Finding a memorable meal in Seville is rarely difficult, but when you are spending the morning exploring the artistic treasures housed within the Museo de Bellas Artes, you want a dining experience that matches the beauty of your surroundings. The area surrounding the museum, located in the historic heart of the city, is a vibrant tapestry of narrow cobblestone streets, hidden plazas, and bustling local life. It is a neighborhood where the scent of freshly squeezed orange juice mingles with the aroma of baking bread and roasting coffee, inviting you to slow down and savor the moment.
Seville’s culinary culture is famously tied to the rhythm of the day, with breakfast often being a lighter, sweeter affair and brunch becoming an increasingly popular weekend ritual. While the traditional Andalusian breakfast of tostada con tomate y aceite or churros con chocolate remains a staple, the area near the museum has evolved to embrace modern café culture. Here, you can find everything from artisan sourdough topped with avocado to decadent French toast, all served alongside expertly pulled espresso or freshly blended smoothies.
Whether you are visiting the museum to admire works by Murillo and Zurbarán or simply wandering through the historic district of El Centro, starting your day with a satisfying meal is essential. The best spots near the museum offer more than just food; they provide a window into the city’s social fabric. You will often find yourself seated next to local families enjoying a leisurely morning, artists sketching in the corner, or travelers planning their next stop on the map.
The diversity of the dining scene here is one of its greatest strengths. You do not have to settle for a generic tourist trap when you can enjoy a hidden gem tucked away on a quiet side street. From tiny, standing-room-only coffee bars that have served the neighborhood for decades to sleek, contemporary eateries with international menus, the options are as varied as the artwork inside the museum itself. The common thread is a commitment to quality ingredients and the unhurried, welcoming spirit of Seville.
Navigating the culinary landscape can be overwhelming if you are unfamiliar with the area, especially when hunger strikes after a long morning of walking. You want to ensure you are spending your money on a meal that is worth the calories and the time. That is why focusing on the establishments located within a short stroll of the Plaza del Museo is the smartest strategy for a seamless day of sightseeing.
To help you curate the perfect morning itinerary, we have explored the surrounding streets to identify the standout venues that consistently deliver on taste, atmosphere, and service. The following selection prioritizes places that offer excellent value, authentic local flavor, and a welcoming environment for visitors. Whether you are craving a traditional Spanish start to the day or a hearty international brunch, you will find a spot that fits your mood.
Without further delay, here are the top breakfast and brunch destinations located just steps away from the Seville Museum of Fine Arts.

Went with a group and ordered variety of items. It's amazing how they are able to perfect the different food options
Highly recommend pancakes and french toast if you want sweet
Pistachio latte was delicious
Mala and impossible burger were amazing as well
You can't go wrong with any options
Only caveat the wait is long. Took us 45 min to get a table. Come early !

Absolutely the best food I’ve ever had! Every dish was incredibly delicious, and the presentation was simply outstanding. You can tell that every detail is carefully thought out. The atmosphere was amazing, the service was excellent, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

My favourite breakfast / brunch place in Seville! The food is amazing and a good price. It tastes so fresh and there are English menu’s if needed. The staff also speak English which is very helpful and there are lots of good food options available. Sometimes it can take a while to pay if the place is busy but I definitely recommend it (especially the mascarpone pancakes and orange juice). It is also worth noting that it can get busy quite early on in the day so if you’re coming for breakfast, I recommend coming as soon as it opens to avoid queues.

For two days in a row went for brunch there. Saturday was bit busier so had to wait in line for about 10 min but it was definitely worth the wait. Portions great, menu big and actually interesting and representation amazing. Highly recommend it and cannot wait to come back.

Excellent place for breakfast. Our favourite throughout our stay in Seville. The poached eggs are perfectly cooked. Offers good value in today's climate.

The best brunch in Seville.
Seriously.
It’s a cute little find but Mariquita Brunch is an absolute find.
They do a varied menu of basic toasts with various toppings, lots of salads, bagels, freshly baked empanadas, sandwiches pancakes and waffles alongside healthier poke bowls.
We had an eggs Benedict with shredded chicken which was delicious. We shared the American salad - oh my - strawberries and such a light dressing. We tried a ham and cheese empanada: didn’t really need it, but it was lovely. We also shared avocado on brioche with bacon.
Every single thing we had was excellent.
I tried a green juice which was great. I also had the Kombuchito lemon and ginger which was zingy and fresh.
I absolutely recommend this place. The staff were friendly, it’s clean and modern in style with nice loos as well.
Definitely a MUST find for brunch in Seville.
Minnette★★★★★
This is a GREAT place! Employees are friendly and the food is simply amazing! Everything we ordered was so good!! A plus is that food was delivered quickly. We were a bit tight on time, and that helped. Coffee was divine, the chocolate croissant is to die for and the toasts and sandwiches were incredible.

We came here for breakfast because of this café’s high rating. But, unfortunately, it didn’t live up to our expectations. My order was supposed to be spicy, but it turned out to be completely lacking in any heat and was absolutely cold. The matcha latte was practically just milk. And the waiter who served us didn’t seem friendly
Tatiana Mladenkova★★★★★
Such an amazing place found purely by accident! The most lovely service, great choice of drinks and food. We felt very welcomed and my son got nachos that weren’t on the menu as a kind gesture. I really appreciate the lady that took care of us🥰

Amazing brunch experience. Such a lovely little cafe, nicely decorated with comfortable seating. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu has a wide range of options, including tailoring your own toast with multiple choices of bread type and fillings.
All the food was delicious. Very good quality ingredients, especially the bread, the salmon and the eggs.
Highly recommended!

Perfect spot for brunch, with options for every taste, both savory and sweet. They also offer many vegetarian options for savory dishes. It’s located in a central area of the city and is small but well-designed. There are seats both indoors and outdoors, making it perfect for a meal that’s a little different from the usual. The service was reasonably fast, and all the staff were kind and polite. I highly recommend it.

I visited Moya today for breakfast, and it was amazing!! Not only was the cafe really aesthetically pleasing and beuatiful, the food was amazing, the drinks were great, the vibes were nice, the staff was amazing, especially Jara. She was really friendly, accomodating, and sweet.
Overall, amazing vibes, I would definitely come back! I got the waffle, eggs, avocado, and bacon, and just a great start to my day overall. Thank you, Jara and Moya once again for your great hospitality.
Sanne★★★★★
We absolutely loved Moya — so much that we came here every single day during our week in Sevilla. My brother had recommended it from a previous trip, and he was absolutely right.
I ordered the Açaí Bowl every morning, he always took the Tropical Smoothie Bowl, and another in our group went for the hummus avocado toast. All of it was consistently delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. The coffee was also really good — we tried both regular‑milk and oat‑milk cappuccinos (the small ones) and both were excellent.
The juices were a bit on the sour side for my taste, but everything else was perfect.
The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive. By the end of the week, they didn’t even need to ask for my order anymore — they remembered it.
The vibe isn’t traditional Spanish; it’s more of a Bali‑style, pink, “Instagrammable” brunch spot. Not usually my type of atmosphere, but the food is absolutely amazing, so it didn’t matter at all.
Truly highly, highly, highly recommend. One of our favourite breakfast places in Sevilla.
Pieter Cools★★★★★
What a pleasant surprise to discover near our hotel. A vibrant place with pink accents that immediately lightens up your day. We took the waffle with omelette and avocado and the açaí bowl. Both were freshly made and delicious. But the real star was the coffee, a Burundi origin coffee with nice floral notes and a pleasant non bitter finish. Will come back here tomorrow!
Sonia Petrini★★★★☆
Lovely spot in a small street 🙂 exactly what I was looking for. The chai latte had the perfect sweetness and temperature, and the corn fritters were good, although the avocado could've been better. I had no problem finding a place to eat, and it was not too crowded despite being Sunday. Overall very good experience! Service was very welcoming.

We had a wonderful breakfast experience at La Mala Brunch! We customized their Eggs Benedict toast by asking them to remove the bacon, and it was absolutely amazing with its sauce and bread. The pistachio cream croissant was also really good. Based on the reviews, we ordered the mascarpone pancake, and it was delicious too. In short, no matter what you order here, it is truly flavorful. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and solution-oriented. A fantastic breakfast spot in Seville that I highly recommend without hesitation!

Delicious! Our waiter was very kind and attentive from the moment we sat down. Everything is made to order, which you can really taste in the quality. The coffee was also a standout — made just the way you like it. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent brunch at La Mala Brunch!
We had several breakfasts there during our stay and everything was absolutely perfect. The place is modern and pleasant, although it can get a bit noisy during busy hours, which also shows how popular the restaurant is.
The menu is very varied, with both indulgent and healthy options: pancakes, bagels, bowls, brunch burgers, fresh smoothies… it’s hard to choose because everything looks delicious.
The products are fresh, beautifully presented, and the portions are generous.
A real favorite in Seville, both for the quality of the food and the atmosphere. This place truly deserves its excellent Google rating. We would definitely recommend it and gladly come back!

During my stay in Seville, this hidden gem was right in front of the apartment we rented. I initially stopped by for a coffee, but the menu looked so appetizing that I decided to order the club sandwich as well, and it was amazing! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. A very cool spot with excellent food and coffee. Highly recommended!

One of the best and delicious brunch ever had.
The place is a little bit busy and there is a waiting list, but definitely worth the wait.
Coffee came hot and strong, food was super tasty, fresh and delicious too.
Everything was top notch quality indeed.
This is a highly recognizable place in Seville.

The food is fresh, healthy, and packed with flavor. Their coffee is fantastic, and the attention to detail is top-notch. What truly makes this place special, though, is the staff. We found this vibrant cafe, tucked into a street near our hotel. A perfect place to stop for fresh, healthy food with such a variety! We visited twice and would recommend. Really sets you up for a great start to a busy day. The food and coffee were excellent and the service quick, considering options and variety being prepared. A busy corner but we only waited 5 mins for a table to be cleared. Staff were so friendly and thanks to the Irishman who encouraged me to speak in Spanish! We’ll visit again on a future trip. Disfrutes… give it a try!
Savannah Cooper★★★★★
What a cozy cutie vibe, not the mention the food was very yummy too! We shared an açaí bowl, the Mediterranean tostada, and mango bagel sandwich. All were super delicious and had a great presentation. The golden latte felt like it was made of tumeric and milk, which was not for us, but they had many other drinks. The staff were also very kind. A good place for locals and tourists as they had an English menu and were understanding with my rough Spanish.
Ömer G.★★★★★
Foods were absolutely delicious. The person who served us was very kind and friendly. If you’re looking to enjoy a tasty and relaxing brunch in a cozy, boutique spot on a quiet street, I would definitely recommend this place.
Claudia Decicco★★★★★
We had the pleasure to enjoy a breakfast at Chia. The quality of ingredients is great, both for sweet and salty options. The place is tiny but comfortable and the two guys managing are making their best to give the best experience to the people on the inside. No queue in front of the place, they will accomodate you only if there is space to give everyone the best experience

A popular breakfast place with indoor and outdoor seating. The servers are very friendly and they try to accommodate any requests/changes to orders. The service was fast and the food did not disappoint. The eggs benedict was really good, the eggs were perfectly cooked, the bacon and hollandaise sauce tasted good together. The pancakes were warm and fluffy and delicious! The omelette was seasoned well and the Moroccan tea transported me back to Morocco.

I had the Superfood Omelette, and I found it to be extremely fresh and filling. I also ordered the red detox, which was refreshing and tasty. Enrique’s customer service is top notch; he is very warm and friendly. The outdoor seating is great. I’d definitely recommend this place and I would come back here again!
Zahira Moukhlis★☆☆☆☆
The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, but unfortunately that was the only positive part of the experience. The food had almost no flavour and was very bland. The coffee also had a strange, unpleasant taste. To make matters worse, the egg dishes served during brunch had a very strong smell, which made them difficult to enjoy. Overall, the restaurant looks nice, but the quality and taste of the food were very disappointing.

We had an absolutely amazing breakfast at Billy Brunch! The food was fantastic, but what really stood out was the incredible service. The gentleman who served us was outstanding, especially with our children. He was so friendly, welcoming and attentive, which made the whole experience even better.

Absolutely outstanding brunch experience in Seville!
We visited Billy Brunch on a beautiful morning in Seville and it instantly became one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere, stylish decor, and mouthwatering menu had us excited.
The food was exceptional — generous portions, fresh ingredients, and perfectly executed dishes. The pancakes were fluffy and decadent, the Eggs Benedict had that perfect runny yolk, and the avocado toast was elevated with delicious toppings. Everything was packed with flavor, and they had great options for different dietary preferences too. The coffee was strong and smooth — exactly what we needed to start the day right.
But what truly made our visit special was our incredible server, Rocio. She was amazing from start to finish! So friendly, attentive, and full of great recommendations. Rocio made us feel genuinely welcome, checked in at the perfect moments, and had the warmest smile the whole time. Her service went above and beyond — she made our meal feel personal and extra enjoyable. Thank you, Rocio!
Billy Brunch is a must-visit if you’re in Seville. Whether you’re craving all-day breakfast, healthy options, or something indulgent, this place delivers on every level. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Andalusia.
Highly recommend — 10/10!

We visited for Sunday breakfast at opening time to avoid the busy period. We have visited the Barcelona site 2 years earlier and were pleased to recognise the same style, menu and details in Sevilla. The Eggs Benedict is lovely as are the fluffy pancakes. However, a whole portion can be a struggle to finish for one person as they are quite thick and the portion size is huge for a sweet plate of food! The avocado toast was also enjoyed and we loved the sheet of chia that was cleverly incorporated into the dish! Drinks are also good with a decent selection of hot and iced coffees to kickstart the day.

Finally, we ended up going to this place that was really close to our hotel. It was recommended by a friend of ours, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best places to just relax and unwind. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful, the vibes were amazing, and the food was genuinely good too. After a long day, it was exactly the kind of spot we needed.
And the best part — they had free internet finally! The staff also spoke English, which made everything so much easier and more comfortable for us. Overall, we had an amazing time there and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a chill and cozy place to enjoy good food and relax.

Great brunch place with variety of options in the menu. The superfood omelette (spinach, kale, parsley) was very delicious served with tasty sourdough bread and it is generous in portion! Coffee was average in taste, could have been better.
Next time I will definitely try out their fluffy pancakes which also looks amazing!

We ordered Focaccia hier. The Bread was a bit old. The ingredients were some cold some half warm and dry topping. I asked if they could make me now a sandwich without ham, they couldn’t, probably because all the sandwiches are prepared from the day before and they never make any thing fresh in the kitsches. I had to swallow the sandwich because it tasted weird. The coffee was okey. It was definitely not worth the money.
My two favourite brunch cafes were Mariquita Brunch and Billy Brunch. I recommend you to try one of these instead.
Xuan★☆☆☆☆
Unfortunately, this was a disappointing brunch experience.
The pulled pork bagel sounded promising, but although the bagel was served warm, it was very hard. The fillings were cold, and the bottom half of the bagel was soggy.
I also ordered an iced Americano, but instead of a properly prepared drink, I was served an espresso, a jug of hot water, and just two ice cubes separately. After mixing it myself, the coffee ended up lukewarm rather than iced.
The service was also confusing. I asked if I could order from the lunch menu, and the staff member checked with the kitchen before telling me lunch wasn't available until 1 pm. As it was only about 15 minutes away, I said I was happy to come back later. Only then was I told that I couldn't order anyway because there was no meat available for the burgers. I wish this had been explained from the beginning, as it left me feeling like I was being steered towards ordering from the brunch items instead.
Overall, the food quality, drinks, and service didn't meet my expectations. I would definitely not recommend this place.
Walid★★★★☆
Arenza de crema was as delicious as it looks! Definitely recommend the pistachio and chocolate version.
The scrambled eggs are below average and super boring.
Atmosphere is great, but it smelled a lot of times like a random room spray. Didn’t like the smell of it at all, super confusing.
Staff is very friendly and attentive.

My order wasn’t taken properly, which led to some confusion and missing items. The quantity served was also quite less compared to expectations. The taste of the food was just okay—not bad, but nothing special either.

A Bakery has a lovely ambiance with plenty of seating perfect for a relaxed breakfast or coffee break. The coffee is excellent, and the freshly made pastries are delicious. The prices are reasonable. Definitely one of my favorite breakfast spots in Seville!
Tips for Enjoying Breakfast Near the Museum
To make the most of your dining experience in this bustling historic area, it helps to understand the local customs and logistics. While the neighborhood is incredibly welcoming, knowing when to go and what to order can elevate a simple meal into a memorable cultural experience. Here are some essential tips to ensure your breakfast or brunch near the Museum of Fine Arts is as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
- Embrace the Late Morning Schedule. Seville runs on a different clock than many other European cities. While coffee shops open early for commuters, the peak time for a leisurely breakfast or brunch is between 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM. If you arrive before 10:00 AM, you will find quieter tables, but the full brunch menus at some modern cafés may not be available until later.
- Order Like a Local. If you want the true Sevillian experience, ask for a media tostada (half toast) with aceite de oliva virgen extra and tomate triturado (crushed tomato). Pair it with a café con leche or, if it is a hot day, a café con hielo (iced coffee). It is simple, affordable, and utterly delicious.
- Check Opening Days and Holidays. The Museum of Fine Arts is closed on Mondays, which can affect the foot traffic and sometimes the opening hours of smaller, independent cafés nearby. Always check the social media or Google listing for the specific café you plan to visit, as many family-run spots close for a day mid-week or during the afternoon siesta.
- Consider Dietary Preferences in Advance. While traditional Andalusian breakfasts often revolve around gluten (bread) and pork (ham), the modern brunch spots in this area are highly accommodating. If you are vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free, look for the specialty cafés on the list; they often mark allergens clearly and offer alternative milks and breads.
- Walk Off Your Meal in the Alameda or Riverside. One of the greatest benefits of eating near the museum is the proximity to other beautiful areas. After you finish your brunch, you are just a short walk from the Guadalquivir River or the trendy Alameda de Hércules. Taking a post-meal stroll is the perfect way to digest and continue exploring the city’s atmosphere.
The area surrounding the Museo de Bellas Artes serves as a perfect microcosm of Seville’s evolving food scene, balancing deep-rooted tradition with contemporary flair. Whether you choose a historic bar that has been toasting bread for generations or a modern café plating up colorful bowls of fruit and yogurt, you are participating in a daily ritual that defines the city’s character. The proximity to such artistic masterpieces only enhances the sensory experience, making the simple act of eating breakfast feel a little more special.
As you plan your visit, remember that the best meals are often the ones where you allow yourself to sit back and watch the world go by. Don’t rush your coffee, don’t be afraid to try a new pastry, and enjoy the warm hospitality that this neighborhood offers. With a full stomach and a satisfied palate, you will be perfectly positioned to dive back into the rich cultural offerings of Seville, whether that means returning to the museum or simply getting lost in the beautiful maze of streets just outside its doors.
