10 Halal Restaurants near the Eiffel Tower

Finding a great meal in Paris is rarely difficult, but finding one that combines quality, authenticity, and proximity to the city’s most iconic landmark requires a bit more strategy. The area immediately surrounding the Eiffel Tower is often saturated with tourist traps serving overpriced, mediocre food designed for a one-time visitor.

However, if you are willing to walk a few minutes into the residential streets of the 7th and 15th arrondissements, you will discover a vibrant culinary scene that caters to locals and savvy travelers alike. For Muslim travelers and locals seeking Halal cuisine, the landscape has evolved significantly in recent years.

The demand for high-quality Halal dining in Paris has led to a boom in restaurants that do not compromise on flavor, ambiance, or ingredient sourcing. Gone are the days when Halal options were limited to basic fast food; today, you can find everything from gourmet French burgers to authentic North African tagines and modern Levantine grills within a short stroll of the Champ de Mars.

The key to enjoying this area is to combine your sightseeing with a strategic dining plan. Whether you are looking for a quick bite between museum visits or a leisurely dinner after watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night, the neighborhood offers a surprising variety.

By venturing just beyond the immediate perimeter of the tower, you not only save money but also gain access to the culinary diversity that defines modern Paris. We have curated a list of establishments that are known for their commitment to Halal standards, their excellent customer reviews, and their convenient locations.

These restaurants range from casual eateries perfect for families to more refined spots suitable for a date night. They all share a common trait: a dedication to serving delicious, satisfying food that respects dietary requirements without sacrificing the French dining experience.

When selecting these restaurants, we considered factors such as the consistency of their Halal certification, the freshness of their ingredients, and their proximity to public transport. Navigating a new city can be tiring, so we prioritized places that are easy to find and welcoming to international visitors.

Many of the staff at these locations speak English and are happy to explain the menu, ensuring your dining experience is stress-free. Whether you are craving a juicy smash burger, a traditional shawarma, or a hearty plate of grilled meats, the vicinity of the Eiffel Tower has you covered.

You can enjoy your meal knowing that you are dining where the locals dine, experiencing the true melting pot of Parisian culture. Prepare your appetite for a journey through flavors that span from the Middle East to Asia, all within walking distance of the Iron Lady.

We decided to try both the Butter chicken and the Lamb biriyani and finally topped it off with some malai Kulfi. I'm actually writing this review right now while enjoying a bite of the incredibly succulent pieces of butter chicken. Honestly, what a truly remarkable dish it is! This butter chicken had a genuine, pronounced flavor of butter that was unlike anything I've ever tasted before. Kudos to the chef making this masterpiece! আলহামদুলিল্লাহ!

Had a really great experience at the hotel. The food was absolutely amazing — super tasty and well prepared. The staff were friendly Rubel assisted us was very good and kind spoken and helpful and attentive, which made everything even better. The ambience was beautiful and very relaxing, and the music playlist was on point — all the songs were soothing and added to the overall vibe. Definitely a place I’d recommend and love to visit again.

We had a fantastic meal at New Jawad near the Eiffel Tower. The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. We ordered the butter lamb, lamb masala, prawn pakora, chicken wings, seekh kebab, and a variety of mocktails – everything was spot on. A special mention to Bilal, who was outstanding. His service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. He really went above and beyond for our family. The mango lassi was especially good – definitely a must try! Highly recommend this place for great halal food and excellent service. We’ll definitely be coming back.

It is a must to try this restaurant especially for Muslim travellers. Amazing service, love the menu and the food! There is definitely something for everybody. Pls support this halal establishment if you are in Paris. On our recent visit there are no long lines for sure. The staff are humble and always helpful. Easy to get to on foot or by uber.

This is a short walk from Roosevelt Station, or about 15 mins walk from L’arc de Triomphe. We had dinner here, the service was decent as was the decor. The kids menus are superb, with very generous portions and will fill any child 7 or below easily. Drinks were super with great options. Lamb shank was delicious. However, the fried chicken steak and the house steak were quite dry and chewy, they were not great. That said, sides were all perfect. Gratin dauphinois was superb. The steak could have been an off-night (unlikely as we ordered two and they were the same!). Not amazing but still worth a visit as it’s not easy to get halal steak in Paris. All in all a great place to come and try.

The ambience is great..very cozy, chique vibes. Food comes out fast..ate mostly chicken. It's very rich and scrumptious. I couldn't finish all of it..but highly recommend. It's in a very trendy part of Paris. As a tourist I enjoyed it.

We were helped by Iman, and she was absolutely lovely! We arrived a little late, but she still helped us so kindly and made sure we had a great experience. She was very friendly, helpful, and professional. I would definitely come back here again. Iman is truly a top employee!

I discovered this halal restaurant online while visiting Paris, and it turned out to be quite easy to locate. I would definitely recommend booking in advance, as it can get fairly busy. The food itself was enjoyable. I had the hamburger, which was decent, while my partner ordered the chicken and rice dish, which was particularly well-prepared and full of flavour. Overall, the quality of the food and the convenient location made for a good dining experience. Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard of the food. The staff’s facial expressions and body language felt unwelcoming, which made us somewhat uncomfortable during our visit. To add to this, we were surprised when a tip was requested at the end, despite the lacklustre service. In summary, while the food and location are definite positives, the service leaves room for improvement.

Delicious food!!! Went towards the end of the night and close to their kitchen closing time but they were still kind enough to accommodate us. We don’t know good Lebanese food but this tasted pretty good. We especially liked the special tea plus dessert. The mint black tea is nice and the dessert with walnut and pistachios was delicious. Service was very good. Atmosphere nice with quiet music. Close to Eiffel Tower and our hotel. Would recommend if you have had too much French.
Forsan Kais★★★★★
Overall the lebanese food was really delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for tourists as well as for the Lebanese people visiting Paris . The service was amazing. Lastly the prices were affordable!.🙂
TYT★☆☆☆☆
The serving glassware was dirty, with visible dust and even a strand of hair inside the glass. This immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. The food was also disappointing. The meat tasted unpleasant and was extremely sour, seemingly due to excessive lemon seasoning. I’m not sure if this is intended to be authentic Lebanese flavor, but it was not enjoyable for our group. The service was another major issue. The staff repeatedly rushed us to place our orders and later kept asking whether we had finished our food, even though we were simply chatting and enjoying our meal. We were a group of eight and had already finished our food within about an hour, so the constant pressure felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. Overall, the combination of poor cleanliness, disappointing food, and rude service made for an unpleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, I would not return.
Omar Al Madhaani★☆☆☆☆
One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. We were two adults and five children, and before we could even order, the staff told us that we had to order more food because the owner wouldn’t accept our order otherwise. They literally said we needed to spend more if we wanted to dine in. This was the first time in my life that a restaurant has ever made such a request. We sat down simply because we wanted to try the food, not because we were planning to have a large meal. We travel frequently, and we often eat four or more meals a day because we enjoy exploring different restaurants. We don’t visit restaurants just to get full—we visit them to experience the food, the atmosphere, and the culture. After hearing that we had to order more just to be allowed to eat there, we immediately left the restaurant without any hesitation. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this place based on their customer service.
Mahesh Shah★☆☆☆☆
My friend and I went to this restaurant last night. He was visiting from India. We were very disappointed with the lady who didn't even greet well. The whole restaurant was empty and she didn't even let us eat sandwich there. Once the sandwiches were ready, she just knocked at the cashier table and said it's ready. Very impolite behavior that I observed for first time In Paris. Please take it as a scope to improve and be nice to people 🙂

The food was good, but it definitely could have been better. The surface of the kebab barg was a bit dry, while the inside was slightly undercooked. I also suspect the rice wasn’t Iranian, if it were, it would have made a big difference and elevated the dish. The tables are quite close to each other, which is understandable given how busy the place is. Overall, it was a good experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
Fahimeh Vahidinasab★★★★★
Super nice restaurant with really beautiful decorations and the food also very delicious. I tried Salad Shirazi with kobide and I really liked the taste.
M Y Imtiaz★★★★★
Amazing authentic Persian food. The kebabs were so fresh, tender and full of taste. Everything was served fresh and warm. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and guided us on the menu items and most chosen dishes. All food was halal. Had an amazing experience!
Hossein Taheri★★★★☆
We had previously visited Shabestan and wanted to return, but as they couldn’t accommodate our dog, they kindly recommended Shabestan Grenelle because of its terrace. We received a very warm welcome with Lara, and the staff immediately brought her water. We particularly appreciated this after learning that our waitress had unfortunately been attacked by another customer’s dog a few months earlier while serving food, despite that experience, he was still very kind and welcoming towards Lara. The location was also perfect for us, just a few steps from our Airbnb. We enjoyed our meal overall, although both the presentation and flavours felt a little different from what we remembered at the original Shabestan. The kebabs were enjoyable, but not among the best Persian kebabs we have had. Overall, a pleasant experience, particularly because of the welcoming service and genuinely dog-friendly attitude.

We had a wonderful Sunday brunch here and really enjoyed the whole experience. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The service was quick, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. A special mention to the crispy chicken and avocado burger—it was perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. The stunning view of the Eiffel Tower made the experience even more special.

We visited Quai Nedy Lounge for my birthday dinner, and unfortunately the experience was really disappointing. My husband and I ordered steak, but after waiting around 35 minutes, we were suddenly told that the steak was finished and asked if we wanted lamb. The lamb itself was also disappointing. The menu picture showed it served with a green sauce, but in reality it arrived very dry and nothing like what was advertised. We had originally ordered vegetables and fries with the steak, yet with the lamb we were served rice and fries instead — even the sides were mixed up and forgotten. My husband had informed the waiter that it was my birthday and requested a candle with dessert, but nobody acknowledged it at all — not during the meal, not when we were leaving. Tkey charged us €20 to compensate. Overall, it was not what we expected.

very disappointed from their service. we just asked glass for our water but they said no. and also prices are expensive for such kind of small wraps and meals. Respect tourists who chose and come to your small cafe, guys. Update after the owner's response: I read the previous reviews, and almost 90% of the 1-star ratings mentioned the rude attitude of the staff. Unfortunately, I experienced the same thing myself. We simply asked for five glasses so we could drink the water we had with us. I don't think providing five glasses would have cost your business much. How we choose to spend our money and what we decide to drink is our own choice. Apparently, ordering your already expensive food wasn't enough, and even a few cups were considered too much to ask. As a result, in a crowded café, the five of us had to take turns drinking directly from a 1.5-liter bottle. Moments like these are what truly define the quality of customer service. Thank you for your "hospitality" and "kindness."

Got their assiettes classique and it was affordable and absolutely delicious! Great meal we had for breakfast and the staff was really nice. We especially loved the sauces they serve (we got samurai and ketchup). We also got some nice warm tea. Great experience overall for a quick meal!

VERY RUDE SERVER!!! We went here for a quick bite. We were going to grab food and either quickly eat there or take it to picnic at the eiffel tour. I like reading reviews before I go and people were taking about the good service. WHAT A LIE!!! My husband was ordering he was asked if it was take out or dine in. He said we'll dine in if that's cool, since they're were plenty others dining in, and was told that we couldn't dine in because dine in prices were more. So we said that's fine, we'll take it to go. But the server this whole time was practically yelling at my husband he was so rude. We ordered a pizza and 2 drinks and waited. As we were waking our, my husband grabbed our order while I grabbed our 2 drinks. The SAME GUY THAT TOOK ORDER AND WAS RUDE came yelling after us again demanding to see the receipt, which he never gave us, and asking us if we paid for the 2 drinks. HE TOOK OUR ORDER!! HE TOOK OUR MONEY!! And then embarrassingly putting us on the spot in front of everyone?!?! What an awful experience! It's cheaper than other places but not worth the service you'll get. The food is fine/ good. Nor horrible, but not amazing either. The pizza was very thin crust, which I actually enjoy but some may not. Flavours were good. Typing were also good, I would say not enough but they weren't skipped on either. Cheese was also a good cheese and enjoyable. I was actually excited about this place, chose them myself, and was so happy to be helping a fellow brother. But it really left a sour taste in my mouth.
Eric O'Neill★★★★★
Got the paprika chicken sandwich. Good size portion, decent prices and tastes really good. The kind owner also brought out the entire restaurant a lovely sweet warm tea. Highly recommend.

The food was absolutely amazing! The taste, presentation, and service were all excellent-everything was prepared with great care. I can't wait to come back, highly recommended!

This was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in Paris. The fact that it’s halal makes it even better. I had the steak and the duck and both were amazing. I’m from Texas and I’ll say it straight up this steak tasted better than anything I’ve had back home. The owner Beja was super genuine and really took care of me. It was my first time ever trying duck and he was very patient and made sure I liked it which I definitely did lol. You can tell he actually cares about the food and the people he serves. Great food great vibes and great service. I would 100 percent come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris.

Loved the chicken here, it was so juicy and tender. We ordered a curry Poulet which came with two sides and the salad. It was a very generous portion and the restaurant was air conditioned (we dined during the heatwave so really helped). The menu was halal and the server was very courteous and entertained us in English.

I love this place. Their food is very delicious and every time I come to France, I drive straight out to this place to eat there. Mix plates are so full and you can even share as the portions are very big. It’s almost like a mom and Pop store so the service is very good. The place is clean and comfortable seating.

Turkish kebab spot that gives generous portions. Came here for dinner after a long day of sightseeing and we wanted to grab something to eat back in our hotel. They do have seating available. Credit cards and cash accepted. The kebabs come with fries on the side and a tasty sauce. They do have vegetarian options (falafel).

Practical Tips for Dining Halal Near the Eiffel Tower

Navigating the culinary landscape of Paris requires a bit of local knowledge, especially when you are trying to balance tourism with dietary needs. The area around the Eiffel Tower is busy, and it is easy to fall into a tourist trap if you are not prepared. To help you make the most of your dining experience, we have compiled a list of essential tips that will save you time, money, and potential disappointment.

1. Verify Certification on Site

While our list features restaurants known for Halal compliance, management and suppliers can occasionally change. It is always wise to look for a physical Halal certificate displayed near the entrance or the cash register. If you do not see one, do not hesitate to ask the staff directly; most are accustomed to the question and will gladly confirm their status.

2. Check Alcohol Service Policies

In France, it is common for restaurants to serve alcohol, but many Halal-certified establishments choose to operate entirely dry or offer only non-alcoholic beverages. If this is a strict requirement for your dining experience, confirm the policy when you are seated. This ensures you can relax without concerns about cross-contamination or the general atmosphere.

3. Walk a Few Blocks to Save Money

The restaurants located directly on the sidewalks facing the Eiffel Tower pay exorbitant rent, which is often reflected in their menu prices. By walking just five to ten minutes into the 15th arrondissement (towards Rue du Commerce or Avenue de la Motte-Picquet), you will find more authentic flavors at significantly lower prices. The short walk is well worth the savings.

4. Reserve Ahead for Dinner Service

Parisians tend to eat dinner late, usually around 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM. If you plan to eat at a popular Halal spot after sunset, especially on weekends, you may face a long wait. Calling ahead or booking a table online can save you from standing outside with hungry children or tired feet after a day of sightseeing.

5. Understand the “Menu” vs. “À la Carte”

Many restaurants offer a “Formule” or “Menu” during lunch hours, which includes a starter, main course, and sometimes a dessert for a fixed, lower price. This is the most economical way to eat well in Paris. However, these deals are often only available on weekdays and strictly during lunchtime, so plan your big meal for midday if you are on a budget.

6. Don’t Skip the North African and Levantine Options

While burgers and fried chicken are popular, the true strength of Halal dining in Paris lies in its North African (Moroccan, Algerian, Tunisian) and Lebanese heritage. These restaurants often offer the most generous portions, the freshest grilled meats, and a family-friendly atmosphere. Ordering a Couscous Royal or a mixed grill platter is often the best value for your money.

The neighborhood surrounding the Eiffel Tower is a wonderful place to explore on foot, and discovering a hidden gem of a restaurant is one of the best parts of the Parisian experience.

By stepping away from the crowded avenues and into the side streets, you will find a welcoming community of restaurateurs who take great pride in their craft. We hope this guide helps you enjoy a stress-free and delicious visit to Paris. Bon appétit!
