15 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Paris

Paris has long been celebrated as the gastronomic capital of the world, but for decades, the city’s culinary reputation rested heavily on butter, cream, and slow-braised meats. Today, however, the culinary landscape has undergone a remarkable transformation. The rise of plant-based dining and global influences has turned the French capital into a surprisingly dynamic destination for vegetarians.

Gone are the days when a vegetarian in Paris had to settle for a plate of steamed vegetables or a sad cheese sandwich. Modern Parisian chefs are treating vegetables with the same reverence once reserved for prime cuts of meat. From Michelin-starred tasting menus to cozy neighborhood bistros, the city now offers a vibrant array of meat-free options that celebrate seasonal produce, artisanal cheeses, and innovative plant proteins.

Navigating the Parisian food scene as a vegetarian can still be tricky if you don’t know where to look. While traditional brasseries may still lag behind, a new generation of restaurants has emerged with a clear focus on vegetable-forward cooking. These establishments range from fully vegan eateries to flexitarian hotspots that simply prioritize exceptional ingredients over meat.

This guide focuses on the best sit-down restaurants where vegetables take center stage, rather than fast-casual salad bars or juice shops. Whether you are a strict vegetarian, a vegan, or simply someone looking to enjoy a lighter meal, these addresses offer memorable dining experiences. They prove that French cuisine can be just as soulful and satisfying without animal protein.

We have curated this list based on food quality, consistency, atmosphere, and the overall dining experience. Each entry has been selected to offer something unique, ensuring that you can find the perfect spot whether you are looking for a romantic dinner or a casual lunch. The goal is to help you eat well and discover the creative side of Parisian plant-based cooking.

Below, you will find a curated selection of addresses that represent the very best of vegetarian dining in Paris right now. These restaurants are spread across various arrondissements, offering a mix of international flavors and contemporary French techniques.

As a long-time vegan, I was genuinely excited to try this new restaurant with vegan offerings in Paris. Unfortunately, the concept seems designed more for aesthetics and social media appeal than for people who actually understand vegan nutrition. The vegan dishes lack the foundations of real plant-based eating. There are no lentils, legumes, beans, tofu, or tempeh — no meaningful protein sources. There are no leafy greens providing essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber. For a restaurant with vegan offerings, this is a serious omission. I ordered the breaded and fried Portobello mushroom and the cauliflower. The portions were modest and nutritionally insubstantial. To feel satisfied, you would need multiple dishes. Vegan cuisine can be balanced, protein-rich, and nourishing. This menu feels curated for presentation rather than substance — more about posing than proper plant-based nourishment. One star for location and ambiance. Zero for nutritional integrity.

Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Each plate was unique que something to savor and enjoy. Location is super central to everything in Paris and you are next to the Seine River a skip and a hop from Notre Dame, Saint Chapel, and Louvre! Definitely come if you have a vegetarian or vegan in your group everyone will be happy. Also plenty of space if you have a group which is not always easy to find in Paris.

We ate at Maslow 1er in early July after choosing it based on the reviews, and we were happy with our choice. It's in a central location along a busy street near the Seine (not directly on the water). It was quite busy, so I'd recommend making a reservation. It's a cute place with lots of orange décor. Check out the bathroom. One word: ORANGE! The dishes are shareable. We ordered five plates to share between the three of us, and it was plenty. Everything was very tasty and came out quickly. The drinks were good, too. The staff was clearly busy and constantly on the move, but everything ran smoothly. It's definitely on the Instagram circuit, as they provide free Wi-Fi and encourage guests to post about their experience. We really enjoyed our meal and would happily return.
Nihan★★★★★
Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The portions are not very large, so you may need to order a few dishes, but the pricing already reflects that. In my opinion, there could be more protein focused options, and I understand why some people mentioned this in the reviews. However, everything we ate was so flavorful and unique that I truly believe the restaurant could become even better by adding a few more protein rich dishes to the menu. The service was excellent, we did not have to wait long and were able to eat quickly. Every dish we tried was distinctive and full of flavor. It was the best vegetarian restaurant we have been to and I would definitely recommend it.

Everything was clean and organized. Very polite waitress! Very nice atmosphere! Good music on the background! And an amazing Vegan/Vegetarian experience. Just perfect!

Extraordinary! One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. And by far the best French food I’ve ever had. Every single dish was phenomenal. We tried the croquettes, the caviar, the seasonal asparagus ravioli, the mushroom skewer, and their seasonal dessert. The mushroom skewer was my personal favorite. From the expertly grilled and crispy mushrooms, to the decadent potato mash, to the perfectly umami sauce, it was perfection! The seasonal chocolate brioche dessert was also heart stopping in the best possible way. Additionally, waitstaff was very friendly. Our main waiter gave us great and hilariously honest recommendations. It kind of made our night. We ordered cocktails and they were also incredible. We’d come back just for their drinks. From start to finish this was an impeccable and extraordinary experience. I cannot recommend it enough, whether or not you’re vegan. And for those confused by other reviews, everything is fully vegan.

A truly impressive restaurant. The dishes were vegan, modern, and beautifully inspired by French cuisine — creative, flavorful, and perfectly executed. The wine pairings were excellent and thoughtfully chosen. The service was exceptional: friendly, attentive, never pushy, just genuinely kind. The atmosphere was warm, stylish, and very comfortable, making the whole evening feel special. Highly recommended.
Valerie★★★★★
We had a delicious meal here last night. I loved the vibe of the decor, and the staff was warm and friendly. We didn’t know it was a plant-based menu, and we really enjoyed everything we ate. The red lacquer walls gave such a cool artsy vibe. I loved it.
Gabriela Cotta Pereira★★★★★
Amazing vegan food, all the dishes were wonderful, with completely different and magnificent flavors. My whole family (who aren’t vegetarians) loved the experience and even said it was much better than many other restaurants we’ve been to in Paris. We highly recommend it to everyone!
Neeraj M★★★★★
Oh my God, this food was delicious! Love that everything is plant-based! It was our first time trying French food and we really enjoyed the full experience. Their service was also excellent! And the atmosphere was also exquisite! Highly recommend checking them out!

Great vegan burger stop near Moulin Rouge. Nice personel and tasty smash burgers. You won't miss the meat! We went for the simple and double cheese smash burger, which we paired with fries and falafel as menus. Side dishes served with very tasty sauces that tastes like mayo and curry. Everything tasted great, and the 80s-90s music makes it better!

I was pretty sure I was not going to eat at a burger in Paris. But I am so glad I happened to be around Montmartre and ended up at Green Farmer's! The burger was juicy, filling and just the right kind of filthy. The sweet potato fries were just 🔥. I just wish they had a better location, but honestly, the food is so good, it pales in comparison.
Maciej Stolarz★★★★★
OMG!!! I haven't had a burger this good in ages. The fries are on a whole different level compared to any fast food chain. Highly recommend it!
Nuray Bozkurt★★★★★
I had a great lunch at Green Farmers while visiting Paris. I tried the smoked burger with French fries, and it was absolutely delicious — really flavorful and satisfying. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even nicer. The location is also great, very close to the Moulin Rouge, so it’s a perfect stop while exploring the area. Definitely a lovely place for a tasty vegan meal in Paris. I’d happily come back.
Tobias Vilz★★★★★
Exceptionally great burgers! You can’t taste the difference to “normal” ones and even considering those, this might have been the best burger I’ve ever had. I can also recommend the nuggets, they are delicious too. The staff is also really nice and the prices are great too. If you’re looking for a place to eat, this is the one!! I will definitely come here again 🙂

Arundeep Jassi★★★★★
Coming from Canada, we were really excited to try a vegan restaurant in Paris, and it did not disappoint. It gave us a great sense of the French dining experience. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were just right. It was a bit pricey, but that’s to be expected in Paris (especially for a vegan-focused restaurant) so we didn’t mind. We ordered one starter to share, along with three mains and three desserts, and everything was excellent. The desserts, in particular, were absolutely outstanding. The service was good, and the staff were very helpful. As it got busier, the space became quite loud since the interior isn’t very large, making it feel a bit chaotic at times. Otherwise, everything was exceptionally good.
Sandhya Prashant★★★★★
We are vegetarians and wanted to try real French food with no fake meat. This restaurant was recommended to us by a French lady on train from Nice to Paris who was also a vegetarian. So grateful to her suggestion we enjoyed the a delicious meal here. We have a special needs kid who is quite fussy about what he eats and he just loved their pancake(hummus). They have gluten free options as well and every meal felt fresh with no additives. Loved their apple juice, very refreshing. We pretty much ordered everything on their menu except a few for a hungry family of 4 and we were very happy with our choices. The service is friendly, it’s nice ambience but it was hot inside, wish they had AC/fans for all tables. They even called a taxi for us 😇

We had dinner at Le Potager de Charlotte and overall it was a mixed experience. The service was good, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Beautiful dishes with good presentation however, we felt it was quite overpriced for what we had. We paid €80 for two starters and two main courses, without wine or dessert. For main dishes i had a salad, and my partner had a risotto which was unfortunately too salty. Maybe we didn’t choose the best dishes, but overall it felt too expensive for the type of food.
Anna Burshtin★★★★★
Best vegan restaurant in Paris for sure!!!! He had a delicious meditarian salad with watermalon and stroberries, "bowled egg" made from avocado, stuffed eggplant and a delicioua rice meal. For dessert with ate the stroberry dessert. The meals were just perfect! Tasty, uniq and most importantly for us - we felt full after eating. This is a great place to celebrate special events. Thank you for a perfect evening!
Harlequin Hoatzin★★★★★
Delicious vegan food in the heart of Paris. We had the vegan brunch, which includes a coffee, smoothie, vegan savoury pancakes with deviled "egg" avocado and sweet pancakes with fresh fruit. Everything was absolutely delicious. It was 34 euro per person, which was actually great value when you consider the quality and quantity of the food. Everything was delicious and very well presented. Servers were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend, whether you are vegan or not. My partner (who is not vegan) loved the food.

Marco Polo★★★★★
An outstanding experience from start to finish. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely professional, making us feel welcome throughout the meal. We chose the tasting menu, and every course was creative, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The caviar dish was absolutely exceptional, and the baby carrots with the house-made BBQ sauce were surprisingly one of the highlights of the meal—simple ingredients elevated to perfection. A restaurant that combines creativity with impeccable execution. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Paris. Highly recommended.
Manuela Bueno★★★★★
Amazing! Food was super tasty and the service really good. We had the seaweed caviar, croquettes (not pictured), eggplant Milanese, glazed carrots and snickers dessert. And it was all delicious. Cocktails were also good! A bit on the pricy side but totally worth it.
Gary Lai★★★★☆
Inventive and beautifully prepared small plates. We got the signature menu for two with lots of little courses for sharing. The dishes could have been a bit more flavorful. The service is attentive and excellent and the interior is beautiful and easy to carry on a conversation.
Cher Horowitz★★★★★
We came here for my birthday with a group of 7, and everyone absolutely loved the food, friendly service and candlelit atmosphere. We are vegan/vegetarian , but the rest of our party was not. We essentially ordered one of everything on the menu and we were all seriously impressed with both the flavors and beautiful presentation. The soap “bar” in the restroom was also a fun and creative addition. We will gladly return!
Louise Curry★★★★★
The food was amazing. It’s such a delight as a vegetarian to not have only one bad option on a menu but instead be able to order whatever you want. The meatballs were our favourite and even came with a plate of pasta, which was not expected! Large portions, so we definitely over ordered with 3 plates per person (including starters) and unfortunately couldn’t have dessert! Drinks are also very good. Only downside is the seating out the back which was quite cramped and uncomfortable.

Mr. O★★★★★
What a fantastic first dinner in Paris. As a vegetarian, I was genuinely impressed by how extensive the menu was. Instead of just one or two token options, there was a wide selection of thoughtfully prepared vegetarian dishes, making it difficult to choose because everything sounded so good. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and made for a relaxed dining experience. I also really appreciated that they offered a non-alcoholic beer, which isn’t something you find everywhere and made me feel just as included in the meal. The only suggestion I’d make would be to expand the non-alcoholic beverage selection by adding a non-alcoholic red wine and a non-alcoholic white wine. With such an excellent vegetarian menu, I think those would be a perfect complement and would make the experience even better for guests who don’t drink alcohol. I would absolutely return the next time I’m in Paris and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious vegetarian French cuisine.
Daniela Laatz★★★★★
We were a bit apprehensive because we hadn't booked a table, but we got one. The service was extremely nice and helpful and the food was delicious. One of the best foods we ever had in a restaurant. The Seitan is perfect, the sauce cremy everything was wonderful.
Jamie Wojciechowski★★★★★
Looking for vegan food in Paris we found Le Potaher du Marais and enjoyed our lunch. I ordered the Salade Auvergnate with smoked tofu, fried potatoes, raw vegetables, vegan cheese (think it tasted like a goat cheese) and walnuts. The dressing was light. The salad was very good, and very large. Great for lunch. My partner ordered the Bourguignon de Seitan with rice. He enjoyed the flavors, there was a plate full of the Seitan. Nice lunch with great food and service.
Jens Hedqvist★★★★☆
One of the few places you can get classic french dishes that are vegan. The food is good but not fantastic, save for the onion soup with grilled vegan cheese! It's a cozy relaxed place.
April Zaevi★★★★★
Absolutely delicious!!! I got the seitan that was like of like beef tips with gravy and veggies. My friend got the apricot cream brûlée which was great. The service was incredible, and only one woman was taking care of the entire restaurant.

Delicious food within walking distance of Paris Nord station. All vegan and fast service. The masala dosa was crispy and the aubergine fritters seemed very popular among the diners. The thali is big and very filling. The payasam was incredible. Value for money.
Kal Ganesan★★★★★
Nice restaurant run by Sri Lankan Tamils! Had Parota and came with some non typical (for Indians) that were good. Paramos can be a bit crispier!
Ray Carpenter★★★★★
Great and tasty vegan food at a good price with healthy portions! We both had the dosa's and loved them but were glad we didn't order starters as they were very filling. We saw the thali's ordered by other people and they looked massive. The food wasn't spicy, unlike Green Street in London, but tasted really nice. We would happily visit again.
Jessica Brandelin★★★★★
This is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for delicious vegan options, especially if you enjoy Indian food. I ordered a chili mushrooms that was bursting with flavor. It was perfect for spice lovers, featuring a delightful blend of heat and freshness that left my taste buds tingling. I can't wait to return and try more of their offerings!

loved our lunch here! they were out of a few of the starters we wanted to order but our waitress was so helpful in pointing out her recommendations instead. We shared four starters among two people and it was the perfect amount of food. We particularly loved the beans and caramelized onions!
Coffee Man★★★★★
Great to find a vegetarian restaurant near to our Airbnb. Cozy little restaurant with lovely menu. Had a lovely dinner which was served very quickly - which we were grateful for after a long day traveling to Paris. Food was excellent. In fact we came back for some takeaway tapas style food for a night on our balcony then back for dinner the last night. I had the special, which on arrival didn't look enough but by the end I was full . My partner had the spinach lasagna which was also very good.
Praful Kapadia★★★★★
Enjoyed my falafel salad and freshly squeezed grapefruit and lemon juice. The staff are friendly. Several vegan choices.
Susan Miller★★★★☆
They do have English menue that a customer told me about. Had the hamburger vegan and potatoes. Didn't expect it to be cold but darn good.

Amazing experience! 2 person sampler was a delicious opener for our group. The lentil soup was savory. The mixed salad was amazing with so many different tastes of savory and sweet. Atmosphere was relaxing and their service was excellent! So glad we found it.

The damn best vegan restaurant I found in Paris! Forget the fancy „healthy“ „organic“ stuff and go for African cuisine, pure and beautiful and delicious! Every plate offers a variety of flavors and looks beautiful. The staff is relaxed and friendly. The atmosphere is inviting. You actually leave stuffed with one dish!

Afro Caribbean vegan food of highest quality. I travel a lot and this place is defenseless in my top 5 in the world. Very nice atmosphere, Bob Marley playing in the background. Staff very helpful and always smiling. Overall a super satisfying experience. I highly recommend!
Melecia Mullings★★★★★
I wanted to experience some Ital food as I'm vegan and it didn't disappoint. The menu is very authentic and unapologetic. It tasted amazing and various textures which i really like. I was surprised because usually that term authentic is bastardised. This definitely wasn't the case. The prices are amazing too. Definitely I highly recommend.

Let mi tell ya PEOPLE!!! THIS A DI REAL TING! This is litterly the best food I had anywhere in Paris! This food touch my soul! I can only recommend this place to even none vegan people! You can taste the love ❤️

Seriously exceeded expectations! Reviews were good but I didn't realize I'd fall in love. The flavors are amazing, unique, and totally different from everything else I ate in Paris. Ecco una versione elegante e naturale per una recensione Google Maps: For me, this is one of the best restaurants in the world. Every dish tastes exactly as it should, allowing the quality of the ingredients to shine through. This is a clear sign of exceptional ingredients and outstanding preparation. We visited both locations of the restaurant. The one closer to the historic area is slightly larger, but both offer the same menu. We were told that the menu changes with the seasons, which makes the experience even more special. The entire experience was incredible and truly memorable. In my opinion, it was even better than many Michelin-starred restaurants I have visited. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was excellent. Every member of the staff in both locations was extremely kind, attentive, and professional. I absolutely loved this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

Absolutely amazing. Best meal I’ve had yet in Paris. Right up there with the best food I’ve had ANYWHERE. Seriously. Extremely fresh and bold flavors. Pleasant atmosphere and on a quiet side street off the main boulevard. Recommend 100%.
Glenford Merrifield★★★★★
If you think vegetarian or vegan food is not tasty, think again. We had some tasty food here in Paris. It was so good, we went back the next night to try different dishes. We had the rice & chickpea pancakes, grilled Romaine lettuce, hummus & roasted leaks, grilled asparagus, as appetizers. Main course: Hazelnut potato mash, Eikorn wheat, seanal salad, & rigatoni with lemon cashew cream. Service was great! If you are in Paris and want vegan or vegetarian food, look them up; you will not be disappointed. See website for dish accompaniments. https://www.lepotagerdecharlotte.fr/en/menu-paris-9/

We had a delicious meal at Le Potager de Charlotte. Each course was incredibly tasty, from appetizers to dessert. I especially recommend the eggplant main course. The cocktails were also lovely. We had delicious vegan and gluten free options. I will come again next time I am in Paris!
Nis Meshulam★★★★★
Had to share this spot because it genuinely exceeded expectations. Le Potager de Charlotte is easily one of the best vegan restaurants in Paris right now. The food is next level, super fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. You can tell there’s real thought behind every dish. It’s not just good for vegan food, it’s just straight up great cuisine. Creative combinations, high quality ingredients, and everything feels light but satisfying. The atmosphere is stylish and calm with a modern Paris vibe, perfect for both a relaxed dinner or something a bit more special. Service is warm, attentive, and very professional without feeling stiff. If you’re searching for vegan restaurant Paris, healthy food Paris, plant based fine dining Paris, or just an amazing culinary experience in the city, this place is a must. Definitely one of those places you recommend without hesitation and can’t wait to come back to.

Delicious vegetarian food - we had the summer salad and a bowl with fried tofu balls that were absolutely divine. The summer salad had some incredible fermented pickles and the bowl had amazing cooked carrots and I got it with the eggs as a protein. It was a lovely atmosphere with perfectly cool A/C. Enjoyed the soft music and the ambiance. Would certainly come again!
Govind K★★★★★
Possibly the best plate of vegetarian food - as vegetables - quinoa, salads, soups (warm wonderfully light and fluffy carrot soup) along with sugar free lemonade, lassi(with banana). Owner speaks english(honestly not required for great food - for allergies you can convey using tool like phone) and food prep and presentation is top notch- thankfully better than nearby 1 michelin star place - sorry michelin folks you focus on drama than value for money, taste, just overall healthiness of place/impact. Salad size was most generous and by volume/weight best ingredients. Let it be hidden and be patronized by people who care about good food for their body and soul.

We were a little disappointed with our experience. The menu emphasizes that the ingredients are fresh and organic, which raised our expectations, but unfortunately the food did not impress us. It was not bad, but it was not particularly memorable or outstanding either. The service was also disappointing. Our waitress seemed distracted and somewhat uninterested. She was not rude in what she said, but her attitude gave the impression that she was not fully engaged in her work. Overall, the service lacked the attention and professionalism we would expect. Unfortunately, we left feeling unsatisfied with the overall experience.

I walked into this vegetarian restaurant fully prepared to be disappointed - and instead had my entire life changed. The menu is so extensive that I genuinely needed three visits just to stop panicking at the sheer number of options. Every single dish that arrived at my table made me question every meal I had eaten before in my entire existence. The flavors are so bold and layered that my taste buds filed a formal complaint that they had been wasting their potential for years. The staff somehow managed to be both incredibly friendly and impossibly efficient, which I'm convinced is witchcraft. I came as a skeptical meat-lover, and I left as someone who now judges steakhouses for "not being this place." Everything - and I mean absolutely everything - is just perfect, which is deeply unfair to every other restaurant on the planet. If you don't eat here, I genuinely feel sorry for your stomach.

It's a fantastic find in Paris! The food here is both tasty and genuinely healthy. I particularly appreciate that they tailor the meal to your preferences and dietary needs, making it easy to avoid any allergens. Delicious green tea and desserts. Plus, it's very reasonably priced for Paris. Highly recommend this organic restaurant!

My daughters invited me here for my birthday and vegetarian lunch out. Fabulous middle eastern dishes, we shared 3 mezzis/starters and a main dish : grandpa eggplant and so tasty. The waiter was very kind and fast. The restaurant is cute, cozy and clean. I will definitely come back again 🍴👌🙏🎉

Perfect spot for a light but filling vegetarian lunch with vegan options. The salad bowls are warm and hearty. We got the L’amour de la famille and the Mrs falafel - so good! The staff are friendly and the interior is cozy.

We arrived in Paris after a long and tiring overnight journey, and Veggie Lovers was exactly what we needed. The food completely recharged our batteries, filled our tummies and warmed our hearts! The aubergine caviar was delicious, the homestyle hummus was fantastic, and the Grandma Chickpea was absolutely bursting with flavour. We also loved the L’Amour de la Famille — a brilliant selection with a little bit of everything and genuinely something for everyone. What made the whole experience even better was the expert, warm and attentive service from our waitress, Keltoum, who looked after us beautifully. Delicious, generous, comforting food and a wonderfully welcoming start to our time in Paris.

Me and my friends sat outside, it was a really cute place to sit and relax. The waiter was so lovely and spoke english which helped us a huge amount. She helped my friend with a sesame allergy navigate the menu and then the food arrived quickly and was DELICIOUS. would highly recommend, especially for vegans as every dish on the menu can be adapted to be vegan.

Really delicious! We had the grandpa eggplant and the amour plate with a side of falafel and a smoothie. Everything was so good. My only complaint is that i wanted more. Since I don't eat gluten I ordered the eggplant without the bread on the bottom that normally comes with it. But that's why i added the falafels to make up for that. But the food was seriously delicious and i wouldn't hesitate to come back. And also i was shocked by how good the smoothie was. Avocado in a smoothie didn't really sound that good to be but it was actually amazing. Also love that they can make basically any of their dishes vegan!

The food here wasn't as great as I'd expected it to be. The pasta tasted kind of one dimensional, and the savoury tones could definitely be stronger. I do think the pasta itself was a bit too undercooked, even though I know it's supposed to be al dente. The cheesecake was also too sweet for me. Also, the place was really hot, so sitting outside is probably better than inside. Overall, besides the reasonable pricing, I personally don't think it's worth the hype, so I won't be returning.

As I walked by this restaurant, its menu and aesthetic intrigued me. So I gave it a try and was very pleased with both the food and the service. Several unusual and tasty variations on traditional themes, with plenty to keep this vegetarian foodie happy! Would definitely recommend. And Fahd’s service with a smile made it all even better 😊

A great find! The setting is really trendy with stylish decor and a great soundtrack, which makes for a very pleasant experience. As for the food, the portions might seem a bit small at first, but it’s perfectly balanced if you order a starter. Everything is delicious and you leave feeling satisfied! A special thank you to Mimouna for her impeccable service and expert recommendations. I would recommend this place without hesitation!

A cozy place with a nice decoration and a good selection of organic food and drinks. We stopped by for some juices and teas, and the flavors were decent overall. One thing to keep in mind is that some of the juices are premade rather than prepared fresh to order, which is worth knowing if you're expecting freshly made juices.

I’ve been coming here on and off for several years, mostly because the location is convenient. Unfortunately my recent experiences have been disappointing enough that I feel it’s worth leaving a detailed and honest review. Yesterday I ordered an avocado BLT and received a sandwich that had some salad in it but no avocado at all. When avocado is literally in the name of the sandwich, that’s a pretty basic thing to get right. The bread itself was also quite dry, which didn’t help the overall experience. The food here is generally okay, and some of the sauces are good, but overall it often feels more processed than fresh. Considering the prices, it ends up feeling quite overpriced for what you actually get. Today the experience was worse. I ordered a coffee and it was made incorrectly. I pointed it out politely, but the replacement was also wrong. What stood out even more than the mistake was the reaction from the staff member. Instead of simply correcting the order, she responded with clear irritation, grabbed the cup back with attitude, and started arguing about it. When I said the service was poor, she simply told me to leave. That kind of reaction to a customer pointing out a simple mistake is surprising and honestly unacceptable. The coffee itself unfortunately doesn’t make up for the experience either. It’s not particularly good, and it tends to be inconsistent. The atmosphere is average. The music is often played quite loudly, which sometimes gives the impression that customers aren’t really meant to stay long. The place also doesn’t always feel as clean or well maintained as it could be. I understand that cafés get busy and mistakes happen. That’s normal. What really matters is how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately the service I experienced was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. One might joke that it felt like a stereotypical café attitude, but even that shouldn’t be an excuse. After years of stopping by mainly for convenience, I unfortunately won’t be returning. Between the mediocre coffee, dry bread, overpriced food, and the rude service, there are simply better options elsewhere.

I'd like to return to be able to give a better review but for now we just stopped for a quick light bite. The bowls sound really good but we were not hungry enough so opted for the avocado toastie. It was quite bland, the spicy mayo was almost undetectable which was the main reason I chose it. Not worth the price. Clearly plant based for health, as the cleaning products in the toilet were not environmentally friendly or cruelty free/ vegan. Customers wearing fur coats is a weird one but I suppose we are in Paris, fur isn't as popular in the UK and definitely wouldn't be welcome in a vegan establishment. Staff were efficient and nice enough and they do have a great range of drinks, smoothies and fridge items, so we would return next time in Paris and try a proper meal.

Do not go here. The people working here are offensive and unfriendly, especially the owner. Their “banh mi” is disgusting (believe me, I’m Vietnamese). When I kindly explained him that he cannot call this “báhn mi”, he demanded me to sit in a corner to wait for my smoothie - that never came. When I (again) asked for my smoothie, I got one that was also tasteless. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Everything was delicious. Service was quick, food was flavorful, pipping hot and varied. The salon itself is also beautifully painted. You can tell things here are made with effort and a love of food. I’ve been twice and look forward to returning.

We ordered food to be delivered to the hotel while on our way back from Disneyland. We were starving. After placing the order we noticed the price change in delivery and delivery time increased. In a few minutes we tried to reach out trying to cancel the order but of course the restaurant tells us it’s too late to cancel. The food was disappointing in terms of portion and basically what you see is not what you get. Overpriced, mushy rice. Zero veggies, what’s vegan food without vegetables. Didn’t get enough cutleries. 2 chopsticks and a spoon for a Pho and 3 rice set even when we indicated we needed cutlery. Pho had a thick layer of oil floating. We felt completely scammed. Just be warned. Comparisons for reference of advertisement vs reality.

Tips for Enjoying Vegetarian Dining in Paris

While the restaurant scene has improved dramatically, dining out in Paris still requires a bit of local knowledge to ensure a smooth experience. Understanding the local customs and terminology will help you avoid the disappointment of arriving at a closed kitchen or finding limited options. These practical tips will help you navigate the city like a seasoned local foodie.

1. Respect the French Meal Times

Parisian kitchens often operate on strict schedules. Lunch is typically served from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner service usually doesn’t begin until 7:30 PM or 8:00 PM. If you get hungry at 6:00 PM, you will likely find most of the better restaurants closed. Plan your day around these windows to avoid ending up at a tourist trap with limited vegetarian choices.

2. Always Book Ahead

Paris is a densely populated city, and the best vegetarian spots are often small, intimate spaces with limited seating. Walking in without a reservation, especially on weekends, frequently leads to disappointment. A quick phone call or an online booking a day or two in advance will secure your table and allow the kitchen to prepare for any specific dietary needs.

3. Learn the Lingo

While many younger Parisians speak English, knowing a few French phrases goes a long way. The phrase “Je suis végétarien(ne)” means “I am vegetarian.” It is also helpful to clarify if you eat dairy and eggs. If you are vegan, specify “Je suis végan(e)” or “Je ne mange pas de produits laitiers ni d’œufs” (I don’t eat dairy or eggs). This clarity helps the staff guide you to the right dishes.

4. Beware of Hidden Ingredients

Traditional French cooking often uses animal stock, lardons (bacon bits), or gelatin even in dishes that appear vegetable-based. A “soupe à l’oignon” is almost always made with beef stock, and many salads come topped with lardons by default. When ordering at a non-specialist restaurant, politely ask the server to confirm the dish is “sans viande, sans poisson, et sans gélatine” (without meat, fish, or gelatin).

5. Explore the Ethnic Food Scene

Some of the best vegetarian meals in Paris are not French at all. The city boasts incredible Lebanese, Indian, Ethiopian, and Italian restaurants where meat-free dining is deeply embedded in the culinary tradition. Falafel in the Marais or a thali in the 10th arrondissement often provides a more satisfying and affordable meal than forcing a traditional brasserie to adapt.

Paris has truly evolved into a city where vegetarians can eat with joy rather than mere accommodation. The creativity found in the current plant-based scene reflects a broader shift in French gastronomy—one that values sustainability, health, and the sheer beauty of produce. By choosing the right addresses and planning ahead, you can experience the magic of Parisian dining without compromising your principles.

Whether you are strolling through the romantic streets of Montmartre or exploring the trendy canals of the 10th arrondissement, a remarkable meat-free meal is never far away. The restaurants highlighted here prove that vegetarian cuisine in Paris is not a trend, but a permanent and delicious fixture of the city’s future.
