Benidorm pass by this beautiful hotel.
Staff always happy to help and have a great welcoming smile whenever you need to talk to them from arriving through to check out.
First floor rooms on the front are all small pool rooms, these we would book if visiting in the future, they just give you a little more space.
Our first room we had to change as previous guests had smoked in it, that’s the only negative aspect of our stay and after quickly talking to the team on reception we had an alternative room and it was absolutely perfect!
Bathrooms plenty of space and shower is super powerful just how we like it! Dual sinks allowed for both of us to get ready together with no issues.
Breakfast is amazing! Plenty of choice, amazing orange juice and lots of hot coffee…. The variety of fresh fruit and pastries on offer is great and constantly refreshed, make sure you try the pink coated jam cakes they are amazing!

Easy to get to from the hotel, plentof transfers, right on the main strip, 5 min walk from the beach, drinks were amazing stawb daiquiri, pina colada and the baileys choco was my fav. Pool area was clean and tidy, plenty of staff around if you needed help. We had a small issue with a weird sewage smell on our room bathroom but other than that room was clean. Loved having a balcony, housekeeping gives you new towels or you can skip 2 days a get a free bucket of beers. Plenty to do around and in hotel, music starts at 10, dj and entertainment are on 12-6ish, food was nice hudge portions too. All the the staff were lovely especially the waiters at the pool, only mentioned I'd say is we did not realise it was 300 deposit per booking turns out its 150 per person.

Had an amazing stay at the Marina Hotel Benidorm! The highlight for me was definitely the pool bar staff. They were friendly, welcoming, and always had a smile on their faces, even when it was busy. The service was quick, the drinks were great, and they really helped create a fun and relaxed atmosphere around the pool.
Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they made everyone feel looked after throughout the day. Their positive energy and professionalism added so much to the holiday experience.
The hotel itself is in a fantastic location with a great pool area, but the bar staff are what really made the stay memorable. A big thank you to the whole team – I’ll definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at the Marina Hotel in Benidorm! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by Alvaro, Silvia, Iris, Uxe, Natalia and Conner. Every one of them went above and beyond to make our holiday special.
The whole team were incredibly friendly, helpful and always had a smile on their faces. They really made our stay so much more enjoyable and created such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. A special mention to the entertainment team too—especially the dancers—who were absolutely stunning and kept everyone entertained.
Thank you all for making our holiday so memorable. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend the Marina Hotel to anyone visiting Benidorm!

Having stayed at the Marina twice, it is without doubt that this hotel consistently does so much to maintain its reputation...
The staff are generally attentive, hard working and driven.
The location of the hotel right in centre strip of Calle Gerona means you're always walkable to almost anywhere in Benidorm.
The rooms are kept to a good standard and very clean. And the drinks offerings are vast and most importantly fairly priced.
This place knows what it wants to achieve, knows its target market and does everything it can to achieve it while keeping the prices fair and standards high.
We have just returned as a group of 19 lads and wouldnt hesitate to return to the Marina next year.

Great hotel, only let down in my opinion by the food, we ate in the hotel one evening and the food wasn't the best, breakfast we ate almost every morning and was of a very good standard. We stayed in one of the premium seaview rooms, a bit of noise from the bar next door but only through the day time and early evening, the safe was free of charge and the mini bar was restocked free of charge every day both nice touches, the TV in our room and our friends couldn't be made to go any louder than 12, I get it but it was annoying as it wasn't quite loud enough. Location of the hotel is fantastic and the view from the front is amazing. Overall a really good hotel if you only do bed and breakfast.
Leon Barnfield★★★★☆
I would have liked to have given this hotel five stars across the board. However there are a few things that I would like to see changed.
The food in the restaurant in the evening for my liking is served too late at 7:30 p.m, Reason for this is if you are going out go out, be that to a bar or a show, you end up feeling uncomfortable with having just eaten with no time to rest after your meal.
The lifts are far too slow and archaic. I would expect a beautiful hotel like this to have faster lifts and go up and down a lot quicker. You press the lift button and wait forever. Then when you select your floor inside, you seem to wait 30 seconds for the door to close and it does not matter if you press the close button, it does not work.
There was a fight on our first day for the sun beds. We were all told to queue as the area doesn't open till 10:00 a.m. On that note, I like to sit around the pool as I am up at 6:00 a.m. and potentially have my breakfast on the terrace, this is an option that simply is not available at this hotel. We had to queue behind a chain and there were two locations chained off half the people queued at one location half of the other. We were then told that there was only one queue at the other location so we did not get a sun bed... NOT ACCEPTABLE. This fight for sunbeds continued throughout our stay.
The rooms were modern and nice and the mini bar with soft drinks was replenished everyday. However, the air conditioning is very archaic and needs updating as it was not fit to chill the room to a suitable level. I reported this to the cleaner and nothing at all was done. Upon investigation further myself I could see the inlet air filter was totally caked in dust, thus stifling the air conditioning unit.
The downstairs bar looks and feels a little dated There is not much atmosphere in this downstairs indoor bar at all, in fact, no one seems to use it at all. There is one door open out of this bar onto the swimming pool area right next to the bar and it does not feel welcoming to step out or step into this room via the pool area. Come on guys open up all of the doors!
There is a revolving door in the entrance of this hotel that was never opened.
We had to use a side sliding door. Furthermore, we had to go outside to come back inside to use the restaurant as the door from reception is permanently closed, I stayed here a few years ago and this door was permanently open.
However, overall the staff and facilities were very good, all of the staff were so friendly and helpful, the management needs to heed these suggestions as it could make a good hotel a perfect hotel.

My friend and I had a truly fantastic time at INNSiDE Costablanca! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right opposite the beach. If you're looking for a peaceful night's sleep, this probably isn't the place. With drunk guests shouting at full volume and the street's late-night boxing championships right outside your window. When we mentioned the noise to staff, they seemed more annoyed than concerned.
The pool was tiny and permanently surrounded by packs of loud, drunken guests. We even asked if there happened to be a second pool and were told to "go in the sea." 😂 To be fair... we took their advice, and it was by far the better option.
Breakfast was cheap and stale, although the freshly cooked eggs deserve a mention they were the highlight.
We paid extra for a room with a view and, we got one, a front-row seat to drunken arguments and the occasional street fight. Brilliant if you're a fan of reality TV. Less so if you were hoping for a relaxing holiday.

This is my home away from home while in town; it’s always my first choice. Being an adults-only hotel, it’s a lot quieter than some of the others nearby. Perfectly located on the seafront, you can literally step out the front door and onto the beach. This hotel is situated closer to the Old Town and has a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are bookable as a buffet and never disappoint. There are lots of local dishes as well as some home comforts! There is live entertainment most days around the pool and plenty of sunbeds. If you are looking for a hotel with a more Spanish feel, this is the place.

What a lovely hotel in Benidorms old town. Ideally located for the beach, the traditional tapas bars and shops. Check in was easy and the member of the reception team was very nice, friendly and attentive. The room is bright and modern, with a balcony overlooking the pool, which is a bonus. The breakfast is very good with plenty to choose from. We will definitely stay here again ( very good value) 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

TL;DR: Awesome place, don’t hesitate, book it 😎
We spent a fantastic week here. I had some doubts when I was checking the reviews, but ignore those few bad comments — I really don’t understand those people. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes’ walk from the old town and only a few steps from the sandy beach.
The staff are exceptionally friendly, and I strongly recommend booking full board because the food is also fantastic. You have a wide range of dishes available throughout the day, including seafood, paella, pizza, a wide selection of fruit, and freshly grilled stuff.
Honestly, we thought we might visit some restaurants, but the quality and variety — and the fact that you can choose whatever you want without waiting or booking, and even just taste something if you prefer — made visits to other restaurants simply unnecessary.
The pool area is not overcrowded. You will always find sunbeds and shade available. Victor, Andres, Angela, Laura, and the rest of the animation team take care of your entertainment all day.
Drinks are reasonably priced, and if you join the hotel’s guest programme, you also get a nice discount.
For a small deposit, you get beach towels that you can change daily.
For us, Corona del Mar is a 10/10. Strongly recommended, and we will definitely come again!

Great solid four stars. Sea view room is well worth the extra. Love listening to the waves.
Big rooms and clean and fresh.
UK tv channels very patchy and would like to have background music at the pool but otherwise very good. The pool attendant Victor is very attentive and keeps the pool in good order all day. He is a credit to the team.

Amazing local Spanish Hotel, Amazing Staff including reception, Pool, Animation, Kitchen, SPA and House keeping.
Nice food varieties including fresh seafood, Lamb, Beef, Salad Bar. Good choices for different taste.
Straight in the beach and very short walk to old town. Also they have very good accessibility facilities.
Thanks to everyone, We will be back soon.

3 stars is generous.
These reviews are crazy. It's one of the most basic hotels I've ever stayed in.
For our 'superior standard' we've got 2 tiny single beds, a small room with a balcony overlooking the road with plastic furniture.
The bathroom has a shower over a bath and 1 basin. With all in one body wash/shampoo.
The room itself has central air conditioning which is on or not on, no temperature control and the air vent is directed towards the window, so I've had to move my bed.
There's a decidedly dodgy looking carpet throughout and the wallpaper is filthy.
There's 2 bottles of water in the barely cold fridge and packets of freeze dried coffee with a kettle. Not even a coffee machine, never mind a welcome pack.
The lifts barely fit 2 people, there was no offer of a bell boy.
I'm truly struggling to understand the ratings. Fine, if you're paying for and expecting a premiere inn experience but definitely not 4 star.

The best hotel we have ever stayed in. We received a very warm welcome from the reception staff. A very spacious room with all the facilities you need. The entire hotel was spotless throughout. The entertainment was excellent with a special mention to David who made us smile everyday. We have already booked a return stay at the hotel.

The room was a good size with very modern styling and a comfy bed. The owners were Really helpful and gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy too.
The side street is a little run down, and there is no parking nearby
Kati Racz★☆☆☆☆
The condition of the building was absolutely terrible, heavily contaminated with dirt and rotting debris. Cockroaches were visibly everywhere, crawling across walls, floors, and furniture. The apartment itself was extremely unclean, with blood stains clearly visible on the mattress, indicating poor hygiene and maintenance.
When we addressed these issues with the owner, they responded with numerous excuses and offered a complimentary night's stay as a gesture of goodwill. This response felt insincere and dismissive given the severity of the problems. Who would consider returning to such an environment? Honestly, it's unimaginable!
Dear Barbara!!! Do you really believe what you commented on our review???? It is clearly showing how cheap you are!!!!! Shame on you.

We stayed here for 7 nights. The hotel was lovely and clean, staff were all lovely and attentive, very helpful. Rooms were large and well equipt, huge comfortable bed, bed settee, TV, kettle, coffee/tea, mini fridge in room, hair dryer, 2 sinks, bath and shower. Aircon is set at 21 degrees which we found comfortable even though we'd have liked slightly lower. Food was amazing every day, every meal. The only thing I would criticise is that there was no kids menu, so it wasn't great for picky eaters some days. For adults, get yourself stuck in, everything was delicious. Was very happy staying here and would very happily stay again. There's also a roof top bar with amazing views across all of benidorm, win!

Great hotel with mostly friendly service. Good breakfast. Room was kept clean.
The roof terrace was very busy most of the time. Difficult to enter the hot tub. Other guests selfish about letting others in. The roof top bar was never open and we were annoyed to be directed up there when we tried to order drinks downstairs. Of course it was closed so the net result was being refused drinks service at 22:30 in the evening. Not satisfactory on that occasion.

Thank you Marcos for your tips on places to visit, Carlos, Lorenzo and the team for beautiful dinners filled with laughter, and Tati for being wonderful at breakfast and allowing me to practice my Spanish 🙂
An extra special thank you to the ever wonderful Marcelo (and his maracas) who made my birthday, so special. You exude warmth, hospitality and tu corazón es tan hermoso como eres guapo!

Had a lovely stay at Barcelo beach and would definitely book again. We love the location, staff good and hotel clean and well kept.

Only one little negative … our room was on the side and balcony looked onto a wall which made the room dark. Didn’t spoil our stay though.

We had a wonderful stay at Barceló Benidorm Beach. It’s a really lovely place to stay in the Old Town, with plenty of bars and restaurants right on the doorstep, and it’s perfectly located directly on the beach.
The pool area was incredibly relaxed, with gentle music creating a great atmosphere, and on different days there was either a DJ or a guitar player which was a lovely touch. They also make a fantastic Aperol Spritz! Our sea view room was lovely, spacious, and a great size with beautiful views.
The only thing we found a little frustrating was that you needed a separate lift key card to use the lifts, rather than your room key card.
A big plus was being able to book a complimentary courtesy room after checkout to freshen up before travelling home. The reception staff were lovely throughout our stay and always happy to help. We’d definitely stay here again!

This is a fantastic hotel! Clean, good size rooms, great Buffett restaurant. It is super close to the old town and the beach is literally across the road. It has a rooftop pool (smaller than i was expecting, but i am no olympic athlete so no problem). The rooms were spacious enough, we had a side sea view and i loved sitting watching the world go by. The rooms had daily cleaning service, spacious shower and bathroom area and plenty of wardrobe space. The staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to help if you had a query. I would give ten stars if i could. Will absolutely be back

Just returned from a 4 night stay at barcelo benidorm beach -
Pros - great locations, close to old town, right on the beach.
The rooftop pool and bar have brilliant views. It was busy up there but we never struggled to get a sunbed or at least find some chairs.
Rooms were clean and well equipped - problem with the Aircon and TV was fixed after asking at reception.
Breakfast was lovely, lots of fresh good and good choice.
Cons - our room had the worse non view of a concrete wall, overbearing and not the best.
Aircon and TV not working properly - it was fixed but it's annoying and meant out first night was uncomfortable.
The rooms we had didn't feel very secure, the glass partitioning between the rooms were easily climbed over. The partitions between the terraces also was not very private.
The pool water was a bit cloudy by the end of the day which wasn't great.
Overall we had a good stay and made the best of it but the room was a bit disappointing.

Spent 5 days at this hotel. Its location is superb right on the beach. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The hotel has a great rooftop bar with 360 views across benidorm. Its near the old town 5 minutes walk where you can get good food and countless bars and shops. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Spotlessly clean, massive choice and all the hot food was hot. The staff were constantly cleaning and were very helpful if you needed anything. I only had breakfast but that was faultless.

We stayed at this hotel from 20–24 June and booked the breakfast package. Unfortunately, apart from the stunning sea view, every other aspect of our stay was deeply disappointing.
The room was completely impractical. There was no proper wardrobe to hang our clothes, only a couple of tiny drawers whose doors would not even close properly. As a result, we had to live out of our suitcases for the entire stay. There was no minibar or even a small refrigerator, no kettle until we specifically requested one, and when the toilet paper ran out, we had to ask for that as well.
The bed was one of the worst we have ever slept on. It felt unstable and slid from side to side whenever we moved. To make matters worse, there was no proper blanket. We repeatedly asked for a light duvet over the course of three days, yet it was only delivered on our final night—far too late to make any difference.
The bathroom was unbearable. A strong sewage smell constantly filled the room, making it impossible to relax. Although the view from the window was beautiful, the persistent odour completely overshadowed it.
Cleanliness was another major issue. Despite staying for four nights, our room was never cleaned. We only managed to get fresh towels by politely asking a hotel employee we happened to encounter in the corridor. The floor throughout the room was covered with sand and dust from the moment we arrived. Every step produced a crunching sound beneath our feet. I will be attaching photographs showing the condition of the floor, which clearly reflects the poor housekeeping standards.
Breakfast deserves a separate review of its own—it was, without question, the worst hotel breakfast we have ever experienced. The quality, variety, and overall presentation were far below even the most basic expectations.
The only positive aspect of this hotel was the staff, who were polite and genuinely tried to help whenever we asked. Sadly, their efforts could not compensate for the hotel’s extremely poor facilities and maintenance.
We paid rates comparable to those of a Hilton, yet the overall experience felt closer to staying in a neglected hostel—or worse. It was astonishingly poor value for money.
Please do not be deceived by the beautiful sea view. No view is worth enduring the lack of cleanliness, the terrible facilities, and the discomfort we experienced. At this price point, there are far better hotels in Benidorm that truly deserve your money.

This was our second stay at Hotel Casual Pop Art Benidorm, and it felt just as special as the first. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcome.
A heartfelt thank you to Tamara and Dani at reception for their kindness, professionalism, and always being ready to help with a smile. Special thanks as well to Jawad in the breakfast area, whose friendliness and attention made every morning a pleasure.
We were truly touched by the lovely wedding anniversary gift the hotel prepared for us. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our celebration even more memorable.
Thank you to the entire team for another wonderful stay. We look forward to returning again! ❤️😊

Second time staying at this hotel and for the money you pay its excellent !! Its not 4* but nether is the price!!!!
Tamara on reception was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel welcomed.
Arrived at the hotel early but Tamara provided a locker for our luggage witch you get a key for.
Had emailed the hotel prior to our visit requesting a high floor which we got !!. The view is spectacular and in all honesty is worth staying here for. The other reason is the beds ....the best nights sleep ever and black out curtains just an added bonus.
It's not 4* but clean and definitely good value for money.
Didn't have breakfast this time but did previously and couldn't fault it.
First time we stayed we were given a family room which had 1 double bed and 1 single..(only 2 of us) 2nd time we had a room with 2 single beds which we did find quite small ..passing the bottom of the bed to get out to the balcony was difficult, so next time I'll definitely be booking a family room.
Will definitely return to this hotel stunning view and perfect location not to mention the excellent bed !! What more could you ask for for a cheap short break.
Don't expect 4* and you won't be disappointed we will definitely be returning for our 3rd time next January

Very good location, good hotel, but we were not satisfied with own room. The view was blocked with fence and roof and was stinky in the bathroom. Oh, and no big closet in the room.

Awesome location, definitely recommend it. The walls of the room were a bit dirty, but overall good value for money.

HOTEL MONTEMAR - old town about 2 min walk to square.. shops, bars and abundance of food places inc
Cordons- steak is a treat
Tapas Alley runs from Cordons and covers loads of bars et other good places are literally outside the hotel.
All hotels offers all boards to sit all and the quality is very good.
Coffee shop & outside seating.
B&B which was a good choice.... best selection.
On the six floor is a roof terrace offering all ties of drinks from 4.30pm to 9pm with comfortable seating and outstanding views..a real plus.
Hotel is clean, friendly and offers it's own bar and entertainment but everthing really is minutes away.
Sea View room superb .. The sound of the sea at night is unbeatable to me. Cleaned and bed made daily by friendly staff.
Hotel staff are very professional, friendly and very helpful. Paid a few euros more to keep room due to late flight.

Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean, so no complaints there. But the overall atmosphere was really not for us. Me and my partner were easily the youngest guests there by decades. The place felt extremely quiet and, honestly, more like a retirement home than a hotel.
Maybe it’s the time of year, but if you’re a younger couple looking for any kind of vibe or energy, this probably isn’t the place.

What a wonderful hotel.
We just spent a week here and have no complaints at all. We were amazed at how clean everything was, even public areas including toilets.
Speedy checking in and in our room within 10 minutes. Sea view room was adequate with stunning view of the sea but not very big, nowhere to sit inside unless on the bed. There are no tea making facilities and no fridge. The shower is incredible, the water pressure is so strong its like having a massage each time you took a shower. All Immaculately clean I must say.
Rooms are serviced daily with fresh linen and towels if you require.
The roof top terrace bar is a calm area to sit and have a nice relaxing drink before heading off (5 minutes walk) to the hustle and bustle of the old town, special mention to Deni the barman, serving our drinks everytime with a brilliant smile.
We opted for half board but only really used breakfast facility. Food was ok, nothing out of this world, it's breakfast, but on par with other holidays we have had recently.
Overall definitely 3 star + in our eyes, Thank you all at The Montemar for our wonderful stay at your beautiful hotel.

A gem of a hotel in the old town but quiet! Wonderful sea views, immaculately clean, good continental breakfast. We will definitely return

Just back from a four night stay with my daughter and I must say the hotel was beautiful. Our room was so spacious with large comfy beds. The rooms were quiet even with lots of activity going on outside. It's very well situated , close to beach and other bars ect. We only had breakfast and we loved it ,there was lots to suit every taste . Roof top pool could be busy and might be difficult to get a bed but thankfully we were lucky enough to get one and what a great view from up there. The pool top bar served lovely drinks also. All in all a great stay.

Stayed here recently with two friends, fantastic modern clean hotel with friendly staff.
Rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and everything you need.
The Rooftop was an added bonus with plenty of sun beds over two levels, my only request would be to find a way to cool the pool down in hotter weather.
Plenty of choice for food at breakfast and dinner with a chef on hand to make fresh omelettes in the morning and in the evening burgers followed by other meats such as Chicken and Salmon.
The hotel is also located next to a couple of great bars and the main strip a short walk away.
I'll hopefully be back sometime!

This has to be the nicest hotel I’ve ever stopped at. The atmosphere, the interior, the staff were all lovely. The Jacuzzi was brilliant and I think I spent every night on the balcony lounge bar
Had our own coffee machine in our room And a lovely view on the 11th floor
All the drinks were really well priced as well Being 3 euros for a pint and 3.50 for a wine
Great attention to detail when the restaurant staff didn’t put salad on my friends burger as they noticed he always took it off the nights before
This Hotel just isn’t Benidorm
We will be back again with more of our friends this year

Excellent service and thoughtful touches that make all difference.
We had a wonderful few days at the hotel gold Arcos. The room exceeded our expectations very spacious, with incredibly confortable beds. Special mention goes to the bartender. Diego, who surprised us every afternoon with spectacular cocktails. Highly recommended for family couple.

Had cocktails at The Arches bar at hotel gold arcos and both the drinks and the service were amazing.
Our server was Diego and he was simply the best, super welcoming, friendly and made us feel special and welcome..... Loved it
Tips for Booking a Beachfront Hotel in Benidorm
Choosing the right hotel involves more than just looking at a map. The layout of Benidorm means that a "sea view" can mean different things depending on the building’s angle and height. To ensure you get the holiday you are paying for, consider the practicalities of the location and the specific policies of the property before you confirm your reservation.
Understand the Difference Between Levante and Poniente
Levante Beach is the bustling hub of activity, ideal for those who want to be in the center of the action with easy access to lively bars and water sports. Poniente Beach is wider and generally quieter, offering a more relaxed atmosphere and often better sunset views. Choose the beach that matches your energy level to avoid being overwhelmed or underwhelmed by your surroundings.
Verify the "Front Line" Status
Some hotels market themselves as "beachfront" or "near the beach" when they are actually located on a second or third line, requiring you to cross busy roads or walk through other complexes. Always check the satellite view on a map application to confirm that the building sits directly on the promenade with no obstructions between the pool gate and the sand.
Book a High Floor with a Sea View
Because Benidorm is characterized by dense, tall buildings, a low-floor room can sometimes feel dark or suffer from noise from the promenade. Paying a premium for a high floor not only guarantees better natural light and a breeze but also offers a panoramic vista of the bay. Ensure your booking explicitly states "sea view" rather than "lateral view" or "city view."
Check for All-Inclusive Value vs. Local Dining
While an all-inclusive package at a beachfront hotel can be convenient, Benidorm is famous for its diverse and affordable dining scene. If you choose a hotel with a board-only basis, you can explore excellent tapas bars in the Old Town and seafront restaurants. Weigh the convenience of hotel dining against the culinary experience of the local area to match your travel style.
Consider Accessibility and Walking Distances
The promenade in Benidorm is flat and excellent for strollers and wheelchairs, but the distance between the ends of the two beaches is considerable. If you have mobility issues or are traveling with small children, select a hotel located near the center of the bay or close to the specific attractions, such as the Old Town viewpoint or the main shopping streets, that you plan to visit most.
Look for Seasonal Renovations
Due to the high turnover of guests, the best hotels in Benidorm undergo frequent refurbishments to keep their facilities fresh. Before booking, check recent guest reviews and look for photos dated within the last year. A hotel that was renovated recently will offer a significantly better experience regarding bedding, bathrooms, and soundproofing than an older property that has not been updated.
A beachfront stay in Benidorm is about more than just a place to sleep; it is the foundation of your holiday experience. Whether you choose the vibrant pulse of Levante or the elegant stretch of Poniente, staying on the sand allows you to experience the Mediterranean rhythm effortlessly, from sunrise swims to late-night strolls along the promenade.
By selecting a property that aligns with your travel style and paying attention to the details of your room type, you can ensure that your time in Benidorm is as relaxing or as exciting as you desire. The city’s unique ability to blend traditional Spanish charm with modern tourism means there is a perfect stretch of sand waiting for you.
