12 Best Hotels With Views of Puente Nuevo

Perched dramatically atop the El Tajo gorge, the Puente Nuevo is not just a bridge; it is the defining architectural icon of Ronda. Completed in 1793 after decades of failed attempts and tragic collapses, this feat of engineering connects the old Moorish town with the newer Mercadillo district. While walking across its span offers a thrill, the true magic lies in finding the perfect vantage point to appreciate its staggering height and the rugged landscape it conquers.

The bridge soars 120 meters above the Guadalevín River, carving its way through the limestone cliffs below. Viewing it from the bottom of the gorge is a humbling experience, but observing it from the comfort of a well-appointed hotel room is an entirely different level of luxury. For travelers, waking up to this monumental structure bathed in the golden light of sunrise or watching it glow under the stars is the centerpiece of a memorable Andalusian holiday.

However, not all accommodation in Ronda offers this coveted vista. Due to the topography of the town, many hotels are located on flat land where the bridge remains hidden from sight. To secure a room with a view, you must often look for properties that are literally balancing on the edge of the cliff, often in the historic center.

The distinction between a "view" and a "partial view" is crucial here. Some hotels offer a glimpse of the bridge from a side window or a distant rooftop terrace, while others provide sweeping, uninterrupted panoramas that dominate the entire room. Knowing the geography of the town—specifically the areas around the Plaza de España and the Paseo de Hemingway—is essential for selecting the right base.

Staying near the bridge also places you at the heart of Ronda’s main attractions. You will be steps away from the Plaza de Toros, one of the oldest bullrings in Spain, and the stunning gardens of the Alameda del Tajo. It is a location that trades the quiet of the suburbs for the vibrant energy of a historic monument.

The best hotels in this category have leaned into the scenery. They feature Juliet balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows, and rooftop infinity pools designed specifically to frame the Puente Nuevo. These properties range from historic boutique townhouses to modern luxury retreats, catering to various budgets while sharing one common asset: the view.

Whether you are planning a romantic getaway, a photography expedition, or simply a cultural tour of Andalusia, choosing the right hotel changes the texture of your trip. Below, we explore the best accommodations that offer front-row seats to Ronda’s most spectacular landmark, ensuring your stay is as breathtaking as the destination itself.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing stay with authentic charm and stunning views We had an incredible stay at Casa Palacio Villa Zambra. The hotel perfectly blends an authentic local feel with modern touches, and everything was exceptionally well maintained. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the city center and overlooking the gorge, which made for some unforgettable views. A special thank you to Lidia at the front desk, who truly personalized our experience. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and her hospitality made a big difference in our stay. The room was outstanding—comfortable, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely recommend staying here and wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

We loved our stay in Ronda. This hotel has a very boutique vibe. The views in the panoramic room were exactly what you would want. This hotel is in walking distance to everything! The rooms and bathroom were so well designed and charming. Our bathroom had a really good blow dryer, which never happens for me in Europe so it's worth mentioning. Lydia, was our front desk clerk and she was so welcoming and gracious.
Tatiana Tumenggung★★★★★
Amazing view of the nueva puente from our terraza! Lidia and the other staff were fantastic and made us feel at home right from the beginning. The room was clean and spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended!

This is such a lovely family-run hotel with only 9 rooms situated on the cliff with views of the Bridge and valley. The wife/owner was warm, welcoming and very helpful. The room we had was with a view, but not the terrace or balcony. It was simpel, but tasteful and the bed lovely. Accessories was provided - even a toothbrush. Breakfast is A la Carte which suited us perfectly. Can highly recommend recommend the omelette with everything. The only thing missing is that the two chairs and table was in the bathroom and not in the main room. We’ll be back.

Excellent small hotel in a classic old building with views of the bridge. The main door slides to the right so if you arrive and the door is closed, just slide it. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Overall, this was a decent stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but both the rooms and amenities felt quite basic compared to similarly priced hotels. One thing I found surprising was that body lotion was not provided. If your room is not in the main building facing the bridge, be aware that the reception is located in a separate building about a one-minute walk away. It wasn’t a major issue, but it was slightly inconvenient. The staff were okay and did their job, but nothing particularly stood out. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its prime location, which makes it very convenient for exploring the area. If I visit again, I would probably spend a little more and choose a hotel with better amenities and facilities. That said, I still had a good stay overall. With some improvements to the amenities and guest experience, this hotel could be much better.

OMG - the view! The view! Has there ever been a hotel room with a better view than this? I can't wait to go back. This has to be the best location in Ronda. Checkin was quick and easy, parking is availabe (limited) a few houses down, Wifi is strong. Perfect stay!

Gorgeous view, literally! of Rondas spectacular gorge. The restaurant is a must do thing here, the food served up is authentic local cuisine even offering local wines. We stayed over one night in the basic or should I say locally rustic room. We Loved it !

Stayed here for one night. Hotel is as centrally located as they come. Room was in the annex building, and was quite spacious with a large bed. They have a parking garage for 18€. The shower didn’t drain and wound up flooding the bathroom (which had a marble like floor so it made it slippery). And the reception staff was not the most helpful. When we went to leave at 645am, staff was no where to be found to open the garage. I finally found someone after 15 minutes, so just be prepared. Room itself seemed clean.

Stayed for 1 night, the location is excellent. Quick and easy check in and out. We didnt eat but we had a few drinks on their terrace bar overlooking the bridge and gorge. Really nice staff. We'd return and recommend. We had a front facing room.

Were there in late October 2024. Weather was awful, not fault of hotel, of course. Hotel has a great location, could not be any better to discover Ronda. With a little "stretch of rules" you can go there by car for check-in and unloading luggage. Aftwards you should remove the car, very positive, the hotal has agreed a fair deal with a local underground carpark. A little discount on the usual prices. It is maybe a 10 minutes walk from the hotel. But not a real problem, at least there is a solution for parking the car. The person on reception was very friendly and helpful with information. The hotel is a bit dated, but in good conditions. The room was very big and functional. Breakfast is served in "the bar", but this is basically in the same building as the hotel. The choice is not super big, but more then enough and with good quality. Well noted, the fresh organge juice! Unfortunately not very common in Spain those days. In our 1 week trip through the South of Spain we got 5 out of 7 days this artificial instant juices from dispensers, which may have never been in touch with a real orange. Here everything was great. Value for money was good. Would we return to Ronda one day, we would stay here again.

We had a baby 8 months. The room was big with a large bathroom and clean. Although I didn’t like the room, cause it was in the first floor and there was a club in the street with so loud music until 3-4 after midnight. Some curtains were damaged and we didn’t like the extra bed cause the air conditioner was right above it. the location was ok and the service was a bit weird.. Kind but it took a lot of time to take our keys. Our trip was in June and in my opinion, in Ronda there’s not anything special to visit.
Louisa Campbell★★★★★
Great small hotel located in town centre next to bullring. Parking is off site about 5 minute walk away in underground carpark costs €12 per day which you pay at the hotel. Staff are really friendly and helpful. We were in room 14, both the large bedroom and bathroom look out onto the bullring. The hotel could do with a bit of updating but is spotlessly clean. Breakfast is continental style, cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, yogurts, cakes, bread and rolls, fresh orange, coffee and tea.

This place was an ideal location for staying in Ronda. The ensuite room was really clean and had all you need and excellent value for money. The people running the place were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Two minutes to the long shopping street and in the other direction, two minutes to the famous Ronda Bridge. Can't wait to go back 🙂 (and had really tasty home made empañadas)

My partner and I had a great view of the bridge from our room. Our room was quiet and isolated from the bustle of the rest of the hotel. There aren’t a lot of communal spaces in the hotel. We did get a drink in the lounge but you need to ask the receptionist for the drinks. The restaurant had a lovely view. It was warm enough to sit on the patio with the heaters at night.
Mark Gregory★★★★☆
A great location two minutes from the New Bridge. The rear of the hotel overlooks the valley so some rooms have excellent views. However, some don't. Our room was very small and overlooked the narrow street outside. It was dark. The darkest room we have ever stayed in. The furniture was antique and further cramped the available space. It too was dark! The staff were very friendly and we especially liked the lady who looked after the breakfast area. Always helpful and a lovely smile. The breakfast room had excellent views. We went out to the rear sitting area but this was not yet open for the summer season and the pool was not cleaned ready for use. This is a good hotel and if you spend the premium for the rooms at the back you will have a better experience then us.
Nina Peltola★★★★★
Beautiful place, incredible scenery. Awesome friendly staff. Bathroom clean and functioning. Very good mattress, slept really well. Room was tidy, too bad I didn't have time to enjoy it more. Restaurant was wonderful, also the breakfast place.

Total hotel experience was one of the best we've ever had. What was lacking maybe with the room was more than made up for by the staff and the the quality of the food served at both dinner and breakfast. It was the best hotel staff, top to bottom, I've ever come across.
Daniel Urdaneta★★★★☆
We stayed here for one night and it was serviceable. Their two biggest strenghts are location and the views from the public area (only the most expensive rooms have views to the bridge). The rooms are a bit antiquated and the walls are thin (my wife had to ask our next door's neighbours to calm down to sleep). We reserved parking and our hotel recepcionist handled the valet service. We didn't take the breakfast. Pool, turkish bath closed on winter. Maybe a bit too expensive for what it is (but you'd hardly find something significantly cheaper in this city).

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed and pillows, we slept really well. It was also surprisingly quiet, which made our stay even more relaxing. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of delicious options. The hot dishes were well prepared, and the fresh fruit was especially tasty. The only thing to note is that parking can be a little tricky since the hotel is located in the old town and doesn’t have on-site parking. I’d recommend asking the hotel for parking instructions in advance to make things easier.

This was such a great experience in Ronda! The location was great and walking distance to everywhere. We were able to give them our car license plate to be able to drive into the city and they had a discounted parking agreement with a parking garage down the street. The staff was very friendly especially Eva & Paula at the front desk and Magdalena in Pura Cepa. The restaurant was also very good. Loved the red Vermut that Magdalena suggested! We had a deluxe room that was very roomy with a view of the bridge and center of town. Overall a great experience and we would highly recommend staying there!

There is NO parking as they describe it. First of all it cost 15 € per day. (Not included, not free) And It is 10 minutes walking from the hotel. Another detail : Nobody in the hotel knows basic things about Hemingway story in this residence (please educate your staff) And I guess - 4 star hotel does need a consierge assistance? Otherwise the castle and the historical architecture is great.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Ronda. Rooms, breakfast and service was great, extra thanks to Paola for a nice welcome. Parkinggarage available 7 min walk for 15€ Can really recommend this hotel.
Panagiotis K (Mr.P)★☆☆☆☆
I stayed at Hotel Palacio de Hemingway and overall the hotel itself is well-located, charming, and the experience during the stay was pleasant. However, I need to highlight an important issue for anyone arriving by car. Before entering the restricted historic center of Ronda, I contacted the hotel and was clearly informed that guests are allowed to enter and that my vehicle registration would be handled. Based on this, I proceeded. Later, I received traffic violations for entering historical center where Hotel was—which were eventually cancelled after intervention—so in the end, it was confirmed that I had done nothing wrong. However, as a direct consequence, I was charged €80.74 in administrative fees by the rental company, which the hotel ultimately declined to take responsibility for, despite the situation arising from their instructions and internal handling. So while: - The stay itself was good - The issue was eventually resolved - The lack of ownership for the resulting costs was disappointing. My advice: If you are arriving by car, make sure you get written confirmation and follow-up regarding vehicle registration—don’t rely only on verbal assurances. A good hotel experience overall, but this aspect of customer care could be significantly improved. EDIT 26/04/2026: The hotel now claims: a. They are not responsible b. Guests choose where to drive This is not accurate. - I did NOT decide independently to enter the restricted area - I entered ONLY after receiving their explicit instructions and assurances While I acknowledge their effort in helping cancel the fines, the key issue remains that they do not take responsibility for the consequences of their own guidance For future guests: a. This hotel is located in a restricted zone with no free vehicle access b. Do NOT rely on verbal assurances c. Get written confirmation and verify independently with authorities A good stay in terms of location and atmosphere, but the lack of accountability in such an important matter is concerning. Following your response one star well deserved.

Absolutely a paradise, especially the beautiful garden and pool, the delicious breakfast, the attention to detail and more importantly the friendliness of the host and the whole team. The rooms are specious and nicely decorated, the shower is pretty small but it serves the purpose, the hotel lobby is rustically decorated in line with the hotel‘s sprit and the garden is just wow. The location is great, just at the bottom of the town. And yes, one needs to walk up and down (around 10 min) but that has not been an issue despite the very hot weather. Parking was available just next to the hotel. In my view a very nice location for an absolut fair price.

We (a middle-aged couple) stayed at this beautiful inn during late April 2026 for 3 nights. Incredibly beautiful and peaceful location, great building and rooms, friendly staff, tasty breakfasts, VERY short walk up to the old town. We had no trouble parking within 50 yards of the inn each night. Love the history and culture of the place and Ronda, including the arab baths that we could literally next door, the original old bridge 100 feet away from the inn. We discovered our last day that the horse riding school behind the inn (so neat to hear the occasional whinneying of horses) is for the town's almost 500 year old equestrian/bull-fighting organization that built the historic bullfighting ring in town in the 1700s. Great place.

We have just got home from a one night stay and this little hotel was perfect! The building is beautiful ,it is in a stunning and quiet area with the benefit of an amazing relaxing garden and a pool. An honesty bar for guests with a great selection of drinks and a fantastic breakfast. Private parking is a bonus for a small charge. My only issue was the shower is very small, but the rest of the place makes up for this . We will definatley stay again ...we didnt want to leave!

You will not regret staying here. We were so happy with our decision to stay here. It was our favorite place that we stayed on our trip. The whole property felt warm, welcoming, and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Salutame Crec★★★★★
The first and most pleasant accommodation on our Andalusia trip. The hosts manage to make every guest feel at home and take personal care of each one. The room was very spacious and warmly furnished while the bathroom with its large shower was also decorated in warm colors. The hosts serve a generous breakfast directly at the table. The house is located right next to the excavation site of an Arab bath, which is well worth a visit. Adjacent to it is an ancient bridge with a magnificent view of the gorge that divides the town into an old center and a newer part. In future it will be possible to walk into on a skywalk which is still in work. A short, direct path leads from the house up to the old town of Ronda, a visit to which was certainly a highlight of our trip. Caution is advised in heavy rain, as a small waterfall can sometimes flood the path. It's best to turn left just before reaching the waterfall into the old churchyard and then follow the path along the foundations of the old walls up to the town center.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Soho Boutique Palacio San Gabriel in Ronda. This beautiful rustic hotel is full of charm and character, perfectly capturing the authentic atmosphere of southern Spain. The location is absolutely fantastic—right in the heart of Ronda, making it easy to explore the town’s stunning sights, restaurants, and historic landmarks. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, offering everything needed for a relaxing stay. What truly made the experience special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, always going the extra mile to make us feel at home. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ronda. Our stay at this hotel was outstanding in every way. The location is excellent, and the rooms were clean and very comfortable. What impressed us the most was the warm welcome and the professionalism of the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely committed to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. The service was exceptional throughout our visit. I would like to sincerely thank the hotel management and the entire team for their attention to detail and their dedication to providing such a wonderful guest experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ronda, and I would be delighted to stay here again in the future

We stayed 1 night - as I am fond of stone houses and places with history, I really liked the building itself - it is a very special historical boutique hotel, belonging to the family of Pizarro (has its coat of arms in the entrance). The location is ideal. 5 min away from Puento Nuove. We had a car, we were allowed to drive to the hotel for 10-15 minutes to drop off our luggage. Then we drove the car to the nearest public parking which is at 10 min walking distance. The rooms were fine. I found the price performance quite high. I would highly recommend it.

The location was perfect! Close and walking distance to all the spots in town. The rooms were warm and nice. Great water pressure and hot water in the bathrooms. Wi-Fi can be better in the rooms. It’s great in the living room. Perhaps having more WiFi extender. Otherwise we loved our stay here

Decent stay, but if you have the budget upgrade to something else Great location in old town close to public parking. Quaint location with easy access to the main sights in Ronda. Reasonably priced, and decent value for money. Room was a little small and had a great view of the bathroom and the toilet (even though there was a curtain). Door to room and to the windows outside had small cracks which did not feel entirely private and safe. Some aspects like the shower are getting a little long in the tooth’s and require some updates in the near future.

Within 100yrds of "the bridge". There is limited chargeable parking on-site (we were lucky) in an underground garage but you can park temporarily in the Bull-Ring, drop your bags off and use one of the numerous very local carparks. The rooms x2 were clean and fresh and the beds very comfy. There is a restaurant attached that served up 2x superb meals so nothing but praise from me. The location was just ao right being in the heart of the old-town. You really don't need a car if you can get there on the bus or train this is where to stay. Well done.

Kind staff (Miguel), great location and a clean and "OK" room for a 1 night solo stay (stairs to the bathroom). You may park at Public parking La Concepción, a 10 minutes walk and 11 euros for 1 night.

I was pleasantly surprised by the enjoyable stay here. I was expecting something less well-kept, but the service was friendly, the room was large, bed comfortable and clean, and the bathroom new and well equipped. Although the room was directly over the restaurant, the room was well soundproofed and I could barely hear it. The decor is a little home-made, but they put their efforts in the right places.
Milena Kostadinova★★☆☆☆
We have arrived at the hotel tired from a long journey at 8.00 pm. We asked were is the hotel parking so we can leave our car and rest. We have been told by the receptionist, that the hotel parking is already occupied and we have to find a public parking. 40 min we were driving in the town in case to find a free parking place. Even the public parkings were no vacancy. Finally we found a spot on the street, about 1 km far from the hotel. As we have big suitcases with us, we decided to take with us only the minimum to survive one night in the hotel. It was one of the worst experience we have ever had in our holiday journeys. Also, at the hotel's page in "booking" is written that they have el.plugs on the wall next to the bed, so you can charge your phone easily. In our room(208) wasn't like that. The only plug next to the bed had plugged a el. extension in where were plugged the 2 night lamps. So, if you need to plug your phone charger, crawl on the floor and find the free plug spot.... Other than that, location is very good, right in the centre. Continental breakfast: 2 toasts, butter, ham, cheese, croissant, jam, coffee, juice. I wouldn't stay again there.
Chris Drouin★★☆☆☆
Great location, but leaves a lot to be desired in other aspects. We were there in winter and found it very cold, with no obvious thermostat to change the temperature. From our second floor room we could hear a lot of noise from the street and neighboring rooms, which kept us up late. There was usually no staff at the front desk - they split between this hotel and the one across the street. To their credit they did let us into our room early when we arrived ahead of schedule.

We had a fantastic stay at Catalonia Ronda. The hotel is in a perfect location, directly opposite the historic bullring, with the church and old town just a short walk away. The rooftop terrace is superb—having a drink there in the evening while looking over the illuminated bullring is a real highlight. In fact, the view is so good you could arguably skip paying to go inside the bullring and still appreciate one of Ronda’s most iconic landmarks. Our suite was spacious, comfortable and excellent value for money. The rooftop bar is a wonderful place to relax after a day exploring, and the restaurant served excellent food with great service. Every member of staff we met was friendly, professional and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. We also made good use of the compact but well-equipped gym, which had everything needed for a holiday workout. Ronda itself is beautiful, with plenty of excellent restaurants and charming side streets to explore. Make sure you visit the church at the top of the old town and take time to wander away from the main tourist routes—you’ll find some fantastic places to eat and drink. For us, two days was the perfect amount of time to experience everything without feeling rushed. A superb hotel in one of Spain’s most beautiful towns. We’d happily stay here again.
Humberto Silva (Beto Silva)★★★★★
10/10. The best hotel I stayed at during the family trip we took through Andalusia. The location was the best in Ronda: right in front of the bullring and on the corner of the city’s main street, where the best restaurants are located. The hotel is also just a few meters from the famous Puente Nuevo, which gives access to the historic part of the city. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable. The blackout curtains guaranteed a wonderful night’s sleep. The shower was excellent (although the bathroom having a glass door was… a somewhat questionable design choice). There were two TVs with perfect-quality streaming service available. The internet also worked very well. The breakfast restaurant was a spectacle on its own: the view overlooking the bullring is sensational, and there were several gluten-free bread options available. The only minor issue is the parking lot, which is about 200 meters away, but the hotel offers valet service for guests with physical limitations. I stayed only two nights, and it honestly felt like too little time… this place deserved more.

Wow!. What a lovely hotel with great staff and wonderful views & amenities. We stayed here with some friends and I am truly impressed with the hotel and personally I would rate it as a 5* hotel. The amenities including the rooftop pool plus the bar & restaurant is a joy. The views from the pool & bar area is stunning with views of the bullring. The staff here are truly exceptional and go over and above to help you and they helped me when I left luggage at the hotel by error (my mistake!). I would truly recommend this hotel and cant wait to go back! Martin

Excellent room. View to Plaza de Toros. The room was spacious, clean, modern and beds quite comfortable. We had a vottle of cava, fruits, chocolate, and a botlle of water as complement. Especial shout out to Juan at the front desk. Kind, informative and informed us when our room was ready ahead of checking time. We also received two complementary drinks for booking directly with the hotel. The location was great near to restaurants and shopping stores. They have their own restaurant, spa, gym and a rooftop swimming pool. We strongly recommend booking this hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights in a junior suite overlooking the main square and bull ring. The room itself was very spacious, clean and fully equipped. Unfortunately, a music festival was happening right outside our window and veey loud music lasted until 2:00 AM, making it impossible to sleep. However, the staff handled the situation brilliantly the next morning, they moved us to a quieter room for the second night concert, gave us complimentary breakfast, and included a gift. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel right in the heart of Ronda, featuring incredible views from the bar and rooftop pool.

This was our second stay at Parador de Ronda, and once again it was a fantastic experience. The hotel itself is impressive, but the location is what really makes it special – right on the edge of the gorge and next to Ronda’s famous bridge. We had a wonderful room overlooking the valley, and the views were simply spectacular. The hotel also has a lovely, peaceful pool area, which was perfect for cooling down during the August heat. Despite the tranquil setting, you are right in the heart of Ronda, with restaurants, shops and sights just outside the door. Breakfast is excellent, with a huge selection and everything you could wish for. A beautiful hotel in an unbeatable location – we would happily stay here again.

I absolutely cannot fault this place. Genuine, warm and attentive service from all the staff here, beautiful rooms with possibly the best view you can get in Ronda (ask for the Superior rooms with a balcony). Some reviews seem on here which mention a poor breakfast, inflexible staff and dated rooms: NOT AT ALL our experience. Our room was beautiful, clean and incredibly spacious. What we loved the most was the calm and peace of the place. It’s middle of June, the weather is perfect and yet I am able to enjoy a very quiet siesta by the pool.

The most STUNNING hotel ever. Gorgeous views from lovely rooms. Good great too. Two service-related items to improve on (hence only 4 stars for service) are: 1. Remove those sittings for breakfast (Forcing people to choose between 8, 9 or 10am). It's highly inefficient judging from the queues I saw at the doors, and how rushed the staff were trying to clear everything before the next sitting. 2. I was given a 10am sitting on my first and only full day in Rhonda. The staff member knew my booking, she should have made sure I was allocated an earlier sitting so I could get out and see the place nice and early. Instead it was my only morning just gone. Small items, easily fixed. Truly the best hotel and view.

Parking was easy (cut through the plaza into the archway where the front door is) and 22 euro a night. Rooms are not modern but they're big. Balcony view of the gorge is really worth it especially during sunset. We didn't have time for breakfast and they packed us 2 picnic bags which were honestly the nicest quality in terms of food for any grab and go hotel breakfast we've ever had. Looking forward to returning one day!

I pay to receive service, not to endure your rudeness. Having stayed at so many hotels, the service here was truly shocking, completely lacking basic professional courtesy and respect for guests. To be fair, the location is excellent, right next to Puente Nuevo. But that is the one and only positive. Everything else, especially the breakfast and service, was an absolute disaster. Firstly, breakfast is highly inconvenient. Unlike standard hotels where you can go within a reasonable time slot, you are asked to choose a time slot here, but due to "limited availability," you end up being shoehorned into a highly inconvenient, pre-assigned time that may not align with your travel plans at all (either too early or too late). The selection is extremely poor with no warm buffet options—only a limited à la carte menu (eggs, bacon, churros). While we could overlook the poor food selection, the rude and incompetent service was completely unacceptable. At the buffet, we were each handed an individual clip. Since the hotels we previously stayed at always provided communal tongs at the buffet stations, we had no idea what these clips were for. Instead of explaining it clearly, the waitress showed an extremely poor attitude and using Spanish to serve foreign guests. As a foreign tourist, it is perfectly normal not to understand Spanish. Yet, as a hotel staff member, you cannot even communicate in basic English, while still taking it for granted that guests must understand what you mean—this is extremely impolite. If poor service capability is due to stupidity, I can tolerate it, as that is an innate issue. However, service attitude is a personal choice, and this is completely unacceptable. Furthermore, after being seated, no one came to take our order. The waitress was standing just a few meters away, her back fully turned to us, chating with another staff member. We tried making eye contact multiple times, but they completely ignored us. Out of sheer frustration, I had to walk over to her with the menu myself. Instead of apologizing for neglecting the guests, she coldly and stiffly, telling me to go back to my seat and that she would come over later. Even after I returned to my table, she did not follow us immediately and continued to leave us stranded. She slacked off on duty first, and then acted annoyed when a guest politely approached her. To top it all off, during our meal, she walked up to our table and, without a single polite word, asked "Done?" with an expressionless face, and took our plates away. This kind of arrogant, dismissive, and "rushing" service truly opened my eyes. This level of management and service awareness is worse than a common street-food stall. The staff seem to have received zero professional training and fail miserably to meet the standard of a star-rated hotel. Sometimes I fail to understand why someone chooses to be so arrogant and rude; it does not prove your nobility, it only exposes your ignorance, shallow nature, and a complete lack of upbringing.

2 minutes or less from the new bridge/gorge, we were surprised how such an amazing location and so quiet a place can be so cheap. Very clean, very quiet and comfortable with good hot shower and comfy bed. We even have a balcony. Carrefour express-mart a few doors away was very convenient too. We were here mid May and very surprised the hotel was very quiet. Definitely a great find.

Decent hotel for a low price. Located near the old bridge, right on a restaurant street and a short walk away from most tourist attractions in Ronda, the location is a perfect place for those looking to see the local attractions. It's not the most beautiful hotel, but it's surely not ugly either. The beds are acceptable and tv + air-conditioning are present in the rooms. All in all, decent hotel at a fair price in a great location.

Aside from the location, I would not stay at this hostel again! In our room, we had an ant infestation into luggage (containing no food) and the staff had no remorse and said it was our fault. The staff also entered the room without warning to supposedly change our sheets and moved/touched all of our stuff; there was no warning whatsoever. On top of this, the door locks are very finicky and not secure. If someone would want to break in they could. On top of all of this, they have one central WiFi for the whole building and it has poor signal, so don’t rely on having internet access while staying here. If you’re looking for an easy stay, then maybe this place is for you, but stay at your own risk. Hope there aren’t any bed bugs!

Thoroughly disappointed by the management of this place. The hostel itself is fine for the price... has a good location with lots of restaurants nearby. However our room had ants all over the floor that got into our bags and instead of the staff being proactive about it and offering to help they blamed us saying we attracted them? I think the reason the floor tile is patterned is so the ants can blend it without you noticing. The staff also let themselves into our room without informing us which was unsettling as we did not expect that to occur and therefore did not lock up our personal items. Also they claim to have free WiFi however it doesn’t work so why bother. Would definitely choose to stay somewhere else next time.

We were falsely accused and charged extra 50 € for damaging metal bed. As we didn't understand how could we damage it by sleeping in it. We came back, to see what damage did we do. Host showed the bed, we didn't agree with accusement, because it could not be possible to bend metal like that just sitting or sleeping in the bed. The host was agressive. We left without our 50 €.

I recently stayed in this hotel from 19-22 May. It's extremely well located barely 100m from the iconic bridge and bull ring and gardens. It's also very close to the heart of the old town with a plethora of restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours and souvenir shops. The hotel itself is adequate, but certainly cannot claim to be what is expected of 4 star standard. The rooms are spacious but very dated with the most ghastly yellow marble floor with grey veins which looks like huge scratches. Dull and uninviting. Our room had a separate ante room with a sofa and TV...unfortunately NO English channels or news. The bathroom was clean and shower powerful, but that's about it.There are Tea & Coffee making facilities but no complimentary water on arrival! For £130 per night it felt very poor value for money given that Ronda is a small place. The breakfast was adequate but nothing to get excited about. No variation at all, same fare every day! While the staff at reception and breakfast were polite, they made no attempt to interact with guests. The hotel gets it's business from visitors in Ronda from tour operators so has not bothered to stamp some personality into the hotel. The hotel has paid parking. It's an easy 15 walk from the train and bus station. Ronda itself was beautiful and definitely worth a visit. An overnight stay in Ronda is plenty to see everything there is to see.

Superb location just across from the Bull ring in beautiful Ronda. Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The only negative thing was that the hot breakfast buffet was actually quite cold. Could not fault the overall selection and quality but they need to find a better way of keeping the food warm.

Spotless clean, very big comfortable twin beds with plenty of space to sleep for 2 adults and a 9 year old. We had a room with a very nice view. Great location - 5 minutes walking distance to bridge and old city centre

Breakfast at the bar was a tragic experience with the waiter Frank being so nervous and scolding everyone that he showed irritation. We came for holidays in Ronda and it ruined the wonderful image of the city. Products average to bad. Even the jamon was the worst I tried in Andalusia. I am very sorry to charge it to the hotel.

Tips for Booking a Hotel with a Puente Nuevo View

Securing the perfect room in Ronda requires a bit more strategy than a standard booking. The town’s unique geography means that hotel descriptions can sometimes be misleading, and the difference between a "bridge view" and a "gorge view" is significant. To help you navigate the options and avoid disappointment, here are some expert tips to consider before you confirm your reservation.

Understand the difference between "Bridge View" and "Gorge View." Some hotels are located further down the cliff line and offer stunning views of the El Tajo gorge and the valley, but not necessarily the bridge itself. If your priority is to see the Puente Nuevo specifically, you must explicitly request a room categorized as "Puente Nuevo View" or "Bridge View." Do not settle for "Scenic View," as this often means you will see the mountains but not the monument.

Request a high floor or a specific room number. In many of the historic buildings, the lower floors have windows obstructed by trees, walls, or the roofs of neighboring houses. The best vantage points are usually on the upper floors. Additionally, some frequent travelers recommend specific room numbers in reviews; searching through recent guest photos on travel forums can reveal exactly which rooms offer the unobstructed, postcard-perfect angle.

Check the window size and balcony access. A "view" from a tiny, high-set window is not the same as a view from a private terrace or a Juliet balcony. If you plan to spend time enjoying the scenery—perhaps with a glass of local Ronda wine—you will want a room where you can sit and relax. Prioritize listings that mention "terrace," "balcony," or "floor-to-ceiling windows" in the room description.

Consider the time of year for lighting and weather. The sun moves across the gorge, and the lighting on the bridge changes dramatically throughout the day. In the summer, the bridge can be harshly backlit in the middle of the day but glows beautifully at sunset. If you are visiting in winter, check if the hotel has good heating and double-glazed windows, as the altitude can make nights chilly, and you don’t want condensation blocking your view.

Book well in advance for peak seasons. Ronda is one of the most visited day-trip destinations in Andalusia, but savvy travelers know it is best enjoyed overnight. Hotels with direct views of the Puente Nuevo have a very limited inventory. These specific rooms sell out months in advance for the spring (April-June) and autumn (September-October) seasons. If you have your heart set on waking up to the bridge, plan ahead.

Choosing to stay in one of these hotels transforms your visit from a quick photo stop into a deep immersion into the soul of Ronda. Once the day-trippers board their buses and leave, the streets quiet down, and the bridge takes on a serene, almost mystical quality. You will have the privilege of seeing this architectural wonder in solitude, listening to the birds echo through the gorge as the sun dips below the horizon.

The Puente Nuevo is a testament to human determination against nature, and it deserves to be savored slowly. By selecting accommodation that honors this view, you ensure that your memories of Ronda will be framed not just by the sights you saw, but by the moments of quiet awe you experienced from your own window. It is an investment in an experience that remains with you long after you have returned home.
