Torremolinos does not simply wake up when the sun goes down; it transforms. While this Costa del Sol town is famous for its sprawling beaches and family-friendly promenades, its alter ego emerges after midnight. The air shifts from salty sea breeze to a mix of perfume, basslines, and anticipation.
For decades, this town has been a beacon for nightlife lovers, particularly within the LGBTQ+ community, but its appeal stretches far wider. From high-octane drag shows to intimate cocktail lounges and massive open-air terraces, the variety is staggering. You can start your evening with a quiet gin and tonic and end it dancing on a podium at sunrise.
The geography of the fun is surprisingly convenient. Most of the action is concentrated in the lively "La Nogalera" district, just a short walk from the train station and the beach. This density means you can easily venue-hop without ever needing a taxi, creating a fluid, safe, and spontaneous night out.
However, the sheer density of options can be overwhelming for a first-time visitor. It is easy to miss a hidden gem tucked down a side street or to waste time at a venue that does not match your vibe. Knowing where to go before you arrive is the key to maximizing your time.
We have curated this list based on atmosphere, music quality, uniqueness, and reputation. Whether you are looking for a glamorous cabaret experience, a gritty house music session, or a place to sip cocktails under the stars, this guide covers the essential stops.
Below is the definitive guide to the best places to dance, drink, and celebrate in this vibrant Spanish coastal town.

Worst place I visited in Torre. i went to Aqua the night before and expected here to be similar. Its tiny, more straight women than Aqua, fairly quiet at 2.30am in Sat with soul destroying music. I paid 15β¬ to get in and didn't even finish my free drink. I only stayed 20 minutes before realising there was no way it could ever get better. my only happy memory of the place is that the doorman asked 'did i not like it there?' as i left. I was too annoyed to respond to. also no stamp to allow re-entry, like other bars. if i had this i may have tried to pop in later. Avoid!
RESPONSE: the response below says something about the attitude of the people there.
1. it was my first time in Torremolinos
2. this was my genuine experience and i left as it was awful
3. I wasnt offered re-entry. As a new tourist you would think the doorman may realise to offer after i wasted β¬15 for 20 minutes. Other places insisted my arm was stamped at entry to confirm payment.
The response confirms that there are toxic people there. And there is something to be said about not be allowed to have an opinion. If you dont say its great, you just get shot virtually. And reading responses to other reviews, it does feel like friends may be trying to keep the reviews better.
The rest of Torremolinos was lovely. So I would reiterate to tourists to not go to this place due to the attitude and overall vibe. Many many other bars there which are better.

My wallet and phone were stolen. The person was Moroccan / middle eastern. Crime in Torremolinos is a serious problem. I now know of multiple tourists and locals who have been robbed. It is common. Clubs and bars need to work with the police to protect customers.

The club was terrible. There were no people. They stole our money. We wanted to pay 2 cocktails but our card declined. The money went 3 times of our banc account, 60 euros too much. We went back to the club to explain the situation, the only thing they did was yelling at us. We are just 18 and this was a terrible evening and there was no one to help us. Do not go to this club!

I come here for the pure techno and the world class DJs, and this place never disappoints. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible and the sound system is insane. βA super well-known club where you can't go wrong if you're looking for a great atmosphereβit is packed with guys and has an amazing energy, which I absolutely loved! The venue consists of two locations (one below the other). The staff is totally fine, and I really appreciated that when it got extremely crowded and you could barely breathe, they were smart enough to open up the downstairs area. Imagine a place so packed that people had to line up outside waiting for spots to open up just to get in.
βOn the flip side, I have a major warning regarding cleanliness, which I truly hope management fixes ASAP because it is extremely important for hygiene. Even though the cleaning staff was there permanently, they weren't cleaning extraordinarily well. You can tell they wipe things down, but they do NOT use any actual disinfectant! The toilets, and especially the intimate cleaning area, were a disasterβvery dirty. It's mandatory to use bleach or at least a disinfectant that actually smells clean, which is completely missing right now and really makes you think twice.
βI highly recommend going because it's full of guys and worth it, but you need to be extremely, heavily cautious about cleanliness while there. I hope management takes action and starts using real disinfectants.

Very disapointed experience at the door. Dorman was not willing to help, quite arrogant. I bought a ticket by a mistake for a next day, unfortunately I will be leaving back home earlier, therefore I asked if they can honour it for today even if I top up 5 EUR to the door price. He was not willing to help and asked another 20 EUR. Shame on you treating people like a fool. I hope one day you will be paid back... I am not going to places which are so unfriendly to the customers.

Nice gay bar, with drag show starting at around 11:30 pm.
There are many gay bars all next to each other, some with daily drag shows, like Strass.
There is no entrance fee. Most of the walls are windows, so you can also see from the outside what you're signing up for before entering.
Peak time was around midnight. It's possible to sit inside and out.
Prices were ok.

Very lovely bar with drag entertainment!
The bar is very new (the barman told me they just opened 2/3 months ago) and nice and modern. You can see and hear the show from outside as well, so you can sit on the terras and still enjoy the show!
They have great cocktails, and snacks to treat yourself withπΈ(as well as other drinks)
The staff is really nice and kind as well as the performersβ¨οΈ I would highly recommend the place for a great night out, no matter who you are!
One note tho; Use google maps to find it.
For me it was kind of hard to find at first, because I found out about the place through a big sign which lead me to walk into a dead-ended street... woops!

We booked the sunbed for two, which included a complimentary bottle of wine. Unfortunately, the wine tasted like vinegar. When we mentioned it, the waiters seemed to already know there was an issue with it but instead of resolving the situation, they implied it was our fault for choosing it.
The service was also disappointing. We had to call the waiters multiple times (more than five) just to get assistance or an answer.
Cleanliness was another concern. The bedding and pillows were heavily yellow-stained, and there was a dirty plate left on our table from previous guests. Even after we pointed it out, it was never cleared away.
There were also dogs roaming freely around the venue without leashes, which may not be comfortable for all guests.
Finally, be aware of where youβre seated. Some sunbeds are located very close to the speakers. There was no live music (only a playlist) but the volume was still overwhelming if you were nearby.
Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, especially considering the price.

Only ever drank here but food looks great, drinks here are good especially important if your a cocktail fan, they do great drinks. Its not your cheapest bar, the single beach bed are 10 euro a day and the large mattress beach beds are 80 a day but from what we seen this does come with some complimentary bonuses in shots and tapas every now and then. We have and would drink here more, service can be a bit slow is the only real let down but its a big area for the staff to be running to be fair.

We got two cocktails and a gin. At β¬10 each you'd think the cocktails would be at least tolerable but my Pina colada wasn't drinkable, the other two in my party agreed. I think the coconut cream must have been off. It tasted like puke and left a strong aftertaste for a long time. When the waiter came to be paid he looked at the basically full glass that we were leaving behind but didn't ask if there was a problem. Also, genuinely don't think there was any alcohol in it, but maybe the putrid coconut cream overpowered it.

We stopped here for some drinks. Our order was taken quickly. We could see our drinks waiting on the bar but they took more than 10 minutes to arrive at our table by which time the ice had melted so we had to ask for another glass. This bar is in a great location right on the beach front and is ideal for watching the world go by with great views. However the service was terrible so we would not return or recommend as there are plenty of other better options!

One of the worst entertainment venues Iβve ever been to. Save your money and go elsewhere.
The sound was very loud and cheap, with zero bass
just harsh highs and mids blasting your ears. The DJ played the same annoying circuit-style trash music all night.
We also hated that the dark rooms were used as smoking areas for the entire club. The smell was horrible, and it was hard to breathe in there.
The place has a lot of potential. Too bad they donβt have good music, proper sound quality, or someone on the management team with basic experience in entertainment.

The entrance cost 18 euros.
Security did not check my bag and cloths and that might allow others to carry some bad stuff.
You get 1 free drink with your entrance ticket.
I went around 3.30 on Saturday and it was busy, but not too much.
Music is fantastic.
I enjoyed a lot because they were also lot of half naked hot muscles men who were dancing and showing their muscles. It was a nice view πΏ
There is a small cruising area.
If you want to order a drink from the bar, first you have to buy a ticket from cashier. You canβt pay on the bar.
You can leave your clothes in the cloak room - 2 euro.

One star on the basis of the show. This place is overpriced. The Darkroom/Playground is collocated with the smoking room and there's no ventilation! You'll need a lung replacement after ! People go to the toilets for fun instead and there are no toilets for people to use.
Jesmond Darmaninβ
β
βββ
The club would benefit greatly from a full revamp, as its current condition leaves much to be desired. There are visible maintenance issues, including holes in the ceiling and missing ceiling tiles that have not been replaced. One of the moving head lights appeared to be loosely installed, which raised safety concerns as it swung with the light movements.
Ventilation is also an area for improvement. The lack of airflow makes the venue uncomfortably hot. The toilet, was absolutely filthy as well, but this is not usually something venues have control on, but at least if the ventilation was better then odors could be minimised. Accessibility could be better addressed, as small, uneven steps are scattered throughout the space and can be difficult to notice under dim lighting, posing a potential hazard.
Additionally, the smoking area allows odors to spread throughout the venue, which may be unpleasant for non-smokers. The sound system is extremely loud; while some guests may enjoy this level of volume, others might find it overwhelming.
With some attention to maintenance, safety, accessibility, and comfort, this venue could become a much more enjoyable space.

I stayed in Torremolinos for 10 nights over Christmas and New Year and visited this bar every night (terrace area). I personally found the staff very welcoming, friendly, and attentive.
I particularly liked the frozen margaritas and the prices were very reasonable.
I visited the club on one occasion and found it spacious with more club style music, which I enjoyed! However, the club staff are less friendly than the staff on the terrace upstairs area, but that is most likely down to it being a club with loud music.
Crowd wise, it attracts people of all ages on the terrace with a younger crowd in the club. All in all a great atmosphere and good music!
I have read some of the other reviews and can understand why people comment about the toilets, but I personally found the toilets here a lot better than some of the other bars I visited (the girls toilets upstairs were spotless if you don't want to go downstairs!).
I will definitely be back in the future and would like to thank all the staff for always being kind and friendly when I visited.

Extremely disappointing experience.
We were treated rudely and judgmentally at the door and were refused entry for no valid reason, while others were allowed in. The way the staff spoke to us felt discriminatory and came across as racist and sexist. Being a group of girls should not be a reason to be turned away or spoken to disrespectfully.
This kind of behavior is unacceptable and completely ruined what should have been a fun night. I would not recommend this club to anyone who expects fair and respectful treatment.
If you want it shorter, more detailed, or even firmer, tell me and l'll adjust it exactly to your vibe.

Eden Beach Club in Torremolinos is a fantastic place to spend a relaxing day by the sea. The atmosphere is stylish and luxurious while still feeling welcoming and comfortable. The beach beds are incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy the sunshine, and take in the beautiful coastal views.
During the summer months, it can get very busy, so I would recommend reserving beds in advance to avoid disappointment. However, we arrived without a reservation and were lucky enough to find beds available for just β¬12, which is a very reasonable price for such a luxurious beach club experience.
While everyone is welcome, itβs worth noting that Eden Beach Club has a strong LGBTQ+ atmosphere and is particularly popular with gay men. Women are welcome too, but the majority of guests are gay men, which creates a fun, relaxed, and friendly environment where people can feel comfortable being themselves.
The venue is advertised as adult-only, although during our visit we did notice that there were children present. This didnβt affect our experience, but it is something worth mentioning for anyone specifically looking for an adults-only environment.
The restaurant and bar areas are great for enjoying food and drinks throughout the day, and I was particularly pleased with the vegan options available. I chose the vegan burger, and it was absolutely deliciousβfull of flavour, satisfying, and a great example of how vegan food can be just as enjoyable and exciting as any other menu option.
Itβs always great to find places that cater well to different dietary choices, especially in a beach club setting where vegan options can sometimes be limited. Eden Beach Club made it easy to enjoy a full day by the sea with great food, a comfortable place to relax, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Overall, Eden Beach Club is a wonderful choice if youβre looking for a stylish and inclusive beach day in Torremolinos. With comfortable beds, a beautiful setting, a friendly crowd, and tasty vegan options, itβs a place I would happily recommend and return to.

Wish I had found it earlier although I still have two more weeks to enjoy their hospitality and excellent food and service.
Weather permitting I will definitely be an early bird to catch one of their Sun loungers on the beach after which I will update my revue.
The food today was excellent and amazing value at β¬20 for a three course choice menu (including a drink!).

We came here everyday for 5 days in a row. We only ate once but the rest of the time we had drinks, enjoyed the view of the beach, and nice music. Very gay vibes and overall fun. The food however was just ok. I ordered the Vietnamese roll which I didnβt know was fried because the menu didnβt say it. I was expecting something like a traditional Vietnamese summer roll. It was super salty, not my favorite. The tuna tartare was decent. The service was pretty good.

We were one of the first to arrive after 10am. Sun beds were reasonably priced at β¬10 each. No music being played affected the ambience and the place felt boring because of it.

Stuff is very friendly, service fast and polite. They have special theme nights and live shows every weekend (it has been the same many years but still nice that they arrange shows). There are separate areas for singles and couples, also shared areas if someone is interested about that. Toilet and shower is always clean. Also they have indoor smoking area but it is also allowed to go outside to smoke. Most of the stuff donβt speak English but there is always someone who can translate if needed. They used to have jaquzzi there and quite large cinema but now they have renovated place a bit and there are no jaquzzi anymore and cinema in now smaller.

Very bad experience. In this bar, you're still in clothes. bar is divided into dovu parts. When you come without a partner, so you pay 50 euros and you can only do a limited portion of the bar. Other couples are in different rooms, but you can not go there. You can only do one room which is completely dark and bars. Behind them are couples and you can reach them by hand. They are around other men. Very bad bar

Worst place I've ever been, as a black man no one was bothered with me but wanted my Italian girlfriend, as for the other couples its hard to meet other couples because you have the staff coming around threatening to kick you out if you are 5 footsteps away from your partner, and it's not the cleanest place, but if this is the best place in Malaga then imagine what the others are like, I would rather spend the 50 euros I paid to get in a taxi and go malaga anytime, I have 4 more days here and this club has put me off swinger clubs, not many couples got laid that night, plus everyone has their normal clothes on, so it takes longer to get started.

I went to a Cuban music concert. The atmosphere was somber. Barely 20 people. I danced to two songs, and they took my beer away from the bar. No matter how much I asked, no one had done it. Not only did they fail to get me to order another drink, but they also earned this objective and negative review.
I don't think I'll be back.

We came from Madrid because the atmosphere of this nightclub was recommended to us. We felt discriminated against because one of us was wearing a light-colored sweater and the security guard said we couldn't enter because it was against the rules. I suppose he'll deny what he said, but unfortunately I didn't record it. I don't recommend this place because of the security guard's actions. We also felt excluded because three people wearing sleeveless shirts and shorts were allowed in.

The venue's theme and decor are excellent, the service is superb, and the restrooms are spotless.
Overall, it's a great place, but the DJ is a real letdown. He plays a wide variety of music (mostly familiar to him, not many hits) that doesn't really liven things up.

Tips for Enjoying the Torremolinos Nightlife Scene
Navigating a new nightlife scene can be tricky, especially when the party starts late and the energy is high. To ensure you have the best possible experience, you need to understand the local customs and logistics. These tips will help you blend in, stay safe, and find the right party for your specific taste.
1. Do not arrive before midnight.
Spanish nightlife operates on a shifted clock. While many bars open earlier for pre-drinks, the dance floors usually remain empty until at least 1:00 AM. If you arrive at 10:00 PM, you will likely be drinking alone. Take a nap, enjoy a late dinner, and start your night at the "Spanish midnight."
2. Wear comfortable but stylish footwear.
While the venues are relatively close together in La Nogalera, you will still be on your feet for hours. Many venues have outdoor terraces with cobblestones or tiled floors. Leave the brand-new stilettos at home and opt for fashionable sneakers or comfortable block heels that can handle a night of dancing.
3. Bring physical identification.
Even if you are clearly over the age of 18, bouncers at the more popular clubs often require a physical passport or driver’s license. A photo on your phone is often not accepted. Keep your ID secure in a zipped pocket or a crossbody bag to avoid losing it on the dance floor.
4. Respect the space and the community.
Torremolinos is a sanctuary of inclusivity. The nightlife here thrives because people from all walks of life, sexual orientations, and gender identities feel safe. Regardless of which venue you choose, the golden rule is respect. Do not stare, do not make unsolicited advances, and always be mindful of the vibe of the room.
5. Plan for a late breakfast, not an early morning.
The party often continues until the sun is well above the horizon. Do not schedule an early morning excursion for the day after a big night out. Instead, plan to sleep in and recover with a leisurely "churros con chocolate" or a hearty Spanish breakfast at a beachside chiringuito.
The true beauty of Torremolinos lies in its ability to cater to every flavor of night owl. You can spend one evening in a sophisticated rooftop bar sipping vermouth and the next in a sweaty basement dancing to techno. The town encourages you to explore, to be yourself, and to lose track of time.
As the night winds down and the sky turns from black to deep blue over the Mediterranean, you will find yourself already planning your return. In Torremolinos, the night is not just a time of day; it is a celebration of life, freedom, and joy.
