15 Best Shopping Malls in Valencia

From the gleaming glass facades of modern architectural marvels to historic market halls that have served locals for over a century, Valencia offers a retail landscape as diverse as its famous paella. Shopping in Spain’s third-largest city is not merely a transaction; it is a cultural experience that blends leisure, gastronomy, and architecture. Whether you are hunting for high-end fashion, local artisan crafts, or simply trying to escape the Mediterranean heat for a few hours, the city’s commercial centers cater to every conceivable need.

Valencia’s unique geography means you can transition from the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean to a climate-controlled shopping paradise in under fifteen minutes. The city has invested heavily in modern infrastructure, making its retail hubs easily accessible by metro, tram, and bus. For visitors staying in the historic center or the City of Arts and Sciences, a world-class shopping excursion is often just a short walk away.

The retail scene here is defined by a distinct contrast between the old and the new. You will find sprawling, contemporary centers that act as entertainment hubs, complete with cinemas, aquariums, and gourmet food courts. Conversely, you can explore traditional markets and boutique arcades that have been the backbone of local commerce for generations, offering a more authentic taste of Valencian life.

For the international tourist, shopping malls in Valencia serve a dual purpose. They are, of course, places to buy clothes, electronics, and souvenirs. But they are also climate-controlled oases during the scorching summer months and community gathering spots on Sundays when many smaller city-center shops close their doors.

Understanding the layout of the city is key to a successful retail excursion. The most expansive centers are often located on the outskirts, offering massive parking structures and direct highway access. Meanwhile, community centers within the city limits provide a more curated, convenient experience, often featuring supermarkets alongside fashion retailers.

This guide has been curated to help you navigate the best retail spaces the city has to offer. We have evaluated these locations based on architectural significance, variety of stores, dining options, accessibility via public transport, and family-friendly amenities. Whether you are a serious fashionista or a casual browser, you will find a destination that fits your itinerary.

Below, we explore the premier shopping destinations in Valencia, detailing what makes each one unique and why they deserve a spot on your travel itinerary.

Honestlly, this mall is so nice. Everything is there; food, clothes, supermarket, cafés entertainment, etc. I recommend it.

El Saler Shopping Center is a vibrant retail hub in Valencia, featuring a diverse range of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. With its modern architecture and spacious layout, it provides a lively atmosphere for shopping and leisure, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors. 28/10/2024 - Update after company reply: First of all, it seems your perception about reviews is a bit mistaken. Reviews are not a request for assistance and don't require an answer. Reviews are just an opinion about the company. Furthermore, who said to you that my review was not written by a customer? And if it was really not written by a customer, what's the point? It's the most ridiculous reply I ever got. I'm praising the company and they come to question my review with unfounded claims.
john verhagen★★★★☆
Good location, Good parking and lot's of shops and food possibilities
Vilarejos★★★★☆
El Saler shopping mall is a pleasant place with the kind of shops you can find in almost every shopping mall in Spain, with some different options. The food court has a good variety of restaurants, like any shopping mall. The parking lot is large but a bit confusing. In any case, during peak hours it's difficult to find a parking space. A tip: on holidays, parking is free, so if you want to visit this mall or the City of Arts and Sciences, it's a good parking option and you can still enjoy the mall. The Carrefour in the mall is large and has good prices for being in a mall.

Very nice shopping mall in a very convenient location around different attractions. As tourists, it was within a walking distance from our wonderful hotel, where we able to buy some snacks, dine in and do shopping several times. All services are available such as pharmacy, supermarkets and all essentials. The shopping experience was also nice as they have some nice brands. The mall layout is very smart with natural lighting and semi open air, still you feel cool with the air conditioning coming from the shops. Finally, they have nice view, accessible to wheelchairs and you can park your scooter 🛴 inside the mall.

A great museum with beautiful location. Keeping good historical things and knowledge about soler system and sound travel from walls.

Very nice salon with super friendly staff! Great first time experience. My stylist RAFFAELLA did an amazing job. I love the cut, color and mask/toner treatment.

Modern outdoor shopping mall just across the Oceanographic Museum. The Spanish normal shops with a good summer sale. Snacks and dining on the top two floors. Good shade even in the heat during siesta time. Maybe not worth traveling for but if you’re around it’s a good place to cool down and get some energy.

Modern shopping center with a good variety of stores, restaurants, and services. Clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. The overall experience was very good, although some areas could benefit from more seating and relaxation spaces.
Oreste Gaspari★★★★☆
Nuevo Centro is a very convenient shopping centre, with plenty of shops, a supermarket and several places to eat both indoors and outside. Being connected to El Corte Inglés makes the whole area even more useful. For us, staying at the Novotel next door, it was perfect for having almost everything within a few minutes’ walk.
Firasat Khan★★★★☆
Excellent shopping centre with lots of food outlet.
J Bradley★★★★☆
Nuevo Centro, situated in Valencia, offers a comprehensive shopping experience with an extensive variety of options. From fashion, food, and dining to music, sports, toys, home goods, jewelry, gifts, accessories, travel, beauty products, footwear, and leisure activities, this mall caters to a wide range of interests and needs. The website is quite informative, providing essential details like opening hours, access information, a store directory, and updates on various events and news related to Nuevo Centro. This makes planning a visit effortless. The diverse range of stores and activities available at Nuevo Centro makes it a great destination for a day out with family or friends. However, the mall can get quite busy during peak hours, so it's best to visit during off-peak times for a more relaxed experience.
William Mustajärvi★★★☆☆
Poor food options, almost only burgers available. The information desk clerk was unkind and no outstanding stores. The main shopping streets offer a better experience.

Very large mall and beautiful to walk around especially during the holidays as it is nicely decorated. It combines indoor and outdoor sections nicely and has many restaurants, stores, a theater and even an arcade and bowling area. Along with an “outlet village” which is like a village made up of outlet stores, jumpyard, some other large businesses located within the malls area and some spread out restaurants. These places aren’t in the main area of the mall, but are in the overall Bonaire mall area. However, difficult to reach by public transport. No metro and bus comes every 30 min. Long ride if you live in center of city. Also the whole mall essentially shuts down on Sunday with access allowed but only a few stores are actually open. Besides that, nice mall
Souad B★★★☆☆
I was a bit disappointed, to be honest. I visited during what I heard was a promotional period, but I didn’t really find the great deals I was expecting. Most of the prices seemed pretty normal, and there wasn’t a huge selection either. Maybe I just went at the wrong time, but for an outlet, I expected better discounts and more variety. Overall, it was okay, just not worth the hype in my experience.

I go to Bonaire pretty often, really like it. It’s big, open air, nice to walk around. Lots of shops and boutiques, you can find pretty much everything. Good place to come with family, kids have stuff to do too. Parking is big, usually no problem to find a spot. Overall just a nice place to spend some time and do shopping.
Adi Samson★★★★★
Huge area for everything you need/ want. Lots of brand shops for clothes and not only. You can find also a huge Decathlon and also outlet shops from various brands. You can eat here as there are a set of food area, also you can just have fun as there is a transport cable and other type of fun area/ games room.

Of Course 5 Stars 🌟. This is the most iconic place in Valencia, Spain 🇪🇸 with the highest amount of visitors from Valencia, nearby cities, and even from around the world. When you are planning to visit Valencia, Spain 🇪🇸 just park your car and have a wonderful shopping 🛍 experience in Centró Comercial Bonaire. After reaching there, you can have wonderful pictures and after visiting the wide variety of shops you can have wonderful treat for your eyes at night watching the water fountain ⛲️. The shopping complex has eye-catching structure and thousands of different shops, restaurants, cafes, and luxury brands. The endless walking is a great workout for anyone the comes here and will take some time to explore and check all the things out. It was a nice visit and will repeat again.

Beautiful mall. Lots of clothes. A wide selection of watches. A man's kingdom.
El Barto★★★☆☆
They have a small selection of Hot Wheels on the top floor, but it's mostly older stock. It doesn't seem like they receive regular deliveries, so if you're specifically looking for Hot Wheels, it's probably not worth making a special trip here unless you have some time to spare. If you do have extra time, it's still worth taking a quick look—you might get lucky.
Cabo John★★★★★
This store has everything .. Quality for sure, pricing and bit higher, but location is fantastic. Check out tills are a little tight and entrance into the building with carry on cart is kinda of a pain, not as simple as going to a regular supermarket. I give it 4.6 stars.
Mark MTL★★★★★
What a wonderful place! I loved it from a to z. The location is perfect. The design is perfect. The service is so great. Most products are very high quality. Very recommended.

This is my absolute favorite multi-brand store — simply the best! This particular location is neither too big nor too small. The -1 floor features a fantastic supermarket with an excellent selection of food products. The other floors are organized as usual: accessories, perfumes, sunglasses, and cosmetics on one level; women’s clothing (mostly for a more mature style) on the next; then men’s clothing, followed by children’s collections, and finally all my favorite local and well-loved brands! One floor above is dedicated to sportswear, and honestly, we didn’t even have the energy to explore further. We visited during the sales and were extremely happy with our purchases. The staff was also very helpful. Even though we are foreigners and their English was limited, we still managed to communicate perfectly…
Grace Vargiu★★★★★
Great parking beautiful terrace with a great view. The menu could be better. Very little variety.
Ahmed Zayed★★★★★
El Corte Inglés really has everything under one roof! The supermarket in the basement is amazing, offering an incredible selection of high-end, gourmet foods and international products. The August sales (Rebajas) have fantastic discounts across fashion and home goods, and their Back to School (Vuelta al Cole) section is fully stocked with supplies, uniforms, and books. A one-stop shop with top-tier quality and service.
Docile Shiba (Docile Shiba)★★★★☆
There’s a remarkable array of brands available, particularly for women, offering a delightful selection that is hard to resist. Many items are on sale, boasting impressive discounts that can pique your interest. However, despite the appealing reductions, the original price tags tend to be on the higher side. The Tax refund counter is downstairs on the -1 floor.
Russell Wilson★☆☆☆☆
Only if I have no other choice, I'll go here. Most rude staff. Today the sales person was nice and helpful. Usually security comes because I want to touch what I'm buying They suck. But have a good selection of hard to find items.

This is an awesome place to take the family and friends to hang out. There’s laser tag, the movies, bowling, games, jumping, little rides, a carousel, interactive games, virtual rides and a bunch of restaurants mixed in. We have a blast every time we go!
Nao Xu★★★☆☆
Regular mall, quite generic food options and most things are overpriced, but kids like it. The self driving cars for 5-10 year olds are best, the arcade can be hit and miss, for example, check machines like the air hockey or table football machine are working, have any balls necessary, are not broken somehow, before putting money in. Tiny parking spaces but lots of them.
thierry doizon★★★★☆
Heron City/Kinepolis: An all-American family-friendly extravaganza. Nestled amidst the pine hills of Paterna, you can escape into this family-friendly haven brimming with endless fun, excitement, and the quintessential North-American entertainment experience. From exhilarating arcades, a gigantic cinema, bowling lanes to sprawling playgrounds and regular spectacles, Heron City could provide a day of laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories. And when hunger strikes, you could indulge in a variety of fast-food chains, more refined restaurants, pubs and cafés, ensuring a satisfying culinary and social experience for all. However, it's best to set aside expectations of finding a typical Spanish lifestyle here.
Basima Fawaz★★★★★
A very good place to have some fun , go out with friends or family , play some bowling and a lot of games , a variety of good restaurants
Michelle Colomes★★★★★
This is a great place to hang out. Whether you’re young or not so much, you will find a nice variety of places to eat for all kinds of budgets, movie theaters, and leisure games such as laser tag, bowling, arcades etc. On weekends it’s packed. Teenagers meet there and parents have a beer. The only thing you won’t find is stores. Shopping is not a possibility except for a really little shop and a supermarket.

I had an excellent experience at the Guerlain counter thanks to María Jesús Vicent Civera. She provided a truly professional and personalized makeup consultation. María patiently tested several Guerlain foundation shades on my skin until we found the perfect match. This level of attention is rare and made a big difference. She then created a full makeup look using Guerlain products, explaining each step and product in a very clear and friendly way. The result looked beautiful and natural, and I actually received many compliments later that evening. What impressed me most was her professionalism, product knowledge, and the way she makes the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. She also kindly spent time helping my friend who came with me and gave us both samples to try. This is exactly the level of service you expect from a luxury brand like Guerlain. Thank you, María, for such a wonderful experience!

I had very pleasant experiences of collecting online purchases. Well, in my email was written that for pick up I need to go to floor S2 - which does not exist if you look at the board. But I figure that out 🙌 so it is located on P1 level. Where parking is. I took a ticket from the machine, when my number was on a screen - I went to the indicated desk and got my purchase. All good and very efficient.
Cabo John★★★★☆
Love this place, excellent staff and everything you need. Just bought a coffee machine €85.00 with 3 year warranty cheaper than Media Mart and Fanc.
Miguel★☆☆☆☆
Came to pick up a "speedy online order" after being told the item I'd ordered online was ready for pickup. First, it's almost impossible to find the pickup location. Second, it took me around 40 minutes of waiting to get my order. They have tons of lockers, at least 100, for order pickups that are completely unused, and then a big room of people waiting where you have to take a ticket and wait because they take an unnecessarily long time checking out every person.

To the useless man on the 5th floor at the air guns session cashier and his equally useless manager: learn your laws, you dont need a DNI to purchase a category 4 air compression pistol. A NIE, and an ID document suffices for EU citizens. I understand you think your little country has special laws, but you dont. You are in the EU. Stop lying about Guardia Civil requirements and guidelines unless you want me to bring guardia civil there next time. I purchased the pistol at a gunsmith without fuss because the people working there actually know the law. You people are entirely and completely useIess.

Nice center. Lot of shopping options with branded and non branded shops. Lots of restaurants. Stone baked pizza was outstanding which is on -1 floor of the centre. Its in the corner and most customers dont even recognize it. I think was something like Mo/Mi...I am sorry but can't recall the name. The guy alone is running the shop but provided extraordinary service. Please visit him. He is running the business on his own and bearly meeting the ends. Close by big businesses are overcoming his shop by attracting the customers. In my opinion, he makes the best pizza in Valencia. Cheapest price and for Muslims, good news is its Halal as well. Enjoy the gallery.

This ain’t what it used to be. El Corte inglés was the best shop in Spain because of its customer service. Well not anymore. Is eitherr you like it or I don’t care look somewhere else. From the best shop to below average. I think it need to change its name to the Corte español!

Great selection and variety of brands and products. Coming from depressed collection of the boring sameness of USA clothing, it was great to see that in person shopping is still alive and kicking in Valencia, elegant, high quality, would return.

An ever decreasing shops Commercial Centre between Benidorm and Finestrat. Good Parking here and relatively close to Mercadona, Aldi & Lidl too. Fashion and Shoe Shops, Jewellery and a small variety of cafeteria and eateries on the top floor. Toilets are clean for a public area. Worth a visit maybe if you like shopping !!!???
T. K.★★★★☆
This mall has most of the big chain of stores like Zara, C&A, H&M, etc. among other stores. About 10 minutes by taxi from Benidorm centre. Costs "about" 15 €. Don’t forget the shops just outside the mall, across the road.
Local Heroes★★★★★
Called at this shopping mall on the outskirts of Benidorm there's also a lot more stores on the commercial site but too many to go into them all but we did call in at the Lidl around that area. The shopping mall was excellent & clean with some great shops in there even a Zara & a Zara Home Furnishings it was lovely to go into the C & A store & would love to see them open up again in England. There's some great eating places what are on the roof of the building which also gives you great views of the surrounding areas was so easy to get to this Shopping Centre weather you have a car or just get the number 2 bus from Benidorm
M RF★★★★★
Great shopping centre! You have an array of shops to buy. The only thing missing is a chocolate store, but the rest you’ll find everything you are looking for!
Carl Kendall★★★★★
Each time I come to Benidorm I always make a visit to this little shopping centre, be in for the good range of shops or the free WiFi. The centre is a short bus ride away from Benidorm (bus number 2) and there is a good choice of shops like C&A, Pepco, Zara and H&M. The centre is also opposite a Lidl and the tram station is just behind the small retail park behind the shopping centre. I recommend a visit if you are in the Benidorm area.

The shopping part of the mall has little choice of shops, the Burger King outside is dirty and full of pigeons, the Chinese restaurant on the right corner is very good, clean and perfect for families with small children.
CRITICAL CONSUMER★★★☆☆
Shopping centre mainly a big supermarket with a couple of little shops opposite the checkout tills and a sportshop at one end, Burger king at the other. The supermarket is a big one from the French chain Carrefour, with many household products and clothes. Everything is more expensive than you would expect to pay for the quality, in the food section they have a big variety of brands and products, but noticeably more expensive than your average supermarket. Their own brand is definitely a no no after having tried at least 50 different products of their own brand I have not been satisfied with any... The only times I have gone for it is where they overpriced the other brands so much that you choose their own brand, only to regret it... EVERY TIME!!! Some have a minute section of overseas products, but increaesly less products on offer. For the price I would choose any other supermarket the only positive thing is the amount of different brands and products under the one roof

Very accessible by autobus or by car, parking is free. The Carrefour supermarket is plenty of offers and very well organized. The shelves are ergonomic. There's a Burger King inside the facility and some cafes and little service shops

It was good to find a major food supplier open on a Sunday which offers an extensive range of food & non food items. However I found some foods we purchased lacked quality / taste compared with other supermarkets of similar produce.

It is not bad but the wash rooms normally smell very bad they need to rebuild them. And the roof of the centre is need to need to be repaired it's dropping water when it rains. They also have Halal food options which is great
Saguardia★★★☆☆
A good place to spend some time on a boring afternoon. However, it only offers shops and restaurants, and lacks of other kind of entertainment like cinemas or bowling.
Kebab Turca★★★★☆
Nice shopping centre just missing few shops like zara pull and bear jack and jones bershka. Restaurant zone is fine even they have Turkish halal food. Hay un kebab por 3.99 muy barato y bueno.

Great mall, great selection and prices

Not so many shops, but for people like me who hates going shopping it's a perfect place, I always go there and buy everything in one shop and don't get too tired. The other good thing is that they always organise different family events and contests for teens.

Your outlet in the middle of Valencia. Plenty of options to choose from the top brands depending on your taste and size. Highly recommendable to make your money last!

Had the best chicken burger at their cafeteria. Wasn’t expecting such a delicious burger to be honest. And the price was fair too 🙂
Manuel★★★★☆
There are some good bargains of known brands, but the general prices are a bit expensive.

Maybe they are seeking the world record in bad service? Six guys behind the counter and nobody helped the customers to pay. Never coming back here for sure.

Essential Tips for Shopping in Valencia

To make the most of your retail experience in Valencia, it helps to understand the local rhythms and customs. Spanish shopping culture differs significantly from the 24/7 convenience found in North America or parts of Asia, and being aware of these nuances will save you time and frustration. From understanding siesta hours to maximizing your tax-free benefits, a little local knowledge goes a long way in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable day out.

Plan around the siesta and Sundays. While most large shopping malls in Valencia do not close for the traditional afternoon siesta, smaller shops within them might have varied hours. The most critical rule to remember is that on Sundays and public holidays, almost all shops outside of designated tourist zones are closed. However, the large malls on this list are usually open, making them the primary destination for weekend shopping.

Utilize the excellent public transport. Driving and parking in Valencia’s city center can be stressful due to narrow streets and traffic restrictions. Most major malls are connected to the Metrovalencia or EMT bus network. Taking the metro is often faster and cheaper than driving, especially for centers located near the Turia Gardens or the outskirts.

Take advantage of Tax-Free shopping. If you are a non-EU resident, you are entitled to a refund on the VAT (IVA) for purchases over €90.01. Look for the "Tax Free" signs in store windows. When making a purchase, ask the cashier for a DIVA form. You can then validate this form at the automated kiosks in the airport before you depart to receive your refund.

Dress for the climate, not just the fashion. While you might want to try on winter coats or boots, remember that Valencia can be extremely hot and humid. Malls are heavily air-conditioned, so bringing a light sweater or shawl is advisable, even in summer, to avoid the shock of the cold air when entering from the street.

Combine shopping with dining. Valencians view shopping as a social event. Do not rush through your visit. The food courts in these malls are often a step above the standard fast-food fare, featuring local tapas bars and Valencian horchata stands. Schedule your shopping trip around a meal to rest your feet and experience the local food culture without leaving the building.

The evolution of the shopping mall in Valencia reflects the city’s broader commitment to blending functionality with beauty. Whether you are wandering through a renovated historic market or a sleek new complex designed by an award-winning architect, the experience is designed to be pleasurable, not just practical. These spaces are no longer just about consumption; they are about community, leisure, and escaping the elements.

Ultimately, the best mall for you depends entirely on what you are looking for. If you want the biggest brands and the latest trends, the mega-centers on the outskirts will satisfy you. If you want convenience and a quick errand, the central community hubs are perfect. No matter which you choose, you are guaranteed to find a slice of modern Valencian life alongside your new purchases.
