10 Halal Restaurants near Les Invalides

Finding a satisfying meal in Paris can sometimes feel like a challenge, especially in tourist-heavy districts where convenience often trumps quality. If you are visiting the Hôtel des Invalides or spending the afternoon exploring the Musée de l’Armée, you might worry that your dining options are limited to overpriced cafés serving mediocre croque-monsieurs. However, the 7th arrondissement and its surrounding neighborhoods hold a surprising depth of culinary variety.

While the area is known for its aristocratic architecture and government buildings, it is also home to a vibrant food scene catering to locals, students, and international visitors alike. Whether you are looking for a quick kebab after a long walk or a refined Lebanese feast, you do not have to stray far from the golden dome to find it.

For those who follow a Halal diet, navigating a foreign city requires a bit more research. You want to ensure the meat is certified, the environment is welcoming, and the location is convenient to your itinerary. Fortunately, the area around Les Invalides serves as a gateway to some of the best Halal-friendly dining in central Paris.

The key is knowing where to look. While the immediate blocks surrounding the monument are mostly traditional French brasseries, a short walk toward the 15th arrondissement or the bustling streets near Montparnasse opens up a world of flavor. From Middle Eastern grills to South Asian curries, the options are diverse and high-quality.

This guide focuses on restaurants that either hold full Halal certification or are widely recognized as Halal establishments by the local community. It is always a good practice to confirm the current status of the meat with the staff upon arrival, as sourcing can occasionally change.

We have curated a list that balances proximity, taste, and value. You will find options ranging from casual counter-service spots perfect for a solo traveler to sit-down venues suitable for families. All of these are accessible via a short walk or a quick Metro ride from the Les Invalides station.

Here are the top spots to satisfy your hunger without compromising your dietary requirements.

It is a must to try this restaurant especially for Muslim travellers. Amazing service, love the menu and the food! There is definitely something for everybody. Pls support this halal establishment if you are in Paris. On our recent visit there are no long lines for sure. The staff are humble and always helpful. Easy to get to on foot or by uber.

This is a short walk from Roosevelt Station, or about 15 mins walk from L’arc de Triomphe. We had dinner here, the service was decent as was the decor. The kids menus are superb, with very generous portions and will fill any child 7 or below easily. Drinks were super with great options. Lamb shank was delicious. However, the fried chicken steak and the house steak were quite dry and chewy, they were not great. That said, sides were all perfect. Gratin dauphinois was superb. The steak could have been an off-night (unlikely as we ordered two and they were the same!). Not amazing but still worth a visit as it’s not easy to get halal steak in Paris. All in all a great place to come and try.

The ambience is great..very cozy, chique vibes. Food comes out fast..ate mostly chicken. It's very rich and scrumptious. I couldn't finish all of it..but highly recommend. It's in a very trendy part of Paris. As a tourist I enjoyed it.

We were helped by Iman, and she was absolutely lovely! We arrived a little late, but she still helped us so kindly and made sure we had a great experience. She was very friendly, helpful, and professional. I would definitely come back here again. Iman is truly a top employee!

I discovered this halal restaurant online while visiting Paris, and it turned out to be quite easy to locate. I would definitely recommend booking in advance, as it can get fairly busy. The food itself was enjoyable. I had the hamburger, which was decent, while my partner ordered the chicken and rice dish, which was particularly well-prepared and full of flavour. Overall, the quality of the food and the convenient location made for a good dining experience. Unfortunately, the service did not match the standard of the food. The staff’s facial expressions and body language felt unwelcoming, which made us somewhat uncomfortable during our visit. To add to this, we were surprised when a tip was requested at the end, despite the lacklustre service. In summary, while the food and location are definite positives, the service leaves room for improvement.

From the moment we arrived at Amazonia, we knew we were in for something special. The entire experience was simply mind-blowing. Every dish that arrived at our table was a masterpiece, beautifully presented, bursting with flavour, and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail was exceptional. Hats off to the talented chef and the owner for creating such an unforgettable dining experience. As a halal restaurant, Amazonia exceeded every expectation. The menu is outstanding, and their non-alcoholic cocktails are some of the best we’ve ever tasted, creative, refreshing, and the perfect complement to the food. What truly set this restaurant apart was the impeccable service. Duniya looked after us throughout the evening with genuine warmth, professionalism, and care. After every course, fresh napkins and new cutlery were provided before the next dish was served, a level of attention to detail that you rarely experience, even in many fine dining establishments. It made us feel incredibly well looked after. The atmosphere is elegant, vibrant, and luxurious, making it the perfect place for a special occasion or simply to enjoy an extraordinary meal. I am still mesmerised by the entire experience and can’t stop thinking about the incredible food, outstanding hospitality, and beautiful ambience. Without a doubt, this is one of the finest halal dining experiences we’ve ever had in Paris. We will definitely be returning and recommending Amazonia to everyone we know. A well-deserved 5 stars!

The food in the place is amazing, very tasty and delicious. It is very much on the level of a high end place. Service was equally great and food came out to us quickly. We barely waited 5-10 mins. On the other hand The atmosphere, although good overall, is not on the fancy, 60€ per plate level. There were no printed menus and tables were a bit small. It is more suitable for a 20-30€ restaurant rather than a "fancy" place.

A great place to eat if you're in the 8th. Fresh products, excellent service. Just a stone's throw from the Champs Elysées. Don’t hesitate.

I had an exceptional experience at the restaurant, mainly due to Pierre's outstanding customer service. The ambience was inviting, creating the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The cocktails were fantastic; I requested a very sour cocktail, and the bartender expertly crafted a drink bursting with flavour. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. The filet mignon was tender and perfectly cooked, while the octopus salad offered a delightful medley of textures and flavours that made each bite memorable. The ceviche was refreshingly zesty, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients. Overall, the serene and intimate atmosphere made it an ideal spot for a special evening. It truly was a lovely experience that I forget.

We walked here on our way to an appointment, we were looking for a quick bite. The service was great, friendly staff. The food was great, prices were good (a combo meal of burger, fries, and a drink came out to 14€), and the drinks were cold. Each table had a charger for our phones. Toilet available on premises, and decently kept. Not too far from major tourist cites.

Burgers were extremely delicious. Great team, service was very friendly and quick. Food was very hot and tasty. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good hearty burger in the soul of Paris. Definitely coming back.

I had a great experience here. We ordered the truffle burger and the honey bisquette, and both were fantastic. The burgers were juicy, well balanced, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The honey bisquette had a nice sweetness to it, and the goat cheese added a great slightly pungent touch that worked really well together. The truffle burger was also perfectly flavored without being overpowering, which can be hard to get right. The staff was beyond friendly and made the whole experience even better. Overall, great food, great service, and a spot I’d definitely come back to the next time I’m in Paris.

A Must-Visit for Burger Lovers! Everything about this experience was top-tier. The burger was incredible—it hit every mark I expected and then some. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and truly satisfying. What made it even better was the team. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and gentle, providing the kind of genuine hospitality that’s hard to find. If you’re looking for a great meal paired with even better service, this is the place. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful Sunday brunch here and really enjoyed the whole experience. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and everything was fresh and full of flavor. The service was quick, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. A special mention to the crispy chicken and avocado burger—it was perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. The stunning view of the Eiffel Tower made the experience even more special.

We visited Quai Nedy Lounge for my birthday dinner, and unfortunately the experience was really disappointing. My husband and I ordered steak, but after waiting around 35 minutes, we were suddenly told that the steak was finished and asked if we wanted lamb. The lamb itself was also disappointing. The menu picture showed it served with a green sauce, but in reality it arrived very dry and nothing like what was advertised. We had originally ordered vegetables and fries with the steak, yet with the lamb we were served rice and fries instead — even the sides were mixed up and forgotten. My husband had informed the waiter that it was my birthday and requested a candle with dessert, but nobody acknowledged it at all — not during the meal, not when we were leaving. Tkey charged us €20 to compensate. Overall, it was not what we expected.

As I strolled past the newly unveiled restaurant situated just across from my hotel, curiosity pulled me inside. To my delight, I was welcomed by the owner who happened to be a single woman, an empowered woman! 🙌🏼 Everything on the menu looked yummy, but I opted for the stewed beef with white rice, my order arrived quickly, revealing a culinary masterpiece. The meat, exquisitely tender and flavorful, paired harmoniously with the fresh and delectable bed of rice. It was a delightful experience, marked not only by the scrumptious flavors but also by the empowering presence of a friendly staff. I urge you to give this place a try and support a small business.

Kehribar quickly became one of those rare places you can’t stop thinking about after you leave. I went for lunch yesterday with my wife, and the food was so outstanding that we found ourselves coming back again tonight for dinner with another couple. That alone says everything. From the moment you step inside, you’re wrapped in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The aromas of the food immediately pull you in, and the friendliness of the staff makes you feel at home right away. The vibes flow seamlessly from outside to inside—warm, inviting, and full of character at every turn. The food is truly exceptional. The Istanbul grill for two is absolutely perfect—generous, beautifully cooked, and packed with deep, rich flavors. Every bite was memorable. The 7-variant appetizer plate is a fantastic way to explore a variety of cold mezes, each one fresh, vibrant, and full of authentic taste. The service was excellent throughout our visit, attentive without ever being intrusive. What really stood out was the chef’s genuine desire to make guests feel like family—you can feel the care and pride in every dish that comes out of the kitchen. Kehribar is more than just a meal; it’s an experience. Warm hospitality, incredible food, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer and come back again. Highly, highly recommended. Best part - it’s a full halal menu!

What a great find! Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when it came to translating the menu and assisting us whenever needed. We sat at the tables in front of the main preparation area, which gave the place a lively atmosphere, but there’s also another room next door with a few additional tables if you prefer a quieter spot. We ordered the Mediterranean dish and the döner plate, and the portions were amazing. The döner dish came with a small salad, fries, and a side of rice, making it incredibly filling. The Mediterranean platter also included tzatziki, flatbread, and hummus — and every single component was exceptional. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and generously served. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough!!!

very disappointed from their service. we just asked glass for our water but they said no. and also prices are expensive for such kind of small wraps and meals. Respect tourists who chose and come to your small cafe, guys. Update after the owner's response: I read the previous reviews, and almost 90% of the 1-star ratings mentioned the rude attitude of the staff. Unfortunately, I experienced the same thing myself. We simply asked for five glasses so we could drink the water we had with us. I don't think providing five glasses would have cost your business much. How we choose to spend our money and what we decide to drink is our own choice. Apparently, ordering your already expensive food wasn't enough, and even a few cups were considered too much to ask. As a result, in a crowded café, the five of us had to take turns drinking directly from a 1.5-liter bottle. Moments like these are what truly define the quality of customer service. Thank you for your "hospitality" and "kindness."

Got their assiettes classique and it was affordable and absolutely delicious! Great meal we had for breakfast and the staff was really nice. We especially loved the sauces they serve (we got samurai and ketchup). We also got some nice warm tea. Great experience overall for a quick meal!

VERY RUDE SERVER!!! We went here for a quick bite. We were going to grab food and either quickly eat there or take it to picnic at the eiffel tour. I like reading reviews before I go and people were taking about the good service. WHAT A LIE!!! My husband was ordering he was asked if it was take out or dine in. He said we'll dine in if that's cool, since they're were plenty others dining in, and was told that we couldn't dine in because dine in prices were more. So we said that's fine, we'll take it to go. But the server this whole time was practically yelling at my husband he was so rude. We ordered a pizza and 2 drinks and waited. As we were waking our, my husband grabbed our order while I grabbed our 2 drinks. The SAME GUY THAT TOOK ORDER AND WAS RUDE came yelling after us again demanding to see the receipt, which he never gave us, and asking us if we paid for the 2 drinks. HE TOOK OUR ORDER!! HE TOOK OUR MONEY!! And then embarrassingly putting us on the spot in front of everyone?!?! What an awful experience! It's cheaper than other places but not worth the service you'll get. The food is fine/ good. Nor horrible, but not amazing either. The pizza was very thin crust, which I actually enjoy but some may not. Flavours were good. Typing were also good, I would say not enough but they weren't skipped on either. Cheese was also a good cheese and enjoyable. I was actually excited about this place, chose them myself, and was so happy to be helping a fellow brother. But it really left a sour taste in my mouth.

This was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had in Paris. The fact that it’s halal makes it even better. I had the steak and the duck and both were amazing. I’m from Texas and I’ll say it straight up this steak tasted better than anything I’ve had back home. The owner Beja was super genuine and really took care of me. It was my first time ever trying duck and he was very patient and made sure I liked it which I definitely did lol. You can tell he actually cares about the food and the people he serves. Great food great vibes and great service. I would 100 percent come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris.

Tips for Dining Halal near Les Invalides

Navigating the Parisian food scene requires a bit of local know-how, especially when you are trying to stick to a specific diet in a neighborhood known for traditional French cuisine. To make your experience smoother and more enjoyable, consider the following practical advice before you head out to eat.

Confirm the Certification Status: Restaurant management and suppliers can change. While a restaurant may have been Halal for years, it is always wise to look for a visible certificate or ask the staff directly, "Is the meat Halal?" In many Middle Eastern or Indian restaurants, this is standard practice, but confirming ensures peace of mind.

Check Opening Hours Carefully: Parisian restaurants often close between lunch and dinner service (usually from 2:30 PM to 7:00 PM). If you are visiting Les Invalides in the late afternoon, you may find many kitchens closed. Plan your visit around standard French meal times—12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for lunch and 7:30 PM onward for dinner.

Explore the 15th Arrondissement Border: The 7th arrondissement is quite residential and upscale, meaning fewer casual Halal spots. However, if you walk just 10 to 15 minutes southwest toward La Motte-Picquet or Commerce, you will find a much denser concentration of affordable and authentic Halal eateries frequented by locals.

Look Beyond Kebabs: While a French kebab (often called a "grec" or sandwich) is a delicious and budget-friendly option, the Halal scene here offers much more. Don’t hesitate to try Pakistani curries, Lebanese mezze, or North African couscous. These restaurants often provide a more balanced and sit-down dining experience.

Ask for the "Menu" or "Formule": To save money, look for set menus (formules) at lunchtime. Many Halal restaurants near the 15th arrondissement offer a starter plus main course, or main course plus dessert, for a fixed price that is significantly cheaper than ordering à la carte.

Be Mindful of Alcohol Service: Some Halal restaurants in Paris choose not to serve alcohol, while others do. If you prefer a strictly alcohol-free environment, check the menu posted outside or ask before you sit down. Most Lebanese and North African spots will happily serve fresh juices, mint tea, or sodas.

Exploring the area around Les Invalides offers a unique blend of French history and global cuisine. You can spend your morning marveling at Napoleon’s tomb and your afternoon enjoying a richly spiced tagine or a perfectly grilled skewer of meat just a short walk away.

Ultimately, the best meal is one that fits your needs and allows you to keep exploring. By venturing just a few blocks away from the main tourist thoroughfares, you will discover the authentic, diverse, and welcoming side of Parisian dining that many visitors miss.
