15 Best Hotels in San Antonio, Ibiza

San Antonio is a place that wears its dual nature with pride. By day, it is a peaceful village of whitewashed houses, slow coffee rituals, and the scent of orange blossom drifting from quiet terraces. By night, it transforms into one of the most famous sunset destinations in the world, where the sky turns amber above a bay that has welcomed travellers for decades. Choosing the right base here is not just about finding a bed; it is about deciding which version of San Antonio you want to wake up to. From family-run boutique boltholes to sleek adults-only retreats, the accommodation landscape is far more varied than its party reputation suggests.

The west coast of Ibiza enjoys some of the most reliable weather on the island, and San Antonio sits at its heart. This means long, golden afternoons by the water and consistently spectacular sunsets that draw crowds to the bay each evening. However, the best hotels in the area understand that the true luxury is choice. Some properties place you steps from the famous sunset strip, while others tuck you into pine-scented hillsides where the only sound is the distant hum of boats returning to the harbour. The key is matching your hotel to your rhythm, whether that means late-night dancing or early-morning paddleboarding.

San Antonio’s hotel scene has evolved significantly over the last decade. While the town still offers excellent value for budget-conscious travellers, a new wave of design-led properties has raised the bar considerably. Many now feature rooftop pools, wellness spaces, and locally sourced dining that celebrates Balearic produce. This shift reflects a broader trend across Ibiza: the island is no longer solely a clubbing capital but a destination where relaxation and refinement sit alongside its famous nightlife. The result is a more nuanced, welcoming San Antonio for every kind of visitor.

Families are often surprised by how well San Antonio caters to them. The shallow, calm waters of the bay are ideal for young swimmers, and the wide promenade makes buggy-walking a breeze. Several hotels on the outskirts of town offer kids’ clubs, spacious family suites, and quiet gardens that feel a world away from the lively centre. Meanwhile, couples seeking romance can find hidden terraces, private jacuzzis, and sunset-facing balconies that turn every evening into a celebration. The town’s compact size means you are never far from a good meal or a beautiful view.

Accessibility is another significant advantage. San Antonio is well connected to Ibiza Town, the airport, and some of the island’s most beautiful calas. A short bus or taxi ride can take you from your hotel to the crystalline waters of Cala Bassa or Cala Conta, two of the most photogenic beaches in the Mediterranean. This makes San Antonio an excellent base for exploring the island’s wilder western coastline while still enjoying the convenience of a lively town. You can spend your mornings cliff-jumping into turquoise coves and your evenings sipping cocktails as the sun melts into the sea.

When choosing a hotel here, consider the season of your visit. From May to June and September to October, the island is at its most pleasant, with warm days and fewer crowds. July and August bring the full heat and energy of high summer, when booking well in advance is essential. Winter, while quieter, offers a glimpse of the authentic local life that many visitors miss. Many of the best properties now extend their seasons, offering heated pools and cosy lounges that make San Antonio a year-round escape rather than a fleeting summer fling.

The perfect San Antonio hotel ultimately depends on your travel style. Do you want to be in the centre of the action, where you can walk to world-famous clubs and sunset bars? Or do you prefer a hillside hideaway with sea views and a slower pace? The following selection represents the very best of what the area offers, spanning a range of budgets, styles, and experiences. Each property has been chosen for its consistent quality, genuine hospitality, and ability to deliver something memorable beyond a simple room key.

This hotel went above expectations. The location was amazing, the rooms were clean and offer free water, tea and coffee. The showers are excellent and have good pressure. There is air con! Every room has a safe. The sea view rooms are very picturesque even on a cloudy day! We were so impressed by the level of service, communication via WhatsApp made this easy and effortless. We felt well looked after from the minute we arrived to the minute we left. We will definitely be back.

We stayed two nights for a short getaway and had a Double Room Standard with balcony and sea view. The location is perfect – right in the center of San Antonio, next to the marina, close to the bus station, taxi stand, bars, the city beach and the Sunset Strip. It can be loud at night (it’s Ibiza!), but the hotel even provides ear plugs, which is a nice detail. The room was big, extremely clean and well equipped, with water and a coffee machine waiting for us. Special compliments to the housekeeping team – they really keep the rooms spotless. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept better than in most other hotels. Staff at reception were friendly and check‑in/check‑out were easy. The only real downside for us was the included breakfast downstairs at Bondi: you only get a drink, coffee and one simple dish like scrambled eggs on toast, which felt more like a café snack than a typical hotel breakfast. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back for the great location, super clean rooms, comfy bed and beautiful marina view.
Eleanor Crookes★★★★★
My partner and I had the BEST time here. Late check-out is available (€25 per hour) and there is a shower room available after check-out with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, towels etc. The staff are lovely and could not be more helpful. Location was perfect - we will be staying here again. Breakfast deal with Bondi cafe next door is worth it and the sea view is great for pre-drinking.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing – so friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The hotel was spotless, very clean, and well maintained throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and relaxing, with a lovely comfy bed that gave us a great night’s sleep. The location was also excellent, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. A big thank you from me and my husband for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to return in the future.
Ahsen Koca★★★★★
The best receptionist in the world! Adelina is so cute, funny, patient, and incredibly kind. She made our stay even more special with her amazing smile and positive energy. When we come back to Ibiza, one of the biggest reasons we’ll choose to stay here again will definitely be this wonderful lady. Thank you for making us feel so welcome! And also we appreciate to Leo, Juliana and Alberto…🍒🤍🪸🎶🧚🏼‍♀️

The location is great, the staff is super sweet and helpful but the state of the rooms is a horror honestly. There is so much chlorine in the shower I felt dirtier coming out then going in. The electricity in our room was not working even though the personnel tried to help us the circuit breaker in our room went out every 10min. It’s a very very loud accommodation as all of the guests are obviously party tourists but what surprised us was the construction going on in front of the hotel’s balcony. Uf and don’t get me started on the loud elevator! Yikes. And this is just a personal preference but the mattress was extremely soft for a good sleep. Overall as mentioned staff was nice but the smell/state of room, awful 😣
Anna Bland-Roberts★★★★☆
This is a great budget hotel. Staff were nice, rooms were basic but clean. Nice bathroom. Good location , it's quite noisy road wise but overall was impressed for what we paid.
Nicole Fiallo★★★★★
We stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks and truly have only wonderful things to say about it. Everything was great. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and you cannot beat the location. I definitely will be returning.
Fran Milinovic★★★★★
This hotel is amazing my favorite actually. The rooms are beautiful and massive I love them and the service is really really good they even let us use a shower after we checked out and they leave free candy at the entrance of the hotel I really love this hotel and the location is so good too. Thank you for this experience here this hotel is amazing ❤️.
Martin Szalay★★☆☆☆
Hotel was okay. Location is great: bus station nearby and you can reach beaches, clubs, supermarket and washing salon very quickly. But! The walls are paper thin, doors are very loud. A lot of young loud british tourists are there, and they are annoying. They are screaming and slamming doors... even after 11pm If you like to party, then go for it. If you like a good portion sleep, them book another different hotel.

Very chilled out spot. Its set back a bit from the main strip, but still close to everything. 2 pools are both very relaxing. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Breakfast selection could be better but generally a great hotel choice. Lovely reception staff, and quick check in.
David Brass★★★★☆
Stayed here back in 2021 and it's had a tidy up since, rooms are spacious, memory foam mattress, great shower and of course a mini fridge. Got half board and theres a great choice of food but drinks are extra. Has 2 big pools and a a gym with weights and cardio machines. Staff have been great and helpful. Adults only hotel so no children to spoil the stmoshere. Just on the roundabout coming into San Antoni, right next to Lidl
Yasmin Tucker-Cantez★★★★★
Had a great stay here for a short trip to Ibiza. Amazing location close to the centre, bus station and a Lidl a few minutes away. Hotel was spotless and smelt nice and clean too. Staff were lovely would recommend 100%
katarzyna zebik★★☆☆☆
The hotel's location is good and easily accessible, with free and ample parking available nearby. However, it seems like they're cutting corners in many areas, which doesn't meet my expectations for a hotel in this category. On the positive side, the reception and bar staff were very motivated and friendly! Criticisms: the overall complex looks neglected and unloved, and the outdoor staff seemed completely unmotivated. Cleanliness is not guaranteed throughout the hotel. There's mold in the bathroom and air conditioning vents, and the rooms are cleaned very sloppily. The previous guests' dirt and hair are often left behind, and it feels like they're just sweeping it under the rug (or in this case, out onto the balcony). The breakfast offerings were cold three times in a row. The rooms are very noisy, especially when partygoers come back late at night. The fridge in the room doesn't work properly, and the TV remote doesn't work at all. The coffee cups were dirty, and there was no coffee to speak of. In summary, it feels like they're trying to squeeze as much as possible out of minimal offerings due to high demand. If you're looking for a party and don't mind the state of the rooms, you might be fine. But if you expect a certain level of cleanliness, health, and hygiene, I'd recommend avoiding.
Jill R★★★★★
Friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The room was clean and everything worked fine. Only minor point but there was only one chair in the double room as maybe not room for two. Balcony with chairs overlooking the small pool. We ate breakfast and dinner - there was plenty of choice. As a vegetarian I was very happy with the many different dishes to choose from. Great location too. Not far from the seafront, bus station and a Lidl. Quiet hotel at night.

Fantastic hotel, location is superb, staff were friendly and the place is very clean and well maintained. The only thing I would mention is that with the 2pm check in, they won't give you the wristband before to use the facilities which they normally do at other all inclusives and also they remove it immediately when you check out. This means that if you have an early flight in and/or a late flight out you essentially get less use of the facilities, this is something hopefully they might change in the future. The room was superb, it was a good size with very comfortable beds and it was spotless. The shower was good and the air conditioning was just right. Food was excellent and most times there was excellent variety of options, there were a couple of times there was less variety in the food at meals but what was there was good quality and very tasty. All in all a wonderful experience and a great place to stay if you plan to visit this beautiful island.
Visar Kelmendi★★★☆☆
We stayed at Hotel Vibra for four nights and were checked in quickly with no issues. The hotel itself was clean, and the location was convenient, especially being so close to the beach. Although the beach is small, it was still great for a quick dip in the sea. Breakfast was generally good, although some of the food was cold at times. The main area for improvement, however, would be the noise levels. On more than one night, I was woken up very early by loud noises that seemed to be coming from cleaning services or furniture being moved in the rooms above us. Some noise is expected in a hotel, but being woken at around 5am by loud screeching sounds was frustrating. This was a shame because the beds were actually very comfortable, and sleep is such an important part of any hotel stay. Overall, it is a decent hotel with the potential to be much better, especially given the price and location.
Matt Fowler★★★★★
A big thank you to all the staff at the San Remo Hotel! Especially Claudia, Nico and Kes from the animacion team! They’re are so friendly, professional and welcoming. A big thank you to all the bar staff, Jose, Antonio, David and Isabelle who work so hard and are always smiling and approachable, even under the biggest pressure during the the Slipback in Time event! Also Eli the restaurant manager who makes sure your food is hot and tasty and the service is always on point! I can’t forget the housekeeping either who work so hard. Thank you all so much, see you next year!
Nikki Thomas★★★★★
We had an amazing time, staff are superb, very hard working and always polite & helpful. Everywhere is very clean. Florina the room cleaner is the best. Also Jose and George on reception. Bar staff are also great. Pool you need to que for a sun bed before 9am or else you need to wait until the afternoon to maybe grab a sun bed. There needs to be a better system for sun bed allocation so that every guest gets to have a chance of having a sun bed. Food is a good choice and plentiful. Close to amenities & Pharmacy but closed on a Sunday. Water taxi great €5 euro each way. Entertainment was good.
Liam Colville★★★★☆
We’re staying at Hotel San Remo for four days in May on a package holiday with Slip Back in Time, and we’ve had a fantastic experience so far. The hotel has been excellent — the rooms are clean, comfortable and really nice, and the atmosphere around the hotel is brilliant. The staff have all been very friendly and welcoming, but a special mention has to go to Kes from Ukraine, who has been incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Really friendly, professional and always happy to help with anything we needed. We’ve had a wonderful holiday and would definitely recommend Hotel San Remo to anyone visiting Ibiza. Great location, great staff and a great overall experience!

Excellent hotel at an excellent price! We stayed here for four nights and it was perfect for what we were looking for. The breakfast offered a good variety of options and the food was of a consistently good standard. The pool is huge and deep, with plenty of sunbeds available throughout the day (beginning of June) background music on all day from 11. The pool bar has an extensive food and drinks menu, all at very reasonable prices. The staff around the pool and bar were fantastic - friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Our room was a good size, clean, and well maintained. The beds were comfortable, and having a fridge in the room was a great bonus for keeping extra drinks and snacks cold. The hotel is an easy walk into Sant Antoni along the promenade, with Café Mambo around a 30-minute walk away. The only minor downside was that the lift in our building was out of service during our stay, meaning we had to carry our luggage up to the third floor. However, this was only a small inconvenience and certainly didn’t detract from an otherwise excellent experience. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily return in the future. I would also highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.
shaun wilson★★★★★
Great hotel for the price we paid. The staff were lovely, friendly and always helpful. The hotel itself was really good and we had a great stay. The cooked breakfast could definitely be better, but there was still plenty of choice. It can get a little noisy at times, but that’s Ibiza — if you’re looking for complete peace and quiet, Ibiza probably isn’t the place! 😂 Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it

This hotel was ok. Rooms are an ok size and has everything needed. Cleaners done a good job. One pool which is an ok size. Breakfast had an ok variety of cooked and cold on the menu. Staff were friendly and helpful. The gym was pretty good has more equipment than the average hotel. Overall it was just an ok hotel
Feltwell Cycles★★★★★
I chose the hotel as my Mrs and I have disabilities and trouble walking long distances but the place was great clean and easily accessible to San Antonio a mere 15 min walk to get down to the town. Last time I was here was 24 years ago and it’s changed a lot but everything does unfortunately. A great place for teens and adults alike. Pool was great clean and warm lots of fun to be had, staff friendly, it could do with a small cooker of some sort in the room but not a deal breaker. On site gym Would book again
Emily Wood★★★★★
Spent 5 days at Hotel Puchet the rooms were very clean the pool area and reception were also very clean the location is perfect not too far of a walk to San Antonio bay we only managed to get the breakfast one morning but the options were what you would expect. I would stay again

This hotel was absolutely fabulous and worth every penny! We Books the ocean view room with the terrace and prior to coming where a little worried that we had overspent, but as soon as we arrived, we’re so in love with every part of this hotel. We were greeted warmly with welcome drinks, when we had any questions about the room, the front desk was immediately there and happy to help. The breakfast that was included was an enormous beautiful spread every morning that we could take up to our room or enjoy out on the pool deck and was absolutely delicious. When we realized that it would make more sense to rent a scooter and inquired with the hotel about it, They arranged for the rental company to bring the contract and the scooter to the hotel, came and got us just a few minutes later when it was ready, and then told us all we had to do was leave the keys with them at checkout to return the scooter. The service was absolutely amazing, the staff was so welcoming, the hotel was very clean and beautifully taken care of, with the beach and plenty of restaurants and shops very close by. We met a group of teachers who have been coming here every year for a good number of years and they said they don’t even look for anywhere else to stay anymore, and I 100% understand why. This hotel is a gem, highly recommend staying here!
Louise Florey★★★★★
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and effective and the facilities were excellent. We spent three full days lying by the pool, and there was the perfect mix of a quiet and calm atmosphere in the morning. In the afternoon, the DJ played great music and it got busier, but was never too busy or loud at all. It was extremely relaxing. The drinks were delicious and there was a big selection. The pool snacks were also nice. The breakfast was extra delicious and we would thoroughly recommend it. Although the hotel is a little walk into the main area of the town, we enjoyed doing this in the evenings and it was not a problem for us at all, it added to our enjoyment. Thank you so much for our stay!
Amy Mitchell★★★★★
This is the best hotel, we have stayed here 4-5 times now with friends, for my hen do, and with my husband and we will be back! The hotel is modern, clean, has every amenity that you need, the food is great and the drinks are amazing! Perfect position opposite the beach, With easy access, to shops restaurants, a bakery, bus stop and taxi rank, can easy walk into the centre too! There is a DJ every afternoon who plays brilliant chilled music, he (Dj Masyga) and some of the staff have been there since we began coming in 2016! They have great friendly staff who go above and beyond for the best experience! Reception are always helpful with irons, towels, booking cabs, questions and just so lovely! The Manager is so kind and gave us bracelets before we left
Forever Rose★★★★★
Had the best stay at the Marina Playa! This was our 2nd stay and they never disappoint! The rooms are lovely, the location is absolutely perfect—right on the beach with the most amazing views. The hotel team is wonderful, so friendly and helpful, and they really went above and beyond for me. I’d arranged early check-in and surprised my husband with balloons in the room for his birthday, and the staff made sure everything was set up perfectly before we arrived. It made the start of our trip so special. Also, don’t skip the breakfast! The continental spread was brilliant every morning. We loved every second of our time here and definitely plan to be back next year!!
S Zvimba★★★★★
From the minute myself & my partner arrived, I mentioned to him how great a location it was, staff were all very lovely & accommodating, from reception staff, to bar staff & to the cleaning staff. Wherever we wanted to go it was within walking distance, though we had hired a car if wanting to go further afield, which was good to do so could see other bits of Ibiza. Was also one of the best spots to see the beautiful sunset 🌇. For the little Spanish that I know "Gracias y tuvimos una estancia maravillosa en el hotel." Translated in English "thank you & amazing stay was had at hotel" 😀 Would definitely recommend staying here 👍🏾

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing two-week stay at Hotel M, and I honestly enjoyed every part of it. From the moment I arrived, everything was perfect — the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the comfort, and especially the amazing staff. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made me feel comfortable and at home throughout my entire stay. The hotel was beautifully maintained, and I really appreciated the attention to detail and the positive atmosphere. After staying for two weeks, I can genuinely say that I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I enjoyed everything about Hotel M and I’m leaving with nothing but great memories. A big thank you to the entire team for making my stay so special. I would definitely recommend Hotel M and would happily stay here again! ❤️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had actually booked to stay in the Hostel but was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to their hotel on arrival. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The location was very convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area, while still being quiet and peaceful at night. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would happily recommend it to others looking for affordable, comfortable accommodation in a great location.

I was relocated to this hotel following an issue with my original accommodation at the Azuline Hotel Pacific, and I am sincerely glad for the change. The difference in quality was immediately apparent. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a member of the reception team—a professional young lady with dark hair and glasses—who was incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond by communicating directly with my previous hotel to resolve my outstanding issues swiftly and efficiently. The level of service here is exemplary and truly highlights the distinction between a four-star establishment and a three-star one. Beyond the excellent staff, the hotel boasts a prime location and high-quality dining options. I am very pleased with my stay and will certainly look to book here again in the future.

Really good price/value hotel in a good location. Clean and comfortable place with a nice rooftop pool and bar. Maybe the rooms are not super spacious but apart from that is fully recommended

Nice hotel, good location, great staff and good food. This hotel was great for our group trip. We wanted somewhere in the bay with a good sunset view. The location was great for going to the clubs on the San Antonio side of the island. The food was good especially the breakfast with a chef making fresh omelettes and eggs on request. The only negative is that tea and coffee are from a machine but we prefer fresh coffee and tea served to the tabl by the waiting staff. The beach is easily accessible just a few metres away. The hotel staff were all very good. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to the island.
Lee Greenwood★★★★★
Had a great week half board. Hotel is in a great spot near the beach and a nice walk to town. Staff super friendly and helpful. Buffet food was good, better than most all inclusives I've been to. No drinks included with evening meal. I upgraded (direct with hotel....far cheaper) to a superior sea view, and what a view it was. Well worth it. Room was really nice and cleaned everyday. There was quite a lot of sun beds reserved early and not used, which was annoying at times. Good hotel. I will return!
Taome Caville★★★★★
Fabulous hotel - Super clean & stylish interior. Staff are so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The terrace and pool area are a prime spot to soak up the sun. The hotel is located pretty well, close to the beach though around a 20 minute to to the hustle and bustle of San Antonio. Overall it's a great hotel!
Lisa Mooney★★★★☆
I have stayed at this hotel 5 times over the past 6 years. Over this time the rooms have been renovated, the downstairs bar/entertainment area has been renovated since I last stayed here. The hotel, is lovely and clean throughout all areas at all times. Since my last stay only 12 months ago, the food selection has declined significantly. So much so we only popped in for a cup of tea and the odd pastry for breakfast - even though the same staff were there as last year. The dining area itself has also had a spruce up, with new tables and chairs. I would return for the location, and the cleanliness. However I would likely do this on a bed and breakfast basis, as there are plenty of lovely local restaurants near by.
Amanda★★★☆☆
We had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel is nice and freshly renovated - everything looks brand new and very modern. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely as well. The food was quite good with enough variety to enjoy every day. A huge advantage of this hotel is the location. It is right next to a bus stop, and the Aero1 airport bus takes only around 35 minutes to get to/from the airport for just €4, which is extremely convenient. The hotel is located in a bay area, away from the noisy party centre, so it was peaceful and quiet at night, which made sleeping very comfortable. If you want nightlife and clubs, you can still reach them with a short walk. There is also a beautiful sunset spot within a 2–3 km walk. The only major downside - and unfortunately quite a significant one - was the swimming pool water temperature. The outdoor pool was extremely cold, even later in the afternoon when it should have warmed up more. Honestly, the sea felt warmer than the pool. Also, the outdoor jacuzzi was not working at all. On top of that, the hotel staff wanted to charge €25 to use the indoor pool, which honestly felt like a joke considering the outdoor facilities were not usable. Without this issue, the review would definitely have been much better.

Everything was really good, the room were clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful however the reason im giving 4 star is the AC that seems to not cool properly and outdated, the modern AC do nowadays cool the room the way it should.

Stayed for three nights. The hotel staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, helping us navigate the city, and book a taxi to the airport. Room was very clean and air conditioning worked great. In the most perfect location where you can still get sleep but walk to the strip in a matter of 5 minutes. If I come back to Ibiza, I would most definitely stay in this hotel again!

stayed in this hotel for one week and i can highly recommend it. The Hotel is located in a quiet area of the town and you can arrive for expample at the beach or the clubbing area within a 5 minute walk. Friendly Staff, nice breakfast with a big variety to chose from as well. The room service is also reliable and accurate. There is just nothing to complain about - great place to stay.

A wonderful place to stay when in San Antoni. Clean hotel with very friendly and welcoming staff. They always wanted to help and had a smile on their face 🙂 the hotel is in the perfect location. Literally 2 minutes from the bus station, about 5 minutes from the West End and about 10 from Cafe Del Mar & Mambo. This was perfect for us to enjoy exploring Ibiza by both foot and by the excellent bus service. Highly recommended and we will now always stay here when we return...

My wife and I spent just two nights here and I think this place is fantastic... great price, great staff, especially the cleaning ladies—they really care about the quality. Excellent bar and food. I recommend Jarek and Anna.

I was lucky to win 5 nights stay at this hotel all inclusive. My husband and I loved it. Food and drinks were plenty and very tasty which is rare in a all inclusive. The room was beautiful, very clean, gorgeous balcony and had a great air-conditioning system. Room was equipped with a fridge and hairdryer. Housekeeping did a great job daily. 3 pools to choose from, the adults only pool was amazing and always had beds available. Staff were very friendly and evening entertainment was great too, very family orientated. Only thing i would say is do be careful using the lifts as the door closes suddenly quite fast without letting people enough time to enter the lift, my husband got hit on the arm, he was ok but would be worried if any kids were to use the lift and get hurt. We also witness a few other people getting hit with it aswell. Hopefully come back again someday soon, honestly had a fantastic time. Can't thank yous enough, for the wonderful stay xx

Stayed at the Bergantin many times now and have always had a great time. The rooms are clean and spacious. Food is good and caters for all with themed nights. Entertainment staff are brilliant and a special mention goes to Adliet who was brilliant and keeping us entertained with the many games that we played. Another plus is the amount of sunbeds available.

We had a wonderful stay! Although it's a 3-star hotel, it exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, the adults-only pool was a great place to relax, and the location was perfect—close to everything we needed. Great value for money, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

The hotel is right by the beach, and the staff here are amazing there’s two people called isa and Andreas they are my favourite, there so nice and welcoming, there amazing. The hotel is amazing the pools are good, food is great and there’s a chef called Tyson he’s the best chef he’s so nice and cooks the best food. Definitely would recommend, I will be coming again! And they are so good with kids they help us adults so much when we want to chill.

First time in this hotel. Rooms are very good and air conditioning was working. Rooms cleaned every day. The shower was over the bath would have like a walk in shower. Food was ok for a 3 star but it does start to get boring. Drinks finished at 11pm. Entertainment daytime was very limited have seen better Entertainment. Evening Entertainment was only approximately 1 hour outside by the pool. Could hear what was been said. That's goes for all the Entertainment they need to use mics 🎤 Pool were very clean 3 pools in total. It could be quite noisy late evening groups of young lads. Jet2 rep was very helpful.

5/5 Stars – Absolutely perfect! We had an amazing stay at Hotel Base in Ibiza! The rooms were super clean and housekeeping did an awesome job every single day. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location is perfect, right in the center and close to everything. Even though the street can be a bit noisy, you don’t hear a thing inside the rooms thanks to the excellent soundproof windows we slept like babies. Honestly, everything was just perfect from the cleanliness to the service and the location. Can’t wait to come back, highly recommend this place!

Great place can’t complain about much. One issue is the noise at night from the street but honestly I slept fine and ear plugs are provided. The other issue is that the king bed is actually 2 beds put together and it kept sliding apart during our sleep. Otherwise, very clean and staff is super friendly, accommodating!!!! I enjoyed my stay overall. Located very central, just across from the port.

The positive point was the staff really lovely and professional always smiling and giving really good tips !! Nevertheless the pictures in booking and the reality were totally different. The rooms weren't that clean and the bathroom needs new work. The real problem was the noisy street, there are lot's of clubs and bars, and with the thin windows you have the impression to be in the club with the vibration of the loud music.
Jack Padley★★★★★
Very Basic, But Excellent. Exactly What We Wanted And Needed. Very No Frills But Clean And All You Need After A Night Out. Location Is Perfect, A Short Walk From The Harbour, Surrounded By Bars / Clubs / Takeaways. Despite It's Central Location You Shut The Doors And It's Silent Inside. Honestly Very Impressed. Staff Were VERY Friendly And Helpful. Would Definitely Recommend

Great modern rooms & the location was very central. The beds were very comfortable & we had no issues with the noise. The staff were friendly, helpful & upgraded us to an even better room.

Me and my partner checked in on the 18th May and checked out on the 23rd May. Couldn’t fault the rooms had everything we needed, fridge, microwave, hob, spacious bathroom, TV which we connected our Amazon prime and Netflix too. Pedro who ran the pool bar was very friendly, I asked for an umbrella as I was very burnt sat by the pool and he brought it to us straight away. Definitely recommend Flaherty’s Irish bar just a 2 minute walk around the corner was nice and fairly priced drinks. Bondi burger is the place to go for lovely burgers. We had an access card for the rooms which were on a wristband as this was very convenient and less likely to lose your room key. The pools were fresh water no chlorine so didn’t sting your eyes very cold but was nice to get into when it was 25 degrees. Sad to leave but would definitely return here if I was coming to Ibiza again! View from pool was amazing could see the sea!

Had a family emergency the day before checking in, tried to reschedule dates but hotel not at all helpful and didn't offer any kind of refund at all €800 gone. They will probably get have the room booked and make double the money.

Absolutely over the moon with this find! Clean, cool, local turn, security, Staff, pool, snack bar, atmosphere. All spot on.

Ideal for a short stay! Loved the rooftop pool and beds comfy. Aircon was on a weird timer and always turned off after an hour, but wasn’t too much of an issue being here end of season.

I came here with high expectations from what the hotel looks like online. When we arrived we were heavily disappointed. The biggest flaw about the apartment was the lack of an airconditioning. The sun was directed at our apartment the whole day, so during the day it was super muggy in our bedroom. My friend almost fainted from the heat. On top of that, the night staff from the hotel are very rude. We came in around twelve in the evening on our third night here, and weren’t allowed to walk to our room because they didn’t trust the fact that we booked a room here. They also didn’t want to check our reservation when we provided our names to them. They kept following us even though we provided them with proof of the reservation. Would definitely not recommend staying here.

The hotel was quite clean. The room had a noticeable fresh, clean smell. The bathroom was also clean, and the air conditioning worked very well. However, I think they should consider hiring more cleaning staff. Even though the rooms are only cleaned every other day, they still seem to struggle to have them ready on time. We were unable to check in at the scheduled time because our room wasn't ready, and we were told that it would only be ready around two hours after the official check-in time. Apart from this issue, everything was very good and we had no other complaints.

We had a good experience! The staff were really nice and helpful. The walls in the rooms at quite thin so can be noisy at times.

If you want to get more than an hour of sleep do not stay in this hostal. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything and everyone! The door rattles as people walk by or shut their doors and our room was dingy, musty and old. Bathroom was equally as bad, with a stained bath and weird toilet flush that didn’t work well. The pool looks nothing like the pictures - there are around 4 old shabby sun loungers and a few dirty bean bags. The pool itself is filthy with the bottom covered in dirt and the surface full of dead bugs. We were not prepared to use the pool. Also there is no lift so we had to carry out cases up 2 flights of stairs. Staff were also unhelpful and lacking in customer service skills. Also the AC was terrible! Either off or blasting out.
Jordan Hinchliffe★☆☆☆☆
Firstly the staff at reception tried to over charge us by €100 saying there was 3 of us staying (there was only ever 2 which is why we booked a double room). We were told when checking in our room wouldn’t be cleaned due to our short stay, we were happy with this. But on the day before checkout we came back to our room to find it had been cleaned, but things had gone missing. I had a nearly full bottle of aftershave (it wasn’t cheap) go missing, I informed the guy behind reception and he told me he would do his best to find out where it had gone. I heard nothing. My wallet had also gone missing which I hadn’t realised until the following morning. The staff were no help what so ever. Just a heads up, if you’re staying here make sure your personal belongings are locked away, as even if your room is locked your things still aren’t safe there. Overall a terrible experience, will not be staying here again.

I have no idea why this accommodation is rated so highly. This hostel is shockingly bad and I would never stay here again. I am so disappointed. Firstly the good bits: The service desk and staff were nice. It’s shared with M hotel. AC in the room is good. There is soap and shower gel provided in the bathroom. The balcony was nice. Breakfast is ok. It’s nothing to rave about. The bad bits: WiFi cuts out constantly There was no bin in the room There was a bin in the bathroom but it was broken There was mould and peeling wallpaper in room and mould in the bathroom The bathroom window handle looks like a biohazard. The bathroom door has no handle on inside so you can’t shut it. It’s a sliding door with no bottom tracks so it doesn’t sit correctly. There is a big water damage next to the bathroom. The elevator felt like a deathtrap. There was no kettle in room/tea making facilities. The fridge did not work well. The door to the balcony has no handle either so it’s easy to lock yourself out if you’re not careful. The worst part are the paper thin walls. Very loud doors closing all night long. It woke me up on the two nights I stayed here before I requested to move to M Hotel. Even if you’re just looking for a bed to crash in, you’re better off either in a dorm in a proper hostel or paying a little extra. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Real nice place to stay. Close to town. About a 15 minute walk. A super market 1 minute walk away. Id say the only 1 thing. Wee booked a room for 4 people. The room would be ideal for a mother and father with 2 kids. But for 4 grown men. It was a bit of a tight fit (pause) Other than that it was amazing spot to stay. All the staff was super helpful and Polite. Highly recommend. I would definitely return. The food is also amazing and well priced. Extremely good value for money. We had the hamburger. Chicken burger. Lamb chops. Ceaser salad 10 out of 10 💯💯🙌🏾🙌🏾

Nice enough room for a cheap hotel, the shower wasn’t great, couldn’t stay a constant temp. The breakfast was nice, as well as the rooftop pool, although the bartender disappeared and didn’t come back after 3/4pm which was odd. Located right in the centre of Sant Antoni, would stay here again.

Tips for Choosing the Right Hotel in San Antonio

Every traveller’s version of a perfect Ibiza holiday is different, and your accommodation should reflect that. The following practical tips will help you make a decision that suits your budget, energy levels, and expectations. By thinking carefully about location, timing, and the type of experience you want, you can avoid common disappointments and unlock a more authentic stay on the island.

Match your location to your sleep schedule. If you plan to enjoy San Antonio’s nightlife, staying within walking distance of the West End or sunset strip is incredibly convenient. However, if you value quiet nights, choose a hotel on the outskirts or in the hills. The town is small, so a ten-minute taxi ride still keeps you close to the action without the noise.

Book sunset-facing rooms early. Rooms with west-facing balconies and sea views are the most sought-after in San Antonio, and for good reason. Watching the sunset from your own private terrace is a memorable experience. These rooms sell out months in advance for summer, so reserve as soon as your dates are confirmed.

Check the pool situation. Some hotels in central San Antonio have small or shaded pools due to the dense urban layout. If lounging by a large, sun-drenched pool is a priority, look for properties on the edge of town or in nearby Cala de Bou. Always check recent guest photos to get an honest sense of the pool area size and sun exposure.

Consider the season for families and couples. July and August are lively and hot, which suits social travellers but can be overwhelming for young children or those seeking peace. May, June, and September offer a calmer atmosphere, lower prices, and sea temperatures that are still warm enough for swimming. Couples often find the shoulder seasons far more romantic.

Look beyond the room rate. Some hotels offer half-board or all-inclusive options that can save money if you plan to spend most days on-site. Others charge extra for sun loungers, parking, or even Wi-Fi. Read the fine print carefully and calculate the total cost of your stay, including what you are likely to spend on food and drinks.

Think about your beach access. While San Antonio has a sandy bay, the island’s most beautiful beaches are a short drive or boat ride away. If you want to swim in turquoise coves daily, consider a hotel that offers shuttle services or is close to bus stops and taxi ranks. Alternatively, some hillside properties have direct access to rocky swimming platforms with ladders into the sea.

Choosing where to stay is one of the most important decisions of your Ibiza trip, but it should never feel stressful. San Antonio’s compact size means that even a less-than-perfect location can still work beautifully with a little planning. The town’s real charm lies in its contrasts: the calm morning harbour, the buzzing afternoon beach clubs, and the quiet residential lanes that hide excellent local restaurants.

Ultimately, the best hotel is the one that supports the holiday you actually want, not the one that looks best on social media. Whether you are here to dance until dawn, reconnect with family, or simply watch the sun sink into the Mediterranean from your balcony, San Antonio has a place for you. Trust your instincts, prioritise what matters most to you, and let the island do the rest.
