I've been there several times during cafe hours. They have a wide variety of drinks, and above all, the desserts are delicious. I wanted to try all the cakes. The restaurant's interior is also beautiful, making it perfect for a break.

We visited for the first time and overall, everything was good. We ordered the beetroot gnocchi salad and the salmon and avocado tartare, and both dishes were absolutely delicious and very fresh. The fresh orange juice was also great! The service was a little bit disorganized, but the place was quite busy, so it was understandable. Also, since the outdoor seating is right next to a busy street, it gets a bit noisy out there. Still, we had a great time and the food definitely made up for it!

The food was excellent and Benjamin provided wonderful service. He was very friendly, attentive and professional. We had a great experience.

Had a fantastic experience at La Pedrera. The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavour and beautifully presented. Everything from the atmosphere to the overall service was excellent. A special mention to Jorge, who provided outstanding customer service throughout our visit. He was friendly, attentive, professional, and made us feel very welcome. His service really added to the experience. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be coming back!

When you get tired of shopping, have a coffee or lunch in a building designed by Antoni Gaudí. The staff is friendly, and sitting outside is very pleasant.

Coffee Casa is such a lovely spot! I got the vanilla iced latte and it was absolutely delicious and perfectly made. The service was amazing, and the owner Philip was incredibly kind. We ended up having such a nice conversation, which made the whole experience feel really welcoming and personal. I also spotted their new tiramisu iced latte, and it looks amazing, so I’ll definitely be back to try that next time. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great coffee and genuinely friendly service!
Tomi★☆☆☆☆
The place is very overrated, the coffee was mediocre quality, and the barista on 29.03.2026 was very unfriendly. The place was nice however.. If you want good quality specialty coffee, don't come here. UPDATE: In my opinion, your response reflects a lack of the attitude expected in the horeca industry. Instead of showing empathy, it focuses on explaining why the customer’s opinion is not valid. Professionals usually start with a simple “sorry” — not necessarily admitting fault, but acknowledging the guest’s experience. When you have a 4.8 rating and people come from across Barcelona specifically to visit your place, expectations are naturally high. Not meeting those expectations is disappointing, regardless of the technical explanation. In horeca, you are often judged by your worst day, not your best ones — and this might be one of those moments.

As I was trying to leave the store after adding sugar, the Lady offered me more sweet pumps which made my drink perfectly the way I like, which is unreasonably sweet for a coffee 🤣 very cute spot. Highly recommend.

Brilliant, there was a line outside when I arrived… not suprised - it’s the best coffee in El Born. I would recommend the tiramisu latte, delicious! 👏

Edited review: always mistrust establishments who give you free food in exchange for 5 star rating. The waitress was super friendly to give me a free gluten free banana cake to go, I even tasted a sample it was ok (maybe the sample was fresher then the give away cakes), but then the free cake was soaked the bag in oil, tasted like 1 week old cake. Not worth it. The coffee was ok but you can find a lot better less than 5 min walking distance. "Super tasty banana cake that is also gluten free! Also grabbed the cold brew, super fresh and good quality coffee." This review no longer applies.

We had a wonderful experience at Faborit Casa Amatller🫶🏻The hot chocolate was rich and creamy, and the pastries were absolutely amazing. The café has a lovely atmosphere, making it the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The historic setting makes the experience even more special. 💕

Wow! Great place with great history and story. You also have a guided tour of the hose which we didn't take. We came late and no crowd were there. Coffee was average, but chocolate was awesome, really the real thing hot chocolate. Ambient is vintage from the begining of 20th century with some modern style parts. Really nice experience and sweet stop.

Faborit | Casa Amatller – a perfect pause in the heart of Barcelona Faborit inside Casa Amatller is one of those places that instantly elevates your day. The location alone is breathtaking - sitting inside a masterpiece of modernist architecture on Passeig de Gràcia already sets the tone before you even order. The food is fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, brunch, or a light lunch, everything feels clean, modern, and high quality. Excellent coffee, beautifully presented dishes, and ingredients that clearly speak for themselves nothing overdone, just done right. What really stands out is the atmosphere: calm, stylish, and full of character. You feel the history of the building, but with a contemporary, relaxed vibe that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. Service is friendly, attentive, and effortless - exactly what you hope for in a place like this. Perfect for a break from sightseeing, a casual business meeting, or simply enjoying Barcelona at its best. Faborit at Casa Amatller is not just a café - it’s an experience. Highly recommended.

The hot chocolate was amazing and not expensive given that they are inside Casa Amatller. The seating area outdoors is really nice and you can see the back side of Casa Batllo. It’s a nice place for a quick break during the day.

⸻ If you are planning to tour Casa Amatller anyway, this is a perfect spot to have lunch. The ticket includes your meal, their famous chocolate dessert, and the full house tour, so it ends up being a great value. The food was fresh, the chocolate is truly worth trying, and the whole experience feels very “Barcelona.” If you get the option to sit outdoors in the little courtyard, definitely do it. It is peaceful, pretty, and adds so much to the atmosphere.

Sit outside and enjoy the courtyard while dining on delicious tiramisu and espresso. What else do you need in an afternoon? People watching was half the fun, but the food was definitely worthwhile. They put tiramisu in the name of a reason. My sandwich was simple, but the high quality ingredients made it delicious.
Mike Mikov★★★★★
Carrot cake, tiramisu, cannoli and coffee were all of high quality and great taste. Would certainly recommend. Their tiramisu is non-alcoholic (not a restaurant type).
Jessica Smith★★★★★
We got a table in the outdoor seating area which is in the beautiful square. The service was very kind and helpful. We chose by popping inside to look at the counter which just makes you want to have one of each but I would highly recommend the Lemon tart. I love that the coffee is served like this too as I can be so paticular.

Very welcoming people and location. Everything looked and smelled so good. Focaccia with mortadella was heated and very tasty with a perfect crunch. Fresh juice was great with it. Could not leave without trying their tiramisu. Soft and delicious.

We had an incredible experience when we visited for breakfast. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and they provided excellent service. I ordered the shakshuka, which paired perfectly with their orange matcha cooler. The Spanish latte they serve here was fantastic. They're dog friendly and also offer outdoor seating. I highly recommend that anyone visiting the city stop by here!

The perfect brunch spot. After a few days here, it is the first meal we throughouly enjoyed. The turkish eggs and the burrata breakfast were both amazing. Smoothie was also great. All that at a fair price point. Highly recommend:) there's also two very cute dogs just casually chilling around sleeping and saying hi to customers!

Excellent small cafe very worthy of seeking out. We stopped in for lunch; there was a wait but well worth it. We ordered the Shakshuka Halloumi, it was healthy, satisfying, very comforting. The sauce was right amount of seasoning, very flavorful and served hot. The Trufada iberica was served on hearty bread, eggs cooked just right. A generous amount of ham on top, greens and the truffle paste all combined for a flavorful & satisfying meal. The Carioca smoothie was perfect protein smoothie on a hot day. The Vitamina juice was delicious and felt very fortifying. The staff at the juice bar never stopped working. Our server was super welcoming & spoke English for us. He was prompt and attentive to us and they were very busy.

Fantastic restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and every dish was prepared with great care. We especially appreciated that the restaurant is dog-friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was excellent, and the staff were kind and attentive. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely visit again!
Jasmine Li★★★★★
Every single dish was a hit. It’s a pet friendly place, where the owner also kept his dogs in the store and of cos they named their store after their lovely dogs. We loved all the food that we ordered, especially the Protein Turkish eggs that was paired with their sourdough.. maybe I need more bread for the dip! The dips were soooo good, flavored with nuts and a tiny bit of spice (red pepper oil) that enhances all the flavours. And I got to learn it’s their local romesco sauce - a vibrant, smoky, nutty Spanish condiments originated from Catalonia region. I wiped out every drop of the sauce. Service was excellent, we were a big group but they try to put us together whenever possible so we could share all the amazing food orders and get to taste every single one on the menu. Thank you for having us. I love everything on the menu and to learn new flavour where culture’s involved, delighted my soul.

My partner and I had the best experience here on our first night in barcelona. Being in a new place and wanting to try everything, we opted to order and share. As noted in the pictures that's quite a bit of food and also got two breakfasts to go for the morning. I will always admit when I am wrong and I was so pleasantly surprised at how amazing the food was! I expected a Cafe that got by on its charm and dogs with just okay food, but these guys shut my mouth and I will be going back at least once before leaving the city. Breakfast is my favorite and this brunch theme menu hits all the best spots. Surprisingly my favorite dish was the shakshuka as it was a tomatoes stew with onions, and I hate bitting into just an onion. This dish was perfectly spiced and the creamiest consistency. The fried eggs in it just take on that flavor of the sauce and the dish is a treat. Second was the croque madame just perfectly cooked turkey breast with a mix of the egg and sauce was so good. The sweet potato fries had a dipping sauce that was excellently seasoned. The sauce on the chicken sandwich was great as well with perfectly cooked turkey beast. Then even though the dog was tired they still came by at the end for love. I cannot rate this high enough and would recommend anyone looking for brunch, dogs, and comfort this isthe place for you.
Teodora Lopatic★★★★★
The food is excellent — visually beautiful, absolutely delicious, and with a great portion size. The matcha is perfect. The staff are wonderful, especially the waitress, who was extremely kind. The ambiance is perfect. There is absolutely not a single complaint. Highly recommended to visit. Casa Vicens is right next door, so you can either admire it from the outside or visit the museum inside while you’re there. A huge recommendation!
Czarina Marie Casalla★★★★★
Corgi Café is a themed café in Barcelona where visitors can enjoy drinks and snacks while interacting with adorable corgis. It’s a fun spot for animal lovers looking for a cute and relaxing experience. I stopped by before my visit to Casa Vicens, but the service was a bit slow, so I had to get my order as takeaway since my tour time was approaching. The staff were nice and friendly, and of course, the corgis are absolutely cute! It’s a charming little stop if you love dogs and need a quick treat.
Marina S★★★★☆
A good option if you're looking for a straightforward brunch in Gràcia. The menu sticks to familiar breakfast and lunch favourites rather than trying to reinvent them, and that's exactly what works here. We had the breakfast bagel and the avocado toast. Both were generously portioned, made with fresh ingredients, and nicely balanced without being overcomplicated. The coffee paired well with the food, and the relaxed atmosphere made it an easy place to linger for a while. The café has a fun dog-friendly concept and, if you're lucky, you might even meet one of the resident corgis. Even without that, it's a pleasant neighbourhood spot with friendly service and a comfortable setting. Not the kind of place you'll cross the city for, but if you're in the area and want a reliable, well-prepared brunch, it's an easy recommendation.
Candice Mackay★★★★★
We took my nephew here for a belated birthday brunch as he loves dogs, and we had the best time. I was expecting mediocre dishes tbh, but the food was excellent! We ordered the pink pancakes, a couple egg dishes and an açai bowl, and loved it all! The pancakes are the nicest and fluffiest I’ve ever had! There was one corgi in the cafe and our kids loved playing with her. Service was very good and the food came out fast. Just a note for future visits, they have tables upstairs if you’re not only coming for the doggies. We waited outside for a while before we realised we could go in and ask. It can get a little loud downstairs when it’s full and there are other doggies, but for us it wasn’t an issue. Overall 10/10 and we’ll be back!

After our day trip to Girona, we are back in Barcelona and drop off at Fontana to get a view of the Casa Vicens nearby... We are famished by this time because all we've had so far is brunch much earlier in the day, so this cafe comes along after a quick Google search and seems to have decent reviews... We also specifically were hunting for a place that gave coffee bonbons and this place did seem to have that We order a patatas bravas, a triestano (coffee bobbon) and an Irish coffee and wait The coffees are served very quick The cafe bonbon is top notch, and the Irish is pretty good too The patatas bravas are great too, when they came, but they did take a while.... All that said they did hit a famished spot, so can't complain about that in the end. Service was courteous and professional... Recommended for a quick refuel/caffeinate spot

The Baristas are really kind They even made a veggie croissant 🥐 for me. And the toilets are nice and have paper to dry your hands.🤓✨☀️

This cafe is located in the Grazia area and my friend and I decided to go in for a coffee after we looked at all the installations. And it was already late in the 365 cafe, they were closing. This cafe was still open until 10 pm, so we came here and decided to drink cold coffee and eat a cheesecake. We liked it a lot. Incredibly nice tasty coffee, but the cafe is quite simple. Nothing special, but the staff is very friendly. I liked it.

This was another great find! A pet-friendly brunch haven. Service was great, and the staff was very friendly. Aside from the delicious and beautifully crafted dishes and beverages, here you’ll find the sweetest little corgi who is the inspiration for this restaurant. You get to enjoy your meal while being greeted by the star of the show and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to pet her and give her a treat. 🙂

What's not to love? Brunch and corgis 😀 The food was super quick and delicious, and you get really big portions, so make sure you're hungry when you go. They make amazing egg and salmon dishes. The Shakshuka for veggie folks was also amazing. You'll also be entertained by the little doggies when you're there. We had the pleasure of meeting "Latte," a cute dog lady with a big attitude 😀

I feel like this is a hidden gem that is not usually as highlighted as Casa Batllo or La Pedrera, I would highly recommend it! The house is very informative of Gaudí’s earlier years. There is also a small cafeteria inside and my ticket booked online included an ice cream that was very much appreciated in the heat of the summer. The visit also included a self-guided tour (take headphones), a small exhibition on other architects’ first houses and quick explanations to Gaudi’s other houses. The ticket is a bit expensive but I think it’s definitely worth it.

Casa Vicens is absolutely beautiful and definitely worth visiting if you’re in Barcelona. The architecture is so unique, with amazing colours, patterns and details everywhere you look. It feels completely different from a normal house and you can really see Gaudí’s creativity throughout the whole place. The staff were friendly and the visit was well organised too. Definitely one of the coolest buildings I visited.
Aida Rivera Ramirez★★★★★
Casa Vicens was absolutely breathtaking. I couldn't stop admiring the colors and artwork in every room—every space was filled with incredible detail and beauty. Seeing Gaudí's early work in person gave me an even greater appreciation for his talent and vision. I truly don't think he was fully appreciated for the genius he was during his lifetime. This was an unforgettable experience and a must-visit when visiting Barcelona.
Rachael Shepherd★★★★☆
It’s the least interesting of the Gaudi building from the interior. I’m a fan and have tried to make it to all of them that are visitable. The exterior is lovely. But over the years, the integrity of the interior has been compromised. For the entrance fee, I was a bit disappointed. It was cool, maybe for half the price. The exterior is the best part of this house other than the little blue room.
Thijs Huijskes★★★★★
Recommedation foe Gaudi lovers. Very quiet place for a Gaudi house. Great walkthrough, plenty of audiotour stories (bring smartphone ans ear buds!). Very friendly staff. First house designed/built by Gaudi. Totally different style from for example Casa Battlo. Feels like a Morish (southern Spain, Marrocon) design with Oriental/Japanese details.

Before starting your day, make a quick stop at this local joint — perfect for a finger sandwich and a coffee or more... It gets very busy in the morning, which makes sense… it’s so good that people actually do take it to go.

We ordered an iced cappuccino and an iced latte. I guess the waitress did not understand us at all, because she got us a hot cappuccino and a hot americano. Then when we reminded her, she brought two cups of ice, and we had to pour our hot coffee on the ice, of course it went everywhere. Churros is mid, it’s served with runny fake hot chocolate and not real melted chocolate sauce. Don’t stop here, it’s not worth it.

The food was really delicious, and I especially recommend the acai bowl. I suggest adding peanut butter and strawberries on top it makes it even better. The bowl was served cold, as it had been kept in the fridge beforehand, which we really liked. The orange juice is freshly squeezed, and the service is generally attentive and friendly. The atmosphere of the place is quite modern and pleasant. I would definitely recommend visiting this spot.

The world is catching up to the Melbourne cafe scene, maybe not with the coffee, but definitely the food. Garage cafe was a wonderful experience with the Eggs Maya with the pulled pork being absolutely amazing! The special sauce they cook the pork with & the crispy fried onions ontop rocked my tastebuds. Make sure you visit and stick to the latte or iced latte as it is stronger than the cafe con leche. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The place is not big , but the vibe is charming and lively. It gets very busy on Saturday mornings, but the staff handle it efficiently — they take your name first and then seat guests in order. At first, I was seated at the bar since I arrived a bit late, but later a kind staff member moved me to a single table, which made the experience much more comfortable. The food was truly impeccable. I originally came just to have a açai bowl, but the variety of toasts, eggs, and club-style dishes looked so tempting that I changed my mind and ordered more. Everything was absolutely delicious, and beautiful at the same time.

What a gem. Wide variety of selection. Incredible food. And super friendly service. We got the re-garage salad, the French toast, and the detox juice. Everything was so vibrant and delicious 😋 Thank you 🙏🏻

It's a neighborhood coffee shop with deliciously breakfast offerings! The staff were super nice. I didnt get her name but she tried to accommodate our request to sit outside. I ordered a latter and avocado toast with salmon. The bread was light and crunchy...so delicious 😋. I hope to come back again! Aug. 11th! I'm back! This is becoming much favorite coffee/breakfast place. Came in around 9ish and the barista was very welcoming and very friendly and switch to English right away. The croissant ham and cheese sandwich was flaky and warm and the latte was just what I needed! Very dog friendly!

Tips for Choosing the Right Café Near Casa Vicens

To make your coffee break as enjoyable as your museum visit, it helps to know a little about the local rhythm and layout. The area around Casa Vicens straddles the border between the upscale Sant Gervasi neighborhood and the bohemian Gràcia district, meaning the vibe can change drastically from street to street. Here are a few practical tips to ensure you find the perfect match for your mood and schedule.

1. Look for "Café de Especialidad"
If you are particular about your beans, seek out shops labeled as specialty coffee. These establishments often roast their own beans or source them from local Barcelona roasters, ensuring a higher quality cup than standard tourist bars.

2. Timing is Everything
Spaniards typically eat breakfast late, around 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM, and lunch rarely starts before 1:30 PM. If you visit a café right when it opens or between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM, you will likely avoid the rush and secure a comfortable seat.

3. Check for "Menú del Día"
If you are visiting on a weekday and feeling hungry, look for cafés offering a "Menú del Día" (Menu of the Day). This fixed-price lunch often includes a starter, main course, drink, and dessert, offering excellent value for money compared to à la carte ordering.

4. Embrace the Terrace Culture
Barcelona’s café culture thrives outdoors. Even if the interior looks small, many places have hidden terraces in the back or seating in the nearby square. Always ask if there is a patio or terrace available, as it offers the best people-watching opportunities.

5. Understand Table Service vs. Counter Service
In many traditional Spanish cafés, sitting on the terrace costs slightly more than standing at the bar. If you are on a budget, doing a quick "café con leche" at the counter like a local is both cheaper and faster, allowing you to get back to sightseeing.

The neighborhood surrounding Casa Vicens is one of the most walkable and charming in Barcelona, making it a true pleasure to explore on foot. While the architecture of Gaudí is the main draw, the culinary landscape here is equally artistic and satisfying.

Whether you are sipping a slow-brewed coffee or indulging in a freshly baked croissant, taking a moment to relax in Gràcia is essential. It allows you to absorb the creative energy that inspired Gaudí and continues to inspire the baristas and bakers working just around the corner from his first home.
