Palma de Mallorca has evolved far beyond its reputation as a simple sun-and-sand holiday destination. Over the last decade, the Balearic capital has undergone a quiet culinary renaissance, transforming its medieval streets and sun-drenched promenades into a playground for gastronomes. Today, the city offers a dynamic dining scene where traditional Majorcan recipes sit comfortably alongside avant-garde tasting menus and globally inspired small plates.
The island’s unique geography plays a starring role in every kitchen, providing access to exceptional local produce. From the prized flaky salt of Es Trenc and the fragrant olive oil pressed in the Serra de Tramuntana to the daily catches brought into the nearby fishing harbors, the ingredients here tell a story of the Mediterranean. Dining in Palma is not just about eating; it is about experiencing the landscape, history, and culture of Mallorca on a plate.
Navigating the sheer volume of dining options can be overwhelming, particularly in the labyrinthine lanes of the Old Town. While tourist traps still exist near the main squares, the true soul of Palma’s food scene lies in the unassuming side streets, hidden courtyards, and bustling local markets. Knowing where to look is the difference between a forgettable meal and a highlight of your trip.
The culinary identity of the city is deeply rooted in Majorcan tradition, yet it is constantly being reinterpreted by a new generation of chefs. You will find rustic cellar restaurants serving slow-cooked frito mallorquín next to sleek, minimalist spaces plating up delicate seafood crudos. This contrast creates a vibrant tension that makes the city endlessly exciting for food lovers.
Whether you are seeking a romantic dinner in a historic palace, a long lazy lunch overlooking the marina, or a quick bite of pa amb oli at a bustling bar, Palma delivers. The best restaurants here understand that atmosphere is just as important as the food, often blending architectural beauty with impeccable service.
To help you cut through the noise and dine like a local, we have curated a list of the essential tables in the city. These selections span a range of budgets and styles, from historic institutions to modern hot spots, ensuring there is a perfect match for every palate and occasion.
Here is our definitive guide to the best dining experiences the capital has to offer.

An incredible place with a truly dreamy garden!
The service was impeccable, and the chef deserves multiple Michelin stars. He takes you on an unforgettable culinary journey, creating unique flavors and combinations that you simply won’t find anywhere else.
The wine selection is exceptional, guided by a truly outstanding and experienced sommelier who makes the whole experience even more special.
I highly recommend this place without hesitation! A remarkable gastronomic experience full of unforgettable flavors that will stay with you long after the last bite. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had the privilege of dining at Fera last Saturday night and it was absolutely OUTSTANDING. It's rare to leave a restaurant feeling like the experience will stay with you for a very long time, but this one will. Our entire party of nine felt the same way, with several of us describing it as one of the best dining experiences of our lives.
From the moment I booked, Jaume made everything feel special and went out of his way to accommodate us. The service on the night, led by Camila, was impeccable from start to finish — warm, attentive, and beautifully timed. Special mention to the sommelier, who did a wonderful job marrying the menu to some truly exceptional wines — every pairing felt thoughtful and elevated the dishes beautifully.
Every single dish earned a 10 out of 10. The flavours struck a perfect balance between intensity and delicacy, and the presentation was extraordinary — art you can feast all five senses on. I have no doubt I'll be back.

A fantastic experience! The restaurant is truly first-class, with an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The service is outstanding—the staff is kind, attentive, and always ready to help. The food is exceptional, with amazing flavors and beautiful presentation. Everything about this place makes you feel welcome and leaves you wanting to come back again. I highly recommend it!

We had dinner in the garden. Such a lovely location, with a relaxing and laid-back atmosphere. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail… the lighting was perfectly soft, there was a fan at every table, the service was flawless, and the food was even better! You just can't miss Fera… highly recommended stop. 🌟

There’s a single word which perfectly describes our experience: Exceptional.
Extraordinary ambiance, a hidden garden oasis in Palma. The staff was super attentive but never intrusive, and the sommelier gave outstanding recommendations. Every course was perfection. We felt completely at home from the very first minute.
We will definitely come back.

We were just passing through the city and decided to stop here, and what a great decision! It was our first time trying croquetas and patatas bravas, and fortunately, it was the most delicious thing! 🤤
Unfortunately, we’ve been to several places since, and nowhere has been as good as this one. We’re still thinking about those croquetas and patatas bravas! Definitely a must-try if you’re in the area! ❤️

First day in Palma was made memorable because of this restaurant. We wanted to try some steak and let me tell you it didn’t disappoint. Please look for yourself.
Might be a bit pricey but how often you enjoy a steak in Palma? And it was 10/10
We tried ribeye and sirloin.
I love that the menu was not too overwhelming.
Eloise★★★★★
We didn’t have a reservation so had to come back after 30 mins or so but it was definitely worth it! Such a good little spot for sharing plates and a few drinks🍷 Incredible range of tapas and we tried the majority of the dishes on the tapas menu and they were all delicious! Very friendly staff and reasonably priced too🥰
Silvia Giovanna★★★★☆
We had a delicious tapas dinner and were lucky enough to get a table outside without booking (recommend to book!). We were quite hyped by this place, but can’t say it was much better than other Spanish tapas restaurants. Patatas bravas were delicious. We ended up ordering a bit too much, and a bit too many ham as but everything was good.
Gabbey Hemsley★★★★★
Absolutely amazing meal here - tapas were so tasty, cocktails great and we managed to get a table outside on the steps which was lovely. Staff super friendly and honestly we ordered another plate of tapas after sharing a main because it was THAT GOOD! A must visit in Mallorca - would absolutely come again

Absolutely loved it.
From start to finish, every single dish was incredible. The prawn rice was the absolute highlight – that soup base? Wow. So deep, so flavourful, I could've eaten a bowl of it on its own. And the cold tomato soup was a total surprise – so refreshing and vibrant, it completely wowed me.
The whole meal felt like watching an episode of The Bear – that energy, that passion, the way everything came together with such care and intensity. You could tell every dish was made with serious love and attention.
Definitely recommend booking ahead – it's popular for a reason. The vibe, the food, the service – everything was just spot on.
One of the best meals I've had in a long time. Already thinking about when I can go back. 🫶✨

A warm welcome upon arrival. Its almost essential that you make a reservation. Great atmosphere, busy and vibrant. Excellent service. The food was fantastic and so was the wine. One of the best meals we had on this trip. Loved sitting at the bar watching the waiting staff and chefs work so smoothly.
Michael Pinho★★★★★
The most perfect experience for the best tapas. This place was a winner for us. The food was perfect, especially if you like small plates/tapas and the vibe was great. Like Bar Canete in Barcelona. Absolutely love it here and can’t wait to be back!

Exceptional food experience in Palma, definitely worth the visit. We have visited during the lunch time and were lucky to sit right away but reservation is highly recommended. The vibe is modern and the service is outstanding. We tried several tapas and all were super delicious. I must admit that anchovies were one of the best we wver had. We also tried croquetas and carabineros shrimp. If it comes to shrimp there were only two pieces for 33 euro so i woudld expect a little bit more but still so good and flavorful. We had some great mallorcan wine to go with all the tapas. El Camino definitely left us with great food memories and we will visit again when in Mallorca some day.
Hany★★★★★
I visited this place because it came highly recommended—and now I understand why. Make sure to reserve in advance, as it’s usually fully booked. I got lucky by walking in and was able to secure a table for later that day.
I was served by Laura, who was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the menu to me. I went alone, but it turned out to be a great spot to connect with others as well, which made the experience even better.
The food was amazing. Everything is prepared in an open kitchen, which felt very clean, organized, and transparent. While the portions may seem small at first, the quality is outstanding and surprisingly filling. I left feeling completely satisfied.
Definitely a place worth visiting!

A truly delicious restaurant! The octopus starter with potato foam was outstanding and one of the highlights of our meal. The seafood paella was also excellent and highly recommended. The atmosphere is beautiful and creates a wonderful dining experience. However, it is definitely worth making a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is very popular.
Marwin Itrich★★★★★
Fervor is a true culinary highlight in Palma.
On Candelaria’s recommendation, I ordered the Iberico croquettes and the Kamado-grilled skirt steak (Entraña).
The croquettes were perfectly crisp on the outside, wonderfully creamy on the inside, and full of flavor.
The skirt steak had an excellent smoky char, was juicy, tender and cooked to perfection. 🤌🏽
Sitting at the bar made the experience even better. It allowed me to fully enjoy the restaurant’s atmosphere: relaxed, stylish, and full of energy. You can genuinely feel the passion the team puts into it.
Special thanks to Juaquina behind the bar. She was attentive, warm and charming without ever being intrusive. Her welcoming personality made it incredibly easy to feel at home from the moment I arrived. Service like this is memorable and turns a great meal into a truly outstanding evening.
If you’re looking for excellent food, a vibrant bar atmosphere and genuine hospitality in Palma, Fervor should be at the top of your list.
I’ll definitely be back. 🫶🏽

Absolutely phenomenal experience! Drinks and food were super delicious and service very professional and friendly. We had the paella and a seafood platter which were incredible and a couple of entrees but the octopus...to die for...those charcoal flavours and so tender..wow!

We had such a lovely evening at Fervor in Palma. The staff were incredibly friendly, the service was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. Marco was especially wonderful , welcoming and great fun to chat with. We had such a good laugh throughout the evening which made the experience even more memorable. Thank you for such a warm and enjoyable night!

FERVOR Palma was a huge disappointment and felt like a classic tourist trap. This was our first night in Palma and unfortunately one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in Spain (and we’ve visited many times). The food was poor quality, and the service was shockingly rude.
Our server demanded a tip before we even had a chance to offer one, then negotiated how much he should receive. It was incredibly unprofessional and left a terrible impression.
The seafood was particularly bad. We ordered the glazed razor clams with hoisin sauce as an appetizer, only to discover they were also part of the grilled fish and seafood platter we had ordered — making it completely redundant. When we asked what was in the platter, the response was simply “different seafood,” with no further details. They also failed to mention that some items were fried, which we specifically don’t like. Thankfully I asked, or we would have been very disappointed.
The razor clams were fishy and had to be sent back. The grilled fish and seafood platter (for 2) was a major letdown — dry seabass and salmon full of bones, hard scallops, and overall low quality (though the tiny clams, some prawns, calamari, and peppers were okay). The sea bass and salmon were very dry.
The crystal bread with olive oil and pink tomato was tasteless and seemed like something pre-packaged from a grocery store.
The only bright spot was the Aalto 2023 Ribera del Duero red wine (€70) — full-bodied, smooth, with mild tannins and very enjoyable.
Thankfully, the rest of our week in Palma showed us that this was not typical of the island’s dining scene. There are so many excellent restaurants — don’t waste your time or appetite here. According to our hotel, management has received many similar complaints. When our hotel reached out to their contact, they encouraged us to write a review, so hopefully this helps them take action.

Absolutely fantastic meal last night. Font de Sant Joan. We had a range of tapas style dishes and pasta mains too. All were excellent quality and very tasty. They were all modern and interesting twists on classics.
Excellent advice from our server and a nice bottle of wine. Great atmosphere too.
Ryan Sierra★★★★☆
Food was amazing, particularly enjoyed the patatas bravas and the pulpo a la brasa (honestly still thinking about them).
During the dining experience, there was a large group who was loud and made the ambience of the place better when they left.
The food took a while to arrive but the hostess was very apologetic. I was hoping maybe there was some type of complementary offer for the guests without us asking for it.
But all in all the food was good and a great place. The A.C was a little cold though.
Sus★★★★★
Absolutely fantastic experience!! The food (we had almost EVERYTHING on the menu) was at least 5 stars, given from very picky guests. And to triumph that - our servants Tomeu and Diana made our evening an absolute perfect end of a five day food and drink journey 🤩👌!!
James Moore★★★★★
Wife and I came here on recommendation, we were not disappointed. Food really was brilliant, Diana our waitress was very attentive, and all things considered the price wasn't crazy for the quality of food.
Atmosphere on the first floor could have been a little better.
All in all 100% recommended.
Ann-Marie Simpson★★★★★
Diana was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, she was friendly, attentive, and made the entire experience so enjoyable. She checked on us often, made sure everything was perfect, and had such a positive attitude the whole time. You can truly tell she cares about her customers and takes pride in what she does. Great service like this is hard to find, and Diana definitely made our visit memorable. Also, excellent wine recommendation!!

I cannot say enough about La Malvasia. I had reservations for 8:30, but was running early. Luckily they had space and allowed me to sit early. The food was amazing and every single one of the staff members was so friendly and welcoming. I want to specifically thank Daniella. I have dined many places in Europe, but VERY few have had hospitality like her. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone in the area. NOTE: Reservations HIGHLY recommended. I did see them turn away people who didn’t have reservations, so book yours early.
Huyman★★★★☆
Surprising find in a quiet city square where our table is under shade of a large tree. The food is excellent, the Malvalsia wine is exquisite, and service is efficient and friendly. We should have bought the wine to ship home - their house wine from C’an Pico winery.
Holly Steiger★★★★★
We stumbled upon this place in Palma. We got a lovely seat outside under the olives tree. We had a delicious Sangria and shared four of the main courses! They were all fantastic. Rocio was fabulous and extremely helpful.

We came without reservation and Victoria did a great job. We already ordered drinks while the table was prepared and the food was very delicious. The Mini Burgers were amazing and the sourdough buns made it very special.
We’re looking forward to revisiting this restaurant again.

Great spot in Palma! I'd recommend booking as they get very busy. Slightly pricey tapas but good quality. I'd recommend the aubergine fries with honey

This is probably the best Japanese restaurant in Palma. The quality of the fish was exceptional... The oyster scallop was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The rolls were balanced and made with high-quality ingredients. What I liked most was that they let the ingredients speak for themselves… You taste the quality of the fish, not a combination of sauces, toppings or soy sauce.
Excellent service, elegant presentation and a refined atmosphere throughout the evening. Not inexpensive but the quality justifies the price. Highly recommended for anyone looking for serious sushi in Mallorca.
Heather Connearn★★★★★
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. It is some of the most exciting food I have eaten in a long time. Specific shout out to both the Prawn and Tuna Brioche dishes, the Salmon Fire Nigiri and the Ganache dessert. The whole experience was made special by our amazing waiter Ismael - he gave the best recommendations and made it a really wonderful experience. Thank you!
Selina Ledesma★★★★★
Ok, so let’s star with the 4.9 stars I think right now it’s at 751 reviews. Who ever gave them less then 5 stars across the board are Carly Complainers,
This had to be one of the best restaurant I’ve been in my life, and I have worked in high end restaurants work for master chefs (Canada) and this is by far the best meal from beginning to end even the espresso was perfect. I have the croquettes ( was an experience in your mouth the mushroom made the steak turn into to actual butter, I can’t even make this up), black pork dumplings ( the whole dish married so well together every Component was so well thought out) the slow braises beef Brioche ( like the meats favour and gravely with the crunch from the fried bits on top) I took my time with these because I didn’t want them to end) even the asparagus had flavour and added to the meal, but the main show stopper Wagyu A5 dinner - I have had A5 in Japan, now alone you will
Know this is the best price of steak u will ever have but to have it season to perfection the sauce thickness and flavour just make the whole things just a party in my mouth, and the dessert the matcha with this citrus foam n mini basil cake bits ( not to sweet just perfection in every bite. And to finish the meal off the espresso not burnt just perfect there was not one miss with this meal, ROUND APPLAUSE FOR THE CHEF!!!!!!
Mallorca is beautiful but I would come back for this meal alone, I will think about this meal for a long time to come.
Valeria Bugriy★★★★★
We first came across this restaurant while passing by, and it immediately caught our attention, so we decided to stop for lunch. The staff told us about their omakase experience, but unfortunately it was fully booked that day. We returned the next day and had our very first omakase experience.
It was absolutely delicious and truly worth it. The fish and the “mariscos” were incredibly fresh, and each dish was unique and beautifully prepared. The staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all of our questions. They also offer an excellent selection of sake, and I was really impressed by its quality and taste.
I can’t wait to visit Mallorca again, and this place will definitely be one of my first stops.
Ray Walker★★★★★
Currently in Palma for a couple of days and stumbled across this place and we're very glad we did. We chose the €55 tasting menu and enjoyed the best meal we've ever had in Mallorca (and I'm a regular visitor). Don't be put off by the price. It's excellent value for money and the food was Michelin class. It's a bargain. The service was similarly professional, friendly and diligent. If you're visiting this fabulous city book in for this treat - you won't regret it. Ray & Jennette. New Forest, UK.

We had really great dinner experience at Breogan Cocina Gallega last night and enjoyed very much the superb food, services and the ambiance. We came looking for Cecina but left with magnificent experince tasting high quality of food. Not only the steak was so juicy and delicious, the lazer clams were mouth watering, the lovely cecina wagyu it’s worth coming to Palma, the tortilla de betanzos was so creamy and lastly the cheese cake was so light and yummy. The owner and staffs were so friendly, very attentive, customer focused explaining the details of each selection of meat and so smooth in serving each every customer. Thank you for the great food and experience. We definitely recommend for everyone to come and eat at this wonderful restaurant.

Wonderful wine recommendation from our waiter and one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Fresh shellfish simply cooked (percebes & cockles). Restaurant can get a little smoky from the josper grill.great meal.

The best beef I've ever had. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
The service was outstanding, and every dish was incredibly delicious and fresh. One of the highlights is that you get to choose the exact cut of beef you want, making the experience even more special.
To finish the meal, we were served a warm, freshly baked cheesecake that was prepared just before serving, an unforgettable dessert.
Without a doubt, this was the best steak restaurant I visited during my holiday in Mallorca. If you're looking for exceptional quality, amazing service, and an unforgettable dining experience, this place is a must-visit.
Joseph Wiley★★★★★
Impeccable service from one of the owners. He is very friendly and takes time out to explain their menu and takes pride showing you the cuts of meat they have to offer. He explains where the steaks originated from and the differing cuts, even providing the opportunity to choose your steak before it is taken away to be cooked.
The wine chosen from the extensive wine menu was also incredible and complemented the meal.
Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and provided a high level of service.
All food was cooked to perfection and the cheesecake was the best we’d ever tasted. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!
Stefan Grenstad★★★★★
If you’re a true meat lover and enjoy quality steakhouses, this place is an absolute must. From the moment you walk in, you’re warmly welcomed. You can see the cuts of meat on display while the staff explains the differences between them — a great touch.
This is a Galician restaurant, so the menu is inspired by that region, even though they also serve some fantastic meat from Germany 🇩🇪. There’s a nice selection of starters and desserts, but the real star here is the meat, grilled perfectly in a coal oven.
The meat is served rare to medium rare, so if you prefer well-done steaks, this might not be your spot. The sides were excellent, and I really appreciated that our server was honest and suggested half portions for some dishes instead of overselling — a rare quality.
Their wine list by the glass is amazing — probably the best I’ve ever seen — and the wines themselves were excellent. The cheesecake is served warm (just so you know), and I actually loved it.
The owners are super friendly, clearly passionate about meat, and enjoy talking about it. This was hands down the best restaurant we visited during our one-week trip to Palma.

After reading many positive reviews, we decided to visit Bolixe during our holiday in Mallorca, and we are very glad we did.
We ordered the Dry Aged Special Cowboy Steak. The flavour of the crust was absolutely incredible, one of the best we’ve had. It was also undercooked, with a cold centre. This meant that the outside was perfect but inside was not ok.
What impressed us most was what happened next. Before we even complained, the staff noticed something wasn’t right themselves. The owner personally came to our table, apologised, and immediately offered us a different steak without any discussion.
The replacement was excellent: perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and exactly what we had hoped for. The dessert was also delicious.
In the end, they only charged us for the second steak. That level of service says a lot about how seriously they take quality and customer satisfaction.
This is the kind of restaurant that values its reputation more than making a quick profit. We happily left a tip and would definitely return on our next visit to Mallorca.
Highly recommended if you appreciate great meat and outstanding hospitality.

We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Asador Bolixe! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The starters were excellent—the Chorizo Criollo was perfectly grilled with amazing flavor, and the traditional Mallorcan Butifarrón, slow-smoked in a Japanese Kamado, was something truly special. The highlight of the meal was the dry-aged Cowboy Steak from Galician Frisona cattle. It was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with rich flavor. Every bite was outstanding. We also enjoyed a lovely local Mallorcan wine that paired beautifully with the meat. If you’re looking for top-quality steaks, delicious local specialties, and exceptional hospitality, Asador Bolixe is a must-visit. We will definitely be coming back!

The food was really delicious, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. Everything we ordered—empanadas, chorizo, and meat—was excellent.
It doesn’t feel like a typical touristy restaurant; most of the guests seemed to be locals, which made the experience even better.
Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re in Palma! Highly recommended. 🇪🇸🍽️

We arrived for celebration BD, and it was amazing, the food, the service, the staff was so friendly and kind, and the meat is incredible, for real, one of the best meals I’ve ever had!

The manager and the waiters were super kind. Food is great. Dessert also great. Tried my first Argentinian food here and didn't regret it. Definitely would recommend to people trying to find a good place to eat in Palma.

Wonderful restaurant with live music and beautiful ambiance.
I really enjoyed the fresh sourdough with smoked butter and the local olive oil was wonderful, fruity and flavorful.
The gnocchi in a fresh green bean and herb sauce amuse bouche was a great way to start. Asparagus in a green mole sauce with a sous vide egg and the paella style pasta were so tasty as well. Service was great and the live piano music and singing were so fun, not intrusive just enjoyable,

We found this place by lucky. We were in Palma looking for a place to have a great dinner and hopefully we found one of the best restaurants in Palma. The food was excelent. The atmosphere could not be better. But the service exceeded our expectations. Definetely, if you want a high quality/service in Palma, you should consider this place. Our server and the manager/maitre were extremely friendly and profissional. Absolutely, anything to complain. It's a 10 out of 10.

This restaurant is a most in Palma!! The service was attentive and informative. The decoration and the piano playing in the background it was all Bridgeton vibes. We order about 8 different dishes, one plate was better than the next. The smoked butter, olive oil and warm bread to start makes your mouth melt. The steak with the sauce was perfectly cooked, the red tuna was perfectly served, the steak tartar was perfectly paired with homemade crackers. Definitely best restaurant in Mallorca!!

Didn’t live up to the gorgeous setting nor the high rating on Google and the Fork. Service was chaotic, we had 3 different waiters rotating throughout. Got served the wrong starter. I had the Cannelloni which had a creamy sauce that had half evaporated because it was sizzling away in a hot plate (see picture) which became more of a custard than sauce. The pasta was paper thin and half cooked, tasted more like cheese than pasta. Croquettes were the nicest part of the meal. Artichoke taste bitter, cheese on top was too dry, sounded more interesting on the menu. Flavours were pretty bland overall, looks nicer than it tastes.
Andrew Glaser★★★★★
Nothing short of exceptional. The ambiance is a ten as is the decor. The staff we equally impressive. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend the artichoke to start and the pasta with tuna as well. While it may sound simple it’s an absolute 10. A must try when in Palma.
A special thank you to Lisa our server who was a true gem. This restaurant is fortunate to have someone as incredible has her on their team!

Such a lovely meal at Andava, but honestly, all kudos to David! He was absolutely phenomenal; so warm, funny and genuinely passionate about the food. He told us all about the produce coming from their local orchard and gave us the best recommendations, which were absolutely spot on.
The cannelloni was delicious, it was honestly one of the best things I’ve eaten in a while, and the liquid pa amb oli (if I’m remembering the name correctly!) was incredible. The patatas bravas were also great… but David was better! 😂
Thank you for making our day so special, David. From the three girls from Manchester
Lauren B★★★★★
Andana is incredible! Some of the best patatas bravas we had during our whole trip. You really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu! A nice, reasonably priced restaurant and in a cute old train station. Feels like a more elevated locals spot. Our server Paula was great and made sure we were taken care of!
Jelena Schipflinger★★★★★
I recently had the most wonderful dinner at Andana with my daughter, and it was truly a highlight of our time in Palma. We were very lucky and managed to get a table without a reservation, even though the place is clearly popular!
The atmosphere in the old railway station is unique, but the food is what truly steals the show. We started with the cod and ham croquettes, which were absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside and incredibly creamy inside. The Patatas Bravas were also a standout, perfectly seasoned and a must-try! For our main courses, the ribs were tender and packed with flavor, and the squid was cooked to perfection.
To finish, the orange sorbet was the perfect refreshing end to the meal. My dinner was beautifully complemented by a glass of 7103 Premsal Blanc (VT Mallorca); it’s a local white wine that was crisp, elegant, and paired perfectly with the seafood.
A special mention goes to our waiter, David. His kindness and attentive service really made the evening special and added to the lovely overall impression of the place.
If you are looking for authentic Mallorcan flavors with a modern twist and top-notch service, Andana is the place to be. We will definitely be back!

Prices are higher than average, but it's really delicious.
The male waiter who helped with the order was very attentive and professional.
Of the wines, only one waiter spoke English. The rest of the waiters are girls, it felt like they were in a probation.

Beef Croquetas were amazing, bravas made by fried baby potato thats why it was even more crispy. Beef cheeks dish and glazed sauce pork ribs were also delicious. Spinach cocas were normal as it should be. Paula was very helpful about the menu and service.

The food at this restaurant is great! As a starter I ordered the burata and my girlfriend the steak tartare. Both dishes tasted great!
Later we ordered our main dish: iberico and a steak which also were great.
So far so good.
The downside of this restaurant is the ambiance and the service. I felt like I was in a business transaction no emotion and all the questions of the employee were focused on upselling and within one hour we where already outside of the restaurant everything was quick and in a hurry. This makes me not wanting to come back to this restaurant. We had great food but not a great evening.
I can recommend this restaurant if you only want great food. If you want a nice evening and experience I cannot recommend this restaurant. Down the road are multiple nice restaurants with great food, good ambiance and good pricing.
I forgot to add: the menu was soaked in some kind of liquid it was not clean.

La Bodega is a fantastic restaurant right in the heart of Palma de Mallorca, just a short walk from Plaça Major. The atmosphere is modern, stylish, and welcoming, with an impressive wine display that gives the dining room a trendy and sophisticated feel.
The tapas were excellent and perfect for sharing. The highlights for us were the fresh oysters, the artichoke, croquetas, and the scallops, all of which were beautifully prepared and full of flavor. We also tried the lobster rice, which was delicious and cooked to perfection.
The restaurant offers a great wine selection, and the overall dining experience was outstanding. While it is on the pricier side (most tapas are around €25–30), the quality of the food, atmosphere, and service make it well worth the cost.
Overall, a place I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Palma.

Stellar food! We walked in on a Sunday night without reservations at around 8:30 pm. They did not have anything available but accommodated us before their next reservation was to come in.
Our Asian origin server was a little brusque, but gave us solid recommendations. Based on what she told us, we ordered the following:
Iberia ham 4/5 - crunchy, salty, umami goodness
Bread with tomato 5/5 - perfectly toasted bread with a raw tomato sauce on top, that has soaked into the bread. Heaven! Specially with the olives, if you like olives
Sentient Rice with seafood 5/5 - Excellent! The broth that the rice was cooked in was delicious. The shrimp were smallish, but sweet and absolutely delicious.
Suckling black pig 6/5 - Local dish and a must try. Crispy skin, and melt in your mouth soft meat. Amazing!
Baked potate 5/5 - Perfectly done. Not too salty. Letting the sweetness of the onions in the potato shine through. Great accompaniment to the pork.
They have a great wine program that extends itself to the wines by the glass. They let you taste the wines by the glass before you order. The wines by the glass we tried were:
Malvasia 5/5
Albariño 5/5
Vina Sastre Crianza Ribera del duero 6/5 - absolutely delicious
Rioja 4/5 - very good, if a little less memorable
Brendan Chiang★★★★★
The bread is amazing but they charge for it and the aioli (euro 9 total). The food was really good. Fresh seafood perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was cozy and upscale. Service missed the mark.Nothing bad to say but maybe because it’s such a popular spot, the service was attentive but not personalized. I think the price was reasonable for the quality of food. It was definitely on the slightly more expensive side.
Nicolas Guajardo Sepulveda★★★★★
La Bodeguilla has that unique charm that evoques the best of Spanish cuisine, with high-curated plates, fresh and simple ingredients, but mixed with elegance and sophistication.
Fideua with kokotxas and the rusted pig are a must try! Great selection of wines.
Good ambience and attention. Definitely recommend it.

We went to Vandal Palma to celebrate my birthday as a couple, and from the very first minute we were pleasantly surprised. The variety of dishes is impressive, and the restaurant design immediately stands out. The space feels modern and stylish, with a great music selection. Electronic and house music played in the background and gave the place really good vibes.
The presentation of the dishes is also worth mentioning. Each plate is beautifully designed and personalized with different messages, which feels creative, fresh, and innovative.
As for the food, every dish we tried was excellent. Some stood out more than others, but overall everything was delicious. The biggest highlight for us was the dessert Childhood Feelings, featuring a large pink cotton candy cloud combined with ice cream and popcorn. It was very original and unlike anything you usually find in other restaurants.
The cocktails were outstanding as well, perfectly balanced and clearly crafted with care, adding even more to the overall experience.
We give it a solid 5 out of 5. It’s a complete gastronomic experience and a place that truly elevates a special occasion.
Leonie Becker★★★★★
A really unique dining experience. The concept of pairing each cocktail perfectly with the food was outstanding.
Both the cocktails and the dishes were a 12/10. 🚀Every pairing felt thoughtfully crafted and elevated the entire experience. One of the most impressive culinary concepts I’ve ever experienced.
Kenneth Van Baelen★★★★★
This stylish and contemporary tapas bar truly delivers an exceptional dining experience. Each dish is crafted with remarkable attention to detail, offering refined flavors that are both balanced and thoughtfully composed. The menu showcases a creative approach to traditional tapas, elevated with fresh, vibrant notes that bring every plate to life.
What stands out most is the quality-to-value ratio — the dishes are not only beautifully presented but absolutely worth their price. Every bite reflects a careful selection of ingredients and a clear passion for culinary excellence.
Equally impressive is the service. The staff is highly professional, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely friendly, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere from start to finish.
Overall, this tapas bar is a must-visit for anyone seeking a modern, high-quality dining experience with a touch of sophistication. Truly the best food we had in Palma!

Without a doubt one of the best restaurants I’ve tried. We ordered 10-12 dishes and each one was full of bold, perfectly balanced flavors, and you could really feel the attention to detail in everything we ordered. The cocktails were also excellent and paired beautifully with the food.
The atmosphere and service made the experience even better. We were lucky to have the table in front of the chef who was very cutee and looks passionate, and the Argentinian waitress was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming🥰 A truly memorable experience from start to finish, and a place I would recommend to anyone visiting Mallorca 🤌🏻

This review is to counteract the 3 stars my friends left. They are Karen’s. The restaurant was one of the best - great food and unique presentation, great vibe and central location. We had lots of kids with us and they did great. My friends were disappointed that we had a timed reservation but it was time to leave anyway and the kids did indeed get the cotton candy and they did not need more sugar aside from that. Great place. Recommended. Also - cocktails were amazing

I rarely give any feedback or leave comments these days...
This was an amazing experience and to fond something like this in mallorca where the starters, main and especially the desserts matching and keeps a high quality...
The anjovis as a starter.. woww
The grilled tuna... another woooww.
And more...
Service great, and super nice people with a smile.
The only thing I would like to se is a larger selection of red wine/ glass.
But the selection of red per bottles are amazing.
Ill be back

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to - my friends and I believe this place deserves a Michelin for taste and creativity. One of the first times I’ve seen an open kitchen as well, so you can appreciate the art that goes into the food. This place is a must in Mallorca!

I had an exceptional experience at Mambo. Each dish is exquisitely designed and created with extraordinary attention to detail for all the senses to enjoy. The kindness and attention of each of the servers and the warm atmosphere also added to my experience. Everything we ate was delicious and beautiful. Favorites included: salmorejo, grilled scallop with hollandaise foam, Galician razor clams, beetroot salad, red shrimp carpaccio, anchovies on brioche, suckling pig on lettuce leaf, grilled turbot, monkfish, filet mignon, and short rib. The sustainable chocolate textures dessert is incredible and a work of art. Favorite cocktail was the pisco sour. Overall my experience at Mambo was like a thrilling tasting menu - so delicious and fun. Highly recommend.

We have eaten at The Wine Side for many years, following Tony from the port of Alcudia to his new home in Palma. Although two completely different sites, what never waivers is its outstanding quality of food, wine of course, great atmosphere & service and the warm welcome of Tony and his staff. We have introduced many friends to it over the years and it has never failed to impress and when visiting us here in Puerto Pollenca all ask for a return visit. One of our favourite places for sure.

Excellent fully vegan dining. Reservations are recommended and it was a last-minute find for us so we just showed up at opening time (7pm) and lucked out getting a table. There are a la cart and set menu options. We enjoyed the delightful, creative and delicious tasting menu (4 starters, main, dessert), each plate a work of art. Satisfying and just the right amount of food. I particularly enjoyed the plate of mini desserts. All was served efficiently and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Would definitely come again.

We had the carbonara and the seitan. Both dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the staff spoke English well. The restaurant itself is charming, with a cozy and lovely interior. We visited at around 2 pm with a group of seven, and I would definitely recommend making a reservation, especially for larger groups. Highly recommended!

What amazing food. I don't really leave reviews, but this restaurants atmosphere is great and the food flavours are surprising and perfect.
Wish I had a restaurant like this back home.
Would recommend to anyone.
We had the starter Huera Bao, which were bomb
My partner really enjoyed the beetroot ravioli
And I had a generous portion of seitan 👌
Elena Folens★★★★☆
Lovely food! Must get the beetroot ravioli. However we had a short hour booking (totally fair we booked last minute and were informed of this), the food was thrown under us so quickly and we were so rushed with the degustation menu. Not enough time for this! We ordered carbonara, when it arrived they said no not carbonara but a different pasta. Would have been nice to know before ordering. Delicious wine and food but small and quiet atmosphere. Just book in advance maybe

Tips for Dining in Palma de Mallorca
Understanding the local dining culture is essential to enjoying Palma like a true insider. The rhythm of the day here is different from many other European cities, and knowing when to eat, how to book, and what to order will significantly enhance your culinary adventure.
Embrace the late dining schedule. Locals rarely sit down for dinner before 9:00 PM, with many kitchens not opening until 8:30 PM. If you prefer to eat earlier, you will often find restaurants empty and lacking atmosphere. Opt for a late afternoon snack of tapas or a llonguet sandwich to tide you over until the standard Spanish dinner hour.
Always book ahead for the top spots. The most popular restaurants on this list, especially those in the Old Town and the Santa Catalina neighborhood, are often fully booked days or even weeks in advance during the summer season. Do not rely on walking in; a quick phone call or online reservation will save you from disappointment.
Look for the "Menú del Día" at lunch. For incredible value, follow the local workforce to restaurants offering a fixed-price lunch menu. Typically available Monday through Friday, these menus usually include three courses, bread, and a drink for a fraction of the price of the à la carte dinner menu. It is the best way to experience high-end cooking on a budget.
Explore beyond the Old Town. While the historic center is undeniably beautiful, some of the city’s most exciting food is being served in the former fisherman’s district of Santa Catalina. This area is packed with trendy wine bars, fusion eateries, and the vibrant Mercat de Santa Catalina, offering a more authentic, less touristy vibe.
Order local wine. Mallorca has two distinct wine regions, Binissalem and Pla i Llevant, producing excellent reds and whites. Skip the imported wines and ask your server for a local recommendation. A crisp Prensal Blanc or a robust Manto Negro blend pairs perfectly with the local seafood and meats, and it supports the island’s growers.
Dining in Palma is a journey through the island’s history and its modern aspirations. It is a city where a simple slice of bread rubbed with tomato and local olive oil can taste as profound as a twelve-course tasting menu, provided you know where to sit.
Whether you spend your days exploring the Gothic Quarter or lounging by the Mediterranean, let your appetite guide you. By venturing into the side streets and embracing the local customs, you will discover that Palma de Mallorca is not just a beautiful place to visit, but one of the most compelling culinary capitals in Europe.
