15 Best Beach Clubs and Cafes in Marbella

A day spent by the Mediterranean calls for more than just a towel and sunscreen. In Marbella, the coastline is punctuated with stylish sanctuaries where you can trade the hot sand for a plush sunbed, a chilled glass of Rosado, and a menu that elevates beachside dining to an art form. From the glitz of the Golden Mile to the bohemian vibes of the eastern beaches, the social scene revolves around the water’s edge.

Choosing the right spot can define your entire vacation experience. Whether you are looking for a high-energy atmosphere with DJs spinning deep house until sunset, or a quiet, family-friendly cove with gentle service and fresh seafood, this stretch of the Costa del Sol has it all. It is a landscape where luxury and tradition coexist beautifully.

The key is understanding that not all beach clubs are created equal. Some cater to the international jet set with infinity pools and champagne lists, while others focus on authentic Andalusian charm with esparto grass umbrellas and grilled sardines. Your budget, your company, and your desired vibe will dictate where you should drop anchor for the day.

We have spent time analyzing the coast, assessing the quality of service, the comfort of the loungers, the culinary creativity, and the overall atmosphere. This guide is designed to help you navigate the best of Marbella’s shoreline hospitality, ensuring you find a spot that feels tailored to your specific idea of a perfect day in the sun.

From morning coffee overlooking the waves to late-night cocktails under the stars, the options are vast. We have focused on venues that offer exceptional value, impeccable service, and that distinct "Marbella magic" that keeps visitors returning year after year.

Below, you will find a curated selection of the best beach clubs and cafes that Marbella has to offer. Each entry offers a unique flavor of the Mediterranean lifestyle, ensuring that whether you are a first-time visitor or a seasoned regular, you will discover your next favorite spot by the sea.

Let’s dive into the definitive list of venues that define Marbella’s legendary beach culture.

My family of 4 (with girls ages 9 & 10) had a fantastic time at Ámmo Beach Club. The staff were attentive, friendly, and worked hard all day. The pool, hamacas, food, drinks, and overall atmosphere were the highlights for us. We especially loved seeing so many families enjoying the day together, with several birthday celebrations that created a festive atmosphere. If you’re choosing this beach club for the beach, which is easy to access by crossing the promenade, just know it’s very rocky, so we ended up spending all of our time at the pool. Overall would recommend if you want a good beach club for a special day out, with great energy and a fun, lively vibe throughout the day.

Enjoyed the vibes of the place. Its very family friednly and cozy. The food also was super tasty and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommended

Went here for a drink and ordered the avocado smoothie and an orange juice. Both were exceptionally tasty and I liked the presentation! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend!

Good food and good service (eventhough very slow), but the beds are getting old, you cant manage the sun really, bed + minimum spend brought us to pay €400,- for a day with 2 people. Vert unexpected to see the pool filled with screaming and playing kids. How is this a relaxing beachclub?
Ralf Kaiser★★★★☆
A fantastic restaurant in a beautiful location right by the beach. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a special meal. The food quality is excellent and generally justifies the higher prices. The bowl was delicious and definitely worth what we paid. One downside was the pricing of the café latte. At €5, it felt overpriced, especially since an additional €0.30 is charged for oat milk. Nowadays, many restaurants no longer charge extra for alternative milk, so this was a bit disappointing. Overall, a very good restaurant with high-quality food and a stunning seaside setting. With fairer drink pricing, the experience would be even better.

the beach club is beautiful and the food tastes amazing. the spicy mango cocktail we ordered tasted incredible. the only issue is that we were served the sushi before our starters. the music and atmosphere is really modern and enjoyable. Note: the umbrellas at the beach club dont provide full shade, only partial.(incase you need it)
Bora Topçuoğlu★★★★★
The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and quick to help whenever we needed anything. The sunbed prices were a little above average, but overall, we had a very pleasant experience.

It was my first time visiting Nosso, and I was truly impressed by the level of service and the way the staff take care of their guests. I would especially like to thank Dani, whose kindness, attentiveness, and professionalism made our experience even more enjoyable. You can really feel the attention to detail here. From serving water directly on the beach to taking care of every aspect of the guest experience, everything is done with genuine care. They even serve the water in glasses and ask whether you would like lemon—it’s these thoughtful little touches that make all the difference. The food was absolutely delicious, the beach was spotless with beautiful white sand, and I also loved the stylish design, the atmosphere, and the crowd. Everything about this place creates a relaxed yet sophisticated vibe. Nosso has definitely become one of my favorite beach clubs, and I will happily recommend it to all of my friends. I can’t wait to come back

Wonderful place! All is top - food, music, service! Book in advance , best!
Jens Christian Thordal Poulsen★☆☆☆☆
Very disappointing experience at Nosso Marbella. We had a very unpleasant situation regarding the bill. The price was increased twice, without any clear explanation as to why. When we asked to see the supporting receipts/invoices, they refused to show all of them, despite the fact that several invoices had apparently been issued with increase after increase. Instead of calmly explaining the charges and resolving the matter professionally, the situation escalated unnecessarily. Security was called, and we felt pressured and prevented from simply leaving while the dispute was ongoing - and thus forced to pay under pressure. The behaviour was, in my opinion, completely unacceptable for a venue that presents itself as high-end. A restaurant should be transparent with its billing, especially when prices are changed multiple times. Unfortunately, this experience left a very bad impression, and I would not recommend Nosso based on how this was handled.

Great experience at Oyana Beach Club and Restaurant! First off the setting is amazing, the restaurant is directly on the beach. Service was good, it was a bit slow, but our server was super friendly. The food was all delicious, the complimentary fresh bread was amazing, super soft and fluffy. The Caesar salad with added crispy chicken, and the poke bowls were yummy. The fish in the poke bowls and in my spicy tuna roll was super fresh. The crispy chicken in the salad and in one of the poke bowls was nicely breaded (not too thick, but still adds a nice crunch). The sea bass special was also tasty, the coconut sauce was very flavorful and paired nicely with the fish. Overall great experience at Oyana, would recommend!

Nice beach front restaurant with reasonably good service. The sun beds are of good quality and the menu is nice variety and you can have the food on the beach or dine on the restaurant if you wish. The service is good but the place was almost empty and once its full the service quality will be determined. The beach is clean and good.

Oyana Beach Club & Restaurant, Marbella This is simply a place you have to visit if you’re in Marbella. I could spend a long time talking about the food and drinks. The selection is extensive, the quality is excellent, and there’s something for everyone. But that’s not what makes Oyana special. The real highlight is the setting. Beautiful views, the sound of the sea, great music, and a relaxed atmosphere create an experience that is hard to describe. It’s one of those places where you naturally slow down and enjoy every moment. Yes, the service can be a little slower at times, but it’s always friendly, welcoming, and delivered with a genuine smile. On a day like this, those small imperfections are easy to forgive. I should also mention that I was invited by friends. Back home we have a saying: “Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.” In other words, don’t criticize something you’ve been given. Even so, I always try to be fair and honest in my reviews. And honestly, Oyana impressed me. Not just because of the food or the drinks, but because of its unique atmosphere. If you’re looking for a beach club in Marbella where you can truly relax and enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle, Oyana is well worth a visit.

Once again a fabulous visit. Beautiful setting, lovely service and outstanding food. Right next to the beach with stunning views and gorgeous decor and interior. Excellent service - incredibly attentive and quick. Divine food as ever - squid was beautiful. Bread and aioli to start is a must. That aioli is delicious. Beautiful cava sangria loaded with fruit to wash it down. An absolute must if staying in the area. On the pricier side but totally totally worth it.
Alex★★★★★
Everything was very fresh and tasty! Beautiful and modern place. We were there for brunch. If you want to enjoy the beach on sun beds, it’s important that you book them weeks before. The food is really delicious and good quality. Service was great, it wasn’t really that fast but still we didn’t have to wait long. There is also a parking space (outdoors). Nice atmosphere while our visit the music was low and it was perfect!

Beautiful experience, the staff are friendly and helpful with full table service (including sunbed service) , I would say this is a full beach experience, with some of the best sunbeds in Calahonda and a spectacular choice of drinks and food, the beds are €20 for the day, which is reasonable considering the class of the establishment, there are shower facilities along with beach bathrooms / disabled access bathroom also. Slightly on the higher price side, however it is worth it if you appreciate a great experience, will be visiting again soon
Rafal Szymura★★★★☆
The service was really kind, fast and very accommodating. food was awesome and they have probably the best sangria in the neighborhood. Upbeat atmosphere pumped with nice live music, which made it hard to talk. But the location is great, a sea view is stunning. I will definitely come back.
Paula Peters★★★★★
Recommend by a friend to book here as the sun beds are clean and comfy and the food excellent - we weren’t disappointed. The beach area is great, the loungers are super comfy, the food is really good and everything is reasonably priced. Where else can you reserve a decent lounger for 20€!!! The beach waiters were amazing, brilliantly attentive and worked tirelessly. Six of us booked here and totally enjoyed our day - thank you to the whole team xoxo
Maite Caballero★★★★☆
Delicious food, right on the beach. Excellent tempura prawns. A treat: bread with garlic and cheese. Very good grilled fish. Excellent coffee. More expensive than other chiringuitos.
Volker Rininsland★★★★★
This is a lovely uncrowded beach. We rented beach chairs for €10 each. It is attached to a restaurant with excellent food. You can get service to your chair and waiters come around with drinks. Parking is a little difficult, you have to park at the marina for some money. The other unpleasant thing is a continuous line of Beach vendors, but they don’t bother you much if you just say no. But they do keep coming. I highly recommend it and will come again.

What can I say. If you don‘t go here, there is little space for the others - and me😜 It is just fantastic here. If you enjoy a nice friendly and very professional service with a warm host, this is the place to be. If you value fresh good food where everybody finds his/her highlight then this place is a must. Great food and very good wine list. And if you want to eat at one of the greatest spot along the Costa del sol then don‘t miss it and book in advance as this place is rare and popular!

What an amazing restaurant. The staff, service and setting is incredible! The food was outstanding. If you’re coming to Marbella and you’re looking for a fantastic restaurant, make a reservation here! Front of house manager, forgot his name, sorry. What a great guy. We’re back in July for another week and have already booked it for a Birthday celebration. Thank you Luuma!

Fabulous food with great service. Party of 22 for dinner, easily accommodated. Staff were great and the gent on front of house had prepared two tables - inside and outside as the weather was turning cool. The two outstanding dishes were the burger and the rack of ribs, but am the food was great.

Had an amazing time at Luuma Beach Restaurant for dinner! The view and sunset were wonderful, but the food stole the show — we started with a couple of specials to kick things off. Great atmosphere, amazing service, and an all-around good time.

We love coming here to have dinner before going to Starlite for a concert. Beautifully designed restaurant with sea views and very nice service. We loved the octopus with mashed sweet potato and chorizo cramble! We'll see you soon. Pedro

This was a pit stop on our beach walk. The place looks nice and the staff were friendly. No prices on the drinks so it was a shock when we paid 10 euros for smoothie, 5 euros for a sparkling water and 5 euros for a small soft drink. Also to find they added a service charge. Needless to say this time, which is rare, I e don’t leave a tip. There is a pool, which looked lovely but we didn’t use it. If you like a beach bar, with a pool and sunbeds, then this could be for you. As loo g as you don’t mind paying

Served by Leo, 13 of us dining, we had am amazing experience. We all ordered cocktails and various drinks as well as different things, from varied and interesting menu. The staff couldn't have done enough for us. The food was fabulous, everyone enjoyed their food. There was no room for desert. Experience was excellent. Thank you to the Point!! We had such a good time x x

20€ For parking of which 10€ you can use them as discount for jet ski or water sports 50€ for 2 sunbeds 14€ for 2 towels And "service charge" 10% of the total amount you will spend. We wanted to move around 16:00 to the swimming pool area and the lady by the door informed us that we need to pay another 150€ just for the bed at the pool area which by the way was not crowded at all. The beach and the sea itself is nothing special. They want to present the beach bar as luxurious and fancy according to pricelist but in reality is just a beach bar and that makes it overpriced.

I Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience tonight and, with regret, I’m leaving 1 star. Starting with the positives, the venue itself is very nice, aesthetic, stylish and has a great atmosphere visually. “Luxurious,” though? I personally wouldn’t go that far. It felt similar to many beach clubs you can find around Marbella or other Mediterranean seaside destinations. The entrance was quite expensive at €70 per person. If you see many positive reviews from women, is because they are asking from girls to leave a five star review so they can get inside for free!!! Later in the evening, we went to the back area of the club and, when we tried to come back inside, there was a queue. We waited patiently for over 10 minutes. When we reached the front, several other people were allowed in ahead of us. I eventually asked, “Excuse me, what about us?” The woman at the door laughed and responded sarcastically, “Do you have VIP? No. They have priority. You need this (showing me her lanyard) to be VIP. You don’t have that!” I genuinely didn’t know that was the system, so I simply said, “Oh okay, sorry, I didn’t know.” She then looked at her colleague and they both laughed. It was unnecessarily rude and made us feel quite uncomfortable. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the worst part. Later, a waiter was walking through the crowd carrying a large ice bucket/box with bottles of Belvedere inside. As he passed me, he hit me quite hard on the head with it. It was painful and left me feeling dizzy. I looked at him and asked what he was doing, especially as he hadn’t even apologised. He simply looked at me and walked away. For reference, a basic spirit with a soft drink was around €20. Crazy expensive for no reason. I genuinely tried to enjoy the night. We stayed for more than five hours, listened to the music and tried to make the most of it, but unfortunately almost every interaction I had with the staff left a bad impression. For a venue charging these kinds of prices, basic courtesy and customer service should not depend on whether somebody has a VIP table or a standard entrance ticket. Whether someone spends €70 at the door or hundreds of euros on a table, they are still a paying customer and deserve to be treated with respect. Beautiful venue, but based on the way we were treated, I unfortunately wouldn’t return.
Abdullah Assiri★★★★★
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The first impression was outstanding, and the warm reception immediately set the tone for a memorable dining experience. As soon as we walked in, we were impressed by the spacious layout, elegant design, and beautiful atmosphere. This place always finds a way to surprise us, and every visit feels even better than the last. Then came the food. Every single dish we ordered was absolutely delicious—without a doubt some of the best food we’ve had. The quality, presentation, and flavors were exceptional. What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is its people. While the food, hospitality, and overall service are all outstanding, the biggest strength of this place is the staff. A special thank you to Miguel, who was simply exceptional. He didn’t just take great care of our table—he personally made sure every guest in the restaurant was receiving excellent service. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care created an unforgettable experience. We’ll definitely be back, and we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. 5 stars without hesitation!
Kata Faragó★☆☆☆☆
Unfortunately, we ended up paying a very expensive price for the lesson at this place, just like so many others. 😡 I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. It was one of the worst experiences of my life! You can be sure they’ll rip you off. We ordered one calamari, but they charged us for two. 😡 Everything is ridiculously overpriced. An Aperol costs €25, and I won’t even mention the prices of everything else. 🤷🏼‍♀️ They’re only interested in taking your money, and they even mislead their customers. They tell you that you’re required to spend a minimum of €70 per person plus sunbed, but what they conveniently forget to mention is that the kitchen closes at 6:00 p.m. (this was on a Thursday). As a result, we were forced to order more drinks just so we wouldn’t lose the money we had already committed to spending, because we couldn’t order any more food. They were completely inflexible. When we found out the kitchen was closed, they weren’t even willing to prepare a simple fruit platter, which would have taken about five minutes. The service is low-quality and feels like a tourist trap. There is absolutely no empathy, and they try to project a luxury image in the middle of nowhere. It’s simply a place that burns through your money. Never again!!
M C★★★☆☆
Nice venue, decor and sun loungers. Lovely front of house staff. Shocking (and I mean shocking) waiter service. Utterly useless. Having spent my Saturday day there, the whole day I had to chase them for everything I had asked for. Chase to be served, chase for where my order was, chase again. Unbelievably slow, inefficient and lack lustre (aside from one blonde haired guy who seemed to be British?) otherwise most the male waiters were honestly shockingly useless. It put a real dampener on the day. Especially considering it was so quiet so there was no excuse. It was also extortionate for what it was, so be prepared. I’d perhaps not care as much if it wasn’t such poor service. Settings surrounding the venue are also a bit rough and run down. Apparently Sundays are meant to be more of a vibe but not sure I’d recommend this one considering the huge amount of competition.
Rosalinda Torres★☆☆☆☆
Not a luxury experience for the cost. We rented a “VIP bed” for 500€ for the day but it took about 20 min from the time we were seated to be served. The beach itself is not very nice at all but at least the staff prevented vendors from coming in and bothering us. The service after that improved but then we were given a 10 minute warning before the kitchen was closed and craft cocktails were no longer offered. We still had 120€ euros left to be consumed for two people and didn’t know what to spend it on so we asked for a couple minutes to decide and the server disappears for 20 minutes helping all the other beds close out their tabs before returning. Upon returning he tells us we can no longer order food or cocktails, only combinación drinks. After having to argue about being able to spend our money, I finally got them to let us order two overpriced 100€ pitchers of margaritas. And then on top of that they charge a 50€ service charge. We stayed and finished our drinks during the Boho Sunday party but were honestly better off just sitting on the beach bed because the bouncers don’t let you into the dance floor area unless you have a VIP wrist band. My friend walked right in but then I got stopped so we finished our drinks, danced for ten minutes outside of the building and then left. On top of everything, the bathrooms are awful, not a luxurious experience like I’ve had at other beach clubs around Europe in Mykonos, Positano, Lisbon etc. The line took forever while the bouncers let people slip ahead if they tipped them, and they weren’t even discrete about it. I live in Madrid and have also visited another of this restaurant group’s locations, Sixtyone, which also was a terrible experience. I thought maybe that location had some kinks to work out but it’s clear this is just how this company does business. This brand wants to market itself as a luxurious experience but it’s essentially just a lot of marketing and broke influencers trying to make it seem cooler than it actually is. I have friends visiting Marbella next week and I already told them to stay away from here and go to La Cabane instead - an actual luxury beach club experience with excellent service for the same cost.

We came here for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish, with a beautiful setting and a great beach club vibe. The food was delicious, and it wasn’t overcrowded during our visit, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. What we especially appreciated was that we never felt rushed. Even after we had finished our meal, we stayed for another 1.5 hours, and the staff let us enjoy our time without constantly asking if we wanted to order more. It created a very welcoming and laid-back atmosphere. As part of the hotel complex, the beach club also offers massages on the beach. We all booked the 15-minute express massage, and it was the perfect way to finish our visit. It was incredibly relaxing and completed an already fantastic afternoon. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it for a relaxed lunch by the beach.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING ! The best service! Great food and drink! The place is so beautiful! I cannot wait to return. I felt so looked after and safe , especially from the the waiters at the beach club. Authentic Paella by the Sea – A Must-Try in Marbella! I had the pleasure of enjoying a truly delicious, authentic Paella at a beach club in Marbella – and it was everything I hoped for. The rice was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and generously topped with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere right by the sea made the experience even more special – relaxing, stylish, and truly Mediterranean. What really stood out was the attentive and friendly service – the staff made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. If you’re in Marbella and craving real Spanish Paella with a view, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Overall disappointed by the service. We systematically had to wait 20-30 minutes every time we called the waiters to be attended. The food was very mid, and the waiters didn’t bother to take away the dishes. They stayed there sitting on our sunbeds for an hour even though the waiters passed by multiple times. Also the waiters never told us that the kitchen would close in the afternoon, we figured it out only when we asked for food, we then had to wait over an hour for the kitchen to open up again to order. For a $300 day-pass I was expecting a better service. Not recommended.

We had a fantastic time at Asurre Beach in Costalita. It's the perfect place to enjoy a little touch of luxury on the beach in Estepona. The sunbeds are incredibly comfortable, the location right by the sea is beautiful, and the music creates a relaxing, stylish atmosphere. The service was outstanding, and we would especially like to thank Lara for her kindness, professionalism, and warm smile. She made us feel truly welcome and looked after us throughout our visit. If you're looking for a beautiful beach club with great vibes, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere, Asurre Beach is definitely worth a visit. We can't wait to come back!

We visited the beach bar. It’s beautiful and clean. It would say the stuff are not perfect and i give 4 out of 5 to them. But the cocktails are perfection and the limited food options are also amazing. It’s a bit pricey compared with other places around but definitely worth it. I would like to go there again and again:)

We wanted to enjoy a relaxing afternoon coffee. The drink menus were brought to us, and then we waited a full 15 minutes without anyone seeming to care whether we wanted to order anything. It wasn't even crowded, so the waiters didn't have time to take us. We decided to leave because that's unacceptable service.

We had an amazing experience at METT Hotel Marbella – Estepona. The hotel is beautifully designed, with a stylish and relaxing atmosphere, and its beachfront location makes it even more special. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast offered a great variety of fresh, high-quality options, and the restaurants served delicious food. The pool area and beach facilities were excellent, providing the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable getaway on the Costa del Sol. We would definitely return and highly recommend it.

the food is amazing, the vibes are amazing, honestly the only downside is it took easily 20min for the food to arrive, but you can chill around so it's okay

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a lovely spot. We stumbled upon Sirko Beach and were so glad we did. The food was genuinely amazing, fresh, full of flavour, and just hit the spot. The place has such a calm and relaxed vibe, not overcrowded at all. There was a DJ playing smooth tunes and a guy on the guitar that brought such a nice energy to the evening. It felt special and effortless. Definitely a new favourite.

We had a couple of sunbeds on a Sunday as well as a table for lunch. Staff are very friendly but despite the restaurant not being anywhere near full, the service was very slow. We had to wait 30mins before we could order food, wine came after the starters, it was just difficult to get the servers attention. Sunbed service was great and their cocktails are amazing (but with a price to match). Singer was OK but I suspect that Saturday sessions are more fun. Considering their prices, we were hoping for a better experience.

We had our post wedding lunch here with our 76 guests. Our family and friends thought they were just going to have a "normal" lunch at the beach. They were so surprised it turned out to be a big party! Nazareth from the Events department took care of everything and it looked great: the flowers on the long tables, the food was looking and tasting fantastic, the waiters were the best and off course: Annya, Magasax, Pelu Sanchez and DJ Dan were making a big party out of it! We had such a good time, we wanted to spend an hour longer and Nazareth informed the Coach company to come an hour later. It was the perfect ending of our wedding days. We couldn't have asked for more.

Dune Beach Marbella is absolutely spectacular, but the most memorable part of our visit was Frederick. He welcomed us with such warmth and gave us incredible recommendations that made the whole experience unforgettable. The food is simply delicious. If you visit, don’t miss lunch or dinner here, and definitely order the pink prawns — they may very well be the best prawns you’ll ever have in your life. The artichokes were also outstanding. Even the wine was spectacular. What makes this place special is not just the beautiful beach setting, but the entire atmosphere. Trust Frederick’s recommendations, go with the flow, enjoy the moment, and let yourself be surprised. A truly wonderful experience that we will remember for a long time.

Could not recommend this beach club more! This was my second visit and it did not disappoint, if not excelled my visit last year. I have not yet eaten in the restaurant (which I definitely will one day) but used the sun loungers on the beach. There’s a lot of competition on this stretch of beach with Nossa, Bono, Luuma and the more local ones but this is by far the chicest. It’s definitely the more relaxed one with new, premium sun loungers and set up. Drinks menu is a delight and beach snack options are excellent. But what made my recent trip so enjoyable was the service. From entering to leaving - staff are utterly fantastic. Front of house is incredibly friendly, helpful and go out of their way to accomodate you. But Nico my waiter on the beach was brilliant. An excellent waiter with the perfect personality to make you feel welcome and relaxed. Nothing was a chore, he went an above expectations and was a delight to be served by. When I return to Marbella, I will always return here. Bit of advice is to ensure you book sun loungers in advance as it does get booked up!

Really beautifull beach club, food was amazing. Best burger we ever had, we order it twice haha, could not leave without trying again on the same day. Our waiter ‘Ayelen’ was so lovely🙏🏼, DJ playing relaxed music, not to loud. Everything was perfect. Good vibes, good food, good people

Had a lovely day at Dune Beachclub! The service and vibes are amazing at this beautiful location. The food is a 10/10 with the best recommendations from the friendly staff. We would like to express our special thanks to Nico our beach waiter. He is a very kind and happy soul who made our day more then great. You must visit here, you won’t regret. Hasta luego, Ruby & David

I usually stay at any beach for 3-4 hours, but today I broke that record staying for 8 hours. That is because the staff, food, drinks and atmosphere were excellent! The food and drinks were delicious and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Alen was awesome! He is a hard worker and super friendly. The location is outstanding and the restaurant and beach area were fantastic. Next time I visit Marbella, I will spend another day at Dune! Well done!

Food is amazing, staff is lovely, and their cosy & stylish space sits in an idyllic location ⛱️ 🌊 I could recommend absolutely everything from the menu; and they also have a very nice 🍷 selection. Price, in my opinion, is 💯 fair (for all of the reasons mentioned above 😊). Every Sunday, and maybe more often in summer, they offer live, quality music. The Beach House is perfect for couples, solo visitors and/or groups, and finding a parking spot is usually easy (not during the summer, though). My husband and I are totally in love with their traditional fish pie... it is sooo delicious 😋

The food served on the Sunday brunch was very good, however the service was not top class. No one asked if we wanted coffee and it took too long time before the plates were clearad from our table.

The new menu items are delicious - we enjoyed each and every one of them! Compliments to the chef and team who created this! We look forward to trying other dishes on our next visit!

Hours say open until 7pm, we walked along the front to go here for a drink and some snacks. Other people were sat having drinks and olives, their drinks were full so clearly just ordered. We picked a table to then be told they were closed. I’m not sure if the hours are wrong - close at 6pm and not 7pm? We got there at 6.03pm, or whether they decided just not to serve us. It was very unusual and not what you’d expect for this kind of business.

We have hosted our InterNations Marbella networking event at Alabardero Beach Club for the third year in a row, and once again it was a fantastic evening. The location right on the Paseo Maritimo is simply unbeatable, with beautiful sea views and the sunset as a backdrop. The team, especially Lucia, is always professional, flexible and easy to work with. The atmosphere is relaxed, the space works perfectly for a standing networking event, and our international guests love it every time. Highly recommended for any kind of event on the Costa del Sol.

This is a lovely place to enjoy lunch if you’re looking for a relaxing atmosphere. Sitting by the sea, listening to the sound of the waves while enjoying a drink, is definitely the highlight of the experience. The drinks were very good, and the staff were polite and friendly throughout our visit. We shared the paella, but unfortunately it was quite disappointing. It wasn’t bad, but it lacked flavor and felt rather ordinary. Considering the beautiful location and the overall atmosphere, we expected much more from such a classic Spanish dish. The prices are a little on the expensive side, so the food didn’t quite justify the cost. While the service was pleasant, it didn’t stand out in any particular way. Overall, this is a nice place to relax with a drink and enjoy the beautiful seaside setting. However, if you’re visiting primarily for the food, there are probably better options nearby

This is one of the best waterfront locations in Marbella, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The views are absolutely stunning, the vibes are incredible and the food is amazing. It’s the perfect place to chill on your holiday. We had a few starters and drinks that were served very fast. After that we ordered the vegetarian paella and the seafood paella which was one of the best. Our server was also very courteous and fun loving guy. Highly recommend this place for a great time. Great value for money too!

Prime location. Excellent place. Lovely wait staff. Superb cellar. Great atmosphere. The food lets it down. Good quality ingredients being either being pre cooked and re heated or left standing way too long. Something not right in the kitchen. Large tables not served all together. Mains arriving before starters. This could easily become the best place on the entire front. If it were mine, I'd fire the entire kitchen.

If you’re in Marbella for San Juan Night, book a table here, you will not regret it. The beachfront setting is beautiful, with one of our favorite stretches of sand that we visited during our time in Marbella. What started as dinner turned into one of our favorite nights in Spain. As the evening went on, the beach filled with families, music, bonfires, lanterns, fireworks and kids playing soccer in the sand. It felt festive, authentic, and incredibly welcoming. The menu was outstanding! Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious. The service was great, the drinks were excellent, the music was fantastic and the atmosphere was happy and relaxed. We never felt rushed and were able to enjoy the entire celebration as it unfolded around us. Watching San Juan with our daughters (ages 9 and 10) is something we’ll always remember. A truly special night in Marbella.

We had the most wonderful time here with our twins. The atmosphere, food, and customer service were all absolutely outstanding. I could write so much more, but the best way to sum up our experience is simply this: this is our favourite restaurant in Marbella! We loved every moment and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the entire team for making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back again very soon. Warm regards, Ash, Steve & Family

Loud, lively, so much fun, and still delicious. Its hard to believe such high quality of food can be delivered, when there are so many tables to cover - but somehow they do it. Every dish delicious. Every member of staff is polite, efficient, friendly and fun. The entertainment is always top class. If you like good food, good music, fun and a good dance - a BeachHouse Sunday is a must. See you next year. Px

Beautiful setting and relaxed atmosphere at The Beach House Marbella 🌊 I had the chicken burger with sweet potato fries and it was genuinely very good — flavorful, well cooked, and generous. The quality of the ingredients really comes through. Service was friendly and the overall vibe is great for a beachside lunch or dinner. However, be careful with the extras. The bread and olives served at the beginning are added to the bill without clearly informing you, and the tip is automatically included as an additional line at the end. That’s not something I particularly appreciate — transparency would definitely improve the experience. Overall, good food and a lovely location, just make sure to check your bill.

The biggest selling point of Mistral Beach is undoubtedly the location. Sitting right in front of the sea with beautiful views and the sound of the waves makes for a very relaxing atmosphere. If you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy the beach while having lunch or a drink, the setting is hard to beat. That said, I honestly felt like you’re paying much more for the view than for the food itself. The prices are quite high, yet the quality didn’t really justify them. I ordered a salad, and while it looked fresh enough, it was fairly basic and lacked flavor. It wasn’t bad, but it certainly wasn’t memorable, especially considering what it cost. The service was polite and efficient, and the atmosphere is pleasant if you don’t mind the beach club vibe. However, from a food perspective, I expected much more. There are plenty of places where you can eat better for the same price—or even less. Overall, it’s a nice place if your priority is enjoying the seaside scenery and spending a relaxing afternoon by the water. Just keep your expectations realistic when it comes to the food. In my opinion, you’re mainly paying for the beachfront location rather than the culinary experience itself.

Service was great (waiter Harrison especially). We were 2 visitors without booking. It was busy but they managed to find us a double bed (€70) a bit pricey but comfy. We ordered a penne Arabiata (too much garlic) and a chicken salad (lovely). Good experience overall. ♦️Note: for swimmers the sea shore is not ideal. Full of hard pebble, dark sand and tons of algae. Not even fun for water dipping.
Vanja Stantic★★★★★
Superb place. After waiting staff approach you(might take some moments), service is very prompt. Drinks arrived really fast along the bread service. The main dishes were prepared in a timely manner, I can even say faster than expected. Food was delicious, steak, sushi, dessert were just great. Steak is placed on the hot stone, and it remains hot till you finish it. You can even cook your steak on it in case if it comes undercooked. Javier the server was amazing, thank you buddy. The place has its own sun chairs and you can enjoy the moment listening to the waves. Overall great place to dine in. Prices are affordable, for having a 500g ribeye that is very very fair price.
Luli★★★★★
We ordered the grilled octopus and grilled sardines, and I have to say the octopus was the best we’ve had so far. The atmosphere was great, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place worth visiting.
Layal Alshmassi★★★★☆
We went to Mistral Beach for last-minute plans. The beach was packed and we barely found any chairs, but we made do. The beach itself wasn’t the best — plenty of seaweed — but the restaurant completely made up for it. Even during peak lunch time with every table full, the service was spot-on and the food was excellent. The paella was especially impressive; not many restaurants get it right the way we like it, but they gladly made it exactly as we asked. Thank you so much — we’ll be back next year for the restaurant! 👏🏻

How to Choose the Perfect Spot

Before you make a reservation or simply walk in off the promenade, it is wise to consider a few practical details that can make or break your beach club experience. The most popular venues, especially during July and August, are often fully booked days in advance, and the pricing structures can vary dramatically depending on the season and the location of the bed. Here is what you need to know to navigate the scene like a local.

Book Ahead, Especially on Weekends
Marbella’s beach clubs are incredibly popular, and front-row sunbeds are prime real estate. If you have your heart set on a specific club, especially larger venues like Ocean Club or Nikki Beach, you should reserve your beds or tables several days in advance. Walk-ins are possible on weekdays or in the shoulder season, but you risk being turned away or left with the least desirable spots at the back.

Understand the Pricing Structure
Most upscale clubs operate on a minimum spend or a flat rental fee for sunbeds. A standard sunbed can range from €20 to €50, while VIP Balinese beds or private cabanas can easily cost several hundred euros. However, in many venues, this fee is often credited toward your food and drink consumption. Always clarify with the host whether the price is a flat rental or a consumable minimum before you sit down.

Check the Music Policy
The auditory atmosphere varies wildly from one end of the coast to the other. If you are looking for tranquility and the sound of the waves, avoid the big "party" clubs on weekends, which often feature loud DJs from midday. Conversely, if you want a vibrant party scene, research which clubs have resident DJs on the day you plan to visit. Cafes and chiringuitos generally offer a much more relaxed, background-music vibe.

Consider the Sand vs. Pool Dynamic
While the beach is the main draw, many of the larger clubs feature expansive infinity pools. If you are visiting with children or if you simply dislike sand sticking to your sunscreen, a venue with a high-quality pool area might be preferable. Note that poolside beds often command a higher price than those on the sand. For a truly authentic experience, however, a bed directly on the sand at a traditional chiringuito is hard to beat.

Look Beyond the Golden Mile
While the stretch west of Marbella center is famous for its glamour, exploring the areas east toward Los Monteros or west toward San Pedro can yield hidden gems. These locations often offer better value for money, less crowding, and a more authentic local atmosphere. Don’t be afraid to walk along the Paseo Marítimo and check menus and bed availability before committing; sometimes the spontaneous discovery is the best one.

Marbella’s coastline offers a diverse tapestry of experiences that cater to every type of traveler. Whether you choose the high-octane glamour of a world-famous club or the rustic charm of a family-run cafe, the common denominator is always the stunning Mediterranean backdrop. The salt air, the warm sun, and the Andalusian hospitality ensure that your time by the water is memorable.

Ultimately, the best way to experience Marbella is to match your venue to your mood. Don’t be afraid to mix it up—spend one day indulging in a luxury spa and pool day, and the next day keeping it simple with your feet in the sand and a plate of boquerones in front of you. That contrast is what makes this destination so uniquely captivating.
