15 Best Rooftop Bars in Cannes

Cannes is a city of cinematic glamour, luxury yachts, and sun-drenched promenades, but its true magic often begins when the sun starts to dip below the Esterel mountains. As the heat of the French Riviera softens into a warm, golden evening, the city’s social scene ascends—literally—to the skies. There is no better way to toast a day on the Côte d’Azur than from a breezy, elevated terrace with a chilled glass of rosé in hand.

Rooftop bars in Cannes are not merely places to drink; they are immersive experiences that blend panoramic sea views with sophisticated mixology and a palpable sense of occasion. From the historic charm of Le Suquet to the modern glitz of La Croisette, the city offers a diverse range of elevated venues that cater to every kind of traveler. Whether you are seeking a quiet sunset aperitif or a vibrant late-night party under the stars, the skyline delivers.

The unique geography of Cannes provides a stunning backdrop for these high-altitude havens. To the south, the Mediterranean Sea sparkles with the lights of superyachts anchored in the Bay of Cannes. To the north, the rolling hills provide a lush, green contrast to the urban glamour. Finding the perfect spot to absorb this 360-degree beauty is the key to unlocking the authentic Riviera lifestyle.

However, navigating the rooftop scene can be tricky if you do not know where to look. Some of the best terraces are hidden inside five-star hotels, while others are perched atop trendy beach clubs or historic buildings. The dress codes can vary dramatically, as can the price of a cocktail, so it pays to do your research before heading out for the evening.

That is why we have curated a guide to the most spectacular elevated terraces in the city. We have considered not just the view, but the quality of the drinks, the atmosphere, the service, and the overall value to ensure you find the perfect match for your mood. Whether you are a first-time visitor or a seasoned regular of the Riviera, these spots offer the pinnacle of Cannes nightlife.

Get ready to elevate your evening. Here is our definitive selection of the top destinations for drinking with a view in Cannes.

As always , everything related to Five Seas hotel is amazing and Le Roof is no exception. Nice drinks, amazing view, cozy atmosphere and excellent finger food. Top that with the fact that people working there have 20+ charisma score.

I always seek out nice rooftop bars when I travel, and I stumbled upon this cozy spot without an RSVP. It was definitely worth the 10-15 minute wait (which I totally understood since I hadn't made a reservation). The atmosphere was super relaxed, and the cocktails were delicious. I didn’t get photos of the cocktails on my first night, but here's a cute bird photo I took during the day while having coffee—it offers a lovely view of Cannes! The service was so great that I found myself returning almost every day during my 10 days in Cannes! 😂
Mikael Olsson★★★★★
Perfect place for a crafted cocktail. Service impeccable! Nice ambience with the pool and surrounding roof tops.
Mandy Arnold★★★☆☆
Just know the pool seating area is limited to guests. We went up to enjoy the sun and nice weather but were sat in an “outdoor area” that was an inside tented area on the roof next to the outdoor area. Service was good, but be aware if you want to sit outside.

The Perfect Spot to Unwind After a Business Fair After a long day at a business fair, this is the perfect place to kick back and relax. No matter your mood, there’s a space that fits—whether you want to people-watch, find a quiet corner to unwind, enjoy a smoke on the terrace, or even lounge by the swimming pool. The drinks are well-made, and while I didn’t try the food, everything looked tempting. The prices were a bit above my usual budget, but the experience made it worth it. If you’re looking for a stylish and versatile spot to end the evening, I definitely recommend checking it out!

We had an amazing evening at Marea. From the moment we arrived, the reception was very warm and friendly, and we were immediately guided to our table. The food was absolutely excellent — especially the beetroot hummus, the fish, and the truffle taglierini. Every dish was full of flavour and just delicious. The wine and cocktails were outstanding as well. The service was attentive and genuinely kind throughout the entire evening. The view and overall atmosphere were easily 10/10. We’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you 🥰

Marea was a beautiful experience. The views are gorgeous, the ambiance is really nice, and the food was very tasty. Service was also good and attentive without feeling rushed. What we really appreciated is that they don’t push you to leave once you’re done eating, so you can relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and take in the view. It does get very full though, so I would definitely recommend booking in advance. A great spot for a nice meal.
Christina★★★★★
Had a wonderful dinner at Marea. We had a great table with a view overlooking the pier and ocean. We enjoyed watching the boats come in and out and “parking”. Very friendly and attentive staff. We had the fish dishes and it was well seasoned and tasty. Wine selection also very good. The restaurant is in the covered part and the bar is outside. Reservations recommended. Marea is a great restaurant offering beautiful views and great service and food to match.
Antonia★★★★☆
Very beautiful restaurant with a lovely view over Cannes — the location is truly unbeatable. However, I felt the value for money was not quite right. My truffle pasta arrived lukewarm and was not seasoned enough. The entrecôte, however, was excellent, and they kindly cooked vegetables without salt for our child for €7, which we appreciated. What surprised us was that a glass of wine cost €28, while the bottle price was €90. This was not communicated transparently and simply did not feel quite right. In total, we paid around €150 without starters or dessert. Although the location is wonderful, we probably would not return for dinner — perhaps only for cocktails.
Scott Murphy★★★★★
Staying at the Canopy as a Diamond member, we did cocktails two of the nights at Marea. Great service, views, ambiance, vibe and scene with DJ’s spinning deep, lounge and jazzy house. Must try!

The staff sets the tone to this place for sure👌🏼✨. Our waiter or if it was the head waiter (feelt like that), doesn’t really matter mastered the evening with such an exceptional balance of humor, professionalism, and just first class service✨. The setting for dining is like sitting in someone’s living room. Our dog was very relaxed on the carpet and thought this was her new home I think 😅. Food wise they had a brand new menu we were told and we got two mains and two desserts. The mains were phenomenal✨👌🏼. I had the fish and my wife had the risotto, best she ever had she said (and she have had a few I can tell😅). The dessert however didn’t fell in to our taste. They were very well made and nicely presented but did not suit us in taste. I had the sufflé and my wife had the chocolate. We ended our evening finish up our wine in the outside area with good wibes from the DJ and a were satisfied mood.

A very disappointing experience at Le Roof, Five Seas Hotel. The advertised “panoramic view” did not match what we experienced. From where we were sitting, there was no impressive outlook—just surrounding buildings, some taller than the rooftop itself. The terrace felt small, and the low, sun-lounger-style seating was uncomfortable and damp. The pool, cacti and basic outdoor lighting did little to create a special atmosphere. We ordered two blue mocktails described as containing pineapple, lemon and coconut. Unfortunately, they tasted like heavily sweetened, diluted syrup. We could barely distinguish any of the advertised flavours. I understand that kitchens have closing times, but it was disappointing to have absolutely nothing to eat, not even a small snack, while the bar was still serving drinks (there was just a very small bowl of mixed nuts. Unfortunately, they did not taste fresh and had gone slightly soft, losing much of their crunch). We left hungry and had to look elsewhere. For a rooftop in a five-star hotel, we expected a much better experience. Neither the view, the comfort nor the drinks lived up to expectations. I would not return. The two stars are solely for the staff’s warm, friendly welcome and cheerful smiles.

Amazing experience !!! The ambiance is beautiful and perfectly set for a relaxed yet elegant rooftop dinner. The service was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations that really enhanced the evening! Outstanding food, and I was genuinely impressed with every dish. Overall, everything from the atmosphere to the service and food was a complete success. Highly recommended ! Warm greeting to the best staff there❤️🤗

What a delightful find in the core of Cannes. We had a pre drinks on the roof top lounge area. Definitely a must if you have the time. We then headed into dinner into their quaint dining room. Our service was very efficient, and pleasant by the entire service team. Our food was spectacular, both in presentation and taste. The food pics give a glimpse of the delicious food we enjoyed. A must visit!

Last minute decision today to have some drinks during golden hour and watch the sunrise, so fortunately they were able to accommodate us. Had some cocktails and snacks at the bar. Every person we met was nice. Top service. Drinks and food were also 👍. Liked that they make guacamole in front of you so you know it's fresh. Definitely recommend the place!

Skyfall Cannes is easily one of the best nightlife destinations in heart of Cannes! The location is ideal, and the overall experience feels both upscale and exciting! The venue consistently features great DJs and regularly hosts live artist performances, which adds an impressive touch to the night! The music is upbeat, the atmosphere is vibrant, and the interior is stylish, classy, and beautifully designed. The crowd was great, the ambiance was elevated, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the evening. If you’re looking for a high quality, energetic night out in Cannes, I highly recommend Skyfall Cannes!
Sabina Mehmedovic★★★★★
Amazing vibe and atmosphere! Skyfall Cannes is such a fun spot with great music, great service, and an overall upscale experience! Perfect place for a night out in Cannes! Highly recommend!
Giulio Bontà★☆☆☆☆
Me and my wife went there for NYE, definitely not that ‘classy’ and ‘chic’ cause of some clientele people. Staff at Skyfall is nice and kind but I can’t say the same bout the other ones drinking inside. Music way too loud and 30€ with a drink included are too much for this place. It’s more like a disco, definitely not a lounge bar. I personally wouldn’t recommend if you’re searching for a classy bar.
Giovanni Toumi★★★★★
On Sundays there was the DJ LENA K, amazing set in an very classy location! Prices are very correct even for a table. Music and location are amazing, just need to repeat this over and over. That was missing in Cannes. Very nice crew for the service, allways an eye open and no waiting time. Must go place!
Janine Alli-Balogun★★★★★
Skyfall is an amazing, modern, classy, chic and superbly decorated cocktail bar. I was served the most lush cocktails and the vibe and music was fantastic! Visiting Skyfall is a MUST when in Cannes, and I'm already looking forward to my next trip back! Thank you Skyfall staff for making my visit to Cannes so perfect.

15 Aug 2026 This is my first time and will be my last time, they are very rude, from the receptionist to the manager, I was seated in a table after one hour they changed it!! in the middle of my meal! And she said if I don’t move she will call the security and kick me out! Don’t recommend at all.

An unforgettable experience! The Marriott rooftop on the Croisette undoubtedly offers the most beautiful terrace in all of Cannes. The setting is simply magical, magnificent, with a breathtaking view. As for the food, the dishes are delicious and well-prepared, although the portion of seared tuna was rather small. A big thank you to the team who made the experience even more special: Mustapha, the dynamic and professional manager, always smiling and extremely helpful. You can immediately feel his passion! And it's truly delightful. Uma, our waitress, was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. A must-visit that I wholeheartedly endorse and recommend! After a long day at work, it's truly the perfect place to unwind.
Caroline mandrile★★★★★
A real gem! On the 5th floor overlooking the Croisette, a spectacular sea view in an elegant and incredibly welcoming setting. The local cuisine is generous, refined, and showcases beautiful ingredients. My special mention goes to the cocktails, as beautiful as they are delicious. For me, this is the place to be in Cannes, ideal for a romantic dinner or simply to enjoy the view. I highly recommend it! You practically reach for the stars up there.
Aurore ESPERANT-COLOMBOT★★★★☆
The view is certainly exceptional, but the rooftop decor leaves much to be desired. The menu is nothing special, and the milkshakes are not recommended. The staff is very young and friendly but lacks supervision; they are left too much to their own devices, which detracts from the professional atmosphere.

My first time at this establishment, I was not let down. The food is amazing. The service is impeccable in the ambience and the vibes are what you look for when you think south of France. The DJ warms up about 1030 and it turns really vibrant and then you can move inside to the Club around midnight. I will definitely return next year.
Sara Hedayati★★★★★
Honestly, so worth the price! The entertainment was so lit, the atmosphere was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. The whole night had such a good vibe, and the service was great too. Definitely a place I’d recommend for a fun night out.
A. U.★☆☆☆☆
I bought a ticket specifically to see Shimza and arrived at around midnight. What followed was one of the strangest and most unprofessional club experiences I have ever had. At the entrance, the staff seemed completely disorganized. They stared at me, walked back and forth, and appeared unable to decide what to do. Some people were allowed in while others were stopped, with no clear explanation. One employee took my ticket, scanned or photographed the QR code, and then simply disappeared. After I had been left standing there waiting, another employee came over and told me that my ticket had already been used. Of course it had. Their own colleague had just processed it in front of me. Eventually, I discovered that the real issue was apparently my Le Club 55 cap. A woman asked me to remove it and leave it with security. I had no problem doing so because I assumed this was part of the dress code. However, once inside, I saw plenty of other guests wearing caps and hats. So clearly, the rule was not being applied equally. The whole situation felt arbitrary, selective, and deeply unprofessional. Unfortunately, the bar experience was even worse. The bartenders aggressively pushed me to buy a bottle for around €1,000 to €1,500 and seemed to expect me to treat women they knew. When I made it clear that I was not going to buy bottle service at the bar, they became rude and effectively stopped serving me. This is not hospitality. It is pressure, arrogance, and disrespect toward a paying guest. The sound and lighting were good, but professional equipment cannot compensate for chaotic management, selective door policies, and disgraceful treatment at the bar. A club charging premium prices should provide premium service. This place delivered the exact opposite. I left completely disappointed and would not recommend it.
Sasha & Ryan★★★★★
We visited for dinner and vibes and it did not disappoint! Dinner was full of flavour (rock shrimp was a particular favourite), service was great & the vibes were amazing. We got the ruby package for 2 people and felt it was worth the price for a table for 4 hours. We had multiple courses, with the dj and dancers keeping the vibes going throughout. We will most definitely visit again when in the SOF!!
Jan Stelzer★☆☆☆☆
Without a doubt the worst venue on the Côte d’Azur. We had dinner here with a group of eight and spent around €1,400. Toward the end of the evening, two women from our table went to the restroom. When they tried to return, security refused to let them back because they had decided to close off that section of the venue. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the security guard physically prevented them from returning to our table. When the manager arrived, his only response was that the guard was “just doing his job.” There was no apology, no attempt to find a reasonable solution, and absolutely no concern for paying customers. Cannes is full of outstanding restaurants and clubs where guests are treated with respect. Bâoli is not one of them. It feels like a place living on its former reputation: arrogant staff, poor management, and a clear focus on making quick money rather than providing hospitality or customer service. We will never return, and I would strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere. As previously mentioned in another review: when greed kills a legend. People are treated like dirt here. The managers simply don’t care, make no effort to resolve problems, and couldn’t care less about their customers.

Absolutely amazing views with a great atmosphere! The food is incredible and the dessert is devine. Totally recommend this place if you are in Cannes and make sure you try the pavlova dessert. Thank you to all the staff for being really friendly. Special thank you to the lovely hostess and our server Alberto:)

Decided to organize a birthday gathering for 15 people at restaurant Bella. Everything was absolutely perfect from head to toe. Fantastic crew and vibes that were led by our waiter for the evening (Alberto). The food was beyond divine, in fact it's probably the best I've personally had in the Côte d'Azur. Everyone should visit restaurant Bella at least once in their life. Thank you for an unforgettable time! P.S. Don't hesitate to order cake for your special occasion directly through them, we're all still drooling at the thought of it.
Petruta Petre★☆☆☆☆
Food was mediocre and very expensive as well as the drinks. The staff seemed understaffed too so there was a lot of waiting time. On top of that they charge EUR 15 for a bottle of water which I find outrageous- it was hot so we drank two bottles so we actually spent 30 euro on water (come on…). The slow cooked tuna dish was ok however it came along with eggplant garnish that was really bad. It seemed to have a lot of cumin and that went really bad with the fish in my opinion.
MJ★★★★★
Superb ambience and delightful cuisine. I received the most warm and exceptional welcome from the hostess Sandra for dinner tonight and the most thoughtful and professional service from Nadia, who was my waitress and an excellent guide to Bella's menu. I'm so happy with my experience here and already am planning on returning with friends. Don't skip ordering the leeks with tahini and honey, nor the sole if they have it, and the chocolate gateau with passion fruit! Complimenti alla brigata! Complements to the brigade and merci mille fois 🥰🩷✨
Yasya Melnichuk★★★★★
We stopped by for cocktails with our family and friends on the rooftop after our civil wedding ceremony. We received such a warm welcome and felt so well taken care of from the moment we arrived. The cocktails were exceptional, the appetizers were absolutely delicious, and the people made the experience truly unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate this moment. Highly recommended! And a special hello to Alberto!

Harry’s Bar in Cannes was a great cocktail stop during our trip. The atmosphere felt elegant while still remaining welcoming and comfortable, which made it easy to settle in after a long day. The cocktails were all very well balanced and well crafted, and the service throughout the visit was excellent. Overall, a really enjoyable bar experience and somewhere I’d definitely recommend if you’re in Cannes.

There is more to Cannes than just rosé thanks to this Harry’s Bar. In a city that is more wine than cocktails, the perfection of the French 75, the Scofflaw, and White Lady — all Harry’s originals — is as inspiring as the views of the bay outside. The staff are also so amazing. Thank you for the exceptional time!

Cocktails are nice, and so is the atmosphere. Unfortunately, there are major issues with the management. The lady with an Eastern European accent who was presented to me as the manager is insufficiently competent and adequate for this type of establishment. Her handling of a sensitive situation which could have been a simple misunderstanding turned out to be as discriminatory as perceived, and ruined my experience.

Came for a drink during Cannes festival, there were about 5 hawks to scare away pigeons, service was very friendly, drinks were delicious, the one I had came with a drink perfume, very memorable
Debi Krichbaum★★★★★
My experience was so memorable! I enjoyed an outdoor table and ordered the Bartender Emanuel Balestra’s custom drink The Levande. There is a charming but highly productive garden on the Seventh floor that produces not only the delicious herbs, flowers and flavors for their custom drinks, but also has their own bee colony to pollinate the organic plants. My food and drink were spectacular and thanks to manager Guillermo Pittaluga for the amazing tour of the garden and the extraction process!!! I will be back next time I am in town. Truly the best bar in Cannes!
Johan Erkers★★★☆☆
Atmosphere is typical classical hotel bar, nice. Service, impeccable. Drinks, the ones with the perfume pairing - awesome. Bar food? Horrible. My fries taste of fish, the club sandwich bland. San daniele plate came with less than fresh mortadella that had gone bad. Yes, really bad. Too bad, it could have been so awesome. Do better please. Later. A discussion with someone I believe has some sort managerial position was askinh about it, instead of just apologizing he said we were wrong in all cases. Great sense of service. Congratulations. In the end they did not charge for the San Daniele. Point is still valid. But appreciate the gesture. The Marc pictured. Fantastic. Worth it.
Kevin Fogarty★★★★☆
Beautiful bar, loved the decor and the barman was very friendly. He even gave me his corkscrew when I asked to borrow it. The price of the cocktails was hideous as expected. €25 each for a regular drink.

An exceptional address in the heart of Cannes. Glass is far more than just a venue it's a place that blends elegance, professionalism, and a jaw-dropping atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The service is flawless — attentive, responsive, and perfectly discreet. The team adapts effortlessly to every need, whether for a private event, a corporate cocktail reception, or an exclusive evening. The space itself is a stage: bright, beautifully designed, with architecture that makes Glass an ideal filming location for film and audiovisual productions. Private hire is handled with exceptional care and top-level organisation. And to top it all off, the value for money truly lives up to every aspect of the experience. A rare gem in Cannes not to be missed.

Yeah, I mean you’d think it’s a whole club but it’s a room with a bar. Vibe was bigger than the place. Also made us wait outside just to make a line.

Must do/eat/drink while in Cannes. Great atmosphere right next to market, great sea food, great wine and friendly staff.

We had an amazing experience here and would absolutely give this place 5 stars. Even though it was completely full, the service was incredibly friendly, fast and consistently professional, which made us feel really well taken care of. The atmosphere next to the market is great – lively, authentic and exactly what you hope for in this part of town. The portions were large, the seafood was fresh and truly delicious, and every dish felt like great value. This is a spot everyone should visit when they are in Cannes!

Excellent oysters and prawns. Great prices you don’t usually expect on the French Riviera for this kind of food. Saved it on my top favorites, will surely return next time I’m in Cannes.
Elizabeth GarZva★★★★★
We really like this place for simple seafood. Do not go expecting a traditional seafood menu, there are no sides or extras. It's basic, shrimp, oysters, urchins, and a few other things. There is also charcuterie, for non seafood eaters. If you like peel and eat, simple fresh shrimp and oysters, I highly recommend this place. The service is good and the vibe is nice, because it is around the local Forville Market.

I’m so surprised of the reviews here! We went to check out this place because it had extremely good reviews. But the reality was VERY DIFFERENT. We ordered a Passion fruit martini and a mojito, the drinks that arrived were VERY far from the real cocktails. Full of sugar, diluted and didn’t even have the right colour. The waiter quickly changed those cocktails when we complained for a beer and a white wine but never refunded us the price we paid for those disgusting cocktails. This place is only for those who don’t know the real taste/look of a good cocktail. Also be aware you will be covered in cigarette smoke everywhere there.

We stumbled across this gorgeous little bar, the owner and bartender were so lovely and made the experience so fun and creative!

A great affordable bar within the Cannes area, with happy hour drinks. The owner of the venue is very welcoming and the bar tender goes above and beyond to make a drink you’ll be sure to enjoy!

Find the magic at this hidden gem, down a side street alley and go to Le Jardin Secret! Quaint and intimate bar/restaurant (outside patio) with decor that is warm and welcoming. It gives me speak-easy vibes! It was a complete surprise and an experience that made this solo-traveler feel incredibly welcomed. Sit with a glass of wine (or a Spritz!), order food (ravioli and hummus were delicious and so was the homemade dessert) and enjoy the vibes and the charisma of Max, who will make you feel right at home.

Lovely team, had a great moment there! Amazing spot for hosting private events.

The place itself is really charming and great to enjoy with friends & family while sipping drinks. The staff is very friendly and thoughtful. Unfortunately we were not happy with the food. It was pretty expensive for the amount and was missing spices. It would be nice to have at least salt and pepper on the table to add if needed. Nevertheless it's one of the better places in Cannes.

This is my first time in Cannes and I can’t imagine a place that is more opposite to the general mayhem of the advertising festival. If you want a secluded place to enjoy the good weather and some tasty wine, then this is the place. It’s not fancy at all, so check yourself before you make the trip up the hill. The hospitality, food, and wine are all worth the trip.

Le Jardin Secret is an absolute hidden gem in the heart of the old town. With its quirky garden in the back, you can get away from the hustle and bustle of le Souquet and enjoy a quiet and relaxed evening. The food is authentic and delicious, and the wine list is unparalleled. To top it all off, the owner Max and his staff are so friendly and make the whole experience worthwhile. A must when visiting Cannes.

Nice, classic place. The clientele is very let’s say cosmopolitan, to be polite. One negative comment from my side is as follows : I have ordered a whiskey sour as a classic. The drink came with no ice, no egg foam, not a classic. Although the taste was good, I should have been informed that the classic is NOT served as classic. Anyways be there before 22:00 unless you know the staff. Overall nice place, definitely worth visiting.

Before summer ends, I feel obligated to praise the kindest and most welcoming service in Cannes. The atmosphere is pleasant, the bar drinks are delicious, and the positive energy of the staff is the icing on the cake! I love this place.

Bar Martinez in Cannes is pure timeless elegance. The moment you step in, you feel transported to the golden age of the Riviera — with its old-school charm, warm atmosphere, and exceptional service. The cocktails are exquisite, and the entire experience feels both nostalgic and luxurious. Truly unforgettable

This bar is a must if you are visiting Cannes. Opened in 1929 this bar has a beautiful retro atmosphere inside. Sleek wood details, just the right lighting and of course magnificent drinks. I usually enjoy an Old Fashioned, but the group i was with recommended a house special jumanji. Rum and Amaretto for sure with a few secret ingredients to make it extra special. Very refreshing cocktail on a warm day. The presentation of the drink includes a bit of a performance! Regardless if you staying at St. Martinez Hotel or somewhere else be sure to enjoy a cocktail at this historic bar!

One of the most beautiful bars I’ve ever visited. The atmosphere was truly exceptional, with an elegant yet vibrant energy that made the entire experience memorable. The drinks menu offered an impressive and thoughtfully curated variety, and we especially enjoyed exploring several of the spritz options. What made the evening even more special was the owner’s genuine warmth and remarkable international outlook, which made us feel completely at home despite being so far away.

Excellent food and even better drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and refreshing. Adonis, the barkeep, is a gentleman and can point you to anything locally that may be of interest. We were in town for three nights, discovered this on the second, and had to come back on the third. Won’t miss it a single day on our next visit.

A gem not just in Cannes but the entire Riviera! Great ambiance and drinks with the coolest owner. We visited every night of our stay in Cannes, and it was a highlight of our trip. Thanks Adonis - Kevin and I hope to see you again! Maybe August 27 next year? 😉

Absolutely loved this tapas bar. The food was incredible — every dish was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the menu and the overall experience. The service was honestly one of the highlights of the night; the staff were so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly without being over the top. They gave great recommendations and made us feel looked after from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and lively, perfect for sharing plates and drinks with friends. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time — will definitely be coming back!

If I could give more stars, then I would do so in a heartbeat. La Fée Verte has the biggest selection of cocktails I’ve seen and they’re all amazing. Adonis, the owner, is a sincere & sociable guy with great humor and the most interesting stories. Above all, the atmosphere, music, and location of the cocktail bar is perfect. What makes this place even better, is that he does everything (cocktails, tapas, table service, cleaning, etc.) all on his own. If I ever return to Cannes, then I will definitely be back here. If you’re in Cannes for a trip, then La Fée Verte is definitely at the top of the list of must-go places. Merci pour tout, Adonis, et à la prochaine !

Insider Tips for Enjoying Cannes Rooftop Bars

To make the most of your elevated evening in Cannes, a little local knowledge goes a long way. The Riviera operates on its own rhythm, and understanding the nuances of timing, attire, and reservation policies will ensure you are treated like a VIP rather than turned away at the door. Here are essential strategies to elevate your experience before you even take the elevator up.

Book Ahead, Especially in Summer
Cannes is a global destination, and during the summer months—and especially during the Film Festival or conferences like MIPIM—the best rooftop terraces reach capacity very early. Do not rely on walk-in availability for sunset hours. Call ahead or use online reservation systems to secure a table with the best view, even if it is just for a pre-dinner drink.

Time Your Visit for the "Golden Hour"
The most magical time to visit a rooftop bar is roughly one hour before sunset. Arriving at this time allows you to secure a prime spot, watch the light change over the bay, and often take advantage of "Happy Hour" pricing that disappears once the sun goes down. It is the perfect transition from a beach day to a glamorous evening.

Understand the Dress Code
While Cannes is generally relaxed, the higher-end hotel rooftops enforce a smart-casual or elegant dress code. This usually means no flip-flops, beachwear, or sports jerseys for men. Linen shirts, tailored shorts or trousers, and elegant sundresses or stylish jumpsuits for women are the standard. Dressing well not only guarantees entry but also improves the quality of service you receive.

Be Prepared for Premium Pricing
You are paying for the view as much as the liquid in your glass. Cocktails at rooftop venues in Cannes can range from €18 to €30 or more. To manage your budget, look for venues that offer a "formule" or set menu for aperitivo hours, or opt for a glass of local Provençal wine, which is often more reasonably priced than a complex cocktail.

Check for Private Events
Because of the exclusivity of these spaces, many rooftops are frequently booked for private parties, brand launches, or weddings. There is nothing worse than getting dressed up only to find the venue closed for a private function. Always check the bar’s social media or website on the day of your visit to confirm they are open to the public.

The allure of Cannes is found in its ability to blend effortless natural beauty with high-end human artistry. A rooftop bar encapsulates this perfectly, offering a space where the sea breeze meets the clink of crystal glasses. It is a sensory experience that stays with you long after you have left the French Riviera.

As you plan your itinerary, remember that the best travel memories are often made in these suspended moments between day and night. Whether you choose a legendary palace hotel or a hidden gem in the old town, taking the time to look down upon the glittering city will give you a new perspective on why Cannes remains one of the most beloved destinations in the world.
