Finding the right place to stay in Paris can make or break a family vacation. The allure of the Champs-Élysées is undeniable—its tree-lined promenade, historic monuments, and magical atmosphere draw millions of visitors every year. However, the sheer volume of accommodation options in the 8th arrondissement can be overwhelming for parents trying to balance location with practicality.
Staying near the Champs-Élysées offers a strategic advantage for families. You are within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe, the Grand Palais, and the Seine, while also having direct access to the Metro Line 1, which cuts straight through the heart of the city. This means less time navigating public transport with tired children and more time enjoying croissants at a nearby café.
But a prime location is only half the battle. Families need hotels that understand the nuances of traveling with children—rooms that can accommodate more than two people, amenities like cribs or rollaway beds, and staff who are welcoming rather than stiff toward younger guests. The best family-friendly properties in this prestigious district balance Parisian elegance with genuine warmth.
Many travelers assume that the Champs-Élysées area is exclusively reserved for luxury business travelers or couples on romantic getaways. While it is true that the neighborhood hosts some of the most opulent five-star palaces in the world, it also harbors a surprising number of boutique hotels and apartment-style residences that cater specifically to families.
When evaluating a hotel for a family stay, consider the practical details: connecting rooms, breakfast inclusions, proximity to green spaces for letting kids burn off energy, and the availability of babysitting services for parents who want an evening out. The best options combine these functional elements with a sense of place, ensuring that even the youngest travelers feel the magic of Paris.
The following guide highlights twelve exceptional properties that have earned strong reputations for accommodating families without sacrificing style or comfort. Each hotel offers something slightly different, from spacious suites with kitchenettes to legendary service that makes children feel like little princes and princesses.
Whether you are planning a first-time visit with toddlers or a multi-generational trip with teenagers, these hotels provide the ideal base for exploring the City of Light. Read on to discover which property best matches your family’s travel style, budget, and space requirements.

I almost don't want to leave this review so that others don't discover how wonderful this hotel is. Fantastic location, so quiet at night despite being so close to sites. The service and communication from the concierge is exceptional. We really felt like guests and that everyone at the hotel cared about us. They even helped us with lost luggage by Air France. The rooms were beautiful, large, and such comfortable bedding. They also surprised us for our anniversary with decorations in the room. Oh, and how could we forget the fantastic breakfast, we looked forward to it every morning. The breakfast had fresh, diverse, and abundant choices. When we come back to Paris this will be where we stay, Merci Beaucoup!!

The hotel has a decent location. We had 2 rooms and stayed 6 nights. One of the rooms was the Superior room on the first floor. Rooms are outdated, chipped furniture, scratched floors, some plugs work, some don't. No C or USB plugs. There is no bar on the rooftop. The staff locked us out of our room after first night because we paid only a half of the amount and waited for the bank to clear the rest of the payment. At that moment, the hotel had already more than 12k Euro. The valet service is good.

The Hotel Marignan is the perfect Parisian hotel. The staff is amazing, friendly, attentive, and dedicated to making every aspect of your stay exceptional. The rooms are beautiful, elegant, and thoughtfully appointed, with every convenience at your disposal. The Eiffel Tower views are spectacular and make the experience even more memorable. Thank you for a perfect stay!

There is nothing left wanting at this hotel. The room, the location, the views- are all perfect. The staff really makes it shine. Do not miss the excellent breakfast. It was quietenough for us to be able to sleep without issues and the air-conditioning works. You could not ask for a better bathroom. When you pop outside of the hotel, you are at Champs-Élysées and you are just a few minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower and so many other wonderful areas. This is the perfect hotel in Paris.

We would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to the entire hotel team for the wonderful experience!
The service was perfect and the decoration was absolutely beautiful. Thanks to you, my birthday became truly special and unforgettable. Everything was organized with such care and elegance that it felt like a fairytale.
We are especially grateful for your help in bringing the 50 roses from France to Bulgaria – such a kind and thoughtful gesture that we will never forget.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your attention, care, and professionalism!

Hotel Ekta is a beautiful boutique hotel in a prime location just 2 min walk from the Champs Elysees. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms were very clean and aesthetically pleasing and even had a clothes steamer. Our elegance room had a nice sized bathroom with large shower. Wardrobes were helpful but the rest of the room was very tight with 2 check in and 2 carry on sized suitcases. The only things I think could be improved would be better lighting in the room, particularly on the wall with TV and full length mirror and bigger trash cans. Overall our stay was fantastic and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

I expected much more from a “4-star” hotel. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was one of the worst I have had.
I don’t know if the staff was tired or simply did not want to be there, but the attitude came across as condescending and unhelpful. There was a clear lack of assistance, patience, and basic hospitality. Any question I asked was mostly met with “no” or “read the document,” without any real explanation or effort to help.
When I asked about speaking with the manager, the response was also very unhelpful and dismissive. For a hotel presenting itself as 4-star, the service should be much better than this.
The room itself was okay, but definitely not at a 4-star level. AC stopped working in the middle of the night. Overall, the experience did not match the rating or expectations.
The only thing this hotel really has going for it is the location. Aside from that, I would not recommend it. If you can spend an extra $100 somewhere else, do so. I would have changed hotels myself if I could have done so without losing my entire payment.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in and that's not an exaggeration.
First of all, the location is perfect. Everything is within walking distance, whether you're looking for great restaurants, visiting the Arc de Triomphe, or exploring the incredible shops along the Champs-Élysées. For tourists wanting to make the most of their time in Paris, this hotel is ideally situated.
Secondly, the quality of the hotel and rooms is exceptional. As soon as you step into the lobby, you're greeted by beautiful mirrors and a stylish 1970s-inspired design. Although I wasn't alive during that era, the décor makes you feel completely immersed in it. The front desk staff are welcoming, professional, and efficient, making check-in quick and seamless.
When you enter your room, you're immediately struck by how clean and beautiful it is. The hotel perfectly balances a fun, artistic style with a professional and luxurious atmosphere. The cleanliness is outstanding every mirror, surface, corner, and handle is spotless. The housekeeping team clearly takes great pride in maintaining the property.
The amenities make the experience even better. The room includes a coffee machine, complimentary water, and chocolates, all of which add a thoughtful touch to your stay.
I would not be taking the time to write such a detailed review if I didn't truly believe this hotel deserved it. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I would gladly return if given the opportunity.
In my opinion, this hotel deserves five-star recognition. The service, room quality, and unbeatable location make it worth the price. If you're visiting Paris and looking for a memorable stay, I highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was to die for. So good and such good service. Such a wonderful display, such cute decor. We loved this place. Hope to go back someday. Also, our window opened into a courtyard which was cool. Only a 5-10 minute walk from good mentor stations. The day staff was so helpful when we arrived, exhausted from flying from the States. Enjoy!

Well this is a well-overdue review. We had indeed a very pleasant experience. The location is perfect for those who wish to stay close to the Champs Élysées, it is just a short walk from Arc de Triumph. The room was very cozy and exceptionally clean. Our visit was during Christmas time and the whole atmosphere and decorations in the hotel, particularly lobby and breakfast area was so fairytaly and magical. But we would like to particularly mention the support and professionalism of the charming lady at the reception - Sabaha (hopefully I spell correctly). The staff in general was very supportive, but she is the main asset of the hotel. Best wishes

Excellent location, right next to Champs-Elysee, perfect for couple to stay and visit Paris. I was staying with my family in two separate rooms, last minute reservation.
Older furniture and old interior design, very small room in old remodeled Hotel but very friendly front desk Staff. Breakfa was great.

I had a fantastic experience staying at Hôtel Chateaubriand - Champs Elysées. The room was beautifully decorated in classic French style—elegant and cozy. The bathroom was spacious, with consistently hot water and a well-functioning heater, which made the stay even more comfortable.
What impressed me most was the daily housekeeping service, done without needing to request it. The location is incredibly strategic—just steps away from the Champs-Élysées, making it perfect for both sightseeing and business.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. While the breakfast menu didn’t change much from day to day, everything served was of great quality and tasted excellent.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a charming Parisian experience in a prime location!

First of all I would like to say that the staff are really friendly polite and helpful. They were the only positive part of our stay.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself was very disappointing. The photos shown on Booking.com are beautiful but the reality is completely different. The rooms and overall condition of the hotel do not match the pictures at all.
The biggest problem was the air conditioning. It was extremely loud, and because of the noise we could not sleep at all. It felt like the air conditioning system needs to be repaired or changed.
Because of these issues I can only give 1 star, and that one star is only for the staff who were truly kind and professional.

This was our third stay at Hôtel Galileo Paris Champs-Élysées and once again it was an excellent experience.
From the very beginning, the entire staff made us feel at home. We would especially like to thank Basma and Anna at reception, Mala and Lilia from the breakfast service, Ilyas the technician, and Christelle the manager for their kindness, professionalism, and constant willingness to help. Basma was always attentive and welcoming us with a smile, which made our stay even more special.
I traveled with my mother, and the team truly provided us with every possible convenience and support, something we deeply appreciated.
The room was spotless, very comfortable, and extremely quiet. The beds are of outstanding quality, making it possible to rest perfectly after long days exploring Paris. The breakfast was also delicious, with a wide variety of fresh options.
The location is unbeatable: just steps away from the Champs-Élysées, right behind Louis Vuitton and very close to the Arc de Triomphe, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the city.
We truly highly recommend this hotel and we are already looking forward to coming back.

An exceptional hotel that exceeded all my expectations.
The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and feature a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed, including cookware, dishes, and a microwave, making the stay both convenient and comfortable.
One of the things I truly appreciated was that the hotel kindly reduced my room rate after the first night, which reflects their commitment to guest satisfaction.
The location is perfect—just a short walk from the Champs-Élysées, with numerous excellent restaurants and cafés nearby.
The reception staff were outstanding throughout my stay. They were professional, friendly, and always eager to help. Special thanks to Bertrand, Saadi, Tina, and Nadia for their exceptional hospitality and excellent customer service.
I was also very grateful that they accommodated my request for a late check-out due to unforeseen personal circumstances.

First I'm no a review writer but I promised! They took such great care of me and my friends. The location is incredible. Rooms while a bit small (typical for Europe), are well air conditioned and we were there during the HOTTEST day ever on record. I never felt warm anywhere in the hotel. I'm also sensitive to noise and chose the hotel because the reviews mentioned it's quiet and it was. No need for earplugs. It faces a street that is normally shut off from cars and only allows bike and pedestrian access so that helped. It was like a little quiet corner in a busy area. The staff is so kind, accommodating. They were just lovely people. When I go back to Paris and want to stay in the area, I'll choose Le Marianne and will be sure to recommend it to others.

We stayed in Paris for 5 days and, by far, this was the hotel with the worst cost-benefit ratio. We paid twice as much for a much smaller room compared to the ones we experienced in other tourist cities across Europe. The room did not have a minibar and there was no space to leave our luggage because it was so small. There was not even a place to put bathroom accessories inside the shower (we had to leave them on the floor), and water leaked out during every shower, leaving the bathroom mat soaked each time. We had to keep one of the face towels on the floor at all times to absorb the leaking water.
However, the hotel staff was always very attentive. The bed was comfortable and the shower had excellent water temperature and a good localization.
Carissa Sklepowich★☆☆☆☆
Definitely not the 4star they claim. Breakfast is not worth the money, beds are old, too soft and can feel springs thru them. The bathroom is a broom closet. Never any towels by the pool - have to ASK for everything when visibly there is staff sitting around. Super disappointed for the money spent on a "superior" room.
Tasos Constantinou★☆☆☆☆
I recently booked a Junior Suite for four people directly through the hotel website. Unfortunately, the room was entirely too small for this capacity. Once the sofa bed was opened, there was virtually no floor space left, and the path to the bathroom was completely obstructed. To reach the bathroom, we were forced to either squeeze against the wall or climb over the bed.
When I raised this issue with staff, I was told no larger rooms were available. I am disappointed that the website lacks specific room dimensions, as I never would have booked this for a family of four had the true size been clear. If you are a group larger than two, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. Please see my photos for a clear view of the assault course getting to the bathroom.

The hotel price is reasonable and the location is acceptable, but the overall experience was very disappointing. There is constant noise from people on the street both day and night, making it impossible to rest. The bathroom is extremely small, and water leaks everywhere. The service is poor, and the staff were not helpful. The only respectful and professional person at the hotel was an Arabic staff member, I believe of Moroccan nationality.

The staff was amazing with check in and ensuring we had a place for our bags. Anyone looking for a hotel that ISNT your run of the mill tourist trap, PLEASE stay here!!! It was spotless inside and very quiet. The biggest room we’ve seen in Europe so far
Sandra Sutherland★★☆☆☆
Great location, but the room was very small with an AC that hardly blows. We spend two out of three nights of torture. There is only one fan in the entire hotel. Ice was a very scared commodity. The hotel could of done a better job finding a solution earlier.
Tara Valliere★★★☆☆
The location is very good and convenient for getting around. Breakfast options were minimal, and the overall service was inconsistent. Housekeeping did not clean the room or replace towels even when following the instructions on their signs saying where to place towels for replacement — you have to ask specifically at the desk. When we asked just for clean towels (not even full room service), the request was still denied because we “didn’t ask in the morning,” which was frustrating.
Front desk staff was mixed; some were friendly, others not so much. You’re also required to hand over your room key every time you leave, which adds to an overall strange vibe. Not the most comfortable stay.
Alyssa Anderson★★★★★
we LOVED this hotel!! It was so clean and cute, and had so much space compared to other places that we stayed! It was so easy to check in/out and store our bags which we needed to do. The staff was super nice and treated us soooo very well! Absolutely would recommend to anyone!

Great hotel, we stayed during a 40°+ heatwave and the air conditioning in our room + ice water fountain in reception were absolute lifesavers. 5 stads for this alone!
The location is good, right by Charles de
Gualle-Etoile which serves as an interchange between numerous metro lines and RER. Restaurants and bakeries in this area are expensive, even for Paris.
Our room was small but sufficient, with a comfy bed. Rooms have keycard access, so can come and easily. The lift is slow but reliable.
Only problem was that the tap water in our room tasted off/ stagnant, (maybe served by a water tank?) But we just filled up at the fountain downstairs.

I went to Paris with my family (Opera Room) and was really impressed with location of the property. Service was great at check in and throughout the stay. Things changed when we saw bed bugs crawling all over the bed, floor and the walls. when I mentioned it to reception they denied it as their on going problem. There is no way that so many bed bugs can come with in the 3 days of our stay if they never had this issue. Even after our visit me and my kids are terrified and having nightmares about the bugs.
Umut Nesrin Amasyali★☆☆☆☆
The bug problem is real and on-going. Since it was last minute reservation for us, I was not able to check the property deeply. At the middle of the night we woke up to an invasion of 100s of bugs from three different bugs. We didn't make a big scene out of it so as not to give our daughters a hotel trauma they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. In the morning we informed the hotel management, they agreed to refund our money and we checked out. We had to find a new place to stay and transfer our luggages and girls etc.
Unfortunately the worst part is this: the hotel management said that this was the first time they encountered such a problem and was very surprised, but when I told them that similar problems were reported in the reviews, they said that they solved this problem 3 years ago and this was the first time they encountered something like this after 3 years. However, when I look at the comments in detail, I see that similar comments were written even three weeks ago. As far as I understand, the business ignores this issue and invests in the depth of the sleep of the guests. If you do not want such a remarkable memory in your trip, you can choose a different business.
Edit on 19th Nov : After the review was published, the business management contacted me and stated that they cared about this problem and that the renovation was currently continuing. They stated that the comment reporting the bug problem 3 weeks ago was added with malicious intent by someone who did not even stay at the hotel. I wanted to share this information to be fair, but my opinion has not changed.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was quiet, clean, and perfectly located to everything we wanted to do. The included breakfast each morning was excellent. We also enjoyed some of the great restaurants within easy walking distance.
Kevin Vanhutton★★★★☆
We recently stayed a total of 7 nights on either end of a 2-week trip to France. We are frequent guests at a sister property, the Splendid Etoile, and because the Splendid was closed for renovations we chose to try the Rochester. The hotel was clean, and in a decent location close to the Champs Élysées. We booked one of their suites, which was spacious and well-appointed. There are really no views to speak of from any of the rooms. This place is one of the hotels used by Viking Cruises for their pre and post cruise extensions, and there were Viking groups coming in and out regularly.
The staff was uniformly friendly and professional, especially the young men greeting arriving guests and helping with luggage. My wife has been learning to speak French, and enjoyed conversing with a number of staff members who were happy to help her work on her language skills. In particular Mamadou (sp?) who I believe is a part of the housekeeping team, was especially pleasant with her.
I thought the breakfast buffet was mediocre and somewhat overpriced. It’s a busy hotel and the breakfast staff had some difficulty keeping the food items stocked and the coffee refilled in a timely manner. I would probably advise going to one of the local cafes for breakfast instead.
All told, not a bad choice if you’re visiting Paris. We would possibly stay here again if the Splendid Etoile was unavailable.

I stayed on the 6th floor, and unfortunately my experience wasn't great. The room didn't seem to have been cleaned thoroughly by housekeeping. It was a bit dirty and had an unpleasant smell when I arrived, which made the stay less comfortable.
The breakfast itself was actually good, with a nice variety of food and everything I tried tasted good. However, the older gentleman who seemed to be managing and serving the breakfast area came across as rude and wasn't very welcoming, which took away from what could have been a pleasant experience.
The only real positive was the location, which was very convenient and made it easy to get around. Aside from that, I expected better cleanliness and service for the price.

First of all — the bed. I don’t say this lightly — it was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever slept in. After long days walking around Paris (and standing out in the cold for New Year’s Eve), climbing into that bed felt like heaven. Properly cosy, soft, and warm.
The spa was such a bonus. Having somewhere to unwind after busy sightseeing days made the whole stay feel a bit luxurious without being over the top. It’s calm, clean and a lovely way to reset before heading back out into the city.
And the location is unbeatable. You’re just off the Champs-Élysées, so everything feels right there — shops, restaurants, Metro stations, and easy walking distance to so many major sights. It made the whole trip effortless.
Waking up in central Paris on New Year’s Day with my son, stepping out into those beautiful streets… it was one of those trips you don’t forget.
Comfort, location, atmosphere — it ticked all the boxes for us.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights at the end of February and I would stay here again in a heartbeat! This was my third trip to Paris and this was the best hotel I’ve stayed in here. The location is absolutely perfect, super close to sites and the metro. The staff was all lovely! The room exceeded expectations - it was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable! If my travels bring me back to Paris (and I hope they will) I will definitely be staying here again!

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was dirty upon check-in, and the level of cleanliness was completely unacceptable.
When I reported the issue to the receptionist immediately after entering the room, his response was rude and unprofessional. Instead of addressing my complaint, he said, “You must have used the room, so of course it got dirty.” This was an unacceptable and disrespectful way to treat a guest, especially since I had just checked in.
In addition, we were not given the room type that we had originally booked. The staff were unhelpful and unwilling to resolve any issues. In fact, several other guests were also complaining about the same problems, yet the employees showed no interest in helping anyone.
What made the situation even worse was that my personal belongings were moved from one room to another without my knowledge or prior consent. This is completely unacceptable and a serious violation of a guest’s privacy and trust.
Overall, there was not a single positive aspect of this hotel. Poor cleanliness, rude staff, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for guests made this one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had a great time at this hotel and would love to stay there again.
The team has gone above and beyond to answer all of our requests.
A special thank you to Didier from reception and Habiba from housekeeping!!
Also a great location close to main attractions and lovely cafes, boutiques around.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience with the hotel itself. I hadn't booked a room with a balcony or street view BUT did not expect to be staring at a concrete wall and filthy outdoor area plus into other peoples rooms - so some feedback for the hotel would be to make the courtyard a garden perhaps so it's something pleasant for people to look at instead of concrete! When I asked the hotel if I could upgrade rooms as I wasn't happy with the room. They sent me around in circles asking me to come back later on to speak to the manager then the following morning they asked me to come back later again to speak to a different manager anyway in the end the end they were fully booked for 3 out of the 5 nights that I was there, so I can fully appreciate they could not move me, however, they were extremely dismissive of me. I decided to leave the hotel because I hated the room so much and didn't want to stay another night. The manager was standing at reception when I went to leave and I explained that I disliked my room so much so that I've paid to go stay at another hotel and her first reaction was to let me know there would be absolutely no refund - which I didn't even ask for and Booking.com were handling on my behalf anyway. She was really rude and dismissive which was very disappointing! Very poor customer service on her part. I won't be returning which is a shame.

Worst experience for years
Firstly all the reviews in regards to not have a room available at 3pm is a fact. Not a one off case. It’s a business. No one gets their room at 3pm. If you are lucky you will get at 5pm. If you are unlucky like me, you will get your room card , they will send you to your room and the housekeeper will shout at you to go back to the reception. Then the receptionist will call someone for support and an arrogant lady will arrive who whatever you say to her she laughs. When eventually you get your room, you won’t sleep for the whole night. Unbearable noises from technical errors from higher floors will occur and when you report this to the reception, they will respond to you, that indeed you are right, more people reported this, but we cannot help you as we do not have any technician. The rooms are old and horrible btw.
Just stay away from this hotel.

I had a very disappointing experience at Hôtel Castiglione — and unfortunately, this was already my second negative stay here.
I arrived at 5:00 PM, while check-in officially starts at 3:00 PM, but my room was still not ready. I was asked to wait 1.5 hours, and even at 7:00 PM the room was still not available. Each time, the staff blamed my “late reservation,” which is simply not a valid explanation for such a delay.
The attitude of the staff and the manager was extremely disappointing — rude, defensive, and completely lacking empathy. I was traveling with a small child who was tired, hungry, and crying, yet no effort was made to assist or prioritize the situation.
What shocked me the most was how our luggage was handled. The manager stated that the staff had “finished their work,” left our luggage near the elevator, and told us to carry it ourselves. We had to take our suitcases upstairs on our own.
To make matters worse, when we finally reached the room, the key did not work. And when I finally entered the room, I was met with yet another disappointment — the bed linen looked old and not fresh, with hairs on it.
These are not minor issues — this reflects a serious lack of professionalism, poor management, and complete disregard for guest experience.
During my previous stay, I also experienced serious issues, including a strong sewage smell and malfunctioning air conditioning/heating, which were never properly resolved.
This clearly shows a pattern of poor service.
I do not recommend this hotel.

What a wonderful hotel. The rooms are well appointed, with what looks like upgraded bathroom with toiletries you want to take home. The staff are extremely polite and helpful, and the location is very close to the Arc de Triomphe, metro, and very good restaurants. Highly recommend!

Terrible service. I was advised by my doctor that it would be unsafe for me to travel to Paris in the extreme heat, this hotel would not refund me. They do not care about their guest’s health or customer service, they only care about selling rooms. There are much nicer and more service minded hotels in Paris, you should stay elsewhere.

Arriving once again at Hotel Dadou on 10 Rue Troyon felt less like checking into a hotel and more like slipping back into a familiar chapter of my own Paris story. The Arc de Triomphe was just around the corner, the city humming as always, yet the moment I stepped through Dadou’s door, the outside world softened into a pleasant backdrop. A warm greeting at the front desk, a few shared smiles of recognition, and that gentle buzz in the lobby—coffee cups clinking, the faint scent of fresh pastries—told me I was exactly where I wanted to be. I wasn’t just returning to Paris; I was coming home.
This time, there was something new to look forward to: room 66, tucked up high in the roofline, like a little Parisian hideaway above the streets. The room was snug and cleverly laid out, a perfect blend of Haussmannian bones and playful Dadou personality, with vintage-inspired touches and a bed dressed in those impossibly inviting linens that make early mornings feel negotiable. Beyond the doorway, sunlight spilled onto a small balcony with two chairs—a simple luxury that instantly became my favorite corner of the city.
From that little perch in the sky, Paris felt both intimate and infinite. With a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening, I could sit back and watch rooftops shift in the changing light, hear the distant murmur of traffic along the grand avenues, and catch snippets of daily life unfolding below. The balcony turned every pause in the day into a scene: hurried commuters, strolling couples, the occasional siren, and the ever-present silhouette of the Arc just a short stroll away. It was the kind of vantage point that makes you feel quietly privileged—close to everything, yet just removed enough to savor it all

Will start with the positives: lovely room, comfy, love the balcony and quiet street. Beautiful bathroom and nice shower. Staff was kind.
I’m not one to complain, but there were certainly things that need to be improved.
Firstly, as soon as we booked we emailed to ask for a late check-out and were confirmed in writing to stay until 3:30pm (which we were going to pay for). This was vital to our trip because we had a wedding the night before, I am a lactating woman and had to plan my trip around my pumping schedule, etc. Upon arrival we were told this is no longer possible because someone else booked the room, which I understand; however, we should have been informed immediately via email given that there was no indication that there’s a possibility of us not being able to check-out late. It seemed like this was confirmed in our email exchange.
Second, breakfast is 22 euros and runs from 7-10:30am, 11 on weekends. Luckily, we got breakfast complimentary because our TV didn’t work for 2 days, however, make sure you get to breakfast at 7am. I arrived at 9 and there was was basically some cheese and bread left (no quiche, barely any eggs) and the staff stated that they do not replenish the food once things run out. So basically you could pay 22 euros for bread and cheese if you get there too late and everyone else ate everything.
Third, our check out/flight was on New Year’s Eve. We checked our suitcases in with the staff since we were leaving later in the day. At no point did anyone think to tell us that ALL of the streets surrounding the hotel would be closed later in the day because of NYE festivities by the Arc de Triomphe. Given that most people staying in a hotel are tourists, traveling to and from airports to catch flights, I feel like the hotel has some responsibility to inform guests of major delays. Needless to say, we found out the hard way.

Stayed at Dadou Paris because it was close to Place de l'Etoile where I needed to be for business purposes. It is close to the Champs Elisés and the Eiffel Tower not far on foot. It's a small and charming hotel. It is tastefully decorated. Rooms are small (not uncommon in Paris!) but confortable. Bedding is luxurious. The Bathroom with rain shower is top (loved the tiles). Breakfast buffet was tasteful and originals (Waffles, sugar bread, large choice of cheeses, quiche, ....) . There's a spa (but I didn't make use of it)
Essential Tips for Booking a Family Hotel near the Champs-Élysées
Choosing the right hotel is about more than just star ratings and square footage. The following practical tips will help you navigate the booking process with confidence, avoid common pitfalls, and ensure that your family’s stay in Paris is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Keep these strategies in mind as you compare options and finalize your reservation.
Book connecting rooms early. Many Parisian hotels have a limited number of connecting or adjoining rooms, especially in historic buildings where floor plans cannot be easily altered. If you are traveling with older children who need their own space, contact the hotel directly before booking online to confirm availability and lock in the configuration.
Check the elevator situation. Some charming boutique properties near the Champs-Élysées occupy Haussmann-era buildings with tiny, vintage elevators—or no elevator at all. If you are bringing a stroller, heavy luggage, or have young children who struggle with stairs, verify that the hotel has a modern, functional lift.
Prioritize breakfast inclusion. Eating breakfast at a Parisian café every morning can add up quickly for a family of four. Many hotels offer generous breakfast buffets with pastries, eggs, fruit, and juice. Booking a rate that includes breakfast not only saves money but also eliminates the stress of finding a kid-friendly meal before sightseeing.
Ask about kitchenettes or family suites. Having a small refrigerator or microwave in your room can be a game-changer for storing snacks, milk, or reheating leftovers. Several hotels in the area offer family suites or apartment-style rooms with kitchenettes, which provide flexibility for picky eaters and late-night snacks.
Look for nearby green spaces. The Champs-Élysées can be bustling and overstimulating for young children. Choose a hotel within a short walk of a park or garden—such as the Jardins des Champs-Élysées or the Tuileries Garden—where kids can run, play, and decompress between museum visits and shopping excursions.
Confirm the cancellation policy. Family travel plans can change unexpectedly due to illness, flight delays, or simply a child’s mood. Before committing to a non-refundable rate to save a few euros, weigh the risk. Opt for flexible booking options whenever possible, especially if you are traveling during winter or flu season.
Request a quiet room. The Champs-Élysées is one of the busiest avenues in Europe, and street noise can be significant well into the night. When booking, request a room facing an interior courtyard or a side street. Many hotels offer soundproofed windows, but a quiet orientation makes a meaningful difference for light sleepers.
A family trip to Paris is an investment in memories that will last a lifetime. By selecting the right hotel near the Champs-Élysées, you give your family the gift of convenience, comfort, and a true sense of place in one of the world’s most beautiful cities. The right accommodation becomes more than just a place to sleep—it becomes a peaceful retreat where you can recharge between adventures.
As you finalize your plans, remember that the best hotel is the one that fits your family’s unique rhythm. Whether you choose a grand palace with white-glove service or a cozy boutique hotel with a personal touch, the key is finding a space where everyone feels welcome. With the right base, you can focus on what truly matters: savoring every moment together under the Parisian sky.
