Seemed we were mislead by stuff ( 3 different ladies) on the point what would be at our disposal out of the season.
According to the site - only pool is closed
In reality jacuzzi- as well. But we were told “ pool is out of season but you can enjoy our spa / jacuzzi”
Then after booking our sessions we asked again before entering at the reception what we would be provided with and if we should book jacuzzi as well. The receptionist replied: “ 30 min of sauna and hammam must be booked. And for jacuzzi is not necessary. It’s limitless” then we asked to spend more time at the spa zone as it was not crowdy and it was my B-day…. She called to the colleague and agreed.
A minute later, I was very disappointed founding out that jacuzzi was OUT of The SEASON as well as the pool. ( that is not indicated on the site) but I have chosen this precise hotel for soaking into jacuzzi for my b- day.
Then we were banished in 30 minutes at ( 18:05) from the spa as they were closed, however on the site they must be opened till 19:00, moreover, we AGREED with the receptionist to spend 1 hour instead of 30 min from 5:30 to 6:30 at the spa zone.
I was so puzzled with my husband at my b-day and wrote to the hotel the email that was never answered….
Overall, new hotel with awful service and communication. If you are not French - not recommended…

An exceptional stay at the Rituel Spa in Honfleur.
As someone accustomed to high-end establishments, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this place, which is undoubtedly one of my best discoveries in Honfleur.
A huge thank you to Elisa for her massage. Her professionalism, mastery of techniques, and ability to adapt to the client's needs are remarkable. She takes the time to listen, truly personalizes the treatment, and offers a moment of pure relaxation. Impeccable service.
Beyond the spa, the entire staff is particularly attentive, friendly, and available. You can feel a genuine desire to satisfy guests and offer a polished experience from beginning to end.
The hotel is elegant, perfectly maintained, and offers services that rival those of some higher-category establishments. I recommend this place without hesitation and will gladly return on my next trip to Honfleur.

We booked a couples ritual massage on Saturday, May 2nd. Our massage therapists, Tiphaine and Elisa, were very attentive and professional. We loved the experience from beginning to end. The welcome was perfect, as was the spa area.
Fabien P★★★★☆
I agree with the previous reviews; it's a bit frustrating to pay full price for spa access when the hammam isn't working and the jacuzzi is barely lukewarm.
The spa area is very small, and if you have to share it with other guests, it's not very pleasant.
We continued the experience with a one-hour couples massage, which was really good and, most importantly, I highly recommend it! The playlist during the massage was very pleasant.
Tea is offered afterward, directly in the spa area; there's no relaxation room available.

Fantastic experience at La Plage Spa & Soin in Honfleur! The couples massage was very pleasant, with real attention paid to our preferences. The massage with our feet in the sand created an incredibly relaxing atmosphere. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the setting is beautiful: a true haven of well-being.
We also had access to the sauna, in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Honestly, I have absolutely no complaints; I recommend it 100%. One small addition that would make the experience perfect: a tea area at the end of the massage.

We wanted to sincerely thank you for the wonderful experience of our couples massage. It was a very pleasant experience in a soothing and professional atmosphere.
For my husband, it was his very first time, and you immediately put him at ease with your gentleness and kindness. He left feeling relaxed and delighted with this new experience 😊
We both greatly appreciated the quality of the massage, your attentiveness, and the relaxing setting. It was a truly relaxing and memorable moment.
Thank you again for your professionalism and warm welcome. We will definitely be back ✨

The setting, with your feet in the sand, instantly creates that relaxing, vacation vibe that makes all the difference. The massage is truly personalized to our needs and preferences.
The only real downside? You absolutely don't want it to end!
Marion Rossi★★★★★
We had the couples massage, it was fantastic! We had 45 minutes of complete relaxation; I even fell asleep. The two massage therapists were truly wonderful—pleasant, gentle, and always smiling. We absolutely loved the beach atmosphere with the sand on the floor; it's original and out of the ordinary, and it was really great! We also enjoyed the sauna; it was amazing—a small, personalized room, it was truly wonderful! Thank you for this relaxing experience!

Luba Podgayskaya★★★☆☆
We stayed in this hotel during our trip across the France as I was looking for a place with wellness.
I give 3 stars because the rooms are incredibly beautiful, the communication is a disaster.
Because of the “misunderstandings” we couldn’t visit the spa, which was the reason we came.
Also we had to pay for the breakfast while we asked them in the evening “Is the breakfast included?” and the receptionist said “Yes”. On the check-out however I had to pay 50eur more for the breakfast.

A welcoming spa in an environment designed for relaxation and well-being.
The spa features a small hammam, a small sauna, a jacuzzi, a massage jet bench, and additional massage jets on either side of the pool.
There are lounge chairs both indoors and outdoors. Tea and a water fountain are available.
A bathrobe, a towel, and reusable flip-flops are provided per person (we stayed at the Manoir de la Poterie hotel, which is owned by the same company).
A locker is provided for each room.
Lucie Baragoin★★★★★
Exceptional! My mother and I had a wonderful time. From the location and the massage to the attentive staff, everything was perfect! The customized couples massage and half-day access to the spa provided a truly relaxing experience. I highly recommend it!
Karine ALEXIS★★☆☆☆
Booking for treatments and massages at the Spa, thank you to Laura for her professionalism and the quality of her service, which made up for the disappointment of the snack bar. The quality and presentation of the products were disappointing considering the establishment. We were left alone in a large room with intermittent music and no follow-up whatsoever. Thank goodness for the bell at reception! Sir/Madam, owner of the establishment, please be more discreet in your conversations when you are near customers. We are not here to listen to you, but rather to relax. Politeness towards your staff and customers is clearly not one of your strong points.

A superb, very pleasant and peaceful place. We were welcomed by Enzo who explained how to use the chalet's amenities (jacuzzi, cinema area, etc.). Upon our arrival, the evening table was set, and the dishes were in the refrigerator for dinner. Very good, very cozy place. Tastefully decorated. Don't forget the map provided by the owner, as the little love nest is surrounded by nature, and our GPS got a bit lost. A wonderful experience that we'd love to repeat. Ideal for a romantic getaway.

We had a wonderful time, thank you for the couples massage/treatment; we left feeling completely relaxed. The spa area was also lovely, with its heated indoor pool, sauna, and steam room. Thank you for the warm welcome and this relaxing experience!

Very average. No reception, no secure lockers to leave your bags safely. The pool was barely warm, and the sauna wasn't working. No drinks like tea or cold water in the relaxation area. For the price, it's disappointing.
On the other hand, the massage was very pleasant. The masseuses were smiling and kind. I recommend the massages but not the "spa" area.

We held a private seminar at the venue and were able to enjoy the spa and pool. Seely, the spa manager, was attentive and incredibly friendly. The 30-minute oil massage was AMAZING. Extremely relaxing and invigorating.
The spa was clean and offered a complete escape. I highly recommend it!
Guillaume Guersan★★★★★
My wife and I had a Day Spa treatment and it was fantastic. For the price (€95 per person), I think it's reasonable: a wonderful 30-minute couples massage, a lovely meal on the terrace of the small courtyard, and they made it easy for my wife, who was pregnant! The day access to the pool was a real bonus. The staff were excellent and what a beautiful place!
Charlotte★★★★★
A magnificent place to relax. We chose a romantic getaway with access to the private spa and a couples hot oil massage. The staff was lovely, and the chef treated us to a delicious champagne snack. The ambiance was refined, and the spa was tastefully decorated. The massage was divine. To finish, we swam in the heated pool and enjoyed a magnificent view of the sunset over the surrounding trees. The experience was perfect. Thank you so much.
Pierre Fol'Art★★★★★
Located on the grounds of "Les Jardins de Coppelia," where I stayed for two nights, it was a must-visit to enjoy this spa! Apparently the first Garancia spa, so the signage sets the bar high! But clearly, it lives up to its reputation!
The spa itself is extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and the zen atmosphere immediately put me in a state of bliss.
I spent quite a while trying out the sauna, hammam, and jacuzzi, and the facilities are truly clean and spacious.
There's even an outdoor pool, but it was closed at this time of year.
Then, my wife and I had the "signature treatment" massage (exfoliation, body massage, head and face) with attentive and extremely professional staff! They started with a questionnaire to get to know us better, and then the massage was tailored to each person's wishes. I thoroughly enjoyed these moments; it was one of the best massages of my life! A huge thank you to Crystal for her attentiveness and professionalism; she was absolutely perfect (top-notch!), and also to Julianna who looked after my wife and who left feeling completely satisfied. High-quality products, professional service, and a fantastic setting. Thank you for this wonderful experience!
Céline Aubert★★★★★
A fantastic place to relax. Everything is designed for comfort, and the setting is beautiful.
We went on a Sunday morning at the end of August; there were only two or three other people with us, and it was fantastic to be able to enjoy the facilities as we wished.

We received a very warm welcome at this ideally located spa in the heart of Honfleur.
For our 4th wedding anniversary (wax anniversary), we chose a couples candle massage: the treatment was gentle for one of us and invigorating for the other, but in both cases, it was truly relaxing.
The massage room is cozy, and the masseuses are incredibly kind, attentive, responsive to everyone's needs, and always smiling.
The only minor point for improvement: the massage tables could use replacing or maintenance, as their creaking can sometimes slightly disrupt the relaxation.
A big thank you for this wonderful moment of well-being.

An incredible 1.5-hour massage! I had already had a couples massage there 4 years ago and I was delighted to return. The quality of the massage and the relaxing experience were both excellent. Furthermore, the manager is very charming; we had a lovely chat after the massage. I highly recommend this place without hesitation 😊👍

We spent one night at the hotel. We didn't book any treatments. However, the room was still quite dirty (mirror, curtains, etc.). It's a shame that the relaxation area of the spa is accessible to children. The hammam is in poor condition (part of the mosaic tiles are damaged).

Lovely, well appointed hotel within easy walk to restaurants and throughout town. Excellent restaurant onsite. Easy parking onsite. Most importantly, our rental car broke down. The hotel staff were unbelievably helpful. They translated multiple phone calls with the rental agency for me over a period of several hours, even cutting their break short to assist me. The problem with the car lasted over days. They arranged stellar alternate transportation for me for every day of my stay. Their communication between staff members of the status of the problem was top notch. It was an incredibly stressful situation for me and every single staff person handled it with grace and patience. They made every part of it so much better. I could say many wonderful things about the hotel itself but the assistance of the staff turned a difficult situation into the best possible scenario under the circumstances.
Simon Kerrell★★★★☆
Very pleasant boutique hotel close to centre of Honfleur. Great restaurant for lunch or dinner but skip the ludicrously priced breakfast at €30 per person.
Regina Paltis★★★☆☆
It's rated as a boutique hotel and 4 stars, but I would consider this a well decorated, standard hotel with 3 star service.
When we asked for a duvet for a second blanket, the duvet was brought in, but at the end of a long day of travel, we were expected to put the duvet over the king size blanket ourselves.
The robes provided in the room would have been a nice touch, if they actually fit. I'm 5'4, medium built and the robe didn't even close on me. My boyfriend who is a bigger guy at 6'1, he couldn't even get the robe on. Slippers...they fit me, but were useless for him. The breakfast at 30 euros per person was pretty sparse.
If you're thinking you're going to enjoy a nice dip in the pool or hot tub at the end of a long day, don't get your hopes up because the pool closes at 8:30 pm.
Room was nicely decorated, but there were no special amenities that we could use in this room, which made this an overpriced, standard hotel for us. Somewhat disappointed.
Liz Alex★★★★★
A wonderful stay at this brand-new hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the staff were exceptionally welcoming, and breakfast was delicious. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but we hope to return and experience it next time.
Richard Ring★★★★★
If I could give 6 stars then I would. A superbly located great hotel with a fantastic team who were always pleasant and helpful.
This lovely hotel is within a few minutes flat walk of the main Honfleur harbour. The front desk could not have been more helpful. We had chosen the hotel for some relaxation at the end of a 9 week journey through Spain and France. They allowed us to keep our van at the front of the hotel and provided our dog a lovely bed and bowls for the room and lent us an adaptor. We enjoyed the hot tub etc despite the freezing December weather. The whole team were really friendly and welcoming… plus Honfleur is stunning! Thank you. We will be back.

It has spa in the name but sauna doesn't have a sauna oven so it's essentially a warm room (40 degrees), steam bath had a strong funky smell and was not hot at all. (40 degrees). The spa area was not inviting but the pool was "okay".
The rest of the hotel is good and seems like decent value for money.
You should remove the spa from the name of the hotel or fix / renovate the spa to bring it to a working condition as now is a disappointment.
I would rate it much better if this was fixed. (3 or 4)

Good hotel located on the outskirts of the city but close to a shopping center. Driving to the town takes 10 minutes. The room was decent size, clean and quiet. The staff is efficient but rather indifferent.

Quiet location which is also perfect as a base to explore Honfleur and surroundings. There is a supermarket, bakery and the Honfleur shopping outlet nearby.
We were upgraded to a studio which came with a kitchenette (thanks!). Room was spacious, very clean, king-size bed was comfortable and bedding was of excellent quality.
We enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna and hammam (€6/person per stay). Private parking , plenty of spots available. There are 3 EV charging points which were for free, which was a very nice bonus.
Staff were super friendly too. We had a really nice stay and would definitely some back!
Kunrui Peng★★★★★
Great hotel just 6-7 minutes away from the port. Right next to the new outlet malls.
Staff - friendly and helpful.
Rooms - looked way better than the hotels closer to the port. Very clean and seems new or recently renovated. I appreciated having several USB-C outlets right next to the bed. Great price as well!
Spa - did not use
Andreas West★★★★☆
Clean hotel in the outskirts of Honfleur, right next to a small outlet (just a couple of shops).
Staff at check-in was friendly and helped us book the excellent Cote Resto for dinner.
We didn’t use the swimming pool or sauna but others did.
Breakfast was the usual standard, just the staff could learn some English as she didn’t understand that I was looking for a big spoon to eat my cereal (apparently Covid is mainly transmitted through large spoons hence they need to be hidden - sarcasm off).
Only real downside is that it’s far off from the wonderful old city center of Honfleur which is worth to spend some hours in.

Essential Tips for Your Spa Visit in Honfleur
To ensure your wellness experience in Honfleur is as seamless and restorative as possible, it helps to prepare in advance. The local spa culture has its own nuances, influenced by French etiquette and the seasonal flow of tourism. By planning ahead and understanding what to expect, you can maximize your relaxation time and avoid common pitfalls.
Book Well in Advance
Honfleur is one of the most popular destinations in Normandy, and its top spas often have limited availability. This is especially true during the summer months, school holidays, and weekends when Parisians flock to the coast. To secure your preferred time slot and therapist, try to book your treatment at least one to two weeks before your arrival.
Understand the French Spa Etiquette
In France, spa etiquette can be slightly more formal than in other countries. While swimwear is usually required in shared areas like pools and hammams, some private treatment rooms may offer towel-only options. It is customary to shower before entering communal thermal areas, and conversations are generally kept to a low whisper to preserve the tranquil atmosphere.
Arrive Early to Unwind
Rushing into a massage defeats the purpose of the visit. Most high-quality spas in Honfleur recommend arriving 30 to 45 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This buffer allows you to change, shower, and enjoy the relaxation lounges or saunas. Arriving early also helps your body temperature regulate, making your muscles more receptive to massage.
Explore Local Treatment Ingredients
To get the most authentic experience, look for treatments that incorporate Norman ingredients. The region is famous for its apples, so you might find scrubs using cider byproducts or oils infused with calvados. Seaweed wraps and marine salt scrubs are also popular, leveraging the mineral-rich waters of the nearby English Channel. These local touches offer a unique alternative to generic spa menus.
Check for Couples and Hotel Packages
If you are visiting for a romantic getaway, many spas offer dedicated couples suites or dual treatment rooms. Additionally, if you are staying at a hotel, inquire about package deals that include spa access. Often, booking a room directly with a spa hotel grants you complimentary access to the pool and sauna, saving you money on day passes.
Stay Hydrated and Avoid Heavy Meals
Wellness experts recommend drinking plenty of water before and after your treatment to help flush out toxins released during a massage. Try to avoid heavy, rich Norman meals—tempting as they are—immediately before your spa session. A light snack an hour or two prior is ideal, allowing your body to focus on relaxation rather than digestion.
As the gentle steam of a hammam fades and the scent of essential oils lingers on your skin, you will understand why Honfleur’s spa culture is so revered. It offers more than just a pause from sightseeing; it provides a holistic reset that aligns your senses with the rhythm of the sea. The blend of historical charm and modern wellness creates a sanctuary that is hard to replicate elsewhere.
Whether you spend an hour in a massage chair or an entire afternoon cycling between saunas and plunge pools, the benefits extend far beyond the treatment room. You will step back onto the cobbled streets with lighter shoulders and a clearer mind, ready to appreciate the beauty of the Vieux Bassin with renewed energy. In a town built on the hard work of sailors and artists, taking the time to rest is not just a luxury—it is a necessary part of the journey.
