Finding the perfect place to stay in Paris often comes down to balancing iconic views with practical family logistics. The area surrounding Pont Alexandre III offers an unbeatable location, placing you between the grandeur of Les Invalides and the golden halls of the Grand Palais. For families, this specific stretch of the Seine is a strategic home base that minimizes travel time and maximizes comfort.
However, navigating Parisian hotel offerings can be tricky when traveling with children. Many boutique properties in historic Haussmann buildings are designed for solo travelers or couples, often lacking the square footage or flexibility required for a family of four or five. Understanding which hotels genuinely welcome children—rather than merely tolerating them—is essential for a stress-free vacation.
The Pont Alexandre III district is not just about aesthetics; it is about accessibility. Staying here means you are a short, scenic walk from the Champs-Élysées gardens and the Eiffel Tower, yet removed enough to avoid the most chaotic tourist bottlenecks. For parents, this proximity allows for easy midday breaks when younger children need to recharge away from the crowds.
When selecting family accommodation in this prestigious arrondissement, connectivity is a primary concern. The nearby Invalides and Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau metro stations serve key lines that connect directly to major hubs like Gare du Nord and the Marais. This reduces the need for long walks or complicated transfers with strollers in tow.
Space is the ultimate luxury in Paris, particularly for families. While a standard room might suffice for a quick overnight stay, a week-long vacation requires thoughtful layouts. We have prioritized properties that offer connecting rooms, family suites, or apartment-style living with kitchenettes to help manage meal costs and picky eaters.
Service standards also vary significantly between luxury palaces and upper-mid-range hotels. Families often benefit from properties that offer concrete amenities such as cribs, high chairs, and children’s menus rather than just a welcome drink. We have evaluated these details to ensure the hotels listed below provide practical value, not just a beautiful lobby.
Below is a curated list of the best family-friendly hotels near Pont Alexandre III, selected for their location, room configurations, and genuine hospitality toward younger guests.

Great location, step out of the hotel, look right and you’ll see the Eiffel Tower. Seems to be a popular spot for photos. Not far from the metro which was easy to use. The restaurant downstairs is a good stop too.
A bit of a refresh is needed, but I understand renovations in older buildings are not easy. Yes, the rooms are a bit on the smaller end but that is normal for buildings of that age.
Bed comfortable enough, shower pressure good, staff always greet you with a smile. I would stay here again.

Hotel Le Pavillon was the perfect place for our weekend in Paris! The hotel is centrally located to a ton of great restaurants and shops and within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and Seine River. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and the staff was extremely helpful throughout all parts of the day. I would highly recommend Hotel Le Pavillon to anybody looking for a great rate at a quaint hotel in the heart of Paris.

Our stay at Hotel Le Pavillon was excellent. The staff is so helpful and kind. The room was small but manageable. The location is perfect, so many bakeries and cafes steps away. Short walk to the Eiffel Tower. Close to the metro. When you go out and about they require you to leave your room key with them, which made us feel safe in terms of pick pockets. They can schedule a shuttle to the airport for you which was so convenient. We did not partake in breakfast so cannot comment on thay.

Very cute hotel. If you walk out the front door and look to the right you have a great view of the Eiffel Tower. The young woman who checked us in was extremely pleasant. She was smiling and courteous. She spoke terrific English as well. The room was very nice. The shower was great pressure and hoy water. Bed was comfortable and large. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again. (The overnight clerk was also very nice when we checked out in the AM. Great employees!)

I almost don't want to leave this review so that others don't discover how wonderful this hotel is. Fantastic location, so quiet at night despite being so close to sites. The service and communication from the concierge is exceptional. We really felt like guests and that everyone at the hotel cared about us. They even helped us with lost luggage by Air France. The rooms were beautiful, large, and such comfortable bedding. They also surprised us for our anniversary with decorations in the room. Oh, and how could we forget the fantastic breakfast, we looked forward to it every morning. The breakfast had fresh, diverse, and abundant choices. When we come back to Paris this will be where we stay, Merci Beaucoup!!

The hotel has a decent location. We had 2 rooms and stayed 6 nights. One of the rooms was the Superior room on the first floor. Rooms are outdated, chipped furniture, scratched floors, some plugs work, some don't. No C or USB plugs. There is no bar on the rooftop. The staff locked us out of our room after first night because we paid only a half of the amount and waited for the bank to clear the rest of the payment. At that moment, the hotel had already more than 12k Euro. The valet service is good.

The Hotel Marignan is the perfect Parisian hotel. The staff is amazing, friendly, attentive, and dedicated to making every aspect of your stay exceptional. The rooms are beautiful, elegant, and thoughtfully appointed, with every convenience at your disposal. The Eiffel Tower views are spectacular and make the experience even more memorable. Thank you for a perfect stay!

There is nothing left wanting at this hotel. The room, the location, the views- are all perfect. The staff really makes it shine. Do not miss the excellent breakfast. It was quietenough for us to be able to sleep without issues and the air-conditioning works. You could not ask for a better bathroom. When you pop outside of the hotel, you are at Champs-Élysées and you are just a few minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower and so many other wonderful areas. This is the perfect hotel in Paris.

We would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to the entire hotel team for the wonderful experience!
The service was perfect and the decoration was absolutely beautiful. Thanks to you, my birthday became truly special and unforgettable. Everything was organized with such care and elegance that it felt like a fairytale.
We are especially grateful for your help in bringing the 50 roses from France to Bulgaria – such a kind and thoughtful gesture that we will never forget.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your attention, care, and professionalism!

Excellent place to stay! Beds are very comfy. Rooms are quiet. Excellent service and the best location! You can walk to Eiffel Tower plus we loved the restaurants nearby especially the one right across the street! At night you have a clear view of sparkling Eiffel Tower lights. Highly recommend!

I stayed here in April 2026 during my first solo trip to Paris and was happy with my decision. I highly recommend this hotel if you prefer a quieter residential area that is still within walking distance to trains and sightseeing locations. The room was very spacious and clean with plenty of towels, a drying rack, and a mini-fridge with free beverages, which was very helpful when I got back to my room late and the shops were closed. All the employees were also very kind and accommodating. Unfortunately I got sick during my trip and had to figure out how to find a doctor with the Doctolib app and they let me use the hotel’s number because the app doesn’t accept American phone numbers. I accidentally locked myself out of my room twice, which was embarrassing, but they got me new cards without a problem. I have recommended this hotel to other friends and would absolutely stay here again on a future trip.

We are so glad we found this hotel for our recent visit.
7 of us , myself and 6 daughters in 4 rooms
* King/twin beds in 3 rooms so everyone had their own comfortable bed!
*Reasonable price. Book direct! Great communication beforehand
*Fantastic location with a 15 minute or less walk to the Eiffel Tower and many of our destinations. On a charming street with cafes, bakeries, shopping, groceries, pharmacies and more.
*Elevators and good air conditioning
*Free water and coke in room fridge restocked daily.
I would definitely recommend.

The hotel is in a great location. The 7th arrondisment. The rooms are very clean and it is a very quiet hotel. Eugenia and Lia at the front desk is very helpful and very sweet. Each day there are fresh baked croissants in the breakfast room. It also is right across the street from a laundromat that takes credit cards and is kept very clean, which is a must after traveling a few weeks.

Rooms in Paris are smaller and fully understand this, we actually had 2 rooms (family of 5) and felt a little cramped but it was expected. I would've given 5 stars but I believe the floors / trash small things couldve been more clean. Beds were clean and comfy, would stay here again just knowing these to let you know. We could lean out our window on one side and see Eiffel Tower which was incredible but that also meant by street which was louder. The other room did not have street view but much quieter!

My daughter and I stayed here for ten days. We were celebrating a “big” birthday. Upon arriving, we were greeted by Hakim. He is the best concierge ever. He was full of suggestions and information. He made sure we were taken care of and I really appreciated him.
The breakfasts that are included were not so good. The croissants weren’t worth the calories, we’d go to bakeries and get fresh ones. Breakfast servers were very nice.

Beautiful building, bright , clean and well air conditioned. Both rooms were a bit small but expected size in Paris. It was a decent 8 night stay with plenty to do around the hotel. The hotel bar looked sad but didn’t matter with the beautiful cafe just right down the street. Staff was friendly enough and the stay was comfortable. The breakfast buffet and dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Room service was also nice. I think the highlight was the beautiful flowers that I had requested before my arrival. Couple minuses… I didn’t feel valued or acknowledged as a diamond member and they didn’t pick me up from the airport as I had requested.

This is a beautiful, spotless hotel located in a very safe area of Paris! We paid extra for transport from airport to hotel and were greeted by concierge on arrival. Only one of our rooms was ready BUT it was several hours before check in time so they were very accommodating to allow us to freshen up in one of our rooms. There are black out curtains on the windows and this was THE QUIETEST CITY HOTEL that I have every stayed in! The hotel is in walking distance to Eiffel Tower (20 min), Les Hotels Invalides historical museums (5 min), La Galerie Dior and Palais Galliera Museum (both about 20 min), and numerous bakeries and restaurants (5-10 minutes). We did not eat at the hotel or use the spa area, but both were available for extra fees. We were surprised that we had to pay for bottled water in the room (five euros for a small Evian bottle). The hotel graciously locked up our luggage when we checked out at 10am to sight see before leaving Paris at 2pm. They also called us a cab for a ride to the car rental agency. The hotel is very good about responding to phone calls and emails and nearly all the staff spoke both French and English. This hotel is pricey but WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

The best night manager in Paris! Due to a mix up with keys I was left with nowhere to stay at 12.30am. After calling about 50 hotels and getting (the usual) I’m sorry but we’re full from the night
Manager (not wanting to bother with checking in new clients during the night), I called this hotel and was greeting by a man called Mix! What a relief! Welcoming, reassuring and super friendly! Thank you Mix for your help in finding me a super comfortable, clean and welcoming place to stay!

Narcisse hotel review
We stayed here exactly one year ago on an unexpected 24 hour visit to Paris. From the photos and the five star rating And the nearly €1000 nightly rate, one would expect this hotel to deliver at the highest level, not just in service but in quality of food and the hotel. We did not find this to be the case. When we arrived, tired from a long flight, we were greeted by an incredibly helpful and attentive concierge named Julian, who arranged some reservations which helped make our short trip in Paris well worth it. Julian was the sole highlight of our stay at this hotel.
We booked this room through a credit card partner of the hotel who listed the following benefits: free breakfast, room upgrade when available, and a $100 credit for the property. We chose this hotel because of these benefits, and it’s great reviews. When we arrived we checked in and The front desk was unable to upgrade our room (no big deal) but we saw lots of availability on the website for that night and the next. We asked if they had any rooms with two beds, he said they could not accommodate. The man checking us in just said “too little notice” and brushed it off. We asked what was included in the free breakfast, they said “whatever you like, there is not a limit”which immediately sounded great. We were still excited for a night in the hotel so we let it pass.
The room was the smallest hotel room I have stayed in as an adult, shockingly compact for a “5 star” hotel but for the most part well appointed. As soon as we settled in we had multiple issues which made things challenging. The telephone did not work, meaning we had to go downstairs to request anything, a replacement phone was promised before we headed out to dinner and it still wasn’t fixed when we came back many hours later. Also one of the window shades was not working only going halfway down, making it difficult to sleep.
In the morning we were excited for the hyped up breakfast in our room, however due to the size of the room we had to sit cross legged on the door of the bed to eat at the little table they brought in. Again no big deal. However, The free breakfast was not actually free as it came out of the $100 credit, and when it did arrive it arrived late completely missing the coffee order and coming with a single pancake which was genuinely inedible, stodgy and drier than any pancake I had tasted. It took another 30 min to get the coffee order. The rest of the breakfast was fine if unremarkable, especially the pastry which tasted more like a day old grocery store croissant than what you would find in any random cafe in paris.
Cosmetic issues existed in the room too, peeling paint under the windows, and chips in the dishware. The bed was very comfortable.
I’m sure the restaurant is wonderful for dinner or lunch, and sure it’s possible we just got the smallest room and the chef was sick that day, but at this level I shouldn’t have to worry about this stuff. We spent time at several other hotels around paris during our time there and every single one had better service than this one. We will stay at the Penninsula next time.

We absolutely loved this hotel and truly enjoyed our stay here. I reserved a room with an Eiffel Tower view two months in advance, and we received exactly what we booked — room 508 with this incredible view, which made us so happy.
The staff at the reception were very kind and welcoming. We also chose the breakfast option, and it was definitely the right decision. In the mornings, instead of wasting time looking for bakeries or cafés, we could simply go downstairs and enjoy a very good breakfast before starting the day in Paris. I’m attaching some photos below.
The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is located so perfectly that some evenings we didn’t even feel like walking to the Eiffel Tower because the view from our room was just as beautiful as seeing it up close.
The room itself was wonderful and had everything we needed: a kettle, coffee, cream, minibar, air conditioning, comfortable slippers, bathrobes, and plenty of clean towels. The shower was amazing — the water was always perfectly hot, which made coming back after long walks around Paris even more enjoyable.
The cleanliness was excellent. Rooms are cleaned daily upon request if you ask the cleaning staff on the floor or simply remove the “Do Not Disturb” sign. Everyone was friendly, the rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the whole atmosphere was wonderful.
It was a beautiful trip, and we will gladly recommend this hotel to others!

We spent 13 nights at this superb little hotel during the sweltering summer of 2026. We will be back. First, the hotel staff is extremely accommodating and highly customer focused. The place is modern, very clean, and perfectly AIR CONDITIONED. If you want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a busy neighborhood surrounded by street noises, then this is definitely NOT the place for you. It's located on a narrow one-way street, is very quiet, and the excellent climate control in the room barely made a whisper as it worked to keep our room comfy. Our balcony overlooked the lush central garden, and if we leaned out over the rail, we could glimpse the Eiffel Tower. Breakfast offered a full range of options including scrambled eggs, sausages, and bacon in addition to lighter fare. Of course there were croissants and other pastries. It's located a block and a half from the La Tour-Maubourg Line 8 Metro station, giving easy access to anywhere in the city. A couple of blocks in the opposite direction takes you to the very active Rue Cler market street. There are numerous wonderful restaurants and other shops within a short walk. We highly recommend it.

Very good location, a safe place to stay, clean but a minimalist room. We stayed in the "executive twin room". It was a very small and simple room, but at least the beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. There was no view. Other than that, I would categorize this hotel as "passable" and suitable for couple of days.

The location is amazing, and the Eiffel Tower view is beautiful. The room was also clean and tidy.
Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing for the price. We arrived late at night, and the front desk staff wasn’t very friendly or helpful. They didn’t explain that the room key had to be inserted for the electricity to work, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. The air conditioning also didn’t work properly, making the room uncomfortable during our summer stay.
The morning staff was much nicer and kindly stored our luggage, which we appreciated. Great location, but better service and functioning AC are needed to justify the cost.
Thora Holm★★★★★
We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The rooms have great air conditioning, large comfortable beds, and are quiet. The location is close to shops, restaurants, and grocery stores, as well as easy walking distances to metro stops, the Eiffel Tower and some museums. We used the metro and walking the most, but also took taxis a couple of times; scheduling them through the front reception. There is a clean laundry mat across the street from the front entrance, or the hotel will do laundry for you.

Had a fabulous time! We would recommend for many reasons: quiet street, one block from Seine, walking distance to Eiffel Tower, Seine, and a little farther from the Louvre & Notre Dame but still walkable. Hotel is very nice and accommodating. Excellent communication and amenities! Clean rooms, good layout for bathroom with separate toilette room. The lobby also has toilettes for guests. We love the spiral staircase, two elevators and the lobby. The music in the lobby is a nice touch!

I loved our stay here! The staff was amazing—professional and super helpful. The little touches made it even better—- handwritten note and chocolates. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The location was fantastic. It was on the more expensive side but worth it!

We had such a wonderful time with the hotel!
The staff (Kateryna) is amazing, friendly and they gifted us a free champagne since it’s my husband’s birthday.
The location is great, short walk to the museum and also a really good restaurant Les Antiqures, the bridge and also to Lon Bon marche area.
Everything is fantastic, and we highly recommend this!

The rooms are spacious, there is a bathtub, and shower (which is small). The lobby is beautiful. The front desk makes this great hotel outstanding, Anna Lise and Katerina have been wonderful, thank you for the tips, the recommendations, and your kindness.

We had a 4 night stay here and can honestly say it is one of the nicest hotels we have visited.
The room was clean, comfortable and well sized. It included a bath in the ensuite which was nice too.
The breakfast buffet which was included in our stay had a great choice of cereals, cold meats, breads, cheeses and drinks which would cater to all tastes.
The location was excellent for tourists, being close to museums, tourist attractions, and two stations (one Metro, one RER). It was very easy to get everywhere we wanted to go.
Last, but definitely not least, the staff of the hotel were lovely. They were friendly, helpful and obliging and provided great advice for us as first time visitors to Paris.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to others and, if this level of service is indicative of the Esprit de France brand, their other hotels must be just as good.

Our family stayed in Suite 402 at the Mondovi Luxury Suites, and we absolutely loved our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly attentive, warm, and accommodating. The service was truly A+ and every detail was handled with care.
Our 2 bedroom suite was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully remodeled, with a sophisticated design that felt both luxurious and comfortable. It was the perfect setup for our family and truly felt like a home away from home in Paris.
The location in the 1st arrondissement was ideal, within easy walking distance of some of Paris’s best restaurants, shopping, cafés, and iconic sights, yet the suite itself felt peaceful and private.
What really made our stay exceptional, however, was the level of service. The entire team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our visit. We have stayed in many wonderful properties over the years, and Mondovi Luxury Suites truly stands out. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious, beautifully appointed place to stay in the heart of Paris.

What stood out most was the level of hospitality. The team consistently went above and beyond to help make our stay seamless and enjoyable, allowing us to focus on creating wonderful family memories in Paris.
We are sincerely grateful to everyone at Mondovi Luxury Suites for their exceptional service and hospitality. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable Paris experience.
Thank you for helping make Paris the highlight of our trip.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mondovi! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Helene who greeted us with such a warm welcome and gave special attention and care to our 2 year old son. We loved the location. It was quiet and peaceful while still being very close to shopping/activities. The room was clean and comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Traveling with a toddler it was great to have a kitchen space and a table for him to eat at in the room. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking!

We stayed in late May, early June. Few notes: during a heatwave (95+ F) the AC kept up fine. We were there during PSG’s winning of the Champions League, and while the excitement near Concorde and Champs Elysees was intense, we could barely hear it (windows) and felt safe - even though we ventured out in the chaos. The flat itself was top-notch, we had a two-bedroom with a living room. Everything still modern and fresh. The washer/dryer worked, although a single unit it did eventually dry clothes. I rarely do reviews, this place was just fantastic for our family w/ kids 7 and 10 years old just arriving from the US, needing to acclimate.

We had a perfect stay at Mondovi Luxury Suites.
Our suite was very clean and spacious for a family of 4 adults and the living room / table was big enough for us to enjoy a meal there in the evening. We visited during the heatwave and our rooms stayed cool throughout with good air conditioning. The service was also incredible - everyone who worked there was so friendly. We also appreciated that they let us check in earlier than our check-in time. The location was obviously amazing given how central and well-connected it is and suitable for wherever you need to go.
We highly recommend this place and we will come back here when we are in Paris again!

One of my favorite hotels in Paris. Beautifully designed, intimate and perfectly located just off the Champs-Élysées.
We had a room on the second floor and the silence was remarkable. Absolutely no noise , you almost forget you are in the middle of Paris. Even the sirens outside could not be heard.
The service is exceptional: warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Always smiling at the reception.
And do not miss the pool. A wonderful surprise in the heart of the city.
An address I always enjoy coming back to.

What a wonderful gem of a hotel - it's like a quirky Boutique with it's decor throughout. The staff are wonderful here, very attentive to detail, warm, friendly & happy to help. champagne on arrival, bags taken to room, never mind the rose petals and chocolates I requested for my Wife's birthday!
Fabulous location within yards of the Champs-Elysees and walk to Arc De Triomphe along with the restaurant and bars and then you have Franklin D Roosevelt Metro on your doorstep, making it so easy to get around - 4 stops and you are at the Eiffel Tower in 10 minutes.
The hotel boasts a lovely little swimming pool & Hammam which is perfect for relaxing. Breakfast is so much more than your traditional Continental Breakfast and the Afternoon Tea between 3-5pm is a wonderful touch, which you can use together with other hotels in the same chain when out and about.
If you want an unforgettable stay then you need room 72 with it's own terraced balcony with views of the Eiffel Tower.
We don't think you will beat this hotel for location, facilities and most important of all; excellent, warm, friendly staff.
Rest assured we shall be back!!

Wow. What a great boutique hotel near the 8th arrondissement of Paris. Phenomenal location, Phenomenal staff, and Phenomenal rooms. The reception team were wonderful and were great to talk to providing insight to local events and information worth knowing. The room was beautiful too with the lights above the bed, cute lamps which chime lightly from the flow of the AC (which if you need some noise to sleep, is a nice plus). They gave us a handwritten note, flowers, and macarons in our room when we arrived. The pool was amazing too and a pleasant break from the heat wave. I can't say anything bad about this place except next time I'm going to upgrade my family room with balcony on the 6th floor to the suite on the 7th floor instead!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable. From the moment we arrived until the time we departed, every person we encountered was genuinely warm, welcoming, and kind. We honestly did not have a single negative experience.
A very special thank you to Adam and to the wonderful woman in the restaurant—whose name we believe is Kamandu. They are truly beautiful people, not just because of the exceptional service they provided, but because of the genuine care, kindness, and warmth they shared with us. They made us feel valued, comfortable, and at home.
It is clear that your team takes great pride in creating an outstanding guest experience, and it shows in every interaction. Please extend our sincere appreciation to everyone. We will always remember the hospitality we received and look forward to returning.
With heartfelt gratitude,

This is a wonderful hotel in a convenient neighborhood. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. If traveling with a family, try to secure the 8th floor - a standard room with a queen bed that connects via hallway with a small room with two double beds. In between is plenty of storage space, bathroom, refrigerator. The room also has stunning views of the Eiffel Tower from the room with two doubles. The only drawback is the elevator only goes has high as the seventh floor, but staff were happy to help with luggage and the room offered tremendous privacy.

My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was dirty upon check-in, and the level of cleanliness was completely unacceptable.
When I reported the issue to the receptionist immediately after entering the room, his response was rude and unprofessional. Instead of addressing my complaint, he said, “You must have used the room, so of course it got dirty.” This was an unacceptable and disrespectful way to treat a guest, especially since I had just checked in.
In addition, we were not given the room type that we had originally booked. The staff were unhelpful and unwilling to resolve any issues. In fact, several other guests were also complaining about the same problems, yet the employees showed no interest in helping anyone.
What made the situation even worse was that my personal belongings were moved from one room to another without my knowledge or prior consent. This is completely unacceptable and a serious violation of a guest’s privacy and trust.
Overall, there was not a single positive aspect of this hotel. Poor cleanliness, rude staff, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for guests made this one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I would never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Had a great time at this hotel and would love to stay there again.
The team has gone above and beyond to answer all of our requests.
A special thank you to Didier from reception and Habiba from housekeeping!!
Also a great location close to main attractions and lovely cafes, boutiques around.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a great experience with the hotel itself. I hadn't booked a room with a balcony or street view BUT did not expect to be staring at a concrete wall and filthy outdoor area plus into other peoples rooms - so some feedback for the hotel would be to make the courtyard a garden perhaps so it's something pleasant for people to look at instead of concrete! When I asked the hotel if I could upgrade rooms as I wasn't happy with the room. They sent me around in circles asking me to come back later on to speak to the manager then the following morning they asked me to come back later again to speak to a different manager anyway in the end the end they were fully booked for 3 out of the 5 nights that I was there, so I can fully appreciate they could not move me, however, they were extremely dismissive of me. I decided to leave the hotel because I hated the room so much and didn't want to stay another night. The manager was standing at reception when I went to leave and I explained that I disliked my room so much so that I've paid to go stay at another hotel and her first reaction was to let me know there would be absolutely no refund - which I didn't even ask for and Booking.com were handling on my behalf anyway. She was really rude and dismissive which was very disappointing! Very poor customer service on her part. I won't be returning which is a shame.

Worst experience for years
Firstly all the reviews in regards to not have a room available at 3pm is a fact. Not a one off case. It’s a business. No one gets their room at 3pm. If you are lucky you will get at 5pm. If you are unlucky like me, you will get your room card , they will send you to your room and the housekeeper will shout at you to go back to the reception. Then the receptionist will call someone for support and an arrogant lady will arrive who whatever you say to her she laughs. When eventually you get your room, you won’t sleep for the whole night. Unbearable noises from technical errors from higher floors will occur and when you report this to the reception, they will respond to you, that indeed you are right, more people reported this, but we cannot help you as we do not have any technician. The rooms are old and horrible btw.
Just stay away from this hotel.

I had a very disappointing experience at Hôtel Castiglione — and unfortunately, this was already my second negative stay here.
I arrived at 5:00 PM, while check-in officially starts at 3:00 PM, but my room was still not ready. I was asked to wait 1.5 hours, and even at 7:00 PM the room was still not available. Each time, the staff blamed my “late reservation,” which is simply not a valid explanation for such a delay.
The attitude of the staff and the manager was extremely disappointing — rude, defensive, and completely lacking empathy. I was traveling with a small child who was tired, hungry, and crying, yet no effort was made to assist or prioritize the situation.
What shocked me the most was how our luggage was handled. The manager stated that the staff had “finished their work,” left our luggage near the elevator, and told us to carry it ourselves. We had to take our suitcases upstairs on our own.
To make matters worse, when we finally reached the room, the key did not work. And when I finally entered the room, I was met with yet another disappointment — the bed linen looked old and not fresh, with hairs on it.
These are not minor issues — this reflects a serious lack of professionalism, poor management, and complete disregard for guest experience.
During my previous stay, I also experienced serious issues, including a strong sewage smell and malfunctioning air conditioning/heating, which were never properly resolved.
This clearly shows a pattern of poor service.
I do not recommend this hotel.

When we arrived, with luggage in hand, we were greeted at the front door by the desk agent. Upon checking in he surprised us with a free upgrade to a deluxe room and we were extremely pleased with our accomodations. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was spacious. We stayed in room 588, and had a nice little balcony to which each morning we would open the window to drink our espresso. The location of the property is tucked away in the eastern portion of the 8th arrondissement. The neighborhood is very quiet and there was a store nearby to get essentials and also a boulangerie right around the block to get your morning pastry.
The location is very convenient, La Madeleine is a 5 minute walk, Place de la Concorde, Tuileries Gardens, and the Louvre are all about 20-25 minutes away on foot. If you need the public transport the Auber RER station is 5 minutes away, and there are other metro stations very close. I can't recommend this hotel enough!!

Hotel Queen Mary in Paris was an absolute perfect choice. The location is excellent – close to everything, yet in a quiet and safe area, which really matters in a busy city like Paris. The hotel itself is stylish, elegant, very clean and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable, cozy, and exactly what you need for a great stay.
What truly makes this place exceptional, however, is the service.
Special thanks to Klarissa at the reception – she is absolutely outstanding. Extremely kind, welcoming, professional and genuinely helpful. From the very first moment, she makes you feel taken care of and truly appreciated as a guest. She goes above and beyond, always with a smile and natural kindness. It’s rare to meet someone so dedicated and authentic.
Thanks to people like Klarissa, this hotel becomes much more than just a place to stay – it becomes a great experience.
Highly recommended, and we will definitely come back 👍

The hotel staff were all very friendly and created a comfortable atmosphere. The room was clean and comfortable. This isn’t the hotel’s fault, but the walls were thin and the doors were close together, so it was annoying when the guests next door were noisy.

The location is the best. It is an old building but clean and neat. The staff is really friendly and hospitable. It is 200 m. to the Madeline Metro station. It took 30 minutes from Orly Airport. Eiffel Tower is 2 km. long. Opera district is so peaceful.

Got to hotel about 4 hours early. Understanding too soon to check in. When desk clerk found out, we just arrived in Paris, he said he would check with housekeeping to see if we could get a room earlier. Meanwhile, he said since the breakfast room was still open, to go back and get coffee and some food (put on our bill). Best scrambled eggs ever. We did get in the room early and the young ladies who were at the desk later were also extremely helpful.

Fantastic stay! Stuff was very welcoming and accommodating. We’re grateful for the gift from the hotel for our occasion as well! The room was spacious and clean, had everything you need. Great location in front of metro. Overall highly recommend

Lovely traditional French rooms with the names of French celebrities, cozy clean and right near to the metro station . Very kind people are working here .Breakfast is good ,not in a huge variety but fair enough .

The staff were wonderful. The electrical power was worrisome. My daughter got sparks when she tried to plug in an appliance (yes it was a French plug) and every time we came back to the room, if the maid service had cleaned the room, the electricity would be shut off. Had to go down to reception each time to ask for it to be switched on again. 😬
Lovely staff though and a great location.

The Staff and Management of Hotel & Spa de Latour Maubourg were outstanding from the first moments we arrived. The room was spacious and more that comfortable. The breakfast could not have been better or better managed. All in all I would highly recommend this boutique hotel conveniently located with all needs and tourist spots easily walkable. One last note - the Spa was a hidden gem and a great way to unwind after a day of seeing the sights

My wife and I had a wonderful time. The hotel was amazing, and was exactly what we were looking for. It is a small boutique hotel, located in a great and convenient area. There are plenty of sidewalk cafes right outside the door, and many restaurants within walking distance. It is also a very safe area of town, and it's away from the more touristy areas by the Eifel Tower. Our room (the Coco Chanel room) was very nice, although it was a typically small European room. One big thing to note is that it does have air conditioning, which was very welcome after staying at a house in Le Mans that did not for 8 days. The staff is outstanding, and very helpful. We would definitely go back!

Everything about this hotel changes the narrative about smallish French hotels. Many large rooms. Friendly staff. New and well appointed furnishings. Did I mention great air conditioning?
The staff (especially Nicolas) patiently answered all of my many, many questions before our arrival. I was concerned that the pull out bed might not work as a "real" bed for a family of four, but the mattress seemed like a regular mattress, not one of those semi-mattresses in the US. The rooms appeared newly redone and the furniture for storage was plentiful. The room got so cold from the A/C that we had to turn it UP to make it comfortable. After several days of 90s degree weather, it was great to come back to a fully cool room. I can highly recommend room 101 that overlooks the Rue Cler and know that it will work for a family of four very easily. The staff had lots of good advice about transport and readily stored our luggage for a few hours so we could make the most of our final day in Paris. Be sure to contact the hotel directly for the best rates (email or their own website).

The Grand Hôtel Lévêque is perfect. The location is great. There are lots of food and grocery shops on the street (Rue Cler). We ate breakfast and lunch either in the room or on foot and there are plenty of great choices next to the hotel. Rue Cler is like a mini Paris w/o the tall neoclassic columns and triangular pediments. The hotel is clean, safe, and sweet. The staff is nice and attentive. They have a $15 breakfast down stairs including eggs but we did not do it. The single room with a queen is small. The bathroom is small. For one person it is perfect. 2 ppl would have to squeeze their stuff in. But I'd definitely stay there again. Once again it is a great locations with tons of necessities for sale on the same street. There is a lot of "life" on the street. Great vibe, etc. Everyone is friendly except maybe some of the grocers are over worked. But we were there the week of a vicious heat wave--93 F & muggy. The week before and after we came it was in the 70's with rain. I did not like the heat wave.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, the rooms were very clean, and the daily housekeeping service was excellent. Breakfast was also very good.
A special thanks to Sahel at the reception desk, who was incredibly helpful and made our stay even better with her kindness and excellent service.

Beautiful Hotel with excellent service!! Front desk staff was amazing. Spoke English and Spanish and were very accommodating. Our room was nice and very spacious with a great view of the street below. The location of this hotel is also a huge plus! Lots of cafes, shops, and markets on the same block and all around. Full of tourists and locals alike. Highly recommend.

This is a great little hotel right in the heart of Paris. It’s about a 10-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, and almost everything you’d want to see in Paris is within a 30-minute walking distance.
We booked through Expedia and initially received a small room with no view, and there was a minor water leak issue. However, the staff handled it exceptionally well — they were kind, responsive, and quickly upgraded us to a better room with a nice view. That level of service really stood out.
The hotel is perfectly located on a lively street with plenty of restaurants and local shops, which made it very convenient and enjoyable. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and offered great recommendations on things to do, and room service was reliable and efficient.
Rooms are smaller compared to typical U.S. hotels, but that’s expected in Europe and didn’t take away from the experience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Paris.
Tips for Booking a Family Stay Near Pont Alexandre III
Before you finalize your reservation, it is wise to understand the nuances of booking family travel in this specific district. The area is generally upscale, but prices fluctuate wildly based on government events and fashion weeks. The following strategies will help you secure the best possible experience for your budget while ensuring your children are comfortable and welcome.
Prioritize connecting rooms over suites. While a family suite sounds ideal, connecting classic rooms often offer more flexibility and privacy. Parents can put children to bed and still enjoy a glass of wine in the adjacent room without whispering in the dark. Always call the hotel directly to request a guaranteed connecting door, as online booking systems often treat this as a "request" rather than a confirmation.
Verify the air conditioning status. Many historic Parisian buildings have strict regulations regarding exterior units, meaning some renovated hotels rely on older ventilation systems. If you are traveling in July or August, a heatwave can make a top-floor room unbearable for a baby. Look for properties that explicitly list "individually controlled air conditioning" in their room descriptions.
Leverage the local parks. The 7th and 8th arrondissements are formal, but they hide excellent green spaces for kids. When booking, check the walking distance to the Jardin des Tuileries or the playgrounds near the Seine. A hotel with a view is nice, but a hotel two minutes from a carousel and a sandbox is often far more valuable for your daily routine.
Check bathroom configurations. In older Parisian properties, bathrooms can be surprisingly small or feature step-up tubs that are hazardous for toddlers. Look at recent guest photos rather than professional hotel marketing shots. If you have a child who still takes baths, confirm the room has a full-size tub, as many modernized rooms have switched to walk-in showers only.
Ask about the "Petit Déjeuner" policy. Breakfast costs in Paris can add up quickly for a family. Some hotels offer free breakfast for children under a certain age when accompanied by a paying adult, while others charge full price for anyone over three. Knowing this policy in advance can save you thirty to fifty euros per day.
Choosing to stay near Pont Alexandre III places your family in the heart of Parisian elegance without sacrificing the practical needs of modern travel. The bridges, the riverbanks, and the grand architecture provide a stunning backdrop for family photos, but the true value lies in the ease of navigation. By selecting a hotel that understands the rhythm of family life, you ensure that your trip is remembered for the memories made, not the logistical headaches.
Paris is a city that rewards slow travel, and having a comfortable, welcoming home base allows you to explore at a child-friendly pace. Whether you spend your days watching the boats glide under the golden statues of the bridge or exploring the nearby museums, the right hotel room is the foundation of a successful family adventure in the City of Light.
