12 Fast Food Spots near Place de la Concorde

Finding a quick, satisfying bite in one of Paris’s most monumental districts can feel surprisingly difficult. The area around Place de la Concorde is dominated by luxury hotels, historic landmarks, and high-end boutiques, often leaving visitors wondering where to grab a casual meal without breaking the bank or wasting time. While this arrondissement is not known as the fast-food capital of the city, there are plenty of convenient options if you know exactly where to look. Whether you are rushing between museum visits or simply craving a familiar taste, the neighborhood offers more variety than its elegant facade suggests.

The key to eating well here is balancing convenience with the local culture. While you will certainly find the global chains that offer speed and predictability, you should not overlook the French fast-casual spots that serve fresh baguettes, savory crêpes, and gourmet burgers. These local gems often provide a much more authentic Parisian experience without requiring the time commitment of a traditional sit-down brasserie. Knowing which streets to explore—such as Rue Royale or the edges of the Tuileries Garden—can transform your meal break from a chore into a highlight of your day.

Accessibility is one of the biggest advantages of this location. As a major transit hub, Place de la Concorde is serviced by multiple metro lines, making it easy to hop off, grab a meal, and continue your journey. Many of the establishments in the vicinity have adapted to the fast pace of tourists and office workers alike, offering efficient counter service alongside limited seating. This means you can often get in and out in under twenty minutes, leaving you more time to admire the Luxor Obelisk or walk down the Champs-Élysées.

Budget is another important factor to consider when eating in the 8th arrondissement. While fine dining reigns supreme here, the fast food and quick-service options provide a welcome relief for travelers watching their expenses. You can easily find a hearty meal for a fraction of the price of a hotel restaurant, allowing you to allocate your savings toward attractions or shopping. Even within the fast-food category, prices can vary, so knowing your options helps you avoid paying a premium simply for the view.

Dietary preferences are also increasingly well-catered to in this area. While traditional French fast food often revolves around ham, butter, and cheese, modern outlets now offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free alternatives. This shift makes the area much more inclusive for international visitors with specific dietary needs. From plant-based burgers to fresh salad bowls, you do not have to compromise your eating habits just because you are in the heart of a meat-and-cheese-loving country.

Finally, the operating hours of these spots are a crucial consideration. Unlike traditional French restaurants that close between lunch and dinner service, fast food locations typically offer continuous service throughout the afternoon. This is a lifesaver for travelers dealing with jet lag or those who prefer to eat on a non-standard schedule. Whether you need an early breakfast coffee or a late-night snack after a river cruise, you will find doors open when you need them most.

Here is a curated list of the most reliable and satisfying quick-service restaurants within walking distance of Place de la Concorde.

McDonald’s was clean and well-maintained, with a pleasant dining area and tidy tables. The service was a bit slow, but the staff were courteous and the food met expectations.
Josiah Plett★★★★★
Came looking for the fabled French McDonald's experience, and I was NOT disappointed! Burger and nuggets were delivered to the well-decorated upstairs only 3min after I ordered.
Vincent Cheng★☆☆☆☆
Extremely slow service! I waited for more than 25minutes just to get my meal. This is far from the quick service I expect from McDonald's. If you are in a hurry, I would suggest going elsewhere. Very frustrating experience.
Evusnik★★★☆☆
Food was a bit tasteless and served in plastic containers which is a bit unappealing. Staff were efficient and friendly. You can order in person or via computer system, there is table service which seems to be the only option (to my knowledge). The view from upstairs is very nice. Toilets aren’t free and cost 1€, even if you order food.

Prettiest McDonald’s I’ve seen! The exterior really gives off a Parisian vibe. It gets packed around noon, but there’s additional seating upstairs — and the view from up there is great! The food was better than expected, though the cinnamon roll was a bit dry.

I don’t understand how a restaurant with such high prices can offer such poor customer service. The Asian cleaning staff member on the upper floor was completely unprofessional and lacked basic respect for families and children. When we arrived, I politely asked him if a table overlooking the street was available. It was dirty with food leftover from previous customers. He cleaned it reluctantly and with an angry attitude. Later, to respect the restaurant's self-service policy, I left my 5-year-old daughter at the table for a moment to clear our trays into the trash bins myself. Even though he saw me properly emptying the trays while keeping an eye on my young child, he approached me aggressively, lecturing me on how to empty the plates properly and where to put the cups, telling me "not to leave anything behind!" This was deeply insulting and completely unacceptable. I followed all the rules respectfully from the moment I arrived, yet I was treated with unnecessary hostility. A global brand charging premium prices should train its staff on basic customer service, professionalism, and how to respect families with young children.

the taste of the burger is very good in some ways similar to max burger. Fries are cooked Amsterdam style and the quality is very high, we ordered the large but to be honest it was little too much. Staff (kitchen, security and all) were kind and welcoming.
Mateo Tejera★★★★★
Solid American-style burgers with juicy meat and generous portions. I like that you can customize everything, and the fries are plentiful (they really don’t hold back). Quality is consistent, though prices are on the higher side for fast food especially in Paris.

If you’re craving a burger. This is the place. Same great burgers as always

Friendly staff. Toilets are clean. Lot of seating. Burgers are entirely customizable. Fries are on the soft side, I prefer hard crispy. Free refill of drinks. Food tastes very good. Kids love it. Expensive though.

An excellent place to eat before jumping on eurostar back to UK. Had the makloub poulet grille meal and it was delicious. Chicken was well cooked and sauces were flavoursome Portion size was massive (a tray of food!) So I ended up wrapping up half the makloub to take on the train with me for a snack later on. My daughter went for the oriental rice bowl.and she was equally as pleased with the flavours of her food.

Came here to get a sandwich for the Eurostar journey back home and had the Le Plan B with raclette. Was well packaged, a good size and very tasty, would recommend. Friendly staff as well.

While waiting for my train at Gare du Nord in Paris, I wanted a quick snack. Surrounded by Popeye’s, McDonald’s, Burger King, and Five Guys, I ended up at this small sandwich shop run by a couple of really friendly Tunisian guys. They offer a student discount menu 💸, which made it very affordable. The fries were absolutely spot on — crispy, flavorful, and a generous portion. But the star was the sandwich. The chicken was coated in a super crispy, flavorful batter (I think they might use cornflakes) that gave it a great crunch without clinging too heavily to the fillet. The chicken inside was juicy, and the batter was so tasty it made the whole fried chicken baguette stand out from the typical chicken sandwich. 🍟 They also have a sauce station where you can help yourself to whatever you like. The menu is varied, the indoor seating is spacious and they do offer luggage storage — but only through a third-party app. Overall, it’s an affordable, tasty alternative to the big chains, and I’m looking forward to trying their other sandwiches next time.
Laura Linuesa★★★★★
Very reasonable price for a nice baguette sandwich of good size! Payed 7.90€ and 1.50€ extra for fries. Fast and convenient, much better than the McDonald’s which is around the corner.
Dina★★★★★
We are big eaters, we regularly finish any meal we have in front of us. But this Plan B… they’re so generous we just couldn’t physically ingest any more food after finishing our sandwiches. The employees are super nice and welcoming, the food is to die for and I’m just so proud as a Tunisian to see a Tunisian franchise doing so well considering I’ve been going to plan b since my high school years (2015-16) and after a decade their sandwiches are still as delicious and as generous. Bravo! 🎊

We stopped by after landing in Paris and wanted to check out exclusive flavors for McDonald's in another country. Overall it was solid and felt like any other McDonald's. I got the mango curry chicken sandwich, where you can really taste the mango and curry flavors. It was slightly sweet and very creamy. The lettuce is the same sad shredded lettuce you can find in the States. The chicken patty was also the standard texture and taste for a McDonald's. They had wedge fries, which I think are better than the regular thin fries, but I prefer the potato-y texture so it may not be for everyone. It isn't a true McDonald's experience unless they forget a part of your order, and they forgot the cheese wedge fries, but a quick trip to the counter with the receipt got the matter resolved very quickly. I do like how they put the fries in a silicone container so it is reusable. However, the waste situation was a bit confusing for me, as they had 3 different bins with pictures and no writing so I wasn't sure which one to throw things in. The pictures weren't of help. The restrooms were hidden in the corner so a bit hard to find. It was not that clean but not too bad either, though some stalls lacked toilet paper so be sure to check before you go!

2026-05-18 Grateful to be blessed ✝️ with a McDonalds near the Louvre! Enjoyed a quick snacking at a reasonable price. To use the WC/ toilet/ 🚻 you have Press the very top button, then code, the very bottom button. Then turn the door handle counter clockwise. Open the door push or pull. Try again or ask for help if door does not open. 🚻 is not spacious. Open the door all the way to enter or exit 🚻. The toilet was a half toilet! Non-Europeans take note! Food was value for your money at this location!

This was an absolute joke. Ordered a single Coke had to wait over an hour even ask many times. How is it even possible for a fast-food restaurant to take that long... the staff seemed completely disorganized and didn't care at all. Calling this "fast food" is embarrassing. If you can't serve a Coke in under an hour, you seriously need to rethink how you run your restaurant.
Leandro Gutiérrez★☆☆☆☆
Fast food that isn’t fast food: 45 minutes of waiting for such a bad quality burger! If you are hungry, do not come here ! If you are thirsty, the sodas are flat !
Karim★☆☆☆☆
Unless you have no other alternatives i would not advise you to go there. Long wait time even after 10PM, uncooked meat, they give out trays without the paper on it and lay the fries directly on the dirty fries. The staff looks overworked, should get more staff on peak time.

Went here today, 09 Oct 2025, we ordered via the kiosks and whilst waiting for the food, I went to the toilet but was disappointed that I had to pay 1 euro to use the toilet when I had paid for 26 euros worth of food. The food ordered was a chicken sandwich which was the best thing on the list of items I ordered, the spicy beef sandwich was not spicy but very dry meat, the cheese balls were light and ok. Food comes very very quick, unfortunately so quick, it looks like its already cooked prio to the order. At about 4pm the place was less than 50% packed.

No wonder you think of McDonald's and Burger King when you're about to have a decent meal with a hamburger. But if you're in France and can find 'quick' nearby, you're lucky. Make sure to try a special hamburger with French flavor. A blue bun with blue cheese costs around E11 euros.

It was my first time trying quick in Paris and I ordered a Coke Zero. I asked nicely for a straw and she refused very rudely. Very unimpressed with the customer service. I will not be returning.

I bought a burger and asked if they could refill my water bottle for me (in a heatwave) and they told me no. The first time ever I’ve been refused by a fast food restaurant to do something so simple. I asked them in French as well to be as polite as possible. Burger was ok.

Horrible service. I ordered with pay at the counter. Waited for 20 minutes. Got swayed off with "pay there" but no one came. They made my order without calling it out. Still no one came to help me. Then after another 10 minutes she came and said "sorry. Re-do it." And had to wait another 10 minutes. Not time one wants to waste in a fast food restaurant.
Al More★☆☆☆☆
Unfortunately, this was my worst experience at a fast-food restaurant—in fact, the absolute worst ever. 1. There is no information about meal contents on the ordering screens; some items are listed using abbreviations, forcing customers to choose based on appearance, only to be surprised by unwanted ingredients like bacon. 2. There is no regard for customers who do not eat bacon, as if their entire clientele belonged to a single culture. 3. The staff member handing out orders does not speak to you at all, even when asked a question. 4. Drinks are served in glass cups, yet they refuse to provide a straw—demonstrating a lack of concern for public health and the transmission of germs between customers. 5. The drink was not cold enough and was served without ice, contrary to what was requested. I do not recommend visiting—in fact, I strongly advise against visiting Burger King in France altogether.

We were there today at around 4 PM. The staff’s behavior was very rude, especially the few employees standing at the front and calling out the orders. The sandwiches were served cold. I also asked for a glass of water, politely saying, “If it’s not a problem, could I have a glass of water?” One of the employees replied, “Ça me dérange” (“That bothers me”). Overall, a very disappointing experience. Save your money and don’t waste it here.

For some reason, I just had to try the McDonald's in Paris and get my fix of the 'Bacon Royal with Cheese'! After all, walking around the entire morning made me hungry, and this McDonald's was right in my path. The staff are super friendly, even though they spoke little English, but somehow, I got my order in. And space was plenty, except that the crowds were also plenty. At the end of the day, this was a great experience in Paris, and whenever I travel around the world, I make it a point to try the local McDs!

A nice restaurant in an upscale area. Wife said a bathroom attendant was charging a fee to use the toilet, which i thought was weird. The store was very crowded.

We visited the McDonald’s near the Arc de Triomphe and had a good experience. There were multiple kiosks, which made ordering easy, and the service was very quick. We especially enjoyed the McCafé treats. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it a convenient stop while exploring Paris.

Food quality: below criticism (photo attached). Humanity: zero. There was strong, cold wind blowing, so our group of 8 people + 1 dog wanted to step inside. Since there was no pictogram and no written sign stating that dogs are not allowed, we entered with my shivering dog — only into the entrance area — so we wouldn’t disturb anyone while the rest of the family was ordering. After half a minute, the security guard forced us out. I repeatedly pointed out that there was no sign prohibiting dogs. Despite this, he became louder and louder, shouting “OUT!” We then sat outside in the freezing cold and waited for the others. Later, I received something that could barely be called food. The only positive thing was that the hot chocolate was perfectly made and the barista was very nice. I honestly hope the place goes bankrupt and gets replaced by an O’tacos or another more decent food chain.
Annette W★★★☆☆
Staff is super. Everyone I interacted with or observed was working diligently, fast, and with friendly professionalism. The fries were perfect McDonald's standard. The burger buns were some if the best I've had. The meat patties were tiny and dry. The thing that drags the restaurant down is the complete lack of napkins. Meals don't come with napkins. There are no napkin dispensers. And if the answer to that is that I should have asked at the counter, then I am going to argue that counter staff should ask whether I want/need napkins along when they offer ketchup for the fries. The lack of napkins is exacerbated by the ridiculous long lines for the bathroom. They should offer a handwashing station outside of the bathrooms for those customers who don't need the toilet but prefer clean hands before and after eating.

10:30am (10h30) It is impossibly impractical and totally unexpected to encounter such rude McDonald’s staff and management on such a consistent basis ! Is it Paris? I ate way too many hamburgers and ‘chicken ‘ nuggets last night at this 119 Rue St Lazare McDonald’s. But I like McDonald’s so I found myself here again this morning dying of thirst and with an impeachment of a headache brewing like the McCafe I just bought a few moments earlier at the Gare St Lazare location ( vastly improved since I suggested they spruce up the place) But at first I was told that I could not have a glass of water with a little ice .. I defeated this folly of a statement from the cashier .. ( hey i order drinks and usually take no ice .. so my ice credit surplus must be in the thousands of cubes ) I wolfed downed this small glass of icy life savers waters … but in my ignorant folly I asked for some more water ( Oliver Twist style) … “please Madamme can I have some more water , I ate too many burgers and ‘ chicken ‘ nuggets “ To my agastment ( yes ) … I was told by the manager that I am allowed only 1 glass of water ( sans glaçons) .. my headache laughed and I was silently crying and cringing at the same instant.. as these nuggets and burgers drew the liquids from my nether regions , I decided not to argue nor to go drink from the toilettes.. ( I still have in my pockets the 3 toilets access tokens from our purchases yesterday night ) PLEASE MCDONALDS MANAGER. …causing a paying loyal customer to flee is not cool ! Please review your 1 glass of water per customer policy ! Now my Taiwanese colleagues ( yes those same one who manufacture your microchips think they are to blame because according to them , nobody in France likes people from Taiwan … so they refuse to ever visit another McDonald’s ever again ( nerds do not get out much ) Anyhow I took my gruel bowl ( empty water cup ) to the reservation only seafood restaurant next door .. and they gladly invited me in and gave me water and mints . They were surprised that McDonald’s did not have enough water ! Anyhow I will post some images of the restaurant MOLLARD that saved my life ! Come on McDonalds 119 rue st lazare 75008 . Teach your coworkers and employees common decency . Do not ration water to a Mc Nugget over eater ! Thumbs down ! BOOOOOOO!

We were very lucky as just a place got free when we walked in. The service was good, the server was so patient with me, heads up for that! I was super happy with my burger, and tried another which I liked less. But the concept is amazing. The place is small, and you need to get lucky with the seats. Suitable for small friend groups or couples (not so much for groups).

We loved the idea ! We both took the chicken burger and it was really good. We could taste that it was made with quality ingredients. Although, i wouldn’t recommend the disco sticks, they weren’t that good.

A nice concept with disc burgers. The flavor was rich and juicy and the service very good. It's not particularly big so if hungry better to pair it with a side

Wonderful place! Burgers are fabulous and super tasty! The meat is very good and tender, even the chicken! Fries are also crispy and not too hard, not too soft! Easy and clean to eat, since burgers are closed. Highly recommend!!!

Tips for Eating Fast Food near Place de la Concorde

Navigating the dining scene in a tourist-heavy zone requires a bit of strategy to ensure you get the best value, quality, and experience possible. While fast food is generally straightforward, the high volume of foot traffic in this district means lines can be long and prices can be inflated compared to other parts of Paris. By following a few local insights, you can eat efficiently and avoid common tourist traps that leave you waiting on the sidewalk for a mediocre meal. These tips will help you maximize your time and budget in one of the city’s busiest quarters.

  1. Avoid Peak Lunch Hours: The window between 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM is chaotic, as office workers from the nearby banks and government buildings flood the streets. Try to eat an early lunch at 11:45 AM or a late lunch after 1:45 PM to skip the long queues.
  2. Look for "Formule" Deals: Many French fast-casual spots, particularly bakeries and burger joints, offer a "formule" or set menu. This usually includes a main item, a side, and a drink for a bundled price, saving you a few euros compared to ordering items individually.
  3. Utilize Mobile Ordering: For the major international chains, downloading the app or using the in-store kiosks can be significantly faster than waiting for the cashier. You can often customize your order in English and simply pick it up when your number is called.
  4. Take Your Food to the Tuileries: Seating inside fast food restaurants near the Concorde is often limited and noisy. If the weather is nice, grab your meal to go and walk a few steps to the Tuileries Garden, where you can sit by the fountains and enjoy a world-class view with your sandwich.
  5. Check for Tourist Menus: Some establishments right on the square or facing the major monuments may have inflated "tourist menus." Walk one or two streets back from the main square—toward Rue Saint-Honoré or Rue de Rivoli—where the prices drop and the food quality often improves for the same chains.

The area surrounding Place de la Concorde serves as a gateway between the Louvre, the Champs-Élysées, and the Seine. Because of this, the foot traffic is constant, and the demand for quick, portable food is high. While you might initially be tempted to simply walk into the first recognizable logo you see, taking a moment to explore the side streets will reward you with better value and a more pleasant atmosphere.

Ultimately, fast food here does not have to mean sacrificing the Parisian experience. By choosing the right spot and timing your visit well, you can enjoy a quick meal that fuels you for the rest of your sightseeing without the stress of a long, formal dining session. Whether you opt for a classic French crêpe or a familiar burger, the convenience of these locations ensures you spend less time waiting and more time soaking in the beauty of the City of Light.
