15 Best Fast Food Spots in Paris

Paris moves at a relentless pace, but hunger often strikes when you are far from a leisurely bistro lunch. Whether you are rushing between museums in Le Marais or catching a late-night train from Gare du Nord, the city’s fast food scene has evolved far beyond the standard baguette.

Today, Paris offers a dynamic mix of high-end burger joints, authentic international street food, and modern interpretations of French classics. The French capital has fully embraced the global burger craze while simultaneously perfecting the art of the kebab and the falafel.

You no longer have to choose between speed and quality; the modern Parisian “fast good” movement prioritizes fresh ingredients, artisanal bread, and responsible sourcing. This shift means you can eat quickly without sacrificing the culinary standards the city is famous for.

For the visiting foodie, navigating the dense landscape of quick-service restaurants can be overwhelming. Tourist traps lurk around every major monument, serving overpriced and underwhelming meals. To eat well on the go, you need to know where the locals actually line up, which often means venturing slightly off the main thoroughfares into the vibrant neighborhoods.

This guide focuses on variety, value, and flavor. We have scoured the arrondissements to find spots that offer speed without compromising on the taste that defines French gastronomy. From smashed burgers with melted cheese to spicy Middle Eastern wraps and vegan-friendly options, there is a quick bite for every palate and budget in the City of Light.

Below, we break down the essential stops for anyone looking to satisfy a craving efficiently. These are the establishments that have stood the test of time and the scrutiny of Parisian taste buds, ensuring you spend less time waiting and more time exploring.

For some reason, I just had to try the McDonald's in Paris and get my fix of the 'Bacon Royal with Cheese'! After all, walking around the entire morning made me hungry, and this McDonald's was right in my path. The staff are super friendly, even though they spoke little English, but somehow, I got my order in. And space was plenty, except that the crowds were also plenty. At the end of the day, this was a great experience in Paris, and whenever I travel around the world, I make it a point to try the local McDs!

A nice restaurant in an upscale area. Wife said a bathroom attendant was charging a fee to use the toilet, which i thought was weird. The store was very crowded.

We visited the McDonald’s near the Arc de Triomphe and had a good experience. There were multiple kiosks, which made ordering easy, and the service was very quick. We especially enjoyed the McCafé treats. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it a convenient stop while exploring Paris.

Food quality: below criticism (photo attached). Humanity: zero. There was strong, cold wind blowing, so our group of 8 people + 1 dog wanted to step inside. Since there was no pictogram and no written sign stating that dogs are not allowed, we entered with my shivering dog — only into the entrance area — so we wouldn’t disturb anyone while the rest of the family was ordering. After half a minute, the security guard forced us out. I repeatedly pointed out that there was no sign prohibiting dogs. Despite this, he became louder and louder, shouting “OUT!” We then sat outside in the freezing cold and waited for the others. Later, I received something that could barely be called food. The only positive thing was that the hot chocolate was perfectly made and the barista was very nice. I honestly hope the place goes bankrupt and gets replaced by an O’tacos or another more decent food chain.

Staff is super. Everyone I interacted with or observed was working diligently, fast, and with friendly professionalism. The fries were perfect McDonald's standard. The burger buns were some if the best I've had. The meat patties were tiny and dry. The thing that drags the restaurant down is the complete lack of napkins. Meals don't come with napkins. There are no napkin dispensers. And if the answer to that is that I should have asked at the counter, then I am going to argue that counter staff should ask whether I want/need napkins along when they offer ketchup for the fries. The lack of napkins is exacerbated by the ridiculous long lines for the bathroom. They should offer a handwashing station outside of the bathrooms for those customers who don't need the toilet but prefer clean hands before and after eating.

We were visiting Paris and came across this location and were absolutely blown away by the quality of food and service here. The chicken was very juicy and fresh and the naan wrap was so unique and delicious. The owner is extremely kind and friendly. Heading back to our hotel late and needed something to eat. Luckily we found this awesome place that served us some fantastic chicken in nan bread at very reasonable prices and run by a very polite gentleman. If I hadn't been leaving the next day I would have come back again. Highly recommend!!!

The spot in Paris is a fantastic place for anyone craving crispy, flavorful chicken. The food was fresh, hot, and cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy on the inside with a delicious crunchy coating, and the fries were crispy and well-seasoned. The portions were generous and offered great value for money.

A fantastic spot with amazing flavor—loved the lamb and the unique Middle Eastern twist on the Caesar salad! (4.5 Stars) We stopped by Los Brothers and had an absolute treat of a meal! The grilled meats and fresh salads here really stand out from your typical fast-casual spot. The Lamb Skewers: Cooked to perfection—tender, full of rich flavor, and beautifully seasoned. If you enjoy authentic, well-spiced grilled lamb, this is a must-order. The Caesar Salad (Priya’s absolute favorite!): Usually, we find standard European or original Caesar salads a bit plain or overly heavy, but Los Brothers does an incredible Middle Eastern/spiced take on it. Packed with flavorful chicken and fresh toppings, it completely elevated the dish. It was easily the star of the table! The Bulgur Wheat: A brilliant side option instead of heavy starches—warm, comforting, and wonderfully seasoned. Minor feedback: The only real downside was the french fries, which turned out a bit too oily and soggy for our taste, so we ended up leaving most of them behind. That small point aside, everything else was a solid 4.5/5 stars. Great food, generous portions, and wonderful flavors. We will definitely be back when we want a high-protein, flavorful bite in Paris!

Avoid this place at all cost the food was absolutely appalling disgusting chips tasted like a strange flavour from the oil that I couldn't even understand. The onions tasted foul and off. The staff were so so so so rude including the guy almost sweating directly on to the food. the food speaks for itself truly truly disgusting. Avoid this at all costs go across the road. This place needs learn how to speak to customers and deliver decent food. clean your oil fry the chips smile and take the money. It smells off!! I am so angry i paid for this

We went to Los Brothers for our last dinner in Paris, and wow — what a way to end the trip. The place was absolutely buzzing. People were constantly coming and going, and it was clear this spot is popular for a reason. Even with how busy they were, the service was top notch. The staff stayed on top of everything, made sure we had what we needed, and kept things moving without ever making us feel rushed. We ordered the platter to share, and it was so good. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. It’s one of those meals where you keep saying, “You have to try this,” back and forth across the table. Every bite delivered. One of the best parts? Everything is halal, which made it an easy and comfortable choice for us. Huge thank you to the team at Los Brothers for such a great experience. Keep killing it — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Paris!

I visited Chez Nico’s with high expectations, but unfortunately, the experience fell short in every category. Despite being the only customer in the restaurant, the service was incredibly slow and lacked any sense of hospitality. When my crepe finally arrived, the cheese was barely melted, and the dish itself felt overly greasy and heavy. Most uncomfortably, I felt a distinct coldness as a foreigner that made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming. For authentic crepes and a pleasant environment, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

We had a delicious crepe wrap - la crepe Maison - hot ,filling and full of good nutrition.Chef was friendly and welcoming with good English. Charming French atmosphere along market street Rue Mouffetard on cool April afternoon.

My husband and I are visiting Paris and have been here for 4 days and have loved all the food. We stoped by Pita Tacos for a late lunch today and it surpasses all the food we have had so far. One of the most delicious things we have ate! Don’t know what we will miss more, the Eiffel Tower or Pita Tacos! Definitely stop by when you are in Paris!
Ciro Borrelli★★★★★
Accidentally delicious pita break in the heart of Paris! We stumbled upon this place while wandering around Paris, just looking for a quick bite — and we were craving a good pita. From the window, everything looked well-prepared and super appetizing, especially the gyros spinning behind the counter. That was enough to pull us in. Inside, as you can see from the photos, the space is surprisingly large and quite nice. The service was lightning fast. We ordered the standard pitas — I had the one with cheese — and it was served perfectly, packed with flavor, and super satisfying. Prices are very reasonable, especially for the area — actually pretty cheap for central Paris. Of course, it’s not French cuisine, but the quality is excellent, everything was clean, and it’s ideal for a quick and tasty break. Definitely recommended if you’re nearby and need a solid meal without fuss.

I ordered at 9.07pm and received my food at 9.25pm. It was already cold because the two sandwiches had been ready for 15 minutes and were waiting on the tray. The chips and salsa were missing. I asked the clerk and she gave me the chips, with a drizzle of cheddar and raw bacon. 5 minutes later she gave me the chips. The rest of the food was cold. Usually KFC doesn't disappoint me, but this time I was unfortunately disappointed on my birthday with this type of service.

Ordered food for takeaway but I found the corn in the kids menu is half missing. My combo food (menu @4€) is missing the fries. I noticed all when I unpacked my food in room. The KFC Paris Gare Du Nord is the place it happened. Please give my money back. Worst service by KFC.

I don’t understand how a restaurant with such high prices can offer such poor customer service. The Asian cleaning staff member on the upper floor was completely unprofessional and lacked basic respect for families and children. When we arrived, I politely asked him if a table overlooking the street was available. It was dirty with food leftover from previous customers. He cleaned it reluctantly and with an angry attitude. Later, to respect the restaurant's self-service policy, I left my 5-year-old daughter at the table for a moment to clear our trays into the trash bins myself. Even though he saw me properly emptying the trays while keeping an eye on my young child, he approached me aggressively, lecturing me on how to empty the plates properly and where to put the cups, telling me "not to leave anything behind!" This was deeply insulting and completely unacceptable. I followed all the rules respectfully from the moment I arrived, yet I was treated with unnecessary hostility. A global brand charging premium prices should train its staff on basic customer service, professionalism, and how to respect families with young children.

the taste of the burger is very good in some ways similar to max burger. Fries are cooked Amsterdam style and the quality is very high, we ordered the large but to be honest it was little too much. Staff (kitchen, security and all) were kind and welcoming.

Solid American-style burgers with juicy meat and generous portions. I like that you can customize everything, and the fries are plentiful (they really don’t hold back). Quality is consistent, though prices are on the higher side for fast food especially in Paris.

Friendly staff. Toilets are clean. Lot of seating. Burgers are entirely customizable. Fries are on the soft side, I prefer hard crispy. Free refill of drinks. Food tastes very good. Kids love it. Expensive though.

Absolutely delicious! Definitely worth waiting in the queue. The crêpe was fresh, crispy, generously filled and full of flavor. A fantastic Greek-style crêpe in Paris — I’d happily wait in line for it again. Highly recommended! 🇬🇷🇫🇷🥞
Vivian Luu★★★★★
Overall, good value for your money as the crepes are huge and they aren't afraid to load it up! Would definitely be two meals or a great split if you are with someone else. If you are getting a sweet crepe, I suggest to ask them to cut back on the Nutella because they slap a huge slab and it was overbearingly sweet towards the end. They also had a whole separate halal menu so this is very friendly for Muslims! Some reviews say it was cash only but we were able to pay by credit card. We came here as it was suggested by a local as we heard this was their first location and highly praised. We had already grabbed lunch earlier so we opted to get the sweet crepe. I originally wanted the dark chocolate with candied oranges, but they were out of dark chocolate so they had to substitute for Nutella. The first few bites were absolutely phenomenal, as it came out very hot; the first few bites were really crispy. Unfortunately, all the Nutella and candied oranges settled at the bottom so it got progressively harder to eat as it was way too sweet and soggy. My partner got the banana, coconut, and grand marnier (which is alcoholic). We didn't expect them to pour a bunch of grand marnier in there, as the bitter taste of the alcohol really overpowered the banana and coconut. If you are not an alcoholic fan, it's best to steer clear of it.
ZAID NASSEREDDIN★★★★★
Some of the best pancakes you'll ever try whether sweet or savory. Delicious and very generous portions. I got the chicken and turkey ham and it was amazing! Can't wait to try other flavors! They provided amazing service and a great hole in the wall..

Hello reader. We had lunch at Au P'tit Grec and it was very, very good. We had two savory crepes, Savoyard and classic, and one sweet crepe with chocolate, banana, and strawberry. The portions are generous and everything was delicious. The only thing was that the potatoes were a little bit cold in the Savoyard. Overall, it was a great experience at a very competitive price for Paris. One crepe was around 10€. Try them for yourself.
Mahmoud Frikha★★★★☆
Perfectly cooked and neatly wrapped, with generous fillings whether you go for savory cheese or a sweet chocolate option. They use fresh ingredients and they make the crepe right in front of you and served immediately, straight off the griddle while they're still hot. But be ready to wait in line because it's almost always busy, even late at night, but it's absoljtely worth it! Oh and it's cash only, so come prepared.

★★★★★ Had a good experience at the McDonald’s at 5 Rue du Renard, 75004 Paris. The location is very convenient, especially when exploring central Paris near Centre Pompidou. The service was quick and efficient, the outlet was clean and well maintained, and the food quality was consistent with expectations. It was a reliable stop for a quick meal, especially during a busy day of sightseeing. Overall, a convenient and satisfying experience, ideal for a quick and easy food break in the area.

The location is decent since it is near Hotel de Ville. I went there with my friends but it was slightly hard to find a table for 5 persons and it wasn't spotless at all. After all it still is Mc Donalds and the proximity made for for the slight lack in hygiene. I was surprised by the high price of the food since I took medium fries and 4 nuggets and I paid 8,10 E. My friends took a Happy Meal and a Maxi Best Of. My friend who took a happy meal was dissapointed as he paid extra to get a milkshake but it was warm when it arrived although my other friend was hapy with what he got as he got a 2nd big fries for free as Mc Donalds has this offer where, if you get a maxi best of you can get a second portion of fries. These slight downsides were compensated by the fact that service was very fast compared to the other Mc Donalds of the same size. The only last downside is the fact that if you want to access the male toilets you have to cross the female toilets. A good aspect of this restaurant is also the decorations of the walls (see photo which looks like metal with graffiti)

The machines didn’t have the numbers where u can get food to your table. There also was not a paper for receipt. After i payed i was left without anything to prove i have an order. Just the fact that “I remember the number it showed for 3 seconds”. The girl how was giving out orders was talking on the phone in FaceTime all the time. The drinks were spilling. There are a much smaller choices of drinks and food sets. The machines where you can “do it yourself” didn’t have any other language than French. Overall felt worse than 2 other places in Paris where i was yesterday. 🙁

### Review of McDonald's Restaurant I recently visited the McDonald's restaurant located very close to Notre-Dame de Paris, and I was very pleased with my experience. First of all, the atmosphere here is really pleasant. The establishment is decorated in the classic McDonald's style, which creates a cozy space to relax after a day of exploring the city. Secondly, the restaurant was not too crowded, allowing us to enjoy our meal in a calm environment. I was impressed with the quick service as I waited no more than 12 minutes for my order, which included the Fish sandwich — a slightly unusual choice for McDonald's, but definitely worth it! However, it's worth mentioning that the air conditioning was not working during my visit, which made the dining experience a bit warmer than I would have liked. Additionally, the staff was polite and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable. It's also nice that access to the restroom was free, and the availability of a handicapped restroom demonstrates consideration for all visitors. Overall, if you're looking for a place to grab a bite near Notre-Dame, McDonald's is a great choice. I highly recommend it!

No English on a menu what made it a bit complicated to make an order. Feel bad for a toilet because it usage required a payment and there was no hygienic items, not gonna even mention menstruation hygienic items. I was expecting something better from European branch of international company

10:30am (10h30) It is impossibly impractical and totally unexpected to encounter such rude McDonald’s staff and management on such a consistent basis ! Is it Paris? I ate way too many hamburgers and ‘chicken ‘ nuggets last night at this 119 Rue St Lazare McDonald’s. But I like McDonald’s so I found myself here again this morning dying of thirst and with an impeachment of a headache brewing like the McCafe I just bought a few moments earlier at the Gare St Lazare location ( vastly improved since I suggested they spruce up the place) But at first I was told that I could not have a glass of water with a little ice .. I defeated this folly of a statement from the cashier .. ( hey i order drinks and usually take no ice .. so my ice credit surplus must be in the thousands of cubes ) I wolfed downed this small glass of icy life savers waters … but in my ignorant folly I asked for some more water ( Oliver Twist style) … “please Madamme can I have some more water , I ate too many burgers and ‘ chicken ‘ nuggets “ To my agastment ( yes ) … I was told by the manager that I am allowed only 1 glass of water ( sans glaçons) .. my headache laughed and I was silently crying and cringing at the same instant.. as these nuggets and burgers drew the liquids from my nether regions , I decided not to argue nor to go drink from the toilettes.. ( I still have in my pockets the 3 toilets access tokens from our purchases yesterday night ) PLEASE MCDONALDS MANAGER. …causing a paying loyal customer to flee is not cool ! Please review your 1 glass of water per customer policy ! Now my Taiwanese colleagues ( yes those same one who manufacture your microchips think they are to blame because according to them , nobody in France likes people from Taiwan … so they refuse to ever visit another McDonald’s ever again ( nerds do not get out much ) Anyhow I took my gruel bowl ( empty water cup ) to the reservation only seafood restaurant next door .. and they gladly invited me in and gave me water and mints . They were surprised that McDonald’s did not have enough water ! Anyhow I will post some images of the restaurant MOLLARD that saved my life ! Come on McDonalds 119 rue st lazare 75008 . Teach your coworkers and employees common decency . Do not ration water to a Mc Nugget over eater ! Thumbs down ! BOOOOOOO!

Great location and amazing food. Staff were friendly and spoke enough English. I had the chef recommend a wrap to get and it was amazing. They offer a lot of sauces so if you want something hot or mild they got it for you. Worth visiting this location if you are looking to grab a quick lunch/dinner. Edit: It is all halal meat - fyi

Very poor preparation. I love subway and I hated it. The flattest, most tasteless subway ever

An excellent place to eat before jumping on eurostar back to UK. Had the makloub poulet grille meal and it was delicious. Chicken was well cooked and sauces were flavoursome Portion size was massive (a tray of food!) So I ended up wrapping up half the makloub to take on the train with me for a snack later on. My daughter went for the oriental rice bowl.and she was equally as pleased with the flavours of her food.

Came here to get a sandwich for the Eurostar journey back home and had the Le Plan B with raclette. Was well packaged, a good size and very tasty, would recommend. Friendly staff as well.

While waiting for my train at Gare du Nord in Paris, I wanted a quick snack. Surrounded by Popeye’s, McDonald’s, Burger King, and Five Guys, I ended up at this small sandwich shop run by a couple of really friendly Tunisian guys. They offer a student discount menu 💸, which made it very affordable. The fries were absolutely spot on — crispy, flavorful, and a generous portion. But the star was the sandwich. The chicken was coated in a super crispy, flavorful batter (I think they might use cornflakes) that gave it a great crunch without clinging too heavily to the fillet. The chicken inside was juicy, and the batter was so tasty it made the whole fried chicken baguette stand out from the typical chicken sandwich. 🍟 They also have a sauce station where you can help yourself to whatever you like. The menu is varied, the indoor seating is spacious and they do offer luggage storage — but only through a third-party app. Overall, it’s an affordable, tasty alternative to the big chains, and I’m looking forward to trying their other sandwiches next time.

Very reasonable price for a nice baguette sandwich of good size! Payed 7.90€ and 1.50€ extra for fries. Fast and convenient, much better than the McDonald’s which is around the corner.

We are big eaters, we regularly finish any meal we have in front of us. But this Plan B… they’re so generous we just couldn’t physically ingest any more food after finishing our sandwiches. The employees are super nice and welcoming, the food is to die for and I’m just so proud as a Tunisian to see a Tunisian franchise doing so well considering I’ve been going to plan b since my high school years (2015-16) and after a decade their sandwiches are still as delicious and as generous. Bravo! 🎊

I have never heard the Quick chain until I came to France. And if you haven't been there, you do not need to bother. Quick feels like the French or European version of BurgerKing (being the secondary brand) giving Whopper vibes. At least, Whoppers are char-grilled and definitely taste different than McDonalds, in a good way. Well not at Quick. Quick serves cardboard meat burgers that after a single bite, my kids could not proceed through. They look fabulous on the walls and advertisements but absolutely disastrous in terms of taste and quality of the food. Only giving it 2 stars because the interior was really clean and well air-conditioned. I hear that Burger King is actually taking over Quick. I'm not surprised.

Fast food chain, good food for good value. We were able to find a place easily when we visited (sunday night)

My burger had a fried fly as a free gift! 🪰And the best part is the staff won't even admit there's a problem, instead they claim it's "impossible". Well you be the judge of that. They gave me a new burger free of charge, and the cashier was very nice so 2/5

Just bought an XL Super Classique burger with Grand Frites for takeout. I have to say that it was not a good burger. The burger is dry, and squashed, and the fries are dry & tasteless. To add insult to injury, even though there are 3 girls making up the order, I got a standard Coke instead of a Cherry Coke like I ordered, I asked without ice, but it came with ice, and there was no ketchup or basliic ketchup that was supposed to come with the order. Very disappointing considering it’s not very busy. Wait until next week with all the Olympics visitors, this restaurant will struggle. Maybe I should try McDonalds or 5 Guys next time.

Tried their Burger and was as dry as Sand. You can't eat these burgers without drinking galons of water. Can't recommend it! But ... There is a five Guys near by 😜

a centrally located fast‑food option just steps from the Louvre Museum and close to major shopping streets. Its prime location makes it a convenient stop for tourists looking for a quick, familiar, and affordable meal in a busy part of Paris.

was served the smallest sundae I’ve ever received, and it was missing the caramel I paid for. When it was finally added, there was no apology or explanation. The portion size was unacceptable and poor value for money. I will be making an official complaint about this experience.
Sofiia Myskiv★☆☆☆☆
The bathroom were very dirty, not able to use. More of them were closed and only one worked. We politely asked somebody to clean it is possible and they answered in a rude way.
Mithun Meritson★☆☆☆☆
The food was extremely disappointing — bland, poorly made, and tasted like it had no freshness at all. Definitely not what you’d expect, even from a fast-food place. What really ruined the experience were the washrooms. They were in terrible condition — dirty, smelly, and clearly not maintained properly. For a busy location in Paris, that’s unacceptable. Won’t be returning to this branch anytime soon.

Essential Tips for Navigating Fast Food in Paris

To make the most of your culinary adventure, it helps to understand the local etiquette and timing. While fast food implies speed, Paris has its own rhythm regarding when and how these meals are consumed. Knowing a few insider secrets will help you avoid long lines and ensure you get the best possible version of your meal.

First, be aware of the distinct lunch hours. Most Parisians eat lunch strictly between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM. If you try to order a burger or a kebab at 11:30 AM or 3:00 PM, you may find that some independent spots are closed for a “pause” or that the fryers are not yet hot. Aligning your eating schedule with local customs ensures you get fresh food rather than items that have been sitting under a heat lamp.

Second, do not be afraid to customize your order, but do it politely. Unlike some fast food cultures where modifications are discouraged, Parisian chefs are generally happy to remove a sauce or add cheese, provided you ask nicely. A simple “s’il vous plaît” and “merci” go a long way in ensuring your request is granted with a smile.

Third, consider taking your meal to go and eating it in a nearby park or along the Seine. Many of the best fast food spots in Paris have limited seating, and the real magic of the city is often outside. Grabbing a wrapped sandwich and walking to the Square du Temple or the banks of the Canal Saint-Martin transforms a quick lunch into a scenic picnic.

Finally, always check for the “formule” or meal deal. Most spots offer a combination of a main item, a side of fries, and a drink for a significantly reduced price compared to ordering à la carte. This is the most economical way to eat and ensures you stay hydrated while walking the city streets.

Paris proves that fast food does not have to be a compromise. Whether you are in the mood for a perfectly seared smash burger, a fragrant bowl of pho, or a classic crêpe folded to go, the city delivers speed with soul. By knowing where to look, you can eat like a local and keep your energy high for the endless exploration that Paris demands.

The next time you feel the rumble of hunger between the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower, skip the generic chains and seek out one of these culinary gems. Your taste buds—and your schedule—will thank you.
