I've been there several times during cafe hours. They have a wide variety of drinks, and above all, the desserts are delicious. I wanted to try all the cakes.
The restaurant's interior is also beautiful, making it perfect for a break.

We visited for the first time and overall, everything was good. We ordered the beetroot gnocchi salad and the salmon and avocado tartare, and both dishes were absolutely delicious and very fresh.
The fresh orange juice was also great!
The service was a little bit disorganized, but the place was quite busy, so it was understandable. Also, since the outdoor seating is right next to a busy street, it gets a bit noisy out there. Still, we had a great time and the food definitely made up for it!

A special mention to Jorge, who provided outstanding customer service throughout our visit. He was friendly, attentive, professional, and made us feel very welcome. His service really added to the experience.
Highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back!

When you get tired of shopping, have a coffee or lunch in a building designed by Antoni Gaudí. The staff is friendly, and sitting outside is very pleasant.

Without a doubt the best rooftop in Barcelona. The food was absolutely amazing, every dish was better than the last, and the cocktails were incredible with breathtaking views of the city. The atmosphere is perfect whether you’re having dinner or enjoying drinks at sunset.

We wanted to have the obligatory Paella while visiting Spain for the first time. We happened to be walking by Paelleria and noticed the chefs cooking through the window - and we were sold.
The restaurant is spacious and has a relaxed atmosphere. We were able to easily reserve online and were seated immediately. The back room where we were felt a little cheesy - featuring painted portraits of Spanish athletes - but it was comfortable. The staff were VERY friendly and spoke English. The menu had pictures of everything and it was easy to choose what we wanted.
The appetizers/tapas we ordered were a touch underwhelming. The chicken croquettes and the green peppers - but the paella was excellent!
Over all, a lovely dinner and I would consider returning to try some other items.
Sergio was our waiter, and was very kind and helpful.

Best paella in Barcelona. Came here two nights in a row. We had Joana the first night and Cristina the second night. Both ladies are very attentive and very sweet. We had the best time both times. Definitely best to have a reservation, because there can be some wait if they are busy. Don’t forget to order the pan con tomate y paella gambas y pollo y paella del señorito pelado. And of course must wash it down with their sangria rojo. ❤️

I found this to be a pretty standard tapas spot. The service was quite pleasant, and the dishes I tried were good. However, I did find the pricing to be a bit steep, as 50 euros for three tapas, bread, and a Clara felt a little excessive.

We had excellent service at Dora tapas bar. We visited for dinner one night and then the next afternoon for some sangria and olives (both delicious) to play cards. The food was so yummy and, we felt, reasonably priced. It’s very close to some Gaudi buildings and the shopping district and we felt it was priced to reflect this. We paid €50 for four tapas, two cocktails and two soft drinks and we felt this was more than reasonable for the quality of food and the excellent service. Only lost one star for outside atmosphere as its by a busy road, the inside was lovely! Would recommend!

We planned to visit Doras and the food here was nice. Being in the location that it is at, we found it is a bit more on the expensive side for the quality and value. It does have a bit of nice decor.
All in all, a good place to have a meal if you are in the area. Our waiter was amusing and kept things light hearted. Worth a visit

I felt like stepping into another world by walking into Casa Milà. It’s designed by Antoni Gaudi and every room has its own character, from the flowing shapes and colorful details to the clever use of natural light. We took our time exploring the apartments, courtyards, and attic, and it was fascinating to see how far ahead of its time the design was. Even if you’re not an architecture enthusiast, it’s easy to appreciate the creativity behind every corner.
My favourite part was the rooftop; the famous chimney sculptures and panoramic views over Barcelona were beautiful and there were plenty of photo opportunities.
The audio guide was helpful and explained the history and design very carefully and clearly.
If you’re planning to visit, booking your tickets in advance is a good idea since it gets quite busy, especially during the summer.
Kresimir Damjanovic★★★★★
Visiting Casa Milà (La Pedrera) in Barcelona was an exceptional architectural experience that fully justifies its reputation as one of Antoni Gaudí's greatest masterpieces. The entire visit was exceptionally well organized, and the audio guide provided through headphones offered insightful explanations of the building's history, design principles, and architectural innovations, making the experience both educational and highly engaging.
One of the most impressive aspects of Casa Milà is its remarkable state of preservation. Every space—from the residential apartments and common areas to the attic and the iconic rooftop—has been meticulously maintained, allowing visitors to experience the building much as Gaudí intended. The quality of the restoration and conservation reflects a deep respect for architectural heritage.
What makes the visit truly memorable is the opportunity to experience Gaudí's architecture firsthand. The organic forms, masterful use of natural light, structural ingenuity, and fluid spatial organization create an atmosphere that cannot be fully appreciated through photographs or books alone. The rooftop, with its sculptural chimneys and panoramic views over Barcelona, is an unforgettable architectural experience and undoubtedly one of the highlights of the visit.
The only minor drawback is the ticket price, which is relatively high. However, considering the global significance of Gaudí's work, the outstanding level of preservation, and the overall quality of the visitor experience, the admission fee is understandable and ultimately feels justified.
Casa Milà is not only an architectural landmark but also an outstanding example of how cultural heritage can be preserved and presented to the public. I left with an even greater appreciation for Gaudí's vision and craftsmanship, convinced that this is a place every architect and architecture enthusiast should experience at least once in their lifetime.
Wendy Ortega★★★★★
Beautiful views from the terrace. An inside into Gaudi’s inspiration. Easy guided tour with headphones provided with the entrance. Not very crowded and about 1 - 1:45 hours, so it was good for my 7 year old. He loved it!

CASA MILA also known as La Pedrera, is a stunning architectural masterpiece in Barcelona that truly captivates visitors. The night tour inside the building offers a unique perspective on its intricate design and history, revealing details that are often missed during the day.
The atmosphere during the evening is magical, with the soft lighting casting beautiful shadows on the unique stone facade. Walking through the building, you can appreciate Gaudí's innovative use of space and natural forms, which create a sense of harmony with the environment.
The highlight of the tour is undoubtedly the rooftop, where the iconic chimneys resemble warriors standing guard over the city. The panoramic views of Barcelona against the night sky are breathtaking.
Ending the experience with a glass of cava adds a delightful touch, allowing you to toast to the beauty of Gaudí’s work. It’s a perfect way to unwind after an enlightening tour. Overall, the night tour at Casa Milà is a must-do for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Barcelona's rich architectural heritage.
Tony★★★★★
Casa Mila is a must do in Barcelona. The outside view from the street is stunning and unique. However, the true details are inside the building and worth the entry fee. We used one of Go City pass options to visit and bypass the ticket queue. I recommend buying your entry ticket in advance. The highlights of this site for us was the detail attic and the amazing roof top.

Glad we booked a table as it was heaving, and rightly so! Phenomenal food, great service and very cute setting. The fried chicken and croquettes were our favourite. Best croquettes ever?! We had 4 dishes, a dessert, half jug sangria and a beer came to just €59! Wanted to tip the staff but could only do cash which we didn’t have ☹️ will be back for sure!!

La Pepita was one of our favorite dining experiences in Barcelona.
Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented, creative, and full of flavor. The octopus served over creamy potato purée was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. The fried calamari was light, crispy, and not greasy at all.
We also loved the artichokes with hummus and crispy bread, which were packed with flavor and texture. The crispy chicken bites served in lettuce cups with pickled onions and creamy sauce were outstanding and a unique combination we had never tried before.
The slow-cooked beef with mashed potatoes was rich, comforting, and perfectly executed. To finish, the crema catalana had the perfect caramelized top and was one of the best we have tasted in Spain.
The atmosphere was lively and fun, the service was friendly, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared. Our son especially enjoyed trying different tapas and sharing the experience with us.
If you're looking for creative tapas, quality ingredients, and a memorable meal in Barcelona, La Pepita is absolutely worth a visit.

La Pepita is one of those small Barcelona spots that instantly feels full of personality.
The place is super cute and cozy, with a very special vibe. The walls and windows are covered with handwritten-style notes, little phrases, and small figures, almost like the whole restaurant has its own story written all over it. It gives the place a creative, fun, and very Barcelona feeling.
We sat by the window, facing the street, which made the experience even nicer.
The menu is varied, with many options to choose from. We ordered the steak, and it was really good — tasty, satisfying, and nicely prepared.
It’s not a big or overly fancy restaurant, but that’s exactly what makes it charming. La Pepita has character, good food, and a warm city vibe that makes it worth checking out when you are in Barcelona.

A very noisy vibe that I liked a lot. We waited a while to get seated but once in we got our food pretty fast. It was really delicious and the drinks also. The staff is very busy running around and for a while they were swamped by things to do. They rode out the storm av did a great job.

Some of the best food we had in Spain the pesto pasta was fantastic. We also ordered the seafood pasta, a bolognese and truffle Alfredo. All very good. The pizza was so good our son ate half by himself.
Alex Horowitz★★★★★
Bella Venezia is an unassuming Italian restaurant that, at first glance, looks more like a local neighborhood bar, the kind of place where you’d expect platos combinados and simple tapas. First impressions are a little underwhelming, without being outright disappointing… but looks are deceiving.
What you actually find is genuine, comforting Italian cuisine, full of flavor and heart, paired with warm, friendly service that immediately makes you feel welcome.
We started with the tomato brocheta. Fresh, tasty, and excellent value for money. It wasn’t the best brocheta we’ve ever had, but for €6 and a generous portion, it absolutely delivered.
The seafood pasta was the standout: vibrant, beautifully cooked, and evocative of eating pasta seaside on a terrace in Positano. The carbonara was traditional and flavorful, though slightly on the saucier side for our taste, still very enjoyable and clearly made with care.
Overall, Bella Venezia is a wonderful option if you find yourself in the neighborhood craving authentic Italian food without the fuss. Mind you, we didn’t try the pizzas.
A perfect reminder to not judge a book by its cover, this place quietly overdelivers.

The food was not bad but VERY salty! The carbonara was beyond salty. However, service was great. Gary was very nice and would recommend this place.

The server was incredibly friendly and nice so that’s a + but I was not really taken aback by the pizza. Ordered capricciosa without olives and was surprised with only ham and salami - where did the mushrooms and other stuff go😅 maybe it was written in the menu, I might have missed it. Overall it was ok, but ain’t what I expected

I was honestly really excited for this experience. It came highly recommended as a place to go for my birthday.
Needless to say, it was a bit disappointing.
I asked for a food recommendation and was told to figure out what I wanted to eat. I felt like I was a bother because I wasn't taking constant selfies. I ordered dessert and it wasn't at all what they said it would be, but by that point I was just ready to go.
Anyways, it was a beautiful space.

The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. We especially enjoyed the creative menu and cocktails. The service was friendly, attentive, and helped make the entire experience memorable.
Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, a special celebration, or simply a restaurant with an unforgettable atmosphere, I highly recommend Restaurant Gala. A must-visit while in Barcelona!

1) Price: very reasonable.
2) Atmosphere: buzzing, busy, packed house but not noisy, can’t hear others conversation. We are on top of each other, but didn’t feel being crowded.
3) wait staff: organized, waltzing between tables, two waiters seamlessly took care of us.
4) service: dishes were freshly cooked delivered to us at lightening speed.
5) food: excellent. Nothing fancy, cuttlefish was tender, the film and the skin were completely removed, shrimps were cleaned well, tenderloins were cooked to perfection with pink center. I would have preferred the pimiento pardon peppers to be bigger especially during the July August peak harvest season. 2 of us, we had 8 dishes and 2 desserts.
6) there were a lot of people, however we didn’t wait long.
My compliments to the owner and management for running the restaurant like a well oiled machine and for giving us a great experience.

It was a very pleasant dining experience.
The Queueing system was very efficient.
Right after we were seated, they had our order taken and food was served pretty quickly.
Jon was a very pleasant person that made our dining experience even better. He was so confident that we would love their dessert, and it turned out really good!
I would definitely be back for the bread pudding!
Dwight Kenneth★★☆☆☆
Not sure what all the hype is about. The food was kind of bland. The beef tenderloin has way too much hype around it. The foie gras was just OK. We also tried the cuddle fish and the egg on top of the shoestring fries. We also got the patatas bravas. Super happy that we didn’t have to wait in line for this. The service was pretty quick. But nothing spectacular. Maybe I just went when they had an off day. But I will never recommend this place to anybody. We were told to try this place from a few friends as well as an AI Chatbot. But this place completely disappointed. If we didn’t come in here with any expectations, I would’ve still thought that the food was super bland.
P N★★★★☆
This place is a massive hotspot! They don’t take any reservations, you absolutely have to arrive early to queue up. The average wait time is easily over 30 minutes. My advice is to put your name down early and explore the area; the restaurant is tucked away just off a main avenue, surrounded by plenty of great shops and other restaurants to pass the time.
On our last visit, we waited nearly 60 minutes. The atmosphere outside was absolutely fantastic and well worth the wait.
The seafood here is highly recommended. We ordered the grilled squid (Calamar a la Plancha), the anchovy and tomato salad (Ensalada de Tomate con Anchoas), and the Spanish razor clams (Navajas), along with a lPadrón and mini hot dogs. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful.
I didn't realize until after doing some research later that their steak with foie gras toast (Solomillo con Foie) is also one of their legendary dishes—I missed out on it this time, but I will definitely try it on my next visit!
As for dessert, it was nothing special. I’d recommend saving your stomach quota and heading to a nearby gelato shop or finding a proper Basque cheesecake instead. Overall, it's a must-visit for tapas lovers in the city!
PS- Compared to Cervecería Catalana, I actually prefer Vinitus, another restaurant under the same group which is also located nearby. The food quality is just as amazing, and I personally enjoyed the overall vibe and dining experience there a bit more.

The food was good, but unfortunately the service was terrible.
We arrived on a Wednesday without a reservation. There were several empty tables, and we were told they were reserved for walk-in customers. Since we were a walk-in group, that seemed fine.
The problem started when the staff made a big issue about the size of our group. They kept saying they needed the tables to remain available and that we had to order food. We repeatedly told them that we were there specifically to eat and were ordering food, but they still made us feel as though we were inconveniencing them or simply taking up space.
What made the experience even more frustrating was the inconsistent communication. The waitress told us one thing, but when we asked to speak to the manager, we received a different explanation. At no point did anyone make us feel welcome. Instead, we felt like they assumed we were wasting their time, despite being paying customers.
To make matters worse, part of our group had already paid and left. When we received the remaining bill, it wasn't clear whether the amount shown was the balance still owed or the total bill. When we politely asked the male waiter for clarification, he responded with a very rude attitude instead of simply explaining it.
The food was enjoyable, but the poor service and dismissive treatment completely overshadowed the experience.

Discovered Maldita Barra, a charming café/wine bar in Barcelona, and had an incredible brunch experience! I ordered a flat white and their focaccia with mortadella, ricotta, rucula, sun-dried tomato, and caramelised pistachio—and wow, it was absolutely amazing!
The flavour and texture combination was spot on—creamy, savoury, tangy, nutty, and fresh all in one bite. One of the best brunch dishes I’ve had in a while.
If you’re in Barcelona, you must try this focaccia—it’s unforgettable! ✨
Friendly service, great vibes, and a lovely place to start your day.

I had high expectations for Maldita Barra after seeing the photos online and hearing good things from friends. The place is beautifully designed, and we booked the private dining room for our group. At first, the service was attentive, but after a while it became noticeably impatient, which was disappointing.
The biggest letdown was the main course. I ordered the truffle schnitzel with sweet potato fries, and it clearly wasn’t freshly made, the taste and texture just weren’t good.
On the positive side, the starters, especially the meat platter, were very good, and the tiramisu for dessert was excellent. Overall, the concept and atmosphere are great, but the main course took away from the experience.

One of the most unforgettable moments of my birthday trip in Spain was dining at Sense Seny.
My husband specially planned this dinner for my birthday during our trip from Hong Kong, and the whole evening was filled with surprises and beautiful memories.
Every dish was absolutely delicious and thoughtfully prepared.
The spicy prawns were incredibly fresh, juicy, and full of flavor — definitely one of the highlights of the night!
We also ordered a cheese platter with red wine, which created such a relaxing and romantic atmosphere for us to slowly chat and enjoy the evening together.
The Spanish fried rice had a rich, slightly dry texture packed with flavor, exactly the kind my husband loves.
What touched me the most was discovering that the head chef is a Hong Kong female chef.
She secretly helped my husband prepare a beautiful bouquet for my birthday, which completely surprised me!
The hydrangeas and peonies were stunning and made the night feel even more special and romantic.
To end the evening, the restaurant also prepared a lovely birthday cake for me.
This was more than just a wonderful meal — it became one of the warmest and most memorable moments of our Spain trip.
Thank you for making my birthday celebration so unforgettable ❤️
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a special place to celebrate in Barcelona.

We almost DO NOT enter as it is less fancy than couple other places near by, but glad that we did.
Fresh ingredients, well cooked with twist of original flavor + its own seasoning. I thought smoke salmon tartar would be least impressive, yet I was wrong. The fresh olive oil & well balanced flavored concurred me! Well recommended!

Great experience from start to finish! The service was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout. The food was amazing! Fresh, flavourful and beautifully cooked. My favourites were the prawns and scallops, both cooked perfectly. Definitely will come back again!

Great tapas restaurant with a creative fusion twist. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavour.
We started with the oysters (Ostra Regal nº2) which were fresh, creamy and very well prepared. The salmon tartare with avocado and sesame was light and refreshing, and the grilled scallops were sweet and perfectly cooked.
The chili garlic prawns were excellent — juicy prawns in fragrant garlic oil that we couldn’t stop dipping bread into.
Our favourite dish was definitely the Royal Slider. The combination of beef tenderloin, foie gras and truffle mayo was rich, indulgent and perfectly balanced.
We also finished with a dessert Tiramisu Basque cheesecake which was light, creamy and not overly sweet.
The restaurant has a modern tapas concept with some Asian influences, which makes the menu interesting without losing the essence of Spanish flavours.
Friendly service and a cosy atmosphere.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for something a bit different from traditional tapas in Barcelona.

Very friendly servers and amazing ambient. We ordered seven dishes and a dessert, is perfect for my partner and I. Would highly recommend people to visit and try out all their dishes! We’ve enjoyed our last meal in Barcelona and will definitely be back! 🫶🏻

I swung by on a weeknight and there was a long line outside. But a solo slot opened for one opened up and I ended up with a nice seating.
The service is amazing. The food is delicious. I may have gone overboard trying various things, but everything form salad to salmon Remington (which I was lucky to get from the last few pieces) were awesome.
The atmosphere is fun and I ended up having a good conversation with the people sitting next to me. They recommended I try the bread pudding as well, which turned out to be delicious.
Overall a great experience. A must do for your Barcelona trip if you ask me.

We had such a wonderful meal at Vinitus! The tapas were delicious, the service was quick, and it was incredibly comfortable to enjoy our food in the air-conditioned restaurant with a refreshing glass of sangria. It genuinely made our travel experience in Spain even better.
A special thank you to Johanna, who looked after us so warmly. She was friendly, attentive, and always smiling. She switched effortlessly between English and Spanish, asked where we were from, and even surprised us by saying “thank you” in Chinese! Her enthusiasm and kindness made us feel very welcome.
Overall, it was a really enjoyable dining experience, and we would happily come back!

Bingo… the reference we took from travel blogger indeed a spot on. We tried this outlet in Madrid Gran Via restaurant during lunch hour but they took no reservation, as we rush for time, we skipped. While we were in Barcelona, we went early and we manage to get a table for at basement level. I must say this restaurant chain has their success formula. Service was swift & yet friendly. We ordered the items recommended by the HongKong bloggers to testify his comments. Beef+Goose liver, Gambas, seafood lobster rice, with Churros as desert for finale. We were extremely satisfied with the food served taste and freshness were of top notch. We ordered extra bread to dip the gambas gravy. Heaven!
We share lobster seafood rice, yet again another winner, rice was well sautéed with well flavored lobster broth & al Dante cooked. The goose liver was way too good, was juicy and melt in the mouth, It was so fresh I could even spread it smoothly on the slice bread. We spent about 50min for our lunch without rush and feeling so satisfied. Definitely worth second visit for this restaurant chain.

f I could rate this place higher than 5 stars, I absolutely would. My visit to Vinitus was nothing short of spectacular.
First, the wine selection is incredible—with around 70 labels on offer, they truly have something for everyone, perfectly curated to complement the meal.
As for the food, every single dish was perfection. The concept is based on tapas, and everything is beautifully prepared and presented. We tried a bit of everything: the cuttlefish was tender and flavorful, the shellfish were incredibly fresh, and the various salads we tried were crisp and delicious. A massive standout was the risotto, which was rich, savory, and cooked to absolute perfection. We wrapped up the night with a selection of their desserts, and they were the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal.
The atmosphere is lively and beautiful, making the whole dining experience even better. If you are in Barcelona, Vinitus is an absolute must-visit.
Food, wine, service, and vibe – a pure 10/10! I’ll definitely be back.

When I’m here for the first night, there’s a long wait, so I went to 2254 which is just next to it. Deeply regret my decision as I came back on the second night , Vinitus is a definitely MUST visit restaurant in Barcelona.
If you are looking for authentic tapas that are fresh, high-quality, and incredibly flavorful, this is the place to be.
The atmosphere is lively and energetic, which makes for a fun dining experience. Everything we ordered was delicious, but the razor clams and their signature honey cod were standout dishes that you simply cannot miss. Despite how busy they get, the staff is efficient, friendly, and handles the crowd remarkably well.
It’s popular for a reason, so be prepared for a bit of a wait, but it is worth every minute. Highly recommended!
Tips for Dining Near La Pedrera – Casa Milà
To make the most of your meal near this architectural icon, a little local knowledge goes a long way. Barcelona’s dining rhythms, reservation culture, and menu language differ from many other cities, and understanding these nuances will help you eat like a local rather than a rushed tourist. The following tips address timing, ordering, and etiquette so you can focus on enjoying the food and atmosphere without unnecessary stress.
-
Book ahead for dinner, especially on weekends. Many of the best restaurants near Passeig de Gràcia fill up quickly with both locals and international visitors. A quick phone call or online reservation can save you from a long wait or disappointment, particularly for popular tapas bars and seafood spots.
-
Embrace the late Spanish lunch. While restaurants near tourist attractions often open earlier to accommodate visitors, traditional lunch service in Barcelona peaks between 2:00 PM and 3:30 PM. If you want a more authentic, relaxed atmosphere, aim for a later lunch after your visit to La Pedrera.
-
Look for the “menú del día” at midday. Many sit-down restaurants offer a fixed-price lunch menu that includes two courses, a drink, and sometimes dessert or coffee. This is one of the best values in the city and allows you to sample high-quality Catalan cooking at a fraction of the à la carte price.
-
Order tapas to share, but do not over-order. Tapas are designed for grazing and conversation, not as a single large plate per person. Start with two or three dishes, then order more as needed. This approach lets you try a wider variety of flavors and keeps the table from becoming overcrowded.
-
Ask for the local wine or vermut. Instead of defaulting to familiar international labels, ask your server for a recommendation from a Catalan winery. A glass of crisp Penedès white, a bold Priorat red, or a house-made vermut over ice is the perfect companion to most meals here and often more affordable than imported options.
-
Check if the restaurant has a terrace or air conditioning. Barcelona can be very warm, especially in summer, and many smaller dining rooms near Casa Milà rely on open doors or small terraces. If you are visiting between June and September, confirm the comfort level before you sit down for a long meal.
After a satisfying meal, the streets of Eixample invite a gentle stroll to admire the modernist architecture that defines this elegant district. Whether you choose a quick bite at a bustling bar or a slow lunch with views of the city’s finest facades, dining near La Pedrera is an essential part of the Barcelona experience. The combination of Gaudí’s creative genius and the neighborhood’s culinary energy makes this one of the most rewarding areas to explore with all your senses.
Plan your visit with a flexible schedule, leave room for an impromptu coffee or glass of cava, and let the local flavors guide you from one memorable stop to the next.
