El Saler Shopping Center is a vibrant retail hub in Valencia, featuring a diverse range of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. With its modern architecture and spacious layout, it provides a lively atmosphere for shopping and leisure, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors. 28/10/2024 - Update after company reply: First of all, it seems your perception about reviews is a bit mistaken. Reviews are not a request for assistance and don't require an answer. Reviews are just an opinion about the company. Furthermore, who said to you that my review was not written by a customer? And if it was really not written by a customer, what's the point? It's the most ridiculous reply I ever got. I'm praising the company and they come to question my review with unfounded claims.

Good location, Good parking and lot's of shops and food possibilities
Vilarejos★★★★☆
El Saler shopping mall is a pleasant place with the kind of shops you can find in almost every shopping mall in Spain, with some different options. The food court has a good variety of restaurants, like any shopping mall. The parking lot is large but a bit confusing. In any case, during peak hours it's difficult to find a parking space. A tip: on holidays, parking is free, so if you want to visit this mall or the City of Arts and Sciences, it's a good parking option and you can still enjoy the mall. The Carrefour in the mall is large and has good prices for being in a mall.

Modern shopping center with a good variety of stores, restaurants, and services. Clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. The overall experience was very good, although some areas could benefit from more seating and relaxation spaces.
Oreste Gaspari★★★★☆
Nuevo Centro is a very convenient shopping centre, with plenty of shops, a supermarket and several places to eat both indoors and outside. Being connected to El Corte Inglés makes the whole area even more useful. For us, staying at the Novotel next door, it was perfect for having almost everything within a few minutes’ walk.
Firasat Khan★★★★☆
Excellent shopping centre with lots of food outlet.

Nuevo Centro, situated in Valencia, offers a comprehensive shopping experience with an extensive variety of options. From fashion, food, and dining to music, sports, toys, home goods, jewelry, gifts, accessories, travel, beauty products, footwear, and leisure activities, this mall caters to a wide range of interests and needs. The website is quite informative, providing essential details like opening hours, access information, a store directory, and updates on various events and news related to Nuevo Centro. This makes planning a visit effortless. The diverse range of stores and activities available at Nuevo Centro makes it a great destination for a day out with family or friends. However, the mall can get quite busy during peak hours, so it's best to visit during off-peak times for a more relaxed experience.
William Mustajärvi★★★☆☆
Poor food options, almost only burgers available. The information desk clerk was unkind and no outstanding stores. The main shopping streets offer a better experience.

Very nice shopping mall in a very convenient location around different attractions. As tourists, it was within a walking distance from our wonderful hotel, where we able to buy some snacks, dine in and do shopping several times. All services are available such as pharmacy, supermarkets and all essentials. The shopping experience was also nice as they have some nice brands. The mall layout is very smart with natural lighting and semi open air, still you feel cool with the air conditioning coming from the shops. Finally, they have nice view, accessible to wheelchairs and you can park your scooter 🛴 inside the mall.

A great museum with beautiful location. Keeping good historical things and knowledge about soler system and sound travel from walls.

Very nice salon with super friendly staff! Great first time experience. My stylist RAFFAELLA did an amazing job. I love the cut, color and mask/toner treatment.

Modern outdoor shopping mall just across the Oceanographic Museum. The Spanish normal shops with a good summer sale. Snacks and dining on the top two floors. Good shade even in the heat during siesta time. Maybe not worth traveling for but if you’re around it’s a good place to cool down and get some energy.

An impressive building, with beautiful mosaic murals and architectural details to see before you go inside for food or drinks. There is a good variety of food available - don’t miss the options downstairs! - and plenty of places for a drink or coffee in the shade. Perfect place to relax for a while and watch the bustle.

I really enjoyed my visit to Mercado de Colón in Valencia. The building itself is stunning, that light, airy hall framed by elegant ironwork and colourful ceramic detail made it one of the most beautiful historic spaces I wandered into on my trip. Inside, it feels less like a traditional produce market and more like a lively urban meeting point. I grabbed a coffee, soaked up the relaxed vibe, and watched locals and visitors mix at the cafés and tapas spots. It was the perfect place to pull up a seat, enjoy a glass of horchata and savour the blend of heritage architecture and modern leisure. I recommend.
Doug Ho★★★★★
The Mercat de Colón (Columbus Market) in Valencia is a stunning modernist landmark that has been transformed from a traditional 1916 food market into a premier gastronomic and leisure hub. Located in the upscale L'Eixample district, it is celebrated for its Valencian Art Nouveau architecture—featuring iron, glass, brick, and colourful ceramic mosaics—and serves as a vibrant meeting point for both locals and tourists. The market is renowned for its diverse dining options, ranging from Michelin-star level cuisine to traditional local drinks. Elevated Dining: HABITUAL by Ricard Camarena offers contemporary Mediterranean comfort food on the lower level, known for its creative use of local products. Traditional Horchata: Horchatería Daniel is a must-visit to try Valencia's famous tiger nut milk (horchata) paired with fartons (sweet pastries). Organic & Healthy: Suc de Lluna BioCafé provides organic, vegan, and vegetarian-friendly options, including healthy tapas and fresh juices. Asian Fusion: Ma Khin Café blends Asian flavours with Mediterranean ingredients for a unique culinary experience. Tapas & Drinks: Mi Cub is popular for its outdoor terrace and traditional tapas, while Las Cervezas del Mercado offers a wide selection of international and local craft beers. The address is Carrer de Jorge Juan, 19, 46004 València. Hours: Daily from 7:30 AM to 2:00 AM or 3:00 AM (individual establishments have their own specific schedules). How to Get There: Metro: Lines 3 and 5 (Colón station). Bus: Multiple lines including 8, 10, 13, 18, 30, 32, 40, 93, 94, C1, and C2.

Visited Mercado Colón and ended up spending much longer there than expected. The building itself is beautiful and there’s a great mix of cafés restaurants and places to grab a drink. It has a really relaxed atmosphere and was a nice place to take a break while exploring the city.

May 2026 Update: During our visit on May 11, most of the lower level business were closed apparently due to remodeling. Options here will be more limited than earlier reviews suggest for the time being. The main level is fully open.

The Central Market of Valencia is an absolute must-visit! The stunning modernist architecture is just as impressive as the incredible variety of fresh local produce. From colourful fruits and vegetables to fresh seafood, cured meats, cheeses, and traditional Spanish delicacies, every corner is full of flavour and authenticity. The atmosphere is vibrant, with friendly vendors and a genuine local feel despite its popularity with tourists. Whether you’re shopping, enjoying a quick bite, or simply admiring the beautiful building, this market offers a true taste of Valencia. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city!

The Central Market of Valencia (Mercado Central) is one of the largest and most beautiful fresh food markets in Europe, and a must-visit in Valencia. Housed in a stunning Modernist building, the market combines beautiful architecture with a lively local atmosphere. Inside, you'll find hundreds of stalls selling fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood, meats, cheeses, pastries, and traditional Spanish delicacies. It's the perfect place to sample local flavours, grab a fresh juice, or experience everyday life in Valencia. The market is vibrant and full of energy, making it much more than just a place to shop.
adhdpl★★★★★
The building itself is absolutely breathtaking, with its impressive architecture, beautiful dome, and colorful stained-glass windows that make it a landmark worth visiting. Stepping inside is a treat, especially if you enjoy good food and fresh produce. The selection is outstanding, offering an incredible range of fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, and other high-quality ingredients. Everything is neatly arranged, looks exceptionally fresh, and reflects the care put into maintaining the market. Whether you're shopping for premium ingredients, exploring local specialties, or simply looking for a quick bite, this is a fantastic place to visit. It's a wonderful experience for both food lovers and tourists alike, and I would definitely recommend it.

The building itself is a stunning architectural masterpiece with a gorgeous dome and vibrant stained glass. Inside, it’s a paradise for food lovers. The variety and quality of the produce are unmatched—the selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, and nuts is absolutely massive and top-tier. Everything is beautifully displayed and incredibly fresh. Whether you are looking for premium ingredients or just want to grab a quick local snack, this place is unbeatable. Highly recommended!

A bit touristy but always a fun thing to do in the old town. Also everything we tried was actually good ! I recommend the octopus sashimi in the fish section of the mercato, adorable service and the seafood was so fresh! Take your time in there and go early to avoid the crowds!

On March 26th, in the afternoon, a friend and I went to the bazaar. We asked a girl about a product I didn't know how to explain, and she just laughed at us. We complained to the cashier who treated us terribly; her name tag had the name Klaudia on it, exactly as I wrote it. And I am, or rather was, a customer of that bazaar, which is usually very good. Thank you.

A Chinese store with big aspirations. A huge store where you can find everything at a reasonable price.
jubapirt★★★☆☆
A large Chinese store, although I was a little disappointed. I thought that, like its sister stores, they would have a wider variety of things. It's true that they have almost everything, but I think less than other places. What really amazed me was everything they had for Christmas; so many things and many themes I didn't even know existed. I suppose everyone has their own style. The girls were very friendly and willing to answer any questions.

Beautiful mall. Lots of clothes. A wide selection of watches. A man's kingdom.

They have a small selection of Hot Wheels on the top floor, but it's mostly older stock. It doesn't seem like they receive regular deliveries, so if you're specifically looking for Hot Wheels, it's probably not worth making a special trip here unless you have some time to spare. If you do have extra time, it's still worth taking a quick look—you might get lucky.

This store has everything .. Quality for sure, pricing and bit higher, but location is fantastic. Check out tills are a little tight and entrance into the building with carry on cart is kinda of a pain, not as simple as going to a regular supermarket. I give it 4.6 stars.

I had an excellent experience at the Guerlain counter thanks to María Jesús Vicent Civera. She provided a truly professional and personalized makeup consultation. María patiently tested several Guerlain foundation shades on my skin until we found the perfect match. This level of attention is rare and made a big difference. She then created a full makeup look using Guerlain products, explaining each step and product in a very clear and friendly way. The result looked beautiful and natural, and I actually received many compliments later that evening. What impressed me most was her professionalism, product knowledge, and the way she makes the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. She also kindly spent time helping my friend who came with me and gave us both samples to try. This is exactly the level of service you expect from a luxury brand like Guerlain. Thank you, María, for such a wonderful experience!

I had very pleasant experiences of collecting online purchases. Well, in my email was written that for pick up I need to go to floor S2 - which does not exist if you look at the board. But I figure that out 🙌 so it is located on P1 level. Where parking is. I took a ticket from the machine, when my number was on a screen - I went to the indicated desk and got my purchase. All good and very efficient.

Love this place, excellent staff and everything you need. Just bought a coffee machine €85.00 with 3 year warranty cheaper than Media Mart and Fanc.
Miguel★☆☆☆☆
Came to pick up a "speedy online order" after being told the item I'd ordered online was ready for pickup. First, it's almost impossible to find the pickup location. Second, it took me around 40 minutes of waiting to get my order. They have tons of lockers, at least 100, for order pickups that are completely unused, and then a big room of people waiting where you have to take a ticket and wait because they take an unnecessarily long time checking out every person.

To the useless man on the 5th floor at the air guns session cashier and his equally useless manager: learn your laws, you dont need a DNI to purchase a category 4 air compression pistol. A NIE, and an ID document suffices for EU citizens. I understand you think your little country has special laws, but you dont. You are in the EU. Stop lying about Guardia Civil requirements and guidelines unless you want me to bring guardia civil there next time. I purchased the pistol at a gunsmith without fuss because the people working there actually know the law. You people are entirely and completely useIess.

The shopping part of the mall has little choice of shops, the Burger King outside is dirty and full of pigeons, the Chinese restaurant on the right corner is very good, clean and perfect for families with small children.
CRITICAL CONSUMER★★★☆☆
Shopping centre mainly a big supermarket with a couple of little shops opposite the checkout tills and a sportshop at one end, Burger king at the other. The supermarket is a big one from the French chain Carrefour, with many household products and clothes. Everything is more expensive than you would expect to pay for the quality, in the food section they have a big variety of brands and products, but noticeably more expensive than your average supermarket. Their own brand is definitely a no no after having tried at least 50 different products of their own brand I have not been satisfied with any... The only times I have gone for it is where they overpriced the other brands so much that you choose their own brand, only to regret it... EVERY TIME!!! Some have a minute section of overseas products, but increaesly less products on offer. For the price I would choose any other supermarket the only positive thing is the amount of different brands and products under the one roof
Amine Amarouche★★★★★
Very accessible by autobus or by car, parking is free. The Carrefour supermarket is plenty of offers and very well organized. The shelves are ergonomic. There's a Burger King inside the facility and some cafes and little service shops

It was good to find a major food supplier open on a Sunday which offers an extensive range of food & non food items. However I found some foods we purchased lacked quality / taste compared with other supermarkets of similar produce.

Tips for Shopping Near the Central Market

To make the most of your retail excursion in this historic district, it helps to understand the local rhythm and etiquette. While the area is welcoming to tourists, shopping like a local will enhance your experience and often lead to better service and prices. Here are some essential strategies to keep in mind before you set out with your wallet.

Time your visit around the siesta. Many independent boutiques and family-run stores close between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Plan your shopping for the late morning or early evening to avoid finding the metal shutters down on the shops you most want to see.

Bring a reusable shopping bag. Valencia is an eco-conscious city, and plastic bags are increasingly scarce and often come with a charge. Carrying a sturdy tote is practical for your purchases and aligns with the local culture of sustainability.

Carry some cash for small purchases. While major retailers and fashion chains accept all major credit cards, some older artisan workshops, vintage stalls, or smaller kiosks may have a minimum spend for card transactions. Having a small amount of cash ensures you don’t miss out on a unique trinket.

Wear comfortable walking shoes. The charm of this area lies in its pedestrian streets and polished cobblestones, which can be hard on the feet after a few hours. High heels or flimsy sandals will quickly become uncomfortable on the uneven historic paving.

Don’t be afraid to explore side alleys. The main thoroughfares are obvious, but some of the best boutiques and quietest patios are hidden in the narrow cross streets. If an alley looks clean and well-lit, wandering down it can lead to the most authentic finds away from the tourist crowds.

The beauty of shopping near the Central Market lies in the seamless blend of the old and the new. One moment you are admiring a modern window display, and the next you are watching a baker pull fresh bread from a wood-fired oven that has been burning for decades. This contrast is what makes the experience feel so distinctly Valencian, far removed from the sterile environment of a shopping mall.

After you have filled your bags and rested your feet, you will likely find yourself drawn back to the market square for a final drink. Sitting at a terrace with a view of the market’s dome, surrounded by the buzz of daily life, is the perfect way to conclude a day of retail discovery. The memories you take home will be tied not just to the items you bought, but to the vibrant streets where you found them.
