15 Best Hotels in Ibiza Town Near Dalt Vila

Ibiza Town, known locally as Eivissa, is a destination of contrasts. By day, its marinas shimmer under the Mediterranean sun and café terraces hum with quiet conversation. By night, especially in the narrow lanes of the old quarter, the air fills with the scent of orange blossom and the distant pulse of world-famous clubs.

For many visitors, the area around Dalt Vila—the fortified, UNESCO-listed upper town—offers the most atmospheric place to stay. This historic acropolis rises above the port, enclosed by 16th-century Renaissance walls that glow golden at sunset. Choosing a hotel here places you within walking distance of both centuries-old history and the contemporary energy of the marina.

The appeal of staying near Dalt Vila goes beyond convenience. You are positioned above the modern commercial center, yet close enough to stroll down to the yachting harbor, the ferry terminals, and the boutiques of the Marina Botafoch. The steep, cobbled streets reward you with panoramic views of the sea and Formentera on clear mornings.

Accommodation in this zone ranges from converted palaces hidden behind unmarked wooden doors to sleek design hotels overlooking the ramparts. Because the old town restricts vehicle access, many properties offer a rare sense of quiet that feels impossible just a few hundred meters away. You trade the beachfront for authenticity, history, and a slower pace.

This guide focuses on hotels that genuinely deliver location, comfort, and character within a short walk of Dalt Vila’s main gate, the Portal de ses Taules. Each property has been selected for its practical access to the old town, its consistent guest feedback, and its ability to suit different travel styles. You will find options for romantic breaks, solo explorations, and family stays.

Whether you want to wake up inside the walls of a medieval town or stay just below them in the lively La Marina district, there is a fitting choice. The best options balance the romance of the old town with modern essentials like reliable air conditioning, soundproofing, and attentive service.

Below is a curated list of the best hotels near Dalt Vila, chosen to help you match the right property to your travel priorities. Each summary focuses on what makes the hotel stand out in this specific, historic part of Ibiza Town.

This is an excellent and new hotel by Vibra. - Location is excellent. You have Spar supermarket next door and lots of great food option around the area. Beach is just down the street, taxi stand is only few steps away. - The staff are very friendly and helpful. We end up renting a car from their referral, and it was cheaper than renting from the airport - The room is clean and modern, I wish the mini fridge could be a bit bigger, it did help with cooling our bottled water - The shower water pressure is excellent - The AC runs excellent - The only few downside I would say would be, there are two LED light strips next to TV. Unfortunately I cannot turn off only the two LED lights, the whole room lighting goes with it. The lighting intensity is not possible to adjust, so it is very hard on the eyes into the late evening prior to bed. - The sound proofing is not so great, we can hear neighbour playing music or stomping. Not a problem, just have to wear earplug - There is a strong floral scent through out the entire lobby and the room. We had to wait in the lobby for about 2 hours before we can check in, and I became a little nauseating from the scent. And we got into the room, same scent carried was in the room too. It is very noticeable once the room is cleaned, the cleaner use the scent to freshen up the room. This, I would highly recommend the hotel to dial back the scent, I am not allergic but it was so strong that this may also affected other travellers too. - Breakfast: lots of option, and they change up some dish each day. There are more breads, pastry and cookies than protein options. For the eggs, you only get scramble egg style. Overall the hotel is excellent, we would definitely come back to stay again if we came back to Ibiza again.

Giovanni was a great help ! He was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful throughout the entire process. They answered all of my questions, made everything easy to understand, and went above and beyond to ensure I had a smooth experience. Excellent customer service—thank you for your kindness and professionalism!

If you are looking for a modern and beautiful hotel in Ibiza, Hotel Vibra Vila is an excellent choice. The entire property is new, very clean, and thoughtfully designed. The rooftop pool and panoramic view were simply gorgeous. The location is also fantastic — very close both to the beaches and to the city center, making it easy to enjoy Ibiza without needing a car. Another huge advantage is that the airport bus stops directly in front of the hotel, which made traveling incredibly convenient for us. What truly made this stay special was Giovanni at the front desk. He was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making our stay unforgettable. The hotel staff arranged everything we needed and gave us amazing recommendations throughout the trip. Breakfast was excellent every day, and the hotel offers fantastic value for money. Being part of the Vibra group is another big advantage because guests can access services at other Vibra hotels across the island. We didn’t use this benefit yet, so we already have another reason to come back.

Experience was great. Giovanni was very welcoming on our arrival and Aya was lovely on our departure. Hotel was clean and has a nice lobby to sit in. Very good location close to the airport and right next to a taxi stand.

This hotel was an amazing stay! Rooms where clean and very nice. I definitely recommend a top floor room where you get an amazing sea view and spacious balcony. Big extra kudos to the friendly and helpful staff, especially Giovanni, who helped us when our next hotel caused troubles. Service way above expectations!

We were very pleased with our stay last week here in a 1 bed apt. It was very clean and well appointed with two fabulous loungers on our private balcony with side views of the sea. Great location, close to Ibiza Town and the promenade down to Figuretas. Hotel and pool area gave a very good impression as well. Only niggle would be that heating was turned off as of 1st of April which is really too early as the nights were cool. Also the kitchenette was minimally stocked for two people - could use 4 glasses instead of 2 for ex. But I would definitely recommend if you're looking for a smart hotel within easy walking distance to town and beach.

One of the best hotels I've been to. Rooms are spotless, the bathroom is big and spacious with lots of privacy. There is even a second door in the room to provide extra noise cancelation from the corridor. Staff are friendly, breakfast is 5 stars!! Pool is nice and not too crowded, the pool bar also has many options. Cute small beach next to it. Only 10 min walk from the start of the old city, saves you a few taxis 🙂 Would come again for sure.

I previously shared a review regarding some issues with the pool service . However, after I reported the matter to the supervisor, the situation was handled very professionally and promptly, and I received a sincere apology. I truly appreciate the way of management addressed the issue and took my feedback seriously. Thank you for everything. The service was good overall, and I had a great experience. Everything was wonderful.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning in my room was a major concern during my stay. There were numerous visible black spots around the air vents that looked like mold, and whenever the air conditioning was running, there was a strange and unpleasant smell coming from it. I used the air conditioning during my first night at the hotel and woke up the next morning with a sore throat. Of course, I cannot say for certain that the air conditioning was the cause, but after noticing the unusual smell and then seeing the condition of the vents, I became very concerned about the cleanliness of the system. I was so uncomfortable with it that I did not dare to turn the air conditioning on at all on the second night, despite the summer heat in Ibiza. This was particularly disappointing because air conditioning is obviously an important part of a comfortable hotel stay in Ibiza during the summer. Guests should be able to use it without worrying about the cleanliness of the air they are breathing. I have attached photos/video showing the condition of the air vents. I sincerely hope the hotel will inspect the air-conditioning system and arrange for it to be thoroughly and professionally cleaned. Apart from this issue, I was happy with the service and the location of the hotel, but the condition of the air conditioning had a significant impact on the comfort of my stay.

Gorgeous sea-view brunch spot with direct beach access and super kind staff. Such a gorgeous place. Great breakfast and brunch until 12:00, spacious rooms with sea views, and most importantly, kind and friendly staff. I will definitely be back. There’s direct access to the beach through a garden gate, plus a gym, sauna, and outdoor swimming pool. A huge plus for me was the incredibly comfortable bed and the amazing brunch surprise. #hotelibizza

Loved my stay here! I came by myself from Canada, as I was meeting a group of friends who live in London, their hotel was sold out. The hotel was in a great location, in the middle Of everything depending on what you’re doing. Close to playa den Bossa, Ibiza town, other clubs etc. pool was amazing. I felt very safe the whole time. It is up on a hill, I took a bus there from the airport and had to walk up the hill. I recommend taking a taxi, they are all metered. Sometimes it took a bit to get a taxi from the hotel, but you can walk down the hill to town in a few minutes to a taxi stand and get one quickly. Would definite stay here next time I come back!

I stayed two nights at this hotel as a solo traveller. The reception staff were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is located on top of a hill so bear this in mind if you enjoy walking & wear decent walking shoes. There’s a really jolly chap there that worked in the breakfast bar and restaurant with a ponytail who is super nice and helpful. I didn’t catch his name but his personality and laughter was fun to be around. He obviously enjoys his job. Thanks for a great albeit brief stay 😀

The hotel was neat! I was travelling alone and I really had a great experience in the hotel starting in reception. Very friendly and attentive staff , the breakfast is very good and also the pool terrace amazing view. There were a lot of families in the hotel and the guests were very respectful and not noisy so definitely felt safe and relaxed which is not the case in other hotels in Ibiza. I had my breakfast in the rooftop terrace but I was a bit annoyed with the wind so I preferred to stay inside the hotel by the nice reception sofas and tables, which were very comfy and allowed me to work for a bit!
Peter Granger-Brown★★★★★
My partner and I loved our stay here. We opted for a sea view room, well worth the extra cost. The room was spotlessly clean and very nicely furnished with complementary coffee that was topped up throughout our stay. Our only criticism of the room is that water escaped the shower tray when we showered and so our bath mat got drenched (but replaced daily so not a huge issue). Breakfast selection was excellent and staff throughout our stay could not have been more helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely with stunning sea views. Everything just felt very clean and well maintained, we struggle to fault our stay here. Would definitely book again.

Very good hotel with gym, comfy beds, swimming pool, million dollars view and welcoming staff. Rooms were super clean and well equipped 👌👍 I already want to be back. Beach super close 5 min indeed. Supermarket close by too, 7 min. I enjoyed my stay a lot 🙌

Outstanding location on the top of the old city with superb views to the sea, the island... But that is the less of the reasons to visit it. The whole way it has been built makes in it a sort of piece of art that mixes with an special touch, the antique rests dating from over 2000 to the XIX, with very actual and minimalistic set up. The combination makes it really unique. And that itself is not yet the main reason. We had the pleasure to eat at their nice restaurant. Tasty food, very well cooked. Let yourself be adviced by Jairo. It is a pleasure this days to have a profesional that is not just trying to raise your bill with a smile. Not here, they are honest and extremely warm (Regards to Paola and the woman at the restaurant reception). And on top of that, the guest experience service leaded by Cristina y Barbara will make you time in Ibiza fully worth it. The latter gave us a tour (Guests only) through the Parador showing us all the preserved archeological remains, among some history bites: Fully advisable. If you arrive by car, the charming valet team will take care and park it in their own "hidden" installation. The entrance from there is simply amazing. Perfect place with an awesome team.

We experienced a very serious privacy and security incident during our stay. A hotel employee entered our room at approximately 1:00 a.m. without our knowledge. Even more concerning, we received contradictory explanations from the staff, and the management showed no empathy or professionalism in handling the situation. Instead of investigating the incident and reassuring us, we were simply told that if we did not feel safe, we were free to leave. This is not the level of guest care or security one would expect from a luxury hotel. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend staying here.
Kat Iliadou★☆☆☆☆
Our experience was marked by a very serious security and privacy issue. During the night, a member of the hotel staff entered our room without authorization. Instead of receiving a clear explanation and a sincere effort to address what had happened, we were faced with conflicting stories and a disappointing response from management. A hotel should make its guests feel safe at all times, but unfortunately this was not our experience. Because of the way this incident was handled, I would not recommend this hotel. The incident itself was deeply concerning, but the way it was handled by the management was even more disappointing.

Inappropriate renovation of the courtyard.

This is Ibiza, so in dance-music terms: the build-up was long and the drop was worth the wait. The Parador de Ibiza finally opened this year, after two decades in production, in the castle at the top of Dalt Vila. As an Australian, I had never heard of Paradores: a Spanish network of hotels, mostly in historic buildings, restored and kept in use. This is the first in the Balearics, and the breakthrough act of the year. The restoration is a world-class remaster of a site that has been adding layers since the Phoenicians. The rooms are spacious and thought out to the millimetre. You would be hard-pressed to find beds on the island with a better view. In reviews I read, nobody had put the kitchen up in lights. It should be. I ordered what I thought was a small meal and got a full set of anthems: an artful amuse-bouche, late-summer tomatoes under anchovies and scarlet prawn, with every colour turned up to eleven. The meal was cooked and served with obvious pride, and the same pride runs through all the staff. The guest experience team, which I am told is the first in the network, runs a site tour in Spanish and English. On mine, Spaniards outnumbered me about twenty to one, a sign you are in the right place. Getting there is simple: take a taxi. By road you skirt the rabbit warren of the old town, and every driver knows the car entrance. I still enjoy a party as much as anyone, but the more often I come, the more the island itself is the draw. This was my first Parador and will not be my last. Of Ibiza's many headliners, it is the one I am bringing my family back for.

For the price, not quite good enough. You might as well spend a little bit more and go to a nicer hotel. Location is great though. Room was very clean, cleaning staff are friendly and great. My biggest problem was that I called twice before my arrival and asked if the pool was going to be open and they assured me it was going to be. I called before I paid and after I got confirmation from the manager I booked. Upon arrival the pool was still under construction. Big disappointment as this was the only nice thing about the hotel.
Liv Breivik★★☆☆☆
We booked this hotel specifically for its rooftop pool, which was a major factor in our decision. However, upon arrival during the Easter holiday (a busy tourist period) we were shocked to find the pool closed (apparently they always close it off-season). There was no prior notification about this closure, either during booking or before our stay. When we expressed our disappointment, the hotel offered neither compensation nor alternatives (such as access to a nearby pool). This lack of transparency and customer service left us feeling misled and frustrated. For the price we paid, we expected better communication and fairness. This experience significantly impacted our stay and left us feeling like we didn’t receive the value we paid for.

This hotel gave us the worst experience of our trip. All the hotels we stayed on our trip were cooperative but not this one. No service no proper answers given the staff is not helpful at all avoid staying at this hotel
Daniel Colmenares★★☆☆☆
They didn’t say the pool was closed during the booking. The people were very distant and the service felt very square minded, lacking even recommendations of places around, transportation and the breakfast was rather poor in contrast to other similarly ranked hotels. The rooftop wasn’t good and felt old and poorly maintained. I wouldn’t recommend this place to friend nor family. I actually got quite disappointed because the air conditioner also never cooled the room not even at night. Finally, when speaking with them regarding the pool and that there was nothing in the their web page nor in booking where we did the reservation, their reaction was indifferent, shameless and it was the non willingness to help or recognise it that really makes me feel this is just the place where discussing is worthless. I wouldn’t repeat this place and certainly not recommend it.

The solo experience at the hotel royal plaza was okay the swimming pool is okay the breakfast buffet is great and the location is walking distance to the Ibiza cathedral and Ibiza port.

We recently spent three nights at Mirador Dalt Vila, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, everything was thoughtfully arranged including a complimentary airport pickup, which made our arrival seamless and stress-free. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Ibiza’s old town, offering both charm and convenience in one of the most beautiful areas of the island. Our junior suite was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a very comfortable bed and a large, well-designed bathroom. The staff consistently went above and beyond to accommodate every request with care and attention to detail. Although breakfast isn’t included, we chose to try it one morning and were very impressed. The food was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients, beautifully presented, and accompanied by excellent coffee. What truly sets this hotel apart is its intimate, welcoming atmosphere. It feels personal and relaxed, with a team that genuinely cares about making your stay as enjoyable as possible. We felt completely at home. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and would love to return in the future.

An exceptional property in a magical location. I usually like to stay by the coast but wow - how special it was to look out at the Castle from my room! The amenities and service were excellent. Every element of the stay was well considered and each team member I interacted with was meticulous - a special shout out to Marta who promptly handled all of my queries throughout my stay. Highly recommended.

Having stayed in five-star hotels around the world, and with a particular preference for boutique hotels, I can say this one genuinely stands out as a very special place. We stayed in the Grand Suite and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel was immaculate, the location in Dalt Vila is superb, and check-in was smooth, warm and professional with special touches from housekeeping. Breakfast, both in our room and in the restaurant, was excellent, and dinner in the hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurant was outstanding. What really makes this hotel special, though, is the staff. They are an enormous credit to the property. Warm, attentive and highly professional, nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. A beautiful boutique hotel run to a very high standard. We would return without hesitation

Hard to imagine staff more attentive and accommodating. Genuinely friendly without unctuous. Beautiful, elegant property. Restaurant exceptional in de re ice and food quality. Special shout out to manager Virgina and drivers Carlos and Ishmael
Robb Levinsky★★★★☆
Four star hotel with five star prices and six star services. It's a lovely, well managed small hotel with a tiny pool that has exactly 4 lounge chairs, rooms are very nice and spotless with an excellent bathroom and first class furniture, mattress, towels, sheets, etc We paid for a supposed mini suite with 'lateral Ocean view', it was a standard hotel room with no views at all. For the money, there's much better options in terms of the rooms and hotel amenities. What stood out and held it together was absolutely exceptional service. Everyone was warm, capable, and went out of their way to make sure it was a first class experience. When we wanted a rental car for example, a really nice man brought it to our front door, said " don't worry about little scratches, it's a family business, just enjoy yourself", and picked it up from us when we were done. When we went to the beach, they gave us a beach bag with beach towels, they left personal hand written notes in our room each night. Everything was like that, it made what honestly might have been a somewhat average nice hotel for a premium price feel like it was worth it.

We visited the hotel for only one night and it was absolutely fair. The stuff was very friendly and we even got an early check-in. The rooms are okay - for this price range you can‘t expect more. It had the minimum but everything you need. Unfortunately the bathroom had a bad smell - I asume it came from the sink… therefore the bathroom door needed to be closed all the time. Also the bed is not cozy at all and for my taste there is a small lamp next to the bed missing… it would be a bit more cozy. The walls/doors are very thin - so if u have a light sleep it‘s probably a bit loud if people are talking in front of your door. There is also a lobby with some vending machines and also a luggage room (free of charge) which was TOP. Ah and the location is also perfect! All-in-all we had a good experience and we would come again for a short stay.
Jamie★☆☆☆☆
This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It is noisy constantly, the staff are rude and obviously hate their jobs or resent their guests and the room had a small window with metal bars over it facing a dark alleyway. The beds are hard with a single flat pillow to sleep on. The shower flooded and soaked the bedroom and our clothes. The cleaners blast music from 7am which vibrated our bed. When we asked them to turn it down they just turned it up instead. My partner was outright ignored when she asked a staff member a question and on departure the receptionist didn’t even say bye. Horrible hotel with horrible staff that i wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.

Very good hotel for what was needed. I had a 1 night solo stay and this was close to the airport and town centre. Receptionists were friendly and helpful. Rooms were as pictured and clean

Decent hotel for a good price considering the prices in Ibiza. The rooms were very clean which is the most important thing for me, but nothing special. Comfy beds (if you like sleeping on a harder mattress), nice clean bathroom, small balcony with a sea view, you don't need more if you are planning to be out most of the time. I'd appreciated if we had maybe some water glasses and coffee in the room at least. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were also surprised that we didn't hear any noise during the night, or maybe we were just lucky with the people that were there at that time. The location is really good with a lot of stores and restaurants that are open until late (we arrived at 23:30 and we could still have dinner at the restaurant downstairs). The beach in front of the hotel is not very nice if you want to spend the day at the beach (water is quite dirty) but it is decent for the views and for a little walk in the morning or evening. Unfortunately, a lot of people leave their trash on the beach and this is not very pleasant.
Dusan Spasojevic★☆☆☆☆
Only cold water in rooms! Even if you pay 255 euros for a night. I have made a complaint to the host, but they didn't do anything, they even said they take cold showers during summer, so they don't see it as a problem.

We stayed here with two persons for 4 days. The location is very central with the boulevard just 5 minutes away. The included breakfast was surprisingly good: lots of variety and good quality. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and the beds are fantastic. Having a balcony was a big plus. The staff was very friendly, but I want to give a big shout out to Louis. Having travelled all over the world, and meeting many hotel staff, experiencing Louis at the front office was a bliss. Louis goes all the way to make your stay memorable, by giving advice, tips and recommendations for your Ibiza stay. Just follow his guidance and you will have a great time in Ibiza! Thank you very much @Louis for upgrading our Ibiza experience and we hope to see you again at our next stay at Play Hotel Ibiza!

Nice and easy check-in, a perfect location, effective air conditioning, quiet rooms, and excellent room service. However, the room lacked basic amenities such as a kettle and a coffee maker. We also noticed ants along the walls and in the bathroom. The breakfast was nothing special. The food was rather bland and not of the quality one would expect for the price. Overall, the price quality ratio is not particularly good.

I live just around the corner and booked this hotel for my parents when they came to visit us in Ibiza, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. The welcome and the staff were absolutely fantastic, very friendly, helpful, and professional from the moment they arrived. The hotel is very clean, well maintained, and the rooms are beautiful. Comfortable beds and pillows, an amazing shower, and everything spotless. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels, which they really appreciated. Breakfast was excellent, with a lot of choice and good quality products. The atmosphere in the hotel is very relaxed, with a nice lounge area where you can sit, read, and enjoy the morning. My parents were very enthusiastic and really enjoyed their stay. Price, quality is top. Highly recommended, especially if you want a clean, friendly, and comfortable hotel in Ibiza.

Perfect Stay – Can’t Wait to Come Back! I had an amazing stay at Play Hotel Ibiza! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome and at home. The rooms were modern, super clean, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing holiday. The location is perfect – just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and nightlife, yet still quiet enough to get a good night’s sleep. The atmosphere at the hotel was relaxed and friendly, and the overall vibe was exactly what I was looking for. Special thanks to the team for their hospitality – it really made a difference. I’ll definitely be coming back next year. Highly recommended!

Got unbelievably lucky to discover this cool Zen oasis on my very first trip to Ibiza! What a gem. Terrific central location, receptionists are lovely and great fun, breakfast is exquisite. As for the room, the room was great, with direct access to a very nice patio. Very Happy with my stay here. Ps: the see through bathroom i found really cool. Very nice staff, especially the greeters at the door - always welcoming and smiling. Rooms were comfortable, nice bedding, and the shower was fantastic. It can be loud at night, but that should be expected for the center of Ibiza. The hotel provided ear plugs and complementary water. The rooftop was never busy during the day (we were there in early June) and we were able to get seating on a bed both days. It is important to note that you will have direct sun during the day, even with umbrellas over the beds, as they cannot be adjusted. We weren't able to stay too long because it was too much sun for our liking. The pool is very nice and a good size for a rooftop - quiet background music, nice staff. The restaurant by the lobby is fine - slower than normal service and higher than normal pricing. There are other places in the immediate area that have better value. The hotel's location is perfect for walking all over Ibiza Town. We enjoyed that aspect of the hotel the most.

On my first day, while checking in, I clearly and explicitly asked the receptionist if I could extend my stay by one more day. After checking, they told me there was availability and that the extension was confirmed. However, just one day before the end of my vacation, the front desk called me and claimed I had to check out by 12:00 PM. When I reminded them of my conversation with the receptionist on the first day and explained that my checkout was supposed to be tomorrow, they said they would look into it. It turns out the employee I spoke to on day one completely dismissed the situation and failed to process it. As a result, they told me my stay had not been extended and that the hotel was now fully booked. My only options were to either upgrade to a suite that cost three times as much or leave the hotel immediately. I am the victim in this situation. With only one day left of my vacation, I was suddenly kicked out of my room. Because of their mistake, I had to book a new hotel at the very last minute, which cost me significantly more money than usual. They were zero help no solutions offered, no apologies, absolutely no attempt to fix their mistake. On top of that, they treated me as if I were the one at fault. I STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST STAYING HERE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Rosie Laurence★★★☆☆
We chose to stay here, despite great price premium, as we understood they had a great rooftop bar with DJ and cool party vibes. Sadly there is no more of that. We arrived and although the staff seemingly knew nothing, and all we're expecting 'normal service' to resume 'manana'. It did not. Turns out they have now no licence. We did complain and they have at least now amended the 'events' page to take down any mention of this, think it's important to know. The hotel itself was ok. But did not feel as lux and chic as made out. Up now just sushi (no mexican accents, also something that had drawn us as per reviews and website). Didn't even actually ask how our stay was as we left. The answer would be disappointing. Won't be returning.

Carlos made our stay - friendly and welcoming from the start, and he even indulged my wife by sticking with Spanish so she could practice. Great recommendations too. The whole staff was awesome. Valet deserves a special mention: the street is tight and it looked stressful, but they handled it flawlessly every single time. Hotel itself is centrally located, clean, cool, and the rooftop is great. Would recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Standard, Ibiza, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful: our room was stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The rooftop is a true highlight: stunning views, amazing atmosphere, and the perfect spot to relax both during the day. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the service. The team is outstanding and genuinely makes you feel at home in a way that is so rare nowadays. A very special mention to Alejandro, Manuel, and Sonia from the Concierge team -they went above and beyond for us. They created a full itinerary for our stay, and every single recommendation was spot on. Thanks to them, we were able to experience the very best of Ibiza without any stress. It’s the people that really set this hotel apart: the warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care are something you don’t often find elsewhere. We left already looking forward to coming back.

Great and modern hotel in the city center of Ibiza. The highlight of our stay was definitely the service - all the staff was very nice and kindly accommodate our needs. Special thanks for guys at the reception who always helped with smile. Hotel was very clean, easy to walk to old town and would come back!
Mirsada Kadribasic★★★★★
The hotel is in an excellent location, and the view from the restaurant balcony overlooking the old town is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast is very good, with a nice variety of options. The staff are extremely kind and accommodating, always ready to help. Oliver in particular was very friendly and welcoming. The room is modernly decorated and very clean, which made the stay even more comfortable.

The hotel was amazing – very clean, modern, and in a perfect location. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the staff was kind and helpful, and our room was cleaned every day. The only thing to keep in mind is that the bathroom and toilet are inside the room and separated only by a glass wall. It didn’t affect our experience at all, but we mention it just for information.

Hotel recently refurbished, looks nice + well located. BUT refurb was on look and nothing on room noise isolation which is really bad -> you can really hear everything from the other guests + the cleaning ladies in the morning. Was not able to rest well which is a basic objective (for me).

We had an amazing experience, the service is really good, very attentive staff and the location was just perfect for us. The breakfast has a good variety of options. Just 2 things bothered us: they'll only call you a taxi once you're downstairs and waiting there- what can take sometimes up to 30min. The cleaning ladies are incredibly rude but on the other hand all the other staff are kind and polite. On my last day they delayed my clothes that I sent to the laundry but they've compensated it. Overall: I'd definitely return here

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my stay at Eurostars Puerto de Ibiza was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I've had. When we arrived, the first room we were given was dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned to the standard you'd expect from a four-star hotel. There were multiple cleanliness issues that made us uncomfortable enough to immediately return to the front desk. I do want to mention that the front desk employee who initially helped us was incredibly kind and understanding. She apologized, handled the situation professionally, and quickly moved us to another room, which we genuinely appreciated. Unfortunately, the second room wasn't much better. While it appeared cleaner at first, it had a strong musty smell, the humidity inside the room was unbearable, and the shower drain didn't work properly. Water wouldn't drain, and dirty water and debris would repeatedly come back up through the drain while showering. We called the front desk, were told someone would come fix it, and waited over an hour. No one ever showed up. At that point, we no longer felt comfortable staying at the hotel. We went to the front desk to check out and requested a refund. The hotel offered to upgrade us to yet another room, but after already experiencing issues with two separate rooms and waiting over an hour for maintenance that never arrived, we declined. We had completely lost confidence in the hotel's ability to provide the level of service expected from a property in this price range. This is when we were directed to speak with the manager on duty, who was incredibly unhelpful. Rather than acknowledging the issues or trying to make the situation right, she dismissed our concerns and even tried to convince us that the shower drain backing up and not draining properly was "normal." We've been traveling to Ibiza for the past six years and have stayed in many hotels on the island, and we've never experienced anything like that. She also refused to help us with any refund or provide a reasonable solution despite everything that had happened. After returning home, I had to send three separate emails before anyone from the hotel finally responded. While the situation was eventually acknowledged, it should never take multiple follow-ups just to receive a response after an experience like this. Cleanliness is the absolute minimum expectation for any hotel, and when problems arise, guests deserve responsive customer service and management that takes accountability. Aside from the kindness and professionalism of the first front desk employee, the rest of our experience fell far below the standards this hotel advertises. Ibiza has plenty of excellent hotels, and based on my experience, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
B S★☆☆☆☆
I am extremely disappointed with this hotel. The only positive thing about my stay was the location, which was quite good. Everything else was a major disappointment. The front desk staff was unprofessional and poorly organized. I handed in a T-shirt for the laundry service and specifically asked if there was anything else I needed to do. I was told that everything was fine, and they took my T-shirt along with my room number. The next day I went to collect it and was told to come back in the afternoon. When I returned, they told me to come back the following morning. When I went back the next morning, my T-shirt had still not been washed. Only then did they tell me that I was supposed to sign a form, even though I had clearly asked if there was anything else I needed to do when I handed it over. Their mistake ended up wasting my time. The housekeeping service was just as disappointing. Every time I returned to my room, I would still find sand on the floor, the trash bins had not been emptied, and the towels were often not replaced. This is far below the standard I expect from any hotel. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had. The lack of organization, poor communication, and low standard of service made my stay frustrating. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless the only thing you care about is its location.
Tomas T★★☆☆☆
The location is nice in old town. However the hotel is a total tourist ripoff. The rooms are small, walls are thin so you hear everything in the hallways and above you, the service is noisy in the halls but Ive been here for 4 days and my towels haven’t been replaced.. they provide 2x insta coffees packets, no bathroom kits, cheap construction materials, and when my shower door is closed it goes off its track and will literally lock me in lol.. for $450/nights, there are definitely better options. They’re doing the very least here..
GG★★★☆☆
Location is great. The rooftop and pool is nice. Room was spacious but the bed is uncomfortable. Had an issue with room - air conditioning not working properly and the shower drain not working was leaking out and flooded the room. However the staff did respond promptly and fixed it after calling them.

We absolutely love this place. We first stayed here last year and loved it so much that we booked two more trips before we even left. This year we came back for a whole month with 12 of our friends, and it was just as good if not better. The location is unbeatable. You’re close to everything, but it’s still peaceful and quiet when you want to relax or get a good night’s sleep. The promenade right out the front is perfect for morning walks, and the adults only rooftop pool is one of our favourite spots. The staff are genuinely friendly, and the food is delicious, both breakfast and dinner. Honestly, there’s not much I’d change. The only thing I’d love to see is better rooftop music. Some chilled mainstream house music, or even a laid-back DJ by the pool during the day, would take this place from amazing to absolutely perfect. We’ll definitely be back.

Fsntastic stay thus far - don’t even feel the need to wait until we check out. Location: absolutely fantastic, surrounded by a ton of lovely restaurants with great food. It is a beach front hotel, and you genuinely get a glimpse of the culture (kids on bikes, locals tanning, etc.), fantastic views, and a rooftop bar that is hard to beat including an infinity pool. You are also central to many of Ibizas primary night life locations. Furthermore, the dock outside the hotel also has party boats that basically are a 1 minute walk outside the front entrance of the hotel. Staff: Every staff interaction is done with ease, comfort, and helps drive your stay to be as best as possible. They accommodate multiple languages, and upon arrival we received a free drink for the roof top bar and every single staff member was absolutely fantastic. Room: The rooms are fantastic, AC, mini bar, kitchenette, fantastic bathroom with massive shower head, complimentary bathing products are Balmain and L’Occitane. Room service accommodates the Ibiza culture , we were not addressed until roughly 2pm so no early morning knocks. While I do not normally leave reviews, I felt inclined to write one because they stay has been incredible thus far. Could not recommend One Ibiza more. Thank you staff for the hospitality!

Awful! This hotel totally ignores the fact that one of its guests was shouting and screaming in a drunken rage outside reception at 430am waking up many people, and when you raise it with reception they say there is nothing they can do about it. Manager wasn't interested in our complaint. They were not interested in trying to locate the guest and deal with it. Where was the security guard? Seems if you pay enough money they ignore bad and anti social behavior!

First of all, the transportation from the airport is excellent. The welcome at the hotel was outstanding, and the location is perfect. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Honestly, I was not expecting this level of quality, but the hotel exceeded all my expectations. The breakfast was also excellent. I will definitely come back again. Thank you very much.👏👏👏

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vibra Marítimo and really enjoyed our time here. The location is perfect, close to the beach and the city centre, with beautiful sea views. We booked for 3 people through Hostelworld, and once we checked in, the gentleman at reception said it was only booked for 2 people, even though we paid for 3. On top of that, he accused us of only booking for one person. So I told him, “How can 3 people book with the same email together? Or one person can book for 3 people, so what is wrong with that? “ He literally couldn’t speak English properly and didn’t even seem to understand how to make a booking through the website. I politely asked if we could please speak to the manager or someone who understood the situation better, but he said, “I am the same as the manager,” and didn’t call anyone. We had to pay an extra fee for the third person, and the room was literally the same size as a room for two people, with an extra bed. Terrible view as well. The hotel itself was okay, but the check-in process and the way we were treated were terrible. The rest of the staff were lovely. That gentleman who called himself the same as the manager needs proper customer service training, as well as training on handling third-party bookings. We booked for 3 people through Hostelworld, and once we checked in, the gentleman at reception said it was only booked for 2 people, even though we paid for 3. For a 3 star hotel, I rate this one highly, price was fairly expensive, we pay a little more for a sea facing room , but it’s August & a beach front hotel so that is very standard for Ibiza, the staff were all very lovely, breakfast buffet was good, bar / restaurant area nice, outside bit lovely, rooms small but good aircon comfy bed & good size balcony, hot water good! I do want to to say the service was amazing, we book to stay for a birthday & on the morning we opened the door to a gift bag with a lil card, some sweeties & a gift card for a bottle of lovely Spanish Cava in their bar so 10/10 for that! I really love Figueratas & Eivissa Town / Old town only 15 mins walk! Would definitely stay again! The only downside is no fridge in the room, the beds were 2 singles pushed together & the pool is inside which is bizarre for Spain!

We enjoyed our stay on the whole, it was well kept and fine for a short break. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was in a great location for all amenities, beach, old town, marina & castle. The standard twin room was good and the beds comfortable. The bathroom although very small had everything we needed including shampoo, body wash & soap that is not listed and a hairdryer. The Aircon was very good. I would recommend If you want to make use of the balcony book a sea view. The breakfast was fine with a varied choice. The dinner however was ok but was nearly cold even if you got there early. After a hot day out we came back to use the pool but it was like a sauna in there so we gave it a miss. They have secure lockers for luggage storage and a shower room which is helpful for a late flight. This was a good size but again, unbearably hot.

The hotel is excellently located, right in front of the sea, and the beach is beautiful. Our room faced the ocean and had a lovely view. The room itself was also comfortable and spacious. The staff were very kind and provided great service throughout our stay. There are many restaurants around the hotel, and the area is quiet, making it perfect for resting and relaxing. A big advantage is that it’s within walking distance to the old town, and if you want to go to the clubs, a taxi gets you there in just a few minutes. It’s also only about a 15-minute drive from the airport. I would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place close to the beach, in a peaceful area, with easy access to nightlife.

Amazing location, right in the heart of Ibiza town, close to good restaurants. The view from the good-size balcony is beautiful. The rooms are not very new, but well maintained. The staff is friendly. There is no kettle in the room, be prepared for that but there is a fridge, so we stored ice coffee from the market while we stayed there. Stayed twice. Would like to go again.

I stayed at this hotel the first week in June, 2026. This hotel is located in a fantastic spot, just a 20-minute walk from either the Ibiza Castle or Playa D’en Bossa. If you prefer a quicker option, a short taxi ride will take you to the main attractions. However, I must warn you that Uber is significantly more expensive than taxis. It’s best to avoid using Uber. The front desk staff was exceptional, with Fina standing out as particularly kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was attentive throughout the meal. Borja, the Maître d’hôtel, was not only friendly but also quite funny. His humor, along with the rest of the staff, made me feel welcomed and at home, and I can tell that many guests felt the same way. I highly recommend this hotel for its convenient location, friendly staff, reasonable price point, and proximity to numerous attractions, bars, and restaurants. Their happy hour offer of two beers and tapas for 6 euros or two wines and tapas for 8 euros is simply unbeatable.

The perk of this restaurant is the location- great place for a day drink and some tapas, which was lovely. Unfortunately the service was extremely poor. We love the slow paced holiday vibe, and were in no rush, but had to ask repeatedly for a menu, to order drinks and food, then ask multiple times for more drinks and for the bill. There were lots of staff working on the day, and the restaurant was not very busy as it was earl April, which was disappointing.

Amazing location in Ibiza. The draft beers aren’t poured very well. Too much foam each time the cup is like half foam. Ordered steak medium well and came completely well done but tuna steak was nice. I would order something different next time but it’s a good location so I’d come back for drinks

Tips for Choosing a Hotel Near Dalt Vila

The area directly around Dalt Vila is compact, but the quality and style of accommodation vary widely. A little research before booking will save you from a steep climb with heavy luggage or a room that feels too removed from the action you came to enjoy.

Pack light and confirm luggage assistance. Many streets inside and immediately below Dalt Vila are pedestrian-only or have uneven cobblestones. Even if your hotel is only 200 meters from a taxi drop-off point, that distance can feel long in summer heat. Ask the hotel in advance whether they provide porter service or meet guests at the nearest vehicle access point.

Clarify the exact entrance to the old town. Some hotels describe themselves as “near Dalt Vila” when they are actually in Figueretas or the newer part of town. Before booking, check the walking time to the Portal de ses Taules gate or the Cathedral. A 15-minute walk uphill in August is very different from a flat five-minute stroll in May.

Consider noise versus view trade-offs. Rooms facing the port or the old town walls can deliver unforgettable views, but they may also catch late-night sound from the nearby bars and clubs. If you are a light sleeper, request an interior-facing room or confirm that the property has high-quality double glazing.

Book early for spring and autumn stays. The most atmospheric boutique hotels inside the walls have very few rooms. May, June, September, and October are the best months to enjoy Dalt Vila without extreme heat, but they are also when the most desirable properties sell out first.

Check for rooftop or terrace access. Because the old town is built on a hill, some of the best moments of your trip will happen above street level. A hotel with a rooftop terrace or a private balcony overlooking the ramparts can turn a simple breakfast into the highlight of your day.

Staying near Dalt Vila means accepting that you are not directly on a beach. The nearest sandy stretches, such as Talamanca or Figueretas, require a short walk or a quick taxi ride. What you gain instead is the feeling of living inside a living museum, where every evening walk leads past ancient stone walls and hidden chapels.

Ultimately, the right hotel near Dalt Vila enhances the rhythm of Ibiza Town rather than competing with it. Choose a property that respects the historic setting while providing the modern comfort you need. That balance is what turns a simple overnight stay into a genuine sense of place.
