15 Best Affordable Restaurants in Bayeux

Bayeux may be world-famous for its medieval tapestry and rich Norman history, but you do not need a royal budget to eat well here. Beyond the half-timbered houses and the shadow of the majestic cathedral, the city hides a vibrant culinary scene that caters to locals, students, and savvy travelers alike. The key to eating affordably in Bayeux is knowing where to step away from the main tourist arteries and follow the locals.

While Normandy is renowned for its rich, creamy sauces and fresh seafood, enjoying these regional delicacies doesn’t have to mean a three-course, white-tablecloth affair every night. Many of the city’s bistros, crêperies, and brasseries offer fixed-price lunch menus that deliver exceptional value without compromising on the authentic flavors of the region. These are the spots where you can taste the terroir while keeping your travel budget firmly intact.

Navigating the dining scene in a historic tourist hub can often lead to inflated prices and mediocre quality. However, Bayeux maintains a proud tradition of hospitality that values substance over style. From bustling sandwich shops serving freshly baked baguettes to cozy eateries plating up hearty galettes, there is a wealth of options designed to satisfy your hunger without emptying your wallet.

This guide focuses on the establishments that balance cost, quality, and atmosphere perfectly. Whether you are looking for a quick bite between museum visits or a leisurely dinner after exploring the D-Day beaches, you will find something to suit your palate. We have prioritized places that use fresh, local ingredients and offer that warm, welcoming service Normandy is known for.

To help you plan your culinary itinerary, we have curated a list of the most reliable and delicious budget-friendly spots in the city. These restaurants prove that you can enjoy the best of French cuisine while adhering to a modest daily spending limit.

We were looking for someplace in Bayeux where we could get a salad so I searched on Google for “salad” and found nice photos and ratings for this place. That said, I would give the moyenne salad with jambon or saumon 3 stars. The quiche and salad combo was better at 4 stars. It was raining when we arrived into Bayeux mid-week and many visitors were running about looking for tables at restaurants. We were lucky to score seating for 3. The service is delightful and the team of 2 greeted, took orders, served, cleaned, made drinks, etc for the whole restaurant. So impressive. And the environment is so playful and fun.

A quite small, but nevertheless very charming bistro. Food quality was first class, all ingredients were fresh and tasty. The owner is very nice and warm-hearted, prices are also okay in relation to quantity and quality. Location is in the immediate vicinity of the Bayeux cathedral which also offers a nice outlook. Full recommendation!

Chez Paulette is absolutely delightful! Such a cozy and charming space, with a fabulous selection of teas and other beverages. My English Breakfast was served in the cutest elephant teapot - day made. And the service is great, too 🙂

This is a local Creperie, SUCH A GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. Yet it doesn’t feel cheap when you enter, rather it feels truly authentic. The crepe’s were juicy, fleshy, you had something to chew at the back of your teeth. I really liked it. The prices are incredible when you come from paris or else: The waitresses were welcoming, we took some crêpe with chestnut, a flamed one, a beurre sucre, the local Coca Cola. Everything was truly amazing! Thank you for being patient with us. The toilets are clean and accessible.
Denitsa Encheva★★★★★
Very nice restaurant with enough choice of galettes and crepes but not too many so it feels overwhelming. Everything we tried was delicious, the service was really fast and friendly as well. We enjoyed our lunch very much, definitely worth the visit if you are lucky to find a table.
Sharon Lee★★★★★
I thought since this creperie was featured in Lonely Planet that it would be filled with tourists. I was pleasantly surprised that it was filled with French clients. It's only 9.50 euro for the lunch menu which includes savory complet crepe, a dessert crepe, and a drink. What a bargain! I came 15 minutes before the lunch menu ended on a weekday, and there was no wait.
Pauline H★★★★★
A little crêperie in Bayeux, you will have to reserve a table beforehand as it got full quickly as soon as we arrived, it got so busy at one point the chef had to serve dishes himself.., The service was very good, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Delicious galette and crepe reasonably priced. I would go back again if in the area again next time.
Ralph Berry★★★★★
We had been to quite a few crepe restaurants on our Bayeux visit, but had been waiting for this one due to its reviews. It did not disappoint. Better space and ambiance that most of the other restaurants and really, really excellent crepes. First of all the choices were extensive. Much lighter and a much more flavorful crepe itself. Both of our crepes were filled generously as was our dessert crepe. My wife also had a very nice glass of wine and I had a beer. Both cold and flavorful. This is one of those reviews in which I don’t have a lot to say because everything was well done. Great location, warm environment, perfect service and excellent food. I guess that is all I can ask for. If in Bayeux and looking for a crepe restaurant, this would be my first choice.

Undoubtedly THE BEST food I had in France during my stay here. If ur passing by bayuex,u have to try this place at least once, we got the 3 course lunch menu, and every dish is a hit, one of the best fine dining restaurant dishes I had, and servers attitude is really good too, and can speak very good English if u don’t know French!

We booked a table for 2030hrs and still had to wait to be seated for 30 mins. Whilst waiting the lady waitress was thoughtfull enough to give us menus. For this inconvenience the lady waitress had our first drinks on them which was nice. Understandable since it was rainy earlier so people couldn't sit outside. We were sat downstairs by the door. The staff did ask if I prefer to have the door shut if too cold. Food was delicious. And the menue was lovely colours as shows by the photos. Lovely place. Book in advance. Parking after certain time in the evening is free in nearby car parks. Staff value customer service for sure. Although, the staff upstairs didn't seem as friendly and didn't say anything to us whilst initially we waited for a table upstairs. Walked past several times and if ignored us. I do recommend this place overall. Lively atmosphere but not loud.

One of the best restaurant in town! Menu is not so wide, but perfect enough to choose. And menu is changing every week. Great service, traditional local food, even non gluten options. I have enjoyed dinner with my family in very nice atmosphere with additional glass of Champaigne. I very recommend this restaurant for travellers and explorers new places. Staying 3 nigjts in this town, I have automatically reserved our dinner table for another dinner...
Eugene Roy★★★★★
Food so good I cancelled my dinner reservation at another restaurant to come back here. I was born in Paris and was lucky enough to travel all over the world. Paris, Tokyo, London, Hanoi. Done a bunch of Michelin starred restaurants as well. This is by far one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been. Top 5 and better than any restaurant I know in Paris. Service is great, staff is really friendly though the first time I came they took some time to get my order. The food though is beautifully presented, extremely savory and fairly creative and inspired. It’s not molecular gastronomy by any means but it’s “classic” dishes that are extremely well made. The chicken breast I had for lunch was cooked to perfection. Moist and savory on a bed of mash. For dinner I had the salmon which was also perfect cooked, nice and translucent in the middle with a herby crust and some fresh herbs on top. Individual dishes are a bit on the smaller side so make sure you get some starters. The desserts are also delicious I was very very surprised with the coconut sorbet on a crispy biscuit which wasn’t too sweet. The Pims is very good but not my style (not a fan of orange). I’m being extremely honest when I say that the composition and taste is Michelin level here. The gyozas are so so, still tasty but it’s obviously not a Japanese restaurant so don’t get them in the first place. Overall not a single miss, everything was great. I will definitely come to Baye ux from Paris at least once every 2-3 months as the menu is seasonal and changes regularly. I hope it stays open for a long time.
Allen Ray★★★★★
Bonbonne is an amazing French Restaurant in Bayeux, France. The service was extraordinary and appropriately attentive! They allowed us to have the flatbread dinner serving as an appetizer for the table. Not a morsel was left. The salmon appetizer as well as the filet were outstanding. It was the first night for their linguine with pork belly and it was as good as we have had anywhere. The wines paired beautifully with our meals. The prices for such great tasting food were surprisingly affordable! They even had the entire restaurant singing happy birthday in French while clapping in unison. The evening was genuinely one of the best experiences we've had in France.

We happened upon this place while looking for a place to eat at 5:30 pm when most places were either closing or not yet open for dinner service. The lady serving us spoke English, was patient taking specific orders of the children and she very quickly cooked the orders up and served. A huge fresh baguette sandwich with fries on the side ( and inside the sandwich) . Soft drinks were about 2.50 - 3.00 Euro. Great value!

Delicious burger and fries. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent burger that was juicy/full of flavour. Chips were fresh, hot and crispy. Woman working place was friendly. Big plus of still serving food while other places are closed for lunch

I was walking through Bayeux, right at 7 pm when the cafes and restaurants open for dinner, when I saw this place. The lady was very nice and patient with my poor French. She spoke English just fine but I think she let me practice, but I easily could have ordered everything in English. As for the food, I ordered a ham and cheese crepe. The cheese was Swiss, I think, and the ham was quality. She brought it out right off the grill. It was so fresh and hot. After I finished, she brought out the Nutella crepe that I had ordered. Small detail, but having the second crepe come out fresh and after I finished the second was such a fabulous style. That wouldn't happen in the states. It was also awesome to sit on the patio outside and watch people. The canopy also came in handy for the rain. I recommend this place. The menu and flavors are simple, but that simplicity can be great for visitors, especially kids, and the price was cheap.

We had a lovely Plat du Jour lunch here today. The service was very good and the food was delicious. Thoroughly recommended.

Le P’tit Resto offers a pleasant and comfortable dining experience, though it stops short of being particularly memorable. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, making it an easy place to enjoy a calm meal. The staff was consistently friendly and welcoming, contributing positively to the overall experience. As for the food, it was well-prepared and enjoyable, but relatively simple in execution. Nothing was off or disappointing, but it did not stand out, especially when compared to some of the more refined and inventive meals we experienced elsewhere in Paris. Overall, this is a solid choice if you are looking for a low-key, reliable meal in a welcoming setting. Just do not expect anything especially distinctive or elevated.
Maša Orelj★★★★★
Before even trying the food, we were very impressed by the warm and kind service. The food was an experience. We ordered a three-course dinner and really enjoyed every dish. Although the choices were limited and we are eaters with many requests, finding an option for everyone was not a problem at all. My father's first response when tasting the food was: "Oh là là!"

This was an outstanding restaurant that provided exceptional service and food. Our group of nearly 20 had eaten all throughout the city and this was our favorite. The waitress was fast, efficient, and spoke great English (for which we were grateful but did not expect). Highly recommend.

We went for a simple breakfast after a morning walk through Bayeux. They open early, and the proprietor is cheerful and helpful. The coffee was strong and flavorful, the hot chocolot was rich, delicious, and not too sweet. They also served the best croissants we ate in France. If you're in Bayeux put Le Phil Rouge on the top of your list.
Walker Wright★★★★★
Really good brunch, genuine crepes, and croque monsieur! Friendly service as well

After a day of sightseeing we came back to Bayeux knowing many restaurants would be closed. We happened across The Phil Rouge and stopped for a bite at about 20.00 when they close at 22.00 The young waiter was pleasant and we were informed there were no poke bowls whilst being seated. We ordered two Chicken Burgers with fries only then to be told they had run out of fries (cooked fres they say) so we're offered salads. Burgers were precooked and pre made just heated and salad was little more than leaves and shredded carrot. This is basic food which may or may not be available. We were informed the chips are cooked in the morning and if they run out it's tough, they will not make more. Unless you are desperate I wouldn't bother, others after us walked in and straight out. We were even charged for the Salad we didn't even order or want.

We spent a night in Bayeux and we just walking around town and happen to find this restaurant. We went in an immediately got a table. It was a very cute place. The service was very good and friendly. The food was very good, came out hot, fresh, and presented very well. Most importantly the food was very tasty. If you are in the area I would strongly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious and great service. We had the bruschetta and then the cheese burger which was so good, as well as the chips that came with it. Merci!

Extremely delicious burgers. Very impressive. Also had the duck breast with peppercorn sauce. 👍🏼

The Normand burger was great. But the andoulli sausage in my opinion did not smell or taste good. It reminded me of the way a goat or horse smells. I took off the sausage and the burger was fantastic. The staff was friendly. My only complaint was the sausage in the burger. Maybe I should have known....but I did not.

Good food for a Sunday evening when everything else around is closed. The chicken is ordered was dry and had no flavor. Kids ordered toast with avocado and salmon and was tasty so was their deserts. Should have ordered Mussels as they looked tasty

We had two good meals here for dinner. Although one waiter was brusque the first night, the manager (Marian) and second waiter (Maxim) were great. We enjoyed both the food and the desserts. It is the custom for many restaurants with tight staffing to pay at the front, and once we figured that out things were quick.
Mark Liu★★★☆☆
After seeing some of the warning of ham and other dishes, I have decided to try something different Onion soup - If you crave for Onion de gratin, then order it. The soup is thicker and the a bit salty but that's pretty standard French style. The cheese was shredded and not shaved so texture is different even heated in the oven. Croque Monsieur - don't let the picture fool you, it's not over spilled with cheese. However the taste wasn't bad. The baked cheese on the photo misled me thinking it's covered and overflow with cheese. Not really.
Jason★★★★☆
Not busy when I arrived but didn't take long before it started to fill up, I didnt reserve as there were plenty of availability. The food was nice and tasty and the Profiterole was very tasty. It seems that France still allows smoking outside so there were quite a lot of smokers present, myself and a few others moved and if this is an issue you would be best sitting inside.
Jane Brown★★☆☆☆
The service today was terrible and the food not much better. We ordered 2 beers, water, 6 oysters to share and the plat du jour, sausages. The beer arrived within a reasonable time but the oysters took 20 minutes, the plat du jour arrive 1 hour after placing the order. 1 hour for lumpy mashed potato, green beans, peas which weren’t fully cooked and one sausage, cut up and arranged to look more. The only saving grace was that it was served on hot plates. Other people were given water but ours never arrived. The man serving us seemed very disinterested in us, brushed us off when we asked where our food was. Nobody asked if our meal was OK or if we wanted anything else. Perhaps it was a bad day and they were understaffed but it was a meal to remember for all the wrong reasons.

This place is exactly what I had hoped for! I was so in the mood for fresh orange juice, something delicious and light. Found it! Absolutely incredible! I have been looking for something like this place for a while. I had essentially an avocado toast. My wife had some kind of potatoe pancake, with eggs, pastrami, and all this other stuff. Freaking cool! It's called a Swiss Twist - Rosti. So delicious! Back to my avocado toast. They have it GF here which is almost impossible in Normandy. It was great. Fresh OJ was great, Americano was great, everything was great! Maelle (our server) is probably one of the best at service in all of Normandy! Very knowledgeable, engaging, charming, smart, and professional. Somehow Selma Alabama managed to hire the best and most capable service professional in Normandy!

Selma Alabama Brunch Cafe is an awesome spot for breakfast. If you’re looking for a place that opens early and actually serves food that’s both tasty and filling, this is it. I tried the croissant with scrambled eggs and salmon, and it was genuinely excellent - fresh, buttery, and perfectly balanced. The eggs were soft and flavorful, the salmon tasted fresh, and the portion was satisfying without feeling heavy. It’s the kind of breakfast that immediately puts you in a good mood and sets you up for the day. The coffee was also really good - exactly what you want in the morning. But what truly makes this place stand out is the service: fast, friendly, and attentive. Everything felt smooth and welcoming from the moment we walked in. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a great brunch/breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back.

We were lucky to get a table for four, but it was in a very hot and sunny/exposed corner inside the restaurant. We were baking inside even though it wasn’t very hot outside. A shade or curtain would have made the experience much nicer. The quality of the food was good, but there was room for improvement. My fish burger was a very small piece of fish on a mostly empty bun (although it was still delicious) and the two in our party who ordered beef burgers said they were great. The fries were soft and not crispy, and the salad dressing was too acidic for me and another person in our party. The person who ordered pork found it to be a bit dry. The service was good, the location is great, and it is nice that it is open later than many other restaurants in the area.

We booked 3 days in advance as couldn't just drop in as the place was fully booked, so .....very warm welcome from the staff. Great food & wines. We had an excellent meal here- the views of the Cathedral are stunning and the food was excellent. Waitstaff was friendly, and we had a 5 year old and a baby with us and they were very kind to the children- they even have a kids menu! Mussels and the burgers were great.

We went two different evenings for mussels, frites and wine. We had them cooked in white wine and also tried the Normand sauce. 100% recommended! We came without reservation just as they opened for dinner, they still had some open spots that filled quickly. Soon the restaurant would completely fill up. We came here on a Sunday when many of the restaurants in this town were closed. We had a reservation and saw many folks get turned away. Our service was attentive. The menu is full of classics/traditional dishes done well. All that we ordered was delicious, and mussels super fresh. Overall we had a really enjoyable experience here.

La Normande is a wonderful little French restaurant - charming, cozy, and full of character. The service was absolutely excellent. Two lovely waitresses took care of us throughout the evening, helping with recommendations, explaining the menu in detail, and making sure everything flowed perfectly. Plates and cutlery were changed promptly, and the food arrived quickly without ever feeling rushed. Truly attentive and professional service. The food deserves special praise. The oysters were incredibly fresh - they genuinely tasted of the sea, which is exactly how oysters should be. The wine list is very well curated, with great choices to pair with the food. And the desserts were simply outstanding - refined, well-balanced, and a perfect finish to the meal. Bravo to the whole team. Five stars without hesitation!

We tried Le Moulin de la Galette this weekend and overall had a really nice experience. The restaurant has an amazing outdoor seating area near the lake, which makes the atmosphere super relaxing and enjoyable, especially on a sunny day. They mainly serve galettes along with some other dishes. The galettes were good and had a really nice taste. The salad was amazing and the sauce was honestly excellent. The fries were also really good, and the crêpes were super tasty for dessert. As for the soupe à l’oignon, I think it could be improved a bit. It needed a little more seasoning, and the bread inside was difficult to cut and eat comfortably. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming throughout the meal. Overall, it’s a lovely spot with a beautiful setting and good food.

📍 Le Moulin de la Galette - Bayeux, France ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food: Kipik • Freshly prepared and served hot. • The meat was a bit bland for my taste. • Good, but not nearly as memorable as our other galette. Forestière • Loved the combination of bacon, hazelnuts, onions, and pesto. • A unique galette with lots of flavor. • Definitely the one I would recommend ordering! Drinks: Cidre de Bayeux à la Pression • A delicious local draft cider. • Crisp, refreshing, and a great introduction to Normandy. Jonathan and I came here on our very first night in France. It was a nice introduction to two Normandy staples: galettes and cider. The restaurant itself was adorable, with heated outdoor seating, cozy blankets for guests, and even a friendly kitten wandering around. The service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was charming. While the food didn’t completely wow me, I enjoyed the experience overall and thought it was a lovely way to start our trip. Date Visited: 4/14/2026

Wonderful all around: great location, fantastic food and service. Our waitress was one of 2 who ran the terrace like a well-oiled machine, with a smile on her face! She guided us to menu choices when asked and cautioned me that my eyes would likely be WAY bigger than my stomach when I ordered. IMPORTANT: 1. Make a reservation, for lunch or dinner! The place is very popular with locals, for good reason 2. Weather permitting, sit on the terrace. Under a massive tree and next to the river, it’s perfect.

A wonderful find! We stumbled across this lovely riverside restaurant and came back for dinner. It was really busy for a Monday night - positive sign! We didn’t have a reservation so they kindly asked us to come back in 20 minutes - definitely worth it! We had the most fantastic appetisers - huge portions of saucisson sec and fresh calamari. The rolled pancake mains were delicious and we saw plenty of other options being served including cheese fondue which clearly other tables were enjoying. Sadly too full for pudding but I’m sure would have been great and sounded wonderful. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and particular mention of Lauren and her brother James who were incredibly kind and chatted to us in English. A must visit!!! P.s they have a cute cat!

We ate here both nights in Bayeux—no point gambling once you’ve found the place. A proper intro to Norman cuisine: excellent buckwheat galettes, with the Kipik my favorite. The baked Mont d’Or combined with roasted potatoes is beyond words. With food this good? Cider or poiré, of course.

Gluten-free in Bayeux! We ate here three times. The sandwiches, quiche and desserts are excellent—all homemade in a dedicated gluten-free kitchen. Even though not everyone in our party needs to eat gluten free, we enjoyed the food. It is fresh and delicious. The owner is welcoming and informative. She has a nice clean space with tables to enjoy the food.

This is one of the freshest and tastiest lunches I’ve had during my 10 week stay in France. We sat outside and had the curried chicken quiche and a superb pork and salad burger with soft and delicious bun which is a rarity for gluten free bread. You don’t need to be gluten sensitive to enjoy this gem of a place, but a diamond for those who are.

The hamburger was sooo delicious 😋. We walked around town after we had dinner then stopped back by for a scoop of ice cream 🍦. The next night we stopped at a different place and then hit this place on our way back to our hotel for some ice cream. Definitely a place to go to.

Absolutely incredible French food from a chef that took very good care of us! There’s a very small menu which is very reasonably priced and made exceptionally well. There’s chef cooks directly in front of you and was very happy to explain the food to guests with very limited French speaking ability! The wine pairings were perfect and we ended up taking a crate home. Avoid the tourists traps in the area and come here!

Very polite staff, good food properly served, a good selection of wines and spirits to buy. Excellent for an evening drink with a plateau of cheese and charcuterie. Try it and check the wines and the spirits they offer tasting for some of them.

Wonderful place.. My wife and I went for dinner and had a great experience. Pierre (the owner) spoke perfect English and was very accommodating. We had the dinner plate special, some escargot and let Pierre choose a wine for us. It was right on the mark. I would suggest to anyone in the area to stop by.

Loved this local bistro. Came here for lunch and ordered their 3 course set menu. Very reasonably priced. Had two choices to select from for appetizers: pomme de terre or the mackerel salad. Went with the latter, no regret. And only one option for the plat: the spare ribs, it was delicious! A hearty meal that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Walking around Bayeux looking for a lunch spot, we peeked our heads in to find a cozy, stylish bistro with fantastic smells coming from the attached kitchen station. Reasonably priced and delicious formule, my only regret was not opting for the entrée salade as well. The table next to us got it, and looked fabulous. A warm welcome from the owners. Perfect service that was attentive and we shared a laugh or two. Wine available by the glass, bottle, or pichet! We opted for the vin rouge (pichet) du jour. It was wonderful, and we ended up buying a bottle of it from the adjoining cave. If you're looking for a meal in Bayeux, stop searching and go here now! 🙂

Tips for Dining on a Budget in Bayeux

To make the most of your culinary journey through this historic Norman town, it helps to understand how the local dining culture works. Eating affordably in France is an art form, and with a few insider strategies, you can dine like a local while protecting your travel funds. Here are essential tips to help you navigate the food scene efficiently and deliciously.

1. Embrace the "Formule" or "Menu du Jour"
The single best way to save money in Bayeux is to look for the chalkboard signs advertising the "Formule" or "Menu du Jour." These set menus are typically offered at lunchtime and include a starter and main course, or a main course and dessert, for a fraction of the à la carte price. It is often the freshest food of the day, made with whatever the chef found at the market that morning.

2. Make Lunch Your Main Meal
If you have your eye on a slightly pricier restaurant, book a table for lunch instead of dinner. Many high-end establishments in Bayeux offer the exact same quality of food at lunchtime but at significantly reduced prices to attract the local business crowd. You can enjoy a gastronomic experience for nearly half the price of the evening service.

3. Look for "Crêperies" and "Galettes"
For a true taste of Normandy that is inherently affordable, seek out a traditional crêperie. A "galette" (a savory buckwheat crepe) filled with ham, cheese, egg, or mushrooms is a hearty, filling meal that rarely breaks the bank. Paired with a bowl of local cider, it is a culturally authentic and cost-effective dining option.

4. Dine Away from the Tapestry and Cathedral
The streets immediately surrounding the Bayeux Tapestry Museum and the Cathedral are beautiful, but they come with a premium price tag due to the high tourist foot traffic. Walk just five or ten minutes away from these landmarks toward the residential neighborhoods. You will find neighborhood bistros and brasseries where the prices drop and the clientele is predominantly local.

5. Picnic Like a Parisian
Bayeux has several fantastic outdoor markets and specialty food shops. Take advantage of the local "boulangeries" (bakeries), "fromageries" (cheese shops), and "charcuteries" (delicatessens) to assemble a world-class picnic. Grab a fresh baguette, some Camembert or Pont-l’Évêque, a slice of pâté, and some fruit, then head to the Place de Gaulle or the botanical garden for a memorable and incredibly cheap meal.

Exploring the culinary landscape of Bayeux on a budget is not about sacrificing quality; it is about discovering the authentic heartbeat of the city. The restaurants featured here offer a genuine taste of Norman hospitality, proving that the best meals are often found in the most unassuming places. By choosing wisely and utilizing local dining customs, you can ensure that your trip to Bayeux is as rich in flavor as it is in history.

As you wander the cobblestone streets, let your senses guide you to the sounds of sizzling butter and the sight of golden baguettes. Whether you are refueling after a long day of sightseeing or simply soaking in the atmosphere with a glass of cider, these affordable eateries will ensure your visit is both satisfying and economically savvy. Bon appétit!
