★★★★★ Oulala truly lives up to its name — what a delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel comfortable without being overbearing, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. The food quality was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour — you can really taste the care and freshness in the ingredients. It felt like authentic French dining done right. The ambience tied everything together perfectly — cozy, elegant, and relaxed. Whether for a date night or a special gathering, Oulala creates the perfect setting. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

This was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in Paris. The fact that it’s halal makes it even better. I had the steak and the duck and both were amazing. I’m from Texas and I’ll say it straight up this steak tasted better than anything I’ve had back home. The owner Beja was super genuine and really took care of me. It was my first time ever trying duck and he was very patient and made sure I liked it which I definitely did lol. You can tell he actually cares about the food and the people he serves. Great food great vibes and great service. I would 100 percent come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris.

A nice halal rustique restaurant with a very comforting vibe. There was a lovely fire in the middle of the seating area, fast service and very nice food. The home made chips were absolutely amazing A+++ The pricing was very fair, I recommend to all who may be passing through

This restaurant was an amazing experience from beginning to end! The owner was so kind and helped us with the menu as we dont speak French. Would definitely recommend coming here - the pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had & the carbonara was delicious!

Kehribar quickly became one of those rare places you can’t stop thinking about after you leave. I went for lunch yesterday with my wife, and the food was so outstanding that we found ourselves coming back again tonight for dinner with another couple. That alone says everything. From the moment you step inside, you’re wrapped in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The aromas of the food immediately pull you in, and the friendliness of the staff makes you feel at home right away. The vibes flow seamlessly from outside to inside—warm, inviting, and full of character at every turn. The food is truly exceptional. The Istanbul grill for two is absolutely perfect—generous, beautifully cooked, and packed with deep, rich flavors. Every bite was memorable. The 7-variant appetizer plate is a fantastic way to explore a variety of cold mezes, each one fresh, vibrant, and full of authentic taste. The service was excellent throughout our visit, attentive without ever being intrusive. What really stood out was the chef’s genuine desire to make guests feel like family—you can feel the care and pride in every dish that comes out of the kitchen. Kehribar is more than just a meal; it’s an experience. Warm hospitality, incredible food, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer and come back again. Highly, highly recommended. Best part - it’s a full halal menu!

What a great find! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when it came to translating the menu and assisting us whenever needed. We sat at the tables in front of the main preparation area, which gave the place a lively atmosphere, but there’s also another room next door with a few additional tables if you prefer a quieter spot. We ordered the Mediterranean dish and the döner plate, and the portions were amazing. The döner dish came with a small salad, fries, and a side of rice, making it incredibly filling. The Mediterranean platter also included tzatziki, flatbread, and hummus — and every single component was exceptional. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and generously served. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough!!!

If you want to have a nice and incredible dinner during your Paris trip, this is the perfect place for you!!! The food is the best you could get and it has amazing prices! The owner, Korhan, is one of the best hosts you could wish for. He is very helpful and kind. He also has good humor and is in general pretty funny. The ambience is relaxing and gives a familiar feeling. The staff is also very nice and helpful. We had an amazing experience and are thankful for the great service from both the owner Korhan and the team! PS: We await you in Stuttgart!

A fantastic spot with amazing flavor—loved the lamb and the unique Middle Eastern twist on the Caesar salad! (4.5 Stars) We stopped by Los Brothers and had an absolute treat of a meal! The grilled meats and fresh salads here really stand out from your typical fast-casual spot. The Lamb Skewers: Cooked to perfection—tender, full of rich flavor, and beautifully seasoned. If you enjoy authentic, well-spiced grilled lamb, this is a must-order. The Caesar Salad (Priya’s absolute favorite!): Usually, we find standard European or original Caesar salads a bit plain or overly heavy, but Los Brothers does an incredible Middle Eastern/spiced take on it. Packed with flavorful chicken and fresh toppings, it completely elevated the dish. It was easily the star of the table! The Bulgur Wheat: A brilliant side option instead of heavy starches—warm, comforting, and wonderfully seasoned. Minor feedback: The only real downside was the french fries, which turned out a bit too oily and soggy for our taste, so we ended up leaving most of them behind. That small point aside, everything else was a solid 4.5/5 stars. Great food, generous portions, and wonderful flavors. We will definitely be back when we want a high-protein, flavorful bite in Paris!

Avoid this place at all cost the food was absolutely appalling disgusting chips tasted like a strange flavour from the oil that I couldn't even understand. The onions tasted foul and off. The staff were so so so so rude including the guy almost sweating directly on to the food. the food speaks for itself truly truly disgusting. Avoid this at all costs go across the road. This place needs learn how to speak to customers and deliver decent food. clean your oil fry the chips smile and take the money. It smells off!! I am so angry i paid for this

We went to Los Brothers for our last dinner in Paris, and wow — what a way to end the trip. The place was absolutely buzzing. People were constantly coming and going, and it was clear this spot is popular for a reason. Even with how busy they were, the service was top notch. The staff stayed on top of everything, made sure we had what we needed, and kept things moving without ever making us feel rushed. We ordered the platter to share, and it was so good. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. It’s one of those meals where you keep saying, “You have to try this,” back and forth across the table. Every bite delivered. One of the best parts? Everything is halal, which made it an easy and comfortable choice for us. Huge thank you to the team at Los Brothers for such a great experience. Keep killing it — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Paris!

From the moment we arrived at Amazonia, we knew we were in for something special. The entire experience was simply mind-blowing. Every dish that arrived at our table was a masterpiece, beautifully presented, bursting with flavour, and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail was exceptional. Hats off to the talented chef and the owner for creating such an unforgettable dining experience. As a halal restaurant, Amazonia exceeded every expectation. The menu is outstanding, and their non-alcoholic cocktails are some of the best we’ve ever tasted, creative, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the food. What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service. Duniya looked after us throughout the evening with genuine warmth, professionalism, and care. After every course, fresh napkins and new cutlery were provided before the next dish was served, a level of attention to detail that you rarely experience, even in many fine dining establishments. It made us feel incredibly well looked after. The atmosphere is elegant, vibrant, and luxurious, making it the perfect place for a special occasion or simply to enjoy an extraordinary meal. I am still mesmerised by the entire experience and can’t stop thinking about the incredible food, outstanding hospitality, and beautiful ambience. Without a doubt, this is one of the finest halal dining experiences we’ve ever had in Paris. We will definitely be returning and recommending Amazonia to everyone we know. A well-deserved 5 stars!

The food in the place is amazing, very tasty and delicious. It is very much on the level of a high end place. Service was equally great and food came out to us quickly. We barely waited 5-10 mins. On the other hand The atmosphere, although good overall, is not on the fancy, 60€ per plate level. There were no printed menus and tables were a bit small. It is more suitable for a 20-30€ restaurant rather than a "fancy" place.

A great place to eat if you're in the 8th. Fresh products, excellent service. Just a stone's throw from the Champs Elysées. Don’t hesitate.

I had an exceptional experience at the restaurant, mainly due to Pierre's outstanding customer service. The ambience was inviting, creating the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The cocktails were fantastic; I requested a very sour cocktail, and the bartender expertly crafted a drink bursting with flavour. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. The filet mignon was tender and perfectly cooked, while the octopus salad offered a delightful medley of textures and flavours that made each bite memorable. The ceviche was refreshingly zesty, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients. Overall, the serene and intimate atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a special evening. It truly was a lovely experience that I forget.

It is a must to try this restaurant especially for Muslim travellers. Amazing service, love the menu and the food! There is definitely something for everybody. Pls support this halal establishment if you are in Paris. On our recent visit there are no long lines for sure. The staff are humble and always helpful. Easy to get to on foot or by uber.

This is a short walk from Roosevelt Station, or about 15 mins walk from L’arc de Triomphe. We had dinner here, the service was decent as was the decor. The kids menus are superb, with very generous portions and will fill any child 7 or below easily. Drinks were super with great options. Lamb shank was delicious. However, the fried chicken steak and the house steak were quite dry and chewy, they were not great. That said, sides were all perfect. Gratin dauphinois was superb. The steak could have been an off-night (unlikely as we ordered two and they were the same!). Not amazing but still worth a visit as it’s not easy to get halal steak in Paris. All in all a great place to come and try.

The ambience is great..very cozy, chique vibes. Food comes out fast..ate mostly chicken. It's very rich and scrumptious. I couldn't finish all of it..but highly recommend. It's in a very trendy part of Paris. As a tourist I enjoyed it.

I discovered this halal restaurant online while visiting Paris, and it turned out to be quite easy to locate. I would definitely recommend booking in advance, as it can get fairly busy. The food itself was enjoyable. I had the hamburger, which was decent, while my partner ordered the chicken and rice dish, which was particularly well-prepared and full of flavour. Overall, the quality of the food and the convenient location made for a good dining experience. Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard of the food. The staff’s facial expressions and body language felt unwelcoming, which made us somewhat uncomfortable during our visit. To add to this, we were surprised when a tip was requested at the end, despite the lacklustre service. In summary, while the food and location are definite positives, the service leaves room for improvement.

Went for lunch, on a quiet Sunday. Ordered kibbeh, assiette viande deal, and lamb schwarma deal. We waited for about 45 min for the food, and was sadly disappointed when it arrived. Plate that was brought out were small sambousek which were barely warm, we were told the kibbeh were finished. We were not asked if we wanted a substitute, and what sort of substitute we might have wanted. As for the main meal, the schwarma was very very small (we paid €17 for it), and some flatbread was brought out in a plastic packet which was pretty dry. The assiette looked great, and most of it was except for the meat. I had a single bite that might have had some char grill flavour but otherwise it was overwhelmingly plastic flavoured which ruined the whole meal for me. Maybe the chicken or the brochette are better but for €28 this was a tort and I could have made it better at home. Finally, with the deal we got, it said on the menu dessert, to which we were told the baklava was the only option. Well after the meal out came four of the tiniest pieces I have ever seen of peanut-based baklava. When I went to pay, the restaurant attempted to charge me for the kibbeh, when the sambousek were several euro cheaper. To top off the experience, as we left another table was eating kibbeh. I was really looking forward to eating here based on the reviews but left immensely disappointed.

I recently visited this little restaurant and was surprised! It’s cozy and has a relaxed atmosphere. The dishes are delicious, though the portions may be on the smaller size. It’s a perfect spot for a casual meal. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu!

I missed my train and was tired and hungry, so I came to this restaurant simply because it was the closest one on the map. Unexpectedly, it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The owner was very friendly, relaxed, and welcoming. I was dining alone, but the most appealing option on the menu seemed to be a set for two people. The owner kindly offered to make it into a smaller, more affordable portion for one person. During the meal, he chatted with me warmly and even offered me a portion of fries. Of course, the food itself was also delicious. I especially loved the seasoning of the chicken and the sauces served with it. It was my first time trying Lebanese food, and this experience definitely made me want to try more in the future. They also have an online menu available in several languages, which makes ordering very easy for everyone. Overall, the atmosphere and the whole dining experience were excellent. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We were looking for a brunch place but didn’t want to wait in line at Hollybelly, and due to time constraints we needed to stay in the neighborhood and this popped up in our search. The atmosphere inside is amusing, and the server was very friendly, but a bit unreliable. Our bread came only after we asked and then only one piece per person, we had to order more food as we had misunderstood the sizes of the dishes and then again were brought the food without bread. The tea came at the middle of the meal, one of the foods we re-ordered was never brought. That was unfortunate, because we really loved the food, and would go here again (and order properly the first time round.) Truly excellent quality and taste!

What can I say except fabulous, Everything is amazing the food, the colors, and the decoration brought me back to my beloved country, Morocco. Sooo delicious!!! My family and I were looking for restaurants up and down the street and stumbled across Julia and so glad we did. Literally EVERYTHING on my plate was delicious. I had the Arabic falafel dish, my family had Arabic shawarma and the lamb. The homemade lemonade was also very good. I completely agree with the 4.9 rating given to this restaurant. Julia ended up being one of my favorite discoveries during our trip to Europe. I never expected to fall in love with Syrian food, but this trip completely changed that. Honestly one of the best places I’ve been to. Their food is authentically French and halal too. Honestly, one of the best places in Paris. The service is impeccable. Our server Anees was excellent - he was extremely attentive, made excellent suggestions, and was constantly checking in. It’s also quite busy well into the night. The French onion soup is particularly amazing, but everything on the menu deserves a try. Would definitely come back here.

A very authentic and comforting French dinner tonight in Paris. The fish soup had a rich fish flavour and felt very traditional. The Escalope Normande was tender, with a creamy mushroom Normandy sauce that had a slightly sour tang, making it feel genuinely French and rustic. They also served a complimentary tuna toast, which was a lovely surprise. The portions were very generous and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I wanted to order dessert too, but I was simply too full by the end!

The duck tasted better than any duck I’ve ever had. The French onion soup, duck, potatoes, and crème brûlée rounded out our meal and all were delicious. The chicken Normandy portion looked small but was more than enough.

Great staffs and restaurant atmosphere. Ordered the duck confit, onion soup and creme brulee, everything was delicious. The serving could take some time to get to your table, but definitely worth it. The duck are so soft, the meat falling off the bones, french onion soup also very tasty that we keep munching it with the bread served. Located near to Gallerie Lafayette Haussman which you can enjoy Paris Eiffel Tower, very well located. I recommend for those who wish to enjoy Halal French cuisines.

Amazing spotting Paris for delicious halal French cuisine. They are all so hospitable and welcoming. The duck was absolutely delicious. Thank you!

Tips for Choosing a Halal Restaurant near Jardin du Luxembourg

The area around the Luxembourg Gardens is competitive, and menus change frequently. To ensure you have the best possible dining experience while adhering to your dietary requirements, it is wise to follow a few local strategies. Whether you are a visitor or a new resident, these guidelines will help you navigate the Parisian halal scene with confidence and avoid common tourist traps.

Verify Certification on Site: While many restaurants market themselves as halal, standards vary. Do not hesitate to politely ask to see a halal certification certificate. Most reputable establishments near the 5th arrondissement are proud of their sourcing and will happily show you documentation or introduce you to the management.

Look for the "Vollaile Halal" Distinction: In Paris, some restaurants serve halal chicken but standard beef or lamb. If you are ordering a mixed grill or a burger, clarify with the server whether all meats on the dish are halal, or if it is strictly poultry-based.

Check for Alcohol Policies: A restaurant can be halal in terms of meat sourcing while still serving alcohol on the premises. If you require a strictly dry environment, look for spots that advertise "100% Halal" or "No Alcohol Served" rather than just "Halal Meat."

Explore the Side Streets: The restaurants directly facing the Jardin du Luxembourg often pay high rent, which can sometimes lead to higher prices for average food. Walk five minutes south into the Rue Mouffetard area or west toward Montparnasse to find family-run gems with more authentic flavors and better value.

Time Your Visit Strategically: The Latin Quarter is densely populated with university students. Many halal kebab and shawarma shops offer excellent lunch specials (formules) between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. Dining during these hours not only saves you money but ensures the turnover is high, meaning the meat is freshly cooked rather than sitting on the spit.

The culinary landscape of the Left Bank is constantly evolving, blending traditional French techniques with the rich flavors of North Africa and the Levant. Choosing a halal meal here does not mean limiting yourself to fast food; it means opening the door to some of the most aromatic and carefully spiced dishes Paris has to offer.

After your meal, the best way to digest is to simply walk back through the gates of the Jardin du Luxembourg. Whether you are holding a warm wrap or sitting down to a multi-course feast, the proximity of these restaurants to one of Paris’s most beautiful parks makes for a perfect afternoon itinerary.
