Finding a good meal in Paris can feel effortless until you are standing in a tourist-heavy district, hungry, and unsure which storefronts offer genuine quality. The area surrounding the Musée d’Orsay is a cultural epicenter, bridging the artistic treasures of the Left Bank with the high-end boutiques of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
While the views along the Seine are spectacular, the dining options directly facing the museum can sometimes lean toward overpriced tourist traps. For Muslim travelers or locals who prioritize halal dining, navigating this specific arrondissement requires a bit more planning and local insight.
The good news is that the Parisian food scene has evolved dramatically. The demand for high-quality halal cuisine has surged, moving far beyond basic kebab shops to include gourmet burgers, refined Levantine cuisine, and modern French fusion.
You do not have to compromise on location or ambiance to respect dietary requirements. Whether you have just finished admiring the Impressionist galleries or are about to start a walking tour, a satisfying meal is just a short stroll or metro ride away.
This guide focuses on the most reliable and highly regarded halal restaurants within a reasonable distance of the museum. We have prioritized venues known for their consistency, cleanliness, and flavor, ensuring your dining experience matches the beauty of the art you came to see.
From casual sit-down spots perfect for families to chic eateries ideal for a date night, here are the top options to satisfy your cravings near the Musée d’Orsay.

A fantastic spot with amazing flavor—loved the lamb and the unique Middle Eastern twist on the Caesar salad! (4.5 Stars)
We stopped by Los Brothers and had an absolute treat of a meal! The grilled meats and fresh salads here really stand out from your typical fast-casual spot.
The Lamb Skewers: Cooked to perfection—tender, full of rich flavor, and beautifully seasoned. If you enjoy authentic, well-spiced grilled lamb, this is a must-order.
The Caesar Salad (Priya’s absolute favorite!): Usually, we find standard European or original Caesar salads a bit plain or overly heavy, but Los Brothers does an incredible Middle Eastern/spiced take on it. Packed with flavorful chicken and fresh toppings, it completely elevated the dish. It was easily the star of the table!
The Bulgur Wheat: A brilliant side option instead of heavy starches—warm, comforting, and wonderfully seasoned.
Minor feedback: The only real downside was the french fries, which turned out a bit too oily and soggy for our taste, so we ended up leaving most of them behind.
That small point aside, everything else was a solid 4.5/5 stars. Great food, generous portions, and wonderful flavors. We will definitely be back when we want a high-protein, flavorful bite in Paris!

Avoid this place at all cost the food was absolutely appalling disgusting chips tasted like a strange flavour from the oil that I couldn't even understand. The onions tasted foul and off. The staff were so so so so rude including the guy almost sweating directly on to the food. the food speaks for itself truly truly disgusting. Avoid this at all costs go across the road. This place needs learn how to speak to customers and deliver decent food. clean your oil fry the chips smile and take the money.
It smells off!! I am so angry i paid for this

We went to Los Brothers for our last dinner in Paris, and wow — what a way to end the trip.
The place was absolutely buzzing. People were constantly coming and going, and it was clear this spot is popular for a reason. Even with how busy they were, the service was top notch. The staff stayed on top of everything, made sure we had what we needed, and kept things moving without ever making us feel rushed.
We ordered the platter to share, and it was so good. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. It’s one of those meals where you keep saying, “You have to try this,” back and forth across the table. Every bite delivered.
One of the best parts? Everything is halal, which made it an easy and comfortable choice for us.
Huge thank you to the team at Los Brothers for such a great experience. Keep killing it — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Paris!

Loved the chicken here, it was so juicy and tender. We ordered a curry Poulet which came with two sides and the salad. It was a very generous portion and the restaurant was air conditioned (we dined during the heatwave so really helped). The menu was halal and the server was very courteous and entertained us in English.

I love this place. Their food is very delicious and every time I come to France, I drive straight out to this place to eat there. Mix plates are so full and you can even share as the portions are very big. It’s almost like a mom and Pop store so the service is very good. The place is clean and comfortable seating.

Turkish kebab spot that gives generous portions. Came here for dinner after a long day of sightseeing and we wanted to grab something to eat back in our hotel. They do have seating available. Credit cards and cash accepted. The kebabs come with fries on the side and a tasty sauce. They do have vegetarian options (falafel).

Oulala truly lives up to its name — what a delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff made us feel comfortable without being overbearing, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable.
The food quality was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour — you can really taste the care and freshness in the ingredients. It felt like authentic French dining done right.

This was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in Paris. The fact that it’s halal makes it even better. I had the steak and the duck and both were amazing. I’m from Texas and I’ll say it straight up this steak tasted better than anything I’ve had back home.
The owner Beja was super genuine and really took care of me. It was my first time ever trying duck and he was very patient and made sure I liked it which I definitely did lol. You can tell he actually cares about the food and the people he serves.
Great food great vibes and great service. I would 100 percent come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris.

From the moment we arrived at Amazonia, we knew we were in for something special. The entire experience was simply mind-blowing. Every dish that arrived at our table was a masterpiece, beautifully presented, bursting with flavour, and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail was exceptional. Hats off to the talented chef and the owner for creating such an unforgettable dining experience.
As a halal restaurant, Amazonia exceeded every expectation. The menu is outstanding, and their non-alcoholic cocktails are some of the best we’ve ever tasted, creative, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the food.
What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service. Duniya looked after us throughout the evening with genuine warmth, professionalism, and care. After every course, fresh napkins and new cutlery were provided before the next dish was served, a level of attention to detail that you rarely experience, even in many fine dining establishments. It made us feel incredibly well looked after.
The atmosphere is elegant, vibrant, and luxurious, making it the perfect place for a special occasion or simply to enjoy an extraordinary meal. I am still mesmerised by the entire experience and can’t stop thinking about the incredible food, outstanding hospitality, and beautiful ambience.
Without a doubt, this is one of the finest halal dining experiences we’ve ever had in Paris. We will definitely be returning and recommending Amazonia to everyone we know. A well-deserved 5 stars!

The food in the place is amazing, very tasty and delicious. It is very much on the level of a high end place.
Service was equally great and food came out to us quickly. We barely waited 5-10 mins.
On the other hand The atmosphere, although good overall, is not on the fancy, 60€ per plate level. There were no printed menus and tables were a bit small. It is more suitable for a 20-30€ restaurant rather than a "fancy" place.

A great place to eat if you're in the 8th. Fresh products, excellent service. Just a stone's throw from the Champs Elysées. Don’t hesitate.

I had an exceptional experience at the restaurant, mainly due to Pierre's outstanding customer service. The ambience was inviting, creating the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The cocktails were fantastic; I requested a very sour cocktail, and the bartender expertly crafted a drink bursting with flavour.
The food was nothing short of phenomenal. The filet mignon was tender and perfectly cooked, while the octopus salad offered a delightful medley of textures and flavours that made each bite memorable. The ceviche was refreshingly zesty, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients.
Overall, the serene and intimate atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a special evening. It truly was a lovely experience that I forget.

This is a short walk from Roosevelt Station, or about 15 mins walk from L’arc de Triomphe. We had dinner here, the service was decent as was the decor. The kids menus are superb, with very generous portions and will fill any child 7 or below easily. Drinks were super with great options.
Lamb shank was delicious.
However, the fried chicken steak and the house steak were quite dry and chewy, they were not great. That said, sides were all perfect. Gratin dauphinois was superb. The steak could have been an off-night (unlikely as we ordered two and they were the same!). Not amazing but still worth a visit as it’s not easy to get halal steak in Paris.
All in all a great place to come and try.

I discovered this halal restaurant online while visiting Paris, and it turned out to be quite easy to locate. I would definitely recommend booking in advance, as it can get fairly busy.
The food itself was enjoyable. I had the hamburger, which was decent, while my partner ordered the chicken and rice dish, which was particularly well-prepared and full of flavour. Overall, the quality of the food and the convenient location made for a good dining experience.
Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard of the food. The staff’s facial expressions and body language felt unwelcoming, which made us somewhat uncomfortable during our visit. To add to this, we were surprised when a tip was requested at the end, despite the lacklustre service.
In summary, while the food and location are definite positives, the service leaves room for improvement.

Everything on the menu looked yummy, but I opted for the stewed beef with white rice, my order arrived quickly, revealing a culinary masterpiece. The meat, exquisitely tender and flavorful, paired harmoniously with the fresh and delectable bed of rice.
It was a delightful experience, marked not only by the scrumptious flavors but also by the empowering presence of a friendly staff.

We were looking for a brunch place but didn’t want to wait in line at Hollybelly, and due to time constraints we needed to stay in the neighborhood and this popped up in our search. The atmosphere inside is amusing, and the server was very friendly, but a bit unreliable. Our bread came only after we asked and then only one piece per person, we had to order more food as we had misunderstood the sizes of the dishes and then again were brought the food without bread. The tea came at the middle of the meal, one of the foods we re-ordered was never brought. That was unfortunate, because we really loved the food, and would go here again (and order properly the first time round.) Truly excellent quality and taste!

Kehribar quickly became one of those rare places you can’t stop thinking about after you leave. I went for lunch yesterday with my wife, and the food was so outstanding that we found ourselves coming back again tonight for dinner with another couple. That alone says everything.
From the moment you step inside, you’re wrapped in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The aromas of the food immediately pull you in, and the friendliness of the staff makes you feel at home right away. The vibes flow seamlessly from outside to inside—warm, inviting, and full of character at every turn.
The food is truly exceptional. The Istanbul grill for two is absolutely perfect—generous, beautifully cooked, and packed with deep, rich flavors. Every bite was memorable. The 7-variant appetizer plate is a fantastic way to explore a variety of cold mezes, each one fresh, vibrant, and full of authentic taste.
The service was excellent throughout our visit, attentive without ever being intrusive. What really stood out was the chef’s genuine desire to make guests feel like family—you can feel the care and pride in every dish that comes out of the kitchen.
Kehribar is more than just a meal; it’s an experience. Warm hospitality, incredible food, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer and come back again. Highly, highly recommended. Best part - it’s a full halal menu!

What a great find!
Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when it came to translating the menu and assisting us whenever needed.
We sat at the tables in front of the main preparation area, which gave the place a lively atmosphere, but there’s also another room next door with a few additional tables if you prefer a quieter spot.
We ordered the Mediterranean dish and the döner plate, and the portions were amazing. The döner dish came with a small salad, fries, and a side of rice, making it incredibly filling. The Mediterranean platter also included tzatziki, flatbread, and hummus — and every single component was exceptional.
Everything was fresh, flavourful, and generously served. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough!!!

Shahriyor davronov★☆☆☆☆
very disappointed from their service. we just asked glass for our water but they said no.
and also prices are expensive for such kind of small wraps and meals. Respect tourists who chose and come to your small cafe, guys.
Update after the owner's response:
I read the previous reviews, and almost 90% of the 1-star ratings mentioned the rude attitude of the staff. Unfortunately, I experienced the same thing myself.
We simply asked for five glasses so we could drink the water we had with us. I don't think providing five glasses would have cost your business much. How we choose to spend our money and what we decide to drink is our own choice. Apparently, ordering your already expensive food wasn't enough, and even a few cups were considered too much to ask.
As a result, in a crowded café, the five of us had to take turns drinking directly from a 1.5-liter bottle. Moments like these are what truly define the quality of customer service.
Thank you for your "hospitality" and "kindness."

VERY RUDE SERVER!!!
We went here for a quick bite. We were going to grab food and either quickly eat there or take it to picnic at the eiffel tour.
I like reading reviews before I go and people were taking about the good service. WHAT A LIE!!!
My husband was ordering he was asked if it was take out or dine in. He said we'll dine in if that's cool, since they're were plenty others dining in, and was told that we couldn't dine in because dine in prices were more. So we said that's fine, we'll take it to go. But the server this whole time was practically yelling at my husband he was so rude. We ordered a pizza and 2 drinks and waited. As we were waking our, my husband grabbed our order while I grabbed our 2 drinks. The SAME GUY THAT TOOK ORDER AND WAS RUDE came yelling after us again demanding to see the receipt, which he never gave us, and asking us if we paid for the 2 drinks. HE TOOK OUR ORDER!! HE TOOK OUR MONEY!! And then embarrassingly putting us on the spot in front of everyone?!?! What an awful experience!
It's cheaper than other places but not worth the service you'll get. The food is fine/ good. Nor horrible, but not amazing either.
The pizza was very thin crust, which I actually enjoy but some may not. Flavours were good. Typing were also good, I would say not enough but they weren't skipped on either. Cheese was also a good cheese and enjoyable.
I was actually excited about this place, chose them myself, and was so happy to be helping a fellow brother. But it really left a sour taste in my mouth.

Practical Tips for Halal Dining Near the Musée d’Orsay
Navigating the Parisian dining scene requires a bit of strategy, especially when you want to ensure that your meal aligns with halal standards without sacrificing the joy of French gastronomy. The neighborhood around the museum is dense with options, but not all are created equal. Here are a few expert tips to help you eat well and confidently during your visit.
Verify the certification. While many restaurants advertise as halal, standards can vary. Look for signage indicating certification from recognized bodies like the Grande Mosquée de Paris (Mosque of Paris) or AVS. When in doubt, ask the staff directly if the meat is sourced from a certified halal supplier and whether alcohol is used in the cooking process.
Book ahead for dinner. Parisians take their dinner service seriously, and popular halal spots fill up quickly, especially on weekends. If you have your heart set on a specific steakhouse or upscale Middle Eastern restaurant, make a reservation via phone or an app to avoid waiting in long lines after a tiring day of sightseeing.
Explore the side streets. The main boulevards directly adjacent to the museum often feature inflated prices due to high rent and tourist foot traffic. Walk just five to ten minutes into the 7th arrondissement or cross the river toward the Rue de Rennes area. You will often find more authentic flavors and better value for your money slightly off the beaten path.
Ask about the "menu du jour." Many sit-down restaurants offer a fixed-price lunch menu that includes a starter, main course, and sometimes dessert. This is often the most economical way to experience high-quality halal French cooking without paying à la carte prices. Lunch service is usually less crowded and more relaxed than dinner.
Don’t skip the tea and pastries. A meal in Paris is not complete without a proper finish. Many halal restaurants in this area excel at Middle Eastern and North African desserts. The area around the Musée d’Orsay serves as a perfect microcosm of modern Paris, where tradition meets diversity. Dining at these establishments allows you to experience the city’s contemporary culinary identity while adhering to your values.
Whether you choose a quick bite or a leisurely multi-course meal, you can rest assured that the quality of food near this iconic landmark can rival the masterpieces hanging on the museum walls. Enjoy the flavors of the city as much as its sights.
