We visited this two floor shopping center just off Rue Sainte-Cathreine during our recent visit to Bordeaux. There are 37 retail and boutique shops and eateries along with a nice little courtyard. Its an interesting contribution to an otherwise good pedestrian shopping scene along the main street. Worth a stop by if there is a specific store here you are seeking out. See the website for shop list.

About 20 shops and a couple of food outlets such as McDonalds and Starbucks. Lego, Burksha, SuperDry and lots of other large stores with good ranges of clothes. Nice entrances with the coloured umbrellas hanging above and the mist spray.
Shardae Rakoto★★★★★
There are a few fantastic stores here as well as MacDonalds if you need a toilet stop. The square has a great atmosphere with two levels to visit. The toy store is highly recommended.
Cetin Eskisehir★★★★★
It is a decent clean place in the center of the city. There are Starbucks and McDonald's as well as luxury stores. It is a place to stop by and take a breather while traveling around the city, and to relax at the tables under the open sky.

Lego store! Woohoo! The staff were wonderful. They helped my nephew make his selection.

This shopping mall has 3 levels. There are quite a few businesses to go about.
It's accessible via bus and tramway. There is also an underground parking lot. You also have ramps for people on wheelchair.
I would recommend it.
Kari Q.★★★★★
Multi-level mall with lots of shops, services, and a grocery store. Free toilets and Wi-Fi. There are cafés and restaurants. Mostly mid-priced shopping. Highly recommend 🇨🇦
Sidra Mohsin★★★★★
I had breakfast from Brioche Dorée and enjoyed the Morning vibe. Good place for shopping under one roof. Auchan, Sephora, H&M to Normal. 2 hours parking is free. But if the time is more than that, you have to pay a heavy amount.
Rita Dominique★★★★★
It’s good, parking two hours free if you buy something. But the WC is paid not free. Not too many shops except Mango and H&M for clothes and some others for cosmetics.

Maybe not the most known, but they were kind enough to serve us some food off time. We left the winery when all restaurants were closed, and we were very hungry and several other restaurants rejected us while this one found a way and gave us some cheese, foia gras yes and a nice charcuterie board. and a nice charcuterie tableThey even warmed up some fresh bread for us. For that they get 10 points.!!!!

I really enjoyed my shopping experience in galeries Lafayette today. I wanted some advice on skin care and the sales assistant spent time with me, exploring my options. She was extremely helpful.

Five stars for Kimia in the women's section was very attentive and helpful with my sizing and colors to match my complexion. She even steamed the pants I bought.
Minus 1 star for 1 item having smudges on it (unknown origin).
I was visiting and didn't pack the correct clothes for the weather so only visited the women's clothing section - no review for the rest of the store.
Basia Pawlik★★★★★
Very good experience on the Lafayette clothing section with Kimia, she was extremely nice, caring, friendly and gave me some great advise on what to choose.

Need help contacting Galerie Lafayette support from the USA. Made a second large purchase at this store and 1 item is falling apart, the second is flawed. Reached out to manufacturer and they said they cannot help, refunds/replacements must go through your store.

Really enjoyed encountering this old shopping arcade and National Monument (1975) located along Rue Sainte-Catherine during a recent trip to Bordeaux. Designed by architect Gabriel-Joseph Durand and opened in 1834, Galerie Bordelaise is lined with marble columns and elegant design which these days is showing their age and link to the past.
This was a high-end and fashionable place to shop in the 19th-century and survives with several shops still open to this day. Worth a quick look-see and browse if you are interested in old historic buildings.
Gerry★★★★★
Just wow…a few nice cafes to have a coffee and just look up
A. Santos★★★★☆
Not too big but inviting. Nice little shops and a very beautiful hall in the middle (come inside even if it's just for a picture)
Antoine★★★★★
It's an intriguing arcade, a bit rundown but still oozes with charm. The main entrance is from rue des Piliers de Tutelle with a view over towards Rue Sainte-Catherine. There are still few businesses trading from here, mainly shoes and a café and some pop-up shop when I visited. But what really intrigued me were the mid 1800s decor. The two entrances have iron gates and marble columns with exquisite decorative mortif throughout. You can still see double marble columns with Corinthian capital, beautiful ornaments on the architrave, Horn of Plenty and Pompei Pompeian decorations. Some still intact mirrors on the pilaster and the glass canopy bringing in natural light. This may be an old and almost neglected shopping arcade but it's full of history and is listed as a national monument. It's one of the rarest covered walkways designed in the diagonal of this block of buildings. I really enjoyed exploring this historic arcade. Highly recommended, worth exploring.

Great place for street photography. A lot of mirrors, staircases and shops. A lot of people are so absorbed by the shops and their phone that it's possible to stumble across great moments! You can go inside but outside it's also great, specifically for reflections. It's best to come by sunny day to have hard shadow, or a rainy day to add the umbrella to your shots and also the wet concrete which makes and excellent background! 📷

This is a circular shaped modern shopping centre in the heart of the Golden Triangle of Bordeaux. You will find boutique shops, eateries and a useful Carrefour supermarket if you need to stop by to stock up on food items to prepare meals in apartment rentals you might be staying nearby.
We found the supermarket here useful for some odd bits that we were unable to find in local food markets and shops. It is a conveniently located venue and contribution to the shopping/dining scene around Bordeaux.

It's hard to find, as it's in a basement of a building close to Bordeaux's main cathedral. I was looking for MonoPrix to stock up on groceries and google maps lead me to this location. I kept looking around for it, and finally realized its well hidden location. The MonoPrix supermarket is large and with an excellent selection. Now that I know where it's located, it's easy enough to find, only a few meters from the large square where the cathedral and city hall are located in the center of Bordeaux.

The mall is good and all but the CARFOUR hell no, the staff is very rude and my mother has a handicap card which means she's priority...so she shows the racist cashier and he tells her that she can't pass in front of everyone so my mother goes and talks to the manager which is the worse part the racist manager starts to laugh after understanding the situation , so then another racist manager who over heard the situation comes screaming at my parents and starts talking nonsense ,so then we go out because it was no use and we didn't buy anything because of them and the staff don't respect you when you don't speak french

Essential Tips for Shopping in Bordeaux
Navigating the commercial streets of Bordeaux requires a bit of local insight to ensure you get the best value and experience. While the city is welcoming, understanding the rhythm of French retail and the geographical nuances of the shopping districts will elevate your trip. Keep these practical strategies in mind to shop like a local rather than a tourist.
Plan around French opening hours. Most boutiques and department stores in Bordeaux open around 10:00 AM and close at 7:00 PM, but many independent shops close for a long lunch break between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM. Sunday is generally a day of rest for the city center, except for the Marché des Chartrons and select shops in tourist zones. Always check specific hours in advance to avoid disappointment.
Wear comfortable shoes and utilize the tram. Bordeaux is famously flat and walkable, but the distances between districts like Saint-Michel and Chartrons can add up. The city’s tram system (Lines A, B, and C) is efficient and clean, connecting the main shopping arteries. Purchase a multi-journey ticket to easily hop between the luxury Triangle d’Or and the vintage shops of Saint-Michel.
Understand the tax-free shopping process. If you are a non-EU resident, you can benefit from a VAT refund (détaxe) on purchases over €100 made in the same store on the same day. Look for shops displaying the "Tax Free" sticker and bring your passport with you when shopping. The store will provide the necessary paperwork, which you can validate at kiosks at the airport or train station before departing the EU.
Bring your own shopping bag. In line with French environmental laws, plastic bags are largely a thing of the past. While paper bags are common, having a sturdy canvas tote or backpack is highly practical, especially if you plan to buy wine bottles or heavy food items from the markets. It also makes moving between multiple boutiques much easier.
Visit markets early for the best selection. If your goal is to purchase fresh produce, cheese, or unique food gifts, arrive at the markets like Marché des Capucins before 10:00 AM. This is when the atmosphere is most authentic and the best products are available. Vendors are also more willing to chat and offer samples during the quieter morning hours before the lunch rush begins.
Bordeaux’s shopping scene is a reflection of the city itself: sophisticated, authentic, and deeply connected to its terroir. Whether you leave with a vintage designer handbag, a case of Saint-Émilion, or a simple canelé pastry box, the memories of exploring these vibrant streets will linger long after you return home.
Take the time to wander off the main boulevards and explore the hidden courtyards where artisans ply their trades. It is in these quiet corners that you will find the true heartbeat of Bordeaux, offering treasures that no online marketplace can replicate.
