12 Best Hotels Near Alameda de Hércules

Alameda de Hércules is more than just a wide, tree-lined promenade; it is the beating heart of Seville’s alternative culture. Known locally as "La Alameda," this historic square is flanked by bustling tapas bars, vintage boutiques, and late-night music venues. While it sits slightly north of the main tourist circuit surrounding the Cathedral, staying here places you squarely in the middle of the city’s most authentic and bohemian neighborhood.

Choosing to base yourself near the Alameda means you trade the postcard-perfect quiet of Santa Cruz for a vibrant, lived-in atmosphere. You will be surrounded by locals walking their dogs, artists discussing their next project, and food lovers enjoying some of the best modern Andalusian cuisine in the city. The area offers a perfect balance of daytime relaxation under the shade of the columned promenade and energetic nightlife that lasts until dawn.

However, the area is expansive, and the quality of accommodation can vary wildly from historic boutique hotels to modern apartments. The best hotels near Alameda de Hércules offer a respite from the noise while keeping you steps away from the action. Whether you are looking for rooftop pools, traditional Andalusian courtyards, or sleek minimalist design, the surrounding streets have something to suit every type of traveler.

The location also serves as an excellent strategic base for exploring the rest of Seville. From here, you can walk to the Metropol Parasol (Las Setas) in about ten minutes, while the main shopping district of Calle Sierpes is just a bit further south. The Guadalquivir River and the Isla de la Cartuja are also easily accessible on foot or by a short bike ride.

Because this neighborhood is a favorite among repeat visitors and digital nomads, the hospitality standards are generally high. Hotels here tend to focus on personality and comfort rather than just volume. You will find many properties housed in beautifully restored 18th and 19th-century manor houses that retain their original tiled floors and central patios.

Understanding the local layout is key to choosing the right hotel. The eastern end of the Alameda tends to be slightly quieter, while the western end is where you will find the highest concentration of nightclubs and bars. If you are a light sleeper, look for properties on side streets like Calle Trajano or Calle Calatrava, which offer proximity without the direct noise.

Below, we have curated a list of the best places to stay in this dynamic area, ranging from luxury retreats to budget-friendly gems. Each property has been selected for its unique character, service quality, and ability to enhance your experience of Seville’s most creative district.

Cozy, comfortable, clean and quiet. Gorgeous building, funky decor. Close to downtown. Karmen made our stay wonderful by communicating with us quickly and giving great suggestions re: sightseeing and restaurants

A truly stunning apartment, beautiful, calming and relaxing. In the heart of the city, there are many local shops. The negative reviews are a thing of the past; we had no issues. The only issue we had was not booking longer.

This is the worst apartment ever I wish I can give them -1000 We had a room on the ground floor First of all the first day we arrived we found spider’s net with a lot of insects underneath the side table and on the next day morning there were a lot of ants all over the floor. You can see the photo attached when I complained to the owner she sent the lady to clean, but on the first place it was disgusting And on the third day, we have found dead cockroach on the floor inside the room Also 2-3 worms as well as flies and mosquitoes If booking allows me to add more photos I have like the bellow photos to share The whole place is disgusting. I would never recommend it to anyone. Also the walls has a lot of dampness parches everywhere on the walls And they don’t leave a card it’s either you don’t want anyone to enter the room or you want to clean the room so the lady without our permission keeps getting in and out without informing us . I don’t know how they get high score on booking

We loved this accommodation. It is really funky and have so much character. The location is amazing. Less than 30min walk to the main sites ( cathedral, plalace), but short walk to others, and only 25min to the train station. Just outside there are plenty of restaurants, bars, bakeries and small supermarkets. The room is simple but has all you need! Highly recommended!

Absolutely the worst experience of my life in terms of accommodation. We had several huge cockroaches in the apartment (ground floor) and when we informed the owner about it, he said it was not true and ignored the problem. When we sent him the video and pictures of those cockroaches, he stopped responding. Definitely avoid this accommodation!

A fantastic hotel with excellent service in the middle of a wonderful little community. I came here with my partner, and the room was spotless with several amenities - including a hair dryer, fridge, air-con and wireless. There was a lovely view of the Alameda from our Balcony, it was just too hot to open the blinds! The staff were friendly and approachable. I cannot say anything bad about this hotel, it was fantastic, and I would definitely come back. I even left my laptop in the hotel room, but they were able to get it shipped back to me the very next day! That is service!

When you plan your authentic Spanish hotel in Andalusia, this property is what you would dream of. The location was superb, step outside directly onto the Alameda avenue with bars restaurants, cafés and stores. 10 min walk to the river 20 mins walk from the main attractions. Great room with Aircon looking onto the avenue. The hotel interior was first rate, and you like you were stepping back in time. Breakfast was very good, very friendly staff. Very difficult to find any negative feedback, so I won't, superb 7 day stay

My wife and I spent four nights here exploring the wonderful city of Seville. The hotel has a great little "vibe" about it. We loved the little courtyards which were lovely and peaceful and a complete contrast to the lively atmosphere of the area outside. Just a short 20 minute walk into the city, the hotel is close to many bars and good restaurants and has a very "local" feel to it. From the helpful reception staff, to the cleaning ladies, the breakfast team and the terrace bar staff, all were lovely. We enjoyed going up the little terrace bar in the late afternoon after a day sightseeing.

We stayed one night at this hotel and would like to begin by acknowledging the kindness and professionalism of the staff, who were genuinely pleasant throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to expectations. We had specifically requested a double bed, yet were given two single beds. Our room was located on the ground floor, directly facing the courtyard, which proved to be extremely noisy. The lack of soundproofing was particularly striking , we could clearly hear people walking past, rolling suitcases just outside our door, and noise from neighboring rooms. As a result, we had a very poor night’s sleep. What was most disappointing, however, was the noticeable contrast between the hotel’s courtyard, which appears charming and authentic, and the rooms themselves. The interior felt artificial and disconnected from the atmosphere suggested by the common areas, to the point where it gave the impression of style over substance. While we understand that the staff are not responsible for these issues, they do seem to reflect broader decisions in management and overall guest experience

A warm welcome when we walked in the hotel. The hotel breathes the Sevilla vibe and the staff is wonderfull. The room was perfect and clean. Every day the cleaning service makes your beds and cleans your room. The breakfest is served upstairs and gives you plenty to choose from. The lovely ladies that served our breakbeat where the sweetest. I would recommend the hotel we stayed for a fulltime week. The place of the hotel is central enough to take al little walk to the little local shops and the perfect eating spots. When you walk al little bit to the corner you can find a lot of local diners for the perfect spanish feeling and treats. And in the evening it is a warm welcome when you walk outside and there are people dancing and singing i loved the whole vibe. And when you love to shop you have to walk about 10 minutes for al kind of stores. You can go sightseeing all different kind of little trips. And in the hotel they have al kinds of tips for you.

Absolutely wonderful and beautifully located hotel. Hotel The welcome I received from Anaball was amazing and made me feel at home immediately. Christian was also incredibly kind, welcoming, and always very helpful. Claudia assisted me a lot with the reservation beforehand and made everything easy and smooth. My room, number 13, was beautiful, very comfortable, and had a lovely atmosphere. I truly enjoyed my stay and can highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely come back again!

Good location, clean room, great value, bathroom was great, good service.

This was a decent place to stay while visiting Seville. The room was clean, a good size, and the location on the Alameda was bustling. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the city centre. Check in was easy as it’s all done digitally, but if you don’t have access to data, be sure to check in advance in case reception is closed when you arrive. The bed was comfortable (I was in room 7) and the shower was hot/great water pressure. The terrace has also been updated/renovated and is really beautiful. In terms of what I didn’t like as much: the room was very noisy. I couldn’t hear any of the other guests in the building, but the cars and people on the street could be heard very clearly. If you are sensitive to sound when trying to sleep, this should be a deal breaker. Next, the shower doors don’t stop water from escaping so the bathroom floor would flood each time I had a shower. I had to use all of the spare towels to dry it up. Lastly, the windows had been left open prior to my arrival, so there were some flies and mosquitos in the room during my entire stay.
Mohamed Zaki★★★☆☆
Stayed 3 nights and hardly slept any of them cause of the street noise as the area is full of restraints and bars and even passing cars and buses are loudly audible. The room is spacious and nice though. They sent like 50 messages or so through booking.com promoting airport pick up which is annoying .. 1 or 2 messages were more than enough. On the second day, no one made my room although I put the sign from 9am until 3pm, the following day it was done when I didn’t bother to put the sign. They can put at least a bottle of water and coffee, will hardly cost them anything but would be a nice gesture.
Costanza Cerioni★★★★☆
The place is great for the price. For very cheap (for Seville's standards) we had a great room, very spacious, with lots of natural light (big window and a little Juliette balcony), and the bathroom was good size too. I was very happy overall! The only bad thing is that there was no one in reception and we had to leave our suitcases for a day and had to go to another hotel 10 minutes by taxi, which was a bit annoying...

This hotel is in a perfect location all the main sites are within easy walking distance. The accommodation is very clean, the rooms are very comfortable ideal for a short stay. All of the staff are very welcoming, friendly, attentive to detail and happy to offer advise during your stay. We visited the roof bar where a tasting menu is serve with a wine flight available. Food and service excellent, would highly recommend.

A little distance from Santa Justa train station either a 30 minute bus ride or a 10-15 minute taxi away. However, this small hotel it beautifully situated on the side of the huge, lively and interesting Plaza de Hércules so I got to discover a different part of the city. I stayed for one night only. The staff were super helpful (I never can get my head around AC controls!) The room was very clean and well designed, bed comfortable. Kettle, tea, coffee etc were available from a trolley on the landing. Breakfast not supplied but plenty of nearby options

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are wonderfully comfortable and very well designed, they're just a tiny bit small. I've really enjoyed staying here and would happily stay here much longer. The restaurant downstairs is excellent and the small balcony has a delightful view.

I like this hotel although small and cozy, the room size is good and its close to main areas of Seville, also great restaurant. Amazing option for those on budget.

The A/C was really functional compared to almost all other hotels and air bnb’s I have stayed at in Spain

Excellent hotel in fantastic location. Rooms are styled well and staff friendly and helpful. There is a small pool and loungers on the roof. We booked a terrace room which unfortunately was severely impacted by demolition of building next door with noise & vibration from drilling from 8am - receptionist was very understanding and moved us to a lovely suite. Would advise against booking a terrace room currently. We have stayed here before and would book again.

Highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is beautifully decorated including a fantastic pool area and courtyard. The hotel included small thoughtful touches throughout our stay. The shower pressure and temperature were amazing and the hotel itself is located close to many restaurants and shops.

Great location close to many things, but not at all happy with the rooms, cleanliness or attitude of some staff. Have had to ask for bed linen to be changed as was stained and lots of black hairs. Lots of flies and bird poop outside the room door. No sound proof at all - you can hear every single noise from the street and also rooms next to you. Impossible to sleep. Air conditioning is set to warm heating for all rooms, which is absurd in a city like sevilla, and randomly turns off. I have had to go x3 to ask to have some cool air (in the day) but have been told it changes it for all rooms so they can’t, as some people might want it hot. Met with combative attitude on this topic. For me, if you want a hot room, you should not be turning on the air conditioning, as it’s already warm. I won’t be returning to this hotel. **had to repost this as last review was accidentally deleted. Hotel replied saying I should have told them, but as mentioned in my review, I have.
Kristián Csémy★☆☆☆☆
Charged for a service they never delivered, then argued about it Hard to believe this place has 4 stars. My family stayed here in April 2026 and the experience was genuinely shocking. The hotel called ahead to charge an extra €50 for an additional bed for their young daughter. Fine. Except when they arrived, no bed had been set up. The receptionist’s response to this wasn’t an apology — it was an argument. No solution was offered, no discount, nothing. Just attitude. They had to find a new hotel at 10:30 at night, with a child, in an unfamiliar city. The replacement hotel handled everything warmly and efficiently in minutes. The contrast could not have been more stark. Whatever this place charges, it does not deliver 4-star service when it matters. Would not recommend.

Very nice hotel in a well located area of Seville. Room was spacious, service was friendly and the price was reasonable. The only thing I would note was that the room air conditioning was not that strong but it is also unusually hot in Seville right now. Overall I would recommend a stay here.

Yes stay here! One of the best parts of our stay was the breakfast at this hotel. We had breakfast included at the restaurant adjoining and it was simply fabulous. Smoked Salmon, beet hummus, green smoothies, etc made to order. All until noon!’. Such a treat. The rooms were great, very clean, not cramped and comfortable. Sometimes we would hear nighttime noises but this was fine with us. There a large nightlife scene in Seville. The staff was so helpful with reservations and suggestions. They do not have shampoo and conditioner or bar soap by the way, a wall pump with hands and body soap only. This didn’t bother my husband however! Just a lovely stay.

The Superior room offers excellent value for money. It is spacious and has a reasonably sized bathroom. Air conditioning and WiFi connection work fine. The location is on a noisy street, but not a problem if you keep the windows closed. The advantage is that there are many good restaurants nearby. It is also possible to rest in a beautiful quiet air-conditioned patio. If you are coming to Seville as a tourist and do not enjoy lots of walking, you might prefer to stay closer to the city center. A single walk to the main sights is fine, but if you prefer to do some sightseeing in the morning, then take a rest in the hotel, and continue sightseeing in the evening, you might need to walk a lot. I recommend to pay for the delicious breakfast, which is served in a nearby restaurant from 8:00 till 11:30. Note this is an a la carte breakfast, and the waiting time is about 10-15 minutes, so make sure you have at least 30 minutes. The staff in the hotel as well as in the breakfast restaurant are friendly and helpful.

My wife and I stayed for five nights in mid-July. This beautiful boutique hotel provided a wonderful place of refuge and recharging after each day of walking the streets in the hot Andalusian sun. In midday, the highly efficient air conditioning was a blessing, while at night, we could just open our window and let the cool breeze flow though the room. The attendants at the front desk were very friendly, and helped us solve a number of logistical problems (since we had no international phone service). The location on the Alameda de Hercules was close to the major attractions, yet removed enough from El Centro to provide a local feel. Hamburgers, pizza, Chinese food, and authentic Spanish cuisine were all within short walking distance. People of all ages were active on the Alemeda at all hours, and my wife felt completely safe to venture outside at anytime, surrounded by all the dog walkers and other locals who populated the area. Our Spanish is pretty weak, but we were able to have conversations in English (and broken Spanish) with several locals and tourists from other parts of the world. For the price, you simply cannot beat this hotel. We will definitely return on our next trip to Sevilla. I enthusiasticly recommend the Hotel Sancristía de Santa Ana.
Benjamin Etherington★☆☆☆☆
Careful with this place. A previous 1 star review mentioned the room was postage stamp size but didn’t mention how small a humid, windowless room with no temperature control could be. Room temperatures hovered around 90 degrees all night long (in January). Room thermostat didn’t work and front desk couldn’t have cared less. Pretty rooms on the website but buyer beware; this place can be a real vacation spoiler. We’re used to roughing it and you can do a lot better for this place’s prices.
Krystyna Bartoszewska★★★★★
The hotel had everything we needed and the room was very comfortable. Had toiletries, TV, tea making facility, safe, fridge, plenty of space for clothes. Within walking distance of many cafes, restaurants, bars and shops and also to most attractions. On bus route if need be.

Sadly for the first time ever I left this holiday accommodation early . We booked 3 nights here , the first being a late arrival ( after 5 pm) so had to use a machine to check in , the person in front of us was struggling so it took forever . When we eventually checked in we got two codes , impossible to remember, one for the main door then one for the room , this was kept in photos on a phone to use every time we wanted to get in ( it wasn’t short!) The studio itself was clean and had everything we needed however the location was nothing less than horrendous The road we looked over was a Main Street and was noisy all day and night with busses , lorry’s , cars and people. Even on the third floor voices were carried up into the early hours from people leaving local bars . Customers in the building were loud during the night , young people bringing party atmosphere even drinking and laughing in the stairwells where we found beer cans left each morning. After two nights of it we tried to talk with someone who was actually in the reception who just said nothing he could do. We decided that spending money on another hotel would be better than staying another night here and it was the best choice we made. The pool area was dirty , sunbeds stained , one umbrella for the whole rooftop so we didn’t stay , in fact never saw anyone else using it during the afternoon If you are a party lover and don’t mind noise throughout the night this is for you , we were very disappointed and done research and don’t be fooled by the videos , descriptions and pictures !

Five stars only because of the staff - especially Tamara, the receptionist, delivered an extraordinary customer service. We had the apartment F01, which unfortunately did not have the room service included despite of a relative high price (I must admit that it has been announced). Overall a good place to stay: rooms are good and customer service is excellent.

A very nice, beautiful, and cute apartment hotel! I was genuinely surprised by all the amenities provided — way more than I expected. The apartment had everything: an iron and ironing board, microwave, dishwasher, stove, coffee machine with coffee pods and milk, and even a thoughtful cleaning kit with laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, napkins, and scrubbers. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. The bed and overall atmosphere made for a perfect night’s sleep. Excellent value for money and attention to detail. Highly recommend this place!

This hotel is a good mid range option. Its quite close to the center (if you are mobile and can walk a little bit everyday, no problem) coffee is not too good, breakfast is quite good over all. Rooms are clean and the pool etc are nice and clean. Very cute inside garden. Enjoyed it.

I cannot say enough about this property. I am traditionally a Marriot person but decided to try this property based on location. My two sisters and I stayed October 7-15 in a triple room. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. We opted for breakfast included which had plenty of options including a coffee machine for my morning Capaccino's. Location is great for walking around the city with lots of close restaurants to walk to in the evening. The front desk staff were always friendly, smiling, and offered many suggestions for restaurants. We enjoyed relaxing each evening in the bar with a nightcap. We look forward to staying here again when in Seville. Amazing staff!

We had a pleasant stay at Eurostars Regina. The room was comfortable and generally clean, and the hotel offers very good value for money. The location is also great, making it easy to explore Seville. There were a few small issues, though. Although the room looked clean overall, I found a few long hairs on one of the towels, which was a bit disappointing. The TV doesn't include YouTube or Netflix, so entertainment options are quite limited. We also tried to use the online check-out, but the link didn't work, so we couldn't access it. Despite these minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay. If you're looking for a comfortable hotel in a good location at a reasonable price, this is a solid choice.

Okey hotel with great location when you learn the neighbourhood. Service was good with polite staff and made something special for us to feel welcome. The main problem were somewhat noisy rooms with very bad isolation and something bit smelly in the hallways.

Great hotel. Room was clean and tidy, bathroom small but the shower was hot and powerful enough. Convenient location from the bus stop and easy walking distance to nearby coffee shops, bakeries or just a little bit further into the city centre.

Very small room not like booking photo. Only furniture is ONE nightstand and small metal dining chair. Front desk is unhelpful and borders on rude. I forgot my teeth retainers and was told I had to make the arrangements to have them sent back to me and they would not help. Called Eurostars Corp.and they said deal with the hotel ,they can't help. You can't arrange a package pickup without weight and dimensions. Also,I asked for parking prearrival, was told on check in none available park in public lot 15 min away. She also told me 3 times I had 5 minutes to tske my things to my room before moving my car. Found out later there was one available the next night, which THEY never offered. I inquired myself. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

• Staff & Service: The team here is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They make you feel welcome from the moment you check in. • Breakfast: Definitely worth including! The buffet offers a great variety, including fresh pastries, and good coffee, which is a perfect way to fuel up before walking to Royal Alcazar Gardens. • Rooms: The rooms are a decent size for a city hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and they maintain a nice balance of modern amenities. Highly recommended.

I would like to raise awareness about what I found to be a very misleading listing. On Booking.com, the property is listed as “Ritual Alameda Seville” without the word “hostel” in the name. Based on the listing name, photos, and the fact that I booked a standard double room with a private bathroom, I genuinely believed I was booking a hotel, not a hostel. When I arrived in Seville, I took a taxi and informed them ritual alameda hotel and searched it also in google to show him the address. Upon arrival, I found myself at Ritual Alameda Suites. The lady who answered the door seemed irritated and immediately asked for an access code. I explained that the phone I was using to communicate via WhatsApp did not have internet access at that moment. She then called the property where my reservation was supposedly located and informed me that I had actually booked the hostel. I was very surprised and told her that I was certain I had booked a hotel. She replied that the hostel was a different property. When the lady called that hostel it became worse, while I was standing outside in the heat with heavy luggage, I was informed over the phone that check-in would not be until 4:00 PM, even though I had expected to check in at 2:00 PM. At that point, I felt extremely frustrated and misled. The staff in the wrong ritual alameda where I went, gave me directions to walk to the hostel. However, considering the weather, my exhaustion, the luggage, and the fact that we were traveling with a baby, walking was not a realistic option. As a result, I decided to cancel the reservation. It was a disaster and a real inconvenience. My main concern is that the property’s name and presentation on Booking.com can easily lead travelers to believe they are booking a hotel rather than a hostel.

We stayed there for three days (mid June). We got one of the basement rooms, specifically next to the kitchen. Overall, our stay was okay and not the expensive, and the location of the hostel is really close to the center. The room was also well air-conditioned. However, two were the main issues: 1) the place had many dead cockroaches. Also, they sprayed everyday the common areas (kitchen and sitting room) with insecticides making it uncomfortable, to say the least, being there and the smell got into the rooms unfortunately. 2) I cannot say whether this is true for other rooms or not, but it was too noisy as we could hear everything in our room. Especially in the morning, the cleaning crew was way too loud waking us up way too early. In addition, any time anyone was entering/leaving the building m.

If you want to be HOMELESS in Seville, Spain – book this hotel. Despite receiving confirmation of my reservation for October 1st – 3rd, 2024, I was unable to gain access to this hotel upon my arrival and no one responded to my email or phone call. In short, I was left without a place to stay and had to secure other accommodations – at a premium price. I booked this hotel via the Citi Travel website and as of this writing they have not responded to my request for reimbursement. I ended up spending almost $500 USD for a two-night stay in Seville at other hotels. As a solo-female traveler, I was stranded without a place to stay and it was dark outside – not an experience that I ever want to repeat. Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers who helped me find other accommodations. Do not book this hotel!

We stayed here and had a magnificent, immaculate room with a wonderful view. I could have just stayed there the whole day. The manager has the hotel running to a very high degree. Staff were so nice and attentive. Breakfast was fantastic; you can have anything and it was always no trouble. We would definitely visit again and recommend.

In a perfect spot not too far a walk from.the city centre. Fabulously appointed apartment with every facility you could think of. Already planning to be back in a few weeks and I've only been here a couple of hours!!!!

I had a whole apartment for a great price compared to a hotel room. The staff were lovely and the place was fantastic. The apartment was modern and well built, I really recommend.

Unfortunately, our stay was significantly disrupted by issues with our room and poor communication afterwards. We were woken early by water dripping through the bathroom extractor vent, accompanied by a strong unpleasant smell. The leak quickly accumulated, soaking some of our belongings. Although the initial repair was carried out promptly, the following day we were asked to stay out of our room for further work, despite explaining that we needed access at lunchtime for our toddler to sleep. Later that evening we were told we would need to move rooms due to concerns about another leak. This meant packing up all of our belongings, including everything for our child, on our final full day before departure, disrupting two evenings and pre-booked plans the following day. We were told we would be appropriately compensated, but nothing has been offered, and our email to management has gone unanswered for over a week. We understand maintenance issues can happen, but the disruption, lack of communication, and failure to follow up left us very disappointed.

atLumbreras16 hotel rooms are spacious and well equipped. There are laundry rooms on the 2nd and 4th floor containing a washer and dryer. Friendly staff is available at reception lobby throughout the day if help is needed. Our stay here was really comfortable.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel last month. It is a cute hotel with a lovely interior. The interior is elegant yet cosy with beautiful paintings and a lovely waiting area. A special thanks to Elisa who helped me and made the checking in and checking out process smooth. She was very helpful with guiding me about taxis and nearby locations, additionally she kindly helped me with my luggage also. I would love to return one day and stay here. Thank you!

This is the loudest hotel I've ever stayed in. The rooms are not soundproof so till 1 o'clock in the morning you hear the doors opening and closing and some slamming. Then again in the morning, so sleeping in is totally out of the question! The rooms need to be updated. The bathroom is very tiny that you can wash your hands and go to toilet at the same time. There's no counter space in bathroom and not proper lighting and the tub you have to be very careful. You might kill yourself. The beds need to be burned and the pillows. I always travel with my own pillow. There is no room service, but they say there's a restaurant that they can order food for you and have it delivered to the room in 30 minutes, so not true it took almost an hour, and it was very cold and if your room is in the courtyard area, you're taking a big chance of loud people out in the courtyard area totally do not recommend this Hotel and I will never stay here again! I don't know how this is a 4 star/sun Hotel. I stayed for four days and I couldn't wait to go home! The staff is kind and polite. That's the only thing good and of course it's has a cute lobby and cute courtyard. Apparently no one's really checking the rooms out cause I still don't get how this is a four star hotel I was excited to get here and just dealt with it, but I've traveled the world and stated a lot of hotels. This is definitely one that I would not recommend and I don't know how they get any stars I would give this a zero star hotel.

I never got to stay here, but I want to share how the cancellation was handled. I had surgery on 4 August and my surgeon certified I couldn’t travel until 20 September. I sent the report through Hotels.com well before my 22 August booking. The property’s answer, relayed to me twice, was that they couldn’t review “a reduction of the cost” while the booking was still active, and asked me to cancel it first. I did, nine days before check-in, in peak August, so the room could easily be resold. Once it was cancelled, they refused any refund at all. Not a partial one, not a credit, nothing. For comparison: my hotel in Madrid, booked for the same trip, read the same certificate and refunded me without any argument. That’s the difference I’d want a future guest to know about. Asking someone to release the room first and then declining to offer anything isn’t something I’d expect from a place I’d chosen to stay at. The rooms may well be fine. I never found out.

Well established in the historical center of Seville, it offers the opportunity to walk around the city easily. Good breakfast. Visited the place in the last October. The neighborhood is quiet and this can be pretty dangerous if you are walking out at late night. I was attacked and robbed while I was returning to the hotel after 1:30 am in the last of four nights staying, about 40m away from the hotel. Very good place to stay in Seville but you have be careful at night.

Location - close to city center. Durning a booking ask for room without window pointed to street. Sound isolation is poor and the noise from city is annoying. Make sure AC in room is working, my did not but I have noticed it in the middle of the night. Patio and corridors are cosy and nice but I would expect more from 4 star hotel.

Tips for Choosing the Perfect Hotel Near Alameda de Hércules

Selecting the right base in this vibrant district requires a bit of local knowledge, as the atmosphere can change significantly from street to street. The following recommendations are designed to help you match your accommodation to your travel style, ensuring you get the best sleep possible while staying close to the action. Whether you are visiting for the food, the nightlife, or the history, these practical tips will help you navigate the local hotel scene like a pro.

  1. Consider the Noise Factor: The Alameda is famous for its nightlife, which can extend into the early morning hours, especially on weekends. If you are a light sleeper, request a room facing an interior courtyard (patio) rather than the street. Many historic buildings have thick walls, but modern soundproofing varies, so reading recent guest reviews regarding noise is essential.

  2. Look for Rooftop Amenities: Seville is one of the hottest cities in Europe, and having a plunge pool or a shaded rooftop terrace is a game-changer during the summer months. After a long day of sightseeing, a hotel with a small pool allows you to cool down and enjoy the sunset views over the city’s rooftops before heading out for dinner.

  3. Embrace the Boutique Experience: While there are a few larger chain hotels in the vicinity, the true charm of this area lies in its boutique properties. These smaller hotels are often converted from historic homes and offer a level of personalized service and architectural detail (like original frescoes or antique tiles) that you simply won’t find in a standard corporate hotel.

  4. Check for Parking and Accessibility: The streets surrounding Alameda de Hércules are largely pedestrianized or have restricted vehicle access. If you are renting a car to explore Andalusia, verify that your hotel offers private parking or has a partnership with a nearby public garage. Navigating the narrow, crowded streets with luggage and a rental car can be stressful without a pre-arranged plan.

  5. Dine Where the Locals Do: While many hotels in this area offer excellent breakfasts, you are surrounded by some of the best tapas bars in the city. Consider booking a rate that excludes breakfast at least once or twice so you can start your day like a local with a "tostada con tomate" and fresh orange juice at a nearby terrace overlooking the columns.

Staying near Alameda de Hércules offers a side of Seville that many day-trippers miss entirely. It is a place where the city’s Roman roots blend seamlessly with a modern, avant-garde spirit. By choosing the right hotel, you ensure that your trip is not just a visit to a monument, but a genuine immersion into the Sevillian way of life.

As you wander back to your room after a late dinner, with the sound of flamenco guitar drifting from a nearby bar and the soft glow of the street lamps illuminating the historic columns, you will understand why this neighborhood captures the hearts of so many travelers. It is a place that invites you to slow down, stay a while, and truly live the rhythm of the city.
